Chapter 1- What's up, danger?

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or Pokemon

Unova - Route 19 - Bianca

What does it take to be a world class pokemon researcher?

Guts!

Spirit!

And the willingness to stare danger in the face and smile! Asking to be its best friend!

Well, at least that's what I thought until I found myself on a boat surrounded by a school of Basculin currently engaged in a territorial skirmish. The red striped fish zooming in straight lines in the water, rushing towards the blue striped Basculin. While the blue striped ones circled around the red ones and unleashed water guns and bubble-beams at their attackers.

Like wow, why did I think this was a good idea? I stared longingly at my bag and pokeballs which lay under a tree at the shore, I'd left them there because I didn't want them to get wet…

"Safety first!" I remembered Professor Juniper saying with a stern face during my first day of work. "Research is sometimes dangerous, especially field work. So always think twice before the urge to sit down before rampaging pokemon and take notes strikes you!" I sheepishly scratched the back of my head. O-Oops? Guess I only thought once. H-Haha?

"A-Aaah"! I shrieked as the Basculins' fight jostled my small wooden boat again, throwing me to the edges and almost tumbling me over. Hanging onto the boat for dear life and gulping, all the while being splashed by water thrown up by those fishes' attacks, I considered my options.

Option 1! Swim ashore!

I gazed at the foaming, raging and turbulent waters… Okay! Next option!

Option 2! Yell for help!

I took a deep breath and yelled. "Heeelp-!"

The fish cut me off- Splash! The water thundered with their flapping around and attacking each other.

I frowned and tried again, cupping my hands around my mouth. "Heeelp!"

Whoosh! Burble! Thud!

A Basculin flew up and made an arch over my boat and splashed down into the water again… I'm pretty sure it stuck its tongue out at me and made a face.

Wow! I didn't know wild fish had an attitude! I grinned and quickly grabbed my notebook and began scribbling notes-

Professor Juniper's voice yelled in my ear.

"Bianca! There's a time and place for everything, but not now!"

I winced, freshly reprimanded and putting my notebook back into my jacket. How does she do that? And I'm not the only one! Cheran told me he'd feel a shiver crawl up his back whenever he tried to ride a bike indoors. And Hilda would sometimes get nightmares of the Professor chiding her whenever she went too wild having fun with her pokemon and disrupted the public peace. I chuckled. Haha, I mean Hilda did ride into our hometown on a legendary dragon and almost gave her mom a heart attack.

Hmm, I guess I'll have to strike the fear of propriety into young trainers when I become a professor myself!

…still need to find a research direction though.

At first I thought maybe I'd study the variation in incubation periods between various species of pokemon. Because baby pokemon! And babies are always so cute and cuddly!

But then Cheran told me he's becoming a gym leader and… you know… Compared to that, staring at eggs just seems so…

Boring.

So I got thinking again, and scouring the internet for what's hot and what's cooking in the research community.

There was a recent talk by Professor Samuel Oak from Kanto, where he goes into his findings on pokemon development in the wild vs being raised by trainers. Where he went in depth into biological, psychological differences and how certain pokemon thrive in human families while other pokemon become stunted and suffer.

Professor Juniper seemed thrilled when we watched the talk together. Samuel Oak is one of her idols after all.

I frowned, scratching my pen against my head.

I'd be thrilled too but…

After meeting a man who claims to speak to the hearts of pokemon… N… That green haired… umm… I winced. I-I don't want to call him a weirdo but I can't really think of another word.

After meeting him though, and hearing about how he just talked a legend into befriending him…

Yeah, Professor Oak's research seems just so mundane before that. Heck, I'd read a research paper by N any day if he ever felt like going in that direction. I especially want to know what cues he looks for in pokemon, how he interprets their body language and what his technique is. Most of all, I suspect he has some kind of innate understanding of the pokemon's language…

Does that mean all pokemon have a common tongue? I mean, they'd have to if N is able to talk to each of them without much trouble.

I grinned, making small notes in my notebook as I thought about this.

See?

This is much more interesting than the stuff I found online.

But…

I sighed and stashed my book away.

I'm not N, and I can't really understand pokemon like he does. So investigating this further without his help would be moot. And I really don't want to meet him again.

…he seems kinda dangerous, despite his change of heart.

I frowned, worry setting in my heart.

Gods… I just hope Hilda knows what she's doing. Chasing after that man.

She says she's trying to make him see reason but, I think she's just using that as an excuse to do more adventuring…

Haha, you go girl! I chuckled. Have enough fun for both of us!

While I… stare at eggs…. or peel my eyes at wild pokemon while making notes like some creep or something…

Hmm…

Hmmmmmm…..

Ah crap, I can't take this anymore!

Aaaaahhh!

I grabbed my head and let out a frustrated scream.

"Holy Arceus! Give me something to work with here! I wanna do something meaningful and cool too!" I scowled and kicked the edge of the boat. "Research is supposed to be interesting and exciting!" I pouted. A-Am I the issue here? Like, I see Professor Juniper in one of her research kicks. How she's so focused, so determined.

So passionate .

I want to be passionate about something too!

I cupped my hands around my mouth and yelled at the sky. Feeling miffed and wanting to vent.

"Oi Arceus! You're just a fluffy dog someone dressed up for a good picture, aren't you!" I huffed, crossing my arms and frowning at the water, "I mean, if you are really real, make something exciting happen! Right here! Right now!"

Nothing happened.

The Basculin had stopped during my outburst, staring at me with contemptuous faces for butting in on their war time, before going back to assaulting each other with water bubbling screeches.

I sighed, settling back into my boat.

Guess Arceus is just another stinking myth-

BOOM!

"A-Aaaaah!" I shrieked and fell to the floor of my boat as the air exploded.

The skies became dark.

Horribly powerful winds began to blow. Twisting and bending the surrounding trees.

And… O-Oh my god.

I blinked wide eyes, my glasses falling down my nose as I stared at it.

At the… thing which appeared in the sky above the lake I'm on.

A swirling black portal.

Its insides looking like a rampaging whirlpool.

A terrible, terrible sound boomed from within. Like a million shards of glass being broken. Like the frightening monster of your dreams deciding to scream right in your face.

"Grrrrahhhh!"

I immediately winced and shut my ears with my hands.

W-What is causing that horrible sound!

I peered closer into the portal, trying to pick out something, anything.

I… I can see something moving. Like flickering from one point to another at high speed.

Six tendrils… Pitch black and with a red horn at the end. Flashes of gold here and there as it moved in black space. Is that… is that a giant caterpillar? No wait… looks more like a snake?

"Grrrrahhhh"

The creature roared again and spun in the air, its tail lashing out and-

Wack!

I winced at the sound. Like the snap of a whip striking something.

And strike something it did.

A sharp whirring of the air as a small grey blur rocketed away from the snake like monster. Slamming into rocky debris which floated in the portal and breaking through them.

The small grey blur then yelled!

"Hey!" I blinked at the feminine voice. "What the hell's your problem, you dumb snake! I just asked you for directions!" Wow she sure sounds angry! "Dumb stupid Sage! These creatures are intelligent my foot! They don't even have manners!"

I quickly took out my binoculars and peered into the portal, towards the source of the angry voice.

Looking past the floating rocks, the upside down growing trees, and the dark clouds, I saw a… a girl? A girl who seemed to be around my age. She had pink hair, wore a dark blue shirt and pants, with a sleeveless and thick grey vest. Her clothes quite frayed and looking like they'd seen better days. Taking an even closer look I winced, seeing the red cuts on her hands, feet and face.

The girl braced herself against a floating boulder, panting heavily and glaring at the snake with a very angry face. She yelled at the snake once again.

"I'm asking you one more time! Where are the humans of this dimension!" She growled, "I just saved the world, had to deal with my bickering teammates and got punked by literally god. I have no patience for anymore shit! I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I desperately need a bath!"

The snake which had been growling hatefully at the girl suddenly blinked, a look of understanding appearing on its face. Around the time the girl started complaining about god I think. It let out a few gruff barks and pointed one of its tendrils to the girl's left.

The girl made a face, "ugh. That Cyrus guy? No thanks, I want to meet someone sane." She held her shoulders and shivered, "not someone who's living it up in the 'new' world." The girl sighed, "this place stinks."

The snake took offense to that. Rising up straight and roaring with anger.

"Grrraaah!"

It started glowing a blackish purple, its horns and the golden half rings below its face becoming sharp like claws. The shadows on the floating debris behind the girl shifting and bending. And reaching out towards the girl who seemed too exhausted and angry to notice.

The shadows burst out as giant claws and sailed towards the girl!

My eyes widened in alarm and I yelled as loudly as I could! "Hey! Behind you!" Oh please let her see the shadow claw heading towards her!

The girl snapped her head behind her. And right as the claws slashed at her, she cocked her fist and let loose a punch, her fist coated in something blue and impacting the shadows.

Blast!

The shadows exploded and dissolved into smoky wisps which soon disappeared.

"Woohoo!" I cheered happily, pumping my fist in the air. She got 'em!

I focused my gaze at the girl again to see how she's doing and… Oh… Oh she's looking right at me. U-Um, please don't glare at me like that?

I let out an uneasy smile and waved at her. "H-Hi!"

She stared at me with a frown for a few more seconds before she raised her own hand and gave me a small wave. A cautious smile making its way onto her face.

And apparently the giant snake felt left out and started waving at me too. Its tail swishing in the air.

"Grraah."

The snake ran its tendrils over its body, wincing slightly and looking at the pink girl with a glare. That last punch at its shadows might have hurt the beast with how it's scowling at the girl.

It then turned back towards me.

I started sweating, wishing not for the first time that my oars hadn't floated off while I was too busy making notes of the Basculin around me.

The snake pokemon gave me a final wave, its mouth opening and an evil look in its eyes. A blue sphere began gathering before its mouth, ribbons of energy draining into the sphere and giving it a solid shape.

"Grrah!"

It spat out the blue sphere right towards me!

"A-Aaah!" I screamed and jumped into the water! I don't care if a few fish bite my butt! I want to live another day, thank you!

And also! The dang snake wasn't saying hi! It was saying goodbye! And holy shit, now that I think about it, is that an aura sphere it just shot at me! D-Don't they have a never miss accuracy!

A-Am I gonna die today?!

N-No way!

I rapidly shook my head against the water, and focused on swimming the heck outta here! Left stroke! Right stroke! Left stroke! Right stroke! Don't think of danger! Don't think of danger…

Don't think of… how… how exciting this is!

I felt a small giggle bubble out my mouth, and instantly regretted it as I swallowed some water and began coughing.

If… If I survive today… I think I'd like this to be my research focus. Finding and hunting down strange occurrences like today. That big mean snake. The pink girl who's fighting pokemon bare-handed. And the strange way god seems to like pranking people. There's no way that portal opening up in the sky was random!

Hah!

I'm onto you, Arceus!

I heard an amused voice speak next to me.

"You look pretty happy for someone about to be blown up."

I blinked and turned my head to my side, and shrieked lightly, jerking with shock as I saw the pink haired girl suddenly beside me, giving me a small grin.

And she's jogging on water! The flat of her feet hitting the water's surface, just small ripples bouncing off the liquid as she trod on top of it! How is she doing that!

She held out her hand towards me, as I swam and she ran. She said while panting, "t-that blue ball will catch up soon. Grab on, I'll get us outta h-here." She smiled, "I'm Sakura by the way. Thanks for the heads up back there."

I eyed her hand, as my head shifted side to side while I splashed through the water.

Zwooosh!

A shiver crawled up my back as the aura sphere sailed through the air, sounding closer and closer by the second.

I immediately threw my hand up and caught the magic girl's hand. H-Hey, at least I'd have some company in my final moments?

I managed to say, "h-hi! I'm Bianca-" The magic girl, Sakura, then gave my hand a vicious tug and threw me up out of the water! "A-Aaaah!" I screamed in shock, before Sakura caught my other hand and pulled me close, locking my arms around her neck, setting me behind her on her back and giving me an impromptu piggyback ride. Realizing what she's doing I quickly locked my legs around her waist and tightened my grip around her neck.

I screamed with excitement in her ear, as she ran across the lake with me on her back, "hey why's that thing attacking us anyway! Did it wake up on the wrong side of the bed!"

Sakura snorted, "that thing looks like the wrong side of the bed-"

"Grrraaaah!"

The snake's offended roar rang out in the clearing, making me and Sakura chuckle.

Sakura yelled out for the snake, "don't worry, buddy! Cyrus has nothing but rave things to say about you! Apparently you're the abyss and he finds that very interesting! He was wondering if he could stare at you!" Sakura said in a sincere tone and nodded to herself, "with your permission of course. He doesn't want to come off as a creep."

"G-Grrah…"

The snake groaned, and I peered back and chuckled as I saw it slapping its tail against its head.

Zwoosh!

I then turned my head a little down and eeped as I saw the aura sphere still sailing towards us. Sakura's running, though much faster than my swimming, still couldn't seem to outpace the aura attack, with the sphere homing on our location despite the twists and turns Sakura made as she ran.

I tugged on her vest, "h-hey, it's still gaining on us! Can you go to the shore?" I pointed over her shoulder, directing her attention towards where my bag was tied to the tree. "If we can make it there I can get my pokemon to help us!"

Sakura muttered with confusion, "what's a pokemon?" Before she shook her head, "nah, we won't make it that far. Don't have the chakra." She grimaced, quickening her pace and her fingers rapidly making some hand-signs. "Um, listen. I'll get us outta this fix but once I'm done… if I don't make it… run."

I blinked, staring at her. "Uh what-"

She cut me off, putting the brakes on the water and turning around with a skid, making me a bit dizzy as she spun us. We now faced the aura sphere head-on.

My grip around her tightened as I stared at the blue ball rocketing towards us with panicked eyes. "H-Hey! What're you doing!" I yelled.

Sakura roared! "Water style: Water Formation Wall!" She thrust her hands out, and my skin tingled as a pulse of blue spread out from her.

Splash!

My jaw dropped as a wall of water sprang up from the lake! Rising to twice our height and forming a gushing layer of protection around us as it stood before us. Water continuously rising up and keeping the wall well supplied as the water rose and fell along its surface.

"W-What are you?" I whispered as I saw another of the magic girl's feats.

Sakura answered me while panting heavily, sweat trickling down her neck. She let out a small laugh. "W-What? Never saw a ninja before?"

I frowned with confusion, "n-ninja-?"

The aura sphere slammed into the wall of water and-

Blast!

It exploded!

Throwing me and Sakura back with the force of the explosion. Sending us flying towards the formation of rocks lining the edge of the lake shore.

And before I even worried about breaking my back against the jagged rocks, I felt myself flipped in the air and now lay in front of Sakura and in her grip.

Sakura grimaced as I looked at her with spooked eyes, "this is gonna hurt like a bitch." She muttered with sullen eyes.

I was about to yell at her to stop being crazy but-

Crash!

"G-Gaah!" Biting her lip hard, Sakura let out a muffled yell as we crashed into the rocks and slid down to the ground. The girl letting out pained groans as she took the brunt of the damage while keeping me safe in front of her.

I stared at her bruised and hurting form with worry. And asked as we reached solid ground, immediately taking my weight off her and trying to see how hurt she was. "H-Hey, are you okay?" She raised a brow at me while gasping for breath, I winced at my own stupid question.

Need to get her first-aid! Need to get her first-aid-!

"Grrrah!"

Aw come on!

I whipped my head around to see the black snake gazing at us from the portal with a focused look in its eye.

Sakura let out a hacking cough and then looked up at the beast, trickles of blood running down her mouth as she gave it a bloodthirsty grin. "H-Hey ugly! Mark my words, I'm g-gonna make you submit." The snake's eyes flashed a threatening red and it immediately began growling. But then Sakura continued, "A-After that, we're gonna make a contract." She gave it a challenging smirk, "a-a you scratch my back I'll scratch yours." She chuckled, "s-so don't cheat and kill me off, okay?"

Sakura then frowned and looked at me, "h-hey… B-Bianca? …how many such creatures exist?" She weakly pointed up at the snake, which seemed to be blinking with contemplation.

I was just utterly terrified at all the stuff happening and just answered Sakura as quickly as possible. C-Crap, I can feel that snake's gaze on me! I told her, "u-umm! I-I'm not sure but I think that's a rare pokemon!" I said as cheerily as I could to lighten the mood. And to make sure nobody's doing anymore blasting or fighting! "Maybe even a legendary pokemon! They're the rarest of them all!"

Sakura nodded to herself, "r-right. I-I'm gonna make a contract with them all!" She punched her fist in the air, "y-yeah…" She said with her eyes becoming bleary and slowly shutting close. "I-I'll show you a-annoying... U-Uchiha… j-jerk." She muttered before her head fell down and she lost consciousness.

"Grraah."

The snake pokemon let out a huff of air and then turned away, its eye trained on Sakura till it turned away completely. Its tail waved at us from the air.

…is it saying goodbye?

I hesitantly raised a hand and waved back-

I heard the shadow of a whisper behind my ear-

"Tell her not to disappoint."

"E-Eek!" I jumped in the air and scrambled a few steps forward. I whipped my head around to see nothing but thin air.

"Graahahahaha!"

The snake pokemon's sinister laughter boomed in the sky, and I stared back up. And saw it fly away into the darkness, the portal shutting close behind it and disappearing the pokemon from view.

I shook my head and focused on the girl who just saved my life twice or thrice by now. I knelt down, running my gaze over her.

Her hair frayed, blood and sweat running down her face and staining her clothes red. I gently held her and delicately moved her around, trying to see if any foreign objects had impaled her and gotten into her skin. Thankfully nothing of that sort happened, her vest apparently thick enough to prevent something like that. I had to get her help. And fast.

Seeing that there were no wild pokemon around, I quickly scrambled towards the tree to which I'd tied my bag. And immediately ripped my bag towards me as I reached it, digging my hand inside and grabbing my Xtransceiver.

And right as I dialed for an ambulance to come pick us up… I stopped.

…is she even human?

Turning to the pink girl who lay unconscious and fidgeted with an uneasy look on her face.

I frowned with worry. S-Should I take her to a hospital? I-I mean, you know the kind of stuff that happens in hospitals when they find something… odd or interesting?

They report it to the authorities. Then someone with a wicked eye smells opportunity. And then bisecting and dissecting- okay! Nope! I don't want to recall horror movies right now!

I scratched my head furiously! What to do! What to do!

Well, thinking like that, I guess that rules out even pokemon centers! I mean, Nurse Joy's kind and all, but even she has to report such things right?

Should I take Sakura to Professor Juniper-?

"G-Guuh." Sakura groaned lightly, shifting with pain on her back.

I-I don't think I have the time to wait for the Professor to show up and help out.

I ran a hand down my face with frustration. Idly shifting the contents of my bag, as if that'd help strike some bright idea in me.

Ah man, if only Sakura were a pokemon, then I'd catch her with the Heal Ball I'd bought and have her restored to full health!

Dang it! She even walks on water and can apparently command it too! But no! Arceus is too cruel and stopped halfway and gave me an injured human!

…I think.

I grabbed my Heal Ball and fiddled with it.

…no way.

I glanced between Sakura and my pokeball.

…no way that'd work right?

…Right?

I… I stood up in a trance… curiosity burning inside me as I stepped closer and closer to the girl. My pokeball clutched tightly in my hand.

I-I don't have many potions on me. Not enough to heal damage of this extent.

I-I can't take her to a hospital with a good conscience. Nor a pokemon center.

And Professor Juniper is too far away…

O-Okay. I'm gonna try this. And if it fails I'll stop being an idiot and immediately call for an ambulance. Cheran's close by in Aspertia City right? He'll help me if anything strange goes on in the hospital.

I knelt down beside Sakura, clicking my pokeball and expanding it to full size.

I muttered an apology, "s-sorry for being silly, Sakura. B-But I don't want anything bad to happen to you." I gulped and brought the ball close to her head-

"Tell her not to disappoint."

I winced as that voice whispered in my ear again. Promising peril, risk and hanging a noose around my neck.

I gazed at Sakura.

"D-Don't cheat and kill me off okay! I-I'm gonna make a contract with them all!"

Sakura's confident voice echoed in my mind. Assuring adventure, foolishness, and… incredible, incredible excitement.

A small grin made its way to my face.

Legends… Something about them… makes my heart beat faster.

I guess this is what it is.

Passion.

If I do this… I can't take it back…

I let out an uneasy chuckle, I-I'm being stupid! No way this'll work!

I tapped my Heal Ball against Sakura's head, whispering, "h-hello, danger. C-Can we be friends?" I chuckled to myself at my silliness. Nope! Nuh-uh! This ain't gonna work-!

Pop!

The ball popped open.

Glow!

Sakura glowed a bright shining white.

Zoom!

The pokeball sucked Sakura inside and snapped close.

It began wiggling on the ground.

Wiggle!

Wiggle!

Wiggle!

Click!

My face stuck in a bewildered grin I stared at the pokeball on the ground.

Ping!

My pokedex decided to ping! Indicating that I caught a pokemon! It read out in its electronic voice, "congratulations! You found an undiscovered species of pokemon!"

I picked up the pokeball and pressed the button, making the ball's top half go slightly transparent and showing me my… p-pokemon inside. I-I saw Sakura, a more comfortable expression on her face as she rested inside, sleeping on the bed that the heal ball apparently had inside it.

My hands shivering, I picked up my pokedex, and checked on my pokemon's health. And saw that the pokemon in my Heal Ball was recovering, its… her health slowly going up as the pokeball worked its magic.

Haha, well! There's only one way to respond to all this!

I stashed my Heal Ball away with a giggle, I stuffed my pokedex into my pocket, and took a deep breath!

And screamed!

"A-Aaaaaaah!"

I grabbed my head in panic!

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! I stuffed a human into a pokeball! What the heck did I just do! "

Ring! Ring! Ring!

"AAAH!"

I jumped in the air as my Xtransceiver rang and scared me! I grabbed it with a shaking hand and answered, "h-hello?"

A cheerful woman's voice echoed from the other end, "hi! Is this Bianca?"

My eyes widened. O-Oh crap! The police are already onto me! O-Or is it some criminal gang like Team Plasma! Or even worse… i-is this my conscience playing tricks on me?!

I decided to play it safe and spoke in an aloof voice.

"Who wants to know?"

The woman said with an excited voice, "oh! I'm Nate's mother speaking! Just calling to let you know that he'll be waiting near the lookout. It's a small platform north of the city which overlooks all the hills! It's easier to find than our home." The woman let out a chuckle, "and thank you once again for bringing my son his starter. We're very grateful to you and Professor Juniper. Do stop by our house if you have the time, I'll cook you up one of my specials!"

I panted heavily, breathing a sigh of relief, gargantuan relief, as it turned out to be just my appointment for the day. Handing a kid his starter pokemon.

…oh crap! I forgot all about that!

I quickly packed my stuff and hauled my bag over my shoulder, jogging away towards the city. I spoke hurriedly into the Xtransceiver, "d-don't worry, ma'am! I'll see your son off with his starter! H-He'll have the adventure of his life!"

I then wished the happy woman a goodbye and jogged towards town. My mind blazing through how to introduce myself to the kid, what inspirational words to impart, and if my clothes looked okay after the way I was roughed up today.

I whispered to myself as I ran through the thicket and towards the city, "adventure of a life huh?"

I smiled.

Sakura, I don't know who or what you are…

But I hope we can be friends!

I giggled, excitement bubbling within me!

Oh I really hope we can be friends!

Hearing her goals really gets something going inside me!

Sounds like she wants to search for legendaries!

And I want to study legendaries!

I have the resources and connections!

And she has the brawn and magic!

We'd make a great team!

And I already caught her in my pokeball-! O-Oh shit! I caught a human!

W-Well, I hope she won't take it the wrong way… It was to help her after all!

But most importantly…

Most most most importantly…

"P-Please don't sue meee!"

I wailed with tears running down my face.

Professor Juniper chided me.

"Bianca! There's a time and place for everything! But not now! So chin up and give me your game face!"

I wiped the tears off my face as my own thoughts spoke back to me.

What does it take to be a world class pokemon researcher?

Guts!

Spirit!

And the willingness to stare danger in the face and smile! Asking to be its best friend!

I clutched my Heal Ball in my hand and gazed at it with a trembling smile. Unknowing of what it may bring. The consequences. And the possibilities.

I gulped and said once again, to cement some courage into me.

"What's up, danger?" I grinned at the strange girl who slept within my pokeball. "Let's be friends!"

Feeling a bit braver, I cheered as I jogged and made my way to Aspertia City!

Elsewhere in a Team Plasma research lab

A scientist gazed at the recordings of a strange portal which had appeared in the air.

A giant tree which stood tall on the other end.

He glanced at the readings of the unknown energy pulsing off that tree. Readings which'd suddenly stopped when the portal shut close.

"Doctor Colress," said one of his assistants standing behind him. "The Sages are asking if we can make anything of the energy signature we recorded."

Colress glanced at him with a mild smile and replied, "tell them that we might have discovered a new form of power. Different from aura." Colress' eyes gleamed with eager curiosity, "my initial hypothesis being," he chuckled and gazed at the huge computer screen, seeing the results of the hundredth simulation he ran, "humans no longer have to be powerless before pokemon."

Colress smiled.

Pokemon and Humans.

There would be no more difference between them if his simulations rang true.

And maybe that…

Would truly bring out the power in everyone.

Colress chuckled and got to work on his computer.

He had a world to recreate.

To make it…

Better.
