Chapter 1: Meet Sophie

On the Internet there was a site called Stream. And in it was a place called World Designer, and in World Designer was the city of Litwak City. The inhabitants of Litwak City was really mashed up, there were old arcade characters, characters from games who'd been shut down, characters who chose to leave their games for a better life, and inhabitants from old websites.

The city had been through a lot with many wars, invasions, chaos, and all sorts of other stuff. But luckily the city had finally found peace, and the citizens didn't have to worry about anymore big trouble.

One of those citizens was an eight-year-old girl named Sophie. Sophie had belong to the game, Star Wars: A Galaxy Divided, but she was anything but happy there. In that game Sophie was a Jedi in training, so she wasn't allowed to be a normal kid. She trained, fought enemies, and wasn't allowed to grow attachments, have certain emotions, or anything like that, her former life forbid it. The closest she ever had to a mother was her old master who trained her and cared for her, but that all changed when the dreaded order 66 came and she was killed protecting her.

Before dying her master told her to go to World Designer, where she'd be safe. She did, and waited for the signal telling her it was safe to come back. But unfortunately it never came, and her game was delisted.

Sophie was taken to Litwak City orphanage in hopes of finding a family, but her past made it difficult.

But one day that all changed. Sophie met a woman named Honey Potts, who was doing volunteer work at the orphanage. Sophie immediately bonded with Honey, because she looked a lot like her old master.

Honey taught Sophie it was okay to have attachments to certain objects, and express her emotions. Honey eventually adopted Sophie, and she couldn't be happier. She also gained a dad when Honey got a new boyfriend and eventually married him, his name was Zeke Shaw.

Sophie also gained grandparents when Honey's parents came to live in Litwak City, and soon she was going to have a new sibling. She also went to school in the castle, and had made friends with the other kids.

Things could be difficult for Sophie at times. It was hard to adjust to a whole new lifestyle, but with her family and friends, Sophie could handle it.

One Wednesday morning, Sophie was fast asleep in her bed. Suddenly she felt herself being shaken awake.

"Sophie, time to wake up." called a voice.

Sophie opened her eyes, and saw Honey sitting on her bed. She slowly sat up, and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"Morning, Mom." she replied.

"Time to get up and get ready for school."

Then she rocked herself up (because of her large belly), and left her daughter's room. Sophie made her way out of bed, and went to the bathroom. There she ran into Zeke, who already dressed for work.

"Morning, Dad."

"Good morning, Sophie, sleep well?" he asked. "Yep, see you at breakfast."

He went to the kitchen, and Sophie went to the bathroom. After brushing her teeth and washing her face, Sophie went back to her room and got dressed. She put on her usual outfit of a pink shirt, black skirt and boots, and black and pink jacket.

She then put her black hair in its usual ponytail, and went to the kitchen for breakfast with her backpack in hand. Honey was at the table eating some toast with honey, Buzz, Bumble, and Stinger were having some honey in a dish.

"What's for breakfast?" Sophie asked as she sat down.

"I made you some bacon and eggs." Zeke told her.

After he set her food down in front of her, she dug in. After she was finished, Honey looked at the clock.

"You better get outside, Sophie. Sky Lynx will be here any minute."

"Okay."

She put her backpack on her back, said goodbye to her parents and the bees, and left.

Outside, she waited, and a few minute later, Sky Lynx landed in front of her.

"Good morning, Sophie, you ready for school?" he asked her.

"You bet." Sophie answered.

"Then hop in." His door opened, and she boarded.

Inside her classmates were already in their seats.

"Hey guys." she greeted.

Everyone greeted her back. She took a seat beside Mocho.

"All right everyone, stay in your seats, and get ready for a nice smooth ride from yours truly." Sky Lynx announced and he took off towards the castle.

When they got to the castle, the kids got off Sky Lynx, and went inside. Up in the classroom, Twilight Sparkle was there, and so were Kevin and Lucy.

"Hey, Kevin. Hi, Lucy." Sophie greeted them.

"Hey Soph." Kevin greeted back.

"Hi, Sophie." Lucy told her.

Soon everyone began chatting with one another, and then Twilight got everyone's attention.

"All right everyone, let's quiet down."

The kids got in their seats, and waited for further instructions. First Twilight called the role, and everyone was there. First they did some reading, spelling, and math. Then they learned about the setting and cultures of some Mario games.

Then it was time for lunch and recess. They all left the classroom, and went to the dining hall. The cooks of the castle had prepared some cups of Shepard's pie for them, and they all sat at their tables in the lounge.

Sophie sat with Mocho, Lucy, Christie, cinnamon. They talked about the day's lessons, and what was going on with their lives.

"Are you looking forward to the baby's arrival?" Christie asked Sophie.

"You bet. I can't wait for the baby to get here."

When lunch was over, the kids played on the indoor playground. Sophie had a great time on the slide, swings, and jungle gym. All the kids even played a game of hide n seek together. Then when recess was over, they went back to class.

Back in the classroom, Twilight taught them about the history of the Internet, science, art, and read to them. Then the school day ended, and the other kids said goodbye to Kevin and Lucy.

"See you guys tomorrow." Sophie told the twins.

"Bye." they called together.

The kids got back on Sky Lynx, and he flew them home.

When Sophie got to her house, she was greeted by Buzz, Bumble, and Stinger.

"Hey, guys." she told them.

"Hey, Sophie." said Buzz.

"How was school?" wondered Bumble.

"Anything happen?" asked Stinger.

"School was fine, just an average day. Is Mom home?" Sophie said.

"Yeah, she's watching TV." Buzz told her.

As they went inside the house, Sophie saw Honey sitting on the couch.

"Hi, Mom."

"Hi, Sophie. How was school?" Honey asked her.

"Was fine."

"There's milk and cookies waiting for you in the kitchen."

"Thanks."

Sophie threw her backpack in the chair, and had her after school snack.

Once she was finished, she went to go play for a while before starting her homework. After she played, she went to her desk, and started work. As she did, there was a knock at her door.

"Come in."

The door opened, and Zeke revealed himself.

"Hi, Dad."

"Hey, Sophie, how was school?"

"School was fine, how was work?"

"Was fine, did some patrols made a couple arrests."

"Cool."

"Need any help with your homework?" Zeke offered.

"No thanks, I'm almost done." Sophie assured.

Then he left her to do it.

After all her homework was done, she was called for dinner. The three shared a dinner of fried chicken and peas, and talked about their day. When they finished Sophie helped Honey with the dishes, and then watched TV.

Finally after getting a bath and brushing her teeth, it was time for her to go to bed. She changed into her pajamas, and her parents came to tuck her in.

"Goodnight, Sophie." Zeke told her.

"You have sweet dreams, sweetie." Honey said.

They each gave her a kiss, and she returned them.

"Love you, Mom. Love you, Dad." "We love you too." Honey replied.

Zeke turned off the light, and they left the bedroom. And Sophie got comfortable, and drifted off to sleep.
