The dragons had been stunned to hear the confession of Catelyn Stark. That woman caused all the misery that their family had suffered and her petty jealousy. Balerion growled, and his chest started to glow ominously. The only thing that he wanted to do was rush out of the cave and burn the entire camp down and make Catelyn Stark watch as he tore her son apart; so that she would suffer as his family had.
Vhagar wrapped herself around her mate to restrain him. **You must calm down, Balerion. We cannot attack the Stark camp. My mother's mate is there, and you cannot harm him.**
Balerion looked at Vhagar, and the glow in his chest subsided, **I will have my vengeance on that human, Vhagar. She does not deserve to live after what she has done to our family.**
**No, she does not. But what better way to get out revenge than to take everything away from her, starting with her mate.**
Balerion looked at Vhagar and tilted his head, **What do you mean, mate?**
Vhagar rolled her eyes, **Males. Have you not noticed that the Stark lord is attracted to our Missandei?**
Balerion raised a scaley eyebrow, **He is?**
**Yes, and she is attracted to him as well. When we tell our mothers what happened, I do not doubt that the human will choose Missandei as his mate instead of this female.**
**And once he has, I shall punish her for her crimes against our family.** Balerion said with a satisfied growl.
**We both will, Mate.**
Balerion was now satisfied with the plan that Vhagar came up with; they settled down for the night. The dragons would stay in the cave all day, and the following night, they would fly back to Meereen and report to their mothers.
The following morning, Robb woke up with his arm wrapped around Greywind. He stretched and yawned, then suddenly stopped, remembering what happened the night before. Robb realized that it wasn't a dream; his mother was the catalyst that started Robert's Rebellion and why so many lives were lost. What was Robb going to do now? Robb realized that he could no longer trust his mother now that the Targaryen Queen would aid them in their war against the Lannisters. He couldn't risk their wrath.
But what should he do about his mother? "I have to inform Father," Robb said to Greywind, "It is only right that he be informed of what Mother has done."
With Robb's decision made, he stood up and quickly dressed. He told his guard that he didn't want to be disturbed, then sat down at his desk to write his letter to his father and tell him everything Robb heard his mother confessed. Robb knew that what he was about to tell his father would kill him; he knew his father loved his mother very much.
And so Robb wrote his letter and told Ned everything. Once he was finished, he let the ink dry then folded it then sealed it with the Stark sigil. After that, Robb left his tent and walked to the Maester's tent and had him send the letter to Meereen. Robb instructed the Maester not to let anyone know about the letter he sent to his father, especially Lady Catelyn.
While this was going on, Balerion had heard that the human was sending the message to Meereen. He decided that he would intercept the raven and take it himself to make sure it arrived safely. He would not take any chances that it would end up in the wrong hands. And with the dragons taking the note to Meereen, it would arrive faster.
When nightfall came, Balerion and Vhagar left the cave and took to the air. As they made their way back to Meereen, they kept their eyes open for the Raven that the Stark boy had sent to his father. It didn't take long for Balerion to spot it. He quickly caught the bird and took the letter into his claws. Afterward, the dragons climbed higher into the sky to hide in the clouds so that way they could fly at a higher speed without attracting attention.
When the dragons arrived in Meereen, they were greeted by their excited siblings. **How did things go, brother?** Meraxes asked.
**It went well, though Vhagar and I received some disturbing information. Where are Mother and Father?**
**They are in the Pyramid with our siblings.** Drogon informed his brother.
Balerion made his way towards the Pyramid and landed on the top, then roared, **Mother, Father, we have returned.**
Instantly, Rhaesa, Drogo, and Dany made their way to the balcony to see their children. Rhaesa smiled when she saw her son. *I'm so happy that you two have returned safely. Did everything go well?* Rhaesa asked in Dothraki.
**Yes, Mother, we destroyed a Lannister force that the human was going to face.**
*Did they see you?* Dany asked.
**No, Mother.** Vhagar said as she landed next to Balerion, **We attacked at night and made it seem that it was a fire that went out of control.**
**But there is more, Mother. We heard the Stark woman talking. She was ranting about Aunt Daenerys marrying her son, and she admitted to causing the death of our family.**
"What!" Rhaesa and Dany shouted at the same time.
Balerion and Vhagar then went on to explain everything they had heard. By the time the dragons had finished their story, Rhaesa and Dany were seething. Rhaesa sent for Rhaegar to explained what had happened and that everything was Catelyn Tully's fault. After hearing what his sister said, Rhaegar sat there in shock. He never thought that Catelyn Tully would be so bitter and vindictive as to ruin so many lives because she didn't get her way.
"Did anyone else hear this woman's rant?" Daenerys asked.
**Yes, Aunt. The human's hatchling, Robb Stark, heard everything she said, and he sent a letter to his father the following morning to inform him of everything his mate had done.** Balerion explained.
Rhaesa thought for a moment, "That's good that Lord Stark is informing his father. It shows that he has honor. Now we can only hope that Eddard will not hide this from us."
"What did Balerion say," Rhaegar asked.
Rhaesa explained to her brother the rest of what Balerion said. Rhaegar looked out over Meereen thoughtfully, "I don't think he will, Sister, Eddard Stark has always been known to be an honorable man, and I don't think he will be able to live with himself knowing that his wife was the cause of everything," Rhaegar said.
"I hope you're right, Brother. But I suppose the only thing we can do is wait until the Raven arrives to find out what he's going to do."
Balerion growled, **We do not have to wait long, Mother. Vhagar and I intercepted the raven. I have the message right here.** Balerion said, then extended his claw and opened it. In the middle of his foot was the rumpled letter of Lord Stark's. Rhaesa took it and examined it; she noticed that the Direwolf Sigil was still intact.
"Good, thank you, my love. We shall have Missandei take the letter to Lord Stark in the morning," Rhaesa said; the others agreed, then they headed back inside while the dragons headed back to their nest to rest for the night.
The following morning, when everyone had gathered for breakfast, Rhaesa informed her council what happened the night before. Ser Barristan sat there in shock, "I remember seeing Catelyn Tully in the Capitol when your father was choosing a bride for you, my Prince. I remember that after you had rejected her advances in the garden and she had stormed off that she had a terrible look in her eye. But when she spotted me, her expression instantly changed, and she looked like an innocent maid again. I never once thought that she would exact such vengeance on your family." Ser Barristan informed them.
"It makes me wonder if Hoster Tully knew anything about this," Rhaegar asked.
"I wouldn't think so, my Prince. From what I understand, Hoster Tully was an ambitious man, but he was not like Tywin Lannister." Ser Jorah said.
"Should we still offer them our aid against the Lannisters," Dany asked.
"Yes. We cannot blame the son for the sins of his mother," Rhaesa commented. "Besides, we still need the support of the North for our claim to the Iron Throne," Rhaesa added.
Rhaegar and Dany nodded. After that, everyone settled down to have breakfast with Rhaego and Reuel sitting with their aunt and uncle eating their breakfast. Once everyone cleared out, Rhaesa stopped Missandei, "Missandei, may we speak for a moment?"
"Of course, Your Grace."
"I have noticed that in the past few weeks, you have become quite close to Lord Stark."
Missandei blushed and looked down, "Yes, Your Grace. I enjoy Lord Stark's company. And he seems to enjoy mine."
"That's good; then I think you are the appropriate person to give him the letter from his son," Rhaesa said and handed the note to Missandei, "I have the feeling that after reading that, he's going to need a friend."
Missandei took the letter and looked at it, "Yes, I suppose you're right, Your Grace. I shall go now to give it to him."
"Thank you, Missandei."
"Of course, Your Grace."
And with that, Missandei made her way out of Rhaesa's solar and went to meet Eddard in the gardens for their usual morning walk. She knew that this news would devastate him, but Missandei decided that whatever happened, she would be there for Eddard Stark no matter what.
**SORRY IT'S SO SHORT BUT I THOUGHT THAT BETTER SHORT THAN NOTHING AT ALL.**
