Look who's back! Back-okay I'm not doing that meme. I'm not that cringe. Yeah, this chapter took a while to finish. For plenty of reasons, writer's blocks and some personal issues, plus I am adapting probably one of the best parts of one of the best arcs of the series, yeah, it took a lot to get here. Lmao.
But I manage to finish it somehow, so let's enjoy it.
Okay, time for the reviews.
MemekingtheThird: I am proud of the work I did with Edge, especially since his start was the biggest challenge I had with this chapter. Trying to make him an imposing villain while also giving him some depth. While also having it be well written, which I think did with his beatdown of the classes and his speech. Those aspect were the parts that gave me the most trouble, but I'm happy to say that I think I did a good job with them.
Nero1002: You made some really good points here. I think I need to clarify what I was trying to do with Bakugo and how I kind of fumbled with his character in Redux.
Now I still tried to keep Bakugo the same as he did like from the main story, as an asshole to Deku. But I didn't realize it was more than that, as you mention Bakugo would refuse to be second fiddle to no one.
Now my intention with Bakugo in the moment you brought up was that he wasn't trying to give Deku a pep talk. It was more of him mocking Midoriya for all of his promises to beat him, he's getting his ass kicked.
But regardless of intent, I still fumbled. So I will take the L and admit, yeah, that was stupid. I will try repair that damage with this chapter and future stuff. So we can get the proper dynamic between both characters.
Now with that said, let's move onto the chapter.

A few minutes ago, in the blazing inferno of the burning city simulation, Rin, Ojiro, Manga, and Surriku are continuing their fight with the grunts, who haven't let off on their attacks.
"These guys really don't know to quit." Surikku said, with a large group of villains surrounding him and ready to pounce.
However, the villains wouldn't be allowed their chance to strike when Manga stepped in.
"Bang!" Manga yells out, and giant letters that look like the word "BANG!" pops up and hits a large number of villains, knocking them out like they are bowling pins.
However, Manga's enthusiasm isn't shared by all of the group. Ojiro delivers another powerful swing from his tail, knocking out yet another grunt who tried to rush him. But the young man is starting to grow sluggish. Even with backup, he's starting to waver with the waves of enemies, which seem to be endless.
"We can't keep going like this." Ojiro yells out.
Rin fires off another quick torrent of dragon scales at another mob of villains, knocking them all down with ease.
"Agreed. It will do our classmates and us nothing if we just stay here! Follow me!" Rin leads the group out
Ojiro delivers another kick to a villain, knocking out another villain before he turns his attention back to Rin and follows him. Manga and Surikku follow suit as well, both wanting to escape as well.
"You know how to get back?" Ojiro asks.
"Before I found you three, I located the main way back to the entrance." Rin said while he fires off another volley of scales into three other villains.
However, his classmate is a bit puzzled.
"How do you know that was the exit?" Manga asks.
"There were a lot of guards, and I quickly took care of them." Rin explains.
"Why didn't you leave then?" Surikku asks.
"No one is left behind." Rin said sternly.
"Then how do you know we are the only ones here?" Manga asks.
"The villains didn't mention any of our other classmates being here to try to taunt us or force us to surrender. And if they were here, the number of villains we were fighting would be much lower. And it wouldn't make sense to have a large group of students together if their mission is to kill us all. The fact there are four of us here is nothing short of lucky." Rin lays out his deductions to the group.
"Wow. Behold you two, Class 1 B's smartest and toughest guy. A Swiss Army Knife of badass." Manga is thoroughly impressed by his classmate's many skills.
"Focus, Manga! We aren't out of it yet. We are still in danger. Same with our classmates!" Rin said with urgency, as every moment passing could mean life or death for his classmates and the other students of One A.
"Gezz, man. It was just a compliment. Don't need to be Mr. Super Serious." Manga said, still trying to provide levity, trying to get Rin to loosen up. But Rin wouldn't loosen up, not yet, at least.
"Our classmates are in danger, Manga. Right now, that is our only priority." Rin remains laser-focused, not allowing himself a moment to relax. The teen has to save everyone, and nothing will distract him.
"Alright. Alright. No need to get snappy." Manga said defensively, not wanting to upset Rin, especially with the situation they are in.
However, the situation is about to take another massive step down. A villain stands on top of an upcoming building, no taller than three floors. The villain is watching the group of four from afar, ready to make his attack.
The villain, whose arms seem to be rocket launchers, aims at a nearby building where the students are about to come close.
"Bye-bye!" The villain launches rockets from both of his arms. The rockets zoom out of the villain's arms and reach a tall large building from the other street, which the four students are still at the midpoint of it on the road.
Rin notices the missiles all too late as they hit the building's center. The missiles do far more damage than expected as the infrastructure completely falls apart, and the building begins to fall on the group.
The four students look up, realizing they are about to get crushed if they don't do something fast. Not wanting to die, Manga uses his power.
"PUSH!" Manga yells out, forcing Rin forwards and out of the area where the building is about to collapse. While Manga, Surikku, and Ojiro are pushed in the opposite direction since they are behind Rin.
Rin rolls around for a bit before he manages to stop himself and quickly stands up. Rin quickly scans the area, locating where the rocket came from. Rin notices the villain on top of the third floor, who fires another rocket at the student.
However, Rin quickly dashes out of the way, avoiding the missile, which hits the ground and creates a massive crater.
But now Rin has the perfect chance to launch his counterattack. Rin fires off a massive torrent of scales at the rocket villain and, within seconds, reaches the villain and knocks him before he has a chance to escape or launch a counterattack.
Rin turns his focus back to the way he and the others are going to see if they are okay. But all he sees is rubble, which has completely blocked off the road.
"No…" Rin is trembling. He failed again. He was supposed to protect his classmates, and he failed them. The teen kneels to the ground, shaking as the guilt sinks in.
"I'm sorry..." Rin begins to tear up, feeling mortified and guilt written for failing the others.
"Rin! Are you okay?" Ojiro calls out.
Rin freezes when he hears Ojiro's voice before he quickly jumps back onto his feet.
"Guys, you're alive?!" Rin is relieved the other three are alive. He didn't fail them.
"Yeah. Ojiro and Manga got us out of the way before the building collapsed. But it looks like we aren't making the trip together." Surikku remarks, observing the destroyed building blocking the road, making it impossible for all of them to cross.
However, Rin wouldn't give up. He would not leave anyone behind.
"Hold on! I'll find my way back to you guys!" Rin yells back.
However, Ojiro recognizes the situation they are in. They have no real understanding of the location they are in, nor do they have the time to figure out the quickest way back. Therefore, there's only one of them who can go.
"No, Rin, you have to go!" Ojiro said.
"No! We all leave here!" Rin declares, determined to make sure everyone is going to make it out alive.
"Don't worry, Rin. Not like we'll lose to low-tier chumps." Manga adds on.
"I'm not leaving any of you! I'll find a way back around!" Rin yells out, firm on his refusal to leave anyone behind in this deadly situation, especially one of his classmates.
But Manga wouldn't budge either, knowing there is no other way. But he still kept up his fun demeanor.
"We can take these chumps, Rin! Like we have been doing for who knows how long! But right now, our classmates need you. They need a tough guy to get them out of whatever they are in right now. So please, don't be so stubborn!" Manga yells out.
Rin clenches his fit. He knows full well, Manga is right. Right now, Class One B could be in mortal peril right now and nothing good would happen if Rin remains in the burning city.
With heavy reluctance, Rin knows he has to continue his journey back to the main area. Therefore, the student begins his run to the main area, knocking back any villains standing in his path with his quirk. He looks back to the others, who are holding back the villains.
"I'll be back for you guys soon! Just hold on!" Rin yells back to his friends, reassuring them. And with his promise, Rin continues his journey, dashing across the street and almost at the front door.
"I'll be back, I promise! No matter what, no one is going to die today!" Rin thinks to himself, determined to make sure no one will hurt both his classmates and One A.
Rin races back to the main area, hoping he can still get there in time to save his classmates before anything grave could happen to them. Unknown to the student, the battle has changed greatly since his separation from his class.

Back in the main area, everyone is still taken aback by the arrival of All Might. When all hope was lost, when evil had a full grip over the students, their teacher and the Symbol of Peace stepped in.
"Thankfully Iida told me what was happening here while I was heading here. I'll make sure he gets the credit he deserves later." All Might thinks. But now, All Might knows what he has to do now. He has to deal justice.
All Might, clenching his fist in anger, throws off his tie and jacket away. "HAVE NO FEAR, STUDENTS...BECAUSE I AM HERE!"
The students at the front door start to cheer. Hope has returned.
"You're… you're here!" Uraraka said as her emotions completely overwhelmed her with hope and relief.
"Let's go! Go kick his ass, All Might!" Sato said, hyped up.
"DEFEAT THIS VILE MONSTER, ALL MIGHT! AND DEMONSTRATED WHAT A HERO IS!" Yudaina yells out, practically in tears.
One would think the arrival of the greatest hero in the world would strike fear, even into the hearts of the most deranged and vilest villains. But Edge isn't bothered by it. In fact, he is excited by it.
The villain has a small but noticeable smirk. With All Might here, it's his time now.
"So you're All Might! It's a pleasure to finally meet you." Edge calls out to the hero.
However, All Might doesn't respond to Edge, simply staring the villain down. The intense anger sharpens the hero's priority, his commitment to the defense of justice, and the innocent being stronger than ever with his eyes focus on the man he knows to be responsible for all of the student's suffering.
All Might, without a second thought, leaps into action and dashes towards Vicious Edge, planning to make quick work on the vile villain and take him out quickly.
However, Edge isn't going down with down without a fight and will make All Might suffer by any means possible.
"It's too late now!" Edge as he tosses the spikes with his full might toward Midoriya to ensure he kills the student before All Might could ruin his fun. Edge made sure to secure his kill by launching six spikes at Midoriya. All Might notices the spikes and changes his course, heading towards Midoriya to save him. But the spikes are going to reach Midoriya before All Might will.
Midoriya knows full well he can't outrun the spikes, so he would have to take a chance to dodge and hope to be lucky if the spikes all miss him.
Midoriya then ducks, trying to avoid the attack. However, he is still in the path of an oncoming spike, with it getting closer and closer to him.
But before the spikes could hit the young man, Midoriya is pushed out of the way by two purple chunks, pushing Midoriya far away from the spikes.
All Might grabs Midoriya before the student hits the ground, holding the young man in his arms. The hero looks upon his pupil, and a great shame is thrust upon the hero. His successor, but more importantly, the boy who looked up to him above all else, battered and bruised with his arms broken.
"I'm sorry, Midoriya..." All Might frowns, ashamed he failed his student.
But then Midoriya looks into his master's eyes, and upon seeing his master, the young man's smile returns.
"You're here..." Midoriya mutters out, fill with the same hope and relief every time he sees his hero. Now happy, knowing everyone else is going to be okay because All Might is here.
All Might nods, confirming he will protect everyone and deal with the vile villain who caused this suffering. All Might gently places Midoriya onto the ground, needing to go deal with Vicious.
"Everything is going to be alright. Just hang tight." All Might said confidently and calmly, the same reassurance he gives to everyone he saves.
Midoriya smiles, feeling calm now and knowing he and everyone else will be fine now.
All the while, Edge is confused about his attack missing Midoriya.
"No way could that kid dodge my attack? How did he...?" Edge ponders, but he realizes Miodirya had help. The villain glances at Tokage, she launched two chunks of her body from her stomach area, which then returns to her. But the teen is still gripped by fear, especially with Edge laying his eyes upon her again.
The villain smirks at Tokage, amused the teen still has the slightest bit of courage left to stop him. Edge will enjoy breaking it.
"Looks like I need to teach you a few more lessons." Edge said.
Tokage recoils, crying again, afraid of what Edge will do to her for stepping in his way.
But before Edge could retaliate towards Tokage, he feels All Might coming towards him by the change in the air pressure, he knows a strong attack is coming. The villain dodges to the right, avoiding All Might's strike. But now, the villain has the perfect chance to strike All Might.
"Got you!" Edge thinks to himself as he pulls out six spikes from his hands and is about to lodge them into All Might's stomach.
But All Might wouldn't allow the villain the chance to strike. All Might tries to backhand Edge. Edge bends backward, evading the attack.
All Might brings his hand back around, clamping into a fist and moving at fast speeds to strike at the villain to KO him in one hit.
However, Edge tosses himself to the right and rolls away, dodging the strike, which creates a small crater in the ground he was standing on. But fear hasn't taken over Edge yet. Not scared by All Might's strength, but also one other thing, a key value he has seen in most of the heroes he fought.
"Even after I broke your students, you still don't want to kill me?" Edge mocks the hero for holding back.
However, All Might doesn't take the bait. The hero has seen so many times how villains would play on the emotions, trying to get the hero to lose control and slip off. But All Might remains focus. His two goals remain clear in his head. Save the students and defeat the villains.
"No matter what villain, you won't escape here. Neither will your cohorts." All Might said, holding back his disgust at Edge's pure evil and sadistic nature.
However, Edge isn't scared. The villain has a massive smile on his face, his chance to achieve his dream stands right in front of him. And he isn't going to waver. The same cannot be same for his buggy teammate, however.
Sludge Bug flies down to his teammate and hides behind the villain, completely terrified by the arrival of All Might.
"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?! EDGE AND SLUDGE BUG CAN'T BEAT ALL MIGHT?!" The bug villain panics, terrified by the arrival of the Symbol of Peace and the anger that could be seen on his face.
However, the villain just pats Sludge Bug, comforting the bug like he is a pet who needs comfort from its master.
"Oh, don't worry. Nothing is going to happen, buggie." Edge reassures his bug colleague, his confidence hasn't broken yet, even with the Symbol of Peace staring him down.
"You mean it?" Sludge Bug asks.
"Yes. Now let me handle the big guy." Edge takes a few steps forward, confident he will win.
Both the vile villain and champion of peace lock eyes with each other, though both have different looks. All Might still grits his teeth, still enraged at what Edge did to the students. Very few have ever upset All Might in a way where the hero felt a personal hatred towards them. Of course, there were villains All Might found to be disgusting and vile, normal for his line of work and in his long career. But seeing the aftermath of what Edge did to the students and the sick joy the villain took from his actions, it made All Might all the more determined that he would bring Edge to face his crimes.
But for Edge, he's enjoying every moment, smiling as now he gets to enjoy the rage All Might has at this moment. But Edge also the prospect in front of him. He has the chance to take the Symbol of Peace down and bring hopelessness and suffering to the whole world. But first, he wants to have his fun with All Might.
"So you are the Symbol of Peace? And you are the teacher for these students?" Edge asks the Symbol of Peace, trying to start a conversation. However, All Might isn't in the mood to talk, especially with someone like Edge. But he wants to try and reason with the villain, seeing the students need help right now, and he doesn't want to waste another moment.
"Surrender now, villain. It's all over for you." All Might powerful voice echoes across the area, trying to scare the villain.
However, Edge isn't going to budge.
"Low-quality fighters for a place like UA. And especially with you as their teacher. They broke a lot faster than I thought they would." Edge mocks the hero, trying to get under the hero's skin. However, All Might wouldn't let loose, he knows what Edge is trying to do, and he wouldn't play into his hand.
"There's no purpose in fighting anymore. If you surrender now, I promise you and your cohorts will be treated with respect." All Might offers a deal to the villain. However, the hero feels disgusted in doing so, seeing Edge as someone who should be dealt a strong punishment for his deeds. But he still wants to try to reason with the villain to avoid any more fighting.
But Edge isn't one which anyone can reason.
"But you want to deal justice, don't you? Especially for all these children. Especially those two green students there. Oh, they were so fun. One a pathetic little girl and the other a boy who wants to play the hero." Vicious Edge taunts All Might, trying to stoke the emotions of the hero and trick him into making a mistake.
All Might grits his teeth, Edge's sadistic and deprave nature wouldn't break the hero's focus, but he knows now Edge cannot be reasoned with. He needs to bring him the old fashion way.
"What do you get from all this?" All Might asks while he goes in for another strike.
But Edge once again dodges, jumping back far from the hero. But he uses this chance to launch a counterattack, tossing out six more spikes toward the hero.
But All Might dodges the spikes, jumping to the side, then he charges towards Edge to deliver another blow.
But Edge managed to land on the ground in time, which provided him the chance to launch himself away from All Might, dodging another blow from the hero.
Edge then lands back on the ground, where he now has an answer to All Might's question.
"The same thing you get from your job. Fun." Edge retorts.
All Might clench his fists tightly, reaching his maximum fury without losing control. But Edge is pushing it with his sadistic nature on full display.
"Fun? You think this is fun!?" All Might yells out in complete disgust at Edge's inhumanity.
"Of course. To bring suffering and pain to the innocent, to break down the prideful, to instill fear, it never grows boring. Especially with the young, like the students. In fact, I think it's time to bring the students back in." Edge smiles.
Edge wouldn't play fair. He knows he cannot defeat All Might in a fair fight. But he wouldn't need to. All he would need to do is exploit the hero's kindness and heroic nature.
Edge spots Kaibara on the ground on the right, who is still lying on the ground, a perfect target. Edge brings out six spikes and throws all of them at the young man.
Kaibara screams out in horror, feeling like his time is about to come and so early too. To die on your first week of being a hero, it's would be enough to make him cry if he isn't overwhelmed with fear.
"No, please, no. No! I don't want to die!" Kaibara in a panic thought, fear fully controls the student.
But he wouldn't die today, as All Might dashes over to Kaibara to save him. All Might grip Kaibara by his chest and yanks him out of the way of the spikes. While the student's jacket is ripped apart, with a large chunk of coat remaining force stuck to the ground via the spikes which trapped him, it's better than the alternative, with the new hitting where his heart and lungs would have been.
Kaibara gazes upon the spike, holding his breath, in horror of the fact he was incredibly close to a slow and painful. But Kaibara's death wasn't Edge's intent. Instead, the distraction gave the villain a chance to finally do some damage.
All Might screams out, feeling incredible pain coming from his back. The spikes are lodged into the Symbol's body, much to the surprise of Edge.
"You are just tough as that Nomu. And like him, you'll fall before me." Edge gleefully said with a sick smirk. His trick gave him a chance to deal some damage to All Might. Now he's going to repeat it.
Edge turns his attention to Shoji, who is lying on the ground, still bleeding from the wounds left by the villain. The student is still shaking in pain, unable to move around without making the bleeding worse. And once more, Edge sees a defenseless student as another chance to get a strike on All Might.
Edge tosses three spikes at Shoji, no specific area. If the spikes hit the teen, the student will have more wounds and will likely die from them. And if All Might saves the student, another chance to deal damage to the hero presents itself. Either way, someone is going to be in a lot of pain.
Seeing the danger the student is in, he drops Kaibara, and All Might dashes over to Shoji, grabbing the student by his chest and moving him out of the way of the attack.
But once again, All Might feels a sharp pain, cringing as Edge slashes across the right side of All Might's body, leaving a large gash across it. All Might then tries to punch the villain, who has his back turned to the hero, providing a chance for All Might to knock Edge out.
However, Edge jumps out of the way, landing several feet away from All Might.
As soon as Edge lands back on the ground, he wastes no time as he turns his attention back to Tokage, wanting to repay the Tokage for saving Midoriya's life.
Edge jumps high into the air, staring down at Tokage, ready to bring more suffering to the teen. He breaks out another batch of spikes and throws them at the helpless teenager.
Tokage lets a terror filled gasp, thinking her end is near.
But then All Might kneels in front of the teen, with his arms raised, both blocking the attack from reaching Tokage but also keeping the strikes to just his arms and not any of his vital organs or head.
But even with the pain rushing through his body, All Might's commitment to justice and his values remained unchallenged. The villain would need to do more to break the hero's spirit.
All Might lowers his arms, so he can get a good look at Edge, who has now landed back on the ground with a sadistic smirk on his face. The villain enjoys every moment of the hero taking more and more damage to protect the students, even at the cost of his body.
A noble trait which most people would respect and admire. But for villains like Edge, a weakness he can use to his advantage.
"Quick on your feet, especially when it comes to these children." Edge cackles.
"Why are you doing this? They are just children!" All Might decries Edge's attempts to kill the students. All Might tries to punch the villain once more, but Edge continues to dodge his incredibly fast punches.
"Simple, really. If you solely focus on fighting me, you are going to lose a few students. And you aren't fast enough to get them all out of here at once. Even if you were, you would kill a few of them with the high force you would be going at. So you can't do anything."
With the reasons laid out, it becomes clear who is in control of the situation. Edge has All Might on the ropes, effectively stopping All Might from attacking, much to the horror of All Might.
"He's right. I can't battle him with everyone else here. They have to get out of here!" All Might thinks to himself
All Might then stops his attack and stomps loudly to grab the students attention.
"Get out of here, students! Go now!" All Might orders.
Heeding All Might's words, three students, Mineta, the pony girl, and the small lady with the red dress, begin to run back to the main entrance. However, they are the lucky ones, as they manage to avoid being hurt and are fully awake. In contrast, the rest of the students aren't so lucky, as they are either too injured, unconscious or both. A fact Edge is fully aware of.
"They can leave, it won't make a difference. I have more than enough of them to enjoy." Edge is completely unfazed and unconcern. Sooner or later, the students would be his playthings to break down and torture. For now, All Might would be his target.
Edge brings out another round of spikes, ready to repeat the process and to slowly tear down the Symbol of Peace.
But all the while, while he could have retreated, Kaibara isn't going to leave, not until he gets his friends safe and away from the battle. Kaibara first heads out to Tsuburaba, who is still bleeding and squirming from his wound on the ground.
"Tsuburaba! Come on, speak to me, buddy!" Kaibara kneels down to his friend. While Kaibara did try to comfort his friend, he himself is still a wreck, as panic and terror echo in his voice.
"My shoulder. It hurts so much…" Tsuburaba cringes from the hole in his shoulder, which is still bleeding out.
In an attempt to stop the bleeding, Kaibara uses what's left of his jacket and begin to wrap it around his friend's wound. With a tight tie, the jacket keeps pressure on the wound and greatly reduces the bleeding. Even if his jacket is ruined, it doesn't matter, right now helping his friends is his top priority right now.
"Can you stand up?" Kaibara asks.
"Yeah. It hurts, but I can do it," Tsuburaba said. Tsuburaba then forces himself to stand up, placing his hand to keep pressure on the wound.
"Alright. Stay close to me! Let's go grab Awase and get out of here!" Kaibara said urgently, wanting to leave the main battlefield quickly as possible.
With Tsuburaba following behind, Kaibara quickly dashes over to Awase, whose still suffering from his broken arm and spike in his side.
"Talk to me, dude! Are you okay?" Kaibara said to his friend.
"Well…except for the bleeding and being stabbed with a spike, I'm just fucking peachy!" Awase retorts back, somewhat annoyed with the question since it's clear he's not okay.
"HEY, I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP OUT HERE! YOU DON'T NEED TO BE SO RUDE!" Kaibara yells, irritated by the snarky comment.
"IT WOULD BE A BIGGER HELP IF YOU DID SOMETHING USEFUL!" Awase yells back, fueled by the stabbing pain in his side and his annoyance at his friend.
"FINE! IF YOU WANT THAT!" Kaibara yells back at his friend, frustrated by his friend's attitude but still committed to saving Awase.
"YEAH, DO RIGHT NOW, DIPSHIT!" Awase yells back, not taking any more of Kaibara's crap.
Kaibara wraps Awase's arm around his shoulder and helps his friend to stand up, though Awase's grunts in discomfort as the pain intensify with every step, as the spike still stabs him. But thankfully, Kaibara wouldn't give up on him, helping him to walk.
"Just hold on, guys! We are getting out of here!" Kaibara said as he and his two friends reached the stairs.
Kaibara helps Awase back up the stairs, with Tsuburaba following behind them. Despite their injuries and trauma, the three friends manage to escape the battlefield. But sadly, the other students left behind are trapped with no way to escape on their own or with the help of All Might. Someone would need to act quickly to save them before it's too late.
Back with the students at the front door, they watch in horror as the battle between All Might and Edge continue, how Edge is using All Might's good nature to harm the hero. And how they caused it.
"All Might is losing!" Mina begins to panic.
"How vile, using such a dishonorable tactic!" Yudaina said, angry at Vicious Edge.
"Yeah, how can he fight back if he is trying to protect our classmates!" Sato yells out, ticked off by Edge's dirty tricks.
But while the other students are panicking, Kendo is thinking about her responsible for this situation.
"I listened to Noburu and he got everyone hurt. If I had challenged him and tried to make a plan, we could have beaten Edge! And now, All Might and everyone are going to be hurt. It's all my fault." Kendo judges herself harshly, on the verge of tears.
But then, Kendo feels a hand grabbing onto her shoulder, which brings her back to reality.
Kendo looks back and sees Kodai.
"What do we do, class rep?" Kodai asks.
Kendo doesn't answer at first, instead looking at her injured classmates across the battlefield, returning to her thoughts.
"That's right... I'm Class One B's president. I was elected because they trusted me. I promised I would look out for all of them...and right now, they need me...and I won't let them down!" Kendo turns back to the other students with determination in her eyes.
"We are going to save our friends!" Kendo declared.
The students are caught off guard by Kendo's declaration, but Kendo would elaborate.
"Right now, Edge is using our teachers and classmates against All Might. So we need to get them out of there and let All Might handle that villain!" Kendo said, taking command of the situation.
"But we aren't strong enough to carry everyone up here. Especially Vlad King and Crust." Uraraka points out.
However, one of the students in the group who's quirk fits the situation at hand perfectly.
"Um. I think I can help…totally." Kemono pops in.
"That's right. You're quirk!" Kendo remembers Kemono's special power.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Uraraka asks, lacking knowledge of Kemono's power.
But Kemono would show her what he meant. He activates his quirk, and his body rapidly transforms into a much stronger form.
The teen's body grows, his body growing wider with stronger muscles and increased stature, making him even taller than he already was. His transformation isn't limited to just those features, as his skin begins to turn dark grey and his hair a lighter grey. The spikes protrusions on the top part of his arms, on the edges of his face, and on his fingers grow larger and more pronounced. But new spikes begin to grow as well, out of his knees, the back of his feet, elbows, and wrists.
Fortunately for the student, he has good clothes, which wouldn't tear because of his transformation. The clothes being black rubber pants and wrist pans, both having yellow accents to them.
Okina Kemono. Quirk: Transformation. The user transforms themselves into a powered-up form, providing increased strength, durability, and increase in size.
Upon seeing the power for the first time, Uraraka, Sato, Mina, and Koda are astounded by the incredible transformation.
"Woah." Uraraka, Sato, and Mina in unison.
But Kendo refocuses everyone's attention, as all of them still have a job to do.
"Uraraka, use your quirk to pick up as many as you can! Kemono and Sato, carry as many as you can!" Kendo orders.
"Alright!" Uraraka said with a determined look, ready to do her part to save her friends and classmates.
"You got it...totally." Kemono said
"I got your back!" Sato said.
Kendo then turns her attention to only people who didn't have a job.
"Kodai, Mina, and Koda tend to the injured we bring back. I know it won't be easy, but I trust you!"
Kodai and Mina respond with a determined nod, preparing to help out their friends. On the other hand, Koda is panicking, not knowing how exactly to tend to the wounded. But regardless, it's the job he has been assigned, and he must follow it.
"Alright! Let's go!" Kendo yells as she, Kemono, Uraraka, and Sato following run down the stairs, ready to help rescue their classmates from the battle.
"I handle everyone on the right. Uraraka and Sato, you got left! Kemono, since you are the strongest, you grab our teachers and Crust! Everyone understood?" Kendo orders out.
The other three students nod as they go their respective ways for the tasks at hand. All of them are determined to help their classmates and the teachers.
Kendo approach two Class 1B students, who are still lying on the ground unconscious. The two students, the girl with plant green hair and the boy who was a giant beast man before, returned to normal size. However, he's still incredibly hairy, even in his base form.
However, Edge spots the student, and he isn't going to let anyone take away his fun time so soon.
"None of you are going anywhere!" Edge yells out as he brings six more spikes and aims them at Kendo, refusing to let his toys leave him.
However, All Might dash over and grabs Kendo, and moves her out of the way of the incoming spikes.
"Get out, I can't fight him while you are all here!" All Might said, quickly letting go of Kendo so he could refocus on fighting Edge.
"I'm sorry, All Might. But you and my classmates need us! I promise we'll be out of your hair in a minute!" Kendo yells out.
Kendo, using her quirk, increases the size of her hands tenfold, allowing her to pick up both of her classmates, one in each of her hands as she carries them off.
All Might quickly glanced back at the student, thinking over what the student said.
"She's right. I need their help! I have to hold Vicious Edge off and keep him away from the students." All Might thinks to himself.
All Might spots Edge throwing another spike attack at another student, this time Bondo, who is still squirming on the ground. All Might speeds over to Bondo and stands in between the student and the incoming spike attacks.
To buy some time to protect the student and himself, All Might punches the ground, breaking the surface, which allows him to pick up a large chunk of it and use it to block Edge's attack. As soon as the spike hits the makeshift shield, All Might drop it and launches his counter-offensive to keep Edge busy long enough for the students to get everyone out.
Once more, All Might charges at the villain, and in response, Edge brings out another round of spike, ready to take the hero head-on.
While the hero and villain battle, Kemono begins to pick up the teachers and Crust. Thanks to the student's larger form, he is perfect for this situation, able to pull all three men on his wide shoulders. Vlad King and Eraser got his left shoulder, while Crust got his right. But he did make sure none of them hit his bone protrusions.
With the three men over his shoulders, Kemono jumps back to the entrance, where he gently places all four of the students on the ground, handing their care to Mina, Kodai, and Koda. The large student then hops away, going back to grab the others students. After Kemono left, Kendo, Uraraka, and Sato return to leave the six students they got onto the ground before the three leave to grab more of their classmates.
Mina, Kodai, and Koda begin to take care of the injured being dropped off. The three are working overtime, trying to tend to each student who has been injured, from minor to large, from something as simple as a minor bruise to gapping wounds and bleeding.
The students are doing their best, using whatever materials they have on hand to try and help their friends. For any open wounds, they used whatever piece of clean clothing as a bandage. For the spikes themselves, Mina uses her quirk to bring out a small bit of acid on her finger, and she slightly taps the spike, causing the top park to slightly melt and into a smooth dull form, which allows her to pull the spikes out.
Even some of the other students who manage to flee are helping, with Mineta and the other two Class One B students tending to the wounded. If they couldn't fight, they might as well help their friends.
However, Kaibara is only focused on his more injured friend, Awase.
The teen lies on the ground, still squirming in pain from his injuries, with Kaibara trying to do his best to help him. Firstly, he removes the spike from his friend by the use the very tips of his fingers, which have little metal covers on it which protect his fingers from being cut. Having removed the spike from his friend's side, Kaibara now has to both tend to the open wound and deal with the broken arm as well. Borrowing (or rather ripping apart) Tsuburaba's jacket, Kaibara uses the ripped clothing as a cast to hold the broken arm.
Having secured the arm, Kaibara rips off another large chunk of Tsuburaba's jacket, which didn't have any blood on it, and now uses it as a large makeshift bandage for Awase's wound.
Kaibara wraps the fabric around Awase's waist, tightly pressing on the wound to stop the bleeding, with a strong knot to keep the bandage in place.
"Did you really have to rip my jacket apart? I liked it." Tsuburaba is disappointed with a large part of his outfit destroyed. He was hoping to wear it in an epic fight with a villain, not as a bandage.
"Well, my jacket was already used on you, and there is nothing else here, so it was the best we got. Besides, UA will probably give us replacement outfits after all of this is over." Kaibara said.
"I guess so…" Tsuburaba said disappointed, enthusiastic he would have to get a replacement outfit already. Though he is still relieved with he and his friends are safe and with non-life-threatening injuries. And with Kaibara's treatment, it seems like both teens are going to be okay. Though it does raises an important question.
"Wait, how did you know to do all of this stuff, Kaibara?" Tsuburaba said, surprised by Kaibara's medical knowledge. Though, where Kaibara learned these techniques isn't exactly professional.
"I saw this stuff from a lot of TV shows, so I figured it would be worth a shot." Kaibara said.
However, this information didn't exactly bring out a positive reaction from Awase.
"YOU HAD MY LIFE ON THE LINE ON SOME SHIT YOU SAW FROM A SHOW?!" Awase furiously yells at Kaibara.
"HEY, IT WORKED, DIDN'T IT?!" Kaibara yells back, not appreciating Awase's ungratefulness for being saved.
"WELL, IF YOU ARE SO GOOD, HOW ABOUT YOU GO HELP OUR CLASSMATES?! HOW ABOUT YOU DO DOWN THERE AND HELP THEM?!" Awase yells out.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! I'M NOT GOING BACK DOWN THERE!" Kaibara yells.
"OUR CLASSMATES NEED YOU! YOU ARE JUST GOING TO RUN OUT OF THEM!"
"AND GO NEAR THAT VILLAIN AGAIN!? I LIKE BEING ALIVE, IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW!"
"YOU ARE A REAL FUCKING COWARD, KAIBARA!"
"THIS COWARD SAVED YOU AND TSUBURABA LIVES! I THINK I DESERVE SOME CREDIT!
"IF YOU AREN'T BRAVE ENOUGH TO GO SAVE YOUR CLASSMATES, THEN AT THE VERY FUCKING LEAST, HELP OUT THE ONES HERE!"
"FINE, IF YOU DON'T WANT ME HERE!"
"I DON'T!"
"OKAY!" Kaibara stomps away, going to help out the other students in whatever way he can. At the very least, get away from Awase for a few minutes so both of them can cool off.
Tsuburaba is not so impressed, though, not appreciating the hostile nature between his two friends.
"You know you could have said thank you before you yelled at him." Tsuburaba is trying to get Kaibara some credit since his friend did tend to his and Awase's wounds.
"Don't you start." Awase said sternly, he didn't want to argue with his friend, but he wouldn't give Kaibara credit because of his cowardly nature.
And for the sake of not starting another argument, Tsuburaba just lets it go and lets Awase be angry at Kaibara.
"Alright." Tsuburaba sits down next to Awase and watches the battle unfold between the
Meanwhile, Kendo and the rest of the students who help rescue the students drop off another load of their injured classmates, having gotten most of the students out of the battle. However, two of the students still remain stuck on the battlefield.
Tokage and Asui, due to the extra binding forced upon them by Edge and Sludge Bug, but Kendo already has a solution to the problem. However, she would need one person whose quirk is suited for this situation.
"Alright, Tokage and Asui still need our help! Does anyone here have a quirk that can break through that goop?" Kendo asks the students for anyone who would be willing to help her. And one hand did shoot up, with Mina waving it to get Kendo's attention.
"I can! My quirk can melt through anything!" Mina yells out.
"Good! I'm going to need you to melt Asui's bindings! Kodai and Kemono, you are going to help me with Tokage! You guys up to it?" Kendo asks the two students.
The two students respond with a nod, both willing to go back down there to help out their friends and classmates, not even a question or second thought in their minds. Truly, these students fit perfectly into what UA desires in their students and what is needed for one to be a hero.
"Follow me!" Kendo yells out, leading the charge to go save the last two students.
The four students then rushed down the stairs, trying to rescue their last two classmates quickly as possible. All the while, All Might continues to try and keep the Edge away from the students, continually striking and forcing the villain to dodge the attacks.
With the villain being held back, the students begin their plans to rescue Tokage and Asui. Mina heads over to Asui, while the other three students head over to Tokage, having discussed what the rescue plan will be for both students.
Kendo and the others arrive by Tokage's side, the orangette kneeling down to her classmate and friend, knowing Tokage needed a friend right now more than ever.
"It's going to be okay, Tokage. Just stay still." Kendo said, trying to keep Tokage calm. If Tokage moved too much, then her heart could be cut open by Edge's spike in her chest.
However, Tokage's emotions are already incredibly strong, with guilt and shame has taken over the young lady.
"Kendo, please, I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't know…" Tears streaming down Tokage's face, still feeling the guilt rushing through her. Tokage couldn't even look at her friend, ashamed of her grave mistake.
But Kendo is by her side, and she offers comfort to her friend.
"It's okay, Tokage. Just look at me." Kendo said with a calm voice, trying to relax Tokage.
(PAUSE)
Tokage looks at her classmate, still with tears in her eyes.
"Kodai is going to shrink the spikes down. And then Kemono will remove them, and we will get you out of here." Kendo lays out everything to Tokage.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry…" Tokage mutters.
"It's going to be okay. Just remain still. It's going to be okay." Kendo said with kindness in her voice.
Tokage weakly nods. All she can do is follow the orders of her classmate.
Kendo then turns to Kodai and says, "Do it."
Kodai nods as she clasps her fingertips together and activates her quirk.
Yui Kodai. Quirk: Size. By pressing all of their fingertips together, the user is allowed to alter the size of any nonliving thing.
With the power of her quirk, Kodai shrinks the spike down. Kemono then quickly grabs spike before it could fall into the large wound it presided in.
Not wanting to waste another moment, Kodai turns her attention to Tokage's right hand, clasps her hands together, and shrinks it. Kemono once more grabs the shrunk spike and tosses it aside. For the final time, Kodai repeats the process, Kemono removes the spike, and at last, Tokage is freed.
Now the next step of the plan begins as Kendo rips of parts of her outfit and begins to bandage the injuries Tokage sustained from her battle with Edge. Kemono lifts gently lift Tokage's body upwards. Kendo tightly wraps the cloth around Tokage's chest. Then around the teen's hands, doing her best to stop the bleeding from the large wounds.
But it's the only thing the students can do for their friend to help her until they can get her to a doctor.
Kendo and Kodai prop Tokage up and wrap her arms around their shoulders and begin to carry her back to the front door and to a safer location away from the vile villain who attacked her.
Asui wouldn't be forgotten about either, as Mina is doing her best to save the frog girl.
The pink student oozes acid from his hands, spreading it around the goop which bounds Asui onto the ground, though she is careful to remain distant from the frog girl's hands and feet to avoid damaging them.
The acid begins to melt the goop, going straight through it and reaching the ground, and slightly burning the surface. Mina repeats the process with Asui's feet as well, breaking down the binding and weakening them so Asui can have the chance to escape.
And it works, as the frog teen breaks all four of her limbs out of the goop, being free of the disgusting bindings.
However, Edge wouldn't allow the last of his playthings to leave him. Edge begins to sprint over to the two girls.
"You aren't going anywhere!" Edge yells out, bringing out another round of spikes.
Mina and Asui gasp, horrified by Edge's rapid approach toward them.
But once more, All Might speed in between Edge and the two students. All Might raises his fist once more and goes for another strike to hit Edge.
But Edge avoids the attack, jumping high in the air to avoid being hit by the hero.
"I'll get to you two later! None of you are safe from me!" Edge said, still trying to put fear into the students.
But right now, he has a bigger problem. He has to fight All Might solo without his dirty tricks. And All Might isn't going to play nice anymore.
Edge is forced back as All Might continue his offensive attacks. With no chance to attack the students or launch a counterattack, the villain has to play solely defensive to avoid being one-shotted by All Might. But even with his dire situation, Edge continues to smile sadistically.
(PAUSE)
"Such shame. These students were going to miss front-row tickets to your end!" Edge yells out, still trying to portray himself as being in control of the situation.
However, All Might isn't bothered by Edge's bluster, continuing on with his attacks, forcing Edge into a corner, unable to launch any attacks.
But Edge wouldn't be alone in his battle. As his associate, Dune finally awakens. The sandman pushes himself up back to stand, his mind shaking, courtesy of Crust's attack, though Dune's senses would be brought into sharp focus when he saw the fight going on.
The assassin witnesses his ally barely holding his own against All Might, with him strictly dodging and playing the defense.
"¿Que chingados ha pasado? (What the hell happened?)" Dune mutters to himself, letting his anger slip out, annoyed by his teammate for messing up the mission.
Dune tries to stand up, knowing he has to help his ally, regardless of what he is feeling toward Edge. But Dune isn't as mobile as when he tries to stand up, he feels his body hurting from his fight with Crust.
Despite the Dune's desire to fight All Might, he knows he cannot defeat All Might in his current shape.
But the sandman would get help, as Sludge Bug flies towards him to check on his teammate to see if he is okay.
"Dune, you live!" Sludge Bug is shock, but glad Dune is still alive.
"Sludge Bug, what happened?" Dune asks, annoyed with the plan falling apart.
"Well, Edge played dead, then you were beat up by the big guy, then Edge stopped the bird man, then the target was punched far away by some kid, then Edge hurt the students, then-." Edge lists off what has happened since Dune to get him up to speed. But the last part finally put Dune over the edge.
"He attacked those kids..." Dune said, holding back his rage at the villain.
"Yes! He said he wanted to have fun!" Sludge Bug answers.
Dune turns his full attention to Edge, who is barely holding his own against the Symbol of Peace, who is now beginning to let his punches hold more strength.
But as much as Dune would want to see Edge get pummelled by All Might, he couldn't leave Edge on his own. The moment Edge is defeated, All Might would come after him as well. He is in no shape to fight the Symbol of Peace. But he also wanted to deliver a proper punishment to Edge himself. So, for now, Dune still needs to help him.
"I'll deal with him later." Dune mutters.
"Dune, what are we going to do?! We can't beat him!" Sludge Bug panics, feeling the battle is now fully lost, and they are all going to be captured.
However, Dune didn't have time for the bug's panic state.
"Shut up! I'm trying to think!" Dune yells out, trying to think up a plan to turn the battle around. Dune begins to look around the field, trying to find something to give him an idea of what the next plan of attack should be for their team.
One thought did come to mind as Dune looks upon Nomu, who is still trying to escape from the binding Edge left it in.
Dune begins to walk over to the large villain, knowing fully well while it is a bad solution, it's the only one he could think of to save the mission and get what he was promised.
"Dune, what are you doing?" Sludge Bug asks the sandman, not understanding what Dune is planning to do with Nomu.
"First, we are going to finish this mission. Then I'm going to kill that bastard." Dune holds his anger back, knowing he has to focus on the mission, he'll deal with Edge later.
Dune walks over to Nomu, who is struggling to break free from the metal spikes that Edge lodged into it.
Dune kneels to the ground, right next to the beast's left hand. With both of his hands, Dune attempts to pull the spike out of the palm of the beast.
"That brat mentioned you could kill All Might. So now's your chance!" Dune says as he tries to get the spike out of the beast's hand.
However, the spikes are far too deeply lodged into the ground, making even nudging the spikes incredibly difficult. Dune continues to pull on the spike, refusing to give up. However, all of Dune's efforts are only awarded by the sharpness of the spike's side cutting through his gloves and opening a gash across his palms.
Dune recourses as he feels a sharp sting in his palms, but on instinct and through his training, the assassin knows what to do to treat the wound. The villain tears two large chunks of his scarf and wraps each of them on his palms to stop the bleeding.
With his wounds now handle, Dune focuses his attention back on Nomu, who still hasn't moved.
"That asshole still has to be a pain." Dune mutters to himself, frustrated Edge continues to make the job harder and harder for him in one way or another.
But before Dune can try again, he notices from the corner of his eye someone is crawling towards Nomu. Dune turns and sees the man he is ordered to kill.
Shigaraki is crawling towards his beast, hoping to release it as well.
But Dune realizes his chance has come, he can now finish the mission. The villain could kill the target, fulfilling his job, and get his pay. It would be a small detour in his goal to free Nomu, but it likely makes little difference with how much time he has left.
Dune now runs towards Shigaraki, pulls his sword out, and prepares to end the villain.
"No!" Shigaraki panics. He knows he can't fight back with his body broken. He is left open perfectly for Dune to kill easily.
But before Dune could land the strike on Shigaraki, a purple mist blocks Dune, creating a massive wall which the assassin cannot get pass.
Dune hops back to a safe distance, then he looks back to see who stopped him from finishing his mission.
Kurogiri stands between Dune and Shigiraki, and he wouldn't let anyone harm his master and friend.
"Shigiraki!" Kurogiri calls out, just managing to make it in time.
"Don't worry, Kurogiri. He won't harm me." Shigaraki said, grabbing nearby debris with his hand. While he couldn't lift the debris due to his incredibly weak state, Shigaraki is able to get his hand to wrap around it. And then slowly, Shigaraki turns the rock into dust.
Dune raises an eyebrow at Shigaraki's last move. The assassin couldn't understand what Shigaraki is trying to do. But he understands clearly when Shigaraki points to his beast.
"If you want to leave here, you are going to let me free my Nomu." Shigiraki said.
Dune and Shigaraki glare at each other, both men wanted the other dead, one for a job, the other for ruining his plan. But both men realize they have no choice. In order to defeat All Might, they must put aside their hostiles for now.
But the assassin wouldn't give his services for free, but money wouldn't be his price.
"I'll help you, but you have to give me one thing." Dune said.
Shigaraki narrows his eyes at the assassin, irritated he needs to give the man who tried to kill him earlier anything. But seeing the situation, the villain has no choice but to give Dune what he desires.
XXXXX
Back on the mountain, the battle rages on between the trio of Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, and Jiro and the villains. The trio is forced into a corner against a mountain wall, with the villains slowly closing in on them.
But while Yaoyorozu and Jiro are ready to fight the villains with bravely and courage, Kaminari not so much.
"We're so dead. We're so dead!" Kaminari said panicing.
"You are a real hero, Kaminari." Jiro snarks remarks sarcastically.
"Hey, I didn't sign up to die on my week of school!" Kaminari hectically responds, letting the stress of the situation get to him.
"How about you stop whining and start fighting! You have zapping power. It would be nice if you actually use them!" Jiro said, wanting Kaminari to actually do some actual fighting and not just fumble around.
"Didn't you pay attention during combat training? If I use my quirk now, you two would go down with them! I can't even call for help since they are still jamming me! I'm useless here. You have to get us out of here!" Kaminari said, concerned for his friends well-being but also not wanting to get hut hurt himself.
"You are a real damsel in distress, aren't you?" Jiro said, not impressed with Kaminari's lack of support during the fight.
However, Jiro notices a large villain rushing towards the three and wanting Kaminari to be useful, she does what she thinks is the best move.
"Well, you can be my human stun gun!" Jiro kicks Kaminari towards the villain. When the teen lands on the grunt, a large burst of electricity rushes through the villain's body, stunning him where he stands.
"Woah… I'm like super strong. Stick back, you two! You can count on me!" Kaminari now filled with confidence he can fight all of the villains on his own. But Jiro is hardly impressed with Kaminari's new attitude.
"You are exhausting." Jiro responses annoyed.
However, Jiro wouldn't have much time to linger on her classmate's silly behavior as she spots another villain with a long wire arm holding a large boulder, preparing to throw at the trio.
"Trying electrocuting solid rock, kid!" The villain yells out, preparing to toss the rock.
But Jiro wouldn't allow the villain the chance. On each of the teen's ears, what seem to be ear jacks hanging from her ear, move down to her knees, and she inserts the ear jack into a pad, then releases a sonic attack destryoing the boulder and knokcing the villain out. Now with his arm loose, the extended limb lands on the bad guy being electrocuted, trapping the grunt also into the electric attack. Another grunt jumps over the other two grunts, hoping to avoid being electrocuted and reach the students quickly. But Yaoyorozu sprouts a net from her left elbow and launches it at the grunt, trapping him and having him join the other two grunts in the electric trap as well.
"Luckily, that worked out." Yaoyorozu said, not too impressed by Jiro's hasty move.
"I'm sorry. Next time I'll ask before saving our butts." Jiro didn't appreciate the comment from Yaoyorozu, having saved their lives. Jiro releases another sound attack, knocking out a whole section of villains.
Kyoka Jiro. Quirk: Earphone Jack. The user can turn their own heartbeat into explosively amped-up soundwaves by inserting them into sound plugs. Plus, she can really hear very quiet sounds!
"Dammit, Kaminari, you couldn't have asked for some aiming gear when you put in your costume request form. Come on!" Jiro is frustrated with her classmate's incompetence.
But little did she know, a villain is jumping down from the higher ground to land the killing blow on her. However, hearing the minor sounds of the villain coming down, Jiro steps out of the way to avoid the attack.
Now exposed, Yaoyorozu delivers a strong kick to the villain's gut, sending him several feet away and knocking him down. But Yaoyorozu has one more surprise to reveal, something she's been building up.
"It's ready! Sorry, it takes me a little longer to create an object this big!" Yaoyorozu bends down to allow a large tarp to burst out from his back. The tarp files up for a bit before it falls back down, covering both teens.
The villains aren't too impressed, however, not understanding what the two can really do asides from hiding in the most futile way possible.
"Really? You think that's going to protect you?"
But Yaoyorozu raises the sheet with a smile on her face, and the tarp would in fact, protect her and Jiro.
"What you are looking at is a sheet of insulation one hundred millimeters thick! Go, Kaminari!" Yaoyorozu said before ducking her head back under the sheet.
"Hmmm. Badass." Kaminari said with a smirk, he could release his full power without harming his classmates. The student then turns to the villains, about to go all out on the evildoers.
"Now I don't have to hurt my friends! You guys are fried!" Kaminari releases a massive electrical surge, with the bright yellow light overtaking the area and hitting all of the villains who feel incredibly powerful jolts go through their bodies for ten seconds, knocking them all out by the end of it.
Thankfully for Yaoyorozu and Jiro, the tarp protects both students from the electric outburst. When the attack seems to be over, Yaoyorozu opens up the tarp to see the aftermath of the battle.
Though Yaoyorozu's plan did provide one major downside, which is only clear to Jiro, who is blushing intensely as the top of Yaoyorozu's outfit is completely blown apart.
(As the writer doesn't want the FBI to bust down his door right now, that's as much as that part is going to get in terms of details)
"Worked like a charm." Yaoyorozu said with a smile, glad her plan worked out perfectly.
"You are looking a little overexposed right now!"
"Oh…well I can make some new ones." Yaoyorozu said, a bit embarrassed but trying to play it cool.
Momo Yaoyorozu. Quirk: Creation. The user can create various non living items by using up fat they stored up. However, it might take some time based on size and how complex it is.
With the energy dispersing, it is safe for both teens to come out, though Yaoyorozu makes sure to make quick repairs to her outfit. With the needed repairs done, both teenage girls leave the tarp to obtain a look at the battlefield.
All of the villains lie down on the ground, still having the blunt power of Kaminari's power going through their bodies.
But Kaminari isn't in the best shape either, as he walks around the area completely brain-dead. The big downside of his quirk, is while the user has incredible strength in short bursts, the teen loses basic intelligence for half an hour.
"Well… that's certainly a downside." Yaoyorozu said, bewildered by Kaminari's weakness.
"Can't really tell if it's an improvement or a downgrade from his usual self." Jiro teases the electric teen.
Yaoyorozu and Jiro then turn to each just to discuss amongst themselves.
"Gotta say, that tarp trick was pretty cool." Jiro compliments her classmate for her quick thinking.
"Thank you, but we shouldn't celebrate yet. We handle all of these villains here, but there are definitely more around. We need to regroup with the others, who knows what kind of danger they are in." Yaoyorozu said.
"Yeah…I mean, the teachers and Crust probably have everything under control." Jiro said.
"Regardless, it will do us no good to stand around."
However, the students didn't notice one small thing. A villain starts to rise from the ground, poking his head out to see the aftermath of the battle, which the villain managed to avoid. Now, it's his chance to strike.
The villain quickly hops out of the ground, right behind Kaminari. Before the three students can react, the villain holds Kaminari by his neck, keeping pressure on it so in a moment he can break it in an instant.
"Now, you aren't going anywhere. Now raise your hands or your friend gets it!" The large villain said.
Yaoyorozu and Jiro, without any other choice, raise their hands up. And their situation won't be the only which will grow sour.
Back at the main battlefield, the fight seems to be in its closing moments. The students watch as Edge is continually pushed back by All Might. The villain who brought fear and terror to the students, who tried to break their souls, is now being force to fight a losing battle against All Might, dodging every attack by just a few inches.
"That asshole isn't so tough now." Awase remarks, vindicated by the villain slowly losing the fight.
"Yeah, when it's All Might, no one stands a chance. He'll just give that villain a beatdown he'll wish he could forget." Mineta said.
At the same time, Bakugo begins to wake up, his eyes fluttering before shooting right up, still in his usual mood.
"WHAT THE HELL?! HOW DID I GET UP HERE?!" Bakugo yells out, confused at how he managed to get back at the front door.
"Ka-Chan, you are okay!" Midoriya yells out, relieved, happy Bakugo is awake and not too injured.
However, the positivity isn't shared by Bakugo, who only has rage and contempt in his eyes, furious Midoriya is still alive.
"Deku, how are you still here?" Bakugo's voice is filled with fury.
"Wait, what? Ka-Chan?" Midoriya is caught off guard, not believing what Bakugo said.
"How could you have survived that villain? You should have been killed." Bakugo grits his teeth.
Midoriya frowns upon hearing Bakugo, the words which inspired him to keep on going were just a ploy to get him killed. However, Bakugo's words wouldn't go unchallenged.
"BAKUGO, YOU VILE BEAST! YOU WERE WILLING TO GET MIDORIYA KILLED FOR YOUR EGO! YOU DISGUST ME!" Yudaina furiously yells at Bakugo.
"YOU STAY OUT OF IT, AIRHEAD! THIS HASN'T NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Bakugo fires back.
However, another student has already heard enough of the two's yelling.
"WILL YOU TWO SHUT THE HELL UP?! WE ARE TRYING TO WATCH ALL MIGHT KICK SOME ASS!" Awase yells at the blonde teen, already too tired and stressed to hear people yelling loudly right next to him.
"YOU SHUT UP-Wait All Might's here?" Bakugo breaks from his usual rage,
"Yeah! He's beating that spikey jackass." Awase said.
Bakugo then looks down to see the battle between both All Might and Vicious Edge. The villain is trying to desperately hold his own as All Might continues to overwhelm him.
But despite the oncoming victory, Bakugo scowls at the two men, jealous and enraged at All Might.
"That should be me down there. If that bastard knew his place and let me fight alone, I would have won." Bakugo thinks, furious at Noburu for not obeying him and letting him fight Edge on his own. The young's man pride is damaged, and he would see his revenge against the other who ruined his chances of glory.
But all the while, the two men continue to battle, though it is clear to everyone watching Edge is about to lose. Edge keeps on hopping around, trying to get away from the hero, but All Might won't give him the distance. All Might wouldn't let this villain have another chance to attack nor the chance to escape.
The hero would stop at nothing to bring the monster to justice. And now, the perfect chance to finish off Edge.
The villain, though his tiredness of battling dozens of opponents day, including the mighty All Might and Nomu, slips on his right food and starts to fall back to the floor.
"Now's my chance!" All Might thinks, refusing to let this perfect opportunity to strike pass him. All Might raises his fist and pulls it back to release a strong strike. Not enough to kill Vicious Edge, but knock him out until the police would arrive and arrest him along with the rest of the attackers.
Vicious Edge cringes, trying to remain cool and calm, despite the incoming strike to him. Thankfully for the villain, the villain manages to get his left foot on the ground and just barely manages to push himself out of All Might's incoming fist.
But while Edge manages to dodge the hit just in time, he is still sent across the battlefield thanks to the force of All Might's mighty punch. Edge rolls and tumbles for several meters and crashes at the end of the battlefield knocked out.
With the sight of Edge being defeated, the students couldn't help but be filled with joy and relief as the vile villain who sadistically assaulted them and try to mentally break them being absolutely trumped by the Symbol of Peace.
"Fuck yeah! Take that asshole!" Awase screams out, raising his fist up into the air, being hyped up by All Might's triumphant over the villain.
The other students begin to cheer with Edge seemingly knocked out for good in this battle. Minutes ago, fear had an iron grip on the students, utter hopelessness overtaking the students.
Now with the villain knocked out for a moment, All Might finally have a moment to help himself. The hero pulls out the spike from his body. Though it stung for a moment each time he pulled a spike out, it felt a lot better than having them in his body.
"That was a close one. If it wasn't for those students, I don't know if I could have saved everyone else. These kids do have the hearts of heroes. But none of them shouldn't have been thrown into this situation. I'm sorry, Aizawa. If I had been here sooner, I could stop that villain before he hurt them. All I can do now is bring him to justice." All Might thinks to himself, feeling guilty but at the same time determined to do what he can to remedy the situation, which starts with bringing Edge and every other vile criminal to justice.
But as All Might is about to approach Edge and capture him, he feels a slight change in the air on his right side, sensing a large object coming towards him real fast.
All Might raises his fists to protect his head and moves his right foot back, knowing he is about to be attacked. The hero's suspicions prove to be true, as Nomu goes for the hero's head with a powerful punch. But due to the hero's precautions, All Might protects himself, and he is moved back only by a few meters. However, it did leave a bruise on his arm, with All Might feeling the pain.
"That was close. If I didn't raise my hands in time, that villain could have taken my head off. Looks like I'm not out of it yet." All Might said, slightly winded. Just as he thought his job was done after an intense battle, a much stronger opponent is now challenging. But regardless, his determination has not faltered.
All Might lowers his fists, getting a good look at the beast which struck him. While he did see the monstrous beast, he also saw another person standing several feet, Nomu's master.
With the help of a grunt who managed to regain consciousness, Shigaraki is able to be propped up, and he is allowed to get a proper view of the battle.
But even with his painfully brutal injuries, Shigaraki is focused on his desire. The destruction of the Symbol of Peace.
"Finally, I can have my fun." Shigaraki is filled with glee at the prospect of killing All Might, which has grown stronger thanks to the assassin's attempts to kill him and take what he thinks is rightfully his goal.
But also by Shigaraki's left side, his other beast, Ravenger who is standing right back up, fighting the stabbing spikes Edge put him in, while Dune stands on his left, though he isn't there to protect Shigaraki, just standing by, waiting to get he what he was promised.
Meanwhile, the students are completely bewildered and horrified by the return of the villains.
"Oh, come! Can't these jackasses stay down!?" Awase yells, completely pissed off the villains are still coming back.
"Doesn't matter. These chumps don't stand a chance. Especially since All Might already gave that other villain a good knockout!" Mineta yells out
"Yeah, he's right. If Edge beat the big scary bird man, and All Might beat Edge, that All Might should beat that guy too!" Tsuburaba said.
"Exactly! All Might will trumpet over these foul villains!" Yudaina agrees, fully confident in All Might's ability to deliver justice to the League. But Yudaina forgot one thing, which is on Midoriya's right now. He knows the truth. He knows All Might is in big trouble.
"They don't know. He's probably approaching his limit now. That must have been what the teachers were talking about earlier. And thanks to Edge, he is a lot more weaker. And now he has to fight the other villains. I have to go help him!" Midoriya thinks to himself.
Midoriya begins to run toward the battle. However, Kendo steps in his way, blocking his path.
"Kendo, we have to get down there! All Might needs our help!" Midoriya pleads.
"Midoriya, I understand and respect you for what you did. I truly do and I think you are a great guy. But you are in no shape to fight. If you go down there, you'll die." Kendo attempts to reason with Midoriya, being considerate of Midoriya's feelings but acknowledging the dire state the teen is in.
"We can't just let him just fight against those villains alone! He needs our help!" Midoriya argues, knowing the full danger All Might is in.
But Kendo has to remain firm. She can't let Midoriya rush into a battle he couldn't win. But she responds with a kind smile, attempting to calm Midoriya's fears.
"It's okay, Midoriya. It's All Might. He'll always beat the bad guys. He'll finish them in no time." Kendo said cheerfully, doing her best to keep Midoriya and the other students at ease.
But Midoriya still feels uneasy. He looks down and sees the villains and All Might staring down at each other, both ready to fight the other.
"Please, All Might. Be okay." Midoriya thinks, incredibly worried for his hero, knowing how much he's been through already.
Back at the battlefield, after a few more moments of both parties staring each down, All Might decides to break the tension.
"You must be the leader. Villains like you are truly the most despicable. How could you work with that monster?" All Might asks.
"He's not mine. A party crasher, trying to butt in where he doesn't belong." Shigaraki is offended by All Might's assumption.
"You seem to have forgotten my colleagues." A voice calls out.
Everyone turns to face the far end of the battlefield to see a familiar but unwelcome face return. Even with the multiple bruises across his body, Vicious Edge still stands strong with Sludge Bug by his side. Much to the surprise of everyone else.
"OH, COME ON!" Awase, Kaibara, and Tsuburaba said together, though the three friends emotions do vary from rage to outright terror. (The fear mostly coming from Kaibara and rage coming from Awase)
"DOESN'T THIS ASSHOLE KNOW WHEN TO QUIT?!" Awase cannot take looking at the villain for another moment, enraged by the sheer tenacity of the monster.
However, Edge doesn't pay much attention to the reactions. Instead, he looks upon his coworker, who has seemingly betrayed him and the mission.
"Dune, I thought we were getting along so well, and now you join the other team." Edge mocks Dune, and he and Sludge Bug slowly approach their teammate.
However, dozens of grunts quickly assembled around the two killers. Despite the injuries the goons acquired through their battle with the pros, they aren't going to let anyone attack their boss.
"Oh no, you don't! Those hero dogs might beat us to a pulp, but we ain't going to let you stop what's meant to happen!" One large grunt with a large number of wires coming out of his arms.
"Like these two could actually do that! The tall one can barely stand!" Another grunt mocks Edge, feeling confident the victory is close for their side.
"Maybe whoever kills them will get a big bonus from the boss!" A short villain round with many spikes raises his voice.
However, Edge isn't scared by the big talk and bluster. He's barely even focusing on the grunts. His focus remains on Dune, wanting to know why Dune switched sides.
But Dune would respond. Nothing verbal, but just a subtle nod.
With this little detail, Edge knows what Dune is really planning. So he'll play along with it for now.
"Fine! We'll finish our business after I do my slaughter of these weaklings. Ready, Buggie?" Edge said.
"Ready!" Sludge Bug hovers in the air.
Back with the villains and All Might, they lock eyes once more. They still have some business to settle.
"I been meaning to see him fight all day and I'm going to see my Nomu fight All Might!" Shigaraki is jittery with excitement in his voice. After a long day, he wants is about to see his beast in action the way he desires to see it.
"What about our deal?" Dune asks annoyed, seeing this action breaking their deal.
But Shigaraki wouldn't budge.
"You'll get it! Just let my Nomu fight. Then you get what you asked for, understood?" Shigaraki responds irritated. He wants nothing else but to see Nomu beat All Might to a pulp and isn't going to let someone take his wish away from him.
Not wanting to antagonize the manchild anymore and risk fighting so soon, Dune backs off. But the assassin would get his side of the bargain soon. He would just have to wait a bit.
Now the battle begins between All Might and Nomu. The two men exchange blows, going for each other's faces. However, it's not a fight All Might can do forever. He is already pushing the time limit, and his battle with Edge takes a toll on the hero.
"Gotta end this now!" All Might thinks to himself, trying to think of a plan to beat the beast.
Luckily, the hero is now given a chance to deal with Nomu quickly. The beast overextended its arm, trying to hit All Might. But the hero dodges and takes full advantage of Nomu being wide open.
All Might gets behind Nomu and wraps his arms around the villain's stomach area. Now with his chance, All Might bends backward and tries to smash Nomu head-first into the ground, planning to send him deep and take him out of the fight.
However, this plan wouldn't go the way the hero thinks. Instead of burying Nomu, a portal opens underneath them, with the beast through it and appearing underneath All Might's torso. With All Might exposed, Nomu grabs onto the hero's torso, clamping hard onto it, effectively trapping the hero.
"Oh come, what kind of cheap move was that?" All Might complains.
The students gasps upon seeing All Might trap in this very vulnerable position. And the situation would only get worse as Nomu digs his hands into All Might's sides, which includes his injury. Thanks to the pressure, the wound opens back up, and All Might starts to bleed from it. The hero grits his teeth in pain, and it will only get worse as Shigaraki begins to speak.
"You were trying to bury him in the ground so he couldn't move around anymore. But sorry, that won't work. Nomu is as strong as you are. And his shock absorption makes him impossible to beat down. You couldn't even beat him, even with a hundred percent of your power." Shigaraki said.
All Might cringes, both in the sharp pain from his wound and humiliated as he feels for this trick.
Now with All Might captured, using the immense strength the villain has, Nomu forces more pressure on All Might's injury, causing the hero to break his grip on Nomu's body. The beast, with his legs outside of the portal's reach, now holds All Might up in the air, completely helpless and unable to escape.
"Crap, he found his weak spot. Gotta stop him, despite his power!" All Might is still filled with determination. But he also needs to maintain his composure outwards too. Otherwise, it will embolden the villains further.
"If this is your best, then you picked the wrong place to attack! You should give up now!" All Might challenges the villains, though his bark is better than his bite at this moment. He can't do much, and he knows it. But the League and Dune are unfazed by All Might's bluff, as they know how much of a disadvantage All Might has right now.
"Kurogiri…" Shigaraki addresses his friend.
"Normally, I wouldn't want blood flooding the insides of my warp gates. But I'll make an exception for a hero as great as you! Since you were too fast to see with the human eye, Nomu had to restrain you. And now you are restrained. You have been beaten!" Kurogiri mocks the Symbol of Peace.
All Might cringes, feeling distraught seeing how bad the situation has become for him.
But Dune is tired of the villain's hammy performances. It's time for him to get his side of the bargain.
"Enough. It's time for you to hold up your side of the deal." Dune said.
"Fine, fine. You can kill him now. You are such a buzzkill, you know that." Shigaraki said annoyed with the assassin's serious nature. He wanted to mock All Might before giving him the most painful and gruesome death imaginable. But as a man who made a deal with the killer and how Dune followed through with his side, it's only fair he would give the assassin what he asked for. Though after the killing is done, Shigaraki has something in store for the villain.
"That fool. As soon as he kills All Might, I'll have Nomu and Kurogiri rush him and kill him and the other pests. And then, I'll kill those brats as well." Shigiraki thinks as he gleefully imagines all the ways the assassins and students dying. It brings a sick smile to the villain, wanting to savor each death to come.
But Dune knows Shigaraki's true intentions, he knew from the very moment he made the deal. Already, Dune has a plan for what comes after him killing All Might.
"Once I hit his heart, I'll only have a moment to escape from that portal villain and the beast. I'll quickly execute that filth and just need to hold off the those two until Edge and the bug arrives. They won't even be able to land a hit on me." Dune plans out his next moves. He wouldn't fall for the villain's trick. He knows better than to trust a villain.
But now it's his time. The assassin pulls one of his blades. His goal would be complete. He would bring about the end of a false symbol of justice.
Meanwhile, the students watch in horror as the unthinkable is about to happen, the death of All Might.
"All Might is in trouble!" Kendo yells out, wide out in horror.
"SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!" Awase panics.
"No way! All Might is about to die?!" Mineta panics, not being able to believe the greatest hero in the world is about to die to some villains.
"We're all going to die!" Kaibara yells out in a panic.
"NONSENSE! ALL MIGHT CAN NOT DIE, ESPECIALLY TO SOME VILLAINS!" Yudaina refused to believe it.
"I have to get down there. But there's no way I'll be able to make it in time! Unless…" Midoriya remembers someone who would be daring enough to rush him down to the battlefield, someone who he knows has the spirit of an adventurer.
"Tabi, you have to bring me down there!" Midoriya sprints over to Tabi, pleading for her to help him.
"Out of the question! Your arms are broken. You would die!" Tabi refuses. Despite her adventurous spirit, Tabi wouldn't put someone's life on the line when she thought they had no chance of survival. But Midoriya wouldn't back down.
"JUST DO IT NOW!" Midoriya screams, he couldn't waste another moment arguing. He needed to get down there right now. This outburst catches all of the students off guard.
Tabi and the other students are still surprised by the sheer determination of Midoriya. Despite the broken bones and unbearable pain he is in, Midoriya's heroic spirit doesn't weaken. In fact, it seems to grow even stronger, refusing to let anyone else get hurt, no matter the damage to himself.
But Midoriya would get his wish, however, but from an unlikely but familiar source. Bakugo leaps to action and grabs Midoriya by his collar, and the blonde teen drags his enemy toward the battle.
"KA-CHAN?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Midoriya is completely flabbergasted at Bakugo's stunt. However, Bakugo would answer, though it is for far from noble reasons and more selfish and spitful to his most despised person.
"If you want to die, go ahead. But before that, I'm going to show you what a real hero is made out of!" Bakugo yells out, allowing his pride to guide him once more.
But he has another reason to bring Midoriya. He wants to prove himself.
"If that garbage thinks he can outshine me, I'm going to remind him of whose in charge! I'll save All Might and beat those villains! I'll show them all that I'm the only one who can surpass All Might!" Bakugo thinks, still enraged by being outshined by Midoriya and at the villains for trying to take his dream away.
However, the two teens wouldn't be the only ones marching into battle, as Tabi tags along using her quirk to create a small terrain wave.
"Hold on, don't start without me!" Tabi follows suit, knowing she will be needed for the battle ahead and to try to protect Midoriya. Though she wouldn't lie, the teen also did it for the excitement.
The villains spot the teens rushing over to the battlefield. But their emotions are less fear of heroes stopping their plans, instead more humorous of a bunch of brats who didn't know when to quit.
"Oh, how adorable. The brats are trying to play the hero. They'll all die the same…painfully and slowly." Shigaraki remarks with sadistic glee.
All Might, on the other hand, is absolutely horrified by the students coming. He knows the students have no chance of victory. The only thing the students can do is run while they have the chance.
"No students! Get out of here!" All Might yells desperately, wishing for the students to escape while they still have the chance.
However, the trio didn't listen to him, continuing to rush down to try and save him despite the impossible odds against them. Midoriya, in particular, cannot bear to lose All Might.
"All Might, I won't let them kill you. There is so much I want you to teach me! This can't be how it all ends! It just can't!" Midoriya remembers all of the times they spent together to grow stronger and bonding. Midoriya has become a better version of himself, thanks to All Might. The young man refuses to run.
"I'm coming!" Midoriya screams out, refusing to let his mentor and friend be killed by such villains.
All the while, Dune observes the opposing natures of All Might and Shigaraki, the heroic vs the cruel. A bit surprised to see All Might's nature of being concerned for the students.
"This man… he's trying to get the kids out…is he…no! It's just an act. No hero can be that good! It's the end of this false symbol. And then, I'll deal with the rest of this scum." Dune refocuses, refusing to see All Might's attempt to save kids as nothing more than a cheap trick. It won't distract from his goals, now is his chance.
Dune starts to run towards All Might, hopping into the air after gaining enough speed and then beginning to descend towards All Might. Dune lifts his sword up, aiming it downwards toward All Might's heart for the killing blow.
"Arde en el infierno, bastardo! (Burn in hell, you bastard!)" Dune yells out.
Midoriya can only watch as Dune gets closer to All Might. The teen is too far away to do anything. He, Bakugo, and Tabi wouldn't be able to get there in time, as they only reached the bottom of the stairs.
"NO!" Midoriya yells out. His master is about to die, and he is too far away. It's over.
The other students also watch on in horror, unable to believe the Symbol of Peace, the greatest hero in history, All Might, is about to die. All hope has been stripped from the students. There's no way out of it. The end of The Symbol of Peace is near, and they would see it with their own eyes, with their own demise to follow suit.
But before Dune could land the blow on All Might, he's interrupted by a barrage of dragon scales as they head towards him. Dune quickly turns his body into sand, allowing the scales to pass through him.
But Dune is quickly met with a boot heading towards his head. The Sandman blocks the kick with his left hand, but through the sheer force of the kick, the assassin is forced back.
Dune lands back on his feet and looks back to see who blocked his killing blow and who is now standing before him.
I'm sorry I'm late." Rin said, making his arrival, his right arm aimed at Dune. The young man is ready to battle the villains.
Much to the annoyance of Shigaraki, narrowing his eyes at Rin. He is annoyed by another person who is trying to get into the middle of his plan, but he isn't too distraught, seeing the teen as barely a threat to him.
"Let me guess, another punk who wants to play hero." Shigaraki mocks Rin, just seeing another brat who is trying to ruin his plans.
However, Rin isn't bothered in any way by the villain's attempt to deride him. The student's focus is razor-sharp, and with his goal to protect his classmates in mind, he is ready to take on the threat.
"I'm Hiryu Rin of Class One B, and you are going to stay away from my classmates!" Rin declares.
However, Shigaraki still isn't scared by Rin's threat. The only thing on his mind is the death of All Might.
"Well, it's too late for that, punk! Nomu, end this now!" Shigaraki orders his beast to end the hero's life.
But before Nomu could finish off the hero, a streak of ice goes across the battlefield, reaching Nomu's left foot. The ice keeps on going, heading into the portal and freezing the entire left side of Nomu's body.
Much to the bewilderment of the villains, who didn't understand the sudden arrival of ice.
"What is this?" Kurogiri is completely confused by the sudden appearance of ice. But before he could process this sudden development, the villain suddenly received a strong kick to his helmet, forcing the villain to the ground.
"What insolence is this?!" Kurogiri confused
"That would be us!" Kamakiri announces confidently, putting pressure on the villain's head to stop him from going anywhere.
Todoroki walks in casually, as if his last-minute save is nothing for him.
"One of your poorly trained thugs told us you are here because you think you can kill All Might." Todoroki said.
Todoroki didn't just fire his ice randomly or without aim, as his ice stopped before hitting Nomu's hand, avoiding freezing All Might's body, which gave the hero a perfect chance to escape.
"Thank you, Todoroki. I think I can loosen this villain's grip now!" All Might thinks to himself, grabbing the villain's hands and prying them open. All Might then forces himself up and then jumps away.
All Might lands near the ice teen, though he did cringe in pain, still feeling the damage Nomu inflicted on his weak spot.
The situation starts to grow worse for the League of Villains as the walls start to close in.
Without noticing, Sludge Bug is flying over Ravager. To prevent the villain from escaping, Sludge launches several goop attacks on Ravanger's feet, trapping him where he stood, much to the fury of the villain.
"I will rip your heart out!" Ravager screams, enraged and upset he failed to kill the bug earlier. And now, Ravager is now stuck, being forced to be an onlooker.
However, Sludge Bug only giggles at the threat, feeling safe thinking Ravager couldn't attack him anymore.
"You can't get Sludge Bug anymore, big dummy!" Sludge Bug responds, mocking the villain.
But Sludge Bug isn't the only one who will cause trouble with Shigaraki. Now with the one thing he wanted taken away, the Sandman has no need to work alongside the League anymore, and he focuses back on his initial goal.
Dune rushes towards Shigaraki. With his blade ready, the Sandman will strike the villain down without hesitation.
But the grunt who still holds Shigaraki notices Dune rushing towards him. On instinct, the grunt jumps to the ground with the hope of avoiding the attack and protecting his boss.
But Dune expects such a desperate move from a scared grunt, so he swings down to where Grunt and Shigaraki are heading.
However, just moments before Dune can properly finish his job, the grunt and Shigaraki are pulled away by what seem to be hands attached to large springs.
The Sandman looks up and sees dozens of more grunts have woken up, with some fighting spirit, too, ready to defend their boss.
"If you want to get to the boss, you'll have to get through us!" One grunt declares.
However, Dune isn't particularly intimated by another round of grunts. Instead, he is annoyed. Every time he is close to getting one of his goals done, someone steps in and stops him in one way or another. Now, he just wants to get the job done and get his reward, and these grunts are making the job tedious.
"Me lleva la chingada! (Just fucking great!)" Dune said, frustrated. But this slip back into his native tongue alerts one of the grunts about Dune's possible origins.
"Oh, looks like we got a Spaniard here!" A grunt points out Dune's Spanish.
The comment, while it may seem to be quite minor to the grunt, it brought a stronger reactor from Dune. The assassin narrows his eyes at the grunt, irritated by the comment which mislabeled the assassin's nation of origin, insulting him and his nation. The man wouldn't allow this comment to slide.
Dune brings out his second blade and once more dual wielding his swords.
"Soy Hijo de Mexico. Recordarás esas palabras porque serán las últimas que escuches. (I am a son of Mexico. You will remember those words because they will be the last ones you hear)." Dune said.
But Dune wouldn't have to fight alone against all of the grunts off. He would share the villains with the grunts with the others.
"Dune, you weren't going to share with me?" Edge casually walks over to his teammate, still having a strong thirst for killing, especially grunts who beg for mercy.
The grunts themselves are shaking, horrified by Edge standing here despite the grave situation he was in earlier with the other grunts surrounding him.
"What? How did you get passed the rest of the guys? There was like a bunch of them!" a goon filled with dread and horror.
"They weren't of a high standard. I just took a bit longer because they were so fun!" Edge gestures to where he came from with his right hand, which is covered in blood.
The ground is covered in corpses and blood. The goons unfortunate to fight Vicious Edge never stood a chance. The grunts have multiple stab wounds across their chests, with their vital organs destroyed and bleeding out. If any of them are still alive, they don't have even a slight chance of living past a few minutes.
The grunts freeze upon seeing the litter of corpses of their fallen comrades. The brutality which fell on their teammates would make even the bravest men quiver upon the sight.
And now, those grunts have to face the man who brought this carnage. The man enjoyed every second of it and will enjoy the pain he will bring to these other poor grunts.
Not to be left out, Sludge Bug files down and hover next to Edge. With the assassins reunited, they can continue their mission.
"This time, we finish the mission, and don't get distracted! Understood, Edge?" Dune is frustrated with Edge's unbridled sadistic nature, which cost them so much during the mission.
"Understood. I'll just make sure to bring back a souvenir for some enjoyment." Edge's eyes wander around the frightened grunts to see which one would be fun to take back and torment.
Dune clinches his blade hilt, disgusted by the monstrous nature of his associate. But he'll handle Edge later. Right now, he still has a job to do.
The trio of assassins charges towards the grunts to finish the rest of them off and finally finish the mission.
"Sludge Bug says we should rush in and kill the skinny boy!" Sludge Bug suggests.
"If we tried to rush in, we'll be exposed to the rest of them!" Dune said.
"He's right. But I appreciated the suggestion, Buggie." Dune compliments Sludge for
"Thank you!" Sludge Bug said proud Edge liked his idea.
"Now...LET'S KILL THEM ALL!" Edge yells out, gleeful to feed his sadistic side again.
Meanwhile, with Kamakiri, he's taking his time to gloat about the villain he captured. Not just his victory over Kurogiri but how he figured the villain out.
"To be honest, it wasn't too hard to figure out what your quirk does. Only some parts of your body turn into that smokey warp gate. You used the mist to hide your actual body as a distraction to make us think we couldn't hit you! That's why we missed you! But since you had this nice armor on, that means you do have one. You're not immune to physical attacks if they hit you in the right spot, huh?" Kamakiri said with much pride, having figured out the weakness of the villain.
However, the blade student wasn't the only one who figured out Kurogiri's weakness. As another student figured out way earlier, he isn't too pleased someone beat him to the punch. However, he would have the chance to voice his objections as he and the two students traveling with him arrive at the battle.
"HEY, I WAS ABOUT TO SAY THAT, YOU DUMBASS!" Bakugo yells at Class 1B student, wanting to be the one to drop the information and prove he's the smarter student.
"Then next time, you get here first!" Kamakiri snarky replies.
With the two students distracted for a moment, Kurogiri tries to move around to escape Kamakiri's grip.
But the villain is spotted by Bakugo, who immediately brings himself over to the villain and places his palm on the villain's armor, creating a small explosion to keep the villain in check.
"Don't move! Try anything funny, and I'll blow your ass up so bad that they'll be piecing you back together for weeks!" Bakugo said with a sadistic grin.
But Kamakiri isn't impressed with the cruel nature of Bakugo. Even if the prisoner is a villain, Bakugo is still acting far too mean and cruel for a hero.
"That sounds pretty villainous, Bakugo." Kamakiri injects, disapproving of Bakugo's attitude.
But Kamakiri takes his attention off the bully and looks towards his fellow classmate.
"Rin! Are you okay?" Kamakiri asks his friend.
"Never mind me! Our classmates, are they okay?" Rin asks.
But Midoriya would step in to answer the question since Kamakiri didn't know the full situation.
"Most of our classes are up there at the front door. They're injured, but they'll pull through, I promise!" Midoriya tries to calm Rin, seeing the student is concerned and worried for his classmates.
However, Rin's emotions didn't steady but instead grow stronger as he clenches his fist in rage.
"Who did this?" Rin said, fury in his voice.
And the answer would reveal himself.
"That would be me." Edge said with a smug smirk. While he doesn't let himself get distracted as he still battles through the grunts, the killer still enjoys the pain he gives to the students. The broken bones, the bleeding, the begging, and the fear it was incredible for the killer.
But Edge's words also bring out the worst of Rin, as the teen's eyes are burning with hatred, absolutely enraged at Edge's treatment of his classmates. The young man wants to deliver a beat down on the villain and make up for his failure to protect his classmates.
However, the teen's urge for revenge would have to be on the back burner for the time being, as the fight isn't over just yet.
Despite everything beginning to collapse in on Shigaraki, the villain still remains calm. He still has one last trick up his sleeve.
"These kids really took down two of my strongest guys. They really are amazing. Makes the League of Villains look like amateurs. And I can't have that."
Shigaraki looks at his beast, still trapped in the portal, thanks to the ice attack from Todoroki. But Nomu isn't just a brute whose power is only strength. The villain has another power. Another quirk.
"Nomu. Return." Shigaraki commands the beast.
(Pause)
Without messing a beat, Nomu begins to pull himself back through the portal. But while the villain manages to get himself out of the portal, its frozen left side of his body breaks apart. Regardless, Nomu manages to prop himself up with a non-frozen right side, positioning himself into an almost push-up-like position.
"How is that thing still moving? He's all messed up." Midoriya's eyes widen, bewildered and horrified by the sheer unstoppable determination the beast still has within him.
"Stay back, everybody!" But All Might knows it couldn't be anything good.
The hero's gut feeling would be proven right by Nomu's other power.
The rest of the ice on Nomu's body shatters, with brand-new muscle tissue breaking through it. The tissue then starts to morph and replace the lost left side of Nomu's body, with new skin growing over the tissue. Within a few seconds, his left arm and leg turns are fully repaired and back to their full strength.
"What is this? I thought you said his power was shock absorption!" All Might said.
However, Shigaraki has the answer, bringing him joy to show off more parts of his great minion.
"I didn't say it was his only power. He also has super regeneration! Nomu was built to take you on even at one hundred percent of your power. He's basically a super strong punching bag that hits back."
All Might cringes, he is already feeling at his limit, and Nomu is still able to fight at full power.
Observing from afar, Dune clenches, enraged at how the situation keeps getting worse and worse. And the assassin blamed their current predicament on one man.
"Pinche! If you just focused on the job and killed the targets, we wouldn't be in this situation!" Dune said, while at the same time stabbing a grunt through his heart before pulling back and slashing another one, trying to jump.
However, Edge isn't put off by the sudden return of Nomu. In fact, the villain seems to be thrilled to fight Nomu again.
"Oh, don't worry, Sandman. This time, they go down for good this time! And I'll make it slow and painful, just to make sure!" Edge laughs as he cuts down another frightened grunt.
But Shigaraki wouldn't wait for his would-be killers to fight through his grunts and kill him. He needed to get his best minion back quickly.
"We need to free our method of escape. Get him, Nomu!" Shigaraki orders his beast to rescue Kurogiri.
Without even a thought, Nomu rushes at incredibly fast speeds. The students don't even recognize the speed. All they can see is a blur moving past them greatly.
But All Might knows where Nomu is going, tracking him, even at his fast speeds. Nomu is heading toward Bakugo and Kamakiri, who are unaware of the impending danger they are in, with Nomu getting closer and closer.
Until BOOM.
A strong force creates a thick cloud of dust, which covers the area, causing the students to be thrown several meters away, though they are all okay, just a bit shocked by the intense force.
"Such force…" Midoriya said in a daze. But he snaps out of it when he sees Nomu holding Kurogiri by his helmet, and Bakugo and Kamakiri are nowhere to be seen in front of him.
"Ka-Chan!" Midoriya yells out.
"Kamakiri!" Rin yells out for his classmate.
But Kamakiri and Bakugo are alive, right beside the other nearby students.
"Kamakiri! You're alright!" Rin yells out, fully relieved his classmate is still alive.
"Ka-Chan! You're alive!" Midoriya said, also glad Bakugo wasn't killed.
"Yeah…but how did we get here?" Kamakiri is confused about how he and Bakugo were about to dodge Nomu, who was about to end his life with a single punch.
"Ka-Chan must have grabbed you and dodged Nomu's attack!" Midoriya reasons.
"No, I didn't, you damn nerd!" Bakugo shoots down Midoriya's idea. The student doesn't want to admit it but didn't even do a single thing against the beast.
"At that speed, I couldn't even see him coming." Bakugo thinks to himself, put off by his close encounter with death.
"Then how did you get over here?" Tabi asks.
However, the student would know how the two students made avoided being killed.
As the dust settles, the answer reveals itself. All Might threw the students out of the way in time, but he had to take the blow from Nomu's attack. Even though he raised his arms to block the attack, the hero was forced into a wall, in an even weaker state, shaking as his muscles ache from another powerful attack from Nomu.
And the villains grow even stronger.
Now without pressure holding him down, Kurogiri retreats and regroups with Shigaraki, who is dusting the sludge bindings on Ravanger's feet. With Ravager free, the League is back at full strength and ready to fight once more.
"Kurogiri, hold off those three off. I want to talk to him." Shigaraki orders.
Without question, Kurogiri flies over to the battle between the assassins and the League's grunts, the latter needing the help more than anything else as they are being massacred by the former.
But while the battle goes on, Shigiraki and All Might's gazes meet as both stare each other down with intense anger in their eyes.
"These are kids, and you didn't hold back!" All Might be disgusted by the ruthlessness and cruelty of the villains.
However, Shigiraki didn't seem to have much in terms of remorse.
"I didn't have much choice. He was threatening my companion. Besides, these kids are no angels. The plain-looking one, he almost killed me with a max-out punch. What kind of hero does something like that? You think you can get away with being as violet as you want if you say it's for the shakes of others. Well, you know what, All Might, what pisses me off, is why do some people get to decide some violent actions are heroic and others are villainous. Casting judgment on what's good and what's evil. You think you are the Symbol of Peace. You're just another government sponsor instrument of violence. And violence always breeds more violence. I'm going to make sure the world understands that once you are dead."
However, All Might isn't swayed by the villain's words. He has heard these words before, and he always knows their true meaning of them.
"You're insane. Criminals like you always try to make your actions sound noble. But admit it, you do it because you like it. Isn't that right?" All Might sees through the lies and the true evil of Shigaraki and his League.
"He has me figured out." Shigaraki panics internally, a bit shaken up as All Might sees through his lies.
And Todoraki also notices the cracks in Shigiraki and feels more obliged to challenge the villain.
"We got them outnumbered."
Kamakiri nods along, bringing out a blade from his right arm. "And since we figured out purple guy's weakness and that red guy doesn't seem to be too tough, we can take them easily."
"These guys talk tough, but they don't chance, especially with All Might around. Let's end this." Rin grows Dragon scales on his arms, ready to go round two with the villains and to avenge his classmates.
"How exciting." Tabi, with a massive grin, hoping to have another chance at adventure.
"Don't attack! Get out of here!" All Might declares, walking in between where the students and the villains. He wouldn't let anyone of them risk their lives.
However, Todoraki isn't going to back down. He knows All Might needs help.
"You wouldn't be alive right now if it weren't for me earlier. You need our help!" Todoroki said.
"I appreciate your help, but this is different! Just sit back and watch a pro at work!" All Might look back to students with a confident smile, one he usually wears to bring hope to all those who needed.
However, Todoroki isn't impressed by the gesture, not appreciating being told off.
On the other hand, Midoriya is far more fearful, as he knows All Might is far past his limits.
"But you're too hurt. You're bleeding, and you are almost-"Midoriya catches himself by the tongue just before he accidentally reveals All Might's secret. But he couldn't help it. Midoriya knows full well All Might is pushing his time limit hard. Everything is looking bleak for the hero.
However, All Might simply raise his thumb to calm Midoriya down.
"All Might…" Midoriya thinks to himself, unable to imagine how All Might could get out of this dire situation with everything going against him.
With Midoriya calmed down, All Might turns back to face the villains. All Might would bring these villains to justice and defend the students, no matter what. He will not back down.
But Shigaraki doesn't care much about what All Might said. He will make sure his dreams come true.
"Nomu, take care of All Might. Ravenger, kill those brats. After that, you help Kurogiri fight those party crashers."
All the while, All Might clenches his fists, feeling his power leaving him. Time is almost out.
"I'm afraid I barely have a minute left in this form. My power is declining faster than I thought it would. Even so, I have to stop these villains." The hero feels his strength leaving him with every passing moment, but his commitment to being a hero hasn't grown any weaker.
"Let's clear this level and we'll go home." Shigaraki said. Ravager follows Shigaraki's order and charges the students, ready to kill. All the while, the group of six students awaits the villain.
"Heads up, we are going to be fighting." Tabi said excitedly.
But All Might wouldn't allow his students to fight. He wouldn't allow anyone else to be hurt. But not just because he was their teacher.
"Because I am..." All Might thinks to himself while the power of One for All begins to surge through his body. The strength built over his life, and all who came before him, it comes to aid in his most desperate hour. As he knows, as a hero, he must defeat these villains. But not just as a hero but as something far greater.
"The world's Symbol of Peace and Justice!" All Might filled with a newfound rush. It's all or nothing. He wouldn't break his role as the Symbol of Peace today or ever. And this villain would learn it soon enough.
Everyone else then notices All Might jumping into the action head-on, with Nomu running in to intercept All Might. The hero and the beast rush towards each other for the conclusion of their battle. Both of their fists meet, creating a massive shock, creating a large gust of wind, sending the nearby students and villains flying.
Ravenger lands right next to Shigaraki, who is in complete disbelief of All Might charging into the fight against his Nomu.
"Weren't you listening? One of his powers is shock absorption?" Shigaraki is annoyed with All Might, seemingly forgetting the quirk which counters his strength.
However, All Might has a perfect answer to Shigaraki's point.
"Yeah? What about it?" All Might, unfazed by the fact, as he raises his fist to launch another strike at Nomu. The beast, in response, blocks the attack with his own fist, creating at first a small dust crowd from the impact. However, neither combatants are stopping as they begin to launch more strikes, their fists hitting the other before pulling back and repeating the same moves.
Within a split second, their fists are moving faster, hard for the normal human eye can track, and the force released from the strikes begins to create a strong gust of wind, which causes the students and villains to be forced back, with them trying to hold steady.
"He's going to fight that brain guy head-on!?" Midoriya yells out.
"Woah, they're so fast!" Tabi yells out.
But not only did the students feel the sheer force of the strikes, but the villains did too, as they are pushed back as well.
"No! I can't get near them!" Ravenger yells out. The villains couldn't assist Nomu in fighting All Might. And now, fighting the beast alone, All Might can show his true power to the beast.
"Your quirk was only shock absorption, not nullification. THAT MEANS THERE'S A LIMIT THAT YOU CAN TAKE, RIGHT?" All Might yells out as he continues to trade blows with the villain.
But slowly, All Might begins to overwhelm Nomu, as his strikes begin to hit the beast's body, with several strong strikes forcing Nomu back several feet.
But Nomu isn't holding back either, as the beast lands a hit on All Might's weak spot, which breaks All Might's barrage for a split second. However, the Symbol of Peace shakes it off and returns to strike the beast, his attacks growing even stronger with every strike. And with every strike, the ground cracks open more, and any object nearby is sent flying away. And All Might isn't done yet.
"So you were made to fight me, big guy? If you can really withstand me fighting at one hundred percent of my power!" All Might marches on, with every one of his strikes, Nomu is forced back.
Shigiraki gasps, seeing his beast being slowly pushed back by All Might, surprised and scared by the amount of strength All Might is releasing.
"THEN I'LL HAVE TO GO BEYOND THAT AND FORCE YOU TO SURRENDER!" All Might yells out as he now begins to increase the speed of his punches, going faster and faster, making his fists look like a large blur, impossible for any normal person to keep up.
But all the while, Midoriya watches on, both surprised and worried for his master as he sees All Might with all his soul to defeat the impressive Nomu.
"He's giving his all, even though he's injured. Those punches aren't random…they are targeted, meaning that every single punch…" Midoriya thinks to himself before he mind remembers the battle All Might had with the sludge villain. The sheer strength and power All Might released onto the villain, so strong that it changed the weather. But strike then couldn't even hold a candle to All Might battling Nomu.
"Is more than a hundred percent of his power!" Midoriya realizes the seemingly impossible feat All Might is pulling off, going beyond the limits of his weakened form. But All Might isn't done yet.
All Might delivers another strike to Nomu's chest, sending the beast rolling across the cemented ground, the surface breaking with every time the villain lands on it.
Though it couldn't be seen with his human hand mask, Shigaraki cringes and grits his teeth as his most powerful soldier is being beaten, especially by the man who shouldn't even be able to stop it. But All Might wouldn't break, his spirit stronger than ever as he hops through the area and heads towards the beast.
"A real hero…" All Might yells out
Nomu grabs onto the ground and stops himself from rolling, and then begins to charge once more at All Might like it's a wild animal. The beast jumps into the air and gets close to All Might, and launches a strike towards All Might's head. But All Might blocks the strike with his forearms. The hero wouldn't let this villain interrupt him.
"Will always find a way for justice to be served!" All Might cries out, as he fights for the fundamental belief of being a hero. No matter what happens, evil wouldn't prevail.
All Might counter-attacks, kicking the beast away and making the beast roll onto the ground for a moment, with All Might a fair distance away from Nomu, to keep track of the beast.
But before Nomu can land back to the ground, it sees All Might charging towards him. All Might grabs onto Nomu's arm and jumps high up into the air. All Might then begins to swing the beast around, building up momentum until the hero tosses the beast back into the ground, creating a large crater, and sending multiple humongous pieces of the ground into the air.
The six students jaws are dropped, completely in awe of the pure power of All Might beating back the villain. But it isn't over, as all six of them gasp when All Might lands back on the ground, creating a minor earthquake, before standing up.
"Now for a lesson! You may have heard these words before. But I'm going to teach you what they really mean!"
The Symbol of Peace feels the power coursing within him, the one built over generations, but his own power as well, being stored into his first for one more powerful strike.
"Go beyond! Plus…" All Might launch his fist with perfect precision and strength, and all of the momentum built for his finishing move
"ULTRA!" All Might roars as his final blow lands on Nomu, which at last, did the beast in. Nomu is sent flying into the air, reaching the ceiling of the USJ in mere seconds before breaking through the ceiling lights and creating a large explosion.
And across the USJ, the area shakes as the force reverberations across the whole area.

In the rainy city area, as they are finishing up the grunts, Tokiyami, Shido, and Tsubasa feel the earth shaking as if it's about to break open.
"What was that? Everything is shaking!" Shido is completely confused.

In the burning city, as Ojiro lands a strike on a villain, he, Surikku, and Manga also feel the earthquake too.
"What was that?" Ojiro is completely taken aback by the shaking.

Nomu continues to blast through the air, going through several clouds before disappearing far off into the distance and into a quick, bright flash.

At the main entrance, the students are speechless at what they just saw, the incredible feat they just witnessed.
"Uh, was that a villain flying? Or am I going crazy?" Kemono asks.
"It was that brain dude." Sato remarks.
"Such power…" Kendo said, blown away by the strength of All Might.
"That's the true power of All Might. And that's why he's the greatest hero in the entire world!" Yudaina yells out, completely overjoyed.
The other conscious students join in as well, smiling and cheering on the hero. For All Might is the Symbol of Peace, not because of his strength, but his ability to bring joy and a sense of safety to all those who need him. Hence why, he is the greatest hero to ever exist.
Back on the battlefield, the group of students who got an up-close view of the battle is still in shock at the pure power that they just witnessed, staring at the hole All Might created by sending into the air.
"Woah, that was a finishing combo in a video game." Kamakiri said, wide eyed.
"That was amazing. I have never seen such power. He just knocked the shock absorption right out of him." Tabi's jaw is still dropped.
"Imagine having power like, he must have punching that monster so fast he couldn't regenerate." Bakugo said.
"He really is the best." Todoroki thinks to himself.
"That's how you get to be a pro." Bakugo thinks, as he still shocked by All Might's strength.
Midoriya turns his attention away from the hole in the roof and instead looks to his hero.
"He did it…" Midoriya said, taken aback in amazement by the feat All Might did. For a moment, he thought All Might was done, but the hero destroyed the fear in Midoriya and still with a smile on his face.
"I really have gotten weaker. Back in my hay day, five hits would have been enough to knock that guy out…But today, it took more than three hundred mighty blows." All Might said, feeling exhausted but his spirit remaining unstoppable.
Midoriya begins to cry tears of joy, seeing his hero standing strong as ever. No matter how much All Might pushes himself, he still has a large smile on his face to take it on.
However, All Might's time has just run out, as his body begins to release steam, overworked and pushed well beyond his limits.
"Time's up. I gotta end things now." All Might thinks, knowing his time left in his super form could very well be in the seconds.
All Might, with the little remaining strength he has left, moves his right foot towards the villains, facing them. Fortunately for the hero, the smoke created from the impact of his attack hides how weak he is now. But it would leave, so he has to use it while he still has the chance.
"You been beaten, villains! Surrender! We all want to get this over quickly." All Might bluffs, forcing the villains to think they are in an unwinnable situation to make surrender or force them to retreat.
But all the while, fear isn't going through Shigaraki. Instead, it's a more powerful and braver emotion. Rage.
"He cheated…" Shigaraki grumbles, humiliated and enraged. His plan, ruined. His beast was sent flying into the atmosphere. His hatred is unmatched at that moment for All Might.
All the while, Dune is speechless, unable to believe the pure power that All Might released on the beast. In all of his career, the assassin never saw pure unbridled strength like All Might's. The assassin isn't one to run from a fight, but he knows when the battle seems helpless.
"If that beast couldn't beat him, then we don't stand a chance. Let's leave while we still can, Edge." Dune whispers to Edge. Without Nomu, and from the surface, they stand no chance against All Might. And Sludge Bug is inclined to agree.
"Yeah. Let's buzz off before he goes after us!" Sludge Bug filled with fear, not wanting to get the full force of All Might's strength.
However, Edge isn't scared one bit as he stares back at the Symbol of Peace, with a large twisted smirk spread across his face. The villain knows the fight isn't over yet, and he can still achieves his dream.
"Oh no. I'm just getting started." Edge pulls out three spikes from his right hand.

Oh that moment is still is so brilliant. All Might is badass, god I love him. Of course, I couldn't have the USJ Arc without including one of the GOAT moments of the series. It's legit one of those fights that I can call pure awesome. Impossible to grow sick of.
Also yeah, I did kind of cheat with that slight change with Bakugo about him telling Deku to fight because he just wanted him to die. But I still say it is in character, even in the Redux verse. As in this version, he did basically tell Midoriya go kill himself back in chapter one and almost killed him a few chapters ago. So not a full cheat.
Also a little thing. I feel like if Redux was an anime, it would have a bunch of comparison shots videos. Since, I feel like a lot of shots that would be similar in both versions, like the shots of the students just being amazed by All Might kicking ass. Man. That would feel so weird ngl. Lmao.
But enough joking, I'm going to be a bit honest here.
I feel like this chapter could have been longer. Like I know it's over 20k words, but I feel I skipped over some stuff, like doing some proper stuff Kendo or going into more detail with some of the cast.
I do blame that on the rough production cycle of this chapter, which if I may say, writing this chapter was incredibly hard, like the hardest of the series.
Like a lot of things have been going on these past months that made me write a lot less usual and I was having issues writing specific parts of this chapter, which delayed this chapter far longer than I wanted.
Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if I missed a few things here. But you know what, I got it before the end of the month and I actually finished it. So yeah, I'll give myself that much.
Also, I'm going to give update about the future of this series soon. Don't worry, the series won't be cancelled. It's just somethings are going to change. I'll explain in greater detail, so keep watch for that.
Until then, thank you all for reading, it's always a blessing to know people read my stuff.
Leave a review and let me know your thoughts on the story.
Take care everyone and have a great day.
