Summary: Janet contemplating.

Looking at her sleeping patients, Janet tried hard not to yell. After all, it wasn't an unusual situation, and none of them were terribly hurt.

She looked to her left where she last seen the general; he looked as he always did, dressed impeccably, composed and fully in control of the situation. She of course, knew better. The general was anything but; like herself and the rest of the SGC he was a nervous wreck. She turned back to the beds where her friends lay asleep.

After yet another mission to an unknown planet with its initiatory hostile native, SG-1 had retuned several hours late, having done some fast talking to stay alive and, naturally, managed it with a tentative ally to boot.

Janet never understood just how they managed to get into quite so many life or death situations, or how they stayed mostly alive through all of them. She looked to her left again and locked eyes with the generals intense gaze.

It doesn't matter, she decided several moments later, braking contact and looking back at the four beds. they're home.
