heeyy guys here is finally the next chapter ..well part of it i promise its not a WIP well sort of but ill explain it at the end of the chapter
here is chapter 23 hope you guys enjoy it!
chapter 23 a grave of darkness
in the midst of the village Ezra just announced that they finally going to destroy the moon and requiped in one of her armors
Erza: Natsu were going to destroy the moon
Natsu: really!
Gray and Happy: HUUH!?
Erza: its the only way to change them back into their human forms
all the villagers cheered as they heard the plan
: their really gonna do it we get to watch it happened!
: that's right and we all are finally gonna be human again!
Lucy didn't said anything and just waited in the center
Natsu: where you wanna go do you think we should climb up to the top of the temple its a lot higher up there
Erza: we will do it from here the villagers cant go near the temple and they need to witness it
then Erza looked at Lucy they made eye contact for a little then Lucy turned away
Gray: i don't know what she's thinking i mean she can do some amazing things but still
Happy: i know isn't this exiting!
Gray: your missing the point here...
then Erza showed her armor to the villagers
Erza: this is giant armor in increases my strength that allows me to throw farther and this
then a magic circle appeared from her hand and summons an huge and heavy spear
Erza: this is the spear of haja it repels darkness
the villagers were all impressed of her armor and weapon
Natsu: wow i get it now your gonna use that spear to knock the moon out of the sky!
Gray and Happy: (give me a break that's never gonna work...)
Erza: that's right but I'm afraid i need more strength then this armor can give me so Natsu I'm gonna need your fire power as a boost
Natsu: huh
Erza: whenever i begin throwing the spear i want you to hit it on the back with your flames now we wil have to time it perfectly but i think you should give me just enough power to do the job
Natsu: sounds like a killer plan to me
Erza: i dont think it will but should the timing be wrong or it hasn't enough boost to hit it then Lucy wil fly up there and uses her magic to give it its last push that's our back up plan
Lucy: ..right
Gray: ..you gotta be kidding me even Lucy is in it you don't seriously think they gonna pull this off?
Happy: its official ..they lost it .hey speaking of Lucy don't you thinks she's not herself lately?
Gray: i noticed it to i thought she would be more exited to finally lift the demon curse?
Happy: aye i wonder what's wrong...
later Erza and Natsu both climbed up a watchtower to put Erza,s pan in motion then Erza holds her spear and gets ready to throw it charging up her armor to
Erza: NOW!
Natsu: right!
then just a second before throwing the spear Natsu hit the back of the spear with his flames giving the spear the boost it needed and then fly,s straight at the moon
Happy: she did it!
Gray: ..this is bad
the spear fly's higher and higher into the sky like a rocket flying at its target everyone was shocked and watches with open mouths as the spear is heading towards the moon
Erza: almost there!
then there was a flash of light as the spear made contact with its target the villagers awaited for something to happen then suddenly the moon begins to crack
Happy and Gray: NOO WAYY!
Lucy: ..looks like i wasn't needed
then Lucy made her way back to her team
the moon cracks more and more but then not only the moon cracks a part of the sky began to crack to and then the sky breaks open and the moon remains but back in its original color
Natsu: the moon!
moka: its still there!
a big part of the sky was broken open the light of the real moon shines and small glistering pieces of the sky rains down Lucy held her hand up catching the falling pieces
Lucy: (so Erza was right )...
Natsu: wha what is going on!?
Erza: as a result of the spell an noxious membrane was covering the island
Natsu: a what?
Erza: the moon drip released evil energy in the form of an gas that gas crystalized and formed an invisible shell in the sky that covered the island thats why the moon looked purple here
then all the villagers began to glow with golden light
Erza: now that the shell has been broken everything will go back the way it was 3 years ago
when the light died down the villagers were still in their demon forms
Gray: what's wrong their not transforming
Happy: oh no
then Natsu and Erza came down
Erza: that's because these are their true forms the moon drip had never affect on their body's however it seems it altered their memory's
Lucy: ..
Happy: huh i dont get it
Erza: they think they are humans transformed into demons but its the other way around
Gray: so ..that means
Erza: yup you got it
Natsu Gray Happy: WHAAT!
Gray: H HEY IS THAT TRUE
: well maybe my memory is hazy we all looked pretty human when you met us right?
Erza: yes because you possesses the ability to take on human form your false memory's let you believe that your temporary state were actually your true forms in reality you were demons who had fallen victim to the moon drips side effects
Natsu: wait a minute how come it didnt affect Lyon and his lacky,s when they got here
Erza: i assume its because they are human as far as i can tell demons were the only one affected by the memory loss i knew what was going on when the villagers told me they were unable to go to the temple the moonlight collected there was sacred therefor creatures of darkness couldn't go near it
then automatically the all look at Lucy checking on her and her reaction but she remains silent
Happy: ..lucy..are you
Gray: did you..
then Erza laid a hand on her shoulder and looks at her sadly
Erza: ..yes she already knew ..
flashback
when the team was walking back to the safepoint after defeating deliora Erza took Lucy apart from the rest of the team wanting to talk to her in private Erza knew what she discovered after what Lyon told them
Erza: ..you figure it out didn't you Lucy.
Lucy: what that they are demons from the start that they lied to us from the start!
Erza flinched a little she never heard Lucy like this so much hate
Erza: i dont think that's really the case here
Lucy: then what Erza explain it to me give me a good reason for me not to destroy them right now!
out of anger she took out her sword
Erza: Lucy stop please calm down for a moment
Erza stopped Lucy in her tracks putting her hand on her chest Lucy looked at Erza with hatred but soon died down after she saw the worry in Erza,s eyes then she took a few deep breaths and calmed down and puts her sword away
Lucy: ... oke then ..tell me what you think
Erza nodded and explained her theory and later her plan
present
Gray: .so that's why you wasn't yourself lately when we got here
Happy: oh lucy...
Natsu: ...
: your quit the detective i knew i could trust you and your friends
suddenly a familiar voice walked to them shocking Gray Lucy and Natsu
: thanks wizards i owe you one
Happy: whaaa a ghost
Gray: your the guy from the boat!
Moka: ..b bobo?
Moka staff was trembling not believing who was standing there
: wha but i though you were!?
Bobo : getting stabbed to the chest hurt pretty bad but you gotta do more then that to kill a demon hahah
Gray: but on the boat you just disappeared into thin air
suddenly he disappears again
Gray and Happy: Whaa!
Bobo: i really hope you kids can forgive me for not telling the truth sooner
they looked up to see that he has wings on his back
Gray: he can fly!?
bobo: i was the only one who didn't had any memory loss i had to leave because everyone went nuts i knew i was a demon but everybody else thought they were cursed humans hahaha
Moka: oh..bobo
Moka,s eyes were filled with tears stil not believing his son is alive then he unwrapped his wings and flew right at him giving him a big hug while smiling in tears
Bobo: im so glad you finally snapped out of it pops
Lucy,s eyes widened she saw tears ..actually tears from a demon and they were smiling with happiness all things she would never recognize in a demon lucy then closed her eyes and lets go of her sword which she held al that time Erza noticed that and smiled at her
Erza: im proud of you Lucy you did the right thing
but Lucy didn't said anything and looks to the ground
the rest of the villagers were all smiling they all unfold their wings and joined them in the air celebrating
: he,s alive!
: we got Bobo back
the team watch them celebrate in the air and they all smiled
Erza: ..they are ineed demons
Natsu: i dont know if you look at their faces they kinda look like ang- BIRDS EHH LOOK LIKE HAPPY BIRDS TO ME
Gray:( to close idiot)
Lucy: ..its fine Natsu i know what you wanna say ... but your wrong ..
lucy then turns around
Lucy: they are nothing like angels
then Lucy unfolds her wings and fly's away from the village
Natsu: luce wait!
Natsu wanted to go after Lucy but Erza stopped him
Erza: let her go Natsu .. she needs some time alone
Natsu: .sigh
:lets have a feast tonight to celebrate!
a moment later lots of tables with were placed with food and everyone enjoyed their time eating the food Natsu was busy eating fire form the torches and gray was sitting on the ground drinking
: hey how are you feeling you sure are looking a lot better
Gray: sorry but do i know you?
: maybe this will help
she switch to her human form then Gray recognized her
Gray: oh i remember you
: i look a little different now huh
then she tunes back to her normal form
Gray: eh yeah
then the other girls gathered around him
: just so you know every girl in our village has totally fallen for you because we think your the coolest guy ever
: yes she's right we think your super awesome
: but you think were probably cuter in our human forms don't you?
Gray: uhm no thats not necessarily true i think you ladies are fine the way you are
: omg you gotta be the sweetest guy ever
: you know just what to say to a girl
: lets hit the dance floor we will teach you the demon wiggle waggle (wonder how that goes XD)
then Gray was pulled away with the girls to the dance floor
Erza: wel he seems popular today
Happy: he will scare them off sooner or later
Moka: well i must admit i was wrong about humans
Erza: hm
Moka: all of those years chosen to hide from the outside world we were so afraid the others would judge us by our appearance
Bobo: you know the curse that was just a rumor we spread so no one would come to this island and bother us
Happy: well that definitely worked all the sailors by the dock were totally scared of this place
Moka: i know and its a shame but after meeting you we have changed our minds you restored our faith in humans and now were not afraid we are ready to go out and see the other lands
Erza: thats good friendship is a beautiful thing its an emotional bond that transcends once psychical appearance
everyone smiled and nodded in agreement
Bobo: hey by the way aren't we missing one of your friends the one with the angel wings?
Moka: yeah indeed did something happened?
everyone became quiet and looks at the table sadly
Erza: ...there is something you should know about her .
after awhile Erza told mostly Lucy,s story to them they al looked horrified and shocked
: ..that's absolute horrible
: the poor girl
Bobo: unbelievable now i understand why she took her distance from us i cant imagen the pain she must feel right now
Moka: hmm
Erza: please don't take her hatred for demons the wrong way Lucy has an heart of gold but after what happened left an incredible scar on her heart and carries the hate towards other demons ..
Moka: we understand of course it would be difficult to trust us after what happened .. there may be something i can do
both Happy and Erza looked at each other wondering how he could help Lucy
with Lucy she is sits high on a cliff with a clear view of the village sitting with her knees to her chest and arms crossed lookin down and sad she was deep in her thoughts when she suddenly heard movements behind her
Lucy: ..that's far enough ..don't get any closer
it was Moka that appeared behind her stopping in his tracks
Moka: do you mind if i sit here the party is all fun but this old man needs his space to sometimes
Lucy didn't said anything and Moka sits to looking at the view
Moka: you picked the perfect place here its my favorite place to go on the whole island watching the full moon from here and the view of the village ..you never get tired of it not to mention very peaceful and-
Lucy: why are you here?
she said with a harsh tone Moka was quiet for a moment then sighed
Moka: .. there is something i want to show you ..wil you fly with me?
Lucy: ..why should i trust you?
Moka: you dont have to dear girl ..just for a moment thats all i ask
Lucy hesitated very quickly having no reason to follow him but then she saw the look in his eyes she felt no evil from those eyes then she sighed
Lucy: if you even try one thing
Moka: i know please follow me
Moka unwrapped his wings and fly,s up in the sky Lucy did the same and fly,s after Moka they flew for a few minutes when they arrived at the other side of the island and landed on the ground
Lucy: ..why did you brought me here?
Moka: ..years ago something crashed here on this side of the island
Moka tells his story while they walked trough the jungle
Moka: .. a very big object fell from the heavens i was very little when it happened nobody wanted to investigate it because they were scared and didn't wanted to get near but this foolish one decided to go for an adventure and went to seek it ..what i have discovered ..it was evil
then as Moka pushed away the last few leaves blocking their way Lucy gasped and looks with wide eyes shocking her for what she sees
Lucy: ..my god..
back at the village Natsu Gray Happy and Erza were sitting together still enjoying the party eating and drinking
Natsu: hey anyone knows where Luce is im getting worried
Gray: yeah same here we shouldn't be feasting like this while she,s all alone
Happy: yeah we gotta cheer her up
Erza: you guys are right lets go find her anyone knows where she is?
all of them are quiet and thinking where she could be when suddenly Natsu sees her flying to them
Natsu: ohh there she is!
Happy: hey lucy!
Lucy landed in front of them they all looked at her worried when they saw her look o her face
Natsu: luce what's wrong
Gray: you really have to ask idiot!
Natsu: DONT CALL ME AN IDIOT ICE CONE
Gray: BRING IT FLAMEDORK
Lucy: guys stop ..its not that ..not really
Erza: then what is it?
Lucy: happy grab Natsu ..i have to show you guys something
later when the rest of the team arrived at the location the walked trough the jungle heading to where Moka awaits
Gray: so what is it you wanted to show us
Natsu: what did you find oh oh is it treasure!
Happy: cha ching!
Lucy: ..no im afraid not ..its something from my past
Erza: oh is it more ruins of your city?
they arrived at the spot just before Lucy reveals it
Lucy: ..no the opposite
Lucy moved the last of the leaves revealing what they have found all eyes and mouths widened with shock at the scene before them
Natsu: ..wha what the
Gray: the hell!?
Erza: n no way
what they saw was an huge purple object almost looking like a ship in pieces and surrounding that area where big things sticking in the ground almost looking like little pillars
Natsu: ..Luce ..what is this?
Lucy: ..this is one of the smaller ships they used to invade my home .. they were drop ships bringing their soldiers to ground ...there where so many of them
Happy: its ..its so big
Gray: no kidding ..
Moka: ..so that what it is..
Lucy then began to walk closer to the area then saw something she knows all to much
Lucy: and this...
Lucy picks up the object and ignites it
Lucy: ..looking familiar?
what she ignites was the same sword she uses in battle but this one was colored purple
Erza: that sword ..its the same you uses ..wait your sword was a demon weapon?
Lucy: ..yeah it was but i used my magic to banish the darkness away and turned it into a weapon of light
Lucy closed his eyes and concentrated then light appears on the weapon and the purple color began to vanish and in its place came an golden glow and slowly became a weapon of light
Happy: wooow pretty
when the weapon was purified she tucks it away and walked to one of the pillars then a darker look appeared on her face
Lucy: when i told you guys my story you all must wondered sometimes how they looked like right?
they all became quiet not knowing what to say
Lucy: ..well now you will know
Lucy then kicks hard on the pillar looking object the front broke open and what then fell out
Happy: whaaa!
a monstrous skeleton wearing armor fell out of it again shocking the rest of the team
Erza: oh my god that was the demon kind you fought!
Gray: what the hell that's what they looked like that's not normal!
Moka: how monstrous ..how evil
Natsu was quiet for a moment then walked to the skeleton
Natsu: ..so ..this was the demon who attacked you ..the same kind?
Lucy: Natsu?
then Natsu ignites his fists and smash the skeleton to pieces surprising everyone then he burns al the other pillar looking pods destroying them
Natsu: this may be not much now but that's for all the pain you caused Luce you son of a bitch!
then other three then looked serious and angry feeling the same thing as the pillars were burned down by the fire making Lucy smile a little
Lucy: Natsu.. you guys ..thank you
then they all looked at Moka who watches from afar
Erza: you had a feeling this had something to do with her past didn't you?
Moka: a little yes when you told me her story i had a feeling it had a connection to her but to think those ..those things even existed ..absolute horrible ..i am truly sorry for what happened to you
Lucy: ..
Moka: there is one more thing please come this way
they followed Moka further the jungle in Lucy turns back for a moment to look at the ruined ship one last time before catching up with the others leaving it behind for good
Moka: there as one more thing that fell with it but i kept it safe and hidden somewhere i had a feeling it would reunite with the rightful owner
they later arrived at a cave that was blocked with a huge boulder
Gray: what did you keep here old man?
Moka: something very important i think would you be kindly to move the stone my old back cant handle that anymore
Natsu: sure thing
Both Natsu and Gray used their strength to push the huge boulder aside then they all walked inside the cave Natsu uses his flames to light up the path
Moka: when i found what is was i actually couldn't touch it when i tried it burned my hand with its magic
Erza: so its something against darkness?
Moka: yes i actually wanted to get rid of it because it can hurt us but something told me not to ..or someone that i had to keep it safe
Happy: wait someone?
Moka: were here
when they reached the end of the cave they saw something wrapped in cloth sticking in the ground then Lucy felt something familiar
Lucy:..this feeling
Moka: would you do the honor my dear ..i think this belongs to you
Lucy looked at Moka he smiled at her then she nodded and walked up to the mysterious object carefully she unwraps it and when it was fully unwrapped her eyes slowly widend and tears started to show
Natsu: Luce ..what is it
Lucy: ..my ..my master's
she pulled it out of the ground then she turns around to her friends to show it
Lucy: hic ..its my master's spear
it was a golden spear with blades on both sides broken with on each side on the middle the sign of her people and with wings sticking out on both sides
Happy: wooow pretty
Erza: its beautiful
Gray: ..you said it was your master,s?
Lucy wiped her tears away and took a deep breath
Lucy: yeah my master...his name was Adrios ..he was the one who taught me how to fight ..he was like a uncle to me
Gray: ..im so sorry Lucy
Lucy smiled at Gray
Lucy: thank you Gray ..let us go back
Lucy began to walk heading towards the exit with the spear in her hands but stops in her tracks
Lucy: ..just to be clear this wil not change how i feel about demons ..i wil always hate them
Moka only closed his eyes
Lucy: but
then Lucy turns her head towards Moka and smiles a little
Lucy: thank you ..for what you have done ...i wil never forget it
Moka,s eyes widened in surprise then he smiled at her an nodded
Lucy nodded back then she walks out of the cave the rest of the team smiled at each other and followed after Lucy
when they all returned to the village the party was still going and when they saw that Lucy has joined them they immediately toke her apart offering her drinks and teach her how to dance the demon wiggle waggle and this time Lucy smiled with them the rest of the team sat by the table enjoying the sight of her friend
Erza: i appreciate what you have done for Lucy she looks a lot better then before and you have earned her trust by saving her master,s spear i cant thank you enough
Natsu: same for all of us old man
Happy: aye!
Moka: it was no trouble at all im just happy i could returned something so precious to someone from who had gone trough so much..another reason to party more!
:yeahhh!
further away from the village on the cliff Sherry Toby and Yuka where watching from afar
Toby: grr are you really going down there?
Yuka: i have no choice it wouldn't be right to leave things the way they are now you just stay here with cold emperor Lyon okay
Toby: grrkg..
Sherry: we have to do this its all in the name of love
aannd this is where i stop for now the rest of the chapter wil come in the next part ..of course i can write the whole thing in one go but it would take to much time of it so i thought il do it in 2 parts
