Director Tori Vega: Alumnus of Hollywood Arts and current director of Hollywood Arts. She's going through a rough time now that she's divorced from Jade West, who chose to be the center of attention over her.
Jade West: After terrorizing Hollywood Arts for years, she put her talents at the disposal of the movie world.
She had a great talent for writing scripts, within a few months of going out into the world she directed her masterpiece.
The movie that launched her to stardom, her accolades and her fame clouded her leaving little time for the most important thing that lay ahead of her in her life, her marriage to Tori.
After her breakup, he is still in love with her, trying to win her back.
Kathelin Melviena Nanbu: A talented 11-year-old prodigy dancer and the half-Japanese/African adopted daughter of Principal Vega. She also has a ventriloquist cat named 'Sunflower'.
Rebeca Stones: A posh girl, who likes to humiliate the weakest, believed, hooked on compulsive purchases, arrogant, manipulative, etc.
Shelly White (formerly Sheldon White): a sweet transgender girl, with a good heart, but a bit manipulative, lovestruck, she has come out as transgender in her first year, but is criticized by her crush, 'Rebekah'. Eventually, she passed quickly as she understood that no one could change her. She loves Agatha Christie's books and reptiles.
Sternum Walker:A rapper boy whose parents own a successful music company. Every year, Sternum's parents choose the best musician to become his next big hit. He has a crush on Kathelin, but she only sees him as an older brother (because he has feelings for Shelly). He has one leg amputated from an accident at the zoo (he was doing a photo shoot with crocodiles when they enlarged him trying to protect the babies).
Spaulding Kavanagh: A handsome boy who makes anyone fall in love with just the look, he likes black and white movies, he is a big fan of Jade's movies.
He is American but with a southern accent. He has strong feelings for his friend Sylver.
Fallon O'Higgins: Exchange girl from Ireland, she has two passions in life, pop music and magic.
She's always listening to music on her wireless headphones and doing magic tricks, she has a bit of a knack for card tricks, but she's great with animals. She is a big fan of Tori Vega and she follows her career from her beginnings to her sudden retirement, she is excited to study at the same school where her idol studied.
Misty Leblanc: Good student in certain subjects such as History and Drama, the best in sports of all her friends, if she could she would spend all day swimming because with swimming she concentrates and helps to alleviate problems.
She is Canadian, since recently she has started to have feelings for Dawn.
Jeff Aguayo: The typical geek boy, he likes science fiction too much, he always flaunts his collections, he always goes to school with a Star Wars t-shirt, he loves conspiracy theories, he is a big fan of Leonard Nimoy. He is a mestizo from his American mother to his Mexican father, who abandoned them both when Jeff was only 3 years old.
He is raised by his divorced mother who overprotects and pampers him.
Dawn (which is Victoria's middle name) Knighton: self centered girl, fashionista, compliments everyone on the way she dresses and has a sweet heart and would do anything for her friends. She sometimes mistakes constructive criticism for ingratitude, but she means well.
She is American, with a penchant for British slang because she believes the English are highly educated and noble people. She fell in love at first sight with Misty, but she is hesitant to reveal it for fear of her rejection. She used to be Rebeca's best friend until Rebeca started attending Hollywood Arts.
Yolanda Magnuson: Shy and kind girl, she has a hard time relating to strangers, she always prefers to be close to her inner circle but she hides a partying and influencer side. She has a Splashface account with many followers of hers but with a fake name so none of her friends find out about her (Principal Vega secretly knows about it so Yolanda can make friends).
Arts Baker: A deaf boy who is good with a video camera. Kathelin was able to understand sign language and morse code thanks to her maternal uncle (who is a soldier/chef in the army). Arts also wears headphones to help Rebeca and her gang hear. He has a close friendship with Sternum.
Nicolina 'Nicky' Magnuson: Andre's new Swedish wife and Yolanda's mother. She and Andre recently moved in to help care for Kathelin. She works as a guitar accompanist on Andre's piano.
Rebecca's Circle:
Kalyani Panja: She is the only daughter of one of the richest promoters in all of Los Angeles, her parents always give her every whim.
She considers Banne and Rebecca to be her only best friends in the world.
Many may consider her dumb because she is always distracted or clueless, but she really is a genius who prefers to be more attentive to social networks than to the real world.
She is a die-hard fan of CuteBunny.
Banne Hart :An African-American girl, she considers herself Rebbeca's best friend, she is a bisexual girl, who has a long list of broken hearts, seems to like girls more than men, spreads the word in HA that he could be involved with a student from another institute.
She's mean, sadistic, she's like the bad girl from HA stealing lunch money from other students, she usually spends more time in Tori's office than in class, but with Rebbeca she's like a puppy waiting for any order or wish from her.
