Chapter 28: Aurum Innocentes

Adelheid's screwed in more ways than one. Saphron to the rescue!

Saphron looked down at the peacefully sleeping Adelheid, lightly shifting the younger woman's body aside from how she'd managed to entangle herself, her eyes looking at the peacefully sleeping features that were innocent, pure and without flaw at this moment in time.

'You really screwed up, Addie…'

She had to make things right, she had to make sure that she would at the least make Jaune feel okay. What Adelheid had done had been beyond the pale, but she knew her little brother better than Adelheid did. Most sisters, with the exception of Rouge, knew that Jaune could sleep through a battle of life and death if he was tired, and that his memory wasn't super with some stuff if he had been through intense exercise.

'I'm banking on him not being able to remember… If he's presented with evidence that nothing happened, it'll be a dream.'

It's how Rouge had gotten away with raping him, undoubtedly. The thought was sick, the mind conjuring up images of her older sister groaning and moaning, desiring her brother's hard cock, just like Adelheid had been, but it was not going to be more than she could handle.

'You can do this, Saphron. You ate your best friend's pussy like it was an all-you-can-eat buffet and made sure that it was clean, and she did the same thing right back with a bit of instruction… It's going to be fine, even if you just tasted your brother's cum.'

It'd been needed. It'd been needed to have sex with Adelheid to give the impression that that's all it had been. She'd worry about other things later, like morals and stuff, business that didn't involve direct action. She pulled herself out and walked to the bedroom of Adelheid with her nightgown on, hearing the soft humming from the kitchen that meant that Tyrian was present. The man must've arrived home late, and hopefully hadn't been checking up on them yet.

She pushed open the door and saw her brother passed out face-down in a pillow, his back bare and pale and bloodless in colour, dark veins visible on the flesh. She sat down next to him and lightly shook him, the colour returning like she'd just dumped a bottle of the stuff into clear water.

'Sleepy…'

"Wakey wakey, Jaune…"

She pulled him on his back, looking at his sleeping face, and she could barely resist the brief urge to tap his nose, like she'd done with Terra's baby. Her little brother was still her little brother, even if Adelheid had shown him how tight her pussy was.

"Good morning, Saph."

She glanced down, and saw him respond in the way that boys did at times. A light shake of the head, as she put on her most affable smile.

"I don't want to be greeted by your morning glory, Jaune. Keep that for your girlfriend, okay?"

She did look, just in case there'd been marks. There weren't any, Adelheid had luckily not been a biter or something like that. She didn't think she'd be able to fool Jaune by making him believe that there'd been ghost sharks or something.

"Sorry, Saph."

She shook her head a little more at the insolence, as he got up, looking around.

"Hey, where's Adelheid? I thought she was…"

'Time to lie…'

She grabbed his shoulder and planted him right back into bed, looking at him with a stern look. She'd do her best Rouge impersonation.

"Coming home drunk, Jaune… Seriously, I raised you better than that! Rouge raised you better too! We had to put you to bed, make you get to sleep, and Adelheid and I had to double-up. We…"

A bit of a blush on her cheeks, as she remembered the dream she'd had before she woke up earlier, the feeling of being warm and comfortable and loved tracing through her mind. She couldn't stop it, but she smiled.

"We had sex. We got a little drunk too."

There was no alcohol in the house, she knew, but it'd be an easy thing to fib. Jaune trusted her.

He looked a little dopey, as he checked himself over. She didn't really look down, as she saw the relief on his face, his eyes looking at her.

"I'm happy that she's safe. She was… She was in quite a state. I think her friend drugged her drink… She's- I worry for her, okay? She's a good woman, and I am so happy that she's your friend. I promised you that I'd bring her home safe, and…"

He was such a caring young man. She kissed his cheek lightly, an affectionate peck that a sister would give to her brother, aware that he was just the kindest young man that she knew. She ignored the faint feeling of unease inside her, that feeling that told her that she'd lied to him.

"She's passed out in my bed. She's safe, Jaune. Why don't you tell me what happened last night? Did you meet any nice girls at the banquet?"

She'd get his thoughts onto the party that he and Adelheid had went on, and those thoughts wouldn't lead to the night after, probably. She'd stop it right before they went home and that mess happened.

"Well, there was this woman called Cinder Fall, acting like she was eighteen, but she definitely didn't look it. She looked like you, but with a face like a pug and… well, I suppose some people might like her look, but I can't imagine that they'd want to ever sleep with her. She looks like the type who'll cut her hair short and start screaming about oppression and wanting power and stuff… Bah."

She nodded, mentally already getting an image of what the girl must've been like. A bitch.

"Not good, so… You brought her home, and thanks to you, big sis got laid! Good job!"

He smiled in that boyish way again, her poor little brother, who'd been touched by her big sister. Rouge would've asked more details, but Saphron wasn't Rouge. She wasn't as smart as Rouge was, or as apt at keeping the finances as Violet was.

"I'm glad you've had fun. I think I got kicked in the groin, it feels like someone did a real number on me… Weiss is going to have to wait a little bit longer."

'She was his girlfriend, wasn't she? I don't think I've been introduced yet.'

She laid a hand on his chest and sighed softly, as if it was something that wasn't worth the thought. Good thoughts, not thoughts of Adelheid on all fours, bucking her hips against his and begging for him to fuck her like his father fucked his sisters…

"Now, go and wash up. I'll get Adelheid out of bed, the lazy girl… Do you want something for breakfast?"

She could at the very least make sure that he had a good breakfast. It'd be a little bit of repayment for what the young man had done, but first… the naughty girl had to be woken up. That'd be a chore, undoubtedly.

'It sucks, but someone's gotta do it…'

"No, I'll… I'll have to call Mama. She wants to know why the Banquet didn't go so well, and… Adelheid is more important than being a Huntsman who's famous, Saph. She's one of the people who makes you feel happy, who's a good woman that supports both of us."

'Keep talking like that, and I'm going to just award you the 'bestest brother' ribbon, Jaune.'

The thought that entered her mind wasn't something couth or safe for anything but the darkest recesses of her mind, already hearing Adelheid's soft murmurs of how she wanted her little brother to break her big sis pussy in, reminded of last night, when Adelheid had fucked her little brother.

"If you and her got together… Say, a year or two down the line… I wouldn't mind calling her my little sis, you know?"

The seeds had to be sown, and Adelheid would be free to fuck and do whatever she wanted in a year, but her friend might just need a bit of that Arc charm to keep herself properly pleased. If she could make him like her as just a bit more than a publisher…

'You're a wicked woman, Saphron, trying to manipulate your little brother.'

If she gave in to the urges, she knew that she would be someone that would do everything with a twist. The thought of Terra moaning and screaming, helpless to resist her brother's cock, raped and made to be with a child was just delightful.

"She'd not want to be with a kid like me, Saph."

'Neither would Terra, but she wouldn't have much choice…'

Her ex-partner was not worth her thoughts, but the brief image of Terra on all fours, Jaune behind her and pushing her down and seeing her in pain brought a spark of happiness to her mind, even with the sickening feeling in her insides that came with that image, as she remembered the look of joy on Adelheid's face.

'You did a bad thing, Adelheid.'

"Hey, when you're in your twenties…"

She was still in her twenties too. She'd licked and gotten fucked by Adelheid. She'd enjoyed it, somewhat. It wasn't great though, but it was 'evidence' that she'd gotten laid. Evidence that couldn't be denied. Adelheid was a messy sleeper, and Jaune wasn't very messy, so when he was put to bed, he stayed put.

"She's pretty, yeah. Who was it that said she was the prettiest sister of them all, eh?"

Saphron gave a light chuckle, remembering that moment when they'd done an amateur beauty pageant. It'd been Rouge saying that, and she'd made the evil eye at those who wished to disagree. It'd been a unanimous decision that Rouge was indeed the fairest, but that Saphron was the prettiest. It'd been the flower crown in her hair, undoubtedly.

"Me, because you were being a little boy, Jaune. Now, get your underwear back on. I don't want to see your little wee-wee."

It most certainly hadn't been little when it'd driven into her best friend. It most certainly hadn't been small as Adelheid described it. Jaune blushed and sighed.

"Yeah, sorry. I guess I should apologize for taking up her bed. I promise I'll be good."

She knew that he would. He was her little brother, after all, someone who kept his promises.

Adelheid Blau slowly woke up to the feeling of someone pushing a finger into her sex. The foggy mind already made a connection with pleasure, and she felt the burning inside her groin lessen. Opening her eyes and coming face-to-face with Saphron, who was wearing her nightgown again and with a decidedly unhappy expression on her face, she stilled.

'Fuck, I fucked Jaune…'

She had fucked him. She'd fucked him so hard that it was… pretty damn great. He had that skill in the art of fucking to just reach her spots in the right way. Whoever was dating him was a lucky bitch, because damn

"I'm still upset, Adelheid. He's taking a shower now, unaware because he's a good man."

The finger wriggled a little, before it was pulled out. Adelheid shivered a little, as Saphron held it up. Saphron had been fucked by her. The toy that'd been shoved into her groin and tied was still somewhere in the room and they smelled of sex. Saphron had eaten her out, snacked on her pussy like a buffet.

'I'm not touching a drop of alcohol again…'

She'd fucked her client. She'd fucked her client, gotten drunk off her ass and fucked him. Saphron had told her what she'd said, and she felt bad.

"I'm s-"

The finger pressed against her lips and Saphron's eyes looked into hers with a glare.

"No, Adelheid. We're partners now. You fucked me. I put Jaune to bed naked in your bed, we had drinks and… and there was sex. I ate you out, you fucked me."

That had happened. She didn't stop feeling bad, as she came a little closer to her best friend.

"I'm sorry, Saph. I didn't…"

She had wanted it. She could remember that pleasurable feeling, him filling her. She'd wanted it so badly, so needily, she wanted to feel him cum inside her, and he had.

"How was he?"

Good. She had many dicks, but he was good. Not too big, not too long, he was… well, he was a damn slight better than most of the guys she 'met' in bars. He was her client and, generally speaking, a very good-looking and good-natured guy. The type you'd cling to and called daddy, making a little family with and have a nice house and… and children.

"Great. I'd… I'd say that, probably, but… Big. He's… He's pretty much what I like. Kind. Honourable. Strong. Well, nothing compared to his team, but he's got that presence, that thing that just makes me feel like he's a prince looking at a little princess and wanting to take her away."

Saphron's eyes were stern and she knew that she'd said too much, that Saphron wouldn't be happy with an accurate report of her brother.

"Would you do it again?"

She would.

She'd fuck him like she had made it her duty. There was good dick and then there was a good guy with a good dick. She might be a little bit addicted to sex, and she might have a drinking problem, but there was no denying of the fact that Jaune Arc was someone she'd call a little brother and mean it. He'd do right by his sisters, no matter what.

"No."

She had to be resolute though. She could deny that attraction, that pull, that god-damn nice look in his eyes that told her that he'd be making her scream if she'd just made the first move, but… It was still her job to make him into merchandise, to sell his image, if Selene Umbra didn't just… fire her.

"Don't lie to me, please. I've been lied to by people, I know when I'm being lied to, Adelheid."

She turned away. It was hard to say the truth. It was hard to admit that yes, it had felt great, that it'd probably been wonderful to even feel like that. It might have been a deprivation of sex, but it'd been nice to be with a guy, half-conscious as she was. She could feel her scalp ache a little from when he'd tugged on her hair.

"I would, okay? He's… It's not allowed. When Miss Umbra finds out, I'm-"

The Scroll started to beep, a familiar tune that was like the last few accords of an old waltz. Adelheid felt her heart sink in her chest as Saphron answered it, her face all smiles again, as she started to speak to the woman who had been mentioned earlier.

"No, I went to- Ah, you've seen it? No, I fell asleep, and afterwards, well…"

Adelheid had to admire Saphron's skills as an actress, flushing a little as if she was embarrassed. Maybe she really was, as Saphron started to talk about how she had gotten drunk with Adelheid, and how they'd landed in her bed. The disapproval in the older woman's voice was clear, as there was a moment where Saphron faltered.

"She's beside me right now, we're… well, we're not really out of bed yet."

The look Saphron gave her was one of 'tidy up' and she realized that she was still quite naked. It wasn't something that she took pride in, showing her boss the goods.

"Miss Blau… I trust that you've had a good night?"

There was an undercurrent in the woman's voice, the stark blue eyes meeting hers with that knowing look, like the woman knew everything that she'd done, from the moment where she'd been able to set foot onto Valean soil, to the evening beforehand.

"It was… eh, good?"

The frosty look that she received was definitely something that did not do much for her mood, as the woman sent something, a link appearing below the video call. She clicked on it, the video playing. Jaune up on stage, delivering a small speech. Her hopes sank.

That wasn't a good thing.

'I'm fucked… I'm soooo fucked.'

"He had to apologize for you, Miss Blau. My child, apologizing for your lapse in judgment. A man should not have to apologize for a woman's actions."

There was a livid tone to the woman's voice, as the eyes seemed to redden, their blue depths turning darker, almost purple in colour.

"He did it with grace and poise, as a prince should, and what do you have to say for yourself? 'it was good'. I do not call embarrassing a member of my family 'good', Miss Blau. You signed a contract, and I have already shortened that to a year. I am not an unkind woman, but to see you spit in my face so blatantly…"

The boss lady was mad. Livid. More than livid, as the features turned angry. Adelheid hadn't seen that anger yet, the embarrassment that she felt pushing against her own feelings of 'oh fucking shit, I fucked the boss' godson'.

"Mama, she did not sleep with Jaune. It was a little mistake, it was a party… Surely you can be a bit more clement, she's… We'll- We'll be dating."

Adelheid was not going to date her bestie. Saphron was a great woman, a great friend and much more like a sister than she'd ever hoped for, but her preference was for a hot, hard dick. Preferably attached to a cute guy.

"I… see. I will give you one more chance, Miss Blau. If Saphron requests it, I will allow you one more chance as her partner."

Adelheid swallowed heavily, as the woman's eyes fixed her with a deadly stare, the look clearly making her unnerved.

"The next time you stray, you can consider your life forfeit."

'That's a threat. That's definitely a death threat.'

It was a threat and something more layered within its depths, the rich businesswoman looking at the Scroll with an expression on her face that it had been deadly serious. Adelheid was sure that the woman could have her eliminated if she so wanted it, but those eyes held a darkness within them that brought shivers to roll down her spine.

"Mama…"

Saphron came to her rescue, the eyes softening a little again. It was remarkable how warm the woman could look, as the smile appeared on the woman's face. It gave Adelheid chills to think about, and she knew that Selene Umbra was not a woman to be trifled with how airtight that contract was.

"Your life will be very difficult, instead of an untimely demise. I shall have words with you about your plans to turn this media disaster into something positive, Miss Blau. I will be watching you…"

The woman talked with Saphron, and Adelheid felt bad. The woman could have easily fired her for this, but she hadn't. The woman seemed mollified by the words of Saphron, and Adelheid gave it a brief bit of hopeful thought, before the conclusion was reached that there would likely not have been a continuation of her contract if Saphron hadn't softened the blow.

'You messed up, Adelheid… You messed up and you can't ever tell anyone about it.'

"I'd like you to meet someone, Saphron. Willow? This is my daughter Saphron."

Adelheid found it a little odd how the woman had immediately assumed motherhood over Saphron, but if it was like with Jaune, it was likely that the mother had made herself into a godmother. This one would likely not be the one who would make someone into a pumpkin, though.

Saphron's face was warm as she smiled, the soft tones in which her best friend and sort-of-sister-from-another-mister spoke enough to comfort her. The woman on the other end seemed to be the kind type, ready to be coming to Vale.

"She will be keeping an eye on you two girls… consider her a sort of chaperone, if you wish."

'A nanny.'

That would just be perfect. Very perfect in the way of 'oh shit'. Undoubtedly it was some older woman in the late stage of her life, like Miss Umbra was. Some no-name woman, undoubtedly divorced or something, maybe with that same set of standards that the old woman had.

"We'll greet her at the airport, Mama. Adelheid needs a shower… and I guess I do too. Have a very nice evening, Mama. I love you."

It was endearing to hear, even with the older woman closing the call down and giving her a look, a narrowing of the eyes.

"We're taking that shower. Keep your legs shut, Adelheid. She would've killed you if I didn't interfere."

Saphron seemed to be so certain of that, as Saphron's hand grabbed hers and she was jerked out of the bed, a shirt thrown at her to wear as well as some underwear. Modesty had gone out of the window, as Adelheid was pulled to the shower. The sight of the hot young man in his underwear was a welcome sight, brushing his teeth slowly.

'Hello there, big boy…'

She couldn't stop herself from thinking about that young man, the one who had fucked her, who'd brought her to such a peak that she still felt fuzzy. His skin was pale, his hair was blonde like her own, and she looked into his eyes as he turned around. Like a man he stood there, a hot man who was just about-

'Good morning to you too…'

She licked her lips at the sight of his reaction to her and she shifted a little, letting her body be shown at the best angle. He grew harder, and she was about to take a few steps forward when Saphron spoke up.

"Morning, little brother. We'll be using the shower right now… Have a good breakfast, alright?"

Adelheid would have a damn good breakfast if she'd just had a good bit of time with the young man. She knew that it was wrong but it felt like there was a need within her that wouldn't be quenched so easily, something that made a shudder go through her body at the thought. Saphron's gown was hung on a hook and her underwear went to join it, and her best friend stepped under the shower.

"I'm glad you're okay. You're important to my sister, and…"

He paused for an instant, looking at her with those baby blues that sent a shiver sliding down her spine, her eyes looking down.

"And to me. Without you, I'd just be an average huntsman in training, and well… You're a good-looking woman too."

It was unfair. It was unfair, and she could see that he wanted more. Already, he was growing bigger, harder. She wanted to get to her knees and make him moan for Oneesama to give him relief, run her fingers over that hard stick and make her man feel a shivering desire within.

"Thank you, Jaune. I'm still your publisher. We shouldn't do things…"

It gave a little throb as he got a little closer. She could smell the scent of shampoo, but she was a little lost. She wanted it. She needed it. She wanted to feel him inside her so much that she quivered a little at the thought of him taking her.

"I know, but I'd save you again. If Saphron is to become a princess, I'll become a prince and a prince always saves his subjects."

'Gods-damn it to hell…'

He looked so resolute like that. Manly was a word for it, but that look in his eyes just told her that he was sincere and willing to do just that. She didn't remember much from last night, remembering the drinks that she'd had, Artemis…

'Oh… So she… She…'

She felt sad. The better publisher had indeed won, and it hadn't been her. She'd been bamboozled, fed drunk and she'd lost one of the bigger opportunities to get the client's name out, all because she couldn't think 'Water might be fine'.

"Adelheid…"

Saphron's voice was strict, as she lifted her shirt and then hopped under the shower without a complaint. Saphron's head peered out from the curtain and her friend took a long look at Jaune.

"Go and have something to eat, and for the love of the Gods, she's your publisher, and my girlfriend now. I know she's hot, but you can be modest and put that thing back proper before you poke someone's eye out with it."

Adelheid didn't really want to feel like a girlfriend, but it would solve her issues for the time being, Saphron's head dipping back under the shower, hearing Jaune mumble something about Adelheid being pretty, a good feeling settling inside her, as she helped her best friend get cleaner.

As they were left alone in the shower, Saphron spoke up, looking deep into her eyes.

"We're getting you therapy, Adelheid. You fucked my brother, and you're lucky that he's got shoddy memory in the morning. Rouge will make a spot for you in her schedule, even if I have to personally twist her arm. She owes me for that, and she'll need to talk with you about your addictions."

Adelheid supposed that it would be time for that, indeed. She shivered a little at the thought of being with the eldest Arc sister, the one that knew how their brother's cock felt inside of them.

'I fucked your little brother. Gods, she'd just leap at me and strangle me if I got the right vibe from her…'

"And… He's a good boy."

She could agree with that at least, remembering how that bit of male flesh had made his underwear look rather tiny and tight. She bit her lower lip, leaning against her sister, Saphron pressed against the wall.

"He'll make you feel really good."

She couldn't deny that. It hadn't been bad sex, it'd been good sex, even with her asking for more roughness. She felt good, happy and safe. She'd liked it, if her memory was good enough.

"I want you to try, Addie. He needs a woman who's able to do the hard stuff with marketing. This is water under the bridge, until you lose control and do something worse. Mama never forgets, and she doesn't forgive. She has asked whether I'd like my ex-wife dead, and she can do that, Adel."

It was a scary thought, but she knew that she'd be safe. She had Saphron, she had Jaune…

'Let's hope that'll be enough…'

"I like you, Saph. You're my best friend, I…"

'I don't deserve a kind, warm woman like you as a friend. You should've dropped me the moment I was making jokes about your brother…'

Saphron's head raised softly and the older woman smiled. A smile like that of an older sister giving her younger sister something to comfort herself with. She felt warm inside just seeing that smile, those blue eyes meeting hers.

"Sisters take care of each other, little sis. Don't forget that we're sisters since our first meeting."

She grimaced, knowing that she'd been excited by the woman's younger brother. It wasn't something that you admitted openly to your sister, to your friend, that you'd like a repeat of that night. She'd probably embarrassed herself a lot just by what she'd said, but she liked sex.

"Saph, I'm- I don't deserve a kind woman like you."

Saphron's expression was difficult to trace, as the woman sighed softly.

"My father raped my sister, Addie. My wife was trying to knock me up with her ex's baby for her own cruel enjoyment. I'm well aware of what I can do and what I can't do, and if I want you around as some sort of little sister who's totally into my brother, well… Nobody can complain. My friend, my family. You can marry my brother and it'd be official."

That was true. Would she marry her own client? Would she gamble on that, and maybe miss out on love later? She was only 23, that meant that her whole world was still opened up for her.

'Unless of course some killer kills me for being too close to my client.'

She watched Saphron pull out a fluffy towel, rubbing herself dry with it, handed another, and doing the same. She felt a little easier now with the knowledge that she wasn't going to be fired immediately, that there was a saving grace.

"And… and I really shouldn't be saying this, but I'm not a good sister. I've got sick thoughts, Adel. You'd find me… disgusting."

'Like that fantasy when your brother was raping the fuck out of your bitch of an ex? Yeah, I can imagine that you'd be having those kinds of thoughts, Saph…'

She wouldn't mind a few minutes with the woman herself and a handy baseball bat, because you didn't hurt a nice gal like Saphron like that without getting the Blau Beat-down.

"No matter what it is, you're still my girlfriend, Saph."

'Yeah… I'm not gay, but if it keeps me intact…'

Saphron's expression wasn't very happy, sighing softly at the words. She'd have no doubt that Saphron might just be burdened by something of her own dark mind.

"Treat him kindly, okay? I don't want to lose my little brother."

Adelheid would try to make sure of that, because Jaune Arc was her client. Adelheid Blau was a lot of things, and she wasn't someone who often thought about the consequences of her actions, but you could trust her to do what she thought was best.

"Kid gloves, and soft cushions, Saph."

Saphron smiled softly at her, patting her hair with a plush towel, trying to get the water out of the mass of hair.

"Hush, you're still going to be talking to my older sister about that sex addiction of yours, Adel. It isn't good, and Mama said a few things about your… partying. Sex with random guys isn't good, Addie. Mister Callows would be horrified if you tried that with him."

Adelheid winced. Totally not her type, and he wasn't blonde. He didn't share the look of features that she liked. The man was also gay, which further lowered his chances of getting some Blau. She might've offered if he'd looked a little like he'd be nice, but the man was formal and a little crazy, so nope… Not in her strike zone.

"Saph…"

Saphron poked her in the chest, looking strictly at her.

"You've been Arced, Adelheid. You lucky bitch, you're our little sister now. Yep, no takebacks, no refunds and no refusal."

She smiled a little at her friend, shaking her head. It'd be nice, even if she'd messed up. She'd just have to find a way to spin things in a positive trend. An apology might be best, she surmised, given that her client had to carry her home and make sure that she was alright.

'If I play it up as an overindulgence, with misinformation, we can play this as him doing his Huntsman-ly duties and it'll be a sign of his good character. People love the prince on the white horse thing. I know I do, with that big dick between your legs, you sexy bastard... Okay, bad thoughts... Chaste thoughts, totally chaste thoughts, I am not thinking about him, nope.'

Looking at Adelheid was difficult. He remembered faintly the feeling of a set of warm hot lips on his cock, of an evening spent worrying about her. He might've had sex with her, but he wasn't sure. Saphron said that there hadn't been any sex, and he was aware that Saphron never lied to him. The poor woman, getting drunk and then being with Saphron.

'I'm going to keep you safe, Adelheid.'

She'd been a handful when she was drunk. It wasn't something that could easily be shoved to the side. He should talk with her about that, because it'd been… a little worrisome.

"Adelheid?"

She startled, dropping the butter knife that she was using to spread jam over the slice of bread she was currently handling, her cheeks flushing a little, as his sister nudged her girlfriend… or well, they were still friends. They'd slept together, which was none of his business.

"Y-yes?"

Jaune smiled at her, and her eyes went down meekly, as if she'd done something wrong.

"I don't blame you. You weren't in full control of your senses. It was… I'm glad we didn't do anything. Mama would understand if we had, she's awfully sweet sometimes."

She was. Mama was a sweet woman at her core, knowing that he would do his best for her. The gift inside him felt like it was burning, yet contained. The flame inside him blazed brightly, and he felt like he could actually take more than a few hits, as Adelheid looked down again.

He'd almost imagined having sex with her. Having sex with her, loving it, her energy and her passion just blazing. He felt like he'd been put through the wringer, but the drink had been alcoholic, so it'd be something understandable. He'd drank less than Adelheid had, but it had been something that'd been strong stuff.

'I'd rather not get drunk.'

"I'm sorry, I- I should've stuck to water, but they'd said that they had non-alcoholic drinks… There must've- there must've been a mistake, I might not have been clear, Artemis- Artemis might've used that, and-"

The woman would get her due process. He saw how it impacted Adelheid, how those eyes darkened and she looked lost, fragile and without that hope in her eyes. He wouldn't let her suffer like that. Artemis Manilla had crossed the line.

"I don't like her. She ruined your debut."

It was his debut, more than that, but it was also Adelheid's first big gig. Adelheid shivered a little as she nodded, her eyes pleading with him.

"She… Miss Umbra, that is, called. She wasn't happy. She was not happy at all. I should've… I remember a few things, but… but it's hard to think when you just want something, when you need someone to be with."

It was an addiction, a rush that she tried to get. He felt bad for her, and Saphron made an understanding sound.

"She'll be talking with Rouge. I'll make sure that she doesn't go off the rails again, Jaune."

It was not something that she could help, he guessed. Saphron looked sure of herself, as if there was nothing to worry about. Adelheid looked conflicted, and he smiled.

"Thanks for putting me to bed. It was late last night, and I'm happy that you managed to strip me without too much trouble."

He was still wearing the fancy clothes, which might need a bit of a wash, but that was beside the point. They'd done a good thing, and whatever happened between them was their business. Adelheid flushed, as his sister patted her friend's shoulder.

"She's going to be a good girl."

Adelheid nodded, Saphron's smile turning a little more wicked.

"You can call him daddy if you'd like, Addie. Addie's daddy."

Adelheid gave a look that held the power of frustration, of annoyance, as she saw the look on Saphron's face, the teasing one that let him know that she was hardly serious. Imagining himself as Adelheid's father was just something that would probably give him gray hair before he was twenty.

"Go to bed early, young lady! No dessert!"

Adelheid snorted, as he did his best to sound a little authoritative. She smiled lazily at him, his eyes glimmering with that faint hope, the brief tongue that licked over her lips.

"Going to tuck me into bed, daddy? A good night kiss? Maybe a night-time story?"

Saphron's warning look meant enough, as Adelheid quieted immediately. Something about taking the joke too far, undoubtedly, but he was committed to it.

"If you're good, you can sleep with mommy Saphron and daddy Jaune."

Saphron started to laugh, remembering where she'd heard it before. Rouge had been the replacement mom for years, so it'd been a conversation between Saphron and Rouge that he'd overheard, Saphron still living at home.

"Damn it Saph, you're teasing me."

Saphron was teasing Adelheid, he knew, as his sister stopped laughing after a bit, shaking her head.

"Hey, you're the one who said that Jaune was like the responsible one."

Adelheid flushed red, as she sighed, putting her head in her hands.

"I did, but that doesn't… Agh, stop it."

Saphron shook her head and nudged Adelheid again, her best friend giving a low groan.

"Now I'm going to have dreams about him tucking me into bed later. Thanks a lot, Jaune."

He laughed at the pouty tone that she took. It was one of her benefits, knowing that there'd be something more to do. He heard his Scroll beep, a familiar tone that he heard, holding up a hand.

"One moment, business call. "

He walked to the bathroom before it took it at the seventh ring, as had been declared.

"Things are ready, Mister Prince. We just need the goods to arrive and we can get things done."

A criminal that was attached to one of the major Mistralian crime families. Hei 'Junior' Xiong, owner of a club, publically. A man who deserved little respect in any way, as he deepened his voice a little, to be Mister Prince.

Audio-only calls were handy for that.

"I'll make sure that she arrives. The blonde girl will have a day she'll never forget."

Vengeance was sweet, especially when it was served cold. It would be the moment where Yang would see that her actions had consequences, as he hung up, the criminal knowing what to do. Tomorrow, it'd all go down.

'I regret having to do this…'

He called the next number, waiting for Weiss to answer, as he sat down on the toilet, just waiting.

"Jaune? I… I heard. Last night didn't go so well…"

He knew that she would do just as he'd asked. The package had been delivered, and he knew that there would be a bad day planned ahead for Yang tomorrow.

"We're home safe. Someone drugged my publisher's drink, and I'm not happy… Could you do me a favour?"

Weiss would do what she'd be instructed. He could see her expression brighten in that way that made his heart beat a little faster. A good friend, a… a friend.

"Sure! A-anything. Y-you didn't… d-do things with her, did you? I-it's okay, b-but-"

She was stuttering a little, shy look on her face, and he shook his head.

"Saphron and her eh… they did things together… Ah, you haven't met Saphron yet. She's one of my oldest sisters, but… yeah, I need another favour. Are you planning anything tomorrow? Because I want you to…"

Explaining things to her was sensible. Her eyes darkened, as she realized what she had to do, before she nodded.

"I'll… Sure, let's take Ruby out for some shopping. It'll be nice to have a girl's day out, with Yang… well, who knows what'll happen to her. Her partner's off being a creepy girl. She is… she's giving me looks that I don't like."

He'd have to see about the Belladonna girl. That wasn't going to be a good thing, but his mood right now was better, now that he knew the things he had to do.

"Thanks again, Weiss. You don't know how much that helps me. I promise…"

'Sometimes… Sometimes, I don't feel so very nice.'

He felt like he wanted to tear Yang apart for the crimes that she had committed against his person, her face, twisted in anger, so easily riled up by the simple friendship that he had struck up with Weiss, their intimacy only adding to that feeling. The flame within him burned brighter, the ocean having receded greatly, and he could feel how the dark power inside him swelled brighter and broader.

'There is power in anger, there is a deepness of that well of fiery rage…'

"I'll be back at Beacon in the early afternoon, Weiss. Let's have some time together, study a little. See you later."

There were still reports to do, but he had to do the business end first. He called the number, remembering it from the earlier meeting, aware that this was a risky game.

"Good mornin'! So, what's your plan? Did things change? I'm a little busy, but I paid the rent!"

He smiled to himself, as he started to talk to the one who'd take care of things. One didn't want to have interruptions, when Yang was learning her lesson about consequences.

"No, no, I'm just saying that there'll be an extra thousand in it for you if you'd like to do me a little favour…"

He joined his sister at the breakfast table, Tyrian humming something as he had taken to the kitchen, frying some bacon in a pan, the man's mood awfully chipper, which made Jaune a little worried. That wasn't a good thing, Tyrian had tried to kill him before, but he'd beaten the man down.

'You're planning something.'

The power within him swelled, the burning brush of flame welling up, as fire shot up from the furnace, the man's hand retracted in an instant.

"Good morning, Tyrian. Keeping busy with serving Mama, are we?"

The man's hand was clutched, not terribly burned, but definitely given a little warning. The man's eyes were manic, looking at him with a leer that would be intimidating, if he didn't know that the man would need reinforcement.

"Of course, Master Jaune. Lady Adelheid was just talking about her plans with Young Mistress Saphron. They are in a relationship together, what joy, what joy!"

Jaune felt a shiver slide down his spine as the man looked at Saphron and Adelheid, who looked like they'd rather not be faced with the man, Adelheid looking especially sickened.

"Tyrian, behave. You're acting creepy again, I don't want my sister to be scared."

The man bowed, half-mockingly. Jaune's eyes narrowed, but he let it slide. The flame within him was slowly encroached upon once again, the wide patch of freed surface around it broadened somehow by the events of last night.

"As you wish, Master Jaune. This one will obey the Goddess as well as you."

Jaune sat down again, eating something as Adelheid looked at him with worried eyes.

"Jaune, I'd…"

She paused, as if she wasn't sure what to say. The painful expression on her face wasn't going away, as she looked at her half-eaten bread, the jam still on it.

"I'll do whatever I can to make you be the star you can be."

He smiled at her, the best smile that he could. He had the faint image of her on all fours before him, his hand tangled in her hair flicker before his mind, as he looked into her eyes.

"If I'm a star in the sky, you'll be flickering right next to me. You're my publisher."

He winked at her and she looked down at her food again, her cheeks flushing again, mumbling something about being a horrible woman at times. Saphron gave him a look and wrapped her arm around Adelheid's shoulder.

"Mine, Jaune. You're not stealing my girlfriend from under my nose!"

She was half-joking, he could see that, the look in her eyes playful as she seized a hold of Adelheid's left breast and gave it a slow squeezing jiggle, Adelheid looking scandalized. He didn't think that Adelheid would be much for a lesbian relationship, but he might be wrong.

"H-hey! Saph!"

He smiled, taking a sip from his juice. He could understand Adelheid's embarrassment.

"Didn't Rouge tell you to share me with her once?"

It'd been a good day out, Rouge leaving him with Saphron whilst she did some of her pre-med work, already busy. It'd been a playful tug-of-war between the two of them, Rouge letting him sleep with her in her sleeping bag. It'd been warm, cozy and safe, as she'd kept mumbling something about him being a good boy.

"I'm a selfish girl, Jaune. I've got a new lady in my life, so… nope. No sharing. Addie's mine."

She stated with a typical pout, her eyes glinting with amused interest, as Adelheid tried to tug herself free, Saphron's arm wrapping a little tighter, pulling her closer.

"Y-yes… I'm hers. We- We like each other."

Adelheid sounded a little hesitant, but Jaune couldn't see any serious dislike in the woman, couldn't feel that the woman was forced to say it. It was more a sense of shame that seemed to ring through that statement, as the woman looked at him.

"Good. I'm… Tyrian, do you think you can drive me to the airship docks? I'd like to be back at Beacon, I'm meeting Weiss for some homework."

He would have to prepare for tomorrow. It was for the best that he had his homework done and finished before he went and witnessed the entertainment.

Violet's fingers tapped against the counter, aware that it was taking a little longer than she'd intended. The cups of coffee were finished, but the guy behind the counter was adding a little pizzazz to it, probably to impress her. She knew that there were many who would want to get her number, but the focus was on things, as the old woman sat in a corner, having been escorted there.

She knew that the mask of Cyanide should be donned now, but she felt like being Violet for just a moment, as she received the cups of coffee, noticing the number scrawled on the napkin. She'd take the napkin, since grandmother did not have to be worrying about being asked out. The tasks were the same, after all.

"Grandmother, your cup of coffee."

She set the cup in front of her grandmother, the woman's eyes coolly staring at her, before she sat, facing away from the crowd.

"Good. Your little date is tomorrow."

She remembered the last 'date' that she had gone on. A medical doctor. It was an infiltration in two parts, clearing the hard drive of data done by someone else, a doctor of sorts. The woman's apartment had been messy, but she had been calm and decisive. The sleeping woman posed little danger, the needle emptied into the earlier puncture-mark and the hand seized, in order to leave the woman's fingerprints over the syringe.

'I felt nothing. It was just a job.'

She would do whatever she could. The thousand Lien that she had gotten for the job had been added to the accounts, to be used for the family. One life was there, as her grandmother's light tapping against her cup with her metal hand was loud. Attention had to be given.

"Here is your partner. Make sure to let them dance well, my dear. You're ready. Do not fail to please them."

She saw the picture, held it up. There would be a hidden challenge somewhere. Grandmother did not do these exercises in order to test her, but also to challenge her.

"There will be another date taking place at the same time. My friend, a crazy old bastard, has decided to send his child as well. I will be giving you your present when we're at the house."

Her weapons. The weapons that she'd been training with were simple replica's, something to get used to the weight, whilst grandmother customized them for her use. A set of training knives, easily concealable on her person, made from ceramics so they wouldn't easily be found.

'So, the mad scorpion has his protégé to challenge me…'

She would deal with the protégé, whilst eliminating the target. The smile on her face was as warm as her heart was cold, bright and cheerful. It was another job, it was another acting moment where she'd have to push Violet Arc aside and become Cyanide, the woman who could do everything. Her blood was already used to the injections, less blood in her vomit every night. The regimen of food that she had to eat had increased, something to enhance her natural metabolism, according to grandmother's words.

"Thank you, grandmother."

She looked at the woman, before she remembered something, her finger snatching the cup of coffee and raising it to her lips, drinking some of the hot brew. It was bitter and it reminded her of why she was doing this. She took no joy in killing, but there was that moment of clarity that she felt whenever she looked at her grandmother, aware that the woman might be lying to her.

As long as the woman served her needs and her family prospered, she would bear the burden. Beryl had been working more as well, coming home late. Mother was never home now until late as well. She knew that Rouge had been trying to keep the twins in check, something about their habits, but it wasn't enough.

"You've earned it, Cyanide. The Lady wishes to speak with you after you get your partner dropped off safely. Heads, not tails. I will not be upstaged by a Faunus. Get rid of them, if they bother you."

'Beheading, it shall be.'

That would exclude several poisons from her lineup, and that would mean that she'd have to make sure that the poisons she used would kill the target as quickly as possible, whilst planning for another. It was lucky that Grandmother had a video of the Scorpion's movements, so she could anticipate the Faunus assassin's apprentice's skills.

"Have you given thought about your brother?"

It was not an unusual question. Grandmother often asked about the members of her family. She knew Saphron, so she must be familiar with how the family was. Cyanide thought about her blood-related brother, thinking on how he'd grown up. Rouge had been… bad.

She hadn't told grandmother about that, but Rouge had been adamant that she hadn't messed up again. Violet trusted her on that, but Cyanide was entirely different.

'Seventeen, taller than me, a good and kind-hearted young man, one who has managed to charm his way into the heart of a girl that still hasn't been seen. A warm and friendly young man but prone to mood swings at times.'

"He is the same. What do you want to know?"

Grandmother's mean smile came to her lips again. It looked like a kind woman's smile, but Violet had seen how the old woman had smiled when the children's bodies were dumped in the dumpster. The twist. The lifeless look in their eyes. Violet had been a little sick, but Cyanide knew that there was only the grand stage of life and death.

"Would you kill him if ordered to?"

Cyanide took a deep breath, before she answered.

"Yes."

Violet closed her eyes, as the true answer rang out within the confines of that happy little space where she dwelled when Cyanide was ready to play.

"No. He's my little brother."

She loved her family, and hurting her family wasn't going to happen! She was still Cyanide Arc, and she loved her brother and sisters, even if Rouge was not a good sister.

"Good, little Cyanide. The Lady will be pleased to see your progress."

Grandmother lied again. It was something that Cyanide noticed, watching how the woman's face creased in the same way. It wasn't a good answer that she'd be willing to kill her brother, but grandmother had said that no target was off the table. Obedience was to be rewarded.

"As you wish, grandmother."

She would do as was ordered, and there would be no damages done to her family. Scorpion's apprentice or not, she was going to kill them and then return with the head, so she could see her grandmother's happy face. The mission was given, the life to be taken ordered, and she would do as was ordered, the time and day written on the back of the picture.

'Now, I only need my weapons…'

She was going to perform, return home and then take a long hot shower. Her work outfit would need to be changed, but that wasn't something that she worried about. A set of clothing that would allow her maximum movement, whilst also hiding the weapons on her body.

The knives glinted. The kukri was definitely something of a masterpiece, crafted carefully, whilst the smaller one was for piercing through the armour that was in the way, the tip crafted with a small injection-vial that came loaded through a special injector in the handle, ready for the venom to be loaded into it.

"Viper's Kiss and Spiderbite…"

She handled them deftly, as she'd been taught. They were lighter than the practice materials, forged by someone who knew what they were doing, with grandmother customizing it further to the specifications. One never bought wholesale into the fabrication of your tools in one go. She checked her nails, ready to be sharpened into tips that could gouge our flesh, dipped in venoms and poisons that could paralyze and debilitate, for the ease of killing.

'I'm ready… Cyanide kills tomorrow…'

She was going to eliminate the target. The Scorpion better beware, lest he make her life harder… She wouldn't be someone who got stabbed in the back, because she was Violet Arc, and an Arc never broke their promise. The contract would be fulfilled, without the slightest hint of hesitation from her.

She sheathed the blade in her leather jacket, which had been adjusted for the position of her weapons, since it was more of a sword than a dagger, the dagger pushed into the small sheath in her pocket. She'd be able to draw in a moment's notice, testing the motions, to her grandmother's approval.

"Good. You will not have to worry about it, after this you will earn the right to use a ranged weapon. Ensure that they are dead, my little Cyanide."

She would not fail. She had to protect her family.

The cackling of the man was a warning, as she waited for him in the abandoned warehouse that he'd given her the location of only an hour before. When she was summoned, she would come. There was no hemming or hawing, she would obey. The maniac had even managed to get a picture of Saphron sleeping with a little 'wouldn't want something to happen to your big sister, wouldn't we?' titled there, and it was creepy how the man went.

"Ahh, little Beryl, the bloody Beryl…"

She grunted at the man as he appeared from the shadows, his hands holding a large package, a box of sorts that seemed to be filled with something of metal. She was aware that the man wasn't attacking her yet, but she kept light on her feet anyways. With Tyrian, you never knew. She knew that the man would kill you without a second thought, so she was alert.

"A gift, a gift! Tomorrow is your time to shine! Be sure to wear your helmet, you'll be fighting in a little battle! A target, yes, yes… A naughty little target, ready for you to cut and to bleed. Oh yes, you will need weapons… You killed well, my little Beryl! My little bloodied Beryl, I've got a gift!"

The package was thrown at her and she used her jacket to catch it, aware of what might be in it. The man was insane enough to throw a grenade at her and laugh when it detonated, like it had before. When nothing happened and her jacket hadn't been blown apart, she pulled the package out, opening the box up to unveil what seemed to be a set of gloves. Dangerous-looking talons were attached to it, with something in the gloves woven, a small symbol of a scorpion visible.

"Wear them, wear them! They'll be here soon, little Beryl! Wouldn't want you to be unarmed, would we? If you survive, you'll be ready for tomorrow, yes! Now… There is a small switch at your palm, yes… It makes them pop out, for when you want to hurt, yes! Tear and flick, bleed them!"

The door was kicked in and angry people appeared, Beryl pulling the gloves on, the switch nestling comfortably against the palm of her hand, her eyes looking at the faces. Guys who didn't look happy, who didn't look like they belonged anywhere but a grave… Another moment for her to work, to fight, to kill…

She met them with a charge, her body moving with the grace of an agile dancer, her body switching immediately to the fighting stance. A flick of the switch and the gauntlets slid out, the claws raking across the face of one of the men. Blood flew, dripping from the claws.

'Yes!'

She was aware of the blood. She was aware of how it pulsed and throbbed in their veins, her vision narrowing. There must be more, there must be that rush, as she ducked under a machete, the body of the man she'd gashed starting to lose that red crimson shine.

She smelled the coppery fluid as she danced, weaving through the attacks like a fine dancer, Violet's own motions mimicked, as her body moved. They bled, they all bled, and it was glorious. The sick fuck who'd trained her and taunted her was silent, as she moved, mowing them down. Her punches were heavy, the claws retracting to strike, before they'd flick out, the mechanism perfect. The heavy smell of blood around her, as the red within their veins pulsed, a warning call for her.

'Yes… Yes, YES!'

She lived for this moment. Adrenaline was pumping in her veins, the blood working its way through her own veins as she exsanguinated others. The claws allowed her to rake through their flesh, to let the blood flow. Her Aura buffered her from the hits, as the blood flowed. It was over too soon, she realized. They'd all stopped moving, and she'd been half-way done with her warm-up routine too. She could see one of them still alive and aware, and she tugged a little, the man going lip as the blood gushed.

"Good, good! You're ready, my little bloody Beryl! I should have gotten you more gifts, my little spawn! Ooh, she'll not expect this! No, no, no! She'll never expect this, nope! You'll be feeling the Blackout's apprentice's sting, my darling, and your sister will live! Yep! No more pain for Saphron dear, yep! I'll even stop taking her pictures… So… Hunt tomorrow, my dear! Kill the other apprentice! Show me WHO is the best!"

She looked at the man and grimaced, before she straightened out and then pulled her top off, giving it a swift flick, cleaning the blood off the fabric before donning it once more. The specially-treated fabric looked like it would work well in the thick of battle, especially if there was something to be killed. She'd bleed them all dry, if she had to do so.

Saphron wouldn't be hurt by this maniac. Nobody in her family would be hurt by this asshole who thought that he had the sole right to being a monster.

She was an Arc and she'd do what she had to in order to protect her family.

Jaune's eyes fell onto the paper, Weiss quietly sitting at his side, ready to make sure that there would be no mistakes made in the work that would be handed in to Professor Oobleck. He was sure that it would be well-received, the essay on the neo-Menagerian Rights post-Revolution making him feel a surge of certainty that he had been missing. He felt Weiss at his side shift a little.

"Are you certain… I mean- Is it still legal?"

Weiss had folded, as he knew that she would. It would be a lesson for Yang that she would never forget, and it would all be done perfectly.

"I'd say so. Don't you trust me?"

He knew that Weiss wouldn't approve of the plan, but she was a part for the first bit, getting things into place.

"I- I do, but…"

He patted her thigh, knowing that she wasn't as secure as she'd like to think. It would be something that would show Yang how powerless she really was.

Nobody messed with royalty. Not even Yang Xiao Long.

Sometimes, Weiss would need to be kept ignorant of the truth, to spare her feelings. She was a good friend, someone who did not need to think too much about the maybes and could-be's. The message had been delivered and the goods were prepared. It was time for payback.

"Yang will know that she's going in a bad direction. She might seriously hurt me again, Weiss."

Sometimes, you had to sacrifice things.

He waited outside, knocking on the door once. Only Yang was left within the dormitory of team RWBY, the look in her eyes changing, once it was clear to her who it was at the door, a disgusted look on her face at the thought of him coming to the door.

"Your girlfriend isn't here, you dick. She took Ruby shopping earlier."

He glanced at her, a smile on his lips. Thirty seconds, up to a minute. It was twenty seconds that he would need to fill.

"Ah, that's regrettable. Home alone?"

His best smile, and the girl just gave him a scoff, as he knew that Weiss had been careful in her suggestion to Ruby to head out. The game was beginning… and he wondered what face Yang would make.

"Well, yeah, but don't think I don't know what you do to Weiss every time the two of you are allowed to be close together, buster! I'll hit you again, if that's what you're-"

The Scroll rang, and Yang growled something, as she moved to close the door, but he stepped in, the second ring of the Scroll.

"Damn, you just…ugh."

She grabbed the Scroll and answered it with a growl.

"Who is it and what do you- Hey!"

The face of the criminal appeared on the video feed from the Scroll, and Yang's eyes blazed. He could see the anger in her eyes as the criminal addressed Yang.

"Hey there Blondie… I figured I'd give a call, see how you were doing."

There was the script that had been written out, the man sticking to it.

"What the fuck are you doing, calling me? Did you want me to go and come back for round two?"

A little moment, as the man gave a soft and dismissive grunt, motioning to someone out of sight.

"I wasn't happy with you busting my whole club up, Blondie. Ruined business, street cred… That whole thing, so you can consider this payback, girl…"

Yang seemed to be about to say something, but something, or rather, someone, shouted.

"Yang?! Yang! Help!"

'Oh, and the fear… The delicious fear on your face as you realize that they have your little sister.'

The fear on the older sister's face was something that he relished, as she looked confused, before the accent registered, the wrath coming to the forefront once more.

"You fuck! That's my sister, don't you- What the fuck do you want?"

The man's smug little smile was something that annoyed him personally, as the man directed the camera to a bound and captured Ruby, currently looking to be in her underclothes.

"Well, y'see… I've got to make back my losses somehow, so your little sis will be starring in a bit of an underground gig… Don't worry, she'll be given back to you slightly used. This ought to square our debts, girl… Call anyone and we're making a direct live-stream to Dusthub. The whole world will get to see your sister get her holes stretched."

The tears were a nice touch, as Yang said something uncharitable, to which the man only laughed.

"Gotta find us first before you can make me eat with my ass, Blondie… If you aren't fast, little Red will get her cherry popped, and more…"

There was another heart-rending plea from Ruby, and Yang's eyes were wide as they looked at the display on the Scroll, which said 'connection lost'.

"This… this must be a fake, it must be a fake, it must be fake, he'd… not Ruby, no, no, not Ruby, please mommy, not Ruby. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have searched for Raven, I should never have… No, no, no, no… No, No! Ruby…"

The blonde seemed to be in tears, the tears rolling down her cheeks, a sobbing sound coming from her lips, as she looked at her Scroll.

"Maybe call Weiss? If Weiss is with Ruby, perhaps… perhaps it's all a ruse?"

Yang's trembling fingers dialled the number, and there was a clicking sound as it connected, an annoyed-looking Weiss giving the screen a fierce look.

"What is it, Virgin? First, your little sister ran off to some sort of Dust ammunition bargain, and now I've been searching for that dolt for over half an hour…"

Yang blubbered something, before the conversation was shut off by a frustrated Weiss, who mumbled something about the maturity of children in blondes.

'The key to you is your sister, Yang…'

Once the foundation crumbled, once the blood had been shed and the grave dug… All they had to do is lie in it.

"I'll help you find your sister."

She looked at him, before she glanced down at the Scroll. There was a tremor that went through her, before she nodded quietly. His team had been told to stay out of sight…

"I'll… My sister is more important than… She's your friend and-. Gods, Dad is going to kill me… Uncle Qrow will kill me, I'm… Not Ruby, mommy, I'm so sorry, I didn't…"

The blonde was in a vulnerable state as they made their way down to the airdocks, ready to depart for Vale, where Ruby was.

'When you lay your hands on someone who is better than you, you better beware their revenge, Yang… Everything you do has consequences…'

The evil plot to destroy Yang Xiao Long. Salem found it terribly amusing to hear of his plot to show Yang that it would lead to consequences down the long run. How's this for an evil plot? It's not like Salem's malignancy, but heavier because you know the characters…

Knowledge Wars Special Report

Greg Stones sits in front of the banner with Knowledge Wars, looking grave and serious. "Is this thing on? Ah, okay. THIS IS GREG STONES, WITH KNOWLEDGE W-"

The man started off great before a coughing fit got him. His head shook a few times to clear the cough.

"I don't know how she does it… Must have some sort of trick to it… Anyways, since my dear sister is in Vale Jail awaiting bail, this is a special report from Gregorian Stones, for Knowledge Wars. Your pledges of support for my sister are well-received, people!"

The man puffed up a little, trying to flex muscles, glancing at someone off-camera for a moment.

"Super Female Vitality, to bring out the raw primal Faunus inside y- is that in a male form? Ah, cool. SUPER MALE VITALITY! GUARANTEED TO BRING THE RAW HARD HORNY FAUNUS OUT IN YOU! YEAHH! "

The man did a more than passable imitation of his sister and there was a pause as someone started to laugh behind the camera.

"Oh? How do you mean, it's not a sex aid? What has she been- Oh? Vitamin supplements? Shit."

There was a sign held up with 'Super Female Vitality, 45% off!' by a woman's hands, as Greg Stones fixed the camera with a look.

"After the kerfluffle with my sister being arrested at the Huntsman's Banquet, I'm here to speak the truth! Knowledge Wars: Guaranteed to bring you the truth, Sponsored by Mac&Cheezy! Is that how it- Oh. AND STICK IT TO ATL-ASS FROM BEHIND, THEM GLOBALIST PIGS! YEAHH! STONES IS ROLLING!"

The man's fist rose into the air in the manner of a sign of strength, and there was someone who put something in front of him.

"Oh. So… You'll have to apologize, people. I'm not a great public speaker. We'll open up to callers right now! Three-one-Zero-Vale-One-Two, you're on the air!"

There was a click and a woman's voice came to the ears of the audience.

"Soo… You look like a real man. Still single, or are you up to dance in the dark with a Faunus, hmm?"

The man's face was stone-faced, as he brushed his hand through his hair, clearly not too charmed by the suggestion.

"I'm still single, but I am not looking for a partner right now. The people of Vale need to have someone protect them. I am charmed by the offer though. Next caller, please."

The ratings of that episode of the Knowledge Wars broadcast went through the roof, and Greg Stones got a bit of a minor cult following amongst the Faunus community. Six callers had been Faunus women, with one only giggling about 'horny Faunus vitality!'

Alexandrite Stones Knowledge Wars started getting more popular.
