Chapter 4 the awakening
Back at the guild Natsu Happy and the rest of the guild members sat in the hall all wondering about the mysterious person Natsu brought back with him
:who is she?
:is she really an angel
:how did she got there
Master Makarov: everyone quiet! We all want to know about our new guest but right now we have to wait for her to wake up and hoping she will recover
All the members nodded in agreement
Right now in the guilds infirmary Mira is watched over the angel while she was still asleep
Mira: (… I never thought they existed only in legends… she's really beautiful to but what happened to you)
Her thoughts were disturbed when Natsu Gray and Happy entered the infirmary
Natsu: …and any progress?
Gray: is she awake?
Mira: no I'm afraid not she still hasn't moved or woken up yet
Natsu: dam..
Happy: to bad
Gray: are you sure she's still alive? You told you found her with a sword trough her chest no way she would survived that
Mira: no I can feel her magic energy and I could hear her breathing
Natsu: I think that ring around her neck kept her alive for some reason but what I really want to know is how the hell she got there in the first place
Gray: we all want to know flame for brains we just have to be patience
Natsu: what you call me frost bite!
Gray: you heard me stupid pyro!
Happy: guys come on
Mira: ENOUGH! No fighting here or ill kick you out got it?
Mira looked at them with a glare and a dark purple aura surrounding her
Gray and Natsu: a-aye..
Happy: this reminds me to never mess with Mira…..
Suddenly they hear movement at the bed and sees she's trying to wake up
Mira: she's finally waking up thank goodness
The blond angel finally opens her eyes and looks around until her eyes fell on the people standing next to her
Mira: hey…are you okay?
She didn't get an answer instead with a look of panic the angel unfolds her wings and used a wind flare to blast Natsu Happy Gray and Mira away from her crashing against the wall
Natsu: arrgh…that hurts you guys okay?
Gray: yeah
Mira: I'm fine
Happy: ow ow ow
The angel stumbles out of the bed trying to stand up but she has no strength in her legs and falls to her knees
Mira: hey take it easy we won't hurt you
But the angel didn't respond and charged right out of the infirmary breaking the door in the process and stumbles into the guild hall
:whoa
:she's awake
:is she alright?
The angel looked around her in full panic and fear and as the people starts to get closer to her she uses her magic to blast the people away from her putting her hands on the ground creating a wave of light
Lucy:..st..stay back!..STAY BACK!
People crashes against the walls or are blown back while the angel backed away against the wall
:what the hell how dare she hurts our friends she's going to pay for that
Everyone got ready to attack but master Makarov stopped them
Master Makarov: NOO STOP! We have no idea how long she was in the ice and what happened to her and right now she is very confused and terrified we need to approach carefully and not scare her anymore than she already is
Meanwhile Natsu Gray Happy and Mira came out of the infirmary and saw the angel sitting against the wall ready to attack if someone came to close
Natsu: gramps what happened did she do this?!
Master Makarov: yes but out of fear boy she's not thinking clearly right now and is very confused we need to approach carefully so we wont scare her more
Gray: cant we knock her out or something?
Mira: not helping Gray!
Natsu: let me try to get closer im the one who found her maybe that would help
Natsu slowly began to move closer to the angel but she took out her sword and pointed it at Natsu
Lucy: I SAID STAY BACK DEMON!
Natsu: … hey easy your safe here were not gonna hurt you
Natsu kept walking closer to her but the angel tackled him to the ground Natsu laying on his back and the angel on top of him holding her sword against his chest
Lucy: LIES I wont fall for your tricks now DIE!
She then readied her sword to strike him down
Gray: NATSU!
Mira: NO DON'T!
Happy: STOP PLEASE!
But before she could strike him down Natsu placed one hand on her chest where the heart is stopping her in her tracks
Natsu: were not your enemy I don't know what happened to you but your In a safe place and we will never hurt you were not demons were humans
The angel slowly lifted her hand to Natsu's feeling his warmth
Lucy: …its..its warm
She knew the feeling of a demon ..cold darkness empty but this is far different from that.. warmth light kindness something she hasn't felt for a long time
She squeezed Natsu's hand and slowly her vision begins to clear and so instead seeing a demon she sees a boy with a big smile and… pink hair
Natsu: there you go
Lucy:… pink?
Natsu: its salmon!
The angel the realized she still holds her sword against him she quickly pulled it away and got off him backing away from him looking around her she sees many others looking worried and relieved glad she came out of it but also for not harming Natsu
This time Mira came closer to the angel this time not backing away but still looked scared and confused
Mira: … hey how do you feel are you alright?
Lucy: wh..where am i?...who are you?
Mira: my names Mirajane and your in fairy tail the pink haired boy on the ground is Natsu
Natsu: I told you its salmon!
Lucy: …fairy..tail?
The master came forward
Master Makarov: yes my dear fairy tail we are a magic guild where we do jobs make a living having fun and a place to call home and be a family and im the master of the guild Makarov but everyone calls me gramps
The angel gave a very sorrow look when she heard the words family and home
Mira: can we ask ..what happened to you?
Gray: and where did you came from
The angel gave a very troubled look when everyone bombarded her with questions Makarov saw this
Master Makarov: everyone be quiet! Give the girl some space im sure you all want to know but right now I think she needs some rest and space
The angel sigh with relieve
Master Makarov: Mira can you escort her to the infirmary beds she can rest there
Mira: of course master right this way uhh..
Lucy:….Lucilia..but you can call me Lucy
Mira smiled
Mira: right this way
Lucy:…alright
Then Lucy followed Mira to the infirmary
Gray: ….i don't like this did you guys saw the look in her eyes almost like empty and sadness
Natsu: your right I get the feeling something really terrible has happened to her
Happy wanted to do something and followed Mira
Meanwhile in the infirmary Lucy sits on the bed ready to get some rest and got a glass of water from Mira
Mira: here you go if you need anything else just call and ill come right away
Lucy gave a nod and laid down ready to get some sleep turning away from her
Mira gave her an sad look and sighed turning back to go back to the guild hall but before she closed the door she heard a small thanks smiling she closed the door
Lucy:… I know you're here come out …its alright
Happy came out of hiding flying to her landing on the bed surprising Lucy for a moment
Happy: hey im happy I wanted to cheer you up
Lucy:.. you.. you have wings.. and you can talk?
Happy gave her a smile
Happy: aye!
Lucy gently grabbed happy feeling the wings on his back small tears came forward
Happy: whaa I wanted to make you feel better not making it worse I can go if you want?
Lucy: ..no can you stay please?
Happy: aye!
Lucy made room for happy and he snuggled right against her
Lucy: ….thank you
happy: aye
And she and happy falls asleep together
