AUTHOR'S NOTES: Hi everyone. I wanted to post this chapter on Christmas Day, but I never got the chance to as it wasn't finished. Things will often get busy with me and I will be only able to publish new chapters when I can :)
Snow fell over the city of New York on the night of Christmas Eve. Mikey and Tucker were in a large truck, driving down the streets at high speed.
MIKEY: Twas the night before Christmas and all through the town, Turtle Santa drove like crazy to not let the kids down.
The back of the truck was filled with toys, bouncing slightly as Mikey drove the truck.
TUCKER: Instead of a sleigh, a truck full of toys. Destined to be the presents for good girls and boys.
Chasing after them in a car were three men. One of them popped out from the hood and aimed what looked to appear a missile launcher.
MIKEY: But evil thieves wanted to steal the toys at all cost!
TUCKER: Poor, poor Turtle Santa! All hope was lost!
Tucker and Mikey gasped in shock as the guy fired the weapon, the missile coming right towards them.
THE CHRISTMAS ALIENS
December 24th, Christmas Eve. That magical time of year when families come together to celebrate the holidays, plus it was also a good for the people of New York to celebrate, after everything they had been through from the invasion.
In Central Park, Mikey wearing a jacket, shirt, hat, pants, shoes and scarf so no-one will see that he's a giant mutant turtle and Tucker who was wearing a yellow sweater, red and white scarf and his usual red beret watched as everyone played in the snow.
"Man! There is nothing like the Big Apple at Christmas time. I love it." Mikey said with a smile, before covering his mouth with the scarf more. "Even if I have to wear this scratchy scarf."
"I love Christmas as well dude. Since it gives me a chance to break out my mistletoe beret." Tucker said, changing his hat to another one, this time it had a piece of mistletoe hanging off the end.
Mikey looked at him strangely. Tucker then walked up to a teenage girl and asked as he closed his eyes and puckers his lips, "Hey miss, how about spreading a little holiday cheer?"
The girl looked at him in disgust, but then smirked as she held out her dog and allowed it to lick Tucker's lips.
Tucker hummed and said, "You had liver for lunch."
Mikey snickered, knowing that he would never realise he just kissed a dog. However as soon as he turned his back, he suddenly felt a snowball hit him in the back.
"Hey!" Mikey called out as he looked behind him, seeing the boy who threw the snowball.
The boy looked at Mikey sheepishly and apologised, "Sorry mister. I wasn't trying to hit you. I was trying to hit Jimmy."
Said boy, came out from his make-shift fort and revealed himself, also giving Mikey a sheepish grin. Mikey then noticed the first boy had a sled and decided to make him an offer.
He walked up to the boy and offered while holding his hand out, "Tell you what kid, let me burrow your sled for a little bit and we'll call it even?"
The boy shook his hand, agreeing to the deal. Tucker and the two boys then watched as Mikey took the sled and started sliding it down the hills of the park. He cheered as he did flips and slid down the slopes.
"COWABUNGA!" Mikey shouted with joy.
The boy looked at his friend and asked confused, "Cowabunga?"
His friend shrugged and then Tucker said, "It's a teenager thing boys."
Mikey did one last flip off a hill and yelped as he fell back-first onto the snow covered ground. He stood up and dusted the snow off his clothes and looked at the dent he made in the snow.
"Look at that, I made a snow Turtles. Maybe I'll start a new trend." He said.
Tucker and the two boys caught up with him. The boy grabbed his sled and then complimented Mikey, "Hey mister! You do some slick tricks! You're alright."
He then left to re-join his friend. Tucker fist bumped Mikey for his tricks and said, "Dude that was so cool!"
Mikey smiled and laid back in the snow and said as he began to make another snow angel, "Yep, best town in the world. Especially at Christmas."
Tucker chuckled at Mikey's antics. They both then heard a small cute meow. Mikey sat up and he and Tucker saw the one who made the noise. It was a small, orange kitten. The poor thing shivered from the cold.
"Awe! Poor little guy." Mikey said, giving the kitten a small smile as he petted him. "All alone out here in the cold."
Tucker gently lifted the feline's neck and said, "He doesn't have a collar or any kind of identification tag."
Mikey smiled and picked up the cat, placing him in the inside of his jacket as he said, "Come on. You'll be nice and warm in here and maybe, we can find you a home."
The cat made a happy noise as he snuggled in the warm folds of Mikey's jacket.
Meanwhile at the lair, Master Splinter, Danny, Donnie, Raph and Leo were all busy decorating the lair for their Christmas party. Splinter had just finished hanging up paper cranes on the door of his room, Leo, Raph and Danny were hanging tinsel around the pillars of the lair and Donnie was setting up a table that had a menorah and a kinara for their friends who celebrated Hanukkah or Kwanzaa
The door to elevator then opened, revealing April, Sam and holding a huge Christmas tree was Casey, though he was struggling to see or move since it was heavy.
"Ah! Miss O'Neil and Sam, you both have returned." Splinter said, smiling at both of them.
"With the tree as promised. We had to go to four different blocks." Sam said. "They were almost sold out."
Casey struggled to get through the door as he said sarcastically, "Hey! Don't worry about me, I don't need any help or nothing."
The doors suddenly slammed right on him. Raph called out to him from the upper level, "Hey Case, watch the tree will ya?! We don't want it damaged."
Casey quickly walked out from the elevator just as the doors slammed closed again. April and Sam sighed at him.
Casey then said in an annoyed tone, "Oh no! I'm okay! Thanks for all your concern. I didn't break nothing, I just had a huge stone elevator door slam shut on my head!"
He almost tumbled and fell backwards, but Raph quickly came down and grabbed the other side, balancing them and keeping him from falling.
Raph smirked and commented, "Yeah, you're lucky it was your head and nothing important."
Leo bought over the small circular rug for the tree, Danny bought over the stand for it and Donnie bought over a box filled with Christmas tree ornaments and other decorations. They placed the tree into its spot.
"Perhaps we had best start cooking the dinner." Splinter suggested.
"I'll give a hand. I know some great vegetarian recipes for any of our guests who may not eat meat besides me." Sam offered.
"Count me in." April said, smiling brightly. "Cooking the holiday dinner is almost as fun as eating it."
"That's not what Mikey would say." Danny said, chuckling slightly.
"Yeah. Where is that bozo anyway?" Raph asked. "I'm starting to worry about him. He's been gone all day."
"At least Tucker's with him and hopefully, he'll keep Mikey from getting into any trouble." Danny said.
"It's Christmas Eve. Even Mikey couldn't get into trouble on a night like tonight." Donnie said confidently.
Leo reached into the box and pulled out one of the ornaments, smiling at it as he said, "Unless he stops by the toy store….again."
And just like Leo had predicated, Mikey was at the now closed toy store. He cleared the fog of the window and continued to stare at the many toys the shop had to offer.
Tucker looked at his PDA and noticed the time. He tapped Mikey's shoulder and said, "Hey dude, we really should start heading for the lair."
"I know but…I….I can't help it!" Mikey said as he practically drooled over the toys. "They got the new guts and glory action figure with the remote controlled tank! And they got the new Captain Fanatics Space probe!"
Tucker then noticed the toy called the Little Orphan Alien doll and said, "Looks they're sold out again on the Little Orphan Alien dolls again. Those things just won't stay on the shelf. It's one hot toy."
The little cat poked his head out from Mikey and made another happy noise. Mikey smiled and petted the kitten once more as he said, "You said it Klunk. You don't mind do you? I've always wanted a cat named Klunk."
Tucker couldn't help but smile at the scene. That small moment of happiness however was broken when they suddenly heard a noise coming from the alley on the side of the store. They then heard a man call out, "No! Get back!"
Tucker and Mikey immediately quickly and silently headed on top of the truck and watched the scene below as a Purple Dragons with guns, held the security guard at bay. The back of the truck was full of the Little Orphan Alien dolls.
"What do you want?" The security guard asked fearfully.
One of the Purple Dragons smirked as he answered while holding one of the dolls, "Just your truck and all the Little Orphan Alien dolls in it."
"You can't steal this truck!" The security guard protested. "These Little Orphan Alien dolls is being donated to the Brown Street Children's Home. Have a heart will ya? It's Christmas!"
"And that's why we're given ourselves this truck." The second Purple Dragon said with a smirk of his own. "It's our Christmas present."
The third Purple Dragon then came up and knocked the guard out with the end of his gun as he sneered, "Ho, ho, ho bozo."
The three of them laughed at their evil deed. The second Purple Dragon then said, "Just imagine how much we'll get for these things on the internet."
"These Little Orphan Alien dolls go for five times than what you pay for them in the store." The first Purple Dragon said as he climbed out of the back of the truck.
"And we didn't pay nothin'." The third Purple Dragon said, causing all three of them to laugh at their evil deed, unaware of the two witnesses at the top of the truck.
"They haven't paid yet, but they will." Mikey said. He then tucked Klunk into his jacket more. "Better lay low Klunk. Thing's might get a little rough."
He then turned to Tucker and said, "See if you can get into the back of the truck Tucker and be ready, in case I need your help."
Tucker nodded and began to slowly climb back down off the truck.
Back at the lair, Raph stood in front of the tree with a pair of butterfly swords. Danny then asked, "Uh Raph….what's with the butterfly swords?"
"Just trimming the tree." Raph answered and in just a few swift movements, the tree now stood perfectly trimmed and ready for decorating.
"Man I'm good! I should've been a barber." Raph said, impressed with his work.
He then turned to Danny and offered, "Little off the top?"
Danny immediately shook his head and declined, "No thanks."
He then looked at the tree and said as he changed into his ghost form, "But I will do this."
He concentrated hard and managed to duplicate himself three times. He and his clones grabbed some decorations, tinsel and the lights and in just a few seconds, the tree was now fully decorated. The only thing that was missing was the star.
"You're not going to put the star on yet?" Raph asked.
Danny shook his head as he clones disappeared and he changed back into his human form, "No. I'm saving that for Danielle. It's her first Christmas and I want her to have the honour of doing it."
Donnie came out of the kitchen with a bowl that had leftover cookie dough and asked, "Christmas cookies are in the oven. Who wants to lick the bowl?"
Raph immediately snatched the bowl out of Donnie's hands and said with a wide grin, "This is sweet!"
He began to lick the leftover dough. He then said, "Normally Mikey hogs all the good stuff."
Leo then came over and said, "Maybe we ought to go look for Mikey and Tucker."
Raph paused and then said, "Nah! They'll be okay. They're probably on their way here right now."
As soon as Tucker managed to sneak into the back of the truck, Mikey leapt into action, he spun kicked all the bad guys down. The first Purple Dragon got back up and ran over to Tucker, grabbing the teenage boy in a headlock and holding his gun to his head.
"Don't move punk! Or the kid gets it!" The Purple Dragon warned, causing Mikey to gasp in shock.
The second Purple Dragon immediately began firing his weapon at Mikey, causing the ninja turtle to run to the wall. The one holding Tucker threw him in the back of the truck and closed the doors. All three Purple Dragons then climbed into the front part of the truck, unaware that a piece of cord was hanging out the back of the truck.
Mikey quickly grabbed the cord and then yelped as he was pulled along by the truck, knocking into several garbage bins along the way. Klunk made a noise from the commotion.
"Hang on Klunk! I'm kinda busy right now!" Mikey said as he began to climb up the cord, towards the back of the truck.
Mikey managed to get up on his feet and held on tight as the truck drove down the road. One of the Purple Dragons looked out the side mirror and saw Mikey holding on behind them.
"That punk that attacked has attached himself to the back!" The Purple Dragon exclaimed.
"Not for long he ain't!" The Purple Dragon driving said and then he began to swerve the truck left and right.
Tucker was being slammed around in the back of the truck. He shouted to the Purple Dragons, "DUDES! EASY ON THE SWERVING! PASSENGER IN THE BACK!"
Mikey yelped as he was slammed into cars. He then managed to get his balance again and leap over the cars.
"This isn't so hard!" Mikey said, laughing a little.
As the truck turned hard around the next corner, Mikey fell on his butt and was now bumping up and down the road as he held onto the cord tight.
"Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry bumpy Christmas!" Mikey quipped. "Lucky for me, I have a shell!"
The Purple Dragon driving the truck looked his side window and saw that Mikey was still holding on even after all he did to try and shake him off.
"I don't believe it! That monkey is still back there!" He shouted in shock.
"Bring him up front." The third Purple Dragon said as he and his other friend got their weapons ready.
The Purple Dragon immediately slammed on the brake and pulled to a stop. Mikey yelped as he slid under the truck and came to a stop at the front.
"Hah! We made it." Mikey said happily to Klunk.
The two Purple Dragons broke the front of the window of the truck and immediately began firing their weapons at Mikey. Mikey got up and began dodging the bullets and climbed up to the top of the front part of the truck. He dodged the bullets narrowly as they fired through the roof. He then flipped over to the back, opened the doors and went inside.
"He went in the back with the kid and the dolls." The Purple Dragon said.
"Well go take care of them permanently." The first Purple Dragon ordered.
They went to the back and stood ready. They then fully opened the doors but saw, there was no sign of Mikey or Tucker. Only the dolls remained.
"Do you see them?" The first one asked.
"No." The other one answered.
They were both unaware that Mikey was hanging on the roof with Tucker on his back. He then jumped down and kicked the two Purple Dragons right in the face, knocking them out onto the ground.
"Merry Christmas boys. I got you something." Mikey said as he held the two gang members by the collars of their shirts. "It's a kick to the stomach! Hope you like it!"
The one in the front of the truck heard the sounds of punching and watched as his partners were taken down by Mikey.
"I don't believe it! He took out Two-Tongue and Spike!" He said in shock.
He pulled out a phone and called someone. As soon as someone answered, he spoke into the phone, "It's Sonny! I'm on 18th and 1st! I got someone on my case and I could use a little back-up."
Someone responded and he said, "Got it! I'll meet you halfway."
He pressed hard on the accelerator and began driving off. With Tucker still on his back, Mikey grabbed onto one of the open doors of the truck and held on tight. As the Purple Dragon named Sonny drove off, he noticed a guy on a moped.
He swerved the truck to avoid the guy, but the guy fell off his moped and watched in shock. Tucker called out to the guy as the truck it continued down the road, "Call the cops! Those guys are crooks! They're trying to hi-jack this truck!"
"Tucker hang on!" Mikey shouted as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his spike-claws.
He then began to use them to climb the side of the truck and head up to the front. As the police pulled around the corner, Mikey opened the front door and threw Sonny out of the truck as he said, "I think this is where you get off!"
Sonny screamed as he was tossed out of the truck and landed right on top of the police car, shocking the two policemen inside.
"This Bravo14! We now got the third punk who tried to hi-jack the truck full of toys, but it looks like there's two more still hanging onto the truck." The police officer reported.
Mikey climbed in and Tucker sat down in the empty seat of the other side of the truck. Mikey climbed into the driver's seat and took the wheel.
"And now for the fun part; driving." Mikey said.
Klunk stuck his head out as his new owner said, "Check it out Klunk."
Tucker then noticed ahead three Purple Dragons in a car and they were driving right towards them. He pointed ahead and said, "Uh dude…..we got company!"
Mikey looked ahead and saw them as well. He yelped and then said, "What would Raph do in a situation like this?"
He then thought of something and began to press on the accelerator. The Purple Dragon driving the car noticed this and said with slight panic, "He ain't gonna stop!"
As Mikey and Tucker came closer, Tucker began to scream a little. The Purple Dragons screamed as the one driving turned hard on the wheel, narrowly missing Mikey. He stopped and then turned around, once again returning to chase after Mikey and Tucker.
"Dude! Please don't do that again!" Tucker pleaded as he held onto the edge of his seat.
April, Donnie, Danny and Leo were setting the table. The elevator door opened to reveal Casey and Raph with Silver Century, The Professor, a couple of his homeless friends and Angel, all of them wearing blindfolds over their eyes.
"Sorry about the blindfolds folks. Matters of security and all." Casey said as he and Raph led the group into the lair.
Through the front doors, Danielle and Leatherhead came in. Danny gave Dani a hug and said, "Merry Christmas Dani."
"Merry Christmas." Danielle said with a smile.
Silver Century whispered to Raph, "You know, I can see through this blindfold with my x-ray vision."
"Just play along. It's for Master Splinter." Raph explained as he and Casey helped remove the blindfolds. "He's got this thing of letting people know where we live."
The others came to greet them all. April said, "Merry Christmas everybody."
Sam greeted the Professor, "Happy Kwanzaa."
The Professor greeted back with a smile, "And a happy Kwanzaa to you as well. Thank you so much for inviting us."
Splinter smiled back and said, "You are all welcome in our home."
One of the other homeless people whispered to his friend, "Man! These guys wear their turtle costumes even on Christmas."
"Uh yep." The other one agreed.
Silver Century then asked Danny, "So Phantom, I see you're here but where is my other sidekick? Where's the Turtle Titan? I thought Michelangelo would be here."
"So did we, but he seems to be running late." Danny answered. "But, I'm sure he'll be along any minute with Tucker."
As the Purple Dragons continued to go after Mikey and Tucker, one of them popped out from the hood and aimed what looked to appear a missile launcher.
"What should I do guys?" Mikey asked both Mikey and Klunk.
Tucker looked ahead and saw a tow truck with nothing on the back of it. He then said to Mikey, "Go for that tow truck dude."
Mikey saw it and got the idea. Tucker held on tight as Mikey used the side of it to tilt the truck a bit as the Purple Dragon launched the missile at the. Thanks to that stunt, the missile went right pass them and instead, hit a car in front of them, completely destroying it.
"Do something!" The Purple Dragon shouted at his partners.
"Get me closer. I'll blow out his tires." The second Purple Dragon said as he got his gun ready.
The Purple Dragon went faster as he came closer up to Mikey. Mikey smirked and slammed on the brakes, bringing the truck to a complete stop.
"NOT THAT CLOSE!" The Purple Dragon shouted.
The Purple Dragon slammed on the brakes but it was too late! The front of the car hit the back of the truck, causing them to spin and then flip until it landed upside down in between to other cars, completely totalling it.
"Nice driving dipstick." The Purple Dragon said to the driver sarcastically.
Mikey then once again took off down the road. Tucker then said with a laugh, "Tailgaters."
Almost everyone gathered around the tree and added their own decorations to the tree. They then watched as Leatherhead lifted Dani onto his shoulders and allowed her to place the star at the top of the tree. Dani smiled and giggled as everyone clapped for her. Leatherhead chuckled and placed Dani down.
Sam and Danny were sitting at a small table, playing with a dreidel and so far, Sam had won most of the games.
"This is pretty fun. You play this all the time at home?" Danny asked.
"Mostly only during Hanukkah." Sam answered.
Danny took the small spinning top and spun it around, however he accidentally spun it so hard it fell off the table. They both reached down to grab it, but then accidentally touched each other's hands. Sam pulled away and then they both blushed as Danny picked up the toy and placed it back on the table.
Meanwhile, Casey and April were placing the final plates on the table. Casey then smiled as he saw hanging between them on a string was a mistletoe.
"Well, what do you know? Mistletoe. Ain't we supposed to kiss or something?" Casey asked and then puckered his lips at April.
April playfully pushed him away as she said, "That's not enough mistletoe to make me kiss you. I'm afraid you'll need a whole tree."
They continued on to the next seat and once again, mistletoe hung above them. Casey smiled and said, "Check it out. More mistletoe."
However, April still refused to kiss Casey and walked away. Casey followed after her, but she didn't notice that the mistletoe followed after them on a line of rope. He stopped and said, "More mistletoe."
April turned and saw the mistletoe once again hanging above them. Casey continued to smile and said, "There's no way out of it. You gotta kiss me."
April stepped back and then frowned as she noticed that when Casey moved forward, the mistletoe went with him. She placed her hands on her hips and glared as he said, "Look, it's following us. It's a sign. A sign from above."
She ripped the mistletoe off the string and said as she pointed up, "Exactly."
He turned around and saw that she had discovered it was Raph and Angel making the mistletoe move on the rope.
They both smirked and waved at them innocently as Raph said, "Hiya April. Watcha got there? Mistletoe?"
Both and Angel laughed a little. April then asked Casey, "Jones, did you put them up to this?"
Casey shook his head and denied, "No! Never!"
Knowing that he was caught, he smiled sheepishly and admitted, "Uh….maybe."
April smirked and then said, "Okay then. Pucker up."
Casye closed his eyes and puckered his lips, ready to receive a kiss. But instead of receiving said kiss, they only thing he got was a slap to the face from April by the mistletoe.
Raph and Angel cringed as Angel them commented, "Oooh! That's gotta hurt."
"Oh! Right in the kisser!" Raph added.
The others laughed a bit. The entire lair then filled with a bright light as a portal formed. Knowing who it was, Danny, Splinter and Leo all stood in front of it to greet their guests. Out of the portal came The Daimyo, Usagi and Genosuke. Even though Splinter already knew the Daimyo, Danny and Leo had met Usagi during the Battle Nexus Tournament, when he saved their lives from Ue-Sama's assassins and curing Danny when he was poisoned by Ue-Sama.
"It is an honour to be in your home Splinter-sensei." The Daimyo greeted as the three of them bowed in respect.
Splinter, Danny and Leo bowed back as Splinter greeted back, "The honour is all mine old friend."
Usagi smiled at his friends and greeted, "Anata e no shiawasena kyūjitsu, Leonardo-san and Danny-san."
He pulled out from behind his back two presents. One was a sword and the second was a Japanese Tanto weapon. He presented the sword to Leo and the Tanto to Danny as he said, "I bought you both something."
"Wicked." They both said as they accepted their gifts.
Leo then presented his and Danny's present to Usagi which was of course a sword as he said, "Danny and I bought you something as well."
Usagi smiled as he accepted his gift and said, "A sword! What a wonderful gift!"
"Nice letter opening boys." Genosuke cut in, being rude as usual. "Now where's the free chow? I'm starving!"
Splinter ignored Genosuke's rudeness and said, "Please come. All are welcome at our table."
The elevator door then opened and Jazz entered the lair, brushing the snow off her coat while holding a cake box. She then said, "Sorry I'm late everyone. I had to go to five different stores to find a fruit cake. Everywhere was sold out."
Danny hugged Jazz as he said, "What matters is that you're here now sis."
Jazz hugged Danny back with a warm smile, glad to be spending the holidays with her brother after living so many years in space.
They both then video-called Maddie, using the Utrom holo-communication device she gave to Danny before she left with the Utroms before TCRI was destroyed.
She smiled warmly and said, "Merry Christmas my children. I miss you both every single day."
"We miss you too mum / wish you were here." Both Danny and Jazz said at the same time.
"I do as well. Someday, I know we'll be together again." Maddie responded.
Just when it seemed it was finally over, Mikey and Tucker found themselves now being chased by three police cars in a high-speed chase.
"We finally ditch those Purple Dragon bozos and now we find ourselves on one of the world's scariest police chases." Mikey said.
He poked his head out of the window and called out to the cops chasing them, "YO! We're the good guys!"
Mikey pulled his head back in and the Tucker said as he saw more police ahead, "The police are blocking the road ahead Mikey. What do we do now?"
Mikey knew there was only one way. He then said, "For what I'm about to do, forgive me."
He went faster and the police got out of the way as Mikey slammed his way through the police cars. He called out to the cops, "Sorry! Sorry about that! Sorry!"
Everyone gathered around a small table and cheered Casey on as he was trying to beat Silver Century at an arm wrestling match. Casey struggled to try and push the superhero's arm down, but Silver Century only yawned as he wasn't even trying at all since he had super-strength. With that, he decided to end the match and slammed Casey's arm down so hard, he accidentally flipped him right into the pillar.
Casey groaned as he fell to the ground. Silver Century apologised immediately, "Forgive me Mr Jones. I don't know my own strength sometimes."
Casey glared. He wasn't going to give up that easily. This time, he had Raph helping him in the match. They both pushed against Silver's arm together, determined to beat him this time. But the same results happened. Silver this time, flipped both Raph and Casey right into the pillar. They both groaned in pain as they fell to the ground.
This time April and Sam was having a go. They both grimaced as they pushed hard against Silver's arm. Casey then decided to speak, "Yo girls, give it up will ya? Raph and I couldn't beat him. There's no way you're gonna….."
Casey stopped talking immediately when Sam and April suddenly managed to slam Silver's arm down and this time, flip him right into the pillar, causing a massive dent into the bricks.
"You were saying Casey Jones?" April said smugly as they walked past the shocked looks of the Daimyo (even though you couldn't see behind his mask), Usagi, Raph, Casey, Danny, Leo, Donnie, Genosuke, the Professor and his friends, Jazz and Angel.
Sam and April met with Silver Century in the kitchen a few minutes later. April then said, "Thanks. I think they fell for it."
Silver smiled at them both and said, "My pleasure."
"And as promised, you're reward." April said, as she presented him with a tin full of cookies.
Silver said though, "Actually the look on those guys' faces was reward enough."
Sam shrugged and said slowly, "Alright. I guess we'll give my grandmothers famous double chocolate chip cookies to the others then."
Silver immediately changed his mind and took the tin from April's hands as he said, "No! I'll take them! I love cookies."
Splinter was in a vast space, sitting on a mat with Master Yoshi. They both bowed to each other and then Splinter pulled out a paper crane and handed it to Yoshi. Yoshi accepted the gift and smiled at Splinter.
Splinter smiled as he held the globe that the Utroms gave him. He was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Leo's voice, "Master Splinter."
He opened his eyes and looked at his son, standing at the doorway. Leo then said, "Dinner's ready."
He then asked his father with concern, "Are you okay sensei?"
Splinter smiled sadly as he answered while looking at the globe, "Yes my son. I am fine. Just visiting an old friend."
Danny was sitting in his old home with his father Jack Fenton. Jack smiled at his son warmly. Danny also pulled out a paper crane and also a photo of Maddie, Jazz and himself that he took before Maddie and Jazz left for the Utrom Homeworld. He handed it to Jack, who smiled at the gift and then then the father and son shared a hug.
Danny continued to smile as he held his globe that he received from the Utroms. Jazz knocked, pulling him from his thoughts.
"Sorry to interrupt Danny, but dinner is ready." Jazz said. She then asked, "Everything alright?"
Danny smiled sadly and said, "Yeah Jazz. Just visiting dad."
Jazz smiled sadly back and the siblings both shared a hug, missing their father and wishing he was still alive to celebrate Christmas with them.
Everyone was now at the table, however none of them were eating as they were waiting for the two missing people, Michelangelo and Tucker. They both still hadn't arrived. All of them were unaware of what was going on with the two.
The Daimyo tapped on the table, trying to remain patient. April out of boredom stuck a spoon to her nose, but then it fell on the table. Casey then decided to speak, "Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving. Let's chow down on the holiday goodies."
He was about to grab some food, but Splinter shook his head and said, "No. This is a time for family and being together. We must wait for Michelangelo and Tucker."
"Where are those bums?" Raph wondered.
The police continued to chase after Mikey and Tucker. Mikey drove the truck over some snow, causing some of it to hit one of the windows of a police car and blind them. The policeman slammed on the brakes of his car and came to a complete and sudden stop, causing the other cars to crash into each other.
Mikey parked the truck at a dump and watched as the police drove past. Mikey and Tucker both said with relief, "Finally."
Mikey petted Klunk and more snow began to fall around them.
April looked at her watch and said, "Okay, we're going to give Mikey and Tucker five minutes but that's it! The food is getting cold."
Splinter nodded, "Agreed."
"I'm going to kill those two." Sam muttered.
"I'm with ya Sam. They're better get here soon those boneheads." Raph said.
Tucker held onto to Mikey's shell as he leapt across the buildings. He then landed in an alleyway and Tucker got off his back. Mikey opened the lid to the sewers and the two of them climbed down into them heading for the lair.
The doors opened and everyone watched as Mikey and Tucker entered. Mikey held Klunk in his hands as they walked towards them.
"Merry Christmas everybody. Meet my friend Klunk." Mikey said as he presented the kitten.
"Hey guys." Tucker greeted. "Merry Christmas."
"Mikey, Tucker where have you been?" Leo asked.
"Our guests have been waiting." Splinter slightly scolded them. "It is very rude."
"We know and we're sorry about that." Tucker said, feeling bad for making them all wait. "But trust me when I say is we have a really good explanation."
"Guys, we don't want to hear some lame story." Raph cut in.
"Raph remember, this is supposed to be a season of giving." Mikey reminded him.
"Yeah and I'm thinking of giving you a well-seasoned smack upside the head." Raph warned.
"Guys! It's Christmas Eve! It's a time to remember those less fortunate than ourselves." Mikey reminded them all, causing everyone to smile. "In fact, it's a time to not think of ourselves at all and I have just the ticket for that."
So instead of having Christmas dinner, some of them dressed up as elves and even Splinter was dressed up as Santa Clause and headed for the children's home. They all played and handed the dolls out to the children.
Splinter allowed the children to sit on his lap, Silver Century played with some of the children and the others played as well. Looking at the smiling faces of all the children bought joy and warmth to their hearts. April even gave Casey a kiss on the cheek as he was standing under the mistletoe.
"My sons, I believe Michelangelo is right." Splinter said as the children sat on his lap. "This is definitely a time for thinking of others. A season of giving."
Mikey held a little girl in his arms and said as she petted Klunk, "Happy Holidays everybody!"
