Rory was walking out of her Russian Lit class when her cell rang. Walking to the nearest coffee cart, she dug her phone out of her bag.
"One large coffee please."
Rory answered her phone.
"Hello?"
"Yes, is this Lorelai Gilmore. Also known as Rory?"
"Yes," Rory answered while paying the coffee cart man, and grabbing her to-go cup.
"This is Boston Memorial Hospital. We are calling in regards to your mother."
"What? Is she hurt?" Panic rose in Rory.
"Miss, I am sorry to inform you, but your mother was killed by a drunk driver…"
Rory didn't hear the nurse anymore. The coffee cup dropped from her hand. Rory lost her balance and fell to her knees.
She had no idea now much timed passed before she heard someone calling her name. Rory looked up to see a blonde with a concerned and worried look on their face.
