Chapter 2 the end of an era
Mids under the rubble of the destroyed palace the princess lies stuck between the rubble and finally regained conscious
Lucy: ugh…wha..what happened
Suddenly everything came back…the ship…the attack the invasion
Lucy: my god there really back luckily my holy shield magic kept me safe but what abou- oh no MOM DAD!
With al her strength and magic power she has left she pushed the rubble aside only to see an horrific site
Lucy: no…please no
The palace is completely destroyed but not only the palace the whole city is in flames and in ruins and enemy ships flying al over the city
Lucy: I never thought this day would come the gates were sealed of by my ancestor ..ho..how did they broke the seal…I need to find my parents and fast
With hope she has left she searched all over the place but with no results
Lucy: please let there be something
Eventually she sees something shiny further ahead she headed to the place and pulls the shiny object out of the rubble.. to learn that the shiny object Is her fathers crown and right next to it her mothers ring
Lucy: no they…they cant be dead
Suddenly she hears a loud bang from the city gardens
Lucy: ah that's could be my parents maybe their fighting back
She headed to the source of the sound to the city eventually she found her parents but tied up and sitting on their knees held prisoner by the demon leader himself
Lucy:…the arbiter
She's sneaking closer to the place to try to hear him talking to her parents
The Arbiter: you foolish angels did you really think the seal would hold us back forever from destroying your kind?
Jude: I hoped it would yes it was supposed to be unbreakable how in the heavens name did you broke it?
The Arbiter: …you'll never find out
The arbiter takes his weapon out and struck the king in his heart killing him instantly
Layla: NOOO!
The arbiter pulls his sword out and he king falls to the ground…motionless
Layla: you're never get away with this! I swear to the heavens you will be stopped
Meanwhile Lucy sat back with rage and sorrow at the loss of her father crying her heart out but she couldn't move but she knew she had to
Lucy: I have to help mom I cant lose her to!
Before she could move she heard them speaking again
The Arbiter: and who is going to stop me my army is hunting every angel and killing them with no hesitation soon your race will be instinct and we will rule over everything and everyone
Layla: your wrong my daughter is special and I know she is still alive once she found our sacred weapon you all will be destroyed mark my words
the Arbiter grabs her by the throat and hold her face close to his
the Arbiter: then ill hunt her down and kill her with my blade but first let me reunite you with your king
the he thrust his sword trough her stomach while Lucy watched in horror
Lucy: MOM NOOOO!
Both Layla and the arbiter looked at her direction
Layla: r-run Lucillia run and don't look back! Find the weapon y-your our only hope
Lucy: b-but mom!
Layla: I SAID RUN!
With deep sorrow and regret she ran and didn't look back
Layla: (yes go my dear daughter run and live for our people for the both of us)
The Arbiter drops Layla to the ground began ordering his men
The Arbiter: AFTER HER HUNT HER DOWN!
While the Arbiter and his men ran after her with the last of her strength she looked at her daughter one last time
Layla: l-l live
Then she closed her eyes never to open again
with lucy she ran as hard as she can into the forest she couldn't fly because of the rubble has damaged her wings while the Arbiter and his men chased after her
Lucy: I have to get to that weapon but my wings hurts so much I cant fly I must lose them here somehow
The Arbiter and his men starts shooting at her with their guns one shot hits her in her left side
Lucy: AAHH!
She stumbles but keeps moving on
Lucy: ahh it hurts so much but I have to keep going I have to try with my wings just one time
She lifts her wings with trouble and so much pain but held strong
Lucy: I have to try that spell okay here goes {holy angel magic speed wings!}
Her wings glowed blue and with great speed she dashed ahead out of sight of the Arbiter
The Arbiter: aarrgh find her track her down she cant get to that weapon no matter what!
And the army ran further the forest in chasing after her
Eventually Lucy's magic ran out and arrived at the main city plaza but what she sees next stopped her heart for a moment
The plaza was completely destroyed no buildings were left to stand and al in flames and all across the plaza lies body's of all the angels who fell by the demons blades but not only the warriors but civilians to… mothers ..fathers.. not even the children were spared
Lucy: no… it cant be
She looks at the body's hoping there would be any sign of life but none of them are moving ..their all dead
Lucy: AAAARRGHAA! MONSTERS MONSTER! ILL KILL THEM ILL KILL THEM ALL!
With so much rage and sadness her body overglows with gold light and magic
Lucy: I will get to that weapon those bastards won't stop me!
She looks down and sees the sword of one of the demon soldiers she picks up the sword and instead of the purple demon aura it slowly becomes a weapon of light suddenly one of the demon soldiers spots her and try's to alarm the other soldiers
Demon soldier: I found her I found the pri-
But before he could finish his sentence Lucy already rushed at him with great speed swinging her sword at him
Lucy: die!
With no chance to repel the attack the demon soldiers head was cut of falling to the ground with the rest of his body
Lucy: now the weapon
Lucy ran to the center of the plaza where the beautiful great statue of the great angel king Alexios Goldwing who created the beautiful city and stopped the first war between the angels and the demons all those years ago and it was still standing not damaged by the attack
Lucy: ..even with all this chaos the statue still stands
Lucy reached out to the statue her hand touched the symbol of her kind that was on the chest of the late king
Lucy:…please forgive me ancestor but I have to do this
Then Lucy began chanting the spell to activate the sacred weapon
Lucy: by the light of the royal family who serves and protects the city and his people I will now carry this heavy burden upon me and release the ultimate judgement { heavens judgement}
The statue began to glow with bright gold light and the statue began to move the arms moved before the chest one arm above the other hands almost touching and the wings began to lift up spreading the wings above him
Statue of Alexios: with the completion of the spell and accepting to carry this heavy burden the judgement of the heavens will be upon us when my hands touch each other the spell will be activated and the whole city will be obliterated
Lucy:…thank you ancestor now I need to get out of here ..to be honest staying here wouldn't be so bad I can be with my people again
Tears began to appear on her face
Lucy: but mom told me to live ..for them so I will!
Suddenly the Arbiter appears with his men at the plaza and spots Lucy
The Arbiter: there she is KILL HER!
Lucy began to run to the other side of the forest
The Arbiter: dammit she activated the weapon you guys do everything you can to destroy this thing the rest of us go with me
Enemy soldier: b-but sir isn't it better to just pull back then we ca-
He never got to finish the sentence for the Arbiter just cut him down in cold blood
The Arbiter: anymore cowards?!
All the soldiers: n-no sir
The Arbiter: good now go!
With Lucy she ran with every strength left in her to escape she ran she ran until she came out of the forest straight to a cliff
Lucy: oh no I'm at the end I cant go anymore further and I have no strength left in me to fly and I dont have time to rest
Then the army with the Arbiter appeared before her ready to strike her down
Lucy: ( I'm trapped no where left to go…forgive me mom that I couldn't make it ..well if I have to go down Ill take as many of those bastards with me)
The army all dropped their guns and took out their swords
The Arbiter: ….kill her
Then the army charged at her in the ever lasting battle she repels and dodge incoming swords and taking the opportunity to strike them down but slowly losing her strength slowly the Arbiter makes his way to her while the rest keeps charging at her drawing out his sword while Lucy continued to stay strong the Arbiter grabs her by the throat and lifts her up
The Arbiter: and so the last angel will fall by my blade any last words angel?
Lucy looked behind him and sees that slowly the heavens judgement will be upon them
Lucy: your time is up Arbiter you'll die like the bastard you are
With rage the Arbiter struck his sword trough her
Lucy: AAARGH!
The Arbiter: join with the rest of your kind
And drops her of the cliff meanwhile by the statue the hands finally touched activating the spell while the soldiers still trying to destroy the statue
Statue of Alexios: may the light show you mercy {heavens judgement}
A blinding light spreads out to the city destroying everything in its path including all the soldiers and the ships the Arbiter turns around and sees the light coming his way
The Arbiter: those idiots have failed this cant be happening noooo NOOOO!
Then the light surrounds him and the rest of his army disappearing completely and Lucy still falling sees the blinding light and knows what it means
Lucy: ( my people are avenged .. il be joining you soon mother father)
And so she fell down to earth( is it earth? I don't really know for sure) and so came an end of the era of angels and demons …. Or is it
