here is chapter 9 enjoy
Chapter 9 meeting erza and the flute
Back at the guild hall everyone was relaxing and enjoying their time for a bit
: hey Mira can we get 2 beers please?
Mira: coming right up
Wakaba: so Mira when are we going on a date together
Laki: can you leave her alone
Mira: ohh Wakaba you know we cant do that
She uses her transformation magic to turn herself into Wakaba,s wife
Mira: you already have a wife remember
Wakaba: ah come on Mira you know I hate it when you doing that
Cana: cant I ever drink in peace?
Macao: you shouldn't be drinking all day
with Natsu and Lucy their sitting at the table drinking and Happy eating a fish and Natsu with his head on the table looking bored
Natsu: im bored lets go find a job
Happy: aye and were low on food money
Lucy: shall we look then I need the money to if I want to pay my rent next month
Natsu: yup lets go
They walked to the job board to look for a job
Natsu: hmm finding a ring..nah to boring
Happy: reading a love letter..gross
Lucy: a volcano monster huh…yeah no not good for my wings
Then Mira walked by checking on them
Mira: and have you guys decided on a job?
Lucy: no im afraid not
Mira: well let me know if you picked one the master is by a conference so im falling in for him
Lucy: ohh what kind of conference?
Mira it's a conference for guild master their talking about the state of things its almost the magic council but different
Lucy: hmm im not sure I follow..
Mira: hey reedus can I borrow your light pen?
Reedus: oui
Mira takes the light pen and begins drawing in the air making a list of the organizations
Mira: the magic counsel era is the most powerful organization in the magic world its one step below the government the counsel has ten members and its their job to uphold all the rules and regulations and if someone broke the rules they would be stand trial by the counsel
The she points to the local guild master league
Mira: then you have the local guild master leagues which are local groups working together and you have the individual guild masters its their job to pass on the degrees of the counsel and they communicate with the other guilds on regular basics
Lucy: man must be pretty stressful and I had no idea the guilds were connected like that
Mira: indeed its very important that we work together or everything would fall apart
Then Natsu came sneaking behind Lucy
Natsu: and then the guys in black show up
Lucy: nice try Natsu
Natsu: dam
Mira: im afraid Natsu's right those people does exist the dark guilds they decided not to join the leagues and are a lot involved in crimes
Lucy: hmmm
Lucy then was deep in thoughts thinking about the 5 people she Gray and Natsu defeated and lullaby but didn't think much about it she was shaken out of her thoughts when Natsu touched her shoulder
Natsu: should we continue looking for a job?
Lucy: oh yeah
She shoved that thought away and looked back at the job board
Gray: hey lucy you don't always have to stay with that loser you know there are always other groups you can go with
Cana: Gray..your clothes
Gray: gahh!
Lucy laughed tricking Natsu a little
Lucy: hmm tempting il be thinking about it
Natsu: WHAT!
Natsu then went to gray head to head
Natsu: No way take that back you jerk Lucy is my partner!
Gray: im not taking anything back and did you just called me a jerk dragonboy!?
Natsu: and what if I did what are you gonna do about it!
Gray: you mouth breather!
Natsu: at least im not a coward!
Gray: spineless wimp!
Happy: and their at it again lucy you were joking right?
Lucy smiled picked Happy up
Lucy: of course happy I wouldn't leave you guys I just wanna tease Natsu a bit
Happy: few
Then suddenly loki came to lucy and puts an arm around her
Loki: why wont you join with me a bit just the two of us?
Lucy: uhm what?..
Loki: your so stunningly gorgeous especially with your wings I have to keep my glasses on not to be blinded by your beauty
Natsu turned around for a sec looking at lucy with loki and he didn't liked what he saw and gave a little growl unnoticed by him and Gray
Lucy: girls really fall for that? ..im gonna puke
Then Loki noticed the gate keys and panicked
Loki: wait a minute your not a celestial wizard to right!?
Lucy: yeah something wrong with that?
Loki: ahh curse you why must you torture me so im sorry but you and I cant be together my dear
Then Loki ran out of the guild hall
Lucy: …someone explain to me what that was
Mira: well Loki had a bad history with celestial wizards rumor has it that he dated one and didn't worked out
Lucy: why am I not surprised…
Lucy then saw Natsu flying at her and jumped out of the way just in time
Mira: ouch
Lucy: try not to take me down with you Natsu and cant you guys knock it off now
Gray: that pyro started it
Cana: still your clothes gray..
Natsu: you were provoking me dirty slimeball
Gray: oh and what did I say to provoke you fire clown
Lucy: sigh ..idiots
Suddenly the door burst open and loki came in looking terrified
Loki: BAD NEWS EVERYONE
Everyone looked at Loki wondering what's going on
Loki: its Erza she's on her way here
Everyone looked shocked and got scared
Lucy: your kidding even saying her name terrifies everyone …this will get interesting
Mira: well she is one of the strongest wizards here and mostly intimidating
Lucy: so ive heard
Later they heard footsteps and finally she appeared at the guild hall holding a giant horn Erza stops and puts down the giant horn next to her
Erza: I have returned where is the master?
Lucy: (so that's Erza huh)
Mira: welcome back Erza the master is at the conference right now
Erza: is see
:so uhh whats with the giant horn?
Erza: it's the horn from the monster I defeated they locals were thankful they decorate it and gave it to me do you have a problem with that!?
:NO NO PROBLEM AT ALL
Lucy laughed a little enjoying this
Lucy: (pff hehe I like her already)
Cana: I bet she heard what happened at mount hakobe
Macao: you think so ohh boy im a goner…
Lucy: she's not what I imaged from all the story's but its still impressive
Erza then looked at the rest of the guild mates
Erza: now listen up!
Everyone: eeek
Erza: while I was on the road I heard that fairy tail caused a lot of trouble again master Makarov doesn't care much but I do Cana start controlling your drinking Fijiter take the dancing outside Wakaba get rid of that filthy habit
Then Erza looked at Nab
Erza: Nab of course your at the board again just pick a job already!
Finally she looked at Macao
Erza: Macao!
Macao: err
Erza: sigh
Macao: please just say something!
Erza: I don't even know where to begin with you you caused so much trouble I almost gave up
Lucy: shes really tearing into everyone..cool
Happy: that's Erza for ya
Erza: are Natsu and gray here?
Happy: yup over here
Natsu and Gray held each other close like their were best buddies
Gray: oh hey Erza we were just hanging out just like good friends right Natsu?
Natsu: aye!
Lucy: natsu talking like happy now ive seen everything how did that happened?
Mira: oh he challenged Erza to a fight and he got beaten up pretty good
Lucy: oof I don't know her strength but that must have been a stupid idea and gray?
Macao: she saw Gray walking naked and beat him up to
Lucy: should have know
Erza: good its great to see you two get along together like the best friends you are
Gray: don't know if were the best of friends
Natsu:..aye
Erza: and finally where is our new comrade I heard about?
Lucy steppes forward and bowed
Lucy: im here my names Lucy its nice to meet
Erza looked at Lucy and she was indeed an angel at first she couldn't believe the story's she heard the Master told her most of the story while she was on her job but now she met Lucy in person she doesn't doubt it anymore
Erza: ..so its true the master told me the story but it was hard to believe..
Lucy: you weren't the only one ..i guess the master told you the whole story?
Erza gave a sad look at the angel and puts a hand on her shoulder
Erza: yes I cant imagen and believe the pain you went through im so sorry
Lucy sighed and gave a small smile
Lucy: thank you yes a lot has happened and nothing can changed the past but I got a new family to move forward with it and I as I said before I wil keep living for my people
everyone smiled at her and Erza admire her strength for moving forward and offers lucy her hand
Erza: then im proud to call you my friend welcome to fairy tail
Lucy took her hand and shook it
Lucy: thanks Erza
Erza: now then Natsu Gray I need a favor
Natsu and Gray: huh?
Erza: while I was traveling I heard something that has me worried normally I would talk with it with the Master but this situation is urgent and it cant wait
Gray and Natsu looked serious
Erza: Natsu Gray you two are the strongest wizards here I'm asking for your help
Everyone gasp no one thought Erza would ever asked for help with a job
Erza: we will meet at the train station tomorrow
Natsu: oke but I want Luce to come to she wil be a great help
Gray: I agree I saw her in action and she's quiet strong to
Erza: alright are you okay with it Lucy?
Lucy: of course count me in
Natsu: awesome!
Mira: oh wow I never saw this coming with Natsu Gray Erza and Lucy in one team together this could be the most powerful team of fairy tail
Tomorrow morning Lucy was sitting on a bench holding plue and with Happy waiting for Erza to come while Natsu and Gray are insulting each other again
Natsu: AARGH teaming up with you is the worst idea ever
Gray: yeah tell me about it Erza made a huge mistake asking a loser like you to come to
Natsu: fine then go by yourself then
Gray: fine by me then I can watch Erza beat you senseless
Lucy: ..sigh if anyone ask we don't know them
Happy: aye
Erza: my apologize for the wait were you waiting long
Lucy: nah don't worry about….that
Lucy saw that Ezra brought with her a lot of luggage filling a whole cart
Happy: woa soo much stuff
Lucy: ..you know what nothing surprises me anymore
Natsu and Gray were back to being "buddy's''again when Erza showed up
Gray: its time to go buddy
Natsu: aye haha
Lucy: pff stil funny this
Erza: good im happy to see you two getting along better now lets get going
Natsu: wait Erza before we go I have one condition
Gray: shut up idiot
Erza: oh and what may that be?
Natsu: when we get back I want a rematch
Gray: are you crazy want a deathwish?
Natsu: I got a lot stronger than before this time will be different because this time I will win
Erza: hmm yes I can see you have improved well and for beating me we will have to see..alright I wil accept your challenge
Lucy: this will be interesting when we get back
Natsu: alright IM FIRED UP NOW
Later on the train everyone was sitting comfy …except Natsu of course
Gray: I swear your pathetic Natsu
Natsu: bluerrg ….why..couldnt we….just…fly ahead Luce….?
Lucy: sorry Natsu but I told you it wouldn't be fair for Gray and Erza and I want to travel together
Natsu: urrgh
Erza: I appreciate it Lucy
Gray: yeah not everyone can fly flame for brains
Natsu: what..you say…ooh
Natsu couldn't take it and fell over on Lucy's lap Lucy felt a little bad for Natsu having to deal with this the whole journey so instead of pushing him off she started putting her hand trough his hair massaging his head smiling a little
Lucy: (giggle) poor guy
Natsu blushed a little by this but whatever she's doing it worked he isn't feeling that sick anymore and started to relax
Happy: hey he's looking a little better
Erza: looks like what your doing helps him with his motion sickness I wanted to knock him out but this works to
Gray: at least he's not complaining anymore
Lucy: I thought I tried something never guessed it works ( I must admit he looks cute like this)
Realizing what she thought she blushed a little but quickly hides it she doesn't want them to tease her about this
Gray: anyway its time you fill us in Erza what kind of mission are we going for?
Lucy got serious to
Erza: right I have reason to believe the dark guild eisenwald is planning something big im not sure what is it but it has to do with the magic item lullaby
Lucy's eyes widen
Lucy: wait did you said lullaby?
Happy: that from before..
Erza: you heard it before?
Meanwhile at the eisenwald guild
: I heard kageyama finally got back to us
: yeah he said he found it
: the moment of truth has arrived gentlemen this means were on step closer to achieving our goals the guild master will be to busy they wont even realize what will hit them
Back at the train Lucy explained that they encounted a group of wizards trying to took Happy from them but quickly defeated them and tied them to a tree but someone took them and before they got snatched by the shadow they heard one of them saying lullaby
Erza: I see so you guys have run into eisenwald before?
Gray: im not sure they were from eisenwald but they did mention lullaby
Lucy: I think they did my guess is they wanted nothing to do with it and dropped out and went into hiding but someone from Eisenwald must have found them and took them
Erza: I think your right about that Lucy they didn't want their plans getting out
Gray: so that thing is so bad it even scares dark wizards?
Lucy: any idea what they wanna pull?
Erza: maybe let me start at the beginning just the other day when I was heading home I stopped by a pub in onibas I heard a couple of wizards arguing about they found lullaby but cant do nothing about it yet but one wizard said he will be back in three days with lullaby
Lucy: this lullaby isn't it a sort of song to put the kids to sleep?
Erza: yes and the fact that its sealed away must means that it is a powerful and dangerous magic
Gray: you sure those guys were with eisenwald?
Erza: yes I cant believe what a fool I was that day
Lucy: what do you mean?
Erza: I heard a name I didn't recognize before Erigor the leader of eidenwald he only accepts assassination request which earned him the name Erigor the reaper
Lucy got a little angry hearing this
Lucy: that bastard only kills for money..that is seriously pissing me off
Erza: when the council banned assassination request eisenwald decided money was more important then the counsels rules and by that they were kicked out of their guild league six years ago but that didn't stopped them disobeying orders and remained active this day ..dammit if I only recognized Erigors name that day I could have stopped them I could force them to tell me their scheme
Lucy: don't beat yourself up for it Erza if you didn't discover what they were planning none of us would have know about it
Erza was thankful of Lucy's words knowing she's right and smiled to the angel
Gray: so if got this eisenwald is planning something big and you wanna stop them because of what you overheard it sounded its gonna be very bad
Erza: that's right and im not a fool I know I cant stop them alone so that's why I ask you guys to come we are gonna storm the eisenwald guild
Gray: sounds like fun to me
Happy: aye!
Lucy: im ready for them
After a short stop at a train station to get some food while Natsu fell asleep earlier Lucy was curious what Erza's magic is
Lucy: hey Erza if you don't mind me asking what kind of magic do you use?
Erza: not at al it's a good question
Happy: Erza,s magic is really pretty she make her enemies bleed a lot
Lucy: ..uhm that's pretty?…
Erza: well personally I think Grays magic is more beautiful than mine
Lucy: oh yeah I haven't seen your magic to
Gray: what this?
Gray then holds his fist in his other hand creating an mini ice emblem of the guild
Lucy: how pretty
Gray: I use ice magic
Lucy: is that reason you and Natsu always fights like fire and ice don't mix?
Erza: I never thought about that
Gray: nahhh I just hate his guts
A few hours later they made it to onibas station unloading their luggage and making their way out of the station
Gray: you sure eisenwald will still be here in this town
Erza: I have no idea that what were going to find out
Lucy: ..hey wait a minute..are we forgetting so…oh no
They turned around and it was already to late the train already left with Natsu still on the train everyone dumbfounded about what just happened
Happy: ..there he goes
Lucy: ..what have I done
Erza: I'm such a fool I didn't think about Natsu to and he hates transportation this is all my fault one of you needs to hit me
Lucy laid a hand on her shoulder
Lucy: im not gonna hit you and I take responsibility il go fly after him and try to get him back
Lucy runs and unfolds her wings flying after the train Erza staring at the angel
Erza: she really has a kind spirit im glad she is with us …I stil cant believe she lost everything her home and her own people and was frozen for a 100 years she should be broken about it…
Gray: right you weren't there that moment you wouldn't want to saw her that day… when she woke up she was so scared and confused and you almost could feel the pain it was unbearable when she discovered how much time has past she disappeared for a moment but Natsu brought her back we didn't know what happened that moment but eventually he brought her back and then she joined the guild Natsu later explained she wanted to give up that she had no reason to live
Erza: ..my god the poor girl
Gray: yeah..but later she felt better and natsu told us shes now determent to keep living for her people but I think most importantly she doesn't want to be alone to
Erza then gave a determent look
Erza: she wont be alone we are her family and we wil always stand by her no matter what
Gray smiled
Gray: same here
Erza: lets go after Lucy we need to catch up with them
Gray: right but how are we going to catch up?
Erza: hmmm I have an idea
With Natsu in the train feeling miserable a guy walked by seeing Natsu,s guildmark
:hmm a fairy tail wizard huh
Then the guy walked up to natsu
:how's the guild life treating you still worth sticking around?
Natsu: what?
Suddenly the man kicked him in the face holding his foot there
:don't act all high and mighty because your in a legal guild mister fairy you guys just blindly following the counsel you guys are just harmless little fly's haha
He jumped back when Natsu light up his fists but quickly went out because of his motion sickness
Natsu: you..humph
:what kind of magic was that? Let me show you how its done
Then the man hit natsu with his shadow magic
Natsu: urgh.. that magic
:ha like I said harmless little fly's
Suddenly he felt a sharp object pointing at his back
Lucy: stil think were harmless?
The man looked back and saw that lucy pointed a sword at his back
:tsk where did you come from
He disappears into the shadows moving away from them
Natsu: heh ..nice timing ..luce
Lucy then steps in front of Natsu still pointing her sword to him
Lucy: you must be from eisenwald
:yeah so what?
Lucy: tell us what your planning to do
:that's none of you business
The man was ready to attack but Suddenly the train starts to stop all losing their balance and stumbles to the ground and a weird flute fell on the ground
With Erza she pulled the lever of the emergency stop for the train
Conductor: what do you think your doing you cant pull on the emergency break without permission
Erza: its for our comrade please understand
Conductor: are you kidding me?
Erza: now would you please bring our luggage to our hotel
Conductor: do I look like a bellhop to you?
Gray: …typical
Happy: that's Erza for ya
Back at the train
Natsu: few the train stopped thank god you alright Luce?
Lucy: yeah im fine
Then natsu noticed the strange flute on the ground
Natsu : a flute?
:dammit you saw it
Natsu: that's enough out of you {FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST}
:{GUARD SHADOW}
The man tried to block the attack but he got knocked back a little
:tsk lucky shot try this{SHADOW BLAST}
He tried to attack natsu again but Lucy stood in front of him
Lucy: I don't think so {HEAVENS HOLY SHIELD}
Lucy's wings went forward creating a shield of light and blocked the attack
:what the hell are you an angel?
Lucy: I am don't you try hurt my friend again
Suddenly the train started to move again bringing them both out of balance again and Natsu getting sick again giving the man the chance to attack
:heh see you around fairy{SHADOW KNUCKLE}
Natsu: argh!
He then knocked Natsu out of the train
Lucy: natsu!
Lucy flew after Natsu catching him before he hit the ground and flew up
Natsu: few that was close thanks Luce
Lucy holds Natsu tighter
Natsu: Luce?
Lucy: you had me worried dammit …
Natsu: ..im sorry Luce
Lucy: …please just be careful next time
Natsu squeezed her arm
Natsu: I will
Later they reunited with Gray and Erza they wernt far from them they were riding after them with a magic mobile
Erza: are you two alright?
Natsu: yeah were good but we got attack by some weirdo
Lucy: im afraid he was from eisenwald
Erza: what! Is that true?
Lucy: yea he was the one who took the 5 wizards we told you about
Erza them got back to the magic mobile getting ready to go after him
Erza: so he was on the same train huh we must go after him
Gray: what did he looked like?
Natsu: well he didn't looked like someone from a dark guild ..except he had a strange flute with him it had a skull with three eyes
Gray: dam that's creepy
Lucy: wait ..strange flute ..skull with three eyes..
Happy: hm something wrong Lucy?
Everyone looked at Lucy
Lucy: …I recognize that flute I read about in one of the books from this world..lullaby..it comes together now.. it's a cursed song…its death magic!
Erza: what!
Gray: a cursed song?
Lucy: while I was reading and studying this world I came across a book about deadly spells that dark wizards used and are now forbidden
Erza: that's right dark magic that will kill the person that there used on
Lucy: ..and lullaby's even worse …that bastard
While on the train station in kunugi the eisenwald guild was busy taking over the train
Erigor: this train belongs to eisenwald now get everyone of the train luggage conducters all of it if someone defi us kill them all
:well look whos here
Erigor: kageyama I heard you were coming back aboard this train the train got wrecked care to explain what happened?
Kageyama: aren't you interested what I brought back with me?
He then took out the flute
Kageyama; I finally managed to break the seal
Erigor: excellent
Erigor took the flute from kageyama
Erigor: this is it men the forbidden lullaby original its was a tool to casting simple death curses usefull but limited that is until the great black wizard zeref turned it to a demon flute now its song will kill hundreds thousand at once putting them all in a endless sleep and its all mine
Back to the team Erza drives as fast as she could heading towards eisenwald
Gray: slow down Erza your using to much of your power driving this thing!
Erza: I have no choice we have to hurry were running out of time if Erigor gets that magic lives will be lost!
Erza(curse them what are they hoping to achieve with this?)
Lucy was in the back thinking the same thing but was more pissed they want to put innocent lives in danger
Lucy: ( whatever their plan is we will stop them I wont let them put innocent lives in danger)
hiyya hope you like the chapter maybe you noticed im trying to puth some nalu moments in it but i dont want to go to fast with them just gotta be patient a little ;) see ya guys in the next chapter
