Several lasers were being fired at Vlad Plasmius as he was flying throughout the dimension known as, the Ghost Zone. His pursuers; were none other than Danny, Donnie, Raph, Sam and Tucker in the Spectre Speeder.
DANNY: It's amazing how something starting out as simple, can turn into chaos. Take right here for example, it started off with us simply visiting the Ghost Zone in the Spectre Speeder for the very first time, but now it has turned into a high speed chase to try and get back something that Vlad had stolen from a friend of ours.
Vlad dodged each of the blasts coming at his way and continued to fly. He looked back and glared at his enemies. He then looked ahead and saw a portal and flew right into it.
Donnie pressed down on the accelerator and flew right into the portal as well.
The only problem is trying to track him down through both time and space. Hopefully we can stop him….before full on chaos happens.
THE INFI-MAP
At Foot HQ, Vlad was at his computer monitoring his scans of the Ghost Zone. He was searching for something that would help his and Saki's plans.
Saki then entered the room and asked, "Vlad, anything?"
"Nothing yet I'm afraid. The object we seek has been hidden very well." Vlad answered, gesturing to the computer screen. "Technus however has upgraded the scans to detect the slightest energy signature from it. No matter where it is, the scanners will pick it up eventually. It will take time though."
Saki nodded and then said, "Time is something we have, especially thanks to our little partnership with the mayor who still has no idea that he has given us complete access to the Triceraton technology they left behind after their invasion."
Vlad smirked and continued to look at the screen. Saki was about to leave when suddenly the computer made a noise. Vlad entered the codes on the keyboard and then the cameras zoomed in on something. Both their eyes widened as they saw it on the computer.
"I was right. It does exist and now I have its location." Vlad said as he placed the co-ordinates on a tech-pad.
He then pressed a button on the computer and spoke through it, "Technus, have the portal opened and ready. I'll send through the co-ordinates."
He then began to head out of the office as Saki asked, "You're not sending Valerie this time?"
Vlad shook his head and answered as he changed into his ghost form, "No. Something special like this, calls for it to be tested and retrieved personally."
In the lair that night, Danny, Leo, Raph, Sam, Tucker and Mikey all stood in Donnie's lab. On the wall, he had something hidden by a cloth.
"Lady and gentlemen, after weeks of working on it and months and gathering enough ectoplasm to make it work, I have here the opportunity to finally check out the Ghost Zone." Donnie announced.
He then pulled down the cloth to reveal a metal doorway and it was glowing green in a swirl of energy. He then finished with a smile, "Behold, the Ghost Portal! Thanks to Maddie sharing some of her notes on when she helped build the transmat, I was finally able to create a portal. Now we can explore the Ghost Zone."
"Dude, this awesome!" Tucker said, smiling brightly.
Donnie then turned to the Spectre Speeder and asked, "Now, who'd like to join me for the first exploration?"
"We're in!" Tucker and Sam both said at the same time.
"I'll definitely come." Danny said, showing some excitement. "Who knows what all kinds of super cool things are on the other side of that portal?"
"I got training with Master Splinter today. Maybe next time." Leo said, declining the offer.
"And I'm going with Casey to get some more comic books. It's free comics day!" Mikey said, brimming with excitement over the thought of receiving free comics.
Raph then shrugged and said, "Alright. Guess I'm coming."
The team of five then climbed into the Spectre Speeder. Donnie then started the engines and drove the vehicle right into the portal. As soon as they entered, the found themselves in a world full of green. Danny sighed as he felt his ghost half feeling energised. All around them were floating islands and floating purple doors in what seemed to be a never ending sea of ectoplasmic energy.
They even recognised one of the islands as the place where the giant wasps was. Sam was the first to comment as they observed their environment, "This place is amazing."
"It's a little creepy looking." Raph commented.
"I wonder where all these doors lead to?" Tucker wondered.
"I'll go and check one out." Danny volunteered.
Donnie stopped the Speeder in front of one of the doors. Danny changed into his ghost form and phased out of the vehicle. He then opened the door, revealing what appeared to be a child sitting in the middle of a living room, staring at a television in static mode.
"Um….hi there?" Danny said, friendly.
The child's head then turned fully around and he glared at Danny, giving off a predatory growl. He suddenly changed into a purple spiky monster as he roared at Danny, "Get…out…of….my….ROOM!"
"Sorry! Sorry!" Danny exclaimed and immediately ran out of there and slammed the door shut.
He phased back into the Speeder with the others, changed back into his human form and said, "Looks like all these doors lead to another ghost's lair."
"Amazing." Donnie commented and continued to fly the vehicle through the Zone. "Looks like it's possible to travel through many different doorways and some of these could either lead to Earth or other dimensions."
Sam then noticed something through her window and said, "Guys, I see smoke coming from that island on my side."
They all looked through Sam's window and saw what she saw. It was a huge island covered with snow and ice, but there seemed to be smoke rising from it. Raph then asked, "Think we should check it out?"
"But we don't even know what kind of ghosts could be living there." Tucker said.
"It doesn't matter. If someone needs help, we better take a look." Danny said.
Donnie nodded and began to fly the Speeder towards the island. They floated over and it and saw down was what used to be some kind of village. The huts were all set aflame and the ghosts seemed to be hurt.
Danny, Donnie and Raph's eyes widened as they recognised the ghosts. They were all yeti-like ghosts.
"This must be where Frostbite and his people live." Donnie said as he landed the Speeder.
As they came out, Sam and Tucker pulled out their coats and placed them on as it was indeed very cold in this vast and frozen wasteland. Some of the ghosts saw them and growled. They immediately came over and pointed their spears at them.
"Leave our village now strangers!" One of them warned.
"Wait! We're not here to hurt anyone. We're looking for a ghost named Frostbite. He's a friend of ours." Danny tried to explain.
"Hold your spears! These are indeed friends of mine." Frostbite's voice could be heard at the back.
The ghosts lowered their spears and stood aside, allowing Frostbite to come through. One of the Frostbite's arms was in a sling, showing that he had been injured from whatever attacked his home and from the looks of his people, they too had suffered injuries and losses as well.
"Hello my friends. It is good to see you, but I'm afraid you all had come at a very bad time." Frostbite said, sadness could be seen in his eyes.
"Frostbite, what happened here?" Raph asked.
"Come to my hut and I shall tell you." Frostbite said.
They all followed him to his hut. They took seats on the rocks and then Frostbite began to explain what happened, "Our guard was down. You see today is the day we have our annual warrior games. It's a rite of passage for our young ones and so, we were all down at the stadium enjoying the festivities when suddenly, out of no-where a ghost who duplicated himself into so many ambushed us. He attacked our village and my people and during our distraction, stole our most powerful treasure; the Infi-Map."
"The Infi-Map?" They all asked at once.
He opened the book and a holographic picture showing the map appeared as he explained, "My people and I have guarded the artefact for millennia. It can lead any user to any natural portal of the Ghost Zone and take you anywhere you wish to go. Not just through space, but through time as well."
"There are natural portals to the Ghost Zone?" Donnie asked.
Frostbite nodded and continued, "One example of this is an area you call, the Bermuda Triangle."
"That explains all those mysterious disappearances! Everything that goes there ends up in the Ghost Zone." Sam concluded, finally knowing about one of the world's greatest mysteries.
"Indeed young one. Travellers would often pass quickly through before leaving through another portal, but not always in the time period they came from and the portals only remain open for a short time before closing forever. But however, in the wrong hands the map can be very dangerous." Frostbite said, looking at them in seriousness. "Many of my people perished in the attack. We must get the map back."
"Who stole it Frostbite?" Tucker asked.
"His said his name was Plasmius. Vlad Plasmius." Frostbite answered.
"Plasmius!" They all shouted in shock.
"You know him?" Frostbite asked.
"He's a half-ghost like Danny here. His name is Vlad Masters, but in his ghost form as you met his name is Vlad Plasmius." Donnie explained.
"Which means the Shredder is involved in this as well." Raph added.
"We have to get the map back." Danny said. "The problem is, Vlad could be anywhere with the map right now."
Tucker then thought of something and then asked Donnie, "Do you still have that scanner from the Triceratons Donnie?"
Donnie nodded and pulled it out of his bag. Tucker connected the scanner to his PDA and then asked Frostbite, "Can you show us where the map was being held?"
Frostbite led them to the cave where the map was. Tucker held the scanner over the opened the chest and scanned some of the energy onto it. He then typed some stuff on his PDA which now had a map of the Ghost Zone.
The PDA beeped and then Tucker smiled and said, "Yes! We got him! By connecting my PDA to the scanner, I was able to pick up on the energy of the Infi-Map…."
"Using it as a signal to trace it…." Donnie continued.
"And find its exact location!" Tucker and Donnie finished at the same time.
"Tucker, you're a genius!" Donnie complimented.
"Frostbite, you stay here and look after your people and village. We will find Plasmius and get the map back." Danny said, determined to not let Frostbite down.
"Thank you my friends and I wish you luck on your quest." Frostbite said, bowing to them gratefully.
They got back into the Speeder and took off, following the signal. Donnie then warned them, "We have to be careful guys. If Vlad is testing out the map, it means that whatever portal we go through could be in a different time period. Which means, we have to be careful wherever and whenever we end up in."
"So, where do we start Tucker?" Sam asked.
Tucker looked down at his PDA and then pointed at a portal. Donnie drove the Speeder through it and the next thing they knew, they found themselves inside a clock tower. They climbed out and then Danny changed into his ghost form and flew them down into what appeared to be a town of some sorts.
He landed them down behind a house and they all looked out from the side after Danny turned them visible and saw the people wearing old style clothing from the 1600's. Raph then asked, "So, what's with all the weird clothes?"
Sam then answered, "I know when and where we are. We're in Salem, Massachusetts in the early 1600's. The people of this town used to punish completely innocent people here because they thought they were witches."
"That's just crazy." Raph commented.
"I remember reading about it. They would either drown them, throw them off cliffs, hang them or burn them at the stake." Donnie said.
"But why would Vlad test the map here of all places?" Danny asked.
"I don't know, but we better find him and get out of here." Tucker said, remembering what Frostbite had told them about the portals. "We don't how long the portal will remain open here."
Sam stepped out a little bit to see if she could see Vlad, but then suddenly found herself now caught in a net. The people surrounded her with torches and pitchforks and everything, looking at her with hate and fear.
"Sam! No!" Donnie, Danny, Tucker and Raph all shouted.
"Let me go! I'm not a witch!" Sam shouted at the people.
Vlad suddenly stepped up, wearing the same kind of clothing the people were wearing and said with a smirk, "Don't listen to her! She is a witch! Look at her clothes! Clearly the wardrobe of someone who meddles with the dark arts of witchcraft."
"That's it! I'm stepping in!" Danny said and began to fly towards Sam to save her and grab the map off Vlad.
Vlad didn't do anything or made any moves to stop Danny from coming after him. He continued to grin before shouting, "Behold! An evil spirit has come to rescue his dark mistress!"
The people began to panic, but then suddenly a large man wearing an orange cloak jumped out and stood near Sam and Vlad, holding a basket full of flowers. Danny's eyes widened as he thought the man standing before him looked exactly like his father Jack Fenton.
"Stand back I pray thee! For I, John Fenton Nightingale Salem's greatest witch tracker, shall vanquish this demon and save us all!" The man announced.
He then began to run in a circle, dropping the flowers in a circular ring. Donnie looked at the flowers and instantly recognised them and called out to Danny, "Dan! Stop! Don't go near those flowers!"
But it was too late, before Danny could ask about the flowers, he suddenly felt a burning sensation as he was hit by the aroma of the flowers and knocked back, falling to the ground feeling a bit weak.
"These flowers not only stop demons and ghosts, but they make a tasty treat as well." John said with a bright smile as he placed some of the strange coloured flowers onto some bread.
He took a bite and said still smiling brightly, "There! My insides are now ghost free."
Vlad applauded the man, "Well done John Fenton Nightingale. Salem thanks thee."
Vlad bent down and spoke to Danny, still grinning, "It's called Blood Blossom dear boy. An ancient anti-ghost remedy that used to grow all around Salem. It's an extremely rare flower to find back in our time. It's kind of like one of your Spectre Deflectors, but stay in the circle for too long and you will perish."
He then grabbed Danny and threw him into the circle as he said, "I will now finish the spirit!"
As soon as Danny landed in the circle, his body began to glow red and he began to scream in pain as the flowers began to affect him. It felt as if a thousand pins and needles were hitting him all at once.
"DANNY!" Sam screamed.
Forgetting about not being seen, Donnie, Raph and Tucker all ran out from their hiding place to go and held Danny, while Vlad laughed and ran off heading back to the portal to continue to test the power of the Infi-Map.
"Raph, free Sam from the net! Tucker, help me get Danny out of the circle!" Donnie ordered.
Raph pulled out his sais and leapt up to the top of the net, cutting the top and freeing Sam from the net. Donnie and Tucker each grabbed one of Danny's arms and pulled him out of the circle, but the flowers continued to cause poor Danny so much pain that his screams became louder.
"It's still hurting him! Donnie, what do we do?!" Tucker asked, panicking about his friend.
"We have to get rid of them somehow! It's the only way." Donnie answered.
"How?!" Raph and Tucker pressed.
Donnie tried thinking, but then Sam thought back to John and remembered how he ate the flowers. She then voiced out her idea, "Tucker, Donnie, Raph, you guys have to eat all the Blood Blossoms!"
"What?! But I never have eaten a vegetable in my life!" Tucker exclaimed, horrified of the thought of breaking his all-meat eating streak.
"JUST DO IT!" Raph snapped and he picked up a flower and began to eat it.
Donnie did the same thing. Tucker pinched his nose and began to eat a flower as well. One by one, Tucker, Raph and Donnie ate the Blood Blossoms until none remained. Danny's screams stopped as the effect of the flowers diminished. He was still feeling a bit weak and a little bit of pain, but he was safe from the deadly flowers.
"Thanks guys." Danny said, wearily.
"You owe me one dude." Tucker said, before letting off a burp.
The villagers pointed their weapons at them all and then Tucker said, "And you can pay me back right now."
Danny grabbed them all and immediately turned them invisible. He then flew them back to the tower and they all climbed back into the Speeder and took off back through the portal before it closed.
"I'm curious to see how a body that's never eaten any roughage reacts, when thirty pounds of it is suddenly introduced." Sam said, referring to Tucker eating the Blood Blossoms.
Tucker smirked and then said, "Don't get your hopes up Sam. We Foley's can handle anything."
His stomach began to rumble and then Raph said sarcastically, "Oh yeah. Handle anything huh?"
"I'll get back to you, after I hit a rest room." Tucker said as he immediately activated his PDA to track down Vlad again. "He's entered another portal, not far from this one."
He looked out the window and pointed to another portal. Donnie steered the Speeder into the portal and they suddenly found themselves in ancient Greek times! Donnie landed the Speeder in what appeared to be Athens. They suddenly heard the people screaming and climbed out of the Speeder, watching as people ran in pure terror.
They looked ahead to see Plasmius laughing as he was sitting on top of a giant three-headed dog. The dog roared and continued to stomp its way through Athens, crushing down buildings and houses along the way.
"What is that thing?" Raph asked.
"Its Cerberus. A giant three-headed dog that was said to guard the Underworld." Sam answered. "I read about him in a book about Greek Mythology."
"You two wait here. We'll go and try and stop Vlad." Donnie said.
Danny changed into his ghost form and grabbed Donnie and Raph's hands, flying them up towards Cerberus. He dodged each of their heads from snapping at him and then dropped Donnie and Raph. The two of them pulled out their weapons and aimed at Vlad.
Plasmius jumped back, avoiding Donnie and Raph. He created a sword out of ectoplasmic energy and blocked each of Raph's strikes from his sais. Donnie used his staff as a boost and leapt right at Vlad's stomach, kicking him right off Cerberus.
Plasmius screamed as he crashed into the ground, but then gasped as he saw Danny flying down right at him with his sword. Plasmius blocked the oncoming blade and the two blades clashed against each other in a series of strikes. Danny then crouched down and tried to sweep his legs, but Plasmius jumped up and punched Danny away.
Donnie and Raph jumped off of Cerberus and stood by Danny's side. Plasmius growled at them both and said, "You can follow me all you like you mutant freaks, but I will leave the Ghost Zone with the Infi-Map!"
He then took off into the air and went back through the portal. Danny, Donnie and Raph looked up at Cerberus and Danny asked, "What do we do about this?"
Suddenly a man with a shield and sword landed in front of them. He threw the shield and sword down and then suddenly with his own two hands, picked Cerberus up and threw him into the distance. Donnie, Danny, Raph and Sam all looked at the man in shock.
The man just gave them a smile and said, "I'll handle Cerberus, for I am Hercules!"
The man picked up his shield and sword and ran into the distance. Sam then said, "So cool! We just met Hercules!"
Danny then noticed Tucker wasn't around and asked, "Where's Tuck?"
All four of them then heard the sound of flushing and turned to see Tucker, coming out of what looked to be an ancient Greek version of the toilet. He smiled and said to the others, "Wow! That was the softest toilet paper I had ever used."
Danny pulled him by the shirt and they headed back to the Speeder. The next portal they found that Plasmius went through, took them to Ancient Egyptian times.
The sounds of ecto-blasts could be heard coming from the palace of the Pharaoh at the time; Cleopatra.
The guards were all on the ground, groaning in pain as Plasmius stood victorious over them. He grinned at the queen and demanded, "You will hand over your crown at once your highness, so that I may take over and rule."
Cleopatra glared at the intruder. She stood up and spoke, "I shall never give you my crown. I am the Pharaoh and I will protect my people, even if it means I breathe my last breath!"
Plasmius grinned wider as he sneered, "Very well."
He aimed his hand and prepared to send the deadly blast straight at the queen, however when the blast fired, Danny quickly flew in and shielded Cleopatra with an ecto-shield, taking her completely by surprise.
Plasmius suddenly felt himself get kicked in the back by Donnie. Raph then kicked him in the front, sending him back towards Donnie. Donnie then grabbed his arm and threw him over his shoulder, sending him towards Danny. Danny then pulled out a Spectre Deflector and immediately wrapped it around Plasmius's waist, tightening it and making sure it was secure.
Plasmius screamed as the belt activated and he fell to his knees, weakened from the shock. Sam then wasted no time and quickly took the map from his belt and placed it in her bag.
"I got the map guys, let's go!" Sam said.
They immediately got into the Speeder and took off back to the portal. Plasmius roared in anger and ripped the belt right off his waist, before shooting off after them. Cleopatra looked on in shock, she couldn't believe what had happened right before her very eyes.
She looked up to the sky and said, "Gods, I'm not sure what happened but I thank you for sending those creatures and those humans to save me from sending me to the Underworld."
Plasmius followed the Speeder at full speed, not caring where they were heading in the Ghost Zone, but was going to do whatever it took to get the map back. He became so distracted however, he didn't see the huge pillar of ice and crashed right into it.
He fell into the deep pile of snow. He rubbed his head and stood back up. His eyes then widened as he realised where he was.
"Well, well, well….look has returned." A deep voice said.
Plasmius turned and saw Frostbite standing behind him, along with a few other of his people and the Speeder was floating high above them.
Before Plasmius could say another word, Frostbite's and his people's eyes glowed blue and within a flash, they froze him solid in a case of ice.
A few minutes later, after using the map to send Vlad back to Earth, Donnie, Danny, Raph, Sam and Tucker stood in front of the Speeder with Frostbite and a few of his people.
Frostbite smiled at them all and said, "Thank you young heroes, for getting the Infi-Map back. There was no telling what that evil halfa would've done with it."
"Glad we could help." Raph said, smiling back.
"So, what'll happen to the map?" Tucker asked.
"It shall remain here where it always has, but this time with more protection and security so that this may never fall into the wrong hands again." Frostbite answered. "And as for our village, it will take a while, but we will re-build and be stronger than ever before."
"Well, we better head home guys." Donnie said. "I think we've had enough exploring of the Ghost Zone for one day."
"Hope to see you again soon, Frostbite." Danny said with a smile.
Frostbite smiled back and then watched as they climbed into the Speeder and took off into the air.
Donnie drove back through the portal and parked the Speeder in the lab. Danny, Donnie, Raph, Tucker and Sam all climbed out of the Speeder and stretched.
"Well, that was definitely interesting." Danny commented.
"Yeah. But let's hope we didn't mess with time too much." Donnie said, thinking of all the time periods they visited.
Tucker suddenly held his stomach and said, "That reminds me!"
They all watched as Tucker ran straight for the Lair's bathroom and slammed the door shut. Danny, Sam, Tucker, Raph and Donnie all could then hear Tucker shout from in there, "CURSE YOU VEGETABLES!"
Meanwhile back at Foot HQ, Vlad was finally unfrozen and was wrapped in a blanket in his human form. Saki then asked, "I take it the mission was a failure?"
Vlad smirked and answered, "Not necessarily."
He pulled out a tube and inside was some kind of energy. He then explained, "Before heading through that portal to Ancient Egypt, I managed to steal some of the map's energy. It won't be like the real thing and lead us to portals, but we will be able to make a copy of the map. This copy will be able to co-ordinate our little project to where we want to go."
Saki grinned and said, "Excellent Vlad. Excellent indeed."

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the town, Turtle Santa is driving like crazy to not let the kids down!
