A truck is driving up the road. Catching up behind the truck was Raph, Donnie and Danny inside an open vehicle with Raph driving.
DONNIE: Warning; the stunt you are about to witness if performed by profession maniacs. Do not attempt this yourself.
Donnie and Danny stands up from their seats and held onto the side of the vehicle as Raph continued to drive.
Do not stand up in an open vehicle travelling of speeds up to ninety miles per hour.
Raph shifted the gear stick and the vehicle went faster, causing Danny and Donnie to nearly fall off. The driver of the truck saw them and began to try and ram them off the road, luckily Raph moved the vehicle in time.
If an eighteen-wheeler driven by a crazed whacko attempts to force you off the road, do not attempt to agitate said crazed whacko.
Donnie and Danny now stood on the hood of the vehicle as Raph sped up and got in closer. Danny then grabbed Donnie's hand and jumped, flying him to the back of the truck and then proceeded to the roof where he landed and tried to keep balance. Donnie opened the back of the truck and saw inside was a large, nuclear explosive device and its timer was counting down from forty seconds.
And lastly, never, ever attempt to disarm a homemade thermonuclear device located inside said high speed vehicle, unless you plan on kissing your shell goodbye!
Donnie looked at the device with fear. How was he going to disarm this very powerful destructive device while inside a high speed vehicle?
H.A.T.E
It was a beautiful, sunny day at Casey's grandmother's farmhouse. After fixing everything back at New York from the invasion, Master Splinter thought it was a good idea to go to the farmhouse for some much needed downtime.
And so Danny, the Turtles, Master Splinter, Jazz, April and Casey went on the trip. Even though the invitation was extended to Sam and Tucker, the two decided they were going to spend more time with their families after everything that happened.
Jazz was sitting under a tree across from the farmhouse reading her favourite book, Casey was sitting on the porch of the house and April stepped outside, stretching her arms and looking out a the beautiful forest scenery around them.
"Sure is beautiful up here this time of year." April commented.
"It's nice to get away from the city after all we've been through." Casey said and then added slowly which caught April's attention, "Together…you know downtime….alone. Just the two of us."
April smiled and asked, "So, what exactly are you trying to say to me Casey Jones?"
Casey stood up and smiled nervously as he held April's hands in his and began to say, "It's just that….you know…don't get me wrong. I don't wanna move too fast here or nothing, but….I've been thinking. Maybe…."
But before he could finish, the sound of Leo yelping was heard and the two split apart as he was thrown right at them. He hit the door and landed on the porch hard upside down. Jazz saw and grimaced.
"Don't mind us." Leo groaned as he slowly got up.
"HA! Much to slow my son!" Master Splinter said as he jumped over and delivered a kick, but Leo moved out of the way.
Splinter then said to April and Sam before going back to sparring against Leo, "Uh please. Go about your business."
April asked as they watched the two of them spar, "Hey, I thought you were all going to pick apples from the woods. What happened to that?"
Leo blocked the strike from Splinter as he answered, "That was Don and Danny. Although, Raph and Mikey said something about settling a bet!"
Jazz walked over to the house and asked, "Uh Master Splinter, I thought we came up for here for some rest and recuperation?"
"As I once said to Donatello, there is nothing more restful for a ninja than rigorous training." Splinter answered as he continued to spar against Leo. "Leonardo is showing dedication to perfecting his ninjustu skills by following that advice."
He then offered as he leapt over Leo, "Would you care to join us Jazz?"
Jazz shook her head and answered, "Maybe later."
In the woods, Danny and Donnie stood in front a couple of trees with an apple on their heads each.
"Don't move." Mikey told them both, as he and Raph aimed their arrows.
It seems both Raph and Mikey were having their own little archery contest, trying to see once again who was the best. Mikey fired his arrow at Donnie, cutting the apple right in half with a perfect bullseye. Raph then fired his arrow at Danny, also cutting the apple right in half with a perfect bullseye.
"Wahooo! / Bullseye!" Raph and Mikey cheered.
Danny and Donnie looked down at the piles of apple in front of them, all of them cut in half by Mikey and Raph's shooting perfectly.
They knew there was no way to determine a winner now, since they both managed to always get perfect shots. Donnie then announced, "That's it. After twenty consecutive double bullseyes, I'm officially declaring this contest a tie."
Mikey groaned in disappointment, "But we haven't even gotten to the blind-fold round yet."
Danny picked up an apple and held it in his hand as Donnie remind him, "Forget it William Tell. We came here to pick apples."
"Donnie's right. I mean, we have to bring at least one apple that's still…." Danny began to say, but was cut off when Mikey shot the apple out of his hand and Raph fired another arrow, splitting the apple in half.
"Intact." Danny finished with a frown.
Suddenly, the sounds of gun shots could be heard close by. They all hid in the trees and bushes as more were heard and the sounds of someone coming. A man wearing a green jacket and cargo pants came running until he collapsed and groaned in pain.
"Someone! Someone help!" The man pleaded as he laid on his side.
Donnie, Raph, Danny and Mikey came out and looked down at the man. Donnie turned him over as the man began to speak weakly, "Help me please. They've got a bomb….the city….aliens….that didn't want….not right….gone too far."
With those final words, the man fell unconscious. Donnie could see blood coming through his jacket and lifted it up to see his shoulder was bleeding.
"This man has been shot in the shoulder." Donnie said.
"What was he talking about? A bomb or something?" Raph asked, confused by the man's rambling.
"He went over this way / I see his tracks. Let's finish this / Come on!" Other male voices could be heard in the woods.
"I'll stay here and do what I can for him." Donnie said. "You guys need to lead the others away from here."
Raph, Danny and Mikey immediately headed off and Donnie pulled the injured man deep into the bushes, taking him somewhere safe to provide much needed medical attention. Donnie then looked over to see standing there holding guns were three men.
The main leader was named Skunk who had white and black hair and he was wearing a black shirt with a red cross in the middle, green pants and combat boots, sunglasses and a red headband.
"I don't know Skunk. Hunting down one of our own? Isn't that a little extreme?" Skunk's associate, a man named Puke asked.
Skunk shook his head and answered, "Nothing is too extreme in the fight against the alien menace Puke. Remember who we are? We're Humans Against The Extra-Terrestrials and Michael knew the rules as a member of H.A.T.E. Our cause is a life-long commitment. No-one leaves."
Seeing how their leader was serious, Puke dropped the matter. Skunk then ordered the two, "Now find him. He's wounded, so he won't get far. I have to go back to the base and make some last minute preparations. We've come too far to allow one traitor to ruin the entire mission."
Skunk then left, leaving Puke and his partner to go and find who they identified as the injured man Michael.
One of the men went in one direction, while Puke went in the other. The man treaded cautiously through the woods, unaware that Raph was aiming one of his arrows at him. He fired the arrow, hitting the hat right off his head perfectly. The man fired his gun at the tree where Raph shot the arrow and smirked as the tree was destroyed, believing he took care of his enemy.
He was about to grab his hat, when suddenly Danny jumped right in on him in his ghost form and knocked him out with a kick to the face. The man groaned as he fell on his back and became unconscious. Raph came out and stood beside Danny, high-fiving him for their teamwork.
Puke heard the shots and stood on the hill, looking down at his fallen friend and aimed his weapon at Danny and Raph. He couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at them and shouted in shock, "It's true! Aliens!"
He focused his aim sneered, "Eat grenades space-slime!"
He fired several missiles at Danny and Raph, the noise of the shots catching their attention. They both flipped out of the way, dodging the attack. One of the missiles hit a tree and it landed right on top of Raph and Danny, trapping them underneath.
Puke walked up to them and said, "Skunk was right. You space punks haven't left Earth."
He aimed his weapon at them, ready to take them out as he said, "Your martian butts are mine."
Before he could pull the trigger, Mikey threw an apple straight at the back of Puke's head, causing the human to yelp in pain. Mikey laughed, but then stopped as Puke then aimed his weapon at him and fired.
The missile hit dead on and the tree was destroyed. Puke suddenly felt hands pull the gun out of his hands and turned around to see Mikey now holding the gun and he was alive.
"Hey pal, didn't your mum ever tell you about these things? You'll put your eye out kid!" Mikey said as he threw the weapon away.
Puke backed up as Mikey came closer and sneered, "We're on to you E.T!"
He tripped backwards over a log behind him as Danny phased himself and Raph out from under the tree. Mikey teased as Puke got back up and continued to fearfully walk backwards, "E.T….Phone home…."
Puke now found himself trapped as he was backed up against a boulder. He pulled out a nun-chuck and warned, "Stay back! Keep away from me!"
Mikey smirked as he saw the weapon and said with a chuckle, "This is just too good to be true."
He pulled out his own nun-chucks and began to spin them around professionally, shocking Puke and making him even more afraid of Mikey. Mikey then used his weapon to break Puke's belt, causing his pants to fall down and reveal his boxer shorts with little green aliens on them. Puke's eyes rolled and he fainted right before Mikey.
On the other side of the woods, a make-shift base stood and all the people there gathered as Skunk made his speech, "Faithful members of Humans Against The Extra-Terrestrials, today we make history. Today, we show those alien slime-bags that you don't mess with the human race! Not when H.A.T.E is on the job!"
The men cheered and then Skunk continued, "You've heard the lies! The aliens were defeated and all is safe. Well….don't believe it!"
He climbed down off the roof and showed the news posters as he spoke, "Look at the news! Aliens attack in subway skirmish….aliens in our sewers….mob chasing alien in alleys! And what do these sightings have in common?"
One of them answered, "Uh….aliens?"
"No!...well yeah…but no. What else?" Skunk asked.
All of them then answered, "NEW YORK CITY!"
Skunk crushed up the posters as he said in anger, "That's right! They're dug deep in the Big Apple and nobody is doing a freaking thing about it! Until now."
He went over to the barn door and opened it up to reveal all different types of vehicles. He walked over to the truck and opened the back of the trailer and said as he pressed a button to open the door, "This is the last best hope for the human race."
The door opened to reveal inside was some sort of homemade explosive device. Skunk then finished, "And we're gonna blow it up right in the middle of Alien Central."
His men cheered, ready to proceed with their plan of cleansing New York of its so-called alien problem.
Danny, Raph and Mikey returned back to Donnie as he was finishing bandaging Michael's shoulder. Mikey asked, "Don, how's the patient?"
"I've done all I can do for him here." Donnie answered. "We need to get him to a hospital fast."
"I can take him in the side-car of my bike." Mikey said and then ran off to his bike.
Raph then asked as he, Danny and Donnie carried Michael over to the bike and gently placed him in the sidecar, "What about that bomb he was babbling about? I thought I heard the leader guy say something about a base."
Mikey put on his jacket and helmet and then took off to the hospital. Danny then said, "I think I might know where the base is. When I went flying the other day, I saw some sort of barn with sand-bags and everything around it. I can't remember exactly where I saw it, but I know a little bit of where to go from here."
"Then let's go and find it." Donnie said and the team of three took off into the woods.
Meanwhile, Casey and April were going for a walk together down the road. They held each other's hands as Casey once again tried to speak to April, "Anyway, what I was trying to say before….I mean…now that we're….you know and all….maybe it's time we…."
He was cut off by the sounds of a car coming towards them, the horn blaring. They quickly let go of each other's hands and jumped out of the way just before the car could hit them. April could see from the back, the driver was female as the car pulled up at the front of the house.
"Hey! Watch where you're driving lady!" April shouted at the driver as she and Casey headed towards the car.
Casey recognised the car though and tried to stop April, "April wait! Hang on a second!"
The woman came out, revealing herself to be a middle-aged woman who looked a little bit like Casey with long black hair and was slightly muscular. She wore a sleeveless yellow shirt and brown vest, jeans, boots and glasses.
She frowned at April and retorted, "Yeah? Why don't you watch where you're standing?"
She walked over to Casey and asked, "Who is this crazy woman Arnold?"
Casey groaned in embarrassment, "Ma! I told you never to call me that!"
April now realised that this woman was Casey's mother, Tiffany Jones. Casey held April's hand as he then introduced her formerly, "Ma, this is April. You know? The girl I've been telling you about?"
Tiffany looked surprised as she said, "Oh really? I finally get to meet the mystery woman? I don't know how many months I've been hearing about your fiancé."
That definitely took April by surprise, "Fiancé?"
She frowned as she grabbed Casey by the ear and dragged him by the house as she said, "May I have a word with you in private dear?"
Casey yelped as he was dragged by his ear inside where Jazz was sitting on the couch reading a book and Leo and Splinter were sitting on the floor meditating. Their activities were interrupted as Casey closed the door and then April asked with a glare, "Did you tell your mother we're engaged?!"
"No!" Casey first answered. He then saw the glare on April and knew he couldn't lie. He looked down in embarrassment and admitted, "Kinda."
April growled in frustration and walked towards the fireplace, standing there with her arms crossed. Casey stood in front of her and held her shoulders gently as he explained, "You gotta understand. My mother hated every girl I ever bought home, so I just told her that to shut her up. I never thought she'd come looking for ya! I just wanted her to like you is all, because you're….you know….special."
All the anger April felt, was suddenly gone when he said those last few words. She smiled at him gently as she asked, "Really?"
Casey smiled back and the two leaned in, about to kiss but they both stopped when they saw they still had their small audience still watching them. April said frowning at them, "Um….don't mind us guys?"
Splinter cleared his throat and said to Leo and Jazz, "Perhaps we should continue our activities elsewhere?"
Tiffany began to bang on the door as she called out, "Are you going to make stand outside alone all day?!"
Casey immediately ran over to the door to try and stop his mother from coming in. The last thing she needed to see was a giant turtle and rat in the living room.
"Don't come in Mrs Jones! The place is a big mess," April lied to try and keep her out as well.
But even Casey couldn't keep the door from being slammed open by Tiffany. She walked inside, but Leo and Splinter managed to make themselves disappear just in time, leaving only April, Casey and Jazz in the living room.
Tiffany walked in and saw the place and commented, "Oh it's not that bad dear, if you don't mind living in a pig sty."
She then saw Jazz and asked, "And who is this?"
"Oh….uh….this is my uh….cousin! She's staying with me in New York as she goes to school there." April lied.
Jazz smiled and shook Tiffany's hand as she introduced herself, "Yep that's right. It's nice to meet you Mrs Jones. I'm Jasmine, but everyone calls me Jazz."
"Nice to meet you Jazz." Tiffany said to her, shaking back.
Back with Danny, Donnie and Raph, the three of them finally managed to find some tracks left by Skunk. Raph commented as he looked down at the tracks, "Ah! Piece of cake. These wackos got a lot to learn about covering their tracks."
Donnie then reminded him, "Just remember, these wackos are playing with some very dangerous toys and, we don't know how many of them there are."
"I say bring them on." Raph said, wanting a challenge.
Raph's wish was about to come true, as the sounds of vehicles coming towards them could be heard. Suddenly a few bushes and trees exploded as four members of H.A.T.E suddenly burst out of their hiding places on four-wheeled bikes and began firing at Danny, Donnie and Raph with their weapons.
Danny quickly changed into his ghost form and formed a dome shield around the three of them, the blasts deflecting off it and hitting the trees around them, causing a lot of smoke and explosions. When they cleared, the men found Danny, Raph and Donnie no longer standing there.
April continued to stand at the front of the house with Casey and Jazz as Tiffany was grabbing her bag from the car, still mad at the fact that Casey told his mother a lie.
"Sorry April. My mother has a way of ticking people off." Casey apologised.
"It's not your mum I'm angry with." April said. "She and I just got off on the wrong foot."
"Well there's one way of getting on the right foot with her." Jazz suggested, noticing that Tiffany was having a little trouble pulling out her suitcase.
Just as Tiffany managed to pull out the case, April walked over and offered, "Here, let me help you that."
Tiffany however refused, "What do I look like? Some feeble old lady who can't carry her own bag?"
"Sorry. I was just…" April began to apologise, but Tiffany cut her off as she placed her bag down, "Here, see if you can make yourself useful."
She opened the boot of her car to reveal ten baskets full of apples. She then told April, "Mrs Snogress down the road gave me ten bushels of her apples. You can haul them out to the barn."
"I'll give you a hand April." Jazz offered.
Casey even offered to help, "I can help to Ma."
"No!" Tiffany snapped as she slapped Casey on the head.
She pointed at Casey and said, "You Arnold can go into town and do the marketing. I have a list inside."
She glared at April as she said, "I don't like to trust my money with strangers."
She then turned to Jazz and asked, "As for you Jasmine, be a dear and help me in the kitchen."
Jazz gave an apologetic look to April, wishing she could help her but then followed Tiffany inside. Casey then looked at April and followed behind as well. Before April could say anything, the door closed. She growled before grabbing one of the baskets.
Leo came out and offered, "Need a hand?"
April nodded and Leo followed April to the barn carrying two of the baskets. Splinter opened the door for them, allowing the two to enter and place the baskets down. April then said as she crossed her arms, "Now I know where Casey gets his ability to be so annoying. His mother."
Master Splinter smiled and advised, "Do not take her disapproval personally Miss O'Neil. Parents can be very overprotective of their children."
That made April smile. Leo smirked and said with a laugh as he knows how overprotective Splinter can be, "Tell me about it."
Donnie continued to dodge the blasts coming from the ones that were chasing after him. He used his staff and held it out, hitting the men in their chests and knocking them off the bike. The bike sped off into a large ditch and exploded.
One was unconscious, while the other groaned in pain as he stood back up. Donnie stood and faced him. The man pulled out a taser and charged at the ninja turtle, but Donnie spun his staff and knocked the taser right out his hand, causing it to fall right on top of him and shock him till he was unconscious.
Raph and Danny continued to run from their pursuers, dodging the blasts that came from their gun. Raph then called out as they came to another large ditch, "SPLIT UP DAN!"
Danny nodded and turned invisible, while Raph jumped into the ditch. The men pulled up the bike just at the edge of the ditch. The one driving climbed off and saw Raph walking along the side wall of the ditch.
He smirked as he aimed his arrow at Raph and said, "Game over space freak."
He pulled the trigger of his crossbow and fired the arrow, aiming right at Raph's chest. Raph however sensed the arrow coming and caught the arrow with only one hand, taking the man by shock. The man looked away as he re-loaded another arrow in his crossbow and aimed once again, only to find Raph was no longer there.
If he had looked down just below his feet, he would've seen Raph was now positioned right underneath him. He reached out his green hands and yanked the man by his feet right into the ditch. He climbed back on the edge and watched as the man tumble all the way down hard.
"Ooh! That hurts!" Raph commented, ducking in time as the other one began firing at him.
Just when he was about to fire another round, he suddenly found his weapon now completely frozen solid in ice. He was suddenly blasted right off the bike by Danny and before he could react, Danny landed a solid kick right at this face, turning his world black.
Tiffany and Jazz followed April to the barn. April showed them the neatly stacked baskets of apple as she said, "Here you are Mrs Jones. All neatly stacked."
"I can see that dear. But they aren't peeled." Tiffany said.
April's eyes widened, indicating that now she wanted her to peel the apples. April struggled to smile as she said, "I'd be happy to peel them."
Tiffany handed her a peeler and said, "Good. Try not to bruise them up too much."
"Come along Jasmine. We better get started on the dough." She then said to Jazz.
"Uh….I was thinking of giving April a hand this time Mrs Jones." Jazz said.
"No dear. I still need you in the kitchen." Tiffany said.
"Sorry about this April." Jazz said and then followed Tiffany back to the house.
April growled as Splinter and Leo came out of their hiding spots, "There's just no pleasing that woman."
Leo however pulled out his swords and rubbed them together, showing he was going to help peel those apples ninja style.
Meanwhile at the nearest hospital, a doctor and a nurse were outside with the unconscious Michael. Mikey hid by the wall and watched as they checked him over.
"We have an unidentified male. Shoulder wound and multiple fractures." The nurse said, describing Michael's injuries.
The doctor checked his eyes and then said, "Let's bring him in."
Mikey watched as the nurse and doctor lifted him on a stretcher and took him inside. Mikey said as he got back on his bike, "Sorry for the drop and dash pal, but you're in good hands now."
Skunk paced back and forth near two other members. He was starting to get impatient as they were waiting for the other members to return.
"The bomb is good to go. Why haven't the patrols reported in?" Skunk wondered.
He then heard a noise and could see in the distance one of their vehicles returning.
"About time." Skunk muttered as he pulled out his binoculars to see them, only to find the bike was empty and full of their weapons.
"What the….." Skunk said in confusion and then looked at the back of the bike to see petrol leaking out the back.
Donnie then came out and turned on the taser, shocking the start of the fuel trail and setting in alight. The fire spread quickly among the trail and was catching up to the bike as it came closer to the base.
"We're under attack! Take cover!" Skunk shouted and he and his other men took cover as the bike crashed into the pile of tires.
The flames reached the back and the bike and weapons exploded in a ball of flames. Danny, Donnie and Raph ran over to the barn to try and find the bomb. It was dark, but they had enough light to look around.
"Keep your eyes peeled for anything that looks like a bomb." Donnie said.
Raph and Danny saw something and went towards the truck. Donnie then noticed and whimpered in fear at the sight of the thing.
"Does this fit the bill?" Raph asked as he and Danny stood in front of it.
"Don't touch that thing." Donnie warned them as he came over and saw the timer. "That's not just any ordinary bomb. It's a thermonuclear device and it's armed!"
"What are these maniacs doing with a nuke?" Danny asked.
"Wasting alien scum like you." Skunk answered as he entered the barn and held the three of them at gunpoint.
Donnie, Raph and Danny stood very still and held their hands up in the air. Skunk then sneered at them, "Thought you alien garbage could stop me from taking out your stronghold in New York City? Well, guess again."
"Dude, you are the fourth serious crazed-up fruitloop I have met. We have no idea what you're talking about." Danny said.
Skunk however wouldn't listen and just snapped, "Deny it all you want, but nothing will stop me from keeping this planet safe for the human race! Nothing!"
Donnie acted quickly before he could pull the trigger. He leapt and knocked him back with his staff, causing him to fall on his back. Raph then jumped and kicked the gun right out of his hand. Skunk pulled out a pocket knife from his boot, but Danny saw it and sliced it in half with his sword, causing him to drop it.
Skunk looked up at them fearfully. Raph smirked and ordered, "Look, why don't you make like a good little H.A.T.E monger and disarm your nuke?"
"Why don't you make like a good little alien and eat this!" Skunk shouted as he pulled out smoke spray and sprayed it right in their faces, blinding them for a moment and causing them to cough.
With them distracted, Skunk ran to the truck and hopped into the driver's seat. He drove the truck right through the wall and shouted as he began to drive towards the main road, "You aliens will perish! Every last one of ya!"
"Do I feel like a sucker? I'm just Mikey wasn't here to see us lose to the bad guy." Raph commented.
"We'll never catch him now, even with my speedy flying." Danny said.
Raph smirked as he saw an open vehicle and said, "Never say never Danny."
With that, they took the car and began to go after Skunk in a high-speed chase.
Jazz and Tiffany came out to the barn and saw that all the apples had been peeled. Jazz smiled, knowing that a certain sword-wielding ninja turtle gave April a hand.
April smiled proudly and said, "There you go. Peeled and cored."
Tiffany however simply said, "You did them all? I only needed a dozen for the pie."
April growled in frustration as Tiffany bent down and grabbed some apples, placing them in a bowel. Jazz then said, "Mrs Jones, to be fair you didn't tell April that. You asked her to peel the apples. You didn't specify how many you actually wanted to be peeled."
Tiffany however shrugged and said as she stood back up, "Oh well. May as well press the rest into cider before they rot."
April had enough. She finally decided to speak up, "Listen, I'm getting a little frustrated with you giving me orders all the time. I would prefer to be treated as an adult, who happens to care a great deal about your son. I think I deserve a little respect."
Tiffany however was completely unfazed by her speech and said as she walked out of the barn, "Well all that negativity won't get those apples pressed dear."
April was left dumbfounded by Tiffany's behaviour. Jazz then said, "Wow! She is tough to impress."
Splinter and Leo peaked out from the cart. Leo then said, "Right. Let's get started on the cider."
Raph drove the car at top speed, they managed to catch up to Skunk. Skunk saw then with his side mirror and sneered, "Those alien scums are still trying to stop me! I'll show em'. Nobody stops Humans Against the Extra-Terrestrials!"
Each time Raph drove the car to the other lane, Skunk cut them off by driving in the same lane. He tried ramming them off the road, but Raph managed to moved out of the way each time.
Raph then said to Danny and Donnie, "This is where you two get off!"
"Since when are we supposed to do the crazy stuff?" Donnie asked. "That's you're department Raph!"
"Just go!" Raph repeated, showing there was no time for arguing.
Donnie and Danny stood up from their seats and held onto the side of the vehicle as Raph continued to drive. He shifted the gear stick and the vehicle went faster, causing Danny and Donnie to nearly fall off.
Mikey was driving down the road, heading back as he kept complimenting himself, "He's king of the cycle. The main man of the motorbike. He's Turtle Kenurtle and he…."
He stopped as the saw the truck heading right for him. He yelped as he moved right out of the way and went out of control off the road. Mikey jumped off the bike and rolled down the hill hard. He sat up and saw Danny, Raph and Donnie going after the truck.
"Hey! My bros!" Mikey shouted.
Donnie and Danny now stood on the hood of the vehicle as Raph sped up and got in closer. Danny then grabbed Donnie's hand and jumped, flying him to the back of the truck and then proceeded to the roof where he landed and tried to keep balance.
Donnie opened the back of the truck and quickly climbed in, holding onto the bomb inside and said nervously, "Okay. Now all I have to do is remove the plutonium core….at ninety miles an hour with a maniac at the wheel!"
Skunk continued to try and ram Raph off the road, but Raph was really good at driving that he managed to evade Skunk's crazy driving each time as he managed to drive up to the side. Danny continued to walk across the roof and then jumped down onto the roof the truck part.
Danny then climbed into the passenger side and said as he grabbed the wheel, "Remember me?"
Skunk and Danny fought for control of the wheel. Raph jumped from the car and grabbed onto the side of the truck, climbing inside and also grabbed the wheel trying to help Danny.
"You're not going to stop me! Nobody's gonna stop me!" Skunk grunted as he continued to fight over the wheel, causing the truck to move crazily over the road.
Donnie was holding the last two wires in his hand, trying to keep steady as he slowly moved his knife over to the wire that he needed to cut to deactivate the bomb. However, the truck lurched to the side causing Donnie to cut a wire, but it wasn't the right one.
"IT'S THE WRONG WIRE!" Donnie shouted with fear.
The timer was now active, counting down from twenty seconds. He then shouted to Danny through the peep window of the truck, "Guys! The nuke's activated! Bail out now!"
Danny pulled his fist back and punched Skunk right in the face, knocking him unconscious. Danny and Raph then grabbed Skunk and jumped out of the truck, rolling down the hill back into the woods
Donnie rode a platform out of the back of the truck holding something in his arm as he shouted, "Cowabunga!"
Donnie jumped off the platform and rolled down the hill, landing next to Raph and Danny. He then told the others, "Guys, get down!"
They got down to the ground and covered their ears. The bomb then exploded, causing the truck to be destroyed in a fiery blaze, leaving nothing but smoke and fire. Danny then asked as he noticed they weren't destroyed by the bomb, "Shouldn't we be vaporised or something?"
Donnie showed them the plutonium core in his hand as he explained, "That wasn't a nuclear explosion. I removed the plutonium core, but all your crazy driving made me accidentally set off the detonating charge. That's what blew up."
After tying the unconscious Skunk up and leaving the core with him for the police, Danny changed back into his human form as he, Donnie and Raph walked down the hill.
Raph then said, "Hope the authorities don't mind handling the little gift we left for them."
Mikey drove up to them in his bike and offered, "Hey, you guys need a ride?"
Casey walked into the kitchen and asked as he saw April and Jasmine cleaning up the kitchen, "I'm back. How'd it go with Ma?"
"Let me put it this way; we haven't killed each other….yet." April answered, before pushing back a little bit of hair out of her eyes.
Tiffany then entered the kitchen holding a plate with a slice of apple pie and a glass of apple cider as she said with a bright smile towards April, "Arnold Casey Jones, I only have one thing to say…..I really like this girl! She passed the strength test, the patience test, the endurance test, the assertiveness and she makes pretty good apple cider too."
She handed April the plate and glass as she said warmly, "Here, have some pie and cider dear."
April accepted the offer, "Uh….thanks Mrs Jones."
"Call me Ma. You've earned it and Jazz, there's a plate of pie for you as well in the living room." Tiffany said. "You helped me make a really nice apple pie and you're really lucky to have April here as your cousin."
"Thank you Mrs Jones." Jazz said, smiling at Tiffany.
"Oh and don't you two worry about the dishes, Arnold will help take care of them after he helps me outside." Tiffany said and Casey smiled, glad to see his mother approved of April.
After placing the groceries down, Casey went outside with his mother. Standing on the porch, Casey finally decided to tell the truth, "Ma, I got a confession to make. April and I….we're not really engaged."
Tiffany smiled gently at Casey as she said, "Oh Arnold, you really didn't think your mother couldn't figure out that one for herself?"
She continued to smile, showing she wasn't mad at him for lying to her. She then held her son by his shoulders and said, "One more thing, you don't have to tell me now, but someday I'd really like to hear that story behind the big rat and the giant turtle that have been hiding in the barn all day."
They were unaware that Leo and Splinter heard that as they listened from the barn. Now, there was another person who knew about their existence.
