Shadow here with another chapter! Holy crap the view count doubled with that last chapter and we're almost at 50 followers. Almost makes me think you guys like this story. I apologize if the ending to the last chapter seemed weak. I wrote that whole thing in a day in between classes and homework and was running out of steam at the end and couldn't write a good way to end the chapter. College is a bitch. Now I'm having a hard time starting this one. I've rewritten it about a dozen times. I have always had a hard time starting essays and stuff for no reason. But when I do get started, I just get on a roll and keep going for as long as I can. Sorry if I kept you waiting and here's to a new chapter! Oh my god. So I was rewatching part of the anime and re-reading the light novels to get things right and if you pause the anime on Episode 1, 16:36 you get to see low quality Tiona, Tione and Finn and it's so cursed. Look at it if you haven't; it's so hilarious XD

Anyways, Happy Reading!

After suffering the brutal beating to his brain known as Eina's teaching, they made their way to get Bell some guild issued armor. Bell could probably ask his familia for some better gear, and they'd probably more than happy to do so, but he did not want to be any more indebted to them than he already was. After making sure his armor was on correctly, he thanked Eina for all her help and headed straight for the dungeon.

Even though Eina had all but burned the knowledge of the first 10 floors into his head she still only allowed him to go into the first 3 floors of the dungeon right now. Trained or not, he was still a rookie adventurer and the dungeon doesn't care for that. Upon arriving at the entrance, Bell took a deep breath and steeled his nerves. He heard many things about the dungeon from his familia and they weren't exactly pretty. While it may be a good paying job if you were an experienced adventurer, a total novice like Bell would hardly make anything. He knew he had to get stronger if he wanted to make a living out of this. His familia couldn't provide for him forever and he wanted to get stronger and stand on his own.

He made his way into the first floor of the dungeon and went off the main path to find some monsters. There weren't many adventurers around but he wouldn't make much if they had to share the monsters in that area. Once he thought that he was far enough away, the dungeon decided to prove him right as it started spawning a couple goblins for him to fight. He thought this would be a walk in the park considering how he had fought hundreds of them before and could now take them out easier considering the fact that he now has a falna. These 6 goblins would be nothing. A piece of cake. Not even a warm up… Oh how he was so wrong. The second they spawned the rushed at him faster than he had ever seen any before go. After slicing through the first one he also noticed that it took more strength than he usually used which meant one thing: holding back would most certainly kill him. Oh right, he was forgetting one very small detail: the land monsters he was used to fighting were far weaker than their dungeon counterparts.

Even though he was able to kill the first goblin, the others still rushed at him ready to slice him in half with their claws. While their claws weren't as sharp as a war shadows' claw would be, it would still hurt a lot. After a second of thinking on what to do he decided on the best course of action. Run like hell.

Okay that wasn't exactly the plan, at least that wasn't how he would tell it, but the dungeon decided to torment its prey and spawn in three more goblins to block his path and cut off his escape. Alright now would be a good time for a new plan. After weighing his options, he decided to attack the three goblins in front of him first and then turn around and deal with the remaining ones not too far behind him. He ran at them and slashed the lead goblin in two and watched it explode into excelia. Turning his sword, he repeated the process with the other two yielding the same results. After seeing the magic stones drop to the ground he turned around to deal with the remaining ones before more could spawn.

While turning around to deal with the other group, the first caught one up and before he could react it slashed its claws at Bell and left a gash down his forearm. By now a second goblin had caught up and slashed at Bell's side leaving three cuts behind. Bell, not wanting to get hurt again, found an opening and cut the two goblins in half with one swing of his sword. 'Alright, that hurt! Okay. 6 down, 3 to go. Come on, I can do this!' He thought to himself.

Seeing that the 3 remaining goblins were charging him together he quickly thought up a new plan. He reached for one of his spare knifes and threw it at one of their eyes which stopped it so that it could scream in pain. He did the same with the second knife but it missed the eye and just grazed it. Crap. It only stopped it for a second but that was enough time for Bell as he quickly made short work of the remaining one and went after the second one killing it as well. The last goblin had barely gotten ready to fight as Bell's sword cut straight through it.

'Oh gods finally! Why was that so difficult? Guess I'm too used to the surface ones being weaker and slower. It didn't help that they were usually in packs of three and not a whole group. Oh looks like the dungeon wants to test me more.' He thought to himself as he heard the oh so comforting sound of the dungeon birthing new monsters.

'I'm not going to drop my guard now. If I do that I die. Now. Come at me you ugly bastards!' "HAAAAAA!" He shouted as he did the charging.

….

"Here you go. 5,000 valis." The teller said handing Bell his hard earned valis.

"Thank you very much." Bell said as he put his valis away.

'Thank the gods Eina gave me a few healing potions. Things would've gone a lot worse if I didn't have them' He said while remembering how he got a pretty nasty cut from that kobold. 'I have got to be more careful. Oh what will everyone say if they found out I was having trouble on floor 3?' He thought as he imagined everyone laughing at him if they found out.

Once he was back home for the night he decided to get a status update from Loki so that he wouldn't suffer as much as he did. All he had to do was find her. Easier said than done. She wasn't in her office, nor her room, nor the kitchen. Where could she have gone?

"EEEEEEEEEP!" A scream could be heard down the hall.

"Come on Lefiya! I'll give you a great massage! You seem tense so let me help you out!"

"NOOOOO!" The girl screamed again before a loud 'SMACK' could be heard from the restroom. Not a second later Loki appeared as if being blasted by a powerful spell and was sent through the door. No scratch that maybe, she definitely got blasted by magic.

"Hmmm! No fun!" She whined, her plan to feel up her child being stopped. Poor Lefiya, who knows how long she's had to put up with this.

"Uhmm, goddess Loki?" He hesitantly asked.

"Huh? Oh, kid. Back from the dungeon?" She asked quickly composing herself.

"Uh yes. I was hoping you could update my status for tonight?" He responded.

"Yeah, come on. This way." She said happily leading the way as if she didn't just try to assault her poor familia member.

After reaching her room she told Bell to strip again and Bell forgetting what she meant panicked again. Man, she loved seeing him freak out again. It was entertaining for her. He reluctantly told her about his day and she had to stifle a laugh and ultimately failing and ended up laughing at his pain. She wasn't trying to be too mean it's just she's used to hearing how her members would almost die on the lower floors on expeditions so hearing how he almost died on the first floor was a complete shock to her.

"Is it really that funny to you goddess?" Bell asked embarrassed about what happened.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'll stop now." She said after calming down.

"Ho? Your status went up quite a bit Bell." She informed him when she was done and handed him his status sheet.

Bell Cranel

Human

Strength: I 0 - I 25

Defense: I 0 I - 20

Dexterity: I 0 - I 18

Agility: I 0 - I 20

Magic: I 0

"Is this a good jump? It doesn't seem like much goddess." Bell said sadly.

"Don't get too upset right now Bell. It's really easy to gain excelia when you first start but now you'll start slowing down as you gain more stats." She informed him.

"Oh well that sucks. There's nothing I can do to prevent that?" He asked.

(Simple. Just get a skill bro.)

"Nope. Just learn to live with it." She said.

"Alright. Well, I'm off to bed. Goodnight goddess." He said while leaving her room.

"Night."

Small timeskip.

"Take this!" Bell shouted as he quickly made short work of the remaining kobolds. He had been an adventurer for 3 weeks now and quickly got the hang of it. Now he's making short work on the way to floor 6. He may be pushing his luck but he had heard of the war shadows on the 6th floor and wanted to see what he looked like. Finn and Gareth had been teaching him a couple times the first week before they left for their big expedition. They were planning on going to floor 59 and it was his job as well as some others that didn't go to keep earning money for the familia.

'So this is the 6th floor? It looks and feels different. It's like the dungeon is trying to intimidate me.' He thought to himself as he surveyed the area. 'Okay. Kill a war shadow or two and then go back because I might be biting off more than I can chew. This'll be easy.'

"Rrrroooooarrrrr!"

"AAAAAAHHHH!" Bell yelled as he hauled ass out of there.

'ME AND MY BIG MOUTH! THAT'S NOT A WAR SHADOW AT ALL! WHAT'S A MINOTAUR DOING ON FLOOR 6?!' Safe to say that he was panicking a lot. I mean, who wouldn't? You go to a new floor to fight a new monster and suddenly an enemy a whole level stronger than you shows up? His luck couldn't get any worse.

Oh look, it's the war shadows Bell was oh so looking forward to fight blocking his retreat. 'WONDERFUL!' He shouted internally.

'Why? What's going on? Come on Bell think! Think! How am I supposed to get out of this one? I either fight that whole group of war shadows or take on this single minotaur.'

"Rrrroooooarrrrr!" It roared again.

'WAR SHADOWS IT IS!' He thought while deciding to run from it.

They looked at Bell ready to fight. They were excited for a new kill. Then they saw the minotaur chasing after him and did the only logical thing for a monster to do. They ran as well.

'COWARDS!' Bell cursed them while also being a hypocrite. He was running too. Looks like he forgot that fact.

Right as Bell thought about running again the minotaur swung it's landform axe at him forcing him to duck under its swing. He decided he had to fight it or at least injure it so that he could run. After quickly saying a prayer to whoever was listening he rushed at it to try to cut it whit his sword, only for it to make a complete stop as it hit the minotaur's body. Oh right, minotaurs have tough bodies. It's pretty hard to cut them and him being a level one with a weak sword against the huge bulky minotaur couldn't be a worse possible match up.

Even though it was completely useless to keep fighting he wasn't going to give up so easily. He would keep fighting till he died. Maybe someone would show up and help him take it down. All he needed was someone to back him up and together they'd be able to take the huge beast down. He just had to hope someone would help.

Shing!

"Huh?" Bell said confused.

"Huh?" The minotaur copied also confused.

Right as Bell had readied himself for another go with the minotaur the sound of steel grinding could be heard and all of a sudden there was a sword that was poking through the minotaur's chest. Enraged the minotaur turned around to fight whoever interrupted its kill only for its head to be cut off by the same sword.

Right as the body fell and exploded into excelia, Bell saw his savior. It was a beautiful woman with long golden hair and the same golden eyes. It was the 'Sword Princess', Aiz Wallenstein. Did he forget to say she was beautiful? Because she was.

"Are you hurt?" She asked him.

"Uh, no. I'm fine thank you." He told her.

"Are you sure? I heard the fighting and ran over here." She asked again.

"Ye- yes, I'm fine. I promise. Just a little shaken up. Thank you miss Wallenstein." He said nervously thanking her.

"You're the new adventurer in our familia right? Bell, was it?" She asked.

"Yes, miss Wallenstein. My name is Bell Cranel. We have met a few times when Finn and Gareth were training me." He said hoping that she remembered him from then and not remember him as a helpless adventurer now.

"Hm. I remember." She said nodding her head. "And its Aiz." She added.

"Huh?" He asked

"Call me Aiz. Everyone does it." She said.

"Oh uhm, okay Aiz." He said slightly embarrassed at using her first name. Was he blushing? Curses.

"Oi did you get that last minotaur Aiz?" A gruff voice asked from around the corner.

"Mhm. It was attacking Bell here. I stopped it before it could kill him." She informed him.

"Eh? Oh the newbie. The hell are you doing down here?" Bete asked him. Bell wasn't particularly fond of Bete as he didn't like his attitude. To be fair, no one did.

"I was just exploring a new floor when that beast was the first thing that welcomed me here." He replied.

"Huh. Well that's that. I'm going home." Bete said making his way to the 5th floor.

"Home? Are you guys done with your expedition? I thought it would have taken a lot longer." Bell asked Aiz.

"Mm. No. There was a new species that spits acid down there and we lost a lot of supplies so we had to call it off and retreated back. We're all okay." She informed him.

"Oh that sounds scary. Well at least everyone is all right." He said.

"Hey Aiz, are the are all the minotaurs dead yet?" A voice said.

"Yes Tione. They're all dead." She told the amazon.

"That's good. Oh? Bell. What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"Eh uhm, well. I was exploring a new floor when that minotaur showed up." He told her.

"Wait what?! How are you still alive?" She asked slightly panicked.

"Uhm, luck?" He asked.

"There's no such thing as luck Bell. Only your skills. Seems you can survive a minotaur attack. Maybe you'll kill one next time." An approaching voice joked.

"Oh, hi Finn. Well, I hope I can. Don't plan on dying anytime soon." He said.

"That's good to hear. We're heading back up to the surface. Want to join us?" He asked him.

"Uh, sure. I've had enough excitement for one day." He replied.

On their way up there were hardly any monsters. The only monsters there were just instantly killed by the executives rushing up to see the surface again. On their way there they were asking Bell on how things were back in Orario and how the rest of the familia was. They in turn told him a few things that happened on the lower floors. Once they made it up there everyone split off to do their own things. Some went home to rest, some went to the exchange to collect their rewards, and the rest went off to do their own thing. Bell went with the group that went to exchange their magic stones.

"This will be 8,000 valis." The teller said giving Bell his hard earned reward.

"Thank you so much." Bell said putting the stones away.

"That will be 80 million valis. Please give us a few minutes to clear things up." Another teller told the group.

"Hmmm. Not as much as usual." One of the adventurers said.

"Can't help it guys. We weren't there long and lost a lost of equipment and stones." Raul had informed them. "Yeah, we know." The others groaned.

Bell on the other hand went pale upon hearing how much they made. 'And this was less than their usual amount?' He asked himself.

"How much did you make Bell?" Raul asked him.

"Eh, uh, uhm. 8,000." He said depressingly.

"Huh? Wow. 8,000 from floor 5 in one day? Not bad Bell." Raul told him.

"You say that but you just made 80 million and said it was less than usual." He told him.

"Ehehe, don't worry about that. It's all a matter of perspective. We're high-level adventurers of course we make a ton. But earning 8,000 as a rookie is really good. I know I could never make that much myself when I first started." He said trying to cheer him up.

"Is that true?" He asked.

"Yes, don't worry about it. Go on home it looks like This will take a while." Raul told him.

"Alright. See you guys later." He said as he took off.

"Bell?" He turned around and saw his advisor. She was a bit confused as she usually never saw him until later in the day. He walked up to her to say hello.

"Decide to call it an early day today?" She joked.

"Actually yeah. Seeing a minotaur on the 6th floor will do that to you. I don't want to push my luck to much." He answered honestly.

"Mhmm. Mhmm. Yes it's always better to play it safe."

"…"

"A MONOTAUR ON FLOOR 6?!" She screamed at him.

"Yes!? It was a freak accident and I'm alright. Aiz saved me." He said blushing.

"Aiz? Aiz Wallenstein? The Sword Princess? Good thing she was there to save you." Eina told him.

"Yeah. Aiz and the others were coming back from an expedition as you can see." He said pointing to his familia.

"Ah I see. Say, Bell. You've been referring to her as 'Aiz' haven't you? Already at first name basis Bell? How bold." She joked hoping to get a reaction out of him. She did.

"Eh! Uh! It's not- I mean- Ahh!" He stuttered out.

It was well known to Eina that he started to fancy the sword princess and today just took those feelings to new heights. If he wasn't in love with her before he was now. Bell wanting to not be embarrassed anymore just took off without looking back.

To take his mind off that he thought back to when he heard Raul's encouraging words. He didn't think Raul would lie to him and he was an experienced adventure who praised him so Bell thought he was doing a pretty good job. He was in a great mood until…

?

'What was that?' He asked himself 'It felt like someone was staring into my soul. He checked over his shoulder, behind him, around him and even on the rooftops but nothing. 'Did I imagine that?'

"Excuse me?" A voice asked.

"Huh?" Bell looked at the source of the voice and found a pretty girl with silver hair and the same silver colored eyes. She was around his height, just a tad smaller than him. She had a 'girl-next-door' vibe with her.

"Uhm me? What can I help you with?" He asked her.

"You dropped this earlier." She said as she handed him a magic stone.

'Did I drop it on the way to the exchange? I could've sworn I tied my bag pretty good. It doesn't look like she's lying so I guess I'll take it.'

"Guess I did. Thank you very much." He said as he placed the stone in his bag.

"You're an adventurer, right?" She asked.

"Yes, I am. I just came back from the dungeon." He responded.

"Oh. How is it?" She asked.

"It's nice although I can do without the almost dying part of it." He joked.

"It sounds fun." She smiled.

"Oi Syr! Quit flirting and get back to work!" Someone explained from inside the tavern behind her.

"Coming! Well I have to get back to work. How about you stop by later and we can talk more?" She asked hopefully.

"I'll see if I can." He said. She smiled even more as she went back to work.

After making his way home he dropped his things off in his room and set off to look for Loki. He found her in her room drinking alcohol. 'Isn't it a little early for that?' He thought to himself. He asked her for a status update and she went from drunk to sober in 2 seconds. (Is it possible to learn this power? Lol)

"Hmm. This is?" She mused out loud.

"What is it goddess?" He asked her.

"Eh don't worry about it Bell. All done." She responded as she wrote down his status.

Bell Cranel

Human

Strength: I 99 - H 120

Defense: I 48 - I 60

Dexterity: I 98 - H 115

Agility: H 190 - G 200

Magic: I 0

"Hey my agility went up to G! That's good right?" He asked Loki.

"Mhmm. That'll happen when you're running from a minotaur. Finn told me all about it when they got home. If you ask me you should be working on your defense, I mean look at it! It's the only one still at I." She told him.

"Yeah, I know. I just don't like getting hit much." He said.

"That's understandable. Why don't you get better armor? I mean you should have some money saved up. How much you got?" She asked.

"Well, I have been making great money but Naaza keeps making me buy things." He whined.

"Yeah, but you let her." She said slightly upset with him.

"Yeah, I know. She's very intimidating." He responded.

"Well, I say go window shopping. You never know what you may find." She told him.

"Hey goddess, there's some ink on my skill slot. Do you know what that is?" He asked.

"Oh, my bad. I spilled a bit of ink. Still tipsy over here." She said while downing another bottle of alcohol. 'You don't say.'

"Well, I'm off. I promised to meet someone later." He said as he took off.

She smiled as she saw him off. Then that smile immediately disappeared as she looked at his status sheet he left behind. She picked it up and revealed the rest of the ink which read:

Realis Phrase

Rapid Growth

Continued desire results in continued growth

Stronger desire results in stronger growth

Just what the hell was this skill? She went off to Finn's office to talk to talk to him about this. She would also have to find Gareth and Riveria to let them know too.

"Oi Finn. We need to talk." She said as she kicked his door open.

"Loki I've asked you to please not do that anymore." He said with a sweat drop. Raul and Aki were there informing him how much they made got from the exchange.

"Raul. Aki. Go find Riveria and Gareth and send them over. We need to talk." Loki ordered her members away. After a few minutes they showed up asking what was going on.

"It's about the kid." Loki stated.

"What about him?" Gareth asked.

"Take a look." She said as she set down his status sheet. After taking a look they were surprised to see he had a status at G already. That was until they saw his skill. That made their eyes buldge.

"Stronger growth? What does that mean?" Finn asked.

"I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see." She said. They would be lying if they weren't anxious to see what would happen.

"Now come on! We have a tavern to drink down!" She said remembering their tradition to go out and eat and drink the night away.

…..

At said tavern, Bell was studying the place and noticed it looked more alive right now than when he saw it in the afternoon. It had a relaxing nature that allowed everyone to eat and drink and talk the night away.

"You made it!" The silver haired woman said walking up to him.

"I said I would didn't I? Oh by the way I didn't introduce myself last time. My name is Bell Cranel. Nice to meet you." He said.

"Syr Flover. Likewise." She smiled.

After leading him to a seat at the bar she took his order and went to drop it off with the cook. Bell just sat there waiting and admiring the atmosphere of the bar and let out a small smile.

"So you're the adventurer Syr reeled in? Got to say you're kinda cute." The dwarf behind the counter said. 'Dwarfs are usually small aren't they? Then why is she so tall? Is she really a dwarf?' He questioned himself.

"Here you go." She said dropping off some his food.

"Uhm wait. I didn't order this." He told her.

"Nonsense. A growing boy needs to eat. Now eat away!" She said as she dropped another plate on his table. 'Did I even bring enough valis? Wait. "Reeled in?" I was set up from the beginning!' Dammit Syr! Speaking of the devil…

"How's the food?" Syr asked.

"It's great." He said while slurping up all the noodles.

"Forgive me. But it looks like I'll be making a lot of money tonight!" She said.

"Wonderful." He said. He's gotta admit, the food was very good.

As he continued eating in a sour mood he heard a waitress announce a group in and saw his familia enter. While they were making their way in one of them pointed to where Bell was and Finn motioned for him to join him. Loki had told him and the other two that she hadn't told him of his skill and they were to try and find out how he got it without letting him know he had one. That might be a bit hard.

Once Bell made his way there he sat next to Finn and Gareth and watched as Gareth and Loki had a contest to see who could drink more alcohol. After 20 mugs later they had to stop so that other customers could have some. The twins were arguing about something, who knows what anymore. Riveria and Aiz were talking about another upcoming expedition while a pink elf just stared at Aiz and if you looked hard enough you could see hearts flowing out from her. So all in all, everything was normal. Except for one thing: Bete. He was unnaturally quiet the entire time. Normally he'd be yelling and having a good time or just start berating someone. But never quiet. He decided to speak up now

"Oi. What is this guy doing here?" Bete said pointing at Bell

"Because he is our fellow member, Bete." Finn said.

"Alright new question. Why the hell is he here? He's just a weakling. Let me tell you all a story so listen up. So, we were all coming up on the 17th floor and all of a sudden there's this stupid minotaur party that start running from us up the up the path to the 16th floor. We had to chase them up and we were all tired too. Sometime later it's the last one tormenting a helpless adventurer on the 6th floor. This dumbass right here tries to attack it and his sword just bounces off his body! He's so damn weak! Can you believe it? It bounced off! HAHA!" He said while laughing at poor Bell. Some of the others laughed along with him. "He had to be saved by our Sword Princess here." He added.

Bell was understandably upset. But what could he do? There wasn't much he could do or say to the level 5 executive. If he tried anything that would just set Bete off and make him want to attack him.

"Knock it off Bete. It was our fault that the minotaurs escaped. If you all had followed my orders and taken the fight seriously we would've killed them all before something like this could happen." Finn told him hoping to diffuse the situation.

"Eh? I'm just calling trash, trash! What's wrong with that?" He yelled.

"That's enough, Bete. You're making the alcohol taste bad." Loki told him threateningly.

"Shut up. He's weak, that's that. He had to be saved by our Sword Princess. What a freaking loser. He's pathetic! Hey Aiz, who would you choose between him and me? It's obvious who you'd choose. You can't accept a weakling like him. You could never accept that!" He finished.

Bell just sat there taking it all in. He was too upset to say or do anything. The twins decided to take action and tie up Bete and hang him from the ceiling for disturbing the party and being too loud. Everyone just sat back and watched it happen and had a really good laugh about it.

"Hey, where's Bell?" Someone asked looking at Bell's empty seat.

'Dammit. Dammit! Dammit!' Bell thought to himself as he kept running. After a few minutes he found himself back on floor 6. This time though, he wasn't going to run. He was tired of running. He knew he should calm down and do back home but he was so upset that all he wanted to do was vent his frustration on the dungeon. He wasn't mad at Bete; he was mad that he was right. He was weak. That's why he almost died the first day. That's why he almost died to that minotaur. That's why he ran that night. He was tired of being weak. He didn't want to run away anymore. He wanted to get stronger. He needed to get stronger. How was he supposed to be an adventurer if he was weak? How was he supposed to be with Aiz? Bete was right, Aiz couldn't waste time on a weakling like him. He needed to get stronger to stand by her side. If he wasn't strong, how could he be a hero like his grandfather wanted him to?

The dungeon, as if responding to his wish, spawned in the very monsters that Bell was hunting for earlier: the warshadow. It spawned in a group of them ready to kill him. He wasn't going to let them do it so easily.

'I'll do it. I'll do it! I'll do it!' He thought to himself as he started slicing through the war shadows with his trusty sword. The status update from today helped immensely and now that he finally adjusted to it he could kill the monsters easier. The dungeon not wanting to give up spawned in more of them for him to fight.

"AAGHHH!" He screamed from the depths of his heart.

"…"

While Bell was cutting through the war shadows and kept pressing onwards, our resident sword princess was watching him not to far behind. She hadn't done anything to stop Bete from insulting him and worse when Bete had asked his question she hadn't done anything either and hurt him even more. She already wanted to apologize to him for almost letting that minotaur kill him and now when she could've repayed him she hurt him even more. She was the only one who saw him leave and followed him. She still wanted to apologize but knew that now wasn't the time. He was too busy venting his frustration too even notice her. She stayed behind to watch over him. She couldn't apologize to him just now but she wasn't going to let him die either. He had reminded her of herself from a time long ago. She remembered how she used to be and how similar the old her was to Bell. He made her dream about her parents and for that she wasn't going to let him die.

'Do your best. And please don't die.' She thought to herself as she whacked a war shadow with her sword.

…..

Loki right now was panicking and pacing in the front of the manor. Her newest member had gone missing. Sure, it had only been a few hours, and time was irrelevant to a divine being like her, but that didn't mean she wouldn't worry.

Just as she was about to bolt off and get Finn to look for him the guards gasped and when she turned around she screamed. Right in front of her was said missing member covered in deep gashes and blood. His outfit was torn up, above his right eye was a cut so bad that he had to keep it shut so blood didn't get in his eye, and his trusty sword was on its last legs. All in all, he looked dead.

"You dumbass! Were you in the dungeon?! With no armor? What were you thinking?" She yelled at him. She loved seeing her members push themselves but most importantly she wanted them alive. So seeing her newest member looking practically dead wasn't a fun sight.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"Someone go get Riveria and some potions!" She yelled to the guards.

As they were rushing off Bell almost fell to exhaustion if Loki hadn't caught them. Right as she was about to lay another round of insults into him when he looked at her and stared into her eyes.

"Goddess. I want. To get stronger." He said with a smile brighter than the rising sun.

"…Alright" She said. She couldn't be mad at him when he smiled like that. Man, he sure was going to make her worry a lot more wouldn't he?

FINALLY! I'm sorry this chapter took so long. I rewrote the first part of the story so many times over the past few days. And when I got to the bar part I stopped a lot because even though I know it's important it doesn't mean I enjoyed writing it. I hope you enjoyed it and I'll start working on the next chapter.

Also RabbitHaremLover24 meet RabbitHaremLover 1 XD

And also I might be switching up the timeline a bit. Hope you don't mind.
