Hey, It's Link's Twilight Princess!
I wrote this one-shot because I read Nightmare's profile in the game, Soul Caliber II. I love Nightmare and was compelled to write it. I wanted to portray his darkness and evil mind, also his past. Also how he feels when he kills people. I know it's creepy and when I read it after I was finished I got kind of weirded out. Anyway enjoy!

I am lost in a deep sea of darkness...
I am blinded by the need to kill...
To feel the warm blood gush through my fingers...
To lick my dead victim's limp body to satisfy my thirst...
I started out a man on a quest to bring my father back from death...
And I ended up being a merciless murderer, to feed my sword souls...
I wanted to bring back my father, no matter how many lives I had to end...
My sword took over my mind and I went crazy...
I killed anyone...
Anyone I could get my hands on...
Eventually all those people crept into my dreams...
I would wake up in a cold sweat, screaming...
All the faces...
The blood...
I fought off the urge to kill for a time...
I tried to bring my father back from death with the souls I had collected over the past year...
They weren't enough and I was horribly injured...
Years passed and my body is now mutated.
My soul is cold and don't care about life.
I don't have nightmares about my murders.
I want to kill.
I live for it...
That sound of slicing flesh...
The dying screams of my prey...
The fear in their eyes...
I did have one dream...
Something I didn't want to admit to myself...
I killed my father...
And I enjoyed it...
