I'm alive!
Well it's been around a year and nine months since this story was last updated but I am here to assure you that it is not quite dead just yet. You see the reason I stopped writing this story is a simple one. I severely dislike stories that
a) make Harry heir to a bunch of houses
b) just throw women on top of him without giving a reasonable explanation
and
c) make Harry op without again giving a reasonable explanation or training him.
The problem was I reread this story and realized I was doing all three of those and you don't need to be an author to know writing something you hate is no fun at all (just go to school or get a job to try it out for yourself). As such I have rewrote the previous four chapters and the plot overall and am only now starting chapter five. Thankfully my final exam is on the seventh so I'll have a full month to write before I need to head back. That means should all things go to plan HPFC will finally get a new chapter sometime before the new year.
I do have other works I am focusing on right now, particularly my Rival Heirs story but I will try to get some new chapters up next year. That said, thank you all for your understanding and support, check out my other works if you haven't already, and check back in the future to keep reading about Harry and Bellatrix's misadventures.
