The full moon shone down on the river. On the river was a Triceraton war ship that had been shot down by the Federation during the invasion that took place a couple of months ago.
DONNIE: Ever get the feeling that things aren't always what they seem? Take this Triceraton Tri-Base ship, it seems to be a space invader but it's really just another casualty still lying around from the recent alien attack.
A helicopter carrying inside Oroku Saki and Vlad Masters flew over the ship and they looked down upon it with high interest.
And there's Oroku Saki and Vlad Masters A.K.A the Shredder and Vlad Plasmius.
Down below, their people were working to what appeared to be them cleaning up and still fixing all the damages that the Triceratons had done during their invasion.
They seem to be using their fortunes to cleaning and fixing all of New York, but they're really more interested in claiming all the leftover alien technology for themselves.
Danny and the Turtles were standing somewhere and they found themselves facing off against four robots. Two of them look like Karai, while the other two look like Valerie.
And lastly, these big tall robotic amazons seem to want to slice us up into itty bitty turtle and halfa pieces….
The Karai bots pulled out sharp weapons such as spears and swords, while the Valerie bots aimed what looked to be highly advanced ghost weapons at them.
Okay! They do want to slice us up into itty bitty turtle and halfa pieces!
NEW BLOOD
At the mansion of Oroku Saki, press had gathered in the massive front hallway as both Vlad Masters and Oroku Saki stood in front of podiums, giving a speech.
"Mr Mayor and members of the press, in recent weeks Vlad Masters and I have been called Saviours of the City." Oroku Saki began the speech. "In all modesty, we are merely men who are fortunate enough to possess the means to jumpstart the rebuilding of this great city."
Vlad continued, "My good friend Oroku Saki and I have combined our might and wealth to provide the construction crews that are currently removing all the leftover dangerous alien technology left behind by those horrid Triceratons during their invasion that almost destroyed us all."
Oroku Saki continued, "And now, as they enter the final stages of removing said technology, they shall soon lead the way to restoring New York to a shining palace."
The press looked at the screens behind them and saw the plans for New York and cheered for their heroes. One reporter however had his doubts and decided to ask his own questions, "Mr Saki, do you have any comment on the allegations of your ties to an ancient criminal organisation and your as well as Mr Master's alleged connections to street gangs like the Purple Dragons?"
Vlad and Oroku Saki said nothing and merely glanced at Valerie and Karai who were dressed in normal clothes to fit in. The girls both nodded and began heading towards the reporter.
The reporter however wasn't finished, "And Mr Masters, do you have anything to say about the rumours about you using ghosts in certain questionable activities concerning your wealth?"
The Mayor decided to cut in and said, "I'm sorry but Mr Saki-san and Mr Masters are not taking questions at this time."
Vlad, Saki and the Mayor began to leave, but the reporter was far from through asking questions, "Mr Saki, isn't it true that renegade scientist Baxter Stockman is still on your payroll?"
Valerie discreetly elbowed the reporter right in the stomach, causing him to fall to his knees winded. The other people came to see what was wrong, but Karai kept them back and said while she discreetly pinched a nerve on the back of the man's neck, "Could you please stay back? It appears that this reporter has been overwhelmed by the excitement of this event."
The reporter then collapsed unconscious from the nerve pinch. Valerie then said, "If you all please follow me, Mr Masters and Mr Saki have been generous enough to provide food and refreshments for you all as his thanks for coming to hear their wonderful plans for New York."
Meanwhile on the other side of the city, Danny and the Turtles were jumping across the buildings for their nightly training session.
"Gentlemen, the name of the game is ninjustu stealth and heightened senses." Leo explained as he left the group.
"Or as we like to call….." Danny began as he too left to go and hide.
"Hide and seek!" Mikey finished as he and Raph left to go and hide.
Donnie stopped and stood in the middle of the building and saw that the others had disappeared, leaving him all alone.
He sighed and said, "So….I guess this means I'm it."
Donnie ran across the buildings, his staff in hand as he did. He leapt over and stood on an air ducts and then tapped Mikey who was hiding behind it with his staff.
Mikey groaned as he realised he had been found. But then he noticed something about Donnie and called out, "Hey….."
But Donnie had already left to continue the game. He leapt over to another building, where Raph was hiding on the side of it in the shadows. He then felt the staff tap him on his plastron and looked to see Donnie standing there.
He frowned and said to the now running turtle, "No way cheater!"
But Donnie ignored him and continued to run across the buildings. He stopped near a rooftop greenhouse where Danny was hiding inside. Donnie opened the doors and tapped Danny on the head with his staff.
Danny looked up at Donnie and said, "Hey! That ain't fair bro!"
Donnie then ran off and this time, stopped in front of a water tower. He looked up underneath it and found Leo hiding there. He tapped Leo on the back of his shell, causing the leader to look down at him and discovered how Donnie suddenly managed to win the game.
Leo leapt down and told his brother with his arms crossed, "Come on Don. You're missing the point of the exercise."
Turns out that Donnie had pulled out his night vision goggles and had been using them to help find his brothers in their game of hide and seek. Danny and the others finally caught up with him and Donnie shrugged and lifted the goggles up as he said, "What? My senses are heightened with night vision goggles."
Raph, Danny and Mikey got ready to teach Donnie a lesson as Raph quipped, "What do you say we heighten your sense of pain?"
Donnie's Shell Cell suddenly started going off and he told his brothers, "Time out. Duty calls."
He answered it, "Hello?"
Once again no one spoke, but the same strange noise played again just like it did back at April's place the night they told her and Sam a story about their past and it wasn't just then. The same thing had been happening repeatedly a couple of times a week.
"Another wrong number." Donnie said as he hung up and placed the phone away. "Somebody keeps trying to fax me or something."
"Yeah, yeah. Now where were we?" Raph said cracking his knuckles.
Suddenly, a whole bunch of helicopters flew right over them and flew across the city. Mikey commented, "What the shell?!"
The five of them decided to follow the helicopters and see where they were going. They stopped at an edge of a building and saw the helicopters were the police and they were flying over Central Park. Danny commented, "Looks like something major is happening at the park if there are that many police copters around."
Donnie pulled out his binoculars to take a closer look. He then saw a Triceraton ship flying towards them. He said confused, "Triceratons?"
Mikey tapped Donnie's shoulder and gestured him to look again. Donnie looked and saw that it was just helicopters lifting the now broken down Triceraton fighter ships out of the park. As the helicopters flew over them, they could see that the helicopters had the Foot symbol on them.
"Some kind of Foot activity." Donnie suggested.
"Let's check it out." Leo ordered.
Hiding amongst the bushes and trees of the park, Danny and the Turtles watched as what appeared to be the Foot cleaning up all the alien technology that got left behind after the invasion.
"Look at all the alien tech they're grabbing." Raph pointed out.
Leo however felt something and said, "Something's not right."
"Yeah. The Foot are cleaning everything up and last I checked, the Foot wasn't the kind of people who would do that." Danny said, thinking that's what his older brother was talking about.
Leo shook his head however and once again repeated as he looked around, "No I mean….something's not right."
And just like Leo had predicted, they suddenly found themselves surrounded by a group of Foot Ninja and Ember leading a group of skeleton ghosts. Danny changed into his ghost form and pulled out his sword.
Raph said as he and the others pulled out their weapons, "Foot Ninja and ghosts. Good! I could use a workout."
"With these pyjama heads and bags of bones, we'll be lucky enough to break a sweat." Mikey commented as their enemies began to attack.
Two Foot Ninja threw their chains at Donnie, wrapping them around his staff and began to pull to try and make him lose his weapon. Leo however, acted quickly and cut the chains with his swords. Mikey ducked out of the way as a skeleton ghost threw his own chain towards him. The chain ended up wrapped around a branch of a tree.
"Missed!" Mikey laughed.
But the ghost merely pulled the chain and ripped the branch right off the tree, hitting Mikey in the back with it. Danny stood face to face with Ember.
Ember stuck a cord with her guitar and sent a musical fist heading towards him. Danny shielded the fist and then swung his sword at her. Ember smirked and blocked the sword with the bottom of her guitar and the kicked Danny back right in the stomach.
Danny groaned as he stood up, holding his stomach with one hand. He growled as his eyes glowed blue and then sent an ice ray with his eyes straight at Ember. She quickly dodged it and the blast ended up hitting a tree behind her and was instantly frozen solid.
"I see you learned some new tricks baby-pop." Ember said.
Donnie blocked some shuriken being thrown at him with staff, but then was kicked down by another Foot Ninja.
"Is it me or are we breaking a sweat?" Donnie groaned, feeling that the Foot Ninja and ghost skeletons seemed to have gotten stronger since the last time they fought against each other.
"No sweat here Donnie boy!" Raph called out as he kept kicking down several Foot Ninja. One of the ninjas however acted quickly and tied Raph to the tree with his chain.
"Uh fellas? I'm breaking a sweat now!" Raph called out as a skeleton ghost came charging towards him with his axe, ready to cut him down.
Danny quickly flew over and froze the ghost and chain solid and then, broke the chain with his sword cutting it in half.
Mikey spun his nun chucks at the ninjas surrounding him. He suddenly yelped as his weapons were ripped out of his hands by a couple of chains sent at him by the Foot.
"These guys are a lot tougher than I remember." Mikey commented.
"Better trained too." Donnie agreed as he blocked oncoming strikes with his staff. "In fact, their fighting style seems very familiar."
Before the fight could continue, the sounds of helicopters could be heard. They looked and saw that it was indeed a couple of police helicopters, flying right towards them to inspect the area of the park.
The spotlight from the helicopters shone down on the spot where the fight was, but there was no longer any sign of Danny and the Turtles, the Foot, Ember and the skeleton ghosts.
"Since when does NYPD choppers patrol Foot operations?" Danny asked as he and his brothers hid under a bridge and watched as the helicopter flew past.
"What I'd like to know is what the shell was all that about?" Donnie wondered.
"Two words; alien technology." Raph answered.
"Right." Leo agreed. "Tons of it is still lying around from the big invasion and apparently, Shredder and Plasmius have got all the salvaging rights."
"And the police are helping him?" Danny asked as they headed to a sewer hatch.
"You throw enough cash in this city and you can make all kinds of new friends." Mikey commented as they entered the sewers.
Meanwhile back at the mansion, Vlad, the Mayor and Oroku Saki entered the main office. Saki quickly got changed into his usual attire and then stood beside Vlad and the Mayor.
The Mayor then asked, "So, those reporter's allegations? Anything I should know about?"
"I wouldn't be so concerned about what that reporter said Mr Mayor. It's simply just pure tabloid fantasy." Vlad said, showing his signature smile.
"It's just, the last thing I need in an election year is….." The Mayor began to say, when suddenly Hun entered the room.
"Masters. Urgent message." Hun spoke.
Saki frowned and reminded Hun with a slight growl, "I gave explicit instructions, that the Mayor and we were not to be disturbed."
Realising his mistake, Hun gave them a bow and then left the room. Saki then spoke, "You must forgive the rudeness of our bodyguard."
The Mayor then asked, "Was he wearing a Purple Dragons tattoo?"
"The dragon is a symbol of great honour in the land of my ancestors." Saki answered, his answer calming down the Mayor a bit.
They walked over to the table where several blueprints were. Vlad was the first one to speak, "Saki and I have been reviewing your plans for refurbishing for Times Square. I'm afraid forty-seven million dollars is out of the question."
The Mayor looked down, realising that there wasn't enough money to do what he had planned. Saki then finished, "Vlad is right. For Times Square, it will require one hundred and forty-seven million dollars. I have already wired the funds into the city's account."
"And I have also wired the funds into the account to continue the several buildings that were damaged during the invasion." Vlad added.
The Mayor smiled with relief and said to the two, "Well, I'm sure you two know best."
Danny and the Turtles continued to walk through the sewer tunnels, still thinking about the Shredder and Plasmius.
"Whatever Shredder and Plasmius want with that alien tech, it can't be good." Leo said. "The question is, how can we stop him?"
"The old wooden clog in the machine. Sabotage." Donnie answered.
Mikey smirked and asked, "You mean, break stuff?"
"Now you're talking language I understand." Raph said, slapping his fist into his hand with a smirk of anticipation.
"Those Foot copters we saw were heading towards the water front." Danny said and then they began to pick up the pace and head towards the waterfront.
In the now-empty office, Saki and Vlad stood. Saki then commanded, "Open."
A door behind a statue of Saki opened, revealing a hidden elevator. Vlad and Saki stepped inside and the doors closed. The elevator took them down to a secret underground lab, where their men were at work with the alien tech they had gathered so far.
Karai, Valerie, Stockman, Technus and Skulker stood to the side as the two stood before them. Vlad ordered, "Report."
Hun was the first to speak, "Masters, forgive my earlier interruption. But I thought you both would want to know, we encountered Danny and the Turtles near the Central Park salvage operation…."
Before Hun could finish, Saki grabbed his arm and squeezed it, causing Hun to yelp in pain and fall to his knees as he was being held.
Saki then sneered, "You are not to be seen or heard while we conduct our legitimate business with the Mayor! Is that clear?!"
"Yes Master!" Hun grimaced and then Saki released him.
"As for Daniel and the Turtles, we cannot allow them to interfere with our plans." Vlad ordered.
Suddenly, a red headed man with glasses and a lab coat came up to them and spoke up, "Actually, I have a little project that might come in handy. I've been…."
Stockman grabbed the man with his metal claw and snapped, "Never interrupt Mr Saki and Mr Masters, Dr Chaplan."
He released him and then said to Saki and Vlad, "You'll have to excuse the new guy, he's a little over enthusiastic and just needs to learn his place."
"Dr Chaplan?" Vlad asked.
"Dr Stockman and I hired him sir, and believe me when I say it he has potential." Technus spoke, speaking on his behalf. "He may just be a little bit more brilliant than Stockman here."
Vlad and Saki looked at Dr Chaplan with interest. Saki then ordered, "Then let's see this project of yours Dr Chaplan."
Stockman looked at the two in shock. They all followed Dr Chaplan to another room of the lab, revealing three Foot ninjas in high tech domes. Dr Chaplan then began to explain with a bright smile, "Well, when I say my project, it's really based on the brilliant work of Dr Stockman. I mean, he's a giant in this field. It's hard to believe I get to lead a tech team with my idol and a ghost who is the Master of Technology."
Stockman was officially offended and confused. He turned to Saki and Vlad and complained, "Lead? But I'm the Tech-Division leader."
Saki held up his hand, ordering Stockman to be silent. Dr Chaplan pulled out a remote and pressed a button. Suddenly risen on a platform, were four large robots. Two of them look like Karai, while the other two look like Valerie and each of them were made of metal the colour of gold, silver and black.
"Here they are. I call the Amazonian Blade Bots." Dr Chaplan introduced.
Karai looked at Dr Chaplan and asked with her arms crossed, "Do I detect a resemblance of me and my sister?"
"You two don't mind do you? It's just Valerie is a really strong ghost hunter and all but you….you're just so perfect." Dr Chaplan said, smiling romantically at Karai.
Karai frowned and looked away. Valerie giggled a little and then said sarcastically, "Smooth dude."
Dr Chaplan cleared his throat and then began to explain further as the Karai-Bots pulled out their weapons and the Valerie-Bots made high tech ghost rays appear out of their arms and automatic shields, "Anyway, these bots are the latest in remote-guided mech-technology. Completely controlled by our operatives in these geo-spear substations. They can even withstand all basic ghost powers, thanks to incorporating the metal with a little bit of ecto-ranium."
Vlad and Saki looked mildly impressed by these new machines. Stockman however merely smirked and commented, "Well, the video-game generation do enjoy their little playthings."
"You authorised this project Technus?" Vlad asked.
Technus nodded and answered, "Yes sir. He showed me these a couple of days ago and I am as impressed by them as you are."
"Then perhaps you could give us a demonstration Dr Chaplan?" Saki suggested, making Stockman gobsmacked.
Hun smirked and suggested, "Why not let Karai and Valerie test their metal?"
Valerie and Karai glared at Hun who continued to smirk at them. It was no secret that Hun never liked them, ever since what happened during when New York became part of a major turf war between the Foot, Vlad's ghost, the Mob and the Purple Dragons.
"Excellent suggestion." Saki agreed.
Knowing they had no choice, Karai and Valerie walked up to the centre of the room. Karai pulled out her sword and chain, while Valerie aimed her wrist ray and pulled out an ecto-staff.
The Foot ninja in the spheres immediately began to control the robots to begin the fight. Karai was the first to make a move on the sword wielding Karai-Bot. She wrapped the chain around its foot and pulled, trying to bring it down but it was so strong. The Karai-Bot sliced the chain in half and then bought its weapon down upon her.
Karai blocked the attack but the robot proved also to be more quicker and kicked Karai away. Valerie gasped and because she became distracted, she didn't see the Valerie-Bot coming right for her. Valerie jumped and dodged the oncoming blast coming at her from the robot and activated her jet sled.
However before she could fly off, the robot moved quickly and grabbed the end of it, spinning Valerie around until she fell off and landed hard on the ground. Valerie groaned and then watched as the robot snapped the board in half on its knee.
The Karai-Bot then came up at both of them, but Karai and Valerie managed to dodge. Valerie grabbed hold of Karai's hands and swung her around, allowing her to kick the robot down. However, the other Karai-Bot swung its chain and wrapped it around both Karai and Valerie, binding the two together.
It then pulled on the chain hard, spinning the two and threw them both to the floor. The other Valerie-Bot then pulled out an ecto-sword and aimed the sharp blade at the two girls. Just when it bought the weapon down and it seemed like it was the end for them, Vlad and Saki ordered, "HOLD!"
The blade stopped, just inches before them and then the robots placed their weapons away. Dr Chaplan then asked his bosses, "So, what do you think Mr Saki? Mr Masters?"
"You did hear him say this was all based on my work." Stockman reminded the two of them, clearly showing he didn't like being overshadowed by this new scientist.
"I believe you may have just given yourself an opportunity to put your robots to good use after all." Vlad said to Dr Chaplan.
"Indeed. If your robots prove themselves by destroying Daniel and the Turtles Dr Chaplan, then perhaps we can retire your mentor Dr Stockman once and for all." Saki said, making Stockman look in shock and fear at the sound of that.
"And who knows? It means that Technus will finally have someone working with him that doesn't complain as much as he does." Vlad added.
Hun and Skulker grinned at the sound of that. Hun was the one to say to Stockman, "Looks like somebody's going to be out of a job soon."
"We have other matters to attend to." Vlad spoke. He then turned to Skulker and ordered, "Skulker, you will go with Ember and continue to monitor the salvage operation in Central Park."
"Yes sir." Skulker said before phasing out of the lab.
Saki then ordered Karai and Valerie, "Karai, Valerie, you two proceed with the other operation we discussed."
The girls bowed in respect. Hun was in shock? What other operation? And why didn't he knew about it? He decided to voice his opinion, "Wait! Other operation? Is there something I should know Masters?"
But Saki and Vlad ignored him and left the lab. Stockman smirked and commented at Hun, "Apparently, I'm not the only one who's being considered for early retirement. "
Hun growled and glared, but Stockman merely chuckled at him.
Down at the water front, lying in the water was a Triceraton Tri-Base war ship. Another thing left behind during the invasion when the Federation began their attack and bought the huge ship down, almost drowning Casey, April, Tucker, Sam and Master Splinter.
Danny and the Turtles appeared from under water and watched as Foot soldiers were already there, working hard during their salvaging.
"A Triceraton Tri-Base and the Foot are already here." Leo said.
"Let's see if we can slow down their salvaging operation." Donnie said.
Raph cracked his knuckles and added, "Permanently."
Swimming underneath, they found an entrance. Since the Tri-Base had fallen on its side, everything was sideways as they walked down a hallway that looked like an elevator would normally be used to go up and down.
"Looks like we're in the central elevator shaft." Donnie described.
"This is weird. Everything is turned around." Danny commented.
"Elevator going down….I mean sideways!" Mikey joked as he used one of his nun chucks to zip line down the elevator wire.
"Mikey! Keep it down!" Donnie snapped.
Mikey stopped in front of one of the closed doors. Danny and Raph used their weapons to pry open the door, revealing what appeared to be a room full of explosives.
Raph whistled and then commented on their discovery, "Check out the armoury! We could have a heck of a Fourth of July with these fireworks."
Leo looked at the explosives with interest and said, "I think we just found a way to keep the Tri-Base out of Shredder's and Plasmius's hands."
They then headed to what looked like the main engine room and looked down to see Foot soldiers cutting out a triangular glass dome.
"So that's what they're after. The Tri-Base Power Core." Donnie concluded as he watched them hooking it up to a line.
"Doesn't look so dangerous to me." Mikey said.
"Are you kidding me? There's enough juice in that thing to wipe out the entire city and most of New Jersey too." Donnie said.
They began to raise the core up, heading towards the hole in the top. Raph then said, "We can take them out easy. They're not ninjas. Just a bunch of flunkies."
Raph jumped down and kicked the Foot soldier standing on top right off the core. However, two of the other ones wrapped chains around Raph's feet expertly and pulled him down. Danny changed into his ghost form and jumped down with the others to fight.
Mikey ran up to one of them, but the Foot soldier flipped Mikey right over his shoulders. Mikey landed roughly on a platform.
He sat up and groaned as he rubbed his head, "They sure don't fight like flunkies."
Danny and Leo pulled out their swords and began to fight two other soldiers with swords, blocking their attacks. The two recognised their fighting styles and Leo instantly told the others, "No! They fight like Karai and Valerie."
"So wait!" Donnie said as he held up his staff to defend against the soldier's saw, but the saw cut his staff right in half. He jumped back to avoid the saw being swung at him. "You're saying Karai and Valerie trained these flunkies?"
"I guess they are still working for the Shredder and Plasmius." Danny said as Leo cut down their swords and then Danny blasted the soldiers back with an ecto-wave from his own sword.
"Lucky us!" Raph said sarcastically as he kicked down to other soldiers.
Danny and Leo held on as Danny then cut the rope and the core fell right back down into its holder. Donnie leapt over to them and snapped, "Hey! Careful with that thing! Unless you want to vaporise everything within a hundred mile radius."
"Now that we've taken down the flunkies, how do we stop them from coming back for it?" Danny asked.
Donnie opened the lid to examine the inside as he answered, "By making it inoperable. We'll need something to short out its circuitry. Something like…"
As he thought, he suddenly watched as a small drop of water that was leaking from the river came down and hit the inside of the core. It created a small zap! And a small amount of smoke arose from the spot it hit.
That's when Donnie knew the solution, "Water. A lot of water. Salt water."
They went back to the room full of explosives and grabbed several of them. They placed the explosives around the flood gates. Donnie was setting the main control explosive to set off the other ones, opening the flood gates and allowing the water to shut down the power core and destroy any other salvageable alien tech.
Donnie set the timer on the main one and explained, "The timer is set for one trigon. About ten minutes according to my calculations."
"Plenty of time for us to get out." Leo said.
They suddenly heard footsteps and turned to see some shadowy figures coming towards them. Raph then corrected Leo, "Or for something else to get in."
Out of the shadows came the Karai-Bots and the Valerie-Bots. The robots pulled out their weapons and stood ready to take down Danny and the Turtles once and for all.
"This is new." Danny said.
They then recognised the faces and Danny shouted in shock, "Karai? Valerie?"
"A whole lot of Karai and Valerie." Raph said.
"Karai and Valerie twin sets!" Mikey added.
The robots came charging right for them. Danny tried to blasting one of them with an ecto-blast, but it just brushed it off like it was nothing and then one of the Valerie-Bots blasted Danny back, causing him to hit into the wall hard.
Donnie narrowly dodged the oncoming spear of the first Karai-Bot and Leo kept dodging the other Karai-Bot's chain as it kept throwing it at him.
Raph tried slicing his sai at the other Valerie-Bot's leg, but there was no affect. Not even a single scratch marked it.
"We really don't have time for this!" Raph said, remembering the limited amount of time they had to get out of the base before the explosives went off.
The Valerie-Bot kicked Raph away like he was an insect. The timer continued to count down as Donnie began climbing up the spiked wall.
"Guys come on! We need to get the shell out of here before those explosives explode!" Donnie called out.
The Karai-Bot holding the spear sliced the piece of rock Donnie was holding on to, causing Donnie to fall down onto the ground hard on his shell. The Karai-Bot landed and stood over him, holding its spear right up, preparing to swing it down and deliver the final blow.
Suddenly, the explosive above the robot went off and set it on fire, causing it to fall right on top of Donnie.
Danny quickly kicked the Valerie-Bot away and flew over to Donnie. He phased Donnie out from under the robot and asked, "Don! Are you alright?"
"I'm okay." Donnie answered.
"Come on! Let's go!" Leo called out and they all began to run as the other explosives began to go off.
True to their plan, the flood gates opened and the water began to pour in at a fast rate. Even though they ran as fast as they could, the water caught up with them and Danny, the Turtles and the robots got swept up by the flood.
Dr Chaplan watched from the screens of the control domes and ordered the soldiers with panic, "No! No! My Amazonian Blade-Bots! Get them out of the flood now!"
Stockman chuckled quietly, hoping that Dr Chaplan would fail at his task and it was already looking promising to him.
The robots climbed out of the water and began to continue their pursuit after Danny and the Turtles as they scaled the wall. Dr Chaplan smiled and said, "Yes! These babes are indestructible!"
Now Stockman was worried, "What if this young upstart punk actually succeeds in finishing the halfa and those reptiles? I'll be finished! Retired permanently!"
He looked back at Dr Chaplan and said quietly as he glared, "We'll see about that."
Danny and the Turtles emerged from out of the water, appearing back into the core-engine room. Leo looked at his brothers and asked them, "You guys alright?"
"Fine / swell / still kicking." Raph, Donnie and Danny all answered at the same time.
"I'd feel a whole lot better if we'd get out of the stinking Tri-base." Mikey said as the Tri-base began to sink into the ocean.
They began to climb up, heading towards the top to get out of the Tri-Base. They kept climbing and climbing, the water reached the power core and the sounds of zapping could be heard as the core was now short circuiting. The water began to boil and spark with electricity from the core.
They almost reached the top as Mikey commented, "That was close! But at least we made it up."
Suddenly, the Karai-Bots and the Valerie-Bots appeared once again above them. Leo then said, "Yeah, up but not out."
All of them swung up at the same time and kicked them down. They couldn't see it through the steam, but they heard the sound of splashing as one of the Karai-Bots and one of the Valerie-Bots fell into the water.
Mikey then cheered, "Yes! One toasted power core with a side order of bot fries!"
The other Karai-Bot and Valerie-Bot however managed to grab hold of a pole and swung right back up to them. The two kicked down Raph and Mikey, almost sending them towards the water, but they grabbed onto the poles and stopped themselves from falling.
Raph stuck his sai into the Karai-Bot's spear and knocked it out of its hands, sending it flying upwards. Danny's eyes glowed blue as he released a huge amount of ice energy and froze the two robots solid.
Danny then added a shield of ice on the blade of his sword, while Leo held the spear in his hand.
"Sorry Karai! / Sorry Valerie!" Danny and Leo said before the two used their weapons to slice the robots in half, completely destroying them and sending them into the boiling water below.
"Come on! Before we find ourselves going down with the ship!" Donnie reminded them and the five continued to climb their way out.
As the Tri-Base continue to sink, the base suddenly moved to the side more, making the room full of explosives now the other way around. They suddenly heard footsteps and turned to see coming out of the steam was the other Karai-Bot and Valerie-Bot.
"Not again! What the shell are these things made of?!" Raph exclaimed.
Dr Chaplan however was happy to see his last two robots survived and cheered, "Yes! That's right. They take a licking and keep on ticking!"
Stockman had enough and decided to end it once and for all. He discreetly went over to the control panel and began to hack the system.
The robots were about to fight when suddenly, they began to spark with electricity and malfunction. Before they knew it, the robots fell right into the room full of explosives.
"About time we caught a lucky break." Mikey said.
Donnie however didn't think of it as a lucky break, "Are you out of your shell?! Those sparking Karai and Valerie bots just fell into a room full of Triceraton explosives!"
Danny quickly grabbed them all and began to fly them out of there at top speed as they all began to scream. The explosives went off and the force of the explosion sent them all crashing into the water below as a ball of flame sprung out with a….KABOOOOM!
They all quickly swam to the surface and watched as the Tri-Base sunk into the ocean in a fiery explosion, never to be seen or salvage again. Before they could comprehend what happened, the heard the sound of something approaching them.
They turned around and saw it was a speed boat. In it was Karai and Valerie. They stopped the boat in front of Danny and the Turtles and looked down at them.
They could hear the Shredder ask through their head-sets, "Karai, Valerie, what is the status of Daniel and the Turtles? Have they been captured?"
"Or destroyed?" They heard Plasmius then ask.
Karai and Valerie looked upon the faces of Leo and Danny. Valerie looked at Karai who nodded. Valerie nodded back and replied to the Shredder and Plasmius, "No my lords. I'm afraid they got away."
With that all over, Karai drove the boat away leaving Danny and the Turtles where they were. Mikey then asked sarcastically, "What? They couldn't give us a lift?!"
Raph slapped Mikey in the back of the head and said, "Shut up and swim!"
With their mission over, they began to swim back home.
Saki and Vlad looked at Dr Chaplan, wanting an explanation for what happened with the robots. Dr Chaplan said clearly confused, "I don't know what happened. The robots were working perfectly and then, somehow they just self-destructed."
Stockman looked at the system and said with a smirk as though he had nothing to do with what happened, "Here's the problem; a glitch in the power surge protection code. Rookie mistake. One I can easily correct."
They would never know that it was really Stockman who caused the robots to self-destruct. Saki and Vlad headed towards the elevator, where Karai and Valerie were standing waiting for them with a metal box.
Stockman and Hun followed them as Stockman said, "Please don't blame the boy. It's my fault. I should've checked his programming more thoroughly."
"See that you do in the future Stockman." Vlad sneered as they stood inside the elevator. He then gestured to the metal box as he continued, "This entire project would've been a complete failure, had we not heeded Karai and Valerie's advice. The Tri-Base operation was simply a decoy for Daniel and the Turtles while they recovered our true objective."
Stockman immediately spoke up, "I would be happy to examine any alien technology you were able to…."
Hun shoved Stockman away and interrupted, "I can assist you both in any way….."
Saki interrupted both of them with a sneer, "Enough! Karai, Valerie, Vlad and I need to discuss how best to rid this organisation of dead weight!"
The elevator door shut, cutting the two off. Karai then began to speak, "My lords if I may? This ongoing project of obtaining alien technology? Costs are sky-rocketing."
"It's true sirs. And I have a feeling they're going to continue to sky-rocket the more we continue." Valerie added.
The two simply grinned as if it was nothing important. Saki then said, "We appreciate your concern girls, but money will be meaningless where we will be going."
That left Valerie and Karai wondering what were they planning and what did they mean by that?
