FOREWORD
Hey,its UltimatemewtwoX.So,here is the chapter four.I am beginning this one as soon as I published the previous one.And,also someone in the review section asked that if it will still be a Gohanx18 story?Yes,actually it will be.I am currently staying with my cousin as I came here to visit him during March for a few days and I am stuck in his house due to Lockdown.My house is also in the same city but due to strict protocols I am unable to go to my house.So,for a few more days I will be staying at his place.I already asked him about his plans which he had for this story,and he surprisingly still remembers everything.He completely explained to me and also gave me tips to write better.And,also he said that he will actually come to this site again,but after next year March,since his finals exams will be probably be over by then and if not then he might not.So,if he comes then together we will write this story and he will continue the pokemon stories,but in case he does want to return then the pokemon stories will be left like that.So,i guess this much detail is okay.Now, let's move on to the chapter.
LAST TIME ON DRAGON BALL M
Son Goku,Bulma,Maron,Nappa,Raditz and Gohan set out to Namek,where they search for and gather the Dragon Balls.They run into Vegeta again and the showdown between Vegeta and Raditz occurs with the latter ultimately winning.They also meet up with the Grand Elder whose life is tied with the Dragon Balls.He tries to hold on for them as long as he can and he manages to do it for a little while.They have a race against time with their enemy being the emperor of the Universe Freeza.Ultimately,the Saiyan Prince Vegeta decides to team up with his fellow saiyans and with the help of him and others Son Goku finally ends Freeza and his force.They revive Kami,the guardian of Earth,as well as their friends Krillin,Tien and Chiaotzu.But after Tien sees that Goku has not only included Nappa but Vegeta as well,he and Chiaotzu separate from Goku and the others and walk on their own path.Vegeta accepts the offer from Goku to live on Earth after a little persistence from Maron and peace returns for the z-fighters for whole eighteen months.But,little do they imagine that a threat greater than they can imagine in their whole life is gaining strength...
AUGUST,AGE 764
Eighteen months have passed since the battle of fate between Goku and Freeza.We actually have a year and half to cover up somehow.Might be also like the initial few episodes of whenever a new arc begins.
First off,the two half saiyan brothers.While Bardock is still an infant pretty much and he is not able to do much but can actually talk and starts walking.His power level is already five thousand which shocked everyone. Nappa has become his and Gohan's babysitter.As for Gohan,he is now seven,and with Earth actually safe and with peace everywhere,Goku has completely relaxed the training approach for his son since the sense of danger is nowhere near and now Bulma is hell bent on making her son hit the books.But,after the whole business with Freeza,Gohan has gotten resistant to his studies and sometime directly declines to studies.Bulma is worried,but Goku assures and says that it is just a phase of his life and due to his saiyan DNA he might have changed after all that happened on Namek.Well,it is simple because after everything the young halfling witnessed ever since his uncle arrived and till the end of Freeza completely brought him out of the little world of flowers and fairies Bulma had put him into.He has understood that every fight means that someone will suffer and he does not want anybody to suffer.Not his family,not his friends and not even his world.So,this means one thing he just wants to get stronger just like his dad in order to protect everyone he loves.
As for Raditz and Launch,they finally decide to get married.While blonde Launch is an godzilla over how everything should be grand in the wedding and it should be broadcasted in the whole world they decide to follow good Launch's idea about a small and beautiful ceremony.Raditz is okay with whatever she wants and they have a simple wedding at the Capsule Corp complex.Nappa and Krillin become the organisers of the whole event and double check everything so that there won't be chance of a slightest and lowest sneeze occuring and gladly it all goes fine.Though initially Goku says that they can stay with him and Bulma but Raditz declines and says that they want to be on their own and earn everything like normal people do,so Bulma makes them a capsule home near the place where Goku's adopted Grandpa lived,and also arranges everything for Raditz to work as a farmer because that's what he wishes and the couple focus on building their own family.
As for our very own Prince of All Saiyans,even though he agreed to live on Earth,he did not want to live with Goku or Raditz, not at any cost. He was given a pretty comfortable capsule home and is almost left to his own devices,whatever he had before.The inner conflict within him over his place in the world(And Remember Vegeta and Bulma are not staying together here so he won't have the same luxury of training 24 hours),is bothering him even to times when he thought of ending his own life.You can't blame him,can you?Almost,the first half of his life he spent being a soldier to Freeza as well as planning vengeance against him.But what will he do now,well he ultimately accepts Kakarot as his greatest rival,and he and Raditz are still not on good terms with each other,though they are not enemies but they aren't friends either,they are like bitter rivals.He begins training to push his limits to their highest and one day finally reach super saiyan.The problem for him in this has been that he has to deal with the gravity of Earth and since he is off on his own - he doesn't have permission to use the Gravity Chamber of Capsule Corporations and he is too much prideful to ask for a new one.Sometimes if Vegeta does wants to try to relax between the people ,he simply goes to some park or pub...no eating,no drinking,no talking just him being him ,even though so many people surround him.This helps keep him reminded that he cannot become like these Earthlings.He somewhat understands that since Kakarot was raised here so it is okay that he became native...but then Raditz and Nappa too...well not for him.His arrogance and pride won't allow it-yet.
Nappa is rather a surprising case.He is having an absolute blast on Earth and you can't blame the saiyan.He spent so many years working with Vegeta.Now,that he is actually completely evil free,he is independent.Oh yeah,Nappa has kept his promise to Goku that he will serve him and his family till the end of his life and serves as the bodyguard and babysitters to Bardock and Gohan.He is not interested in romance or family because he is somewhat become a part of Goku's family.He is completely changed from a guy who was wanted nothing than to destroy to the fun big guy between his friends.He became best friends with Yamcha real quick and has got obsessed with Baseball.He is quite a sight to behold when he drinks beer or lights a cigar.
Krillin and Maron have kept their relationship intact,but Maron has somewhat started to get a bit distant from Krillin who cannot notice that, unfortunately. She is rather interested in Vegeta and always to tries to talk to him whenever they meet but it usually ends in an argument between the two.As for her work,she is still one of three top scientists of the Capsule Corporations, after Bulma and her dad.As for Krillin,he is grateful to Goku for bringing him back,but he has noticed that during his little time on Namek,Goku has gotten far stronger than he could imagine.Even Yamcha got stronger than he thought possible within that little time.And if that is not it,then Goku and Yamcha have settled down long ago.Though he is in a relationship but he kind of has a feeling that Maron does not want to their relationship to go any further,like marriage and family planning.He is still a fighter and takes up the offer from Kami to train with him.No matter how hard he tried to say no to it,he had to admit that until Goku actually defeated Freeza,he was determined to surpass him.After one year of harsh training with Kami,he spends the next six months refining his old school techniques with Master Roshi.
While Krillin continues his training,Kami does what he can do with Dende as he prepares the young Namekian to replace him as the guardian of Earth.Kami just has a feeling that something is going to happen,but he isn't sure what it is.
Ah,yes Yamcha.He is almost a retired fighter,but is still happily married with Chichi and there daughter Yam-Chi is aiming to grow to either be a baseball player or scholar.Luckily,Chichi is much more relaxed here due to Yamcha's high bank balance because of being one hell of a baseball player.So,no need of the Ox-king's wealth.And,here she isn't so open and does not talk much with the z-fighters since here there is nothing she needs to do or say being Yamcha's wife but still attends every function held by Bulma or the others.
Finally,it is Bulma and Goku's turn.Bulma has become very busy as she has been working on many new projects thanks to the Freeza force database copy which Raditz gave her.Maron is always there to help her whenever she needs.Though,she is busy in work,Bulma does remember to spend equal amount of time with her family and specially with her husband,now that there is peace time.Goku,on the other hand,still continues to train hard,but not as hard as before.As a super saiyan,he has left everyone to bite the dust.The only able to hold their own against him are Vegeta and Raditz.He has no idea just what he should do now,at least until his brother or Vegeta attain the super saiyan form.
Well,damn his luck there is some business about to pick up.
In the space,a very familiar ship is cruising through the cosmos.The ship of the father of emperor Freeza,King Cold.
"Your majesty"a soldier reports "We should be in Earth's atmosphere within an hour"
"Excellent"King Cold says "I want to make clear to the soldiers,that our mission is to take care of this 'Super saiyan' first,then we shall deal with the rest of this pathetic little rock"
"At once,Sire"the soldier says.
Freeza,you fool.You let your guard down for one moment against some kind of dung flinging monkey, and suddenly I have to clean the mess you created.But don't worry,I will avenge you,my son.First that so called 'Legendary Super Saiyan',then from those who dared to rise against you.They will all pay for this humiliation.
Currently on Earth,it is shortly after noon.Every one except Tien and Chiaotzu have gathered for a friendly barbeque,even Vegeta is there,but is just being himself.He has made it clear that he is there for two reasons,to see how strong Goku has gotten and obviously for the food.Gohan is not allowed to mingle socially,he is supposed to be studying according to Bulma,though those hopes are quickly blown away when the half-Saiyan almost killed his tutor,it creates a scene.
Bulma is furious,demanding why her son did that.Gohan jumps into his mother's arms and hides himself in her arms and points out that the guy had a whip,and was threatning to beat him with it. Nappa grabs the tutor,and pulls him up by the collar,hoisting him for all to see.Bulma asks if that's true, and the tutor(in his french accent) said that that's how they do it where he comes from.
"What do you want me do with him,madam?"Nappa asked.
Bulma told him to 'do it his own way' and Nappa delightfully threw the guy from the complex to the west city(considering how far it is from capsule corp.).Bulma scolded Gohan,saying that yeah the tutor was a jerk,and of course he shouldn't have used that whip, but that's no excuse for Gohan's behaviour.This leads to an arugument as Goku also joins in the favour of his son,until Chichi announces the food is ready.
Everybody digs in, and with five Saiyans - yeah it is a huge feast.Vegeta lowers his guard for the meantime,praising how the food is great and how he can get as much as he wants,Bulma suggests that he learn how to cook,and when Vegeta protests,she points out that she is not running a Saiyan food stall,so either learn to cook...or stop protesting.
But then Raditz stands up with a smile.He looks at (good)Launch "Everyone,we have an announcement to make"He said.Everyone stops and looks at him,though Vegeta silently chews his food.
"Do you want to tell them,Darling?"Raditz asked.
Launch smiles "Raditz and I are going to be parents"
And everyone starts shouting and cheering in excitement.Except for the Saiyan Prince,who doesn't care.Goku gives his brother a thumbs up as Bulma and Chichi run over to Launch totally excited talking about names,baby shower ideas,good schools,etc as Maron also joins in.
"You bastard"Nappa said with a smile,pointing at Raditz "I am going to get you the biggest cigar in west city"
Wonderful,another half-breed Vegeta thinks
Although if this one shows as much potential as Kakarot's brats...damn all of it.Is this the future of the great Saiyan race?Halflings with more power and potential than their ancestors can even dream of,but not a bit of a warrior's spririt?Better for the race to extinct than to be reduced to this.You won't find me mating with these weaklings.
Meanwhile,As the Prince tempts his fate...
"You Majesty,we should be entering in Earth's atmosphere within minutes"a soldier reported.
Sitting in his chair,with his head on one hand and a decanter of space wine in the other,King Cold watched as his ship approached Earth.
"Brilliant.Remind the men that our mission is to find this so-called almighty super saiyan,and until that threat is dealt with,they are forbidden to any harm to the planet as they please"King cold said.He has a smug look on his face.He thinks about various plans about how to get vengeance from the Saiyans for his son.It angers him and he crushes the decanter with little effort.
"Contact Commander Sorbet,I expect another high level survey on the Namek system completed. Inform him that if he can not tell me just where that planet is , he will have to explain to me"
Somewhere on Earth,on a seren wooded area by a waterfall,meditates Tien Shinhan and his best pal Chiaotzu.Their meditation is disturbed by the presence of a strong enemy.
"Tien?Can you feel that?"Chiaotzu asked.
"Yes,Chiaotzu"Tien replied "I've felt something like this before...when Goku fought King Piccolo.Purely evil..."
"Don't you think we should go help?"
"No Goku and his friends can handle this"
And of course,the nearing of King Cold's ship to Earth has now set off a degree of panic at the barbeque party.Vegeta chastises Goku for not finishing Freeza,in spite of the others who went there saying that Freeza was destroyed.Yamcha asks Chichi to take Yam-Chi and head home,Gohan goes and grabs his armor.Those that can fly take off,while the likes of Bulma,Roshi,Yajirobe and Oolong having to follow in a Capsule Corp. plane
Bulma asks Launch to stay behind,since she is pregnant and leaves Bardock at her care,and Chichi,Yam-Chi,Maron and Puar decided to stay as well.
They all land,and observe as the Spaceship makes its landing in a field in the middle of nowhere.
Although the non-Saiyans are kind of scared right now,Nappa urges natural caution,with Vegeta saying that if they want a closer look,they need to go in on foot,otherwise their scouters would give them away.
"Hey,if it's power we are worried about,then why don't we just send kakarot up there?He goes super saiyan,problem solved,you know what i am talking about,right?"Nappa asked.
This leads to an argument about whether they should take Vegeta's approach,or just let Goku blow the crap out of everyone present in that spaceship and the inhabitants.Goku does not say anything and stays away from the argument,but soon both the saiyans in the argument turn their attention to an explosion in the distance...
The ramp on the ship elongates.Several low level mooks emerge first,followed by the king himself,a hulking figure that looks not so unfamilair to Freeza.He laughs as he looks around "Ee-arth" for the first time.
"Now remember,soldiers"King Cold said "We are not here to just conquer this planet,but to avenge my son!Once that is done-you may do as you please"
The soldiers rally and are prepared to go out and cause chaos,until someone says
"So...guess I am the first line of defense, huh?"
This draws King Cold's attention
"I am sorry,Who are you young man?"He asked.
And yes,of course this voice belongs to our very own Future Trunks.And also,he looks exactly the same he did when he showed up in the manga/anime.
"Today is your last day,Freeza"Trunks said
King Cold looked confused "Freeza?I am sorry,you must be mistaken,Freeza is my son and I literally said we were here to 'avenge him'"King Cold said with a stern look.
"Oh,my mistake.Your kind looks all the same,then where is Freeza?"Trunks asked.
"Are you trying to be clever or test my patience,boy?Soldiers,I seem to have a headache -take care of it"
One of the soldiers steps forwards,presses his scouter and laughs "A power level of ten?Oh,please"
The mook steps forward to attack but Trunks hits him hard and send him directly to the other world.The other soldiers are caught by surprise,but they quickly turn to attack.With lightning speed and help of his sword,Trunks quickly dispatches them after their colleague.It is now down to him and King Cold.King Cold smiled smugly.
"Impressive display,boy,you hid your power really well"He said"You are a very seasoned fighter.Though,i was hoping to have them clean up some of the population.I must warn you,as impressive as that little display was,you can't possibly hope to win.If the rumours are indeed true about him,then the only that can go up against me is the super saiyan"
Trunks smirks "Is that so?"
"Yes,now run away boy,and maybe if you managed to survive to see the post apocalyptic horror,I will let you join my army"
"I will keep that in mind,but hey let me just help you out"Trunks said"Do you know how the super saiyan looks like,cause i do"
"You do ?"King Cold asked in shock.
"Yeah"Trunks said "See,the main thing to look for,is their eyes turn green,hair becomes golden and the white aura around them also turns gold.To be honest,it is like...this "
With that,Trunks assumes his stance and turns super saiyan.King Cold is completely horrified by this and over where Goku and the others are hiding,they have also lost it.
"It...it was just a legend!It can't be.It simply can't"King Cold yelled.Trunks smiles and pulls out his sword.
"No more games.Where is Freeza?"Trunks asked.
"What are you talking about?I told you he is dead,you...you killed him"King cold yelled.
Wait...how many super saiyans are there? Well,King Cold is not going to get an answer to that question.Trunks is completely confused,but just quickly shakes his head and readies his sword.King Cold screams in horror.And Trunks charges...and the king is gone.He then turns to the spaceship.
"MASENKO HAAA" Trunks yelled,firing the yellow beam.It explodes.He reverts to his normal form and frowns . I killed Freeza?What was he talking about.
He turns around and sees the z-fighters.Trunks smiles "Hey,I am heading over to where Goku is going to land in a little bit.You guys can come if you want to!"
All the Z-fighters gasp.
"What the hell is talking about?Do you know him,Kakarot?"Vegeta asked.
"No...I have never seen him before in my whole life"Goku said "But that power...did you see guys see that?"
"He possesses the same power you do,Goku"Bulma said to her husband.
Vegeta seethes.Sure,Kakarot might be able to be the first to obtain the legendary power - but that was a fluke,nothing more.He was totally sure he was to be the second super saiyan - but more importantly,Vegeta has a small epiphany. If low class thud like Kakarot and whoever this brat is can do it...it's only a matter of time.I'll gain this power,and then I will make you pay for that humiliation,Both you and that whelp,Kakarot.
Everyone is amazed though
Yamcha did not know there were other Saiyans,but Vegeta shuts him up with "No way,Idiot.What part of 'Planet Vegeta was destroyed' is so hard to understand?"
Another argument breaks out about the mysterious visitor.And while that is going on,that one soldier that Trunks took care has crawled over to the time machine.
Goku has a few questions for this new visitor and flies over.
"Hi,I am Goku"He says,extending his hand.Trunks is now in a state of complete shock.He had heard stories from his mom about what Goku looked like,and Future Bulma had even showed him a picture of Goku.
"You are...the Goku?"Trunks asks,Goku nods slightly confused at the title. "Did you land here,earlier?"Trunks asked but he denied it.
"How...is that possible?"Trunks says,facepalming.he turns around,but then he sees the one soldier who is now going to town on the time machine "Hey"Trunks yelled as he flew over and quickly sent the soldier to hell.
"Woah,what is this?"Goku asked,taking a closer look.
"I will answer that and more...I am sure we have a few question for each other,Goku"Trunks said.Goku notices the capsule corp logo on the machine.
"I did not know we made this kind of things"Goku said.Trunks raised a brow at 'we'.
"Though it is kind of like the sketch Bulma showed me a few days ago.Whatever she explained I couldn't understand"
"Few days ago?You've been here for that long?"
"Well,yeah,Why should not I be?"
Trunks sits down.This is too much for him."It is because you are not supposed to be.You are supposed to land not far from here in three hours from now.Obviously that is not the case...but why?"
"By the way,that guy you killed.Who was it?"Goku asked.
"He said he was the father of Freeza.Apparently he thought,I was the one who killed Freeza on Namek.But that is not how this should have been"Trunks said.
"No,I killed Freeza on Namek"Goku said.
"You absolutely sure?"Trunks said.
"Yep...I can't imagine I have ever had an energy wave as powerful as that one"Goku said. "So,I've answered some of your questions"
"Right.Well,I am going to start by-"Trunks is cut off by Goku who puts a finger to the boy's mouth and smiles.
"I may know an easier way,Kiddo"Goku said,putting his hand to the forehead of Trunks.
Everyone watches as Gohan tells them that this is the same trick Goku did on Namek.
"Hey Yamcha"Oolong sais "Is it just me...or that kid actually looks familiar?"
"Huh...now that you mention it..."Yamcha said "His hair does look the same as Bardock"
"Well,yeah but not that.I mean look at him and Bulma"Oolong said.
More discussion continues about the boy as Raditz thinks Dammit,how long will Kakarot take?
Goku lifts his hand.Trunks is a little confused,but Goku just smiles."I see.I just read not only your history,but the history of your world.Wow...Bulma did seemed to like strong men always..."
Trunks is shocked to hell "How did you do that?"
"May 12,10 A.M.,an island nine miles southwest of South City,Right?"
"You really did it"Trunks said "You are not going to tell Bulma or Vegeta,are you?"
"No,I am good at keeping secrets,though I think it would be okay to let my Bulma know.Vegeta on other hand..."
Trunks looks down"Mom said she never saw him with any other woman,as far as she knew.They were only together for a night and that's how I came to be.If he or she were to find out..."
"Well...about that"Goku said "Trunks...but this is not the past you were looking for.You see..."Goku began telling Trunks the history of his world as Trunks was frozen in shock.
"You married my mom?"Trunks asked.
"Yeah...you see Trunks it seems to me that in your world Bulma or I,neither of us managed to confess to each other and after ChiChi asked me I was just stupid that I agreed to marry her and both Bulma and I had suppress our feelings for each other without knowing about the other's feelings,but here things went differently".Trunks looks down sadly "Come on,I will introduce you to everyone.I know you have been wanting to meet them for a long time"
"But we if do that,my existence-"
"Relax.I will keep your name a secret,as well as who your parents are.Believe me,the last thing I want is Vegeta getting any kind of crazy ideas about my wife,either good or bad..."Goku said.Trunks was very upset.Is there no way for my existence is this timeline?
Goku sees the kid's face and feels sad for him and says "Listen,Trunks.I am sorry but I don't feel that there is any chance of Vegeta being your father and Bulma being your mother,because here she is already married and as her husband I have to protect her...from all of this"Goku said.
Guess,This is where the talk of my existence in this world ends.Trunks thought but put on a very brave face and said "You really are amazing,Goku"
"I will need to ask Kami about that King Kai guy- I am glad I told Gohan,and that he told you about it"Goku said.
And so,they head over to the others and the key messsage of why Trunks is there is revealed.They have a few drinks and Vegeta scoffs,yes it is explained that Trunks is indeed an half-saiyan,but the questions about his identity and family are shut up immediately.
Finally,Trunks said"Well...It's time I got going.Can I speak with you one last time,Goku?"
"Sure"Goku said.
Trunks turns to the others and bows in front of them in respect and smiles "I am glad I got to meet all of you.Until today,most of you were just names in stories like some kind of fairytale.I hope to fight by your side-one day"
Goku and Trunks fly over to the time machine."My father did not speak a word to me,"Trunks said
"Well...that's Vegeta.He has been pretty sore already about me attaining Super Saiyan before me.And even on top of that he does not know that you are his son from another future,so well,seeing someone else after me and before him reaching the state has probably wounded his pride.Don't worry about him- he is slowly starting to warm up to everyone,and if I know that guy,just the sight of both of us attaining it will be enough to make him jump to the next step"Goku said.
"I hope you are right"Trunks said.
"Yeah...and about your Gohan,I am so proud...he was brave and so strong...He may not have been my Gohan,but I am proud of him and proud to see how far you have come as his student"
Trunks is touched by this.Goku might have denied to let any normal circumstances of Trunks existence as Vegeta and Bulma's son come true but still he cares about him,the boy who was his wife's son yet not his son. But then he realizes something."Shoot,I almost forgot this.Here,Goku"Trunks hands the heart virus's medicine to Goku "When the symptoms begin,take the medicine,and you should be okay.From what I understand,you would feel the want to die for about first ten days,but after that you should be okay,so just hang in there when it happens-your future will be counting on you.As for me...it will take eight months for the machine to have enough energy for another round trip.With any luck,I should be able to prevent the androids for the time being.I will come back on May 12,three years from now"
Trunks then climbs into the time machine.Goku gives a salute and waves goodbye,rejoining the others.
Raditz is incredibly taken aback by this,in that timeline,he died a weakling coward.
"You actually think the kid's from the future?"Oolong says.
"After seeing his transformation and power,I believe he is..."Yamcha said "I don't see how we can even argue with him"
"So,that must be the reason why you stopped fighting and took up that stupid sport.You don't have anything of a spine"Vegeta said smugly.
"Easy Vegeta"Goku said"Admit it,you are atleast intrigued to know how he went Super Saiyan"
"Not really"Vegeta said "Unlike these idiots,I have not doubt that child was indeed another halfling.But it also showed me that you were not a fluke Kakarot...and that it's only a matter of time until I have this power too"
Then to their surprise,they see the time machine taking off.They see as Trunks hovers over them.Suddenly,they see Trunks begin to screan in horror inside the time machine,alarms going off like crazy.
"Oh,Crap"Trunks yelled,pressing all the buttons at once.Black smoke begins to come out of the time machine,followed by small bails as the time machine comes crashing into the ground.Everyone jumps away to save themselves.Fortunately,the fuel cell does not explode,but it is clear that the time machine is not going to work anytime soon.
"Trunks , You Okay?"Goku yelled,running over to him.
"Ohh,so that's his name"Krillin said"Wonder why there so secretive about it..."
"Hey,Bulma doesn't that name sound familiar to you?"Oolong asked.
"Yeah, that's what I initially wanted to name Gohan"Bulma said thoughfully.
Goku flies over and sees that the boy is fine,but he is staring at the wrecked machine in horror.
"I don't think any of you have advanced degree in quantum physics?"Trunks asked
"Well,I am working on one"Bulma said,looking at the wreck. "Strange...now that I think about it ,this thing looks like something I sketched..."
Trunks and Goku chuckle nervously and Trunks said "Y-Yeah...Strange,Can you do anything about this?"
Bulma smiles "Well,Your mother must be one genius lady to put this thing together,if it really is a time machine "
"She is"Trunks says.Bulma takes a closer look "I might be able to do something with it...some day...but I am afraid you have to stay a little longer than you had hoped"Bulma said.
"How long?"Trunks asked.
"Well...maybe a year or two...or three"Bulma said
"What? Isn't there anyone else who can repair it?"Trunks asked.
"The only person smarter than me is my father"Bulma said "Believe me,that sketch needed his help.We will have to get this back to my lab"
Trunks nods and pulls out a capsule giving it a toss as the time machine gets inside it.He then picks up the capsule,pocketing it.Trunks then takes a seat at a rock.
"Come on,the sooner we get home,the sooner I can do something about this"Bulma said,heading over to the plane.Surprisingly,everyone goes in it... even Vegeta. After whatever they have witnessed and told...nobody feels like flying.
While on the Lookout,Kami approaches Dende and Mr.Popo.
"Mr.Popo I need your help"Kami said.
"Yes,Kami?"Mr.Popo asked
"I require to use the dragon balls"Kami said as Mr.Popo nodded.
"At once,Kami"Mr.Popo said leaving as Kami looks at the young to-be-guardian.
"You felt that power too Dende,Right?"Kami asked.
"Yes...it was like Freeza...but a little different and that other power...another Super Saiyan"Dende said
"Yes"Kami said and put an hand on the shoulder of Dende and said "Dende for eighteen months you have been my apprentice.Now it is time for you to become the next guardian of Earth.That other super Saiyan...he spoke of some androids who would materialize on the planet in three years against whom not even a super saiyan could stand up.I cannot do much from here but I want to join the fight,otherwise not only Will I lose the chance to repay my debt to Goku but also will not be able to save the planet I love so much"
"Kami"Dende said "I left our home for this.After what Goku,Gohan,Nappa and Raditz did ...I would anything I could to help them"Dende said as Kami smiled
Mr Popo returns with a small bag.He hands it to Kami "The Dragon Balls,Kami"
"Thank You Mr.Popo"Kami said.He kneels and places the Dragon Balls on the Ground
"Eternal Shenron"Kami said stretching out his arms "By your name,I summon you forth!"
The Sky grows dark and the three watch as Shenron appears.
"I AM THE ETERNAL DRAGON SHENRON!STATE YOUR WISH! AND I SHALL FULFILL IT"
"Hello,Old Friend"Kami said smiling.
"KAMI?HOW MAY I SERVE YOU,MY CREATOR?"
"This world will soon be facing a dire crisis,my friend,and it requires my assistance.For that,Dragon,I ask that you grant me eternal youth"Kami said.
Mr.Popo gasps while Dende is silent "Kami?Why?"
"AS YOU COMMAND,SO BE IT"
Shenron's eyes glows and a blue aura surrounds Kami.Dende and Mr.Popo watch as Kami not only becomes younger and different,but his height has increased and his clothes are now a white and blue gi type(Like Piccolo's outift only a dark blue instead of purple,well almost as I mentioned in the last chapter) and a white headband.
"YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED,MY CREATOR.UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN"
Shenron disappears and the Dragon Balls fly off to their hiding places.Kami closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before opening them again.
"Its over"Kami says,his voice very deep.In fact its the same as another Namekian we all used to watch in the anime.He turns to Dende "You will need to recreate Shenron with your essence,Dende.From now on,you are the Guardian of Earth.Mr.Popo,as my final request,I ask you to serve Dende faithfully as you have to me for centuries"
"Of Course,Kami"Mr Popo said.Kami then smiled and turned to Dende firing a small beam changing Dende's clothes into that of a true guardian.He passes his staff to Dende who accepts it by bowing with respect.
"And now,Farewell my friends.I must prepare for the war to come.I shall return after three years"Kami said and flew off.
And on the other hand,the plane is flying back to Capsule Corporations,everyone completely silent until Goku breaks it.
"Uh,Trunks I just thought of something"Goku said.Everyone turns to Goku as Goku says "If things are different from where you are...I mean...from how they are here...maybe the androids might not show up at all"Goku said.
"How come different?"Bulma asked with a raised brow as Goku just laughed nervously realising his fault but Trunks said "I hope you are right"Trunks said "Still,you don't want to take that risk,believe me"
Vegeta scoofs at that"Tell me,boy,did the me from your world,Did he achieve Kakarot's power?"
Trunks looks at him and said "I don't know if you did-if he did, doesn't make a difference"
Trunks gives an icy glare at Vegeta as he finishes the statement. Well,ateast this kid is not completely a coward. Vegeta thinks.
That takes the mood down a bit.After a tense moment,Raditz stands up and looks at Goku "Kakarot,give a message to my wife.Tell her...I will be home late"He said.Raditz thens lowers the cargo bamp and flies off.Krillin closes it.
"Boy ,what do you think that was about?I know it is troubling,but we have whole three years"Krillin said.
"Shows just what you know about the Saiyan race,bald guy"Vegeta said"Every second a Saiyan does not spend training means a second wasted for him.In just one month,Kakarot went from barely leaving a scratch at me to destroying a being like Freeza.What do you think he or any dedicated saiyan could achieve with years to work with?"
Krillin thought of saying back but retreated as Vegeta said "Speaking of training,Kakarot,do you think your woman's father could do me a favour?"Vegeta asked.
"Yeah,I think so.Why,what's up?"Goku asked.
"I have a request.Ever since i have been on this miserable planet I did not ask you anything but if you do want a fair rematch with me one day then its best I get my own Gravity Chamber"
"Oh,sure.You should have just said earlier"Goku said.
Trunks is watching this with intense curiosity.He has never met Vegeta before,he has only heard from his mother about hin which limited his dad's personality.On top of that,seeing that everything is different here he is totally confused.He had prepared himself to face the younger versions of his parents and get them together somehow so that his existence might also happen easily but was not prepared for this that Bulma might not be his mother and was married to Goku.He has also not quite sure of what to think of Gohan.The Gohan he knew and admired was like a big brother to him but this Gohan is technically his half-brother... Jeez,what would I tell Mom if I get back...
Bulma hits a button on the console and heads into the passenger area,smiling "You know if Dr.Gero is really the one who is really responsible for all of this,why don't we just track him down and put him away?We could even use the Dragon Balls to just find him,show up,and problem solved"
"Wow,that is a great idea,Bulma"Krillin said
"It might be worth a shot"Trunks said "How come i didn't think of it?"
"If any of you think of doing that,you will all pay very dearly,and believe me,I won't forgive"Vegeta snapped in anger.
"Are you crazy?"Bulma screamed "You heard what Trunks said!This is not a game,Vegeta"
Everyone then for some reason turn towards Goku who looks up thinking and says "Well,It does not really seem fair since he has not invented anything yet.Besides...I am kind of actually looking forward to fighting them"
Everyone suddenly thinks about it and nods agreeing as Bulma is shocked.
"You...arggggghhhhhh"Bulma yelled in frustration."Fine,all of you idiots do whatever you want"
"Mom...Dad"Gohan said "I want to fight,too"
"Oh,you don't start mister"Bulma said "Taking you to Namek was one thing,but that was only because we did not know any intergalactic space emperor would be there.You are only studying and that is all you've to do"
"Uh...actually Mo...Bulma"Trunks said carefully "Where I am from Gohan was my teacher"
"That was a different Gohan"Bulma said.
"That is true...but only one parent needs to be a Saiyan to reach this power.Please...let me at least train him"
"Yeah,besides...mom...even Vegeta knows I can get much stronger"Gohan said.
"Oh really?"Bulma asked,shooting an icy glare at Vegeta.
"Don't get any ideas,I only said that the boy had strength greater than he realized"Vegeta said "You should know that by now that applies to all of us"
Bulma lets a sigh and says "Fine,you can train him,but you better promise me Gohan that you will take care of yourself"
Gohan smiles and says "I promise,Mom"
"Good"Bulma said
The plane lands and everyone goes on their ways...
In a far away place,Raditz just stands,observing the countryside at night.His fists clench, and he yells in pure rage and grimace.
Is this how everything is supposed to end?My brother,his family,my wife and my unborn child,I will lose all of them.No,it won't happen I won't let it happen.NEVER...
Raditz thinks and screams in rage boiling within him.His hair starts changing colour,and a golden aura slowly begins to engulf him in it.One final scream,and boom.Its done,He has achieved it.He is a SUPER SAIYAN.
Raditz looks down at his hands and is amazed at the wild flow of power inside his body.He begins laughing in joy.
While at the capsule corp.,Bulma has given Trunks his own room and Gohan is already sleeping at his room with Bardock. Same with Nappa.Whilst in Goku and Bulma's room,Bulma comes out of the bathroom,only in a towel and sees that her husband is looking at the sky through the window.She goes to him and taps on his shoulder as he turns around.
"Goku, What's the matter?"Bulma asked.
"What,Nothing of course"Goku said but Bulma caught the lie.
"It's something involving that boy Trunks right?"Bulma asked.
"Yeah...It is just something Trunks told me...That I died through an heart virus in his timeline and couldn't protect anyone.I was useless"Goku said.Bulma smiles and pecks his cheek and says "Don't say that.There that virus was strong but here things will be different".Goku smiled as he picked up his wife bridal style and put her on the bed and went to her side.He began kissing her neck but she stopped him and said "Wait,before that I have a question".
Goku looked at her and said "What question?".He was afraid this question was about Trunks.
"That boy Trunks,there is something strange about his identity isn't there?"Bulma asked.
"Uhhh"Goku couldn't answer but Bulma grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes and said "Tell me the truth".Goku sighed and said "Fine but promise me you won't tell anyone especially Vegeta ".
"I promise"Bulma said.
"Well...You see Bulma in his time You and I never confessed to each other and I accepted Chichi's proposal and married her and we supressed our feelings for each other and eventually forgot that there were any.You and Vegeta were somehow together for a night and..."
"And that's how Trunks came to be,right?"Bulma asked as Goku nodded sadly.But Bulma smiled and said "Well,it doesn't matter I won't let him know about it and neither anyone else".
Goku smiled but saw that his wife was giving him a sly smile.She brought her lips to his ear and whispered seductively "Now, won't we continue?".Goku smiled as he continued kissing her.Clothes being thrown(Only Goku's as Bulma was only in a towel).Lights were turned off and their lovemaking began.
And the three year time skip.Everyone is completely busy training but there a few people to pay attention to...
First off,Raditz and Launch,eight months after Trunks' arrival,have a baby girl:Ranch. If you want to know about how she looks,I suggest you to go through MasakoX's "What If Raditz Turned Good" series...you will have a good idea of how she looks.If you are wanting to see her picture just google "Dragon Ball Raditz Ranch Launch" and you will get it.
She is just like a typical saiyan baby girl,happy and cheerful.Well as far as this arc goes.
As for Bardock,he is now five and is already training in the Gravity Chamber.Surprisingly he has already defied the laws of physics as his power level has surpassed that of Goku as a super saiyan when Raditz arrived (40000 to be precise).Though Bulma and Goku as well do not want their younger son to take part in this big battle so they have not informed him about all of this.
Vegeta finally got his own gravity chamber,complete with Capsule storage and spends his time trying to conquer 300g gravity.It is not as fruitful as he hopes.But..on one particular night,Vegeta trains in frustration at not being able to match Goku or Trunks,without even knowing about Raditz.Vegeta is closing on to that power but he pushed himself too far and in a burst of energy caused an explosion destroying the gravity chamber.Maron arrived and screamed as he pulled himself up.
"Are...you okay?"Maron asked worriedly.
"Mind...your...own...Woman"Vegeta said,collapsing.
Maron sighed but kneeled and grabbed him "You are so stubborn,Come on Let's take you inside"She said
Vegeta is out for a bit but when he wakes up,he finds himself in bed,bandaged up,with Maron sleeping on the chair near his bed.He grunts in pain as he tries to get up,waking Maron in the process.
"You are awake"She said smiling.Vegeta ignored her and asked "How long was I out?"
"About two days"Maron said
Vegeta struggles to sit "The Prince of All Saiyans reduced to this"He said and looked at Maron(Oh and by the way Maron and Krillin finally broke up with each other) and said "I never told you to stay at my house"Vegeta said.
"I couldn't just leave you here injured,what kind of person would I be If I did that?"She asked.
Vegeta lets out a painful scoff."An Earthling"He said,trying to stand.He grunted in pain as he fell onto the floor.Maron quickly attends to him.
"Get away from me,Woman.I don't need your help"Vegeta said.
But Maron is persistent and gets him back onto the bed...and one thing led to another.

Once he recovered,he sent her out of his way and blushed as she gave him a peck on his cheek and went back to her house in the capsule corp. and Vegeta leaves to train.
Several months later,Everyone notices that Maron's belly is noticeably larger.When everyone persists,Maron reveals she and Vegeta had been together for a night and that did this...
And yeah,Vegeta used his special big bang on Maron and moved away.
Vegeta doesn't care about the child or Maron and leaves to train himself.Maron now doesn't have anything to do,since Bulma asked her to rest until the baby pops out.Trunks is aghast.He slowly begins to realize why his mother never talked much about Vegeta.He then does the math and realizes that Maron's baby is due around the same time he was. DAMN DENDE.
During that period,Maron says that Vegeta wasn't with her for body or personality...however,their relationship did not blossomed out of lust or love,but out of a moment of tenderness.
And finally when she gives birth,it is a boy.Being her best friend,Maron asks Bulma to name the boy and she names him after her family trait,Trunks.Future Trunks just rolls with it.
And about Nappa,well his role is really has been at a supporting level.He is weakest fully blooded saiyan and he doesn't have the luxury of the same experiences the other did.He has really lagged behind,but realizes that his role is to protect Goku's family,not do the actual fighting.He can live with that.Nappa's reasoning is that if there is a problem he isn't able to handle,they will probably have to call in Goku or one of the others eventually.
As such,Nappa decides to help out as much as he can with developing Krillin and Yamcha .His low power level,somewhat about 800000,has worked to their advantage,it let's them have a more of an even opponent to train against,and get better gains as a result.Hitting Nappa is a bit more achieveable goal than hitting Goku.And for Krillin it has also stabled his mental condition after his break up.
And Kami,well...let's says that his training methods are a secret,for now.
As for Goku,he is training to his highest limits and here due to him training under crazier conditions in the gravity chamber he is actually knocking on the door of the Super Saiyan Grade 2,but has not yet achieved it yet.
And this was probably the last time we mentioned the power levels,just like in the original.

AFTERTHOUGHT
So,this chapter is over.It was shorter than the last one but more fun to write because the arrival of future Trunks.Also,I have decided that after the cell saga here in Dragon Ball M I will continue the story and I will begin another story where Future Trunks after returning to the future after cell was defeated,revived everyone with the help of the namekian dragon balls and how that would turn the things like Future Z-fighters meeting the present ones and future ChiChi meeting present Goku and finding about how she was the reason for Goku and Bulma not being able to be together in that timeline and the Vegetas meeting each other.That is going to be fun.
And yeah of course,as for the story I thought of making Future Trunks stay in the present and change the course of the story a bit as it will be boring if everything is same as canon.
