A/N - Here we are at the end of the thirty chapter journey. Hopefully you all had some fun along the way.

Marti - It was a fun thought that popped up in my head, I just hope I made it somewhat believable.

Railman - Yes, the team came through having the pool installed. I'm sure they will be over all the time to swim, especially Toby in the evenings when they want some alone time. The prank went over well. Glad you found it enjoyable.

Pearliegirl - Glad the prank went over well. Time for this story to end and another adventure to begin.

LouBe - Awesome. I laughed a couple times myself when I was writing it and trying to come up with little extras to throw in there. Glad you liked it. I know Paige didn't apprecaite the language in front of Ralph, but she let it slide this one time. I'm sure they will let Sly see the video of it if he asks.

Part 30 Saturday July 18th, 2018

Paige woke up to breakfast in bed. Compliments of the man of her dreams. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. What better way to start the day.

"You know, a girl could get used to this every morning." Paige told him with a big kiss as she was still just waking up.

"Mmm, your lips taste so good when you first wake up." Walter told her as he sat down next to her to eat together.

"Thank you, that was so sweet."

They finished eating in bed and Walter took the tray and brought it back to the kitchen before he was going to rejoin Paige in bed. But when Walter returned, the bed was empty.

Paige had gotten up as Walter left, to run to the bathroom. Something in the food didn't agree with her stomach. By the time Walter found her in the bathroom she was brushing her teeth. Walter none the wiser.

Guests were set to start arriving around 4:00. The caterers were arriving an hour before that at 3:00. Other than that, everything else was set up and ready to go. Happy, Toby and Sly were going to arrive around three as well, and Cabe and Allie were going to be there around 6:00 after Allie got off work.

They were both dressed and showered by nine, leaving them plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other's company. Paige told Walter she had one errand she needed to run, and she would be back in under thirty minutes. Walter used the time to update the wireless signal and add a couple more layers of protection on it.

Ralph woke up around 9:30 just before Paige got home.

"I smell bacon." He said as he rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"Is that a hint that you are hungry and require something to eat?" Walter asked him as he plopped on the couch next to him.

"I mean, if you're offering, I'm not going to say no dad." Ralph said with a smile.

"You know, calling me dad isn't going to sway me to make you breakfast." Walter told him with a smile.

"Please, dad." Ralph said now almost laughing.

"Fine. How many slices do you want?" Walter said ruffling his hair as he smiled, still not fully used to the fact that Ralph was his son.

"Eight." Ralph said with another yawn just as Paige walked into the sight of Ralph sprawled out on the couch and Walter messing with his hair.

"Hey boys." She called out.

"Hey mom."

"Hey you." Walter said as he greeted his wife with a big smile.

"What's going on over here?"

"Ralph is playing the dad card. He wants some bacon. A whole pigs worth." Walter told her tickling Ralph.

"I only asked for eight slices dad."

"Well make it twelve, I could use a couple more slices myself, dad." Paige told him with one of those smiles right back at him.

"You're going to play that card too?" Walter asked as he started to tickle her.

"Quit it. Both of you." Paige said laughing as Ralph turned to tickle her too.

"Ralph, don't give up our advantage. I will be back with reinforcements as soon as I can." Walter told him.

Ralph was laughing once Walter left because his mom had flipped him over and began tickling him. Paige adored anytime Ralph laughed. Today had the makings of a special, special day.

With Ralph fed by ten, they had time to spend together as a family for the first time since they became a real family. Ralph was laying down on one of the couches in the living room and Paige was snuggled up next to Walter on the other.

"Ralph, what do you think about all of this?" Paige asked.

"All of what, mom?"

"Oh, let's see. Remember how for the longest time, it was just you and me. And now look at us. Walter, I mean dad. And the guys at Scorpion, and Cabe and Allie. Your friends at school. This house. Isn't this all just so amazing."

"Yeah. I liked when it was just us, but mom, this is better." Ralph told her.

"So much better." Paige said as she reached back and caressed Walter's chin.

"You guys are what make it better. Both of you." Walter said as he took Paige's hand and kissed it.

"Ralph, what time are your friends coming over today?" Walter asked.

"I haven't told them a time yet. I didn't know if you wanted me to wait till later to have them come, or what." Ralph told them.

"Oh sweetie, they can come whenever they want. And we wanted to talk to you about that too. You are welcome to have them here anytime you want. That was one of the reasons we wanted to find a bigger place. So you could have friends here for sleepovers and video games and hanging out."

"Can they sleep here tonight?" Ralph asked hoping for a yes.

Before Paige could say anything, she had tears well up in her eyes.

"Of course." Walter told him as Paige buried her head in his shoulder thanking him for the answer. "We would like you to meet some of the guests who have told us they were going to stop by, but after that we can have some pizzas delivered for you guys upstairs and you can hang out with your friends as long as you want. Why not have them come around six. Everyone could eat and you guys can play video games or swim."

"Thanks dad." Ralph said to him, and you could see the pride in his eyes every time he heard him call him dad. Paige could see it too. "I'll call them now and get it set up. Can I have all five of them over? This would be the first time all six of us could play a game at the same house. No one ever has room for more than four of us at a time."

"Yes." Paige said almost before Ralph finished talking. She had wanted Ralph to have friends over forever, and now with this house it was finally happening. Lots of times she hoped.

"What kind of pizzas will you guys want?" Walter asked.

"We all like double pepperoni and meatball." Ralph told him.

"Your mom's favorite. We better get one for her too." Walter said jokingly as Paige pinched his arm.

"Jerk." She said as she smiled at him, "Just for that, I will take some pizza tonight. And I'll take a chocolate shake and some fries as well. They have the best fries at NYC Pizza. And Shakes."

"Paige, we have a catering truck showing up with enough food for the whole neighborhood." Walter told her.

"This will be for later, after everyone leaves. In case we need a midnight snack or two." Paige said with a wink. Message received!

How could it be 3:00 already. The time flew by. After Ralph had left around noon to get the plans set up with his friends, Walter and Paige just started talking. Lost in their own little world. Reminiscing about first meeting, falling in love, their wedding and honeymoon and everything in between.

"Looks like the two of you are going to leave a dent in that couch. How long have you been sitting there?" Happy asked as she entered the living room with a huge platter of cookies they picked up from a bakery.

"Hours." Paige said content to just stay there in Walter's arms smiling.

"You guys make me sick, you know that." Happy said with a smile. "At least he didn't lose himself in your eyes again. Gross." Happy winked at her.

"He can get lost in there any time he wants." Paige told her while still cuddled up next to Walter.

"Just so you know, caterers pulled up right behind us. Sly was showing them where to put the spacecraft full of cat hair and Toby was getting the ponies and elephants ready, are you guys hearing a word I'm saying?" Happy started to ask as she figured out they didn't hear a word after drifting back to wherever it is they go to sometimes.

"What, sorry Happy did you say something." Paige asked returning from her happy place.

"Yeah I was, caterers are here. Sly and Toby were helping them set up." Happy told them more assertive than before. "Walt, snap out of it, pal."

Paige basked in the moment just a little more before they came to and got in gear to help.

By 3:15 Paige was taking charge again and making sure everything was ready for the party. And before the first guests arrived, they were changed into their attire for the evening.

Richard Elia was one of the first people to arrive, as he was set to leave on a business meeting later that evening. Paige hugged him as soon as he arrived and thanked him several times for his generosity. Walter did the same, minus the hugging of course. Richard complimented them on their house and pulled Walter aside for a quick chat about some software issues he was having. Walter told him when they got back to the office on Monday, he would take care of it first thing.

A few of Paige's friends made it over early as well, and she had fun showing them all through the house. They were all so very happy for her, knowing how hard she had had it for so long.

Over the course of the next several hours, lots of the people who Scorpion had somehow helped came to give their blessings to the happy couple. Enjoying the food and drink while their children swam and played in the pool or ran around the big back yard.

And as day turned to night, the music started up and the pool lights came on and the party continued. By 10:30 everyone was gone. All that was left was a tired group of geniuses and a wide awake six pack of teenage boys who decided it was now time to swim. The adults hung around on the back deck while they heard Ralph and his friends laughing and enjoying everything about the pool.

"Thank you, guys, for everything you did the last couple of weeks for us." Paige started to tell them, "And for the amazing pool. Ralph is going to take full advantage of it with his friends."

"It was the least we could do." Cabe told her.

"It's nice hearing him have fun with other kids. None of us ever got that you know." Happy told the normals.

"Yeah, well none of us had a mom like Paige." Sly said.

"Sylvester, thank you. But none of you had a support system like he does either. All of you helped raise him. So I should be thanking all of you for that." Paige told all of them.

"So what happens now? Back to actually having to work for a living next week?" Toby asked rhetorically.

"Unless I can get the last few kinks worked out on that cloning device." Walter stated matter of factly getting lots of laughter from all of them.

"Oh my gosh, that was too funny." Paige said still feeling pretty proud of herself for outsmarting her nerds.

"Yeah, if only you guys thought ahead and recorded it, because as far as I remember, nothing happened." Toby told them.

"I agree with Doc for once. Never happened." Cabe told them with a smile.

"Me too." Sly said.

"Sly you didn't see anything anyway, you were passed out before the fun even started." Paige said.

"Wait a sec, how would you know he was passed out the whole time, your head was on the table, no wait or did you come in later, damnit, which Paige was she again." Toby asked, still confused at who was who.

"Well, the Paige who had her head on the table almost swallowed Walt's head whole when she kissed him and the other one only got a hug and a kiss on the cheek. So my guess is you guys have video." Happy deduced. "Son of a bitch."

"Or Walter got a hot kiss and a handful of boobs from a Hollywood celebrity." Paige told them all smiling from ear to ear.

"How the hell did we fall for that." Happy asked.

"Well first off, Sly was down for the count instantly so he was no help. So we couldn't run any probabilities. Our Homeland guy was busy puking his guts out. And you lost your mind when we saw the second Paige." Toby started.

"Hey at least I didn't pass out like you two lightweights." Happy said to her husband and Sly.

"Ralph." Happy said in an aha moment.

"He was feeding us crap for a few days about this." Toby reconfirmed.

Walter and Paige high fived each other and smiled.

"Sly, what are the chances of you hacking into Walt's WiFi and scrubbing that video?" Toby told him.

"About the same as Happy letting you use any of her good tools." Sly told him.

"That bad huh?" Toby said back to him.

A truce was reached. No showing of the video without consent from the embarrassed parties and no retaliation towards the perpetrators.

"You guys need us to come by tomorrow morning and help clean up?" Happy asked.

"Yeah, we can't let you guys have to do that by yourselves." Sly added.

"No, it's um taken care of. The caterers said they would be back around 10:00 and gather up all the trash and dispose of it while they are breaking down all the chairs and tables. As far as leftovers go, I think Ralph and his friends will take care of that tonight." Walter told them.

"Well pal, it's too bad that cloning thing isn't real, I could have used a second Happy for some role playing ideas I have." Toby told him as they were getting ready to leave.

"Son, I think one Happy is more than enough for you." Cabe told him as they all laughed.

Seeing their friends off around 11:15 and hearing laughter still coming from outside by the pool brought smiles to both Walter and Paige's faces. They both sat down on a couch and snuggled together for about ten minutes when a soaking wet thirteen year old suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Mom, dad, can we eat some of the food that's still out back?"

"As much as you guys want." Paige told him with a smile.

"You and your friends having fun?" Walter asked as Paige sat up next to Walter.

"A blast. They all said this should be our new all time hangout spot." Ralph informed them. Exactly what Paige had always hoped to hear from her son. He was definitely fitting in.

"Don't forget that all those couches in the game room fold out to beds. And there are enough sleeping bags and pillows and blankets for everyone in the closet right outside the door." Paige told him.

"Thanks mom. We folded down the couches before, it's cool how they fold out right next to each other. I'll get out blankets and pillows when we get ready for bed. If we make it to sleep that is."

"Well don't stay up too late." Walter told him.

"I thought mom would be the one saying that, not you." Ralph said with a chuckle.

"Ha ha, now go have fun, me and your dad are going to have a snack and then we are going to bed." Paige told him before Ralph ran out the door saying they could eat all the food.

"Cannonball." They heard Ralph yell as he was out the door.

"This place is so much better than my condo. I still can't believe we live here Walter." Paige told him with a smile as she heard Ralph.

"I loved spending time with you at your condo, but I agree, and I think he does too." Walter added.

"Come on, let's have some pizza before bed." Paige told him as she helped him up from the couch.

"What about those fries too?" Walter asked remembering they had gotten some of them as well.

"Oh, I ate those when the pizza got here, and don't ask about the shake. I was hungry and the fries smelled so good." Paige told him as they held hands walking to the kitchen.

There was a pizza oven in their kitchen, so they threw the double pepperoni and meatball pie in and waited for a while as it cooked.

"I'm glad we still have tomorrow before we have to go back to work. Is it wrong of me to just want to stay in bed with you all day?" Paige asked.

"Nothing sounds wrong about that to me." Walter told her as he held her in his arms and kissed her forehead.

"Good. Mmmm, I like it when you hold me in your arms. I always feel so safe and loved." Paige said as she reached up and kissed him on the lips.

"Well you are, safe and loved." Walter reassured her.

"Mmmm, very safe, and very loved." Paige whispered in his ear.

They got the pizza out and after it cooled down a little, they each had a couple of slices and set the rest out on the back patio near the pool knowing it wouldn't go to waste.

They got ready for bed just before midnight and laid there snuggling and talking for a few minutes before Paige rolled over to get face to face with him.

"Hey, I got you a little something." Paige said to him.

"You don't have to buy me anything Paige. You being here with me, is all I will ever need." Walter told her as he caressed up and down her arm.

"Oh Walter, that is so sweet. Thank you. But I didn't buy you anything." Paige told him as she kissed him tenderly.

"Oh, did you make me something?"

"You could say that. Here open it up and see what you think." Paige told him as she handed him a small gift box.

As Walter turned to sit up, Paige turned as well to be able to see his face as he opened her present. She wanted to capture his reaction the instant he knew what was in the box.

"Paige… wait, you're pregnant?" Walter said to her with a look of joy.

"Yes, we, Walter, we are pregnant." Paige told him with tears in her eyes.

"When did you find out?"

"This afternoon; I called my doctor right away and I have an appointment on Monday to confirm, but the test is almost one hundred percent accurate." Paige told him, wanting him to know the facts.

"When did you first um think you were pregnant Paige?"

"It was um actually something you said to me." She told Walter while grabbing his hands. "On our dinner cruise when you told me I looked like an angel the way you said I was glowing, I just had this incredible feeling rush over me." Paige finished with tears spilling from her eyes.

"And that was when you um knew?" Walter asked her as he pulled her in close to him.

"No, that was the first time I thought it might be true. This morning when you made me breakfast, after you left to take the tray back to the kitchen, I got sick and threw up. And then when we ordered pizza for Ralph and his friends and I had a craving for fries and a shake. That's when I knew."

"The errand this morning?" Walter asked realizing what it was for.

"Yes, after I threw up, I went to grab a pregnancy test, four of them actually." Paige told him.

"And?"

"They were all the same Walter." Paige said as she reached into her nightstand and pulled the other three out.

"And these are usually very um accurate, no um false positives?" Walter asked her.

"There can sometimes be a um false positive, but the chances of all four of them, let's just say I like our odds." Paige told him with a smile as she was still trying to read his face for answers.

"So, the doctor will be able to know for sure, on um Monday?" Walter continued.

"Yes, but I know it. I know it, Walter. But to answer your question, yes, she will confirm everything to us."

"Will she be able to tell when it happened? Or um when it is due?" Walter asked again, having lots of questions.

"You have a um lot of questions, are you okay?" Paige asked needing to make sure he was okay.

"Oh, um yes, I um just want to make um sure." Walter stumbled over his words.

"Ok, they will be able to get pretty close. We have been pretty active lately. You know I tried to think back to all the times since we decided to try to have a baby and…" Paige started out saying.

"43." Walter blurted out.

"Nuh-uh, it's only been two weeks Walter." Paige said.

"Do you want me to tell you about them one by one? Fifty one, if you include our wedding day and night, because I don't remember thinking about using any protection those times, all I wanted was to be with you so bad."

"Holy hell Walter. What are we, rabbits?" Paige said with a blush.

"I didn't hear you complaining." Walter told her with an arrogant smile. (I was going to put in a joke about going down the rabbit hole, but didn't want to come across as offensive, so only a note, in case anyone else thought a rabbit hole joke would have been funny.)

"Oh, I wasn't. Trust me. Far from it. But 51 times in two weeks? That's a lot, no wonder we were so tired when we finally made it home."

"Should we just tell the doctor we started trying after we got married on the fourth?"

"Yes, that will be a little easier to tell her. Thank you. Are you okay with all of this Walter?"

"So far, yes. I just need to um understand the um how it all works. I mean I know how it works; how we um will know what to do next." Walter told her.

"Well, if you come with me to the doctor's office on Monday, she can explain a lot of it for us." Paige told him.

"Are you okay?" Walter asked her.

"Yes. More than okay. I really want this Walter, and I hope you do too."

"Oh, I do. Please don't think anything else. I um, we, we um are having a baby, yeah?" Walter asked her with his eyes starting to glaze over.

"Yeah, we are." Paige told him again as tears overtook her eyes.

"I love you Paige. So much." Walter told her as she was wrapped around his torso.

"I love you too." Paige replied.

"I banged your head on the table, I'm so sorry." Walter suddenly told her. "Kat said your breasts were a full size bigger."

"What?" Paige said with a smile and a laugh as she detached herself from Walter.

"The other day, when we were back here, I banged your head on the table when Kat was here. And then I grabbed you up around your waste, are you okay? I'm so sorry Paige, I didn't know." Walter told her with concern on his face.

"Walter, relax, everything is fine. Picking me up is not going to hurt our baby. I promise. And yes they get bigger during pregnancy, usually not this soon though."

"Our baby." Walter said as he felt emotions surge through him.

"Yes Walter, ours. Mine and yours." Paige told him seeing the look in his eyes. A look of joy and love and compassion.

Those eyes. She loved the way he looked at her with those eyes.

"Walter? Paige whispered to him.

"Yes, Paige?"

"You uh, ready for number 52?" She said while raising her eyebrows at him.

"Fif-fif-fifty two, I um don't know what you mean."

"You uh, need me to uh spell it out for you?" Paige asked seductively.

By Sunday night the magic number had hit 60. It took Paige some convincing that these activities were not going to hurt the baby that she knew she was carrying. And once Walter was convinced she would be okay, he was as passionate with her as he had ever been.

Monday July 20, 2018

It had seemed like forever since the last time they were all together working back in the garage. It had been, in fact, almost exactly three months. Two weeks of Walter alone by himself before Paige came back to plead with him for a second chance, one he desperately wanted as well. Then slowly over the next month they started bringing Scorpion back to life, but now as a three headed monster. And as the calendar flipped to June, the wheels got in motion and apologies were given and accepted. A house was purchased, an engagement happened, and an adoption was granted. Then the fireworks on July Fourth truly ushered in the start of another new family. Walter and Paige getting married and subsequently letting Ralph know that Walter had adopted him to be his own son.

The newlyweds had only been at the doctor's office for thirty minutes when they were brought back to a room to find out with certainty that they would be expecting. Walter had questions. Lots of questions. Lots and lots of questions. And to her credit, Paige's doctor answered every single one for him. But of all the questions that day, there was really only one that they needed to know the answer to.

"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. O'Brien, looks like you have some healthy little babies on the way."

Walter caught it right away.

"Paige... wait, we're having twins!"
