AUTHOR'S NOTES: Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Well, Melbourne's back in lockdown again and once again, selfish people have made it worse by protesting against the lockdown. Seriously, sometimes these people make me so mad! They're wrecking things for everyone! I understand that being in lockdown can be frustrating, but don't wreck it for everyone else. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this new chapter and please remember to review :)
Raph was running with Danielle in his arms from a bunch of humans chasing after them. He runs down through and alley, trying to lose his pursuers.
RAPH: There's an old saying that goes something like; 'the more things change, the more they stay the same.'
New York was in a huge mess after the invasion. There were broken windows, rubble from buildings that had been destroyed, wrecked cars and destroyed Triceraton ships and tech lying around.
You'd think after the city had been torn to pieces by warring aliens from outer space, that maybe people would be a little more open minded about teenage mutant ninja turtles and halfas' living in their own backyard. Think again.
They reached a dead end, leaving them nowhere to run. They turned and could hear the angry mob shouting, "Over there! / He went this way! / That freaky alien and it looks like he's kidnapped a kid! Let's tear him to pieces!"
Raph placed Danielle down, pushed Dani behind him and then pulled out his sais as he heard the mob getting closer around the corner and prepared to fight his way out.
Ain't it nice to see some things never change?
TOUCH AND GO
"Now the red one." Leatherhead instructed Donnie as he was putting wires together on the televisions in their living room. "Careful. Careful. Now the blue wire."
Donnie followed Leatherhead's instructions and attached the blue wires together. The televisions came on in an instant.
"Aha! Good it's working." Leatherhead commented as he, Danny, Donnie and Jazz were working on repairs to the lair.
After the invasion and Professor Honeycutt's funeral, Master Splinter invited Jazz, Dani and Leatherhead to come stay with them in the lair for as long as they wanted. Leatherhead and Dani happily accepted his offer, Jazz however decided that she would stay with them for a few days, but then she was going to move in with April, after she had offered Jazz a place in her apartment since she now had a guest bedroom.
Maddie and Mortu from across space managed to set everything up for her on Earth. She was even going to take classes at NYU starting in a couple of weeks. Right now, she was helping Donnie and Leatherhead fix everything that was damaged from the invasion.
Danny was just finishing up the wiring for the lights in the lair, even fixing the clapper Donnie had installed for Splinter.
Mikey however, was growing impatient for some entertainment. He ran up to Leatherhead and placed a foil antenna helmet on his head as he said, "Leatherhead, wear this for a minute."
"Huh? What?" Leatherhead said, confused by Mikey's actions.
"Mikey, what are you doing?" Jazz asked, looking at the smiling ninja turtle now sitting on the couch.
"Trying to get some TV reception." Mikey answered as he sat there, lazily.
Donnie crossed his arms at his brother and said, "If you wait a minute, we'll have a whole new computerised communications array up and running."
Mikey however didn't want to wait and clearly stated, "I don't want TV in a minute. I want it now."
"We are in the middle of a very delicate procedure here." Donnie said.
"So am I. Leatherhead, lean to the right." Mikey instructed.
Leatherhead leaned, but then Mikey said, "No. Go to the left. A little more."
Leatherhead moved and then stopped as the news came on one of the screens. Mikey then said, "Don't move! We got something."
Leatherhead remained still and they all looked at the news as the woman reported, "A short time has passed since the mind-boggling alien invasion, but New York is already getting back on its feet."
Images of the damages left from the invasion, people cleaning up and some angry people taking stuff from the leftover ships could be seen as she continued to report, "Citywide clean-up efforts will take time. Police are urging citizens to not touch anything. There's still a lot of live alien ordinates out there."
Images of the Justice Force using their powers and abilities to help with the clean-up then showed as she continued, "And some good news, the Justice Force is back in action! Helping clean-up crews all over the city."
Mikey smiled at the sight of his friend Silver Century on the screen and began to cheer, "It's my pal Silver Century! Yo go super dude! You…."
His cheering was cut short when Leatherhead accidentally moved his head and the reception was lost. Mikey immediately complained, "Awww! They were just getting to the best part! Thanks a lot Leather dork."
Leatherhead didn't take that insult too kindly. He immediately began to growl and his pupils change. He scrunched up the foil helmet in anger and threw it away. He continued to growl, but Donnie placed his hands on his back and he immediately calmed down.
"Easy does it Leatherhead. Don't listen to him." Donnie said calmly. "Mikey makes everyone crazy. It's his secret mutant power."
Master Splinter came out of his room and asked, "Donatello, have Raphael, Leonardo and Danielle returned from Miss O'Neil's?"
"Not yet Master Splinter." Donnie answered.
Danny leapt down off the ledge and landed in front of Master Splinter. He then said, "I finished fixing all the lights in the lair. I was going to go check out the sewer tunnels for damages caused by the invasion. Just in case we need to update our routes for when we hit the surface."
"Michelangelo and I shall accompany you then Daniel." Splinter said.
Mikey's eyes widened and he asked, "What? How come me?"
Splinter frowned at Mikey and answered, "Because you are only causing trouble here. Jazz, Donatello and Leatherhead have important work to do."
Mikey looked down as he walked beside Danny and Splinter heading for the sewer tunnels. Splinter then added as he whacked Mikey a couple of time with his walking stick, "And besides, it'll give us a chance to focus on your training Michelangelo. I am determined to see you establish a mind / body connection….no matter how feeble."
At April's place, Dani held up the piece of wood in her ghost form on the broken windows at the front of her shop and then Raph and Leo hammered it on, keeping it in place. Leo said to April, "Well, that's got it covered."
Dani landed back on the ground and changed into her human form. She dusted off her hands as she said, "It's not pretty, but it'll do."
"This will hold until you get it repaired April." Raph said, but it seems April wasn't paying much attention to them.
Instead she was focused on Casey. She said to him gratefully, "Thank you so much Casey. I feel so much better now."
Casey smiled back and said, "Oh you know. Anything for you April."
April smiled at Casey and the two continued to stare at each other. Raph frowned and said sarcastically, "Hey what are we? Vegetarian chopped liver?"
"Oh come on guys. I think it's time for us to go." Leo said, as he began to walk away with Dani.
"I did more work than he did ya know." Raph kept muttering.
"Just let it go dude." Dani commented as they headed onto the rooftops, going in the direction of their home.
She turned to Leo and Raph and asked, "You guys sure it's alright for me to stay with you all?"
Leo smiled at her and said, "Of course. As we told you before, no matter how long you want to stay, you'll always have a place with us."
Raph placed a hand on her shoulder and added, "Yeah. You're part of the family and we always look after one of our own."
Dani smiled back and said, "Thanks guys. For everything."
Raph smirked and challenged, "Hey guys, race ya home. Unless Leo you're afraid I'll beat ya like last time."
Leo smirked back and said as he began to jog, gaining a head start, "Raph, the only thing I'm afraid of is your faulty memory. I won last time."
Dani giggled as she too began to run behind, Raph began to run as well getting ahead of them a bit as Leo then mocked Raph, "And looks like I'm gonna have to do it again Mr I can't admit defeat."
That made Dani laugh even louder. Raph then said as he ran faster and leapt onto the next roof, "Keep dreaming bro! I'll wait for you two back at the lair!"
Dani and Leo picked up their pace and broke into a run. The race was on!
Danny, Mikey and Master Splinter continued to make their way through the sewers. There was rubble, broken pipes and all sorts of debris around from the damages that happened from the invasion.
"Looks like many of the side tunnels have collapsed or flooded from the invasion." Danny commented. "We'll have to cross off several routes off our map that we used to take."
Mikey however wasn't fully interested and said, "Yep! Tunnel's in sad shape. Well, let's head home."
Danny however pulled him back and said, "Oh no you don't! We've only just begun."
"Focus on the task at hand." Splinter said as they continued on. He sighed at his orange mask wearing son and lectured, "My son, physically you have a natural affinity for the martial arts, but mentally your mind is undisciplined and unruly."
Mikey shrugged and said gesturing to himself, "I'm a teenager sensei. Undisciplined and unruly is what we do best."
"You are also a ninja." Splinter reminded him. "You must learn to use your mind more and your mouth less."
They jumped over the large broken pipe and continued on down another tunnel. Normally the tunnel they were heading down led to the subway, however that no longer seemed to be the case as it was now caved in, blocking the rest of the tunnel.
"Looks like another dead end." Mikey commented.
"I was hoping to learn if the tunnels to the subway were still intact." Splinter said. He looked at the ladder leading to the surface and said, "We'll have to surface for a short distance."
Mikey cheered, "Hitting the surface! Wahooo!"
Splinter frowned and added, "A very short distance. We will re-enter the sewers one block to the West."
They climbed out of the sewers and used the cover of darkness to head down the street. However as they headed down their path, they were unaware that two individuals had spotted them and were now watching them through high-tech goggles.
Watching them was two men. The first man had glowing white eyes and long black hair tied back in a pony-tail and wearing an expensive looking white business suit, a hat and had a cane. The second man was large and muscular man with also glowing white eyes and red hair and he was wearing a dark purple suit, gloves.
"Well, well, well Mr Touch….It's the rat and two of his brood coming out of their little hidey-hole." The first man said with a grin, facing the other one who he called Mr Touch.
Mr Touch nodded and said, "Then it would appear, it's time for us to get to work Mr Go."
Touch and Go suddenly placed their fists against each other and a bright light appeared and the sound of electricity could be heard, showing that these two were definitely no ordinary men. The two men leapt off the roof and watched from the fire escape as Danny, Mikey and Splinter arrived at the next sewer entrance.
Danny lifted the lid and suddenly Splinter eyes widened as he sensed something. Danny noticed this and asked, "Sensei, what's the matter?"
Splinter looked around and sniffed the air. He then answered, "Something is following us. Quickly! Let's us get underground."
Mikey climbed in first, followed by Splinter and then Danny came in last closing the lid behind him. Touch and Go came out from their hiding place and stood in front of the sewer entrance. Touch picked up the lid and threw it at the wall. It slammed right into the brick and became stuck there, demonstrating Touch's inhuman strength.
"After you Mr Go." Touch said to his partner.
"Too kind Mr Touch." Go said, his grin not dropping as he climbed down into the sewer.
Touch climbed in, but found he was too big to get through the hole all the way. He climbed back out and once again used his strength to make the entrance bigger before climbing back in and following his partner.
"Master Splinter, I'm hungry." Mikey whined.
"Mikey, focus. Whatever is following us, it's not friendly." Danny said, getting the feeling that they were still being followed as they continued down the tunnels.
"But focusing makes me hungry." Mikey whined once again, unaware that Go had caught up with them.
"Mr Touch better catch up quickly or he's going to miss out on all the fun." Go said quietly, before speeding up and began his attack.
The attack caught them completely by surprise. Go took on Splinter first and the rat mutant managed to block each strike, but it was difficult since Go was using some kind of form of super speed. He flipped over Mikey and Danny and then pressed a button on his cane. His cane sparked with electricity before he slammed it right into Danny's stomach, causing him to groan in pain at first, but then screamed as the cane shocked him hard.
He fell to his knees. Danny glared at Go and tried to change into ghost form, only to find he couldn't.
"What the heck is going on? Why can't I access my powers?" Danny asked in shock.
Go smirked and answered, "Simple. A new acquaintance of ours warned us of your ghostly abilities my boy and provided my cane with the ability to short circuit your powers for the next four hours. Giving me and my friend when he arrives, a nice advantage over you."
Without hesitating, he side kicked Danny in the cheek sending him crashing right into the brick wall.
"DANNY!" Mikey shouted, but didn't have time to react when Go punched him in the stomach so hard, it sent him crashing into the wall as well.
Master Splinter blocked Go's attacks with his staff, but with each minute Go became faster and stronger. He then struck Splinter's leg hard with his cane, causing the old martial arts expert great pain. He then kicked him back, leaving the poor mutant rat kneeling down in pain.
Mikey and Danny then stood in front of Splinter in defence, their weapons in hands ready to fight. Danny then said with a glare, "I may not have my powers right now, but my sensei has taught me to fight in both forms."
"Now zippy pants, let's just see how fast you…" Mikey began to say, but didn't finish when he was suddenly kicked and knocked down quickly by Go.
Go then proceeded his attack and began to hit Danny and Mikey with a series and punches and kicks at great speed. Suddenly, his attacks began to slow down and his strength was suddenly diminishing, that now he couldn't hit hard as much. He stopped as he was now completely worn out.
Danny and Mikey looked at him confused, but then smirked as they now had the opportunity to fight back as it seemed their opponent was weakened. Go went to punch again, but Danny caught the hand in his own and then allowed Mikey to side kick him, sending him now crashing into the brick wall of the sewer.
"What's the matter Sparky? Dead battery?" Mikey teased as he spun his nun chuck.
He was about to finish the fight, when suddenly both he and Danny were grabbed by their shoulders and thrown right across the tunnel hitting a pillar and falling to the water-covered ground.
"Michelangelo! Daniel!" Splinter shouted with worry and headed over to his sons.
Danny and Mikey groaned in pain as they weakly stood up, looking at Touch and his glowing fist. Touch grinned and asked his partner, "Am I late Mr Go?"
Go got up and answered as he stood beside him, "Fashionably Mr Touch."
Touch and Go once again slammed their fists together and both of them felt suddenly re-charged with energy. Go laughed as he and Touch began to ascend towards Danny, Splinter and Mikey to resume their fight.
Splinter looked behind to see the weakened pillar and acted quickly. He jumped up and kicked the pillar hard. The tunnel shook as the pillar broke. Splinter pulled Mikey and Danny out of the way as the roof caved in, right on top of Touch and Go creating a cloud of dust.
"What the shell was that all about?" Danny asked.
Splinter silenced Danny, watching and listening at the pile of rubble before them. He could hear a slight noise coming from the rubble and said, "They are breaking through."
"Breaking through?" Mikey asked in shock. "What are these guys? Terminators?"
Splinter struggled to stand up, his leg was in so much pain from the beating it took from Go. He said with a groan, "We must go."
Mikey and Danny held Splinter on each side and began to leave the area, hoping to put enough distance between them and Touch and Go.
Meanwhile, Leo laughed as he leapt across the rooftops beating Raph and Dani in their race by a mile. Raph was running in second, while Dani was running in third not far behind Raph.
Leo shouted as he sped ahead, "Come on! Step it up you snails!"
"Whew! How do you guys have so much stamina?" Dani asked, even though she was doing okay, she was finding it hard to keep up with Leo and Raph.
"Oh man! Leo's kicking my shell!" Raph groaned, trying to think of a way to win this race.
He then saw a shortcut and said, "Hey! If I cut across that old alley, I'll beat him home in half the time."
Dani noticed Raph changing directions and decided to follow him. She watched as Raph leapt onto another roof and was about to jump onto another one, but suddenly the bit of the roof he landed on broke and he began to fall.
"OH SHELL!" Raph screamed as he fell, heading towards the ground.
"RAPH!" Dani screamed and jumped off the roof, quickly changing into her ghost form.
Just when Raph almost got closer to the ground, she grabbed him by his ankle, swung him up before catching him by his hand and landing them both safely underneath a street light in the middle of a quiet street.
Dani panted as she changed back into her human form, "That was a close one."
"Glad to have you watching my back there." Raph said, smiling at Dani.
She smiled back but then suddenly they heard shouting. They turned to see there was an angry mob of people heading right for them with spotlights, weapons and everything. The leading man pointed at them and said, "There he is! There's one of those alien invading scum and it looks like he's kidnapping a kid!"
"AFTER HIM!" The other people shouted.
"What now? Angry villagers?" Raph commented before picking up Dani bridal style and running off.
Raph ran, Danielle held on tight as they headed down an alley trying to lose the angry mob of people.
"You know, to think after the invasion people would get used to seeing you by now." Dani commented.
"Some things never change." Raph said as he continued to run.
They suddenly reached a dead end, leaving them nowhere to run. They turned and could hear the angry mob shouting, "Over there! / He went this way! / We got to rescue the girl! / Let's tear him to pieces!"
He placed Dani down and tried to open the door to a house, but found it was locked. Raph groaned, "Great. The old turtle luck running true to form."
Raph pushed Dani behind him and then pulled out his sais as he heard the mob getting closer around the corner and prepared to fight his way out.
"Those fellas want a piece of me, they're gonna get a little more than they bargained for." Raph said.
Suddenly the door Raph tried to open opened, revealing an old lady. Raph and Dani quickly hid to the side, hoping she didn't see them. The woman then called out, "Yes? Who's there?"
"Uh….I'm Raphael and with me is Danielle." Raph answered nervously.
The old woman however just smiled as she continued to look ahead and said kindly, "Oh you two must be a couple of Mr Rossetti's children. I'm Mrs Morrison."
She held out her hands said, "Help me dears. Take my hands."
Raph and Dani were unsure what to do, until Mrs Morrison said, "I can't see you both. I can't see anything. I've been blind for almost a year now."
Raph put his sais away and held one of her hands, while Dani held the other one. Mrs Morrison bought them both inside as she said, "I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow. Come on in and I'll show you both what to do."
The mob finally reached the alley as Raph and Dani were now safe inside Mrs Morrison's house. She was about to close the door when the leading mob member asked her, "Excuse me, you see any strange alien creature holding a little girl run by here?"
Mrs Morrison however laughed and said, "Don't be silly. There aren't any aliens around here."
She then closed the door and the mob left, continuing their search for Raph and Dani.
Splinter, Danny and Mikey had made it to the subway. However, because Danny's powers were still out of commission thanks to Go, trying to open the sliding door to go down another tunnel leading to the sewer wasn't easy.
After Danny tried and then Mikey tried, they found it was too tightly locked up that neither of them could open it. Mikey then asked, "I don't get it. Super strength and super speed. Sensei, how do we fight those guys?"
"Focus my son. Focus your mind and an opportunity will present itself." Splinter advised.
"Hello again my friends." Go spoke in his usual classy voice. "Since you will not party with us, we will bring the party to you."
Once again, Touch and Go slammed their fists together, re-charging their energy and powering them up.
"INCOMING!" Mikey warned as Go leapt, bouncing off the pillars towards them.
Go jumped down, kicked Mikey back in the stomach, grabbed Danny's hand and threw him away like a rag doll and then once again, kicked Master Splinter's already hurt leg causing him more pain. Touch charged up his fist to punch Splinter, who managed to move out of the way of the deadly blow.
Danny swung his sword at Go, but he proved faster than before. Suddenly Go swept Danny's legs and before he could react, Go whacked him hard in the back with his cane sending him crashing into the nearby bench.
Mikey jumped up and swung his nun chucks at Touch, but the large muscular man grabbed them both and began to slam Mikey against the ground using his strength. Splinter saw this and immediately leapt over to help him. He jumped over Touch and kicked him in the chest, forcing him to let go of Mikey.
Mikey, Danny and Splinter stood together, both of them weakened by their attackers. Mikey groaned as he rubbed his head in pain, "Did we win yet?"
"Win?" Go said with a laugh as he and Touch once again re-charged. "You make us laugh little turtle man. We're just getting warmed up!"
"Who are these guys?!" Mikey asked in shock.
Meanwhile, Dani and Raph were moving boxes near the front door for Mrs Morrison. She kindly instructed, "The large boxes and trunk will need to go by the door as well."
"You moving out Mrs Morrison?" Dani asked.
Mrs Morrison looked down in sadness as she answered, "Forced out I'm afraid. The bank is foreclosing on my mortgage. Since my husband passed away well….the money is mostly gone and I haven't any other family."
She gave a small smile as she finished, "All I have is Lucy, my cat."
The small white cat moved up to Raph's hand and began nuzzling it. Danielle smiled and petted the cat, causing it to purr with delight. Raph smiled at the cat, but then they both looked at Mrs Morrison sadly, feeling bad for what's happening to her.
"Ah! This is going to be more fun than I hoped Mr Touch." Go said to his partner in satisfaction.
"Absolutely Mr Go." Touch agreed, cracking his knuckles.
"Awww! Touch and Go. That's cute." Mikey mocked.
He then realised something about Touch and Go, how they need to re-charge after a short amount of time together. He finally figured out their weakness and a way to possibly defeat them.
"Touch and go! I have an idea!" Mikey said as the two assailants backed them near the tracks.
"Mikey, this is seriously not the time for your jokes." Danny said sternly.
"No! Really I have a plan." Mikey said as he saw the train pass in the subway. "But first, we need to put some distance between us and the Wonder Twins."
"My son, I am happy that you are finally exercising your mind but…" Splinter said, about to say something.
"Just follow my lead guys." Mikey instructed as they began to dodge Touch and Go's attacks.
"I believe it's time for the mutants to catch a train Mr Go." Touch said as he saw the lights of the oncoming train.
Go grinned wider and said, "Or for the train to catch the mutants Mr Touch."
With one combined punch, they hit Danny, Mikey and Splinter onto the tracks just as the train was coming. The train sped past the station and when it was gone, there was no sign of Mikey, Danny or Splinter being there. All that was left was Splinter's robe and walking stick, Mikey's nun chucks and Danny's sword laid out all over the tracks.
The two assassins smiled to see they had done their job well. Touch was the first to speak, "Our employer will be pleased Mr Go."
"I am rather pleased myself Mr Touch." Go said and they both laughed at the sight of the weapons and clothing left on the tracks.
Touch went onto the tracks and collected the items as he said, "I believe we just earned ourselves some money Mr Go."
"What's say we pay our employer a visit Mr Touch?" Go suggested, his grin not dropping. "I think it is pay day for us yes?"
Leo had returned to the lair, but there was no sign of Dani and Raph there. He walked over to Jazz, Leatherhead and Donnie who were still working on the televisions.
"Hey Leatherhead, check the dish alignment? Something's still wonky." Donnie said as he worked on the computer, trying to get the signal up and running.
"It might be one of the wires." Jazz suggested. "I'll run the scanner over them and see what's up."
Leo then asked, "Hey guys. Did Raphael and Danielle get back yet?"
"I don't think so / haven't seen them / nope." Donnie, Leatherhead and Jazz all answered as they continued to work.
"They should've been back by now." Leo said. He then frowned and added, "Knowing Raph, he's probably gotten himself in some kind of serious trouble and Dani will be dragged along with it."
But Leo was wrong. Raph was drinking a cup of coffee, while Dani was drinking a hot chocolate. Raph slurped his coffee as he drank it from his cup.
"Don't slurp son." Mrs Morrison said gently.
Raph placed his cup down and said, "Oh. Sorry Mrs M."
The cat leapt up onto Dani's lap. She giggled and pet the cat once again, before the feline jumped up onto Raph's shoulder and nuzzled against his cheek. Raph chuckled and petted the cat as well.
"Lucy's really taking a liking to the both of you. She usually doesn't take to strangers." Mrs Morrison said smiling.
"Have you had Lucy for a long time?" Dani asked.
Mrs Morrison shook her head before answering, "Not that long Danielle. I found her last year before I went blind. She used to live in the alley out back. I sort of adopted her or she adopted me, it's hard to tell with cats."
"Hey, I'm a bit of an alley cat too. Maybe that's why she likes me and Dani here, I guess it's her gentle nature." Raph said.
Mrs Morrison then stood up and said, "Well, I shouldn't keep you two here any longer. It is a school night after all."
"Yeah. Our father will probably be waiting for us." Raph said, thinking about Master Splinter.
Dani and Raph walked out the front door and then faced Mrs Morrison who held Lucy in her arms. She then said to them both, "Maybe you two can stop by again. Lucy and I will be here a little longer and we'd love to have you."
"Really? Thanks Mrs M. We'd like that." Raph said, smiling at the kind lady.
"We'll definitely come by soon." Dani said, smiling also.
At a penthouse in the Hilton Hotel, Touch and Go were meeting their employer who turned out to be none other than Hun. Hun had hired Touch and Go to eliminate Danny and the Turtles after their constant interference with his masters plans.
The two assassins presented the weapons and robe to Hun as Go said, "Our very first assignment was an unqualified success."
Hun grinned and complimented, "Gentlemen, I am impressed. Most impressed."
"The pleasure was all ours Monsieur." Go said.
He handed Go a briefcase and said, "My masters will be most pleased. Here is your payment for the rat, the halfa and one shell back."
Go opened the case revealing a very large sum of money inside, causing Touch to drop the items with a wide smile as Go said, "For us? Oh and it's green my favourite."
"Eliminate the other turtles and I'll triple the pay." Hun promised.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door and a female voice called out, "Hello? Room service."
Hun said confused, "We placed no order."
Another female voice then replied, "Yes you did. We have the order right here sir."
Hun growled as he walked up to the door, "Go away! We placed no order."
He opened the door to reveal behind the cart was Danny and Mikey alive and well.
"Well somebody ordered a serious butt whooping!" They both said and then slammed the cart right into Hun, sending him crashing right on top of Go, causing the assassin to drop the briefcase.
"GET OFF ME YOU OAF!" Go shouted as he struggled to push Hun off him, even with his super strength.
"Well, well Mr T! It's just you against us and I pity the fool who throws us in front of a moving train!" Mikey called out as he and Danny took on Touch.
They both began to dodge his punches and lead him further away from Go, who was still trying to get Hun off him. Above in the vents, Splinter opened the lid and pulled out a fire extinguisher and pulled the nozzle, filling the entire room with smoke.
"Alright Touchy, now you're gonna get it." Danny said as he and Mikey were invisible in the smoke cover.
"What are you both trying to pull?" Touch asked, unaware that Danny and Mikey grabbed their weapons. "This silly fog will not protect for long and last I checked ghost boy, your powers are still out of commission for another two hours."
He suddenly felt someone tap his back and when he turned around, he was suddenly hit the face by the end of Mikey's nun chuck.
"What's the matter? Can't hit what you can't see?" Mikey taunted.
"As ninjas, we don't have that problem and I was trained to fight with or without powers." Danny said as he snuck up behind and kicked Touch in the back.
"And since you can't see us…." Mikey continued as he leapt up and punched Touch right in the face. "You probably can't see your buddy either."
Go finally managed to get Hun off him. Touch was starting to lose his energy quickly. Danny then said as he stood in front of a pillar, "And I'm betting if you can't get to him, once you run out of juice…."
He ducked just as Touch tried to swing a punch at him, only to end up hitting the pillar and because he was low on energy, the punch had no effect and instead caused pain to his hand.
Mikey stood beside Danny as they both finished, "You're out of luck!"
With one powerful combined kick, they hit Touch right in the stomach, sending him crashing right into Hun and Go and sending them flying out of the window. Hun managed to grab onto the edge of the building, but he watched as Touch and Go fell to the pavement below screaming.
Danny and Mikey watched as they hit the ground and there they were no longer moving and defeated.
Hun looked up and growled as Mikey said holding the briefcase with the money inside, "Hun my man! You sure throw one shell of a shindig."
"Oh and thanks for the lovely party favour." Danny added, high fiving his brother.
Splinter now back in his robes walked over and looked below to see the police arriving where Touch and Go had fallen. But he gasped as he saw there were no longer there, but only a dent remained from where they had landed.
"Come my sons. We must go." Splinter said. "It is not safe here."
As they left, Mikey then began to say, "Ya know sensei? This whole using your mind thing is really wild. First I thought, throw them in front of the train but then I thought, let them throw us in front of the train and then…."
"Yes, yes, yes my son. It is a brave new world for you." Splinter said with a sigh, although happy he finally learned his lesson, was now a bit annoyed at his bragging.
"We get it bro. You learned how to use your head. Let's go home." Danny said, patting his shoulder.
Jazz, Leatherhead and Donnie had just finished their work as Leo paced around worrying about Raph and Dani. Finally the two had entered the lair and he questioned the two of them, "Geeze Raph! I always said you were slow but come on! Where have you two been? What happened?"
Before they could answer, Danny, Splinter and Mikey had entered. Mikey intercepted as he showed them the briefcase, "Guys, you won't believe this! I have in my possession, a briefcase overflowing with possibilities."
He opened it, revealing the money inside and continued to suggest his ideas, "A truckload of rare comics. Twenty-two new TV's. Eight hundred and thirty-two consecutive days of Chinese take-out."
Raph and Dani however smiled at the money and both thought the same thing. Raph then spoke, "Actually Mikey, I think Dani and I have got a better idea."
The next night, Raph and Dani went back to Mrs Morrison's place and knocked on the door. She opened it and asked, "Who's there?"
"Hi Mrs Morrison. It's Danielle and Raphael and you're not going to believe what we found." Dani said, smiling at the old lady.
"What is it dear?" Mrs Morrison asked.
Raph held out the briefcase to her and answered, "We found this case on your doorstep. It's full of money and there's enough in there to pay off the mortgage of your house."
Mrs Morrison gasped in shock as she now held the briefcase. She asked in wonder, "Who could've done such a thing?"
"Know what I think? I think you got a guardian angel, who wants you to stay right where you belong." Raph said.
Mrs Morrison smiled warmly and said, "I can't believe it. Bless whoever did this. Bless their hearts."
