The First Time We Met

Clint Barton was a happily married man now, but his wife wasn't exactly someone that you wanted to mess with. Especially, if you endangered her family or friends. He was sitting in the rafters and recalling how he unexpectedly met his wife years ago.
~ Clint's Flash Back ~
The date was February 14, 2000. He was out on a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. in England, which was to recruit some British people to help S.H.I.E.L.D. Internationally. Just his luck that it happened to be Valentines Days of all things.
Before he had left, Nat teased him about possibly finding love while out on the recruitment mission. However, he hadn't expected to bump into a beautiful young woman who looked like she was in her teens but she was in her twenties from what he could possibly tell.
The woman immediately grabbed his hand without thinking and pulled him into what appeared to be a pub of sorts. To him, the pub seemed kind of shady of sorts.
"Miss Potter, is there anything I can get you?" The bartender asked.
"No, thanks, Tom. I promised to show my lover around Diagon Alley." The woman lied.
The bartender blinked and said, "Isn't he a little old for you, Miss Potter?"
"Nope, in fact, I find him sexy as hell." The woman said.
The bartender known as Tom just chuckled and left them alone. However, once they were out of pub; he began to question her.
The woman blinked and said, "Sorry, about that. My name is Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black Stark, My godfather, Sirius gave me the nickname Phoenix just for kicks; but you can call me Nix if you like. However, my other godfather lives in America."
Clint was stunned to hear that this young woman was connected to someone in America when she's British. He was curious and asked, "How are who are connected to in America?"
"Tony Stark. He is my other godfather but sometimes I end up calling him Dad which he doesn't mind and I found out that he was my godfather at the age of fifteen when Sirius was killed. So, please don't tell anyone." The woman said.
~ End of Flash Back ~
"Barton?" Fury said.
"Sir?" Clint said.
"What were you thinking about, Barton?" Fury questioned.
"When I first met my wife, sir." Clint said.
"I'm sure that that was an experience in itself." Fury stated.
"You have no idea, sir." Clint said.
"Would your wife consider joining S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Fury questioned.
"That would depend." Clint answered.
"On whether or not, she trusts S.H.I.E.L.D., sir." Clint stated.
"What would it depend on?" Fury questioned.
"It would depend if she trusted you or not, sir." Clint stated.
"Why is that, Barton?" Fury questioned.
"Someone tried to control my wife's life from the age of one until she was seventeen; but when she was fourteen; they forced to complete in a tournament. When she won somehow she was emancipated at fourteen but no one knew and my wife kept it that way." Clint stated.
"You're wife sounds clever." Fury said.
"She is, sir. While we were courting as she called it; we met her other godfather who lived here in America and he got her some private tutors for some advance classes. So, my wife as a bunch of college degrees and skills that no one expect. However, when we did marry, I had to ask her godfather for permission." Clint said.
Fury was surprised by that but then he remembered that Clint told in a way that his wwife's parents were dead.
"Barton, is there reason you have a day off on Halloween?" Fury questioned.
"My wife's parents were killed on Halloween, so we visit their graves every year." Clint stated.
Fury was stunned to hear that Mrs. Barton's parents were killed on a holiday for kids to go door to door and get candy.
"So, where would you're wife be right now?" Fury asked curiously.
Clint chuckled and said, "Probably helping her godfather and his girlfriend out; right now."
Suddenly, chaos broke out in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base and a fight broke out.
Meanwhile, in New York at Stark Tower...
Pepper was talking with Nix well her name was actually Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Black Stark Barton because Tony decided to adopt his goddaughter and he gave her away to Clint Barton in a secret wedding ceremony. However, Harriet went by Nix which was short for Phoenix and that was the nickname her other godfather, Sirius Orion Black gave her and Tony kept it because it did suit her well considering her near death experience at the age of seventeen.
Suddenly, Nix froze.
"What is it, Nix?" Pepper asked concerned.
"Something has happened to Clint at work." Nix said.
Pepper gasped.
Just then, Tony entered while talking with Jarvis about letting Agent Coulson in; when he noticed Nix's eyes and immediately knew something was wrong.
Suddenly, the elevator doors opened revealing Phil Coulson.
"Security Breach!" Tony stated.
Pepper looked at Phil and welcomed him in; however, Phil froze seeing the woman that he immediately recognized as Clint's wife.
"What's the matter, Agent?" Tony questioned.
"Mrs. Barton, what are you doing here?" Phil asked.
"Surely, Clint mentioned that I would be visiting my godfather." Nix said.
"You're godfather is Tony Stark?!" Phil said in shock.
"Yes, he is. Is that a problem?" Nix questioned.
"Well, no. It's just that Natasha never said that Tony had a goddaughter in her report." Phil stated.
Nix chuckled and said, "Most of the time, I call Tony, dad."
Phil's eyes widen with shock.
"Nix, quit shocking the man." Tony said.
"Sorry, dad." Nix stated then said, "Jarvis, can you lock onto Clint's location?"
"I shall try, Mrs. Barton."
"Please and Thank you, Jarvis." Nix said.
"How will Stark's AI locate Agent Barton when S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't?" Phil questioned.
"Agent Coulson, my daughter was very clever and inserted a device into their wedding bands where either Clint or Nix will know where each other is." Tony stated.
Phil was completely stunned as well as speechless to learn that Tony Stark was basically Clint's Father-in-law in a way. He wondered what Fury would think of this turn of events.
"Mrs. Barton, your husband has been located."
"Where is he, Jarvis?" Nix questioned.
"Mr. Barton is located in Europe."
"Thanks, Jarvis." Nix said.
"You're welcome, Mrs. Barton."
"Dad, I am going with you." Nix stated.
Tony just nodded after they reviewed the information about the tesseract.
Phil sighed and said, "This will be interesting and shocking at the same time."
Pepper giggled.
Then Tony and Nix left with Phil to make their way to the Helicraft Carrier.
On the Helicraft Carrier...
Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, and Natasha Romanov were heading inside now because the carrier was going to take to the sky.
As they entered the briefing room and sat at the table; Phil entered with Tony Stark and a woman that looked like she was ready for a battle.
"Phil, I told you to get Stark not the woman." Fury stated.
"I did get Stark but I also got a shock of my life." Phil stated.
"What do you mean, Agent Coulson?" Fury questioned.
"Director Fury meet Mrs. Nix Barton, Tony Stark's goddaughter." Phil stated.
Fury's eye went wide in shock.
Natasha Romanov was completely stunned speechless that she was face to face with Clint's mysterious wife.
Both Bruce and Steve were surprised that this woman was Tony Stark's goddaughter.
Moments later, an arrow was shot into the computer of the carrier. Nix recognized the arrow and noticed Fury firing his gun; she saw who had fired the arrow. She knew Clint would only use the special arrows that she and her father made him.
Nix raised her foot and knocked his gun out of his hand.
"What do you think you're doing, Mrs. Barton?" Fury questioned.
"Stopping you from becoming a threat to my family; because you shot at my husband when all you have to do his knock him out." Nix said and went after Clint.
Fury blinked in confusion.
"That was a bad move, Fury." Tony said.
"What do you mean, Stark?" Fury questioned.
"Have you heard of the Potters?" Tony questioned.
"No." Fury said.
"Lord Potter was a descendant of a very Ancient and Noble family known as the Peverells which the Peverells were friends with deity known as Death." Tony said.
"Where are you going with this, Stark?" Fury said.
"My goddaughter is Lord and Lady Potter's daughter." Tony said with a smile.
Banner, Rogers, and Romanov nearly fell out of their seats.
