The following morning, Sasuke and Hana said their goodbyes.

This goodbye felt even harder than the last one. Perhaps because they had finally realised their true feelings for one another. Still, Sasuke reassured her that they would see each other again. He said that if he were gone too long, Orochimaru would grow suspicious, and potentially have her hurt if he found out what they had been up to.

Kissing his cheek softly, Hana whispered, "I love you" in his ear.
Turning on his heel with his packed equipment under his arm, Sasuke grinned.
"I love you too. I'll see you soon, I hope."
Hana smiled softly to herself as she watched him walk away, not looking back. She understood why. It would be too painful, and he'd want to stay with her. It just wasn't possible in that moment.

He had asked her not to mention his whereabouts to Naruto, Sakura, or anyone else. To pretend that they hadn't bumped into one another. It would be a hard lie to tell, but she knew there was no other way. Moving back the way she came, Hana couldn't keep the smile off her face. After five, long years she had finally seen Sasuke again. Not only that, but they had slept together for the first time, too. Yes, the first time. This wouldn't be the last time they saw one another; she was certain of it.

Humming a tune to herself, she continued to walk. If the others found her, Sasuke would have some time to get away at least, since they would be talking to her and probably taking her back to the village. To her utter shock, just as she took one more step forward, a kunai zoomed past her head.
"Argh!" she exclaimed, jumping backwards and getting into a fighting stance while looking around. She couldn't see anyone at all.

"My, my what cute prey we've found here, Kakuzu!"
"Wh-who's there?!" she yelled, removing her sword from its sheath.
Just as she did, she spotted something coming at her from the corner of her eye. A psyche!
She managed to block the attack, but her feet scraped against the floor, twisting her ankle. The psyche retreated, and out of the woods stepped two Akatsuki!
Perhaps if she mentioned Itachi's name, they would be less likely to harm her. From the looks of things, they were much stronger than she was. Fighting two alone would only end badly for her.

"Just don't toy with this one for too long, Hidan. We have to get back to the hideout" the one, who she now knew was Kakuzu, grumbled angrily.
"Ya, I know, I know. She's just too hot, though. Maybe Lord Jashin will let me keep her!"
"What exactly would you do with her?" Kakuzu sighed, "just sacrifice her and get it over with."

Hana frowned. They were bickering, so she still couldn't see an opening to mention Itachi's name.
"I'd fuck her pretty little brains out all day, all night. Obviously. However. . ." he smirked at her, causing Hana's skin to crawl, "I think I'm going to have to sacrifice you. Sorry, hot stuff."
"I-!" before she could speak one word, he lunged at her. Hana screeched, trying to lift her blade to attack him, but it was no use. His psyche scratched the skin of her neck, cutting it deeply.

"A-argh!" she screamed, stumbling backwards.
"This one's too easy. What kind of ninja are they raising in the leaf?" he giggled madly.
"Would you hurry it up, Hidan. Itachi and Kisame will be here any moment."
ITACHI. She just had to hold out a little bit longer, that's all!
She raised her sword, swiping it at him, but Hidan dodged with ease.
"Stupid slut!" he yelled, kicking her in the stomach. She yelped, falling onto her back.
"I already have your blood" he began, and he stretched his legs and drew a symbol with them on the forest floor, "It's far too late."
Swiping his tongue across his psyche, he smirked seductively at her as his skin turned black and white. Her eyes widened.
"N-no. Please. Y-you don't understand I-I!"
"Shut up" Kakuzu sighed, "if you keep talking, so will he."
"No, no. Keep begging me, come on!" Hidan said, his eyes hungry, "it's making me feel SO good!"

Hana tried to stand up, clinging to her bleeding neck. Pulling a blade from behind his back, Hidan stabbed himself in the leg. Hana screamed in agony, falling to her knees. Looking down at her thigh, she noticed blood seeping from a wound that had suddenly appeared.
'Oh, fuck!' she thought to herself, 'he's got me in a bind for sure. I'm going to die here.'
"Ohhhhh yesssssss!" he said, his eyes rolling back in his head, "you're so fucking hot when you make that face, bitch!"
She winced in pain, looking up at him, "Itachi will never forgive you if you do this!"
"Itachi?" Kakuzu raised a brow, "ah-"
Hidan was in such a craze, he was ignoring her, though. Stabbing himself in the other leg, Hana screamed in agony once again.

"Fuck yes, just like that!" Hidan laughed manically.
"Hidan, I think you should stop" Kakuzu said behind him, "this one's no ordinary leaf shinobi."
"EH?!"
"She's an Uchiha."
"So the fuck what? Didn't Itachi kill all those stupid bastards? Why would he care?"
"He left this one alive for a reason, I'm sure" Kakuzu said in a bored tone, "now, let her go, will you?"
"But I'm just getting started, you fucker!" Hidan screeched at him.
"Don't make me kill you."
"As if you could, you bastard!"
Hana's vision began to blur, and she collapsed onto the ground, head hitting hard against the dusty forest floor.

"Now look what you've done!" Hidan groaned, "I won't get to see her die! She's fucking passing out."
"That's your fault for taking too long."
"Which is your fault for distracting me! Hey, What the fuck!?"
Hana's head slowly tilted so that she could see what was happening, although her vision was becoming more and more blurry by the second.
"I told you" Kakuzu grumbled.
Hana's eyes widened as far as they could, when she spotted a shark-like male holding Hidan's head in his hands. From a nearby tree, she heard a familiar voice speak coldly.
"That's my little sister."

Hana's vision was going black as Itachi jumped down from the tree, approaching Hana at lightning speed.
"I-Itachi," she cried out, swallowing hard, "i-it hurts."
"I'll get you to safety, Hana. Don't worry" he said softly, "I'm taking you with us."
"You c-can't" she said, a tear streaming down her cheek, "I'll be in trouble."
"No need to worry, no one will ever find out."
With that, Hana's eyelids closed, and she fell unconscious.
