A news report came on, showing the footage of the city of Beijing still floating ever since the Triceratons invaded Earth.
"And now to our continuing coverage pf the floating Beijing crisis." The newsman reported. "It's been several months since the invading Triceratons lifted the entire capital city of China into the stratosphere. The atmospheric shield that surrounds the city has been proven impenetrable."
He continued as the footage then showed several scientists at the generator that was keeping the city floating, trying to access it using different hacking programs, "The city is kept aloft by a huge Triceraton anti-gravity generator and while efforts by Beijing's top scientific minds to gain control this alien technology have been undertaken….."
A wave of energy surrounded the generator and the city rose higher. The scientist quickly pressed a few buttons on his laptop and the city immediately stopped rising.
"….the results have proven near disastrous." The reporter continued. "With no way, out or even down, there seems to be no way to save the poor people of Beijing."
MISSION OF GRAVITY
At a warehouse outside the city, Dr Chaplan waited outside as a helicopter belonging to the Foot landed. The doors opened and out stepped Hun, Stockman, Oroku Saki, Vlad Masters, Karai and Valerie.
"Dr Chaplan, I trust what you have to show us will justify this excursion from the city?" Saki asked.
Dr Chaplan smiled and said as he gestured to the warehouse, "Believe me Master, you're gonna big it big time."
The doors opened and they all stepped inside, the surrounding lights revealing a high tech blimp aircraft with the symbol of the Foot on the front of it.
Stockman asked unimpressed, "You bought us all the way out here for a blimp? What pea-brained halfwit authorised this project?"
Vlad and Saki glared at Stockman for his insult as they both answered, "We did."
Stockman suddenly looked nervous and quickly covered up his mistake, "Oh! Well, I'm sure you both have your reasons, my wise and revered masters."
"Indeed." Vlad said. He then turned to Dr Chaplan and complimented, "Excellent work Dr Chaplan."
"I installed that Triceraton force field mechanism you recovered, just as you requested." Dr Chaplan explained his work as he pressed a button, opening a hatch at the bottom. "This baby will breach the atmospheric shield around Beijing and retrieve the desired cargo."
"And what does the boy genius thinks he's retrieving?" Stockman asked.
"The Triceraton anti-gravity generator that is currently in Beijing right at this very moment." Vlad answered.
Stockman knew what this meant and after quickly doing the calculations in his head, he decided to voice his concerns aloud, "But Mr Masters, removing an anti-gravity generator from a city that's floating 20 miles from the Earth's surface, is a virtual suicide mission."
"Yes. That is why I have selected you to lead this operation." Saki ordered Stockman.
"Me?" Stockman asked nervously.
Karai looked at Valerie and saw the concerned look on her face. She knew what she was thinking, since she was thinking the same thing. Once the generator was removed, what would happen to all those people who were currently trapped on the floating city?
"But Masters, what about the millions of innocents that will perish when Beijing crashes down to Earth?" Karai asked.
"Isn't there some other way to retrieve the generator?" Valerie then asked.
"The people are of no concern to us." Vlad answered. "Retrieving that generator is the only thing that matters."
Hun sneered at the two girls, "How dare you two question your masters!"
He then smiled at Saki and Vlad and said, "I'm behind this plan one hundred percent."
"Good. You will have the honour of accompanying Dr Stockman on this extremely dangerous mission." Saki ordered, forcing the smile to fall from Hun's face.
Karai and Valerie remained behind as the others went inside to inspect the blimp Dr Chaplan had created. They may had to follow orders, but they weren't going to let innocent people's lives to be destroyed, but they also knew that if they were going to save lives, they were going to need a little help.
Meanwhile under the cover of night back in the city, Danny and the Turtles were observing another salvage operation.
"There it is. Just like I told you. Another one of Shredder's and Plasmius's alien tech garbage picking goon squads." Raph said after he led his brothers to the sight.
"I wonder what they're collecting all that stuff for." Donnie wondered.
"Intergalactic yard sale?" Mikey joked, which earned him a slap to the back of the head by Raph.
Leo looked at the operation going on using his night vision goggles and said, "No police security this time. Must be something really important buried down there if Shredder and Plasmius don't want the authorities to know about it."
The sound of Donatello's shell cell suddenly rang. He answered it, "Hello?"
The same strange fax noise was heard, loud enough for the others to hear as well.
Danny asked, "That fax call again?"
"Yep. Only this time I came prepared with my palm top to trace the signal." Donnie answered as he pulled out his small computer and was immediately confused to see that instead of tracing the mysterious call, something began to download.
"Download in progress? Impossible." Donnie commented, baffled and confused.
"You'll have to figure it out later Don." Leo said as he kept surveying the salvage op.
Donnie pulled down his own night vision goggles and took a look. He then recognised the large ship and said, "That's a Triceraton supply ship."
"That means that there must be a whole lot of alien tech in there, which Shredder and Plasmius can't wait to get their hands on." Danny figured.
"Let's take a closer look." Leo said.
Back at the blimp, Hun and Stockman were in the main control room getting ready for the mission to Beijing. Both of them were not happy to be put on this mission and that lately, Shredder and Plasmius have been listening more to Karai, Valerie and Dr Chaplan.
"All our loyal service and this is the thanks we get? Pushed aside by the new blood." Hun complained, referring to the three main people they both hated at the moment.
"Perhaps it's time we started pushing back." Stockman suggested, for once agreeing with Hun.
The doors opened and Dr Chaplan walked in and stood before Stockman as he said, "Hey, I just wanted to say that no matter how bad the Shredder and Plasmius treats you, I'm still honoured to be working with the legendary Baxter Stockman. Even if you are a freakish brain in the jar shadow of your former self."
Stockman's holographic face glared at that last part.
Dr Chaplan however continued, "The truth is, I can't stand seeing someone I admire reduced to such a pathetic existence. So I've decided to put an end to your suffering."
Before Stockman could do anything, Dr Chaplan lifted him up off the hover pod.
"No! What are you…." Stockman began to protest in complete shock and horror, but Dr Chaplan pressed the red button to turn off the holographic feature.
He carried Stockman near the door, but Hun just stood there and did nothing. He wondered if Dr Chaplan was going to fully destroy Stockman.
As Danny and the Turtles began to check out the area, they noticed that all the Foot soldiers weren't there anymore.
"No Foot goons." Mikey commented.
"Where did they all go?" Donnie asked.
"I don't like it." Leo said, getting a strange vibe. "Keep your eyes open."
"Leo has a point. Just because the Foot's not here, doesn't mean that ghosts could be hiding about." Danny added. "Although, my ghost sense isn't going off."
"You guys think they're in the ship?" Raph asked.
"Only one way to find out." Leo answered.
They entered the ship and looked around, but they didn't find anything or even much technology. Donnie inspected the cargo and said, "There's nothing here of any value to the Shredder or Plasmius."
The door suddenly closed, trapping them inside.
"Nothing except us halfa's and turtles." Mikey exclaimed.
They all ran to the door and began to push with all their might, trying to force it open, but it wouldn't budge. The lights suddenly came on and they head footsteps behind them. They turned around and out of the shadows and into the light, came Karai and Valerie.
"Karai? / Valerie?" Leo and Danny asked, removing their night vision goggles.
"We need to talk." Valerie said.
Raph however still didn't trust them, especially after what happened back on the ship when they almost tried to execute them. He snapped at them in anger and pulled out his weapons, "Talk to the sais, because the ears ain't listening."
Danny gently lowered Raph's hands and said, "Raph wait! Let's just hear them out first. They did help us last time remember? After we blew up that Triceraton base? They didn't tell the Shredder they found us in the water."
"That may be true, but don't you remember that they also tried to kill you and Leo the time before that?" Mikey reminded them, also remembering what happened back when they first met Danielle.
"I apologise for the elaborate set-up, but we knew no other way of contacting you." Karai said. "Valerie and I need your help."
Danny and the Turtles glanced at each other, wondering what help they could need since they had gone through all the trouble to trap them inside the ship.
Back at the blimp. The door opened and a huge robotic body came walking in. Hun watched as Dr Chaplan took out Stockman from the jar still smiling and handed him to the robot. The robot placed Stockman inside and a bunch of wires connected to his brain.
The chest then closed and Stockman's holographic head appeared at the top shouting, "Release me at once you…."
He stopped when he saw he was in a brand new body. Dr Chaplan smiled and asked his idol, "What do you think of your new body?"
Stockman stretched out his new robotic limbs and smiled like it was Christmas. It had been so long since he had a body, ever since he became reduced to being nothing but a brain in a jar thanks to the multiple punishments Shredder and Plasmius had put him through.
"I have limbs! HA! Powerful limbs!" Stockman cheered.
"I'd figured you'd need them to survive the big mission." Dr Chaplan said.
As soon as he mentioned the mission, a sudden idea came to Stockman's head. A truly murderous, awful idea.
"Ah yes. The mission." Stockman began, putting the first part of his plan to action. "Pity you'll miss out on the maiden voyage of this incredible vessel you designed with your own two hands."
He walked over to a bench and slammed his arms down as he finished gleefully, "Not to mention, witness firsthand as an entire city crashes down from the stratosphere!"
"That'll be so cool!" Dr Chaplan said, wishing he could go on the mission.
Stockman discreetly smirked and then suggested, "Of course, you could go behind our Master's back and join us. But that would be wrong, wouldn't it?"
Dr Chaplan shrugged and said, "Hey, what the boss doesn't know won't hurt him right?"
Hun rubbed his chin as he started thinking that Stockman was planning something. Dr Stockman then said, "True and I would assume full responsibility for your wellbeing during the entire mission. After all, we wouldn't want you to fall victim to some unfortunate accident."
He grinned, his plan was coming into action right before his very eyes.
"…..and so if they remove the anti-gravity generator, they will be sending millions to their doom." Karai finished explaining what the Shredder and Plasmius were planning.
"We need you guys to come with us to prevent this from happening." Valerie said.
"So, does this mean you two have finally come to your senses and turn your backs on the Shredder and Plasmius?" Leo asked hopefully.
"We are duty bound to serve the Shredder and Plasmius as always." Karai reminded him. "We just don't want millions of people to suffer."
"The people of Beijing are innocent and deserve to live." Valerie added.
"But even if we did agree to help you two, what's to stop the Shredder and Plasmius from coming back for the anti-gravity generator the next time?" Donnie asked. "I mean, it's not like we can shut it down."
Suddenly, a familiar voice spoke right out of Donnie's bag, "Actually, I might be able to provide some assistance regarding that technical conundrum."
"Woah! I must be hearing things." Mikey said in shock. "That sounded like Professor Honeycutt."
Donnie pulled out his palm top and on the screen was the face of Professor Honeycutt!
"Hello." Professor Honeycutt greeted.
"IT IS PROFESSOR HONEYCUTT!" Donnie shouted.
They all gathered around the small screen as Raph exclaimed, "Professor, you're alive! No way!"
"Impossible! We saw you sacrifice yourself to save the world." Danny said, remembering how Professor Honeycutt had given up his life to stop the insane war between the Triceratons and the Federation.
"Oh dear! I don't remember any of that." Professor Honeycutt said. "The last thing I remember, I was on a rooftop with Donatello and Jasmine broadcasting a signal to make me invisible to the Triceratons. What I didn't tell you, was that I also uploaded a back-up of my memory core into the satellites communication network. It was set to contact you in the event of my destruction, which I'm assuming must have happened."
"So you were the one making those calls to my shell cell and the download? That was you sending your memory core to my palm top." Donnie said, impressed with Professor Honeycutt's idea.
"Well, most of it. Your hard drive was lacking capacity, so I had to forgo some non-essential information." Professor Honeycutt explained.
Mikey held the palm top and said with a smile, "Who cares Professor? I'm just so happy to see you!"
"Sorry. Do I know you?" Professor Honeycutt asked, confused to who was speaking to him.
"Michelangelo." Mikey answered.
Professor Honeycutt didn't say anything. Mikey tried again, "Mikey? The Mikester?"
The Professor still made no indication that he knew who Mikey was. Mikey frowned and asked, "Wait! I'm not essential information?"
"Anyway, I couldn't overhear your dilemma Miss…." Professor Honeycutt said, getting back to the matter of hand.
"My name is Karai and this is my sister Valerie." Karai introduced.
"With my knowledge of Triceraton technology, I should be able to gain control of the anti-gravity generator and safely lower the City of Beijing back to Earth...in theory." Professor Honeycutt finished.
"Saving millions of people in the process! That's brilliant Professor." Danny said, smiling brightly.
"Does this mean we have a deal?" Valerie asked.
Leo looked at his brothers and they nodded. Leo agreed, "Deal."
He then asked, "Okay, now how do we get into Beijing?"
"Leave that to us." Valerie answered.
Karai instructed the Foot soldier to place the crate down into the cargo hold of the blimp. After much convincing, the Shredder and Plasmius agreed to allow Karai and Valerie to go on the mission to oversee that it didn't fail.
Hun asked both Karai and Valerie suspiciously, "What's in the crate girls? And why are you two suddenly joining this mission?"
"That's really none of your business Hun." Valerie answered.
Hun growled at them as they walked away from him, he was really getting tired of the two of them. Dr Chaplan watched as the Foot soldiers loaded several huge metal balls into the cargo hold.
"What exactly is all this?" Stockman asked.
"That'll spoil the surprise." Dr Chaplan said with a proud smile as he patted one of the metal balls.
Once everything was loaded in, the top of the warehouse opened up and the blimp took off into the air, heading out of the United States and on its way to Beijing, China.
As they were flying, Hun saw Valerie's bracelet's that activated her suit and smirked.
"Those girls are up to something, so I'll first leave a little surprise for Valerie." He said to himself and then pulled out a very tiny circular device and placed it on one of her bracelets. The door opened and he noticed her coming, he quickly put the bracelet down and walked away.
Valerie picked up the bracelets and put them back on, unaware of what Hun placed on one of them.
It took several hours, but they finally made it and they were getting closer to the floating city. Dr Chaplan announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to China. Beijing is dead ahead."
Valerie activated her suit and followed Karai to the cargo hold. After making sure no-one was around, they silently walked over to the crate.
Karai tapped on the crate and whispered to Danny and the Turtles who were inside, "Stand by. We are approaching Beijing."
"About time. I really got to go to the little turtle's room." Mikey complained.
As they got closer to the shield, Dr Chaplan pressed a button and the entire blimp glowed blue, allowing the blimp to phase right through the shield and enter safely into Beijing. Hun hid behind one of the crates and watched as Valerie and Karai were sneaking around near the crate they bought aboard.
"I knew you two were up to something." Hun whispered.
He walked back and elbowed one of the buttons as he said, "Happy landing girls."
The bottom suddenly opened up and Karai, Valerie and the crate carrying Danny and the Turtles fell, hurtling towards the ground. Valerie tried to activate her hover-board, but it wouldn't work. She tried again but once again it didn't work.
Danny and the Turtles felt themselves falling. Raph shouted, "I knew we should have never trusted Karai and Valerie!"
"We can argue later! Everybody brace!" Leo ordered and then kicked the crate open.
They all jumped out and then Donnie, Raph and Mikey pulled the strings on their packs and it activated their hang-gliders, saving them from falling further as they hovered in the air.
Donnie then noticed Danny and Leo diving down. Leo didn't have his hang-glider activated and Danny wasn't in his ghost form.
"Guys! What are you waiting for?! Deploy!" Donnie shouted to them.
But they kept diving until they reached Karai and Valerie. Leo quickly grabbed Karai and activated his hang-glider, narrowly missing the building by an inch as they flew off. Danny grabbed Valerie and immediately changed into his ghost form just as they nearly hit the road below and flew up to join Leo and Karai.
"That was a close shave." Danny commented.
"But we made it." Leo added.
"Of course, now please land Leonardo and Daniel. We have much work to do." Karai said.
Valerie looked at Danny and said, "Danny….thank you. To both you and Leo for saving our lives."
Danny smiled at Valerie and said, "You're welcome."
Hun joined Dr Chaplan and Stockman in the control room as Dr Chaplan said, "We're just about to touch down in Tiananmen Square."
He finally noticed Karai and Valerie weren't in the control room and asked, "Where's Karai and Valerie?"
"She got bumped from the mission." Hun lied, secretly though proud that he got rid of Karai and Valerie. "Apparently she had a little falling out with the organisation."
In a small part of the city, a man was riding on his bike and cart, when he saw Danny, the Turtles, Karai and Valerie coming in for a landing. At the sight of Danny and the Turtles, the man got scared and ran off, leaving his mode of transport behind.
"Hey! What was with the instant sky-diving lesson?" Mikey asked, glaring at Karai and Valerie as they landed and their hang-gliders folded back into their packs.
"And why didn't you just use your hover-board to save yourself and Karai?" Donnie asked Valerie.
"It wasn't our fault Mikey and it seems that someone messed with one of my bracelets, stopping me from activating my hover-board." Valerie answered.
"I have a feeling who that someone is responsible for our rough landing." Karai said, thinking of Hun.
"You know what your problem is girls? Neither of you can decide on whether you want to help us or kill us! Make up your mind!" Raph sneered, getting angry.
He pulled out his sais and was about to fight them, but Leo held him back and ordered, "Not now Raph! We're miles off target and we need to get to Tiananmen Square."
Donnie saw the cart and climbed in as he suggested, "Hey guys, how about this? It's low tech, but effective especially if Danny uses energy as like a booster."
Leo nodded agreeing to use the bike and cart. He turned and said, "Hope in girls."
But it seemed that Karai and Valerie had vanished, without a trace.
At the anti-gravity generator, security had surrounded the area to ensure no-one went near the generator without access. They then noticed the large blimp and shined their spotlights at it, trying to determine who it belonged to.
"Great! Nobody warned us we'd have a welcome committee to contend with." Stockman said.
Dr Chaplan however continued to smile and said as he pressed one of the buttons on the control panel, "No sweat doc. Time to unleash my surprise."
The cargo hold opened and out fell the huge metal balls Dr Chaplan had packed before they left New York. The balls landed and suddenly transformed into what appeared to be majorly upgraded versions of Stockman's Mousers that he made the very first time he had met Danny and the Turtles.
These Mousers walked on four spider-like legs instead of two, had four red eyes and more powerful jaws.
The security screamed and ran away from the area, afraid of being eaten by the robots. Dr Chaplan said with pride, "Mousers version 2.0."
One of the security guards tried to fire his weapon on one of the robots, but the bullets had no effect on it.
"I took your basic design and gave it a little upgrade. Cool huh?" Dr Chaplan asked, hoping he impressed his idol.
"Humph! Upgrade? More like a side-grade." Stockman commented, folding his arms and showing he was not impressed with what he did to his Mousers.
One of the Mousers roared as it completely destroyed one of the spotlights with its mighty jaw. The robots continued to destroy each of the spotlights and scaring off the security, allowing Stockman, Hun and Dr Chaplan to get closer to the generator.
The robots then proceeded and ripped apart the wire fence, scaring off more security and the scientists who were working to find a way to bring Beijing back down. The blimp hovered over the generator and lowered down a few metres.
Stockman stood from the cargo hold and lowered down the giant claw from the blimp down, where it hooked onto the top of the generator. Dr Chaplan then lowered himself down the wire and climbed down the ladder, heading for the main power terminal of the generator.
Mikey steered the bike while Danny used his ecto-blasts as a rocket boost from the back of the cart, getting them to anti-gravity generator.
"Anti-gravity generator dead ahead. Ready to work your magic Professor?" Donnie asked Professor Honeycutt as they got closer to the generator.
Stockman suddenly noticed them and asked in shock, "What?! How on earth did those meddlesome freaks get here?"
Dr Chaplan heard Stockman through his comlink and saw Danny and the Turtles as well, as he connected his laptop to the main power terminal. He smirked and said, "I got this one Dr Stockman."
He ordered his robots, "Mousers, attack!"
The Mousers turned and saw their target. Danny and the Turtles jumped out of the cart and bike and readied their weapons.
"Funny, Karai and Valerie didn't mention anything about giant Mousers!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Nothing fancy guys. Just clear a path for Don and the Professor." Leo ordered.
Leo leapt up and jumped on top of a couple of the robots, before slicing his swords at one of them. Donnie swung his staff as he charged forward and knocked back a couple of Mousers, before leaping up to dodge an oncoming jaw.
Raph, Danny and Mikey stood together as three Mousers surrounded them. Danny's eyes glowed blue as he fired some of his ice energy at the ground, making it slippery and the Mousers to wobble a bit as they tried to regain their balance.
Dr Chaplan turned back to the main power terminal and told Stockman, "Commencing shut down sequence. Get ready to haul me up when this baby rips free from the pavement."
Donnie managed to continue to dodge the oncoming attacking robots and grabbed onto the side of the generator. He immediately began to climb.
Dr Chaplan laughed as he saw him coming up, "You're too late green guy."
Suddenly a strange noise was heard coming from the generator and everywhere began to shake, completely taking Dr Chaplan by surprise.
"WHAT?!" He shouted.
A wave of energy coming from the generator flowed down from the top, catching everyone's attention.
"What the shell is going on now?" Danny asked.
Dr Chaplan held his face in shock as he shouted, "That's not supposed to happen!"
The city suddenly began to fall at an extremely fast rate, the gravity of falling causing Danny and the Turtles, the Mousers and the people of Beijing to float up and scream.
Dr Chaplan climbed back up to the top of the hook and ordered Stockman, "Pull me up! We're gonna have to ditch it!"
Stockman saw his chance and pressed a button, "Oh, that's not all we're gonna ditch my boy!"
The cable lowered until it completely ran out and broke free from the blimp, leaving Dr Chaplan stranded at the top of the generator. Stockman immediately flew the blimp out of Beijing and began to head back for the United States.
"Way to much free fall for one day!" Mikey shouted as they continued to float around as the city fell.
"Showtime Professor." Donnie said as he pulled out the Professor and used the gravity to float over to the main power terminal.
A beam of light came from the palm top, allowing the Professor to access the terminal and he said as he immediately began to work, "Now a carefully regulates surge in the anti-gravity flux capacitor, should decrease the descent at a rate of 12.6 thraxors per trigon."
Immediately the city began to slow down and continued to do so as it began to lower down safely. The decrease in speed caused the people, Mousers, Danny and the Turtles to float back down the ground gently.
"Yes!" Mikey cheered before kissing the ground in relief. "Back on solid ground."
"Unfortunately so are they!" Raph said as he gestured to the Mousers who immediately roared and began their attack once again.
Dr Chaplan felt himself lowered down to the ground. He cheered happily, "I'm alive! I'm alive!"
Suddenly as another Mouser came down, it hit him hard on the head and made the young scientist fall unconscious.
"How are we holding up?" Donnie asked.
"I'm afraid I'll have to divert power from the atmospheric shield." Professor Honeycutt answered and immediately began to do so. "Although the wind resistance may actually work in our favour."
As soon as the shield dropped, a huge gust of wind blew all around them. Although Danny, Raph, Leo and Mikey fought hard against the robots, it seemed that they were stronger than the original Mousers they dealt with before.
"As if we didn't have enough problems." Leo commented as the Mousers surrounded them.
Suddenly coming to their aid at the last moment, was Karai and Valerie. Valerie stood with her ecto-grenade launcher ready and Karai swung her chain weapon at the ready.
"About time you two showed up!" Raph said.
"We couldn't afford to be seen coming to your aide earlier." Karai said, before leaping up and knocking back a couple of the Mousers back with her chain weapon.
"If the Shredder or Plasmius were to find out…." Valerie told them, not wanting to finish that sentence.
"Enough talk! Let's do it!" Leo shouted.
Mikey leapt up and rode the Mouser like he was a cowboy and steered it, causing it to snap on one of the other robots and completely destroy it.
Danny took a deep breath and released a Ghostly Wail, taking out two of the Mousers, before flying up and slamming his sword right through another Mousers head, cutting it completely in half as he landed.
One of the Mousers climbed up towards Donnie, but the turtle used his staff to knock it back a bit, before delivering a split kick sending it falling to ground and landing hard, completely destroyed.
Donnie looked at the status and said, "The city is almost back on terra firma."
Mikey screamed as he was thrown off his Mouser and hit the fence hard. Two Mousers slammed together and knocked Leo down, one Mouser grabbed Raph by his belt with its jaw and threw him to the ground. Danny took out another Mouser, but one jumped right on top of him and he struggled to hold its jaw back with his sword.
Valerie used her ecto-grenade launcher to take out a Mouser, but one of them head butted her in the back, causing her to lose her weapon and it landed right in the jaws of another Mouser, where it roared and snapped it with a powerful bite.
Karai was pushed down by the robot, struggling to hold it back as it snapped at her. Each Mouser had Danny, Leo, Raph and Mikey pinned down and ready to finish them as their master had commanded them to.
Professor Honeycutt activated the final part he needed to and suddenly, a huge electro-magnetic pulse released and hit the Mousers dead on, completely shutting them down and saving all their lives. A rumble was heard as Beijing was finally lowered gently back into place on Earth.
"That electro-magnetic pulse should have burnt out this device, whilst simultaneously also nullifying those awful ruffians." Professor Honeycutt said and Donnie smiled, as it did do what it was supposed to do.
Now not only were the Mousers were destroyed and Beijing was safe, but the Shredder and Plasmius couldn't use the generator for anything they had planned.
Donnie joined the others down below. Karai and Valerie looked around and were relieved that they had completed their mission.
"It is over." Karai said.
The two began to walk away, but Danny stopped them and said, "It's not over until you two walk away from the Shredder and Plasmius Karai."
"You guys know we can't do that. We have a duty to them and we have to honour it." Valerie reminded them once more.
Leo turned them around and said, "This is the perfect opportunity. They think you're both dead. You can disappear and start over."
"We will help you start a new life, you only have to ask." Danny added.
The girls looked down and though in their heart they really wanted to, they couldn't. Karai then asked, "Could you turn your back on your father? Even if you knew the things he did were wrong?"
None of them could answer that question, but knew what she meant. Donnie then noticed something strange about Beijing.
Raph asked, "What are you looking at?"
"Isn't the Forbidden City supposed to North from here?" Donnie asked, confused by the position of the city.
"And isn't the sun supposed to rise in East?" Mikey also asked, noticing how the sun was in fact, rising in the West.
Professor Honeycutt realised what had happened and asked, "Oh dear! Have I set the city down facing in the wrong direction?"
Back in New York, Hun and Stockman were at Foot HQ. They stood in the elevator heading for the underground lab, ready to report on the mission.
"The masters will be disappointed that we came back empty-handed." Hun said.
"Not to mention, the unfortunate demise of Karai, Valerie and young Dr Chaplan." Stockman added. "We'll blame it all on them. Just follow my lead."
They entered the lab, where Saki and Vlad were waiting for them. Neither of them were smiling. Stockman was the first to speak as they approached them, "Master, we have unfortunate news. Karai, Valerie and Dr Chaplan are…."
Saki held up his hand to silence him and spoke, "Wait."
He suddenly turned on the screen and standing in Beijing alive and well was Dr Chaplan, Karai and Valerie as he finished, "Perhaps you would like to share your news with Karai, Valerie and Dr Chaplan."
"Hi Dr Stockman. Everything's okay. We made it." Dr Chaplan spoke to the shocked faces of Stockman and Hun.
They looked at Saki and Vlad as they both glared at them and Vlad sneered, "Care to share anything else?"
"But…but sirs….we can explain…." Stockman stuttered as Vlad and Saki came closer.
The sound of two people being punished could be heard from the lab.
