a/n: I have to give a special thanks to Flowerchildtrm because with out her support of my writing and her knowledge of the world, people's attitudes and behaviors and just her being able to answer every single random question I get when writing these chapters I guarantee this story wouldn't be coming along so nicely so thank you really.

Elliot, Olivia and Lizzie arrived at Bernadette's beach home right around 5 that evening as Lizzie smiled looking around "looks like she's got more plants since the last time I saw her."

Elliot nodded and chuckled "ohh yeah she has she gets new ones just about every week. I've been telling her she's gonna run out of room out here for them sooner or later."

Olivia smiled some "she sure is, you've gotta admit they're beautiful though."

Elliot nodded some "your right they are," he said as he parked the car as once the 3 of them had gotten out every one was swarming them as Izzabella hugged Elliot tightly, Bernadette had Olivia in a hug and Kathleen was hugging Lizzie "I'm so glad your okay dear we were all so worried," Bernadette said not letting go.

Olivia smiled slightly and subtlely tried to move slightly after a couple moments because of her sore ribs "it's been a rough few days but I'm hanging in there."

She smiled and pulled her close again "that's so good to here, I'm hungry and we're all heading to red Lobster it'll be great to catch up with you two it's been a bit," she said as she then abruptly pulled away and hopped into the passenger seat of Olivia and Elliot's truck.

"Money's a little tight for us right now," Olivia tried to say but it was on deaf ears as she had already buckled herself in and shut the door "what's going on here?" Elliot asked.

Olivia sighed slightly "apparently your mom's decided that we're heading to red lobster to eat now," she said as Izzabella wrapped herself around Olivia wanting to be picked up.

"Careful kiddo mama has some booboos that we don't wanna accidentally hurt," Elliot said as he helped Liv sit down on his tailgate then gently placed Izzabella in her lap as while they embraced Elliot sighed and faced Olivia "tonight's really not a good night plates are outrageous there on Saturday nights."

Olivia nodded "I know El I tried to tell her we were tight on money but she's already buckled herself in to the truck."

Elliot sighed heavily "dammit, let me take our stuff in and talk to the girls, do you wanna go tonight?"

Olivia sighed slightly "I don't care either way but if we do decide to go tonight when it's this expensive we should all pay for our own plates."

"That's more than fair," Elliot said agreeing as he kissed her head "I'll be back in a couple minutes."

Olivia nodded her head slightly as once Elliot was gone she let out a sigh "just here for 3 minutes and mommy's already stressed out," she said softly as she kissed Izzabella's head.

Izzabella frowned slightly "I made sandcastles you wanna see them?"

Olivia smiled brightly "I'd love to kiddo, maybe we can see them once daddy's back."

Izzabella smiled and nodded happily as she pointed up to the sky "mommy look."

"I see that, it's clouds and birds. They're beautiful aren't they?"

Izzabella nodded "mmhmm rainbow!"

Olivia shook her head with a smile "not today, we don't have a rainbow today we only get rainbows right after it rains."

She nodded and frowned a little "I want rain then. Make it rain mommy?"

Olivia chuckled "I can't sweet girl," she said as she kissed her head.

"But you and daddy can do anything. Can't you make rain happen too?"

She smiled and shook her head "we can't sweetie but I can show you a rainbow would you like to see one?"

Izzabella nodded quickly as Olivia nodded and googled an image of one on her phone as she then showed it to her as she smiled brightly "rainbow!"

Olivia smiled "that's right sweetheart," she said as Izzabella's gaze then fixed on a small bird as she jumped down from Olivia's lap and started chasing it "whatcha doing kiddo?!" Olivia called.

Izzabella didn't respond as she was completely focused on her task as Olivia just watched her with a smile as soon the bird was gone and El, the older girls and Carl walked outside "we decided we can all go to Red Lobster like mom wants but each house hold is paying for their own plates, Liv honey you still okay with that? If your not just tell me and me and you can stay here."

Olivia nodded "I'm okay with it El I like their food, I'm worried about someone recognizing me from the news but I'll have to worry about that for a while."

Elliot nodded slightly and sat beside her on the tailgate "I won't let anyone bother you sweetheart I promise."

She nodded "I know you won't El, we can't all fit in our truck though, did you guys figure out how we're all gonna get there?"

He nodded "Kathleen, Maureen, Carl and Izzabella are gonna take Maureen's car and me, you, mom since she's already made herself comfortable and Lizzie will take ours is that alright?"

She nodded "yeah that's fine with me."

He nodded, kissed her head then stepped away as she sighed, got down from the tailgate and hopped in the back as Elliot sighed too then stepped over to Lizzie and handed her the keys "your driving."

"Really?!! YAY!!" she said as she took them from him eagerly "I've wanted to drive this truck ever since you got it."

Elliot smiled "well you'll have to thank your grandmother."

Lizzie nodded with a bright smile "oh I will dad! I will!" she said as she hopped into the drivers seat happily and Elliot got into the back with Liv as she smiled.

Elliot just kissed the side of her head and gave her a smile "drive carefully Lizzie," he said as a moment later both vehicles drove off.

"You could have just driven yourself you know," Bernadette said from the passenger seat "nobody likes back seat drivers."

"Yeah well," Elliot said through a shrug "what did you wanna eat so bad from there that you commandeered my passenger seat and didn't ask anybody else what they thought? I just had to pay a 6,000 dollar fine we don't have the money for Red Lobster on a Saturday night mama..."

She smiled "their lobster of course, I wanted some of their amazing lobster tails. You and Olivia both need to loosen up a little, be more carefree life is to short to worry about saving every penny."

Elliot sighed "this is why you need to take your pills mama when your not on them you act this way, don't get me wrong spontaneity has a place in life but you didn't consider anybody, anything," he sighed and shook his head "you know what lets just have a nice meal, we'll talk about this later."

Bernadette smiled slightly "look at that red brick house, what is it three stories? I bet it looks great around the holidays with Christmas lights, did you hang up Christmas lights last year Elliot?"

Elliot sighed heavily and clinched his jaw as Olivia rubbed his back and his face gradually softened "yes I did," he said.

Bernadette nodded with a bright smile "that's great it really is, Gladys's friend Philip helped put mine up for me, we painted them purple and yellow."

Olivia, who was usually quiet when Bernadette rambled couldn't help but speak up now "why?" That doesn't, that doesn't flow..."

Bernadette smiled "I thought it looked beautiful, what color were yours?"

"We had some whites, blue's and greens," Olivia said.

Bernadette frowned "that's to bland if you want people to pay attention to your decorations you have to make them stand out more."

Elliot sighed "standing out isn't always good mama sometimes especially where we live it's better to blend in."

She frowned slightly "what happened to your creativity Elliot?"

He sighed "I am creative but in the suburbs you have to be creative in tasteful ways."

Bernadette sighed "why? So people will think your perfect? You shouldn't ever care what people think of you honey you can't be your true self that way."

"I am my true self," Elliot said adamantly.

Bernadette shook her head "no your not you wanted to be an architect."

Elliot sighed heavily "we've been over this already."

She nodded "maybe so but you didn't hear me then."

Elliot sighed "I heard you but like I said then I have responsibility's and that was a phase, I was 8 years old then," he sighed "Lizzie what did you wanna be when you grew up when you were 8?"

Lizzie sighed "I'm not getting in the middle of this argument."

Elliot nodded slightly "okay fine, Liv what did you wanna be when you grew up when you were 8?"

Olivia smiled slightly "I wanted to be a dancer."

Bernadette smiled brightly "that's awesome why didn't you pursue it? I bet you were great at it."

Olivia sighed "I didn't pursue it because I found my real calling later in life and that was to help sexual assault victims."

She nodded "what if your real calling was dancing though?"

Olivia shook her head "it wasn't it was just a hobby, a phase just like Elliot went through a phase of enjoying to build towers with blocks, every one goes through it," she said as Lizzie sighed "I think we should all just agree to disagree now because we're here."

"Sounds great to me," Olivia said nodding as Bernadette just sighed, shrugged her shoulders and stepped out of the car "you brought some money right? Me and Olivia aren't paying every one's ticket tonight," Elliot said as he and Olivia walked slightly behind Bernadette with intertwined hands.

Bernadette nodded slightly "my debit card's in my pocket."

Elliot nodded "good," he said as the eight of them walked in together, Izzabella holding Kathleen's hand "we need a table for 8 please," Elliot said to the hostess.

She nodded her head "yes sir, this way please," she said leading them to 2 tables put together "I wanna sit by mommy," Izzabella said.

Kathleen nodded "we can try to make that happen kiddo," she said as soon every one was seated as Olivia sat between Izzabella and Elliot as Kathleen sat on her other side, Bernadette sat across from Kathleen, Lizzie sat across from Izzabella and Mo and Carl sat across from Liv and El "do we all want some biscuits?" Elliot asked.

"Of course," every one said in unison as he slightly smiled and nodded "every one get to looking at the menus, we don't wanna be sitting here forever trying to decide what we want," he said as he started looking.

Every one nodded their heads at him as Olivia read the kids menu to Izzabella as she smiled brightly when she mentioned a plate with chicken fingers, mac and cheese and fries "can I have that one mommy?" Izzabella asked.

Olivia smiled "of course baby," she said as Kathleen chuckled "really girly? We're at this special seafood restaurant and you want chicken fingers?"

Izzabella smiled and nodded "mmhmm," she said as Elliot's mouth watered when he saw the butterfly shrimp platter "now this is what I want," he said pointing.

Olivia smiled "I've always wanted to try that."

He nodded and smiled "why don't we get the seaside shrimp trio then? We can get 4 types of seafood and 2 sides for 25 dollars, it's cheeper than getting 3 plates and it costing us 32."

Olivia smiled "I like the idea but Izzabella wants the hand breaded chicken tenders and those wouldn't come with that would they?"

Elliot shook his head "no they wouldn't," he said as he thought for a minute me and you could share a plate if you wanted. Then we'd only be looking at 20 dollars for our main course."

Bernadette frowned "come on Elliot don't be a cheap skate let her get her own plate."

Elliot took a deep breath "I'm not making her do anything mama it's up to her if she doesn't want to then we don't have to."

Olivia smiled some "I'm fine with it El but I want some shrimp scampi I haven't had it in over a year," she said as in this time Carl had ordered the biscuits as the waitress placed them on the table and every one took 1. "You have a mighty big family here," she said to Elliot with a smile.

Elliot nodded to Olivia as he then faced the waitress "yes I do," he said with a smile.

She smiled and nodded as she focused on Olivia for a moment longer than normal then turned her gaze back to Elliot again "my name's Brittany and I'll be serving you all tonight, would you guys like anything to drink or appetizers to start?"

Elliot shook his head "no appetizers for the 3 of us," he said pointing at himself, Liv and Izzabella "but we'll have drinks, I'd like a water with lemon please."

"I'll have the same as El and Izzabella will have grape juice please."

Brittany nodded "okay and you guys?" she asked pointing at the rest of the table.

"I'll have a Long-Island iced tea and cheese sticks as my appetizer please," Kathleen said.

She nodded "we'll have clam strips and mountain do's light on the ice," Carl said.

"I'll pass on the appetizer and I'd like a sweet tea," Lizzie said.

Brittany nodded slightly "and you ma'am?" she asked Bernadette.

Bernadette smiled brightly "I'll have the coconut shrimp appetizer and a glass of red wine please."

Brittany nodded her head and gave Olivia another look trying to place her as she then sighed "thank you guys I'll have your drinks and appetizers out to you shortly."

Elliot nodded his head "thank you ma'am," he said as she then left the table and every one resumed chattering amongst themselves "you think she recognized me?" Olivia whispered to Elliot.

Elliot sighed "maybe not sweetheart, it looked like she was trying to place you but couldn't figure out where she saw your face."

Olivia nodded slightly "I hope it stays that way the last thing I wanna have to do tonight is answer questions."

He nodded "I know baby," he said softly as he leaned into her ear "honey I'm really sorry this happened tonight if I had thought mom would do this I wouldn't have mentioned Jersey today."

Olivia shook her head and leaned to speak in his ear "I was actually the 1 to mention it El not you and you gave me every chance to change my mind, besides this isn't that bad their food really is good and your here beside me so."

Elliot smiled some and nodded as he kissed her head as Bernadette then looked over to him "we're having a birthday party for Izzabella tomorrow," she whispered since Kathleen had her distracted.

Elliot sighed slightly "I love the thought mama really but tomorrow is a little to short notice to get things done, next Saturday would be better it'd give me and Olivia a little more time."

Bernadette shook her head "no it's tomorrow I've already invited Gladys, Philip and my other friends."

Elliot sighed "why are you telling me this just now?"

Bernadette sighed "I tried to call you day before yesterday 23 times and you didn't answer."

Elliot nodded "no I didn't because my phone was off and I was in the ER with Olivia."

Bernadette frowned "I thought she was okay that's what every body said."

Elliot sighed "she is okay as in that monster doesn't have her anymore but she still has a lot of healing to do."

Bernadette nodded "then this party should be what she needs to brighten her spirits."

Elliot sighed heavily "what time?"

Bernadette smiled "Gladys and Phillip are gonna start decorating at noon and every one else will be coming at 3."

Elliot just nodded his head "what did you tell them we're gonna be eating?"

She smiled "your amazing chicken stew of course."

Elliot sighed "you know it takes me 6 hours to slow cook that right?"

She shook her head slightly "I forgot that part... But it's okay though Elliot we won't mind if you start cooking at 9."

He sighed "yeah of course you won't mind," he grumbled quietly to himself as Olivia finished her conversation and turned to Elliot "what's wrong?" she asked.

Elliot sighed slightly "I'll tell you later," he said as Olivia nodded and the drinks and appetizers were served.

The family of 8 ate on the appetizers and sipped their drinks as a conversation started between the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant "I think that's Olivia Benson-Stabler and her family," Alex, a waiter said.

Brittany nodded "ohh my god your right Alex it is her. I knew I remembered her face from somewhere..."

He nodded some "we should really give them a discount after every thing she's been through Britt."

Brittany sighed "you say that but your not the one serving them and I need the tip money."

He frowned "way to be heartless."

Brittany shook her head "I'm not heartless I'm just a single mom with a newborn baby whose doing every thing she can to support herself and her son and is looking forward to whatever that 15% tip comes out to be."

Alex just sighed a bit and shook his head as another waitress walked over "I read online that her husband hurt the guy real bad, I read his crotch almost got burned off."

Alex nodded "yeah well who cares if it did Sarah that man deserved it."

She nodded "you never know the guy might have just flew into a rage they haven't given the news stations a statement yet and that's suspicious."

Alex shook his head "I don't think it is."

Sarah nodded "well I do and I'm gonna set the world up to get some answers," she said pulling out her phone.

"What are you doing Sarah?" Brittany asked.

She smiled slightly "I'm calling my aunt and telling her they're here, she's a news anchor on channel 3 she deserves the scoop on this."

Brittany sighed "you realize if you do that and our boss finds out you'll be fired?"

Sarah nodded "I know but I really don't care it'll be worth it for the world to know the truth."

Brittany just sighed slightly as as she was about to say something else she saw Elliot waving her over as she walked away from Sarah and over to the table "are you guys ready to order?"

Elliot nodded with a small smile "yes we are, on our ticket we'd like to get a seafood plate, half shrimp scampi half butterflied fried shrimp with cold slaw and mashed potatoes as our sides and a plate of your hand breaded chicken fingers with fries and mac and cheese.

She nodded "yes sir would you like to order dessert now or wait?"

He smiled slightly "we'll order it now we'll get 1 chocolate wave please."

"You should get 3 of them Elliot there are 3 of you," Bernadette said as she was slightly tipsy now.

Elliot shook his head "no mama 1 will be plenty we'll just split it 3 ways."

She just nodded her head at that as once every one else placed their orders Brittany left the table "I'm board mommy," Izzabella said through a wine.

Olivia nodded her head a bit "why don't we go find you something to color on then?"

Izzabella smiled big "yay color!" she said as Olivia smiled and kissed El's cheek then took her to find her some crayons as they were back pretty quickly and Izzabella entertained herself "you guys don't eat out often do you?" Kathleen asked.

Elliot shook his head "no we really don't honestly I've been out and done more this week than I have in 3 weeks combined."

"Wow..." Kathleen said shocked "your great at this stay at home dad thing but I honestly never thought you'd do it."

Elliot nodded slightly "me either honey, me either but you guys moving out of town and the shooting in the squad room happening with in months of each other had my brain headed down some pretty dark routes and retiring was the best thing for me at the time."

Kathleen nodded slightly "m-maybe I should have stayed in town."

Elliot shook his head slightly "why don't we talk later in private honey? I-I feel like we might need that."

She smiled some "that'd be great dad," she said as a camera crew walked into the restaurant "I wonder what this is about?"

"What the hell?"

"Oh no..." Kathleen, Elliot and Olivia said in unison "what's wrong guys?" Carl asked.

"A fucking camera crew is in here," Elliot said through a sigh as Olivia stood up quickly "I-I have to get out of here..."

Maureen sighed "Liv sit back down they'll notice you more if they see you fleeing besides they might not even be in here for you."

"W-Who else would they be here for?" Olivia asked as a middle aged woman rushed over to her Mrs. Benson-Stabler, Mrs. Benson-Stabler! Erika Hathaway, channel 3 news, Is it true that you and your husband beat William Lewis with in an inch of his life?"

"N-No comment," Olivia said.

"Mr. Lewis says you were having an affair with him do you have anything to say about that?"

"J-Just that it's not true and anyone who believes the word of a criminal over a decorated police officer is insane," she said as Elliot ran over "how did you know that we were here?" he demanded.

"I found out from an anonymous source, Erika Hathaway, channel 3 news, Mr. Stabler do you have any knowledge of an affair between your wife and Mr. Lewis?"

Elliot glared harshly "Olivia would never do that, we're not answering anymore of your questions."

Erika ignored him "it is rumored that you and your wife beat Mr. Lewis with in an inch of his life what do you have to say about that?"

"All I have to say is we're not the ones on trial here William Lewis is, William Lewis is the criminal do not lose sight of that on your little witch hunt," he said as he wrapped his arm around Olivia "we're leaving now, whatever food is ready we'll pay for and take to go!" he called to every one at the table.

"But my lobster tail..." Bernadette said as Carl scooped Izzabella up and Elliot's girls stood and went to stand behind him as a show of support.

Elliot sighed "that 48 dollar Lobster tail isn't important right now," he snapped.

"Are you usually this angry?" Erika asked.

Elliot ignored her question "come on sweetheart we should go," he said as Olivia nodded and they walked out of the restaurant

with matching strides as Sarah smiled proudly at the fact that the world will have finally heard something from the 2 of them because of her.

"God that woman was persistent..." Olivia said as she had her hands fisted on each side of her to hide the tremors as the intensity of it all had shaken her up a bit.

Elliot nodded his head "yeah she was," he said softly as he opened the back door then pulled her into his arms seeing right through her facade.

Olivia shook her head slightly and didn't melt into his embrace like normal "the camera crew could be filming us."

He nodded and rubbed her back "maybe so but we have nothing to hide anymore Liv."

She nodded slightly "I-It's not that Elliot, I-I feel safe breaking down in your arms a-and I can't risk being caught crying on camera."

Elliot nodded slightly as his face softened in understanding as he kissed the side of her head then gave her the space she requested as he sat in the seat beside her.

They sat in comfortable silence for about 15 minutes or so as Maureen lightly knocked on the truck window "hop in," Elliot said.

Maureen nodded and got in the front seat "me and Carl talked to the manager, dad he's really sorry and doesn't want for us to leave."

Elliot sighed "well the only way me and Liv are staying is if the news crew leaves and I wanna know how the hell they knew we were even here?"

Maureen nodded slightly "it was a waitress that called them, I guess the woman that was asking you guys questions is her aunt or something like that. The manager fired her on the spot and said he wouldn't charge you guys for your seafood plate if you'd come back inside and eat your meal."

Elliot sighed "I'll need assurance that if we do we won't be harassed anymore by reporters we're here to eat dinner not answer questions about William Lewis."

Maureen nodded some "he said he'd wait on us himself for the rest of the night and he'd tell security not to allow any camera crews inside until we've left."

Elliot sighed "he wants our business pretty badly doesn't he.."

Maureen nodded "yeah he said this is the first time that a family of eight have come here on a Saturday night and had an almost 200 dollar bill since the election."

Elliot sighed some "you've convinced me now it's up to Liv."

Maureen nodded and looked to Olivia as she thought about it for a moment "o-okay," she said as Maureen slightly smiled and nodded and Elliot opened the back door as they headed back inside and Liv and El held hands.

"Welcome back you two," Bernie said with a bright smile as she was on her third glass of wine.

Elliot just smiled slightly "thanks," he said as Kathleen finished her second Long-Island iced tea "I'm gonna cut myself off at 2," she said.

"Good idea Katie," Elliot said as he was extremely proud of Kathleen for staying on her meds and controlling her impulses as Olivia smiled as well "who was that woman mommy?" Izzabella asked.

Olivia sighed slightly "she was a news reporter sweetheart."

"What's that?" Izzabella asked.

Olivia sighed slightly unsure how to word it as Elliot looked over to Izzabella "comere sweetheart and I'll try to explain," he said since he usually got the brunt of her curious questions about the world as she quickly climbed into his lap.

Once she was comfy he sighed "you know how sometimes you'll do something that I didn't see and I'll either ask you what you did or why you did it?"

She nodded with a smile "mmhmm like when I drank the tooth paste."

He nodded with a smile "yes that's right, and I wanted to understand why you did it, that's what news reporters do, when big things happen in the world they ask people questions about them so they can explain how and why they happened to the world."

She smiled and nodded happily "so the woman was asking you and mommy questions about something big?"

He nodded "that's right but we didn't wanna answer her questions so that's why we left."

She nodded with a smile "so does that mean when I don't wanna answer your questions I can leave too?"

Elliot chuckled "well it depends on the question but usually no."

Izzabella nodded and smiled "can I color now?"

He smiled and nodded "of course honey," he said as he put her down and she went back to her seat As their food was then served and every one began eating.

The food was eaten simi-slowly as no one was rushing and Liv and El fed each other here and there as was normal "you know I never once saw mom and dad do this," Lizzie whispered to Maureen.

Maureen nodded slightly "yeah neither did I..." she said as she went back to eating and the manager walked back over "would any of you like any refills?"

Olivia and Elliot nodded their heads with slight smiles "I'd like to switch to sweet tea please," Kathleen said.

"I'd like another glass of wine please," Bernadette said as it would be her 6th glass.

The manager nodded to Liv, El and Kathleen as he then looked to Bernadette "ma'am I'm afraid I'm gonna have to cut you off you've had enough wine for one night."

She glared and shook her head angrily "that's absolutely ridiculous! I'm not bothering anyone I'm just enjoying myself!" she said words slurred.

"Mama don't make a scene he's right," Elliot said.

Bernadette glared "your just like your father!!" she said as she got up and staggered out.

"Sir I'm sorry for her behavior," Elliot said to the manager.

He shook his head "it's not your fault Mr. Stabler we get people acting that way in here all the time, I'll be back with your drinks," he said as he stepped away and Carl went after Bernadette.

Elliot sighed heavily and faced Olivia "I don't think we should stay here very long, maybe a couple days tops then we should go back to Manhattan."

Olivia nodded "she could just be having a bad day she's usually not this bad."

Elliot nodded slightly "true but if this continues we can't stay here honey and it's not just about your recovery I don't want Izzabella seeing her acting like this either."

Olivia nodded her head slightly "I agree with that, maybe tomorrow once she's sober we can talk to her? Explain where our heads are at?"

Elliot nodded "that's a really good idea, it'll give her a chance to understand what she's done tonight and the opportunity to fix it."

Olivia nodded "yep and if she doesn't use that opportunity then us leaving will be on her. I don't wanna overstep though El she's your mom."

He nodded "yes and your my wife so we make decisions together and we confront problems together. Your not overstepping baby your being supportive and I appreciate that."

Olivia nodded and slightly smiled "El can I tell you something?"

He nodded "of course."

"Your not your father El, you only have his good qualities," she whispered softly into his ear as the manager walked over with the refills and Carl helped a still pissed Bernadette sit down in her seat.

20 minutes later every one had finished what they could eat of their desserts and it was going on a quarter after 7 "can we get a few to go boxes please?" Elliot asked the manager when he walked back over.

He nodded and smiled "yes sir of course," he said as he went to get them and handed every one their bills as with the discount El and Liv's came out to be 26 dollars as Elliot showed it to Olivia "this wasn't as high as I thought it'd be," he said.

Olivia smiled and nodded agreeing "I'm pleasantly surprised that's for sure," she said as Bernadette's bill was the highest as it was 93 dollars.

"She spent way to much," Maureen said with a sigh as she glanced over at her bill.

Elliot sighed "I agree honey but it's her money and she's a grown woman there's nothing we can do."

She nodded sadly "I know daddy I just think she needs help, she's let her bipolar disorder get away from her."

He nodded "I know she has and me and Liv are gonna try and talk with her tomorrow, you can join us if you like."

Maureen nodded "I might just do that," she said as Elliot nodded and they all paid their bills, left tips and stood up to leave "Carl will you help mama to my truck please? And put her in the back I don't want Lizzie driving an unfamiliar vehicle this late at night."

Carl nodded "yes sir or she's more than welcome to ride with me and Maureen."

He shook his head "I appreciate that really but I don't want her in the same vehicle with Izzabella right now."

He nodded "gotcha," he said understanding as he took Bernadette by the arm and lead her out as after a little complaining from her about how the oldest adult was supposed to always get the front seat she begrudgingly got in then promptly passed out.

"Wow..." Olivia said with a frown from the passenger seat as she looked at Bernadette's passed out form through the rearview mirror.

Elliot just nodded his head grimly "this has gone to far I'm gonna get her to get help, she can hurl whatever insults at me she wants I don't care as long as she gets the help she needs," he said as he drove off.

Olivia nodded and rubbed his arm "I'm behind you El, 100% whatever you decide, however you decide to do it."

Elliot nodded slightly "that means more than you know to me Liv, more than you know," he said softly as they drove the rest of the way to Bernie's beach house in silence as Lizzie kept a careful watch on her the entire ride home from her seat beside her in the back of the truck.
