chapter 21 the final battle of the students
inside the temple of Galuna island Gray is facing against Lyon but he struggles to defeat him in his last attempt he is preparing to use the iced shell to trap Lyon and sacrificing himself
Gray: your time is up Lyon!
Lyon: NO!
Gray: ICED SHEL
Natsu: SHUT UP!
before Gray could complete the spell Natsu punched him in the face stopping the spell both Gray and Lyon looks surprised
Gray: ... natsu!
Natsu: you cant just bust in here and steal the scene with a bunch of fancy talk get to the back of the line pal!
Gray: back of what line?
Natsu: i was here first so its my fight
Gray: what when i got here the first words out of my mouth were leave him to me!
Natsu: yeah and i said no way man like a second after that

then Gray got angry and stood up and grabbed Natsu by the scarf
Gray: i don't care who said what if got a score to settle with him you understand and I'm ready to die if that's what i got to do!
then Natsu grabbed Gray,s wrist tightly looking pissed
Natsu: yeah..and how is dying gonna settle it huh cause it sounds like your running away to me
Gray's eyes widened after hearing that they kept staring at each other for a moment when the whole chamber started to shake

meanwhile with Erza Lucy and Happy they fight off a group of followers of the cold emperor both Lucy and Erza slash their enemies with their swords while happy throw some food at them but they keep coming

suddenly the whole ground started to shake stopping them on their tracks
Erza: what is that sound?
Lucy looks around her and then she looks behind her
Lucy: ..no way it cant be
they all see that the temple is standing back straight again
Happy: wow the temple just untitled itself!

Gray:..this bad now the moon is gonna shine on Deliora again
then zalti made his appearance
Zalti: pardon the interruption
Lyon: I've should have known i take it you did this?
Zalti: yes i did sir the moon will be out soon so i thought i take the liberty of straightening the temple for you

Zalti then looks at Natsu ..then began to laugh

then Gray charged at Lyon with his fist getting the first hit but Lyon was faster and punched Gray in the stomach

watching from the side were master Makarov and a younger Erza watching how the fight will turn out
both punched each other again Natsu was knocked back laying on the ground and Gray was bent over hands on his knees

then he turns his back to him

Gray was surprised he was still standing then he smiled

now Gray was still sitting on the floor both breathing heavily
Lyon: that settles it your no match for me after all
Lyon turns around and wanted to walk away

they both charged at each other again both fist hit each other in the face but this time Lyon was knocked back hitting the wall

Gray quickly freed himself by slamming his elbow into the dragon destroying it falling to the ground
Gray: tsk i thought we agreed not to use magic Lyon!
Lyon: don't be such a sore loser this duel was pointless from the start Deliora will be revived either way its far to late to stop me now!
Gray: urg i wont stop trying!
Lyon: try all you want but Zalti is preparing to start the moon drip ceremony as we speak

right on que the ice surrounding deliora begins to melt away slowly

deliora let again a giant roar as if it let knows that it is free

he sees it all the flashbacks from when it happened the village the destruction the sacrifice
