If you know the title of these story, you know that this will be a doozy. And this will be unique from my other stories about the Tarnished being transported to another world with their respective builds.

In this story, this Tarnished has become an Elden Lord which means he is an extremely overpowered, almost God-like warrior who now ruled the Lands Between with an army at his call.

But as the summary shows, he has a lot of work cut out for him and despite having a lot of power and skill and an army at his disposal, the Lands Between is far from repaired and problems that he doesn't know how to fix.

And being invaded is actually beneficial.

So, with that, let's begin the story, titled, 'And Thus the Elden Lord Fought There'.

Disclaimer: I do not own Elden Ring and Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There.

Enjoy.

Name: Asger Kirsten

Title: The Heroic Barbarian. The Elden Lord Commander. The Vessel of the Outer God of the Greater Will.

Appearance: Wears the full set of the Raging Wolf Armour while within the armour, Asger is a tall, muscular, slender and handsome man with long blonde hair and well-tone features.

Character Information: Once an axe-wielding barbarian of a Hero, now have ascended from a mere Tarnished to a mighty and powerful Elden Lord, Asger, for all his now god-like power and mighty army that are now at his control, is hardly had his work cut of actually fixing the Lands Between.

With Marika still remaining comatose and even with an army at his command, he is still doesn't have the capabilities to actually fix the Lands Between of its myriad of problems and it also doesn't help that contact outside of the Lands Between is rendered null, making trading for additional resources to be insignificant.

However, when a Gate suddenly appeared in the Capital City of Leyndell and out came an invasion, Asger, now an Elden Lord, not only repelled against the invasion but also going on an Expedition to a new land where there might be a solution.

And when meeting Reedlander-like people who used advanced technology at their call, Asger seemed to think that the Gate is a blessing in disguise.

Powers and Abilities: From an axe-wielding barbarian Hero to an Elden Lord, Asger has become one of the most powerful Tarnished in the Lands Between after defeating Radagon and the Elden Beast and crowned as the Elden Lord of the Lands Between.

As such, not only is he the leader of his army but he is also their most powerful member yet, displaying incredible feets that makes other Tarnished having a long time to go and is also a capable leader, commander and fighter as he is power made in fruition.

Yet, while Asger is basically at the peak of power that makes him something of an ace amongst his army but he usually preferred to be overwhelmingly strong with peak physical senses and thought he can be more than capable of using any known Sorcery, Incantations and other weaponry, he preferred being strong, fast, cunning and durable above all else.

However, there are some Incantations that nonetheless fit his fancy:

• Beast Claw: An Incantation that allows Asger to conjure claw-like projectiles against his enemies.

• Bestial Constitution: An Incantation that grants Asger the ability to cure his blood loss and frost bite.

• Bestial Sling: An Incantation that grants Asger the ability to throw pellets of rocks at his foes at close range.

• Bestial Vitality: An Incantation that grants Asger an increased healing factor.

• Gurranq's Beast Claw: An Incantation that grants Asger the ability to make shockwaves around him.

• Stone of Gurranq: An Incantation that grants Asger to pull a rock from the ground and throw it at his enemies.

Weapons and Equipment: Asger Kirsten has gained a lot of weapons at his disposal and after becoming an Elden Lord, he does have the capabilities to use all of them including their powerful skills for Asger to use.

Despite this, Asger mainly used these weapons out of desperate situations and he still preferred what he had done before he became an Elden Lord.

His weapons include:

• The Greatsword: There is actually nothing special about this weapon other than it's big, heavy and only someone with such incredible strength could actually wield such a heavy and powerful weapon.

Even before he became an Elden Lord, Asger is more than capable of wielding this lump of iron on a handle with ease and he is so strong that it doesn't impede his speed and agility while also being more than capable of cleaving anyone into two with ease with the Greatsword.

• The Cinquedea: A dagger that is in a shape of a five fingered claw mark, this dagger not only boost the power of Asger's Bestial Incantation but can work in tandem with his Greatsword with its fast swings and faster ways to kill his enemies.

• The Clawmark Seal: The Sacred Seal that boost the power of Bestial Incantations that Asger was given by Gurranq.

• The Sacred Relic Sword: A sword that is formerly used by the Elden Beast, fashioned from the corpse of Radagon, this fleshy weapon is a powerful weapon that can shoot out a wave of gold light that can kill anyone in front of him.

• The Commander's Standard: A weapon that was formerly used by a certain Commander, this halberd with a flag around it's handle is not only a good weapon for horseback riding but also has the ability to boost the allies around him with increased damage.

• The Arbalest: A large crossbow made from composite materials, this large range weapon has a mechanism that makes it strong enough to pierced through even hardened armour and shields and with Asger's many bolts that can either poison, rot, freeze, sleep or just damage in general, it gets the job done.

Talismans: Because of the fact that he has become an Elden Lord, he has no further use for using Talismans as because he is already powerful by himself, he doesn't any assistance from such small items that will boost his already phenomenal power.

The Royal Army of the Lands Between: After being crowned Elden Lord, Asger has now gained an army all across the Lands Between that helps him in his job of maintaining order and reparation of the Lands Between after the Shattering.

Highly skilled, disciplined, trained and bolstered by a number of bestial creatures and other assortments that makes the Royal Army a force to be reckoned with, the Royal Army is barely a fraction of their strength after the aftermath and it is however fortunate and lucky that the Royal Army can still retain the strength needed to push back against an invasion and can be on par with a modern army.

The soldiers that makes up the Royal Army that Asger leads include:

• The Royal Lordsworn Soldiers: The backbone of the Royal Army of the Lands Between, they are supposedly ordinary man who make up the bulk of the army and while they are not magically gifted or supernaturally enhanced, they are still a force to be reckoned with through their training, weaponry and discipline.

Consisting of both the highly conspicuous uniformed man wearing brass helmet and coloured coat and the much weaker foot soldiers wearing chain-mail and a wide-brimmed hat, Asger had united different types of these soldiers to become his own Lordsworn such as the Redmanes, the Leyndell and the Haligtree with the exception of the Cuckoo and Godrick, making them a through force to be reckoned with and more than capable of keeping up with the JSDF, using their medieval weaponry, magic grenades and skills at their back and call.

The Royal Lordsworn Knights: The much elite and high ranking soldiers who wears lustrous and decorative armour and are far stronger, more skilled and more heavily armed than the Lordsworn Soldiers, they are the elite of the elite of the Royal Army, combining powerful training and martial prowess with both the skills and the Incantations at their disposal.

From being served as high ranking lieutenants or cavalry on horseback, these knights in shining armour are proven to not be underestimated as they combine discipline with bravery and power at their disposal.

• The Royal Wolves: They are unit that were tamed specifically to be served as the Royal Army's guard dogs and companions for their owners and while it comes across as impractical and a bit threatening over trying to tame wolves, they get the job done when they give their assistance through loyalty and the teeth and claws they used against their enemies.

• The Commoners: Unknown humanoid pale skinned, tall and slender servants and menial labourers of the Royal Army, on appearance, they are weak and pathetic and hardly capable fighters. And being underestimated is what makes them dangerous as through their assistance, they can still assist their more able-bodied allies with throwing bombs and manning war machines to assist their allies however they could.

• The Imps: The annoying, gargoyle-like statues that had once been a bane to Asger when he explored the dungeons and catacombs and now served as useful assassins that will stand like statues then kill their enemies with their weapons, combining massive numbers to swarm at their foes and make them bleed.

• The Demi-Humans: The once increasingly hostile and savage orc-like simian-looking tribals who attacked anyone with their primitive and violent tendencies, now they serve as another member of the Royal Army through the assistance of Kenneth Haight and while they are weak by themselves, they still prove to be useful for their ability to ambush their enemies by hiding as trees, their Chieftains being bigger and meaner, the little ones being capable assassins and their Queens being a force of strength and magic at their back and call.

• The Vulgar Militia: Tiny, diminutive creatures with pointed hats and carrying saws in hand, the Vulgar Militia are weak by themselves but are the foremost pragmatic assassins of the Royal Army, capable of blinding anyone with their tear gas-like grenades and ability to make their enemies bleed.

The stronger variations, however, can also cast a Bestial Incantation which makes this diminutive imp-like creatures to be a force to be reckoned with on their own.

• The Miners: Former people who have mined in the underground for so long that their bodies have become nothing but stone, the Miners are the Royal Armies' extractors of the Smithing Stones underground and are tireless servants that can get their job done.

Even then, they are proven to be useful in battle as their hard bodies can make capable as a moving mobile wall that will stop pursuing enemies from getting forward and can take the hit from any weapons, minus magic and blunt weapons, with ease.

• The Royal Battlemages: The foremost magical units of the Royal Army since Asger hasn't actually been capable of negotiating with the Academy Sorcerers to actually work with him, this magic users are physically strong and magically powerful, combining the crushing force of their clubs with the immense power of their magic such as their ability to fire a magic missile or summoning a hammer to crush their foes apart, piece by piece.

And as their purpose is to quell any ounce of chaos with violence, suffice to say that they make great enforcers of the law.

• The Royal Trolls: The massive, emaciated giants that had once been nothing but slaves to the Lordsworn, now they are the mightiest units in the Royal Army and were served more than just hulking brutes who know only to smash anything to pieces.

Being granted the respect they deserved by the Elden Lord, the Trolls has been granted a massive upgrade such as carrying massive gold swords to swing against their foes, hammers to crush anyone to paste, Incantations and Sorceries at their back and call and just being huge and hulking dangerous brutes that even those who doesn't have the benefit of equipments and powers are still more than capable of wiping out an army in one stomp.

• The Royal Golems: An automated, moving statues that were once created by a long dead civilization, they are used by the Royal Army as a powerful units that can crush anyone with their mighty halberds or giant bows and even without that, they do have the ability to spew molten lava from their chest to burn their foes to paste. While usually, attacking the knee will make them fall, every last one of them has been outfitted with an armoured bracer that prevents them from being knocked out.

• The Flame Chariots: A war machine with the visage of a mighty Fire Giant, this wheeled chariots that were piloted by someone is as dangerous as they are scary, capable of going in full speed and rammed at anyone with either their spikes or their flaming chutes that will burn anyone to cinders if they get in the way.

• The Living Jars: An army of animated jars that were made alive through the corpses inside them and are either small or large in scope, this Living Jars are not to be trifled as while the smaller ones are weaker, they can still give mighty punch while the larger ones are more durable, stronger and finally, more than capable of being faster, even capable of spinning that will plow anyone with their arms.

• The Royal Erdtree Avatars: A massive tree-like monsters spawned from the Erdtree that will act as their guardians, these monsters are also defenders of the city and durable, strong and dangerous behemoth that is capable of firing holy light that will shot against their foes and kill them in droves.

• The Royal Erdtree Guardians: Golden masked man carrying golden great spears who were also malformed into tree-like humanoids thought some do retain their human-like appearance, the Erdtree Guardians are more or less the back up warriors of the Erdtree Avatars and while far from strong or discipline like the Lordsworn Soldiers and Knights, they make up for it with fanatical devotion and sometimes poison as the more mutated ones stabbed themselves to secrete a poison mist.

• The Royal Erdtree Sentinels: Massive knights clad in golden armour who also rode a massive horse clad in golden armour, they are one of the mightiest of the Royal Army, combining the speed of a horse with the durability of their armour and the strength from their halberds and not only are they strong but they are insanely so and their golden round shields are more than capable of retaliating any form of magical attacks.

Another variation, The Draconic Sentinel, is also much the same as the Erdtree Sentinel only that their horse can breathe fire and every attack they will make can make them conjure red lightning.

• The Royal Crucible Knights: Two armoured giants that consisted of two types, one being a sword and shield wielder with an axe-designed helmet and the other wielding a spear and a helmet with branches, regardless of their classification, the Crucible Knights are one of the most powerful and competent forces in the Royal Army, combining not only strength, speed and competency but also their ability of wielding the Incantation of the Primordial Crucible such as wings, tails, claws and a throat sac that allows them to breathe fire.

• The Royal Bloodhound Knights: A member of the Royal Army where anyone doesn't know if they are wolf man or man that copied the fighting style of a wolf, they are a confusing mess of blades, claws and savagery as they even have the ability to go fast like as if they teleported, capable of avoiding any form of attacks while dishing out their own attacks against their enemies.

The Royal Grave Warden Duelists: Gladiator-like muscular man wielding chained hammers, usually they guard the catacombs with their very life but now served as just another members of the Royal Army, showcasing massive strength and martial prowess from their very days as experience close-quarter combatants.

• The Royal Lion Guardians: To say that the Royal Army getting wolves as another members of the Royal Army is just strange. Giant lions that are equipped with arm blades on their forearms, these Lion Guardians are more often not, loyal to their human compatriots while savage against their enemies and they display a level of fighting competence through agility and skill.

• The Royal Erdtree Burial Watchdogs: Giant statue of a either a feline or a canine, the Burial Watchdogs are strong in both their durability and strength and thought moved slow and stiff, they are surprisingly lethal and dangerous if they were taken lightly.

• The Royal Alabaster Lords: Mysterious, otherworldly, tall beings that look like naked, slender humanoids with pointed ears and all, the Alabaster Lords are an alien race of creatures who were dubbed Lords because of their immensely powerful gravitational magic and ability to call down meteors from their opening of portals.

They are also now served in Asger's Royal Army and were seen by both allies and enemies alike as purely powerful beings that both deserved their namesake and being granted fear and respect by even high ranking generals despite how they don't exactly interact with others and keep it to themselves.

• The Royal Starcallers: Cultists who served and worshipped the Alabaster Lords, thought far from powerful as their worshipped figures, their skill over gravitational magic and flinging rocks upon their foes can still hurt and they also have the numbers to spare.

• The Royal Valiant Gargoyles: Combining the size of the Trolls and the speed of the Lion Guardians and the Bloodhound Knights, this seriously intimidating and dangerous humanoids made of rock and corpse wax are dangerous to behold, wielding their weapons with great skill and competency while using their size with the full extent of their abilities.

• The Kaiden Sellswords: Mercenaries that were formerly employed by Godrick and now served the Royal Army, they are a roving band of raiders who are experts in the arts of pillaging and burning and while they are from lethal cavalry man, they get the job done with their ability to dismount others from their horses and their lethal tenacity for combat.

• The Mad Pumpkin Heads: Giant, crazy warriors who encased their heads with their namesake, these mad warriors are feared and unnerved by both their enemies and allies alike as while effective fighters, they are also unpredictable, being more than capable of killing even their own through rage and aggression which makes it clear that it is better to leave them to their own devices then provide assistance unless they do it from a distance.

• The Misbegottens: A race that are similar to the demi-humans, being rather small and winged or wingless and large in size, the Misbegottens had once been persecuted for being animalistic violent savages but Asger has now pardoned them to become a respected members of his Royal Army, showcasing skill and strength above all else.

Their leaders, The Leonine Misbegotten, is a much more feral Misbegotten with red fur that is also shown to be a competent swordsman that complement their overall savagery.

• The Royal Knights of the Banished Order: Formerly disgraced knights that were exiled to the Lands Between, now under the orders of Asger, they have now become official members of the Royal Knights and while most were imprisoned for their dishonourable conduct, some who still carry a sliver of honour have become the now honourable they had become and are pretty competent, skilled and strong with their ability to manipulate the wind to their usage while some have used the Dragon Communion Incantations to even the odds.

• The Royal Warhawks: Stormhawks who are still have their talons grafted with blades, thought they are fragile as can be expected from birds, the Warhawks are not only fast flyers but are skilled combatants and are really annoying to anyone that dared to take them lightly.

The masked variant is even worse, comes equipped with shotgun-like flamethrower that burns anyone in close proximity to them.

• The Royal Marionette Soldiers: Thought Asger cannot induct the Raya Lucaria Sorcerers into his army, their Marionettes, however can and these multiple limbed puppets are both capable archers and close quarter combatants and were created en masse with ease.

Their smaller but more dangerous variants, The Royal Avionette Soldiers, are augmented with wings that makes them fly up into the air and do a kamikaze charge and are still capable combatants even when they started to... glitched up.

• The Royal Albinauric Squadrons: Artificially created beings that look like humanoid frogs, the Albinaurics were shunned for their artificial nature but Asger had now integrated them to become a respectful part of the army and while not the strongest, they do get the job done with their agility.

The more human-like but less mobile all-female variant, The Royal Albinauric Archers, are one of the Royal Army's most deadliest archers ever seen with their homing arrows and superhuman accuracy that makes them really dangerous and should not be underestimated despite their disability.

More so when they ride in giant dire wolves.

• The Royal Crystallians: Strange crystalline humanoids in the shape of a woman, they appear to be a very robotic beings that may move without grace itself but are one of the most durable members of the Royal Army anyone has ever seen. If they know how to fight effectively, that is.

• The Royal Oracle Envoys: Another variant of Albinaurics that, as their name implies, served as the envoys of the Royal Army, though they hardly dangerous as they are, their ability to fire a golden bubble is harmful but not dangerous unless they are in the safety and appear in numbers, which makes them really annoying.

The much larger variant is more than capable as a combatants and can rapidly fire a lot of golden bubbles while the most gigantic of them all can make anyone explode into pieces of meat.

• The Royal Pages: Man who hide their identities in hoods and wield an Estoc and a crossbow in each hand, the Pages are a competent force that served mainly as maintenance workers, servants and primarily, bodyguards of either any high ranking members or Asger himself, they are not trained fencers but are also accurate crossbowmen where they combine each to be the most lethal combatants yet and would have made the Royal Army even greater were it not for their small quantity of members.

• The Royal Perfumers: Man or woman wearing white sarong and mask, the Perfumers may not be capable combatants themselves but are known for their supportive abilities to buff their allies with their perfumes and some of them can even turn their bodies into steel to become a wall for their allies to plow through.

• The Royal Omenkillers: Thought they no longer hunt down the Omens anymore, they are still brutally ruthless combatants who are armed with duel giant machetes that can make anyone bleed and show no fear even on impossible odds.

• The Omens: Huge and brutish giants with horns all over their body, once they were persecuted for their horns, now under Asger, the new Elden Lord, the Omens have finally a respected members of the Royal Army and the society at large and served as the heavy units in battle with both their strength and speed.

The Royal Order of the Flames: An order of monks who were formerly tasked by Queen Marika to guard the Giant's Flame, these Fire Monks are the Royal Armies' masters of burning everything to cinders with their fire Incantations and all the while, leading their troops of, The Guilty, punished penitents who followed the Fire Monks to battle with their own bleeding edged staff.

Their most powerful member, The Fire Prelate, men clad in rotund armour while wearing a bowl that shoots flames and wielding either a hammer or spiked whip, will lead the Order of the Flames on the orders of the Elden Lord.

So, to recap, Asger Kirsten has now donned the Raging Wolf Armour because the armour itself is very fitting and iconic in the Elden Ring merchandise.

The Beast Incantations is because, well, he is wearing a wolf themed armour so make him act like a wolf.

The Greatsword is obvious because it paid homage to the Berserk series.

And other than that, let's make this story count, shall we?
