chapter3: meet the cyro

Snow... Fire... For several years, scientists have been conducting experiments with these chemical substances that have formed some of the chemical research and are some of the most important physical things, but... these two substances, despite their importance, remain the worst enemies of each other

One day the clouds were gathering in the sky and it seemed that it was going to rain...the children were wearing heavy clothes to protect them from the cold

Small steps began to come out of the door of their house oh look it's a little girl she was wearing a coat with a little dress and gloves she was wearing a hat on her head and the scarf she was wearing almost covered half of her face

Sheesh...it's true that today is cold, but not to this degree

The little girl started walking in the neighborhood carrying a bag on her back as if she was going out to explore the area

I took her bag and took out a doll. The doll was in the form of a robot. How cute

"Well, snowball... Apparently this is where we live. I told my mom we should go to Alaska, but she said no! " The girl said to her toy

" but..That's fine... I just calculated that this is a temperate place so we're going to get rainy and hot days and I'm excited about that."

The girl imitated the robots voices with her mouth, as if the toy was talking to her

"hahah...You're right, Snowball, we gotta move "said the girl as she started to walk

Things were great! Children are playing and having fun, animals are starting to store their food, and markets are full of sweets

This was what the little girl thought until she reached the place of the wall that separates the forest from the neighborhood. The girl was in love with the length of the wall, as it was surrounded by the entire neighborhood. What are they hiding behind it?

The girl tried to look through it but it was taller than her

"aww...I can't see anything sometimes I hate my height but it's okay I don't want to know what's going on there anyway this place scares me " The girl said as she started walking away

"Well Mei, let's continue our way away from that wall..." A girl said while watching the wall from afar... Her name was Mei awww, what a cute name

But while she was walking she was stopped by some boys who did not seem to have any good intentions

"So then what do we have here Aren't you new here?" said the first boy

"Actually, yes I am..." Mei said worriedly as she covered her face with the scarf

"Come on, what's wrong with you, we just want to play with you!" said the second boy

"Yes, yes, that's right," said the third

While Mei was trying to walk away, one of the boys spotted her toy doll and quickly took it from her hands

"well,What do we have here?"

"Hey!...this is mine. Give me back Snowball." She said trying to retrieve it

" Aww...his name is Snowball. How nice. Let's see if Snowball can fly!" said the boy and threw the doll to his friend.

"noo!" Mei said trying to catch up with her doll .But he caught it and then threw it to his third friend, who also returned it to the first The situation remained like this, and the doll moved from one child to another, and Mei tried to catch it...

Until a strong sound came from the middle of the forest, and it dispersed one of the children, so he did not see the doll coming from the direction that led the doll to cross the fence.

Mei broke inside after watching her doll pass through that fence, which made her start crying as she tried to look through it.

"Man, did you hear that sound?!" the boy said to his friend

"Yes, looks like we should have a look," said the second

"Are you serious ?! Do you want us to meet that crazy kid?! Hurry up and run away!" said the other child, and then they all started running away except Mei, who was sitting wiping her tears by the fence

"Stupid... they think I'll believe their stupid stories? Mei said as she got to her feet and started looking at the fence"If I can freeze them all so they can see that I'm strong and not just a weak girl... how much I hate them "

Mei began to look around, perhaps she would find something to climb on...as she glimpsed a group of boxes, so she quickly climbed on them until she reached the top. She tried to jump over the fence, but she stumbled and fell on her face.

Mei started to open her eyes at first, the scene was blurry at first, but she soon regained consciousness

"Snowball!" That was the first thing mei said, then she started looking around, hoping to find her beloved doll

But it is useless, where did you go? Perhaps the child threw it between the bushes of the forest? May asked, and then began to advance into the forest with slow steps, she was afraid, but she could not go back now without snowball

Mei took courage and started to go deeper into the forest. The place was quiet and empty. She could hear the sounds of small animals around her...she was alone, or so she thought.

"Well, Mei, all you have to do is find Snowball and get out of here quickly." She said, trembling "I mean, what's the worst thing that could happen to you?..."

But before she could finish her sentence, Mae stepped on something and raised her foot to see a torn stuffed bear

"Poor thing! Who is the criminal who did this to you?" Mei said, but suddenly another toy fell on her head, a deformed Barbie doll. Mei raised her head and was surprised by a large crowd of toys hanging from trees. The scene was terrifying.

Mai panicked and quickly started running forward, trying to close her eyes so as not to see this horrible scene.

But she hit a tree and fell to the ground. Mei opened her eyes, and she saw a large square as if it were a playground

Mei got up and started walking around

"What is this place? It looks like a children's playground, but... it's empty." Mei fell as she looked at the place. There were toys thrown everywhere without an owner.

There was a table in the middle of the place. Mei approached it. It was a table for drinking tea for girls, and on its chairs there were toys too

She took a look at the toys, if she saw something that made her happy ...her missing game was Snowball But what is he doing here? Or how did he get here?

"Snowball what are you doing here I was worried about you... I promise I will never let anyone touch you again." Mei said, then hugged her doll

There was a sound coming from the bushes. Mei looked towards her and started to move away, but the sound started to get closer. Mei closed her eyes and started protecting herself with the toy. Is this the end of her?

But luckily out of the bushes came a little bunny, who was watching Mei with his little eyes

"oh! It's just you haha..." Mei sat on her knee and started petting him, "Are you lost too?"

But while Mei is looking at the rabbit, an axe comes down from nowhere on the poor rabbit and splits it in two

"ahhhh! " Mei screamed in panic and started running towards the forest. She was trembling with fear, but she felt something following her from behind.

He was getting closer to her little by little. Mei started to get confused and afraid. She did not see the log in front of her, so she stumbled and fell

She started crying and hugging her doll

"Please...a.a..please don't kill me" Mei begged the thing standing in front of her as she tried not to look at it

The thing did not say anything except that it brought its face closer to Meis, mei placed her doll in front of her face, and she only heard the sound of breathing from him, as if it was wearing a mask or something.

"I don't want anything, I just came to get my doll," Mei said crying

There is no answer either. Suddenly, the thing started to bring its hand closer to her. What she felt and started to get nervous. She thought that it would kill her...But the thing did nothing. it just took her hat from her.

"huh?!"Mei wondered about this. Did he just want her hat? as mei removed her doll from her face

So what Mei see a boy? I think it's a boy no matter what ،He was wearing an apron, almost torn, under it a long shirt, and on his hands were two rubber gloves. His hair was gienger, but what terrified her was his face, which was covered with a gas mask.

He was trying on Mei's hat, giggling

"umm…hey?" Mei said, drawing his attention to her

The boy looked at her and his expression was blank

"ummm... I'm sorry if I interrupted you but... who are you? And what are you doing here?" Mei asked

The thing looked at her for a while, then took out a piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to her

Mei took the paper and opened it and saw a name written in crayons, his name was...

"Pyro, this is the first time I've heard of a name like that?" Mei said, then returned the paper to him and added "well it's nice to meet you, Pyro, but I have to go now, bye!"

Mei turned around and started walking, but soon returned to Pyro

"Haha...a funny story but I don't know how to go back...can you help me?" Mei said to him

Pyro looked at her a little, then turned around and started walking, not interested. Mei felt angry how he ignored her, so she caught him and grabbed his hand and said

Pyro stopped walking and turned his head towards her, and the first thing that caught his attention was Mei's hand holding his

Mei was confused, but she soon realized that he was looking at her hand. Pyro raised his head for her. Mei got scared, so she let go of his hand quickly, she thought he was

After Mei let go of his hand. Pyro kept looking at it , this is the first time that someone dared to touch him, especially since her touch was not like any other touch, it was cold, and Pyro usually does not like cold, but her touch is special

"mmm...hello? are ok ? did i hurt you?" Mei asked

Pyro raised his head to her and quickly took her doll and started running

"hey! Not you either! I hate bullies." Mei said and started to follow him

Pyro was fast for her, but she tried her best until they reached the same field. Matti ran to rest a bit from running, but when she raised her head, she did not find Pyro.

"Where did he go?" Mai said to herself

"mnph mnph!" Mei heard a murmur from above

He was up in a tree with his axe still stained with rabbit's blood. He was laughing at Mei how slow she was

"hey ,that's not funny !" mei said "It's not easy to move around with this coat,"

pyro stopped laughing and turned back to look at her

"Anyway, where's Snowball! And why did you take it?" Mei asked

Pyro jumped from the tree and sat on a chair by the tea table, and put Snowball on a chair beside him

Mei was amazed at what he did until Pyro pointed to her and then to the chair as if he is asking her to sit down

"mmm ...alright ?"Mai said, then sat on the chair, not the one next to him, the one in front of him, as she was still afraid of me

She was looking at Pyro as he was pouring tea for Snowball. There was no tea, just his imagination. Then he looked at Mei and raised his teapot, asking if she wanted.

"umm.."But before Mei can answer Pyro started pouring tea. It was like Alice in Wonderland, but the dark version.

"Hah..thank you." Mei thanked him, then began to assume that she was drinking tea. "Mmmm…it's delicious."

Pyro rejoiced at her answer and started clapping

"You know something, tea is good and everything, but I'm really hungry," Mei said, as she took her bag and pulled some food out of it. Pyro was watching her in amazement.

Mei put the food on the table and started to eat, but before she took the first bite, she looked at Pyro and said

"Oh... sorry. Do you want some? It's tofu. My mother made it especially for me." Mei offered a piece to Pyro. Pyro hurried in and kept looking at her.

"You know, tofu is really tasty, but not like other foods." pyro gave her a questioning look "I want to eat other things, but I am forced to eat this so that I do not gain weight. As you can see, I am fat and I have to maintain my weight. As I remember in my hometown, children used to make fun of me and my weight."

Pyro did not say anything but continued listening

"My family and I moved to avoid bullying, but even children here bully me. Before I met you, there were three children, one of thom was tall, one short, and another child who was medium in size. They took Snowball from me and started throwing it until it reached here. "Mei paused for a moment, "I wish I could stop them."

that's it ! Pyro pissed Off.. ..he got up from his place, picked up his axe and started walking. He knows who these kids are and he will wipe the ground with them

Mei saw him going with his axe, so she hurried to catch up with him

"Pyro!... Pyro... No, I didn't mean to hurt them!" Mai said, pulling the ax from Pyro.

"mnph..mnph mnhp!" pyro murmured in an angry tone

"I didn't even understand a word of yours but my answer is still no don't do anything to them" Mei said as she tried to pull out the axe

"mnph! mnph!"pyropulled the axe from it and continued walking

Mei fell to the ground, she fell so hard that it hurt her, so mei started crying

Pyro heard crying behind him so he turned his back and saw Mei crying on the floor

Mei looked at him an angry look, then stood up and said glaring at him

"You are really bad! First you killed that rabbit, then you ran after me, then you took my hat and my doll, and ran away, and now you're pushing me to the ground. It's no wonder the kids here hate you!"

pyro stood there looking at her with that gaze again

This angered May, so she shouted at him, saying "I. really. hate you!"

Mei wasn't used to saying this to anyone's face but he pissed her off

This time, Pyro did not stand up or look at her as usual, but started to go crazy. He started muttering randomly, then started spinning in place.

Mei started to get scared, she didn't mean to say that or hurt him

But Pyro was still angry until he started cutting anything in front of him, puppets of wood, bushes, and everything until he stopped. He started looking at mei

Then he started approaching her. Mei got scared and started to step backwards until she stumbled in the chair and fell, and this is what helped Pyro reach her, so he raised his axe and prepared... to finish her off.

"stop!" Mei said while raising her hands towards him to protect herself

Pyro stopped...and kept looking at her hands with a smile. Mai was closing her eyes, waiting for its end, but she did not feel anything except for a light touch on her hand.

She opened her eyes. Pyro was holding her hand and giggling as if he was enjoying herself. Mei stayed in her place looking at him. Didn't he want to kill her a while ago? Why is he holding her hand?

While he was holding her hand, she felt that it was warm. She looked at his hand and found it dirty with ashes and dust

"Oh...it looks like you really just needed some tenderness." mei said but pyro was not paying attention

"i have an idea !"Mei said Pyro was surprised and prepared his axe

But she didn't do anything but give him a hug. Pyro was surprised, but then he lowered his axe and returned the hug.

"I'm really sorry for what I said to you. I never meant that. I promise I'll never do anything to upset you again, okay?" Mei said

Pyro nooded his head as yes

"Well there you go. Are you feeling better?" Mei said

"mhm!"Pyro replied

"Well, if you don't mind, can you show me the way home, the sun's going down, and my mom's going to be worried," Mei begged

pyro nodded

*at the other way of the fence*

"thank you pyro I really owe you." Mei thanked him

"mnph mnph mnph!" said pyro

"You know, Pyro, in the time I've been with you, I'm beginning to understand your muttering," Mei said

Pyru started to clap with joy Then he started to go back to his forest until Mei stopped him, saying

"You know, the lights will be dark soon, and I'm afraid of the dark, so if you don't mind..." Mei said And she offers him her hand

Pyro quickly agreed and took her hand and started walking beside her while giggling

"you guys are the worst !" Scout said angrily "You know how long it took me to get out of that place"

"Scout for the last time...we didn't do it on purpose, you forced us," Spy said

"Come on, I said I'm sorry!" Scout said

"Actually, Mate, you didn't say anything other than complain," Sniper said

Soldier raised his head to see Pyro raising his axe while looking at the other children with a look, 'If anyone touches it, I will cut off his head', and here Soldier began to feel joy

"This girl didn't weaken Pyro, but rather made him stronger and bloodier!" Soldier shouted in excitement

While the girls minding their business in the middle of the paper castle, amelie stops them and calls them to see what's going on in the neighborhood.

When the girls went out, they saw something that shocked them, especially pharah. It was May with a boy, and not any boy. That boy who was with the soldier boy, and he was the one who terrified the boys with him.

"awww!" all They all said, except for amelie and pharah, who was angry because of this, it is not enough for Lena, and now Mei, especially that Mei was terrifying her enemies in the old neighborhood, and then deceiving them with her kindness

pharah looked at the neighborhood to find that boy...he was Soldier with his friends. pharah looked at them and then started to speak

"What are you doing here?" pharah called, and Solder turned to her and looked at her proudly

"Do you see that Cleopatra, our soldier, has caught yours!" Soldier said to joy

"Don't be too happy, you idiot. Surely, Mei caught him with her kindness, and then she will kill him." pharah replied

"Haha...you are saying this to deny that we are better than you" Soldier said sarcastically

"of course no ! Isn't it Mei?!" pharah said, addressing May

"In fact, Pyro is really nice to me and not like any other boy here... that's why I have to act with him as I am." mei answered her and this shocked pharah.

"Do you see this, phareeha, we won!" Soldier said, and this angered pharah, so she said

"amelie, get them out of here quickly, and May, go up a solution!" After a that sentence, Mei Pyro left and hurried, as she did not want to deal with her. As for amelie, she took her water gun and aimed at Scout, and he was now completely wet

"heyy!" cried Scout "I'm going to catch a cold after this!"

"I'm sorry Scout amelie didn't mean that!" Lena said, trying to apologize to Scout

"No, I meant it." amelie said, which made Lena to glare at her

" holly dolly ! that's a bloody nice job shelia But if I were in your place, I would have filled the gun with piss, so my mark will remain on the enemy," she looked at him with wonder and disgust, is he really thanking her for wetting his friend

"Now leave or you'll be next!" pharah commanded

Except for Pyro, who kept looking at Mai from afar, until Mei noticed him, so she waved shyly at him, so Pyro returned the waving while giggling.

"PYRO!" But Soldier stopped his screams and made him follow them

I don't think these kids will ever get along... right?
