After the trip however they had dinner and cleaned up as the group has a meeting in the pervert's room. They were having fun as they were going over the photos of the past few days. They were laughing at all the photos that had been taken. But there was another pressing matter on hand.
Once the fun was over there was a massive gathering of people in his room. Everyone was there, All the Gremory girls and Irina and all of the Sitri team were there along with Serafall and Azazel. Rossweiss was on hand but she was in a state of stability yet still throwing up after five-plus hours. Azazel started the meeting as a map appeared for everyone to see. "The area of Nijou Castle and Kyoto Station is on high alert right now. Teams of Devils, Fallen, And Youkai are searching for Cao Cao and his lowly band. We have still yet to find them but there are reports of Nijou castle being the center of an ominous presence at its center right now."
"What kind of ominous presence?" Yumi asked him.
"Kyoto the human one was constructed using the principles of Yin and Yang or Feng Shui depending on what naming flavor you like. They used the balance principle like a large magic circle and because of that, there are many magical spots. Of those spots, Nijou Castle is the most chaotic spot right now."
"What will happen if this goes wrong?" Saji had to ask.
"Best case, humans get some bad vibes, worst case well you would think it was 1945 again. Considering they plan on using the Kyuubi who controls the ley lines in an experiment nothing good will come of it." He nodded his head "With that said The Sitri group with being protecting the immediate area of the Kyoto station and hotel. The hotel already has a barrier around it so it will be a fallback point. However, you will still be responsible for detaining anybody suspicious if they enter the area."
There was a collective nod from the girls as they understood the task at hand.
Azazel looked over to the rest of them to no surprise. "And so it comes to the Gremory group and Irina. You seem to be getting the short end of the straw. Long story short go to Nijou Castle and deal with the problem. Rescue Yasaka and pull out asap, there's still a chance this is a bluff and Cao Cao has other plans. But it is Cao Cao and the namesake so far is true. Whatever you do just don't get caught up in his plans."
"So we didn't see what happened earlier but do we have any backup?" Murayama asked him still out of the clue on the real power dynamic.
"I've enlisted the help of an anti-terrorist team for this. So far most of their works are done behind the scenes or on other battlefields."
"Just who are they?" Yumi asked as she hadn't heard of anybody like that so far.
"They're strong enough, but if we have to use them we are screwed already." He reached into his jacket and pulled out three vials "On another note the bad news. We only have three vias of Pheonix tears."
"THat's not enough for an operation like this." Saji's complaints were valid who knows what could happen.
"Yes, I know. But the Khaos brigade is causing issues everywhere and the tears are in high demand. These things are not easy to mass produce so there is a smaller supply in general, rumor is it's all hands-on station for production that even some of the elders are working to fill in the production gaps. It's getting so bad that even the Rating games will be affected by the lack of tears. However, there's a little secret between the factions right now. But we're looking for wielders of the Twilight Healing we can. It's a rare sacred gear but there are more common variants that are specialized. And anything that we can deny the Khaos Brigade is a huge plus for us. Ajuka Beelzebub is researching how to find them and Asia has been assisting in the research."
Issei put his hand on Asia's head and rubbed her head. The fact that she was working to improve herself was always worth some praise. "Speaking of Sacred gear" Issei spoke up as he held his left hand up as a blue orb formed "Do you know what this is Azazel?"
"No?" He asked looking at it as it held no resemblance to anything in particular.
"Well, I can't say I'm surprised." Issei spun it on his finger as it disappeared "What I know is your dad is an asshole." He got looks from the church girls as he said that "Elsha gave this to me and she and Belzard left."
Now those names he understands quite well. "They were alive?"
"If you call that alive then sure."
"What of the Drive?"
"It's dead and has been for a while."
Azazel nodded nearing that "That's good to hear then at least somebody has broken it."
"The chant has some questionable lines in it that would be relevant to the current times." He looked at the others "Right forgot you don't know what this is. It's a cursed chant given to some Longinus that unleashes its power at the price of the host. I who am about to awaken, Am the Heavenly Dragon who has stolen the principles of domination from God I laugh at the "infinite", and I grieve at the "dream" I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination And I shall sink you to the depths of the crimson purgatory." He spoke out.
"That's creepy as hell" Saji said listing to it.
"Yep why would I laugh at the infinite or grieve for the dream. I have no reason to laugh at Ophis or cry for Great Red. But just now this week Cao Cao is preparing an experiment with the ley lines and everyone has left to the afterlife. There has to be some coincidence in that."
"We can talk about that part after it the fact. We have work to do." Hearing that from Azazel everyone stood up getting ready to leave "Oh Saji" He called out to the boy "You will be going with the Gremory team."
"Me? Because of Vritra?" He was pointing at himself
Azazel nodded as Saji nailed it perfectly "Yes the dragon king state will be extremely useful in sealing movements and sapping away their energy. Do the same thing as you did with Loki and it will be fine. And just have Issei punch you if needed." He put his hand on Saji's shoulder "You'll be fine."
"Are the other faction aware of what's going on right now?" Irina asked
"Yep yep!" Serafall said with a smile "Outside Kyoto, there is a large number of devils, fallen, angels, and plenty of youkai watching the border. And they're waiting to capture them when they flee." He raised her arm as her staff appeared "And I will be directing the forces outside as well."
"Ho le shit" They heard from Issei "She's doing work." As he finished the moment his mouth closed her staff came down on his head.
"Not funny, I even got Sona and Tsubaki to help out as well."
He raised an eye to that as he was rubbing his head "Then Rias must know about this."
"Not exactly," Azazel said shaking his hand "There are enough problems in the Gremory territory right now. There are reports of riots in some cities within the Gremory territory. So they have been dealing with that. It sounds like everything is being orchestrated by the Khaos Brigade as they riled up the Old Maou supporters to cause problems. So along with them, Grayfia has taken to the stage so I don't expect them to last long. I've also heard rumors that even the current even the Lady of the house has been working on dealing with the rioters." Azael shook his head at that knowing they were screwed.
"Oh yes Venelana the Flaxen-haired Madame of Extinction, if you have pissed her off then you are screwed. The Silver-haired Queen of Annihilation and the Crimson-haired Princess. I know we devils have titles for people but there's generally a reason as to why those people have them.
Azazel looked over at Issei "You know you're screwed right?"
"I'm well aware."
"Anyways" He clapped his hands as the map faded away "Off you all go, it's time we get this party started. Oh and try not to die after all this is still a school trip."
As they were leaving Issei looked at Rossweisse "You doing okay?" He asked her as she still looked a little woozy.
"I'll be" He covered her mouth and ran over to the bathroom.
Azazel was laughing at the sight of "Vomiting Valkyrie."
"Ohhh that's a good one. I do have a question tho. How different is this Cao Cao from the one in History?"
"Outside of their physical capabilities, not much different. Willing to sacrifice the innocent to achieve one goal whether it be righteous or evil. Father gave Sacred Gears to individuals for mankind's salvation. However, there are many who have abused that power."
"It's not as if we were abused as well. It seems as if nobody is perfect, who would have guessed." Walking outside Saji was being hyped up by Momo and Ruruko a lot more than the rest of the girls.
Once outside Xenovia had something in her hand that looked a little different from the rest of it. She handed it over to Issei as he saw the magical symbols covering the cloth. "This is the new and improved Durandal, Azazel had it expedited so it was ready for the battle."
"It looks interesting." He said as he handed her the blade back.
"It's unfortunate that I have to use it in real combat first but that fits my style." Xenovia said with a smile as she strapped it to her back.
"I'm curious to know if the blade is stronger, I guess we will see later." He said as there was a Saji suddenly stopped next to them.
"I'm so sorry, those girls like to talk so I can't help it." He said trying to apologize to them.
"It's fine, let's go to the bus stop."
Making their way to the bus stop the girls had on extra clothes for the cold of the night but underneath Xenovia and Irina's they had on the combat suit of the church. Rossweisse wasn't doing any better but she wasn't getting worse as they waited. Issei was going to make a note that they needed to keep the liquor away from here at all costs. As they waited Issei could smell something as he held his arm out as soon covered in a little blonde girl in priestess clothes. "I'm coming along." Kunou said to them.
"You should be at home." Issei told her as she hit him on the arm as she dropped to the floor.
"I want to rescue my mother. Wait how did you know I was here?"
"You don't smell like they do. You do understand that it's going to be extremely dangerous. The Magical girl and the Old Fallen did tell you that already?"
"Yes yes" She hit his arm again "But I want to save mother." Issei's decision didn't matter as around them a purple fog engulfed them as they were hit by Dimension lost. As the fog dissipated they were nowhere near where they just were. Looking around Issei only had Kunou with him and stairs going downward. He saw that there was a placard that read Kyoto Subway station. "But we were just at a bus stop, now we're at the subway entrance.
Issei's phone rang as he answered it "yeah"
"It seems as if it happened again."
"Yes it seems so, I'm more surprised that our phones work. Where are you?"
"Kyoto Imperial Palace, I have Rossweisse and Saji. What about you?" He asked as he looked around to see that he was blocked in on all sides with only one way to go, down.
"I have Kunou and were at the Kyoto subway." Issei said as the two of them made their way down into the subway. Once down they looked at one of the maps of the area. "Where do you wanna meet?"
"The Castle would be the easiest point." Kunou pointed at the location on the map showing that they were far away.
"Right I can do that, I'm pretty far out but the subway will take me right there. Get ahold of the others and tell them to get there asap."
"See if you can call Azazel and tell them what happened. We need to start moving." She hung up the phone.
Scrolling in the contact he called Azazel only to get a busy signal confirming that they were on their own and Issei was the one in charge of all this. So the two of them walked down to the subway platform. As they got further down into the subway Issei donned his armor "It will be faster this way, as I doubt the trains will be working here." Kunou this time was about to look at it and touch the metal as if she was one of the fans of the show, maybe she pirated the show who knows but it was a universal thing that the children loved to see.
When they got to the platform a man was stating there wearing the same kind of outfit Cao Cao had on without the Chinese clothing to it dressed in all black with dark sunglasses on. "Good evening Red Dragon Emperor, Do you remember me?"
Issei cocked his head to the side " If I saw someone that ugly I think I would remember, so I can't say I do."
"Considering how low on the ranking I am compared to you, I can't say I'm surprised that you would even remember me." Around him, the shadow moved like a heatwave.
"Ohhhh the shadow user from a while ago."
"Yes," He smiled hearing that "I was defeated then but now it is much different. I am on a whole new level. One that I can fight a level beyond you." The shadows in the area moved as they all raced towards him "Balance break" His body was swallowed by the shadows as it was like a pool of tar for a moment as they formed a rigid armor around him. "This is my Balance breaker of Night Reflection Death Cross." While the armor was rigid it was still made of shadows as it moved all along his body.
Issei took his left hand and stuck it behind his back and held out three fingers for Kunou as three little flames were coming out of his fingertips. First, there was a typical reddish-orange and then it got progressively darker. "Pick one" He asked her.
"Ummmm" She went the conservative route and tapped his middle finger. "That one"
"Good choice," Issei said as he crouched down "Hop on" She did just that as Issei stood back up and looked at the man. "You see uhhhhhhhhhh…" Issei thought about it for a moment "I'm sorry did you ever say your name because I don't remember you saying it before?"
"It's Connla."
"Right thanks, So Connla do you take me for an Idiot?" Issei asked as he looked confused at the idea of it. "No seriously, a shadow user fighting me. I'm an expert in hand-to-hand combat and wield highly destructive energy. Things that as a shadow user you can bypass."
Kunou tapped on his helmet "That's a bad thing right?"
"I'm getting there." He said to her as he focused back on Connla. "My fist will bypass you, my energy attacks will bypass your attacks. But did you forget I'm a dragon?" Issei breathed it as his wings shot out and wrapped around his back protecting Kunou.
Deep red flames belched out of his mouth as they flooded the room. The sprinkler system was set off instantly from the heat but it didn't matter as the water evaporated and a haze of steam formed. While Connla was protected from physical attacks he was never safe from the heat as they heard his screaming as the heat was the true killer. "Bastard" Was the only thing they heard over the screaming.
Once the screaming stopped the flames disappeared showing that what was once a nice subway area was nothing but burred concrete, tile, and plastics all around. It smelled awful as they saw that Connla was standing but in no condition to fight as his shadow armor was broken and part of his skin was burned. "You're too strong."
"Yeah, that tends to happen when you have a goal." Issei said as he walked towards him "You're an idiot for following Cao Cao, whether that be brainwashing or willingly. Proving your power through means of destruction and chaos will only get you killed. Your experiment if possible could only spread destruction to the earth if you're doing what I think you are thinking of."
"You are aware of the tragedy…"
"NONE OF US LIVE HAPPY LIVES" Issei shouted "I know full well of our curse upon us. Yet here you are thinking that you're making it better, only making it worse for the rest of us. Cao Cao's stupidity has only set back the progress that we have made, proving you are the strongest human means nothing if it causes the supernatural to hunt us down." Issei didn't care if he had more to say as he extended his wings and flew down the rail line off to the stop that was agreed upon.
When they reached their stop Issei rocketed out of the subway exit and up into the air as he fell back down and saw that there were others around. As they landed he saw that everyone was gathered around waiting for them. Rossweise however was another story as she was off to the side puking her guts out clad in her valkyrie armor. "Seems you all are here and with no issues, well aside from her."
"It was a short walk here but other than that we are all fine." Yumi said as all of the other girls agreed. "We were only about a train stop away at most."
"How nice of them. I was on the other side of town, and I had to with that shadow user." He looked over at Rossweisse "You doing alright over there?" She raised her hand showing that she was doing alright. "Man we got to get her a magic spell to fix that."
"We should get going. They're bound to be somewhere in Nijou castle." Xenovia said it was agreed upon. Heading into the castle the gates opened for them as if they were expected.
Lights turned on illuminating the castle "Well it seems as if you all made it here for tonight's entertainment." Cao Cao appeared on top of a building as he was propping up a busty blonde woman.
"She does look good." Issei said quietly to himself. Kunou didn't hear any of that as she was too busy being mad at Cao Cao. It soon turned into a howling noise as Yasaka's body began to change. It morphed from human as she grew size as a massive nine-tailed fox hovered over them. The fur color was no different from her blonde hair as the massive fox just stared off into the distance. "So Cao Cao what do you gain from all of this?"
"It's simple, using her as a conduit for the Kyoto ley lines we plan on summoning Great Red to our dimension here. Using the Dragon gates of the Dragon Kings would be almost impossible for God's and buddha's to pull off."
Hearing that everyone was dumbfounded at what their goal was. "One your insane, two if you even tried that Tiamat would most likely kill you. Three, Great Red swims around in the gap doing nothing. And four even if you could summon him you know he could just ignore it let alone just kill you for even attempting such stupidity for your boss…"
Issei didn't get to finish talking as a massive white wave of energy flew past him. It tore apart the buildings causing a shockwave as dust and dirt were sent everywhere and a massive crater in the center. "Eliminating them seemed like the best solution." Xenovia said as Yumi nodded in agreement.
When he turned around he saw Xenovia with a big smile on her face "And here I thought I was the catalyst for helping you get off." He rocked his right hand back and forth like the act of masturbation.
"I'm going to die here tonight fighting crazy people" Saji came to a realization that nothing involving them was going to be normal.
"But you get to have a giant monster battle with the hot fox momma. That's got to account for something."
"Your right." He said as black snakes formed around him "It's better than fighting Cao Cao. Lend me your strength Vritra. Tonight we can fight."
{Ah yes, a fight.} They could hear a deep voice as Saji was surrounded by black flames and snakes. {The Holy Spear, or that fox? I'm ready for anything so let us consume everything.}
"Deal with the fox, we need her alive Vritra." Issei said as he could see some other people appearing near Cao Cao.
Xenovia however was rubbing her blade "I've been thinking about it, I'm calling this Ex Durandal."
Cao Cao tapped his spear on the group "Pick your targets and enjoy tonight. All while Georg prepares the summoning ." He said to his group of misfits as a man in a robe well behind all of them shot out a wall of different types of magic circles.
Rossweisse took note of what they just witnessed "I see all types of magic, Norse, Demonic, The Fallen's, Black, white, fairy, maybe Hindu. It's an impressive array of spells to be cast all at once."
"Cao Cao this is going to take some time and plenty of concentration." Georg said as each of the circles started to turn and activate.
"It's fine, Leonardo is outside playing with the others." Cao Cao looked to the others. "Well, Jeanne who do you want first?" He asked a blonde girl wearing a large orange armor over what looked to be a school uniform.
She smiled at that "I'll take the little angel. She looks cute, so that needs to change."
"Right" Cao Cao looked over at the large brutish man "Well Heracles it seems as if you got the short end of the straw as Seig wants the Durandal and the Holy Demonic Sword."
"That's fine" He punched his fists together "I'll take the sick silver one."
The battle was laid out for what was to come. "Right, Katase go with Irina and Murayama with Rossweisse. Saji gets the kick-ass monster battle, and Yumi and Xenovia get the crazy one with the sword. Kunou stays with Asia and you will be fine." He snapped his fingers as the six of them disappeared and Saji morphed into a giant black eastern dragon that went off to battle Yasaka.
Cao Cao smiled now that everyone else had gone off to battle. "How much stronger than Vali are you?"
Issei could only shrug at it "Don't know, are you stronger than him?"
"Who knows, I'm just a frail human."
Issei laughed at that "Frail my ass, you fought Azazel in a teaser match and you're not dead."
They heard Howling and Roar from the giant monster battle above as black flames rained down everywhere. Issei watched on as Yumi and Xenovia traded blows with Siegfried as sparks of silver. Seeing that they were one blade down in the battle Xenovia reached onto the golden sheath of her Ex Durandal and pulled out a familiar sword. She changed her stance holding Durandal in her right and Excaliber Destruction in her left. Siegfried laughed at the challenge "Balance Break" As he said that four arms popped out and reached into his coat grabbing his blades. Out came a standard issues light sword issued by the church, A large black and purple sword with a dragon scale hilt, and a Black and green sword that glowed green. "Dainsleif, Tyrfing, and your standard-issue church sword. All courtesy of my Balance breaker Chaos Edge Asura's Ravage, a subspecies of the twice critical." He laughed at what was to come "Let's see how far you can go."
Irina and Katase were flying around as Irina was throwing Spears of light at Jeanne while Katase was slinging fire around. "You two aren't bad." Jeanne was easily able to dodge their attacks as she was fast but not faster than Yumi. She smiled as Irina flew down towards melee range and took a quick swing at her. Jeanne was able to deflect her attack with ease without moving. Katase moved in from behind getting ready to attack her from behind as she tapped her right foot and a Holy sword went flying at each one of them. "Nice try you two but it's going to take more than that."
"I am an Ace of Micheal, Leader of the Angels. I will not be underestimated."
"Awwwww Your feathers are ruffled already." She smiled at Irina. "Guess I can show you what it's all about. All the Holy swords you can fathom. Balance breaker." Underneath her feet, a silver platform was created as she was lifted while a sea of swords appeared on the ground. It was no different from how Yumi did it but the blades moved around as they started collecting in a spot as they formed a dragon. "This is my balance breaker, Stake Victim Dragon."
"Fighting the maid of Orléans as an angel is no easy thing. But I will do it for Lord Michael." Irina looked over at Katase "Plan 2"
Rossweisse and Murayama were having a much different time as their opponent Heracles was more like Issei than they expected him. Rossweisse could pelt him with her array of magic and he would just shrug it off and Murayama's attacks did little to nothing. Heracles laughed in the face of their attacks as while he took most of them head-on some of them he punched the others creating explosions with just his fists.
"Tiny cuts that's it!" Murayama wasn't happy to see that's all they could muster up.
"My Sacred Gear is Variant Detonation, It makes things explode when I attack. So I can smash your attacks into a fireworks show. But… Balance Break." Thick metal shoulder pads appeared along with glove coverings with rounded-looking spikes appeared around him. "This is my Balance Bearekr Mighty Comet Detonation." He pointed at Rossweisse as she took the hint real quick as those spikes fired off his body as if they were missiles and she was doing her best to avoid them. It soon turned into them dodging missiles and throwing attacks around to detonate them. Unfortunately, the two of them were not able to destroy everything and were eventually hit with some attacks.
Issei was watching all of this "Asia you might want to get to work." he told her as a green aura flowed across the floor and over to the two of them.
Cao Cao smiled at the situation "Isn't this great?" He asked seeing the fighting all around "Balance Breakers with some inflation so the human can compete with the supernatural."
"Yes, human as you say, with the souls of heroes of the past granted power from gods. Keep calling yourself humans." Issei could only laugh at the thought of how they thought they were fully human. "So Cao Cao are you going to use your Balance Breaker like your associates?"
"I don't think I need to. We can win without going that far. I want to see how far your powers go."
Issei wanted to push his head through a green screen "Are you sure about that?"
Cao Cao tapped his spear on his shoulder "We have thought of some ways to defeat you. Time dilation would be one-way to force your armor to dissipate. And we already have a user who specializes against sacred gears with a time limit. So it's only a matter of time in finding out how long that limit is and then attack you with a decisive blow. Even then that might not be enough to get rid of you. What if you were to double your power in that time while accelerated? We think something like you would become a horrifying existence that is capable of generating power instantly or possible under math terms divided by zero not knowing the outcome." Issei chuckled hearing Cao Cao knew the basics but not everything that there was about the Boosted Gear. "In the end, we calculated that direct attacks were the best way to deal with you." Cao Cao's spear rolled off his shoulder and was ready for battle. "Enough talk, let us begin,"
Issei pointed his index finger at Cao Cao as a red ball appeared and rocketed away. Cao Cao quickly used the tip of his spear to deflect the attack pointing his spear up and that gave Issei the opening as he closed the gap in less than a blink and punched Cao Cao's spear making him slide back. He did it once again but this time Cao Cao was ready for it as she swung his spear hitting Issei's armor. Issei could feel that the spear hit his armor. "It seems as if you have lost."
"Once again are you sure about that?" Issei asked as there was an explosion as light energy detonated as he finished. Cao Cao was quick to pull away as he was not going to get caught in the blast. As the smoke cleared Issei had to ask something of Cao Cao "You know so much of me, yet you try to use light attacks on me? Did you not think that I have built up a slight immunity to light-based attacks."
"Interesting, I can see why Vali likes you so much." Cao Cao flicked his fingers up telling him to come.

He held his full hand out as a large orb of energy flew towards Cao Cao. This time he swung his spear up slicing through the energy and sending it off in two directions as he leaped into the air predicting the incoming fist. He was right to avoid the attacks as Issei followed up with a kick as Cao Cao had to use the shaft of the spear to block his attacks. "Such devastation and potential."
Cao Cao tried to make some distance between the two of them but Issei charged after him flooding his left hand with energy and when he got close enough he swiped his left arm up as Ascalon fired out of his gauntlet. There was no snagging on flesh or bones as he cut clean through the shoulder with no blood splurting out. "Frail human body." Issei said as he watched Cao Cao's arm fly up into the air as he threw his spear up into the air to retrieve it as backed away from him.
Cao Cao's one free hand reached into his pocket and pulled out a Vial that looked stupidly familiar. The Lance returned to Cao Cao and deposited his arm where he dropped the liquid on it and reattached it. "Well, I wasn't expecting you of all people have a Phoenix Tear."
"The devil's most sought-after item. If anything the Americans have taught us anything it's that money makes the world go round depending on how you spend it. And there's a black market for everything you can want. Drugs, weapons, and even medical items. But we can both guess the Phoenix family does not want these in our hands."
"Cao Cao" They heard Jeanne call out as they saw her carrying two bloody bodies with her. "It seems as if I ran out of fun."
"No, I want to fight the Red Dragon next." Seig said as he was holding onto Xenovia and Yumi.
"Seriously?" Issei asked seeing them.
"Nope, I'm first Seigfried." Heracles said as he tossed Rossweisse and Murayama.
Saji was fairing no better as he wasn't dead but the power of a super-powered fox was overpowering him. "It seems as if your friends have fallen and your plans have been laid to waste. Resistance is only natural that we humans would fight the supernatural. That's our main goal with all of this." He looked back toward Georg "How's that magic circle coming along."
"It's coming along, but I'm still not sure if Great Red will come."
"Even if he doesn't Data is still Data after all."
Issei tapped his right foot on the ground as green bubbles appeared around his fallen comrades as he pulled them over to him. They landed in front of Asia as she was crying seeing the wounds on all of them. Kunou was no better as she had just seen most of the people who said they would help her are not seriously injured. "Asia get to work as will I." He stepped forward as around his armor a crimson aura shimmered "Ddraig it's time to show these children what it's like to play with the power that makes gods shit themselves."

Over Issei's shoulder appeared large cannons, the light of the area was dyed green as energy formed in them radiated off. "That looks dangerous" Cao Cao said seeing them draw in as much energy as they could. Issei pointed at the group of them "Die" was all he said as the cannons launched the energy. The ground tore apart as the energy moved ever closer to them.
Heracles jumped in front of them as he put up a guard "I will defend against such an attack.
Cao Cao however was much smarter than the meathead "GET OUT OF THE WAY." He shouted as he knocked him away as they lept away from the blast.
As the energy passed them it detonated as the dimension shook and the sky turned into a tv static look for a moment. The shockwave destroyed the city as it was all rubble and where the energy passed over the rock was turned to a molten state as it was melting away making a small stream of lava as it cooled. As they looked around Heracles understood what was happening "The city is gone, if this keeps up the dimension will be as well."
"Yes, the meathead understands it." Issei said as the cannons disappeared "Dimension Lost was never a threat that's why we humored you earlier. If we wanted to Azazel and I could have broken out but we played your game to see what was happening. As for you Cao Cao, do you like this? Did you know that I had extra power that I could tap that leads to a second transformation? What it is even I don't know, I've been looking at it for years wondering how do I access it. Want to see more of it?" Issei started running towards him at a normal human pace as it picked up to the point that he was already in front of him as the two of them collide grabbing ahold of the spear. "I take it as you have no objections to that idea?"
He ripped the spear out of Cao Cao's hands as his hand glowed white and then stabbed the pommel into the ground. When he spoke it was not what frightened them it was that they couldn't understand what Issei was saying. Some of the others had recovered and watched what was happening and even for Devils, they had a hard time understanding what Issei was saying. "Yes, that's right I'm talking to you." Issei said looking at the spear.
The tip opened up like a flower and a voice could be heard as it had a soft touch to the male voice "You speak Babelen?"
Issei laughed at that as his words changed back to "Enough to get your notice. Your sister sends her regards after all this time."
"I have many brothers and sisters across the land."
"Gabriel"
"Ahhh yes her, it's been quite some time. Why have you drawn me out."
Issei pointed up "A request for Gabriel, to see if you're still functioning after all these years."
"Yes, I am. It has been quite some time, however."
"It's been over two thousand years. And your Father or yourself creation thing is also dead. I don't know how you see that. Your book was way too confusing on that topic."
"Father is dead? How is that so?"
Issei shrugged his shoulders "Was kinda hoping you knew more as your basically the same being. That and you return to the system upon host death maybe something would have been told."
"I can tell you are lying to me, child."
"Your right I am, half-truths and whole lies. We know how he died turns out getting into a dick-waving contest with an army of Devils and two Heavenly Dragons is a bad idea for everyone. Ddraig told me it was wild but Lucifer, Leviathan, Beelzebub, and Asmodeus were all killed in the battles that lead up to it or in it as well. And their children took a dirt nap about 600 years or so ago after starting a civil war. In the end, we know how he died not why he died."
"Yes, that is an issue then. As for why I cannot answer that for you. I was unaware of that until you told me."
Issei picked the spear up out of the ground and walked away with it. The Hero Faction was just two dumbfounded at what they saw as they watched him go to the top of the crater "It talks" Jeanne asked Cao Cao.
"Cao Cao it's ready!" Georg shouted as this little chat bough him some valuable time.
At the top of the hill, Issei was finishing up his little talk as he could feel the spear wanting to pull itself back. "Well, it's been a great little talk, Gabby is going to want to know so much of this. It's rather unfortunate that you are stuck with this band of misfits right now. Call me in a hundred years or so, I can take you to her once your stint with this guy is over." He let go of the spear as it teleported out of his hands and into Cao Cao returning to its normal spear form.
"Cao Cao we fucked up!" Georg shouted as the dragon gate in the sky was not producing the results they were expecting.
"Get the Dragon..." Cao Cao said as he looked up seeing into the gate "Oh that's not Great Red. Out of the gate, a massive green eastern dragon came out that was larger than they expected "It's Yu Long!" He shouted as they were panicking.
On top of the dragon, there was a small figure that jumped off as it was in a free fall as it landed next to Issei. It was a smaller man with a pipe in his mouth and a staff in his hand. "It seems as if the area is in disarray." He looked up to Issei "I take it this is your handy work."
"I don't do the ki thing so I can't tell you an answer." Issei looked at the brown fur as well as the golden parts as well it was almost as if he looked like a monkey.
"It seems as if the Holy Spear user has finally grown up."
Cao Cao smiled at that "Sending the Victorious Fighting Buddha is not something we expected to come us personally. After all, you have been thwarting our plans."
"Your pranks have gone too far. I had to jump through enough hoops to talk to the Kyuubi on behalf of the Heavenly Emperor and then you ruined everything. Heroes like you are nothing but a poison that brings about a plague."
"Poison?" Cao Cao was happy to hear that "Such an honor to be called that by you."
"Who's this old man?" Katase asked as they were all still sitting on the ground not sure of what was going on.
"My guess is Sun Wukong the first one." Yumi said to her as they saw Issei turn around and give a thumbs up.
Sun Wukong looked up at Issei "You have done enough work for now. We are the reinforcements so leave everything to us. Yulong deal with the Kyuubi."
"Look Vritra is having the fun right now so don't order me around."
[That sounds like Yu Long.]
"Okay how about this, you can have all the food you want" Sun Wukong brokered a deal that no dragon could pass up.
"You had best hold up your end of that." Yu Long flew over to Yasaka as the two of them started to fight.
Siegfried was far from the brightest person in the group as he made his way toward Sun Wukong "Siegfried don't…" It didn't matter as he ran in with all his swords drawn.
"Extend" Was the only thing Sun Wukong said as his staff grew in length as it hit Siegfried throwing him aside as he tumbled around on the floor all bent out of shape. "You should try jogging young man, helps build character."
"Bind" Georg shouted as purple rings appeared around Sun Wukong.
Issei looked at the rings wondering how they were so dumb "I know you are stronger than me, and they were scared when I tore this dimension apart."
Sun Wukong exhaled some of the smoke from his pipe as it turned into a laser beam of sorts cutting through Georg's mist setting him free. "They are not the brightest of children." He looked over at them "You should talk to your sacred gears like Red Dragon here."
"Oh yeah, I kinda just spoiled that Jesus was in the lance." Issei said to Sun Wukong.
"Ah, so that truth is out then." He lifted his index finger as the blade of the Lance rocketed towards him and he stopped it with just his finger. "You have much work to do, you are still far too young and weak, making it for you to kill gods and buddhas. Try harder next time you want to damage somebody like me."
"I see you still have that monstrous strength that we have heard about."
"Cao Cao" Siegfried called out to him as he picked himself up "We have to leave. I just got beat with one hit this isn't a fight we can win.'
Cao Cao tapped his spear on the ground "Time for a retreat then." They all jumped to Georg's location as the mist swirled around them and a magic circle at their feet. "Let's call it a night shall we? Until next time farewell."
Issei held his hand out as energy formed in it "Well now, doing my work. Fine by me." Sun Wukong tapped his staff on Issei's hand as the energy gained density
"Have a going away gift from me Cao Cao." The attack flew from his hand and at them. Heracles and Jeanne created a wall in front of them getting ready to shield the others from the attack. Issei flicked his finger up and then down as the energy avoided Heracles passing by his head and then skirting past Jeanne in the same way. It picked up speed as it smacked Cao Cao in the face ricocheting off him and into the distance where it exploded tearing more into the dimension.
Cao Cao's hand was covered in blood as he was covering his eye. "MY EYE!" His hand dug into the spear as he pushed on it "O Spear. The true Holy Spear which pierces through God. Suck the ambition of the King of Domination"
Siegfried's hands came over Cao Cao's mouth stopping him from speaking any further "It's too soon for that. We have to retreat otherwise everyone will be upon us and everything will before nothing." There was nothing but silence as they disappeared leaving Yu Long the victor in the monster battle.
They were still in the dimension as the chaos had subsided. Saji was getting healed by Asia and Issei stood in front of them "You all look like shit. I wasn't expecting Yumi and Xenovia to win in a fight against a guy with six swords. But the rest of you are going to need some more work with that Rating game coming up."
"Mother! Mother!" They heard Kunou hugging the large fox head waiting for something to happen.
Sun Wukong looked at the situation as he puffed his pipe "What should be done about this? I can remove the negative ki through the use of Senjutsu but that would take some time." The thought hit him as he looked at Issei "But you have the power to talk to women's breasts. If you make contact with her it could pause the flow of negative ki and pull her out of this so she could regulate it herself."
"I was once a part of a miracle like that. Better yet how did you know about that?"
"Good enough get to work" The old monkey man nudged Issei over to Yasaka with his staff.
Once in front of her Issei put his hand on the giant fox's head. "Oh, boobie speak to me" Issei didn't know what to say as he just pulled something out "anything?" He asked as the space around him changed to a white void "Oh okay so it does work." He looked at Kunou "Eh what's the worse that can happen." He put his hand on Kunou's shoulder "Boobies from beyond tell me your secrets." On Issei's left hand where the gem on his gauntlet glowed. Sun Wukong tapped his staff on the floor as the energy in the area was generating positive energy.
"Mommy, can you hear me?" Issei heard Kunou's voice but she did open her mouth. "Please come back, I don't want to be alone. "I promise I'll be a good girl."
"Ku….nou." They heard a faint voice.
Kunou was jumping up and down while holding onto her head "Mommy Mommy, I'm here. I want to see you again. So we can go back home."
Yasaka's body flashed as it was wrapped in white light as her body started to shrink and change to a human form. Issei saw that she was in a yellow yukata that left nothing of her breasts up to the imagination with a little bit of black and red to go with the yellow. "Where am" Kunou was quick to tackle her as she was rubbing her forehead. "Oh Kunou" She said seeing her daughter always the cry baby."
Azazel's team made it into the barrier with medics "Get to work and examine them thoroughly. They look like they had a hell of a time." He barked orders as he went over to Issei as they saw Asia was passed out from all the work. "So what happened."
"Well everyone lost in a two-on-one to Jeanne host of the maid of Orléans, Siegfried apparently can sprout four arms via his balance breaker so he becomes a slashing machine and Heracles can fire missiles with his Sacred Gear. The Hero Faction also has dipped into the supply chain of Pheonix tears." Azazel was surprised to hear that part. "Yeah I cut off Cao Cao's arm and he reattached it. He fell for the ole energy blade extension."
"Ah, a classic." Azazel smiled at that one "It's disconcerting to hear that they have access to the tears."
"Right, my guess is they bribed a distributor because I doubt they have just one or two. They probably have a few pallets of these things."
"I'll have to bring that up with Sirzechs and see what can be done to investigate immediately. Did you have to do anything for Saji?"
"No, it seems as if the two of them are starting to gel with each other."
"That's good to hear, you might want to head out with the others. Tomorrow is going to be busy for everyone."
Azazel wasn't wrong about what was to come. The next morning while they were tired from the last night's events it was a mad rush to see the last of the sights on the trip and get the souvenirs they wanted. Issei had to run around looking for a shop that sold a certain type of pickles but getting the large jar was worth the joke in the end. At the train station when they were getting ready to leave they were escorted there by Serafall, Yasaka, and Kunou. "Red Dragon Emperor." Kunou called out to him as she was holding onto her mother's hand.
"Issei is fine." Hearing that Kunou had a blush on her face.
"Are you coming back to Kyoto anytime?"
"Depending on how things are going we should be able to do it sooner rather than later."
Yasaka smiled seeing how Kunou was dead set on getting him back to Kyoto. "Yes please do come back sometime. On your next trip, we can give you a tour of the other side." Yasaka looked to the others. "I must apologize for causing you such trouble on your trip. But the Leviathan and I will be talking things over. We can obtain cooperation after all of this."
"Well then hearing that I think we can leave the rest of this up to you." Azazel said to Yasaka as they headed off to catch the train to head back home.
As they waved goodbye and the doors Yasaka had to pick Serafall's brain. "So is he that person I've heard of from the other regents?"
"Depends on what you have heard but it's most likely true."
"I see." Yaska smiled hearing that "Lady Amaterasu of all people."
Serafall laughed at it "I'm surprised he didn't ask to see your breasts or something."
"So he's…" She stopped "We can talk about that later."
Once they got home hell was about to be paid as they were soon met by Rias Akeno and Koneko, Gasper was there as well but not as one of the girls. They didn't look too happy as they gave mainly Issei the stink eye "What?" He asked them as Rossweisse quickly scurried off to her room and soon passed out.
"Why didn't you tell me about all this? Does Sona know about what happened? Did you know we had to do all the work when all of you were missing?" Rias was interrogating Issei like a hawk.
"Yes, yes, and yes." He answered her. "Look I don't know what answer you are looking for, because even if I tell you the truth it feels like you're going to be mad at me for this. It wasn't just something where we could just call you up as you were already busy."
"You said you would discuss things with us." Akeno said trying to counter her point.
"And we did, albeit for a short time." Issei told her as he hand ammo for the arguments.
"At least everyone came back safe."
Issei pointed at Gasper "See he gets it. Everything was fine, I even had work to do because of it."
Azazel smiled hearing all of this and threw a forest into the inferno "What about the Kyuubi's daughter?"
"Screw you old man, I'm not into children." His words didn't matter much as he could feel the knife that was being sharpened for him.
"Yeah but her mom has huge tits, like 150cm easy. Surely the daughter would be similar no?" Rias, Akeno, and Koneko were glaring daggers at him hearing that, just another woman to add to the list. Koneko threw a right hook at him as he caught it. "Just cut them some slack. Nothing bad happened while they were out."
Rias sighed shaking her head "It's just…" She had a hard time putting her words together with how she felt about this.
"At this Rate between Issei's show and Kunou, he's going to be surrounded by kids rather than a harem."
Issei looked over at Xenovia. "It still isn't funny."
"Oh, that's right." Azazel said thinking of something. "The daughter of the Phoenix house is going to be transferring here soon." Outside of Rias, Akeno and Koneko everyone was surprised to hear that. "Seems as if she is going to be following the example set by Rias and Sona. Formalities are already dealt with and she is set to join as a first-year."
"Whatever" Koneko said as she was seriously unenthused.
Issei put his hand on her head and scratched it "Awww is the little kitty mad about the birdy." She quickly hit him this time making a connection.
"But why did she come so soon?" Xenovia asked him.
Azazel looked around wondering if Issei was going to answer "Okay so I have a guess why." He was getting looks from Rias, Akeno, and even Asia about this. "Do you believe in magic in a young girl's heart? Or the Love gun?" He was getting a cold response from Xenovia. "Okay, so she likes me."
"That was obvious no?" Xenovia asked as it was obvious to everyone.
He sighed hearing that "I can't be mad at you."
"Anyways I'll get all the details from my brother later. But we have the school festival and the match against Sairaorg coming up so we have plenty to prepare for."
