Chapter 2 Pain
Levi was staring with wide-eyes as he heard Kenny's voice, "Yo, Levi. You grown any yet?"
"This is where the last episode ended, right?" Armin asks.
"Yeah, now we've got to see how the Captain will retaliate..." Eren adds.
Kenny attached his gear to the roof and jumped into the air, he managed to see Levi and said, "Oh? It doesn't look like you changed at all!"
This time the scouts are lightly chuckling, and Levi mutters, "Always with the height...Kenny..."
Levi took out his blade and lets out a loud roar, "KEEEEENNNNNYYYY!"
Levi threw the blade at Kenny, and the blade spun towards the man in the air. Kenny grunted as he deflected it with the barrel of his gun.
"You've got to be kidding me..." Gunther says with shock.
"He just dodged that with ease?" Abel asks.
"Kaboom!" Kenny fired the gun, and Levi used his cloak to block, only to have it shot through it and then the chimney behind him.
"Did he seriously say that while he fire the gun?" Jean asks.
"What a weird guy..." Mikasa remarks.
Levi threw away the cloak and looked at Kenny before he started to run off the roof while dodging the gunshot. Then he also used his own ODM gear and swung around.
"To think we're going to see Levi and Kenny fight, this seems to be intersting." Hange says.
"Indeed. I wonder what kind of skills Kenny has if he is Levi's mentor." Erwin nods.
Levi just stares at his TV screen, and he can't believe that he will be seeing Kenny again, and he seems to want to kill him with the Interior Military Police's orders, but the only reason he wants to know is why he's working with him.
Back at the carriage, Keiji asked, "Gunshots?" Two MPs used their gears to swing at them. Eren opened the curtain and asked, "What's going on?!"
"Stay in there! Hiyaah!" Keiji started to accelerate, but the grappling hook from MP managed to tear off the top, exposing Eren and Historia.
"Oh no!" Sasha gasps, "Eren and Historia were exposed!"
"Do something, Eren!" Mikasa yells at Eren in the screen.
Eren tried to grab the rifle, but the MP shot a tranquilizer at Historia, causing her to get knocked out.
"Historia!" Eren gasped, but then the tranquilizer also shot him, he tried to struggle before falling on top of Historia.
"What are you doing? You pervert!" Jean yells at Eren.
Ymir also glared at him, "Yeah, what the hell?"
"Hey! I was shot and I didn't have body control!" Eren retorts back.
"Shouldn't we worry that Eren and Historia are going to get kidnapped?" Armin asks.
Mikasa just stares darkly at the screen, knowing that she needs to separate Historia and Eren.
"Eren!" Keiji yells, but he was kicked off the carriage as another MP was taking charge of it.
"Looks like even Keiji was dead..." Moblit frowns.
"Just what's going on... is this the end of my scouts?" Hange yells.
Levi was about to chase after the carriage, only for 3 MPs to block him and tried to shoot him while attaching their gears to the ground.
Levi was forced to use his gears to escape. Shit! They predicted every last one of our movements!
"What the hell was those skills?" Reiner gasps in shock.
"Somehow, it feels much more impressive than fighting Titans..." Petra says.
"My heart can't take this..." Connie adds.
He kept dodging while facing them backward while he moved, and then Kenny appeared on top of him, firing two guns. Levi got to his feet and jumped into an alley. Kenny... What the hell is he doing in the Military Police?!
"I thought those MPs were a bunch of lazy people, but to think they have these skills to make Captain Levi shook..." Eren gasps.
"The MPs were the Top 10 are members from the cadets from each generation after all, only that most of us in the South branch of 104th joined the Survey Corps." Armin says.
"Really? How many did you join?" Hange asks.
"8 of the ten. Annie is now an MP and Marco...was eaten by a Titan..." Connie says.
The screen flashed to Levi and Kenny's first meeting, with Levi looking homeless and Kenny wearing a long coat.
"Was that the Captain?" Oluo asks.
"He looks homeless..." Henning says.
Levi stares at his past and he can only mutter, "Tsk."
When Levi continued to move, three MPs were firing guns at him, and he tried to dodge by jumping on the walls and sliding on the wood, but he got hit by the head with blood coming out, but he didn't stop until he landed inside a bar.
"It's Levi... of the Survey Corps!" A customer gasped.
"W-welcome to our establishment!" The owner panicked while Levi was struggling to stand up.
"All that action...and you landed inside a bar?" Hange asks.
"It seems that I don't have much of a choice..." Levi notes.
"But I feel bad for the guy. Imagine that you're eating dinner and then suddenly the Captain just flying in, swords out, covered in blood, and looking like he's ready to kill someone." Sasha says.
Everyone shivers as they think about what Sasha says, and Levi just gives a slight grunt.
"Oof!" Kenny arrived at the gate. Levi thinks, Shit... If this keeps up, I'll lose my team, Eren, and Historia too. "Tsk."
"Ain't that the damnedest thing! I smell a filthy rat coming from this bar..." Levi quickly hid while Kenny walked closer. "Come out, you little rodent..."
Jean whispers, "First runt, then rat, and rodent? How many nicknames did he give Captain Levi?"
"And I thought rodents were cute." Sasha adds.
Hange snickers a little as Levi glares at her, "I hate those things..."
"Found ya!" Kenny jumped into the bar, "The law has come to exterminate the vermin! Bang! Bang!" He stomped on the floor while saying it.
"What an overreacting guy..." Mikasa mutters.
"Yeah, did he seriously need to do those dramatic sounds? Because that's quite annoying." Eren says.
"Indeed, how was he able to do that in such a serious situation?" Petra asks.
Levi was hiding under the counter while the owner was scared. The customers were shaken as one of them even dropped the sausage.
"What a waste of that sausage!" Sasha yells.
"Really? Is that what you're thinking about?" Jean asks.
"The hell? Ain't you here?!" Kenny yelled.
"Right here, Kenny. It's been a while." Levi muttered. "Never thought you'd still be alive. What happened to the slaughter of the Military Police? Now you're one of them?"
"Adults do plenty of things a kid like you can't understand. Oops, my bad. You're just so tiny, it's hard to believe you're older now."
Hange bursts out laughing and says, "That was a good one, don't you think, guys?"
Everyone can only chuckle lightly, because Levi is glaring at them, and he mutters, "Shut up four-eyes!"
"I've been looking forward to seeing you in action. Never thought all those tricks I taught you would be helping you out like this. Didn't I ever tell you what happens to a cornered rat? No matter which way you try to run, you'll get blasted from above."
The screen showed 5 MPs waiting on top of the roofs. Kenny took a chair and continued, "Hey, Levi..."
He threw the chair at the wine bottles, but Levi didn't faze while the bottles were dropped to the ground and splashed. "There's gotta be a reason you became a Scout, and I think I know what it is. We had no choice but to survive in that garbage dump. It took all we had each day to keep livin'. And when we found out how big the world really was, you can bet it hurt like hell. But something saved us..."
"I thought that the captain was going to clean the mess that Kenny made..." Eld says while staring at the screen.
"Maybe because he's in a death situation." Petra sighs.
Kenny kicked up another chair. "We'd found something we wanted to do. It's that simple. It's simple, but the truth is...The only thing that made our lives fulfilling was finding hobbies."
"Hobbies? So is blowing the heads off my team another hobby of yours?" Levi asked while moving the wine bottle.
"Yup... To achieve my grand goals, I'll kill as much as I have to. You are no different. You kill when it benefits you too."
"Yeah." Suddenly, Levi took out a rifle and aimed at Kenny without facing him, and the bullet managed to blast through the chair protecting Kenny and blasting him out of the bar.
Everyone jumps as they didn't expect that to happen in front of them.
"Woah! Nice aim!" Historia says.
"Did you seriously use the wine bottle to aim at Kenny?" Armin says.
"As expected from someone like Levi." Erwin nods.
The MP was already to fire before another one said, "Wait! It's the Captain!"
"Thanks, Old man." Levi threw the rifle back to the bar owner, something came out of the window and the MP shot at it through the dust cloud, only to find that it was a chair.
"A chair?" Levi appeared and he used the hook to kill the MP, and then used him as a meat shield to block the bullets and kill another two with the blades and the hook.
"That's brutal..." Jean mutters. "You killed him with ODM gear..."
"It is either that or having my skull busted open." Levi says.
"He did what he had to do in order to survive." Annie says. "Just like us..."
The Levi Squad is glaring at Annie, who doesn't seem to care, and Eren says, "It was necessary...they're just animals hiding in human bodies."
"Eren?" Mikasa widens her eyes as she remembers the same words that he said when they're little.
"But it will change... this is the future after all." Eren adds.
"I hear gunshots!" Sasha said.
"Huh?" Connie asked.
"From there!" Sasha pointed in that direction.
Connie tried to listen to where it was by putting two hands behind his ears.
"I heard a bunch of shots!" Sasha said.
"Wait, you can hear that far?" Kenji asks Sasha.
"My family is filled with hunters, and I admit that I have some sharp senses." Sasha says.
"Looks like you have some competition, Mike." Gunther says to the man, who just shrugs.
"You think something happened?" Jean asked Mikasa.
"Of course, something happened, and why are we still standing there?" Jean asks.
"Most likely. The Captain had this message for us... From now on, we'll not only be fighting Titans but humans too." Mikasa replies.
"Basically, all this time we're fighting humans, Titans are made from humans after all." Ymir says.
"I guess you're right... but it is easier when we treat them as monsters..." Connie says.
Connie, Sasha, and Armin tensed up and Jean asked, "Huh? You mean...?"
Mikasa left using her ODM gear, and Jean yelled, "Wait!"
In the Military Police Headquarters, Nile noticed the blast and asked, "Was that the First Interior Squad?"
An MP walked towards him and said, "Commander. You're needed to check some papers."
"Wait, the First Interior Squad?" Hange asks. "So that means it's not the normal Military Police that we're facing..."
"Considering those Military Police members didn't actually do anything..." Levi mutters.
Back in front of the bar, Kenny was still lying when a woman approached him.
"Captain." Caven said. "Finally bit the dust?"
Kenny took off the hat and muttered, "You moron... How would I answer that if I'm dead? Ow, ow, ow... He got me good. Forgot those bar owners are allowed to keep guns for their own self-defense... For a runt, he's sure grown up."
"That's wonderful."
"Huh? Like hell, it is! My dream is getting further and further away..." Kenny muttered.
"What is Kenny's dream?" Eren asks.
"I don't know, maybe we'll know in the future?" Armin asks.
The five scouts are using their gears as they find the carriage where Eren and Historia are. Connie spotted them and yelled, "Hey! There goes Eren!"
They also spotted Levi chasing after the carriage, but an MP appeared behind him and Jean yelled, "What the hell?"
It tried to fire at Levi but missed as Levi used the hook to get closer to him and killed him with the blades. Jean could only watch in horror.
"I'm glad we're not on TV yet..." Jean says.
"Chase the carriage!" Levi yelled.
Mikasa was the first one to know the situation, and she nodded, "Roger."
As the squad gathered together, the carriage accelerated and Levi said, "Listen up! They're used to fighting other people! They already got three of ours. If we're gonna get those two back, you can't hesitate! If you get the chance, you kill! Got it?!"
"We're supposed to kill Titans, but I guess the same thing can be applied to humans as well..." Sasha says.
"But still, it will be really weird seeing new recruits trying to kill the First Interior Squad..." Nifa says.
Levi jumped off the tent and attached the hook to the man on the carriage, dragging him off, but another one is coming. "Tsk. Armin, Jean! Secure the wagon! We'll cover you!"
"Roger!" Armin said as he got close.
"Another dead..." Jean said.
"Jean!"
Both of them landed in the carriage, and the MP who was controlling the carriage turned to face them while taking out the gun, but Levi gave a kick and she fell with Jean pointing his knife at her.
"Don't move!" Jean yelled, sweat on his face.
Jean knew that he couldn't have killed the woman, but Eren yells, "What are you doing? Just kill her!"
"Yeah, you're giving her a chance to fight back!" Sasha yells.
"Hey! I'm not like you! I've never killed a person before!" Jean retorts back.
"It is never that easy to kill people." Reiner says.
The woman turns around and slaps the blade away using the gun, and Jean is pointed in the head by the gun.
"That's what I'm afraid of..." Levi mutters.
"Jean!" Mikasa yelled, and just then, a gunshot is heard, and someone is shot.
"No! Jean!" Connie says.
"Is Jean dead?" Historia asks.
"I hope not... every one of us is precious." Eren says.
Jean can only stare at the screen in shock, he starts to wonder if he's going to die very soon.
"Looks like we have another death..." Lynne says.
In Capital Mitras, the Government is having a meeting again. "How disappointing that nothing came from Erwin. We still don't know the location of Eren Yeager and Historia. At this rate, freezing Scout activity will prove all for naught."
"Wait, why did it change? Who was shot? Why didn't you show us?" Eren asks Ray.
"Just giving you some breathing time because it is not pleasant." Ray replies.
"But those guys, they don't seem to know what's going on with the First Interior Squad..." Mike says.
"Maybe someone is working alone." Erwin says.
"Indeed. Do we know what information they might have learned from Pastor Nick?"
"No helping it. If we question too much, we'll reveal to them things they didn't know in the first place."
"And what are those fools hiding from us?" Hange asks.
"Maybe the truth that Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie told us? So they knew and they didn't want to tell us..." Eren says with slight anger.
"No, what they know or don't know matters not. It's what they tried to learn. That's plenty. We should deal with them to the extent of the law. Just as we've done until now..."
The screen also showed the king doing the same pose as last time.
"The king was doing the same pose again..." Armin says, "Something is not right..."
Erwin has doubts if the king on the throne is fake, if that's the case, where is the real king and why is he stopping them from achieving information?
An informant gave one of the royal members a letter, and the royal member said, "It's from Lord Reiss. Eren and Historia have been captured. He's already moved against Erwin and the Scout Regiment. There is no need for us to take action."
"Damn it... why did I get captured with Historia?" Eren grits his teeth.
"I'm the same way as you." Historia says. But from my father? What did he want to do with me?
"That's the last of it." In the military barracks, Erwin was visited by his old comrade Nile Dawk. "If you want your personal effects back, ask later."
"No, it's fine." Erwin said. "I was hoping to speak with you."
"I'm in no mood to reminisce about the past." Nile said.
"How cold of you, Nile. Weren't we once comrades aiming to be scouts?" Erwin asked.
"Wait, you mean that guy was your comrade?" Eren asks Erwin.
"That's right." Erwin sighs.
"The tiny world is about to change." Erwin said. "Will it bring hope or despair? Can we trust the government with the future of humanity or not? Who gets to choose? Who decides? Who will you trust?"
Nile looked surprised. "Erwin, you...What are you planning to do?"
Erwin was lighting up the candle and said, "Gamble, like I always do."
"Something tells me that we're going to do something really big..." Hange says.
"I don't know if I should feel excited or not..." Moblit replies.
Outside the abandoned building, Armin seemed to be vomiting with Mikasa standing behind him. Armin asked, "Did you go through this, too?"
It showed that Armin was crying, he wiped his tears and mutters, "Sorry..."
"What is going on? Why is Armin like this?" Mikasa asks.
Armin has a feeling about that gunshot before, Ray notices it and already prepares the bucket beside Armin.
Back to the gunshot, Jean was surprised to see the woman who was aiming at him falling to the ground dead, with Armin being the one who shot her.
Armin doesn't feel well as he manages to vomit, and Eren and Mikasa pat his back gently. Eren says, "Looks like we're the same..."
"But still..." Armin mutters. "I will kill a person in the future..."
Annie says, "Armin, you're doing this because you want to protect him."
Everyone from the 104th are surprised to see Annie cheering Armin up, and Armin just nods.
"Yeah. Thanks for that, I guess..." Jean mutters, knowing how Armin is feeling.
Now that the carriage has nobody, Levi tried to chase after it but noticed three MPs already behind them. "Armin! Jean!"
Levi and Sasha managed to push Jean and Armin out of the carriage before they got shot, and the three MPs managed to hijack the carriage as Mikasa tried to chase after them.
Levi stopped Mikasa and said, "Don't do it! Fall back!"
Mikasa tried to struggle, but Levi kept pushing her back. With tears in her eyes, she yelled, "EERRREEENNN!"
Mikasa is a little angry that runt is stopping her from getting Eren.
"Damn it... why would I have to be shot..." Eren is now frustrated as he turns to Mikasa, "I promise that I'm not going to suffer the same thing again."
The Levi Squad was gathering around the fire, Jean turned to Armin and asked, "What's wrong? This grimy place kills your appetite?"
"No...Jean, there's something I don't understand..."
"What's that?"
"When I shot that gun to save you... I honestly thought I didn't make it in time. Sorry, but...why was I the one who shot first?"
Jean lowered his head while closing his eyes, not wanting to remember the scene. "That's..."
Levi replied, "Because the other person hesitated. It's true."
"Armin, I'm sorry... I should've done what I had to do." Jean muttered.
"I know what it is...The person that I killed... I bet they were a nice person." Armin said, "Someone that was much more human than I am...I pulled the trigger so easily... I did...I'm..."
Armin can understand what he's feeling right now, and he might have done the same thing as the TV self.
Levi said, "Armin, you've got blood on your hands now. You can't go back to who you were."
"Why would you say that?" Mikasa asked.
"Embrace the new you. Just think, if your hands were still clean... Jean wouldn't be here right now." Levi said.
Eren says, "I have to agree with Captain Levi. I was the same as you, Armin. If my hands were still clean, Mikasa wouldn't be here with us since the beginning."
Mikasa blushes a little as she tries to cover it with the scarf.
"I'll tell you why you pulled the trigger... Because your comrade was about to die. Armin... Thanks to you getting blood on your hands, nobody on our squad ended up dead. Thank you." Levi said.
Armin frowned, and Jean said, "Captain Levi, I... I thought it was wrong to be fighting other humans... And wrong for you to order us to do it. I was afraid to be hurting other people. But... I'm the one who was wrong. Next time, I'll shoot."
"I never said anything about who was right or wrong. I don't even know myself. Are you really the one in the wrong?" Levi asked.
Everyone in the room is thinking about what Levi has said, is it really wrong to hurt other people?
As for Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie, they are staring at the others as they are also thinking if Marley is wrong or not.
Erwin thinks, Looks like everyone here has a lot to think about, but then again, to think they are going to suffer so much.
"Now then..." Levi stood up and walked towards the prisoner who was tied up. "It's about time we hear what he has to say."
He took off the mouth bindings on the salesman and he said, "Wait! I'm just an old man used for moving wagons around the-"
"I've met this man once before." Mikasa said.
The scene changed to the Battle of Trost as Mikasa continued, "In the city, people were calling him Boss."
Levi said, "Yeah, I know. Dimo Reeves, right?"
"Tsk. We were just following orders the Military Police forced on us. And failed big time..." Dimo muttered. "They'll plunder the Reeves Company for all that it's worth. They won't stop with me and my dumb son. They'll make sure all my employees die in so-called accidents."
"So he really cares about the people..." Mikasa mutters.
"So you'll die without a fight?" Levi asked. "Trost should have collapsed by now, but it's persevered. That's because the Reeves Company brings people and work together. But if the company was gone for good, just how few would survive the winter?"
"Are you suggesting I team up with you?" Dimo asked.
"We just need to know where Eren and Historia are. If you're supplying the Military Police, we can figure something out." Levi said.
"But can you stop my city and employees from dying of starvation?" Dimo asked.
"I can't guarantee it. However, you can trust that we'll move towards that end."
"So we're going to use him to help us instead." Eren says.
"Considering the situation we're in, there is no other choice." Mikasa notes.
Hange and Moblit arrived at Scout Regiment's barracks once the Military Police left, and Hange said, "Finally, the nuisance is gone."
She slammed the door open and yelled, "Erwin, big trouble! The situation got worse! There are two things! The first is that Eren and Historia were abducted! Three on my team were killed, too."
"We'll make sure that it won't happen again." Nifa says to Hange, who nods back.
"I'm planning to meet up with Levi to see if we can hunt down their location." Hange said.
"And? The other?" Erwin asked.
"Eren remembered a conversation between Ymir and Bertolt, but...Shit, if this is true...my head's gonna explode!"
"Looks like even Future Section Commander Hange is riled up by this..." Petra says.
"I wonder what it means..." Kenji asks.
"Calm down!" Moblit said.
"What's the problem?" Erwin asked while giving Hange the cup of water.
Hange quickly gulped the water down and said, "If we don't rescue him quickly, Eren will get eaten!"
Everyone widens their eyes, and so are the Warriors. Armin says, "Does that mean this Lord Reiss has the way to create pure Titans so they can feed Eren?"
"It is not impossible..." Reiner says, "But it will be worse if Eren is eaten."
Under the pretense of being on the side of the MPs, Dimo Reeves lead two Interior Squad members, Ralph and Sannes, to the location of Levi's hideout.
"Those two again..." Hange mutters.
"Hey! Are Levi and them actually there?" Sannes asked.
"They are. I promised him I'd cooperate, so they let us go for some reason." Dimo replied.
As the wagon stopped, Sannes came out of the wagon and asked, "Are they here?"
Just then, Jean aimed his rifle at Sannes, with Levi by his side. Jean used the rifle to knock out Sannes.
"Reeves, you damn-" Ralph yelled, but he was knocked out by Mikasa.
"Sorry about that, pals." Dimo said.
"That seems easier by watching the screen..." Jean says.
"But we are not sure if things are going to be easy from now on..." Levi notes.
After the two men are brought inside, Flegel asked his father, "What now? Does this really mean we're safe, Old Man?"
"There's no guarantee." Dimo replied.
"You're kidding! Then why?" Dimo slapped Flegel and replied, "A merchant must learn to follow their nose. Not just to smell easy money, but to sniff out profit awaiting in the future. Once you find it, bite and don't let go. Got it? Remember that."
Hange and Moblit arrived at the meeting spot, and Hange slammed the door open.
"Do you really need to slam the door every time you walk in, Four-Eyes?" Levi asks.
"Can't blame me if things are important." Hange replies.
"Sorry, I'm late! You're still going at it?" Hange asked.
"Yeah, I'm pretty new to this." Levi turned to Hange with Sannes tied on the chair beside him.
"Sannes! You should know I'm also a novice at human torture, so please bear with me!" Hange said.
"Wait, you're going to torture a human?" Connie asks.
"Wow... to think we're doing the same thing as the Military Police..." Sasha adds.
Everyone feels horrified as they continue to watch with intensity.
"Wait! What do you even want?!" Sannes was terrified. "Who the hell tortures without asking questions?"
"Oh, right... We do have some questions for you." Levi said. "Where are Eren and Historia? Why are you after Historia? What's the Reiss Family?"
"Too slow! Can't you see that we're in a hurry!" Hange yelled while trying to rip off his nails, causing him to scream.
"Looks like he is not going to end well." Eren says.
"I'm glad I'm not him..." Armin adds.
"And you even get the nail on your first try... Section Commander." Moblit says.
"It starts again..." On the top floor, Mikasa, Jean, Armin, Connie, and Sasha are gathering around the table.
"I feel like the screams are louder than when the captain did it." Armin said.
"Even though I know it's to save those two, it makes me sick." Jean said.
We're feeling the same way... Armin thinks.
"Let's face it... We're criminals now." Armin muttered. "The enemies that we're fighting...We're not killing them because they're trying to eat us, it's because their views are different. No, just the group they belong to. And for that, their lives..."
Mikasa said, "Armin..."
"All of us... We're not good people anymore." Armin replied.
"Now that you think of it, you're right about that. Who knows how many lives are gone because of us." Eren says.
"It's hard to face the truth, but we have to keep moving on." Erwin says.
"Sorry, I can't peel nails as well as you. Just how many did you peel to get so good?" Hange asked.
Sannes was in pain as his voice quivered, "Too many to count. Within these cramped walls, do you know why war has never broken out? It's because the First Interior Squad dirtied our hands to protect the peace."
A picture of two MP torturing a teacher appeared. "A teacher too smart for their own good..."
Erwin grits his teeth, Father...
"Wait... is that the Commander's father?" Mike notices Erwin's face and everyone tenses up.
Everyone also gasps as Levi feels an urge to run out of the room and chase Sannes down.
A picture of Military Police surrounding people riding on a hot air balloon. "A stupid couple who tried to fly..."
Armin frowns as he says, "Mom... Dad..."
"So that's how you lose your parents..." Eren says with anger. "Unforgivable..."
"I'm sorry, Armin..." Annie mutters as she feels bad for him.
"A whore from some ranch in the sticks!" Then the picture showed Historia standing in front of her mother, who is being killed in front of her.
Historia widens her eyes as she mutters, "Mother..."
Ymir notices her widened eyes. So that's Historia's mother... which means the man there was Lord Reiss...
"Humanity has only made it this far because we erased them!" Sannes said. "You should be thanking us! I've never seen anyone get more pleasure out of torture than you guys! You're monsters!"
"Monsters?" Jean yells with anger. "None of this are justified!"
"Maybe we should think of a worse torture." Hange says. "You're with me, Levi?"
"Of course, he should pay." Levi says.
"But I'm not even afraid. I... I have... I have the King, I... I believe in the King and peace in the walls. That all the things we've done were justified... But...To think it hurt this much... Go on and torture me to death already. That's all I ever did with this blood-stained life of mine."
"He's pathetic." Sasha says.
"Yeah, he's just making excuses." Oluo says.
Levi and Hange stared at the man before Levi turned, "Time for a break."
Hange and Moblit also left, with Hange saying, "That's troubling... I'm beginning to feel sorry for him."
"So you're just going to give up torturing him?" Eren asks.
"Maybe there is another way? I mean without Torture?" Armin asks.
"The door isn't closed, so I think you two are up to something." Erwin says.
Hange and Levi start to smirk, and everyone shivers at their faces.
Sannes was still in the torture room when he heard Ralph's voice. "Quit shoving me. It hurts..."
"Ralph..." He saw Ralph being taken upstairs by Levi and Hange.
"You're pathetic. It only took one nail to make you talk." Levi said to him.
Sannes widened his eyes as Levi continued, "Sannes doesn't have any nails left. You're nothing like him."
"Like I care? That was his decision. The guy never shuts up about peace and the King. The rest of us hate him. Do us a favor and kill him already!" Ralph had a gun at his neck as he said the words.
Sannes couldn't believe what he was hearing, and Levi continued, "We're not letting it happen until he verifies your story."
"You already got what you wanted out of me. Gimme a break." Ralph said while looking at the paper. Hange was pointing out the lines that he should read. "Will I be getting a bed in my cell, or what?"
"Wait, did you seriously force him to read what's on the paper to break the trust? That's quite cruel." Reiner says.
"If that will work, maybe we can just do this at the beginning instead of torturing." Connie says.
"Though I really hope that he's dead instead..." Armin says, causing everyoe to jump a little.
"Soon." Levi says as they shudder.
Sannes closed his eyes, can't believe that his comrade betrayed him. When he opened his eyes again Levi and Hange opened the door and Hange said, "Ready, Sannes? Let's try again. This is tough for me, too, but I'll do my best to-"
"Reiss is the true royal family." Sannes said.
"Wait what? That means Historia is a royalty?" Hange asked.
"No way!" "What a surprise!" "Wow!" Everyone in the room turns to Historia, who is blushing in surprise.
"That explains how can you be so perfect." Ymir smiles at Historia.
Damn... if that happens, it will be harder to marry her... Reiner thinks.
Erwin was looking out the window, knowing that something is going on.
"So much for trying not to stand out." In another place, Dimo and two of his man are waiting outside the building. "Flegel is taking forever, dammit."
Just then, Kenny appeared behind Dimo and covered his mouth while having the knife to his throat. "Merchants shouldn't be sellouts when it comes to trust."
"Kenny again..." Levi mutters.
"So the ripper thing was true after all..." Petra mutters.
"He did the same thing to how many MPs out there?" Bertolt asks.
"A lot..." Annie replies.
Then Dimo was slit as he fell to the ground dead, Caven asked, "Was it wise not to ask him where Levi is?"
"He'll show up even if we do nothing." Kenny replied.
"How do you know?"
"Because I raised him. Levi Ackerman is just that kind of guy." Kenny said as he left with Caven. Flegel noticed the whole scene as he was hiding behind the wall scared.
"A-Ackerman?"
Mikasa can't believe what she's hearing, and the same goes for Levi.
"What the fuck is going on here?"
"Does that mean Captain Levi and Mikasa are related or something?" Armin asks.
"I didn't know my last name...how would Kenny know that?" Levi asks. And just my luck, the person who hated me is my relative.
"So I still have family..." Mikasa mutters.
"Go on, Levi. You should hug your relative." Hange suggests.
"No, thank you." Levi mutters.
"No wonder the two of you have similar strength..." Petra says. "Because both of you are Ackermanns."
"But what's the deal and how would Kenny know about that?" Moblit asks.
Back with the scouts, Armin said, "The true royal successor... is Historia?"
"What?" Another shock comes to them. Eren says, "That means Historia is going to be the queen of walls?"
"If that's the case, we need to get it happen!" Armin says, "If Historia is the queen, it will be easier to take back Wall Maria!"
Historia says, "But me... a queen? I..."
"I think you can do it." Erwin says, "Since you're kind and caring, and seeing what the government is right now, we will definitely need someone like you in the government."

"In other words, both Eren and Historia are likely wherever Rod Reiss is." Hange said.
Moblit nodded at Hange before showing the picture of Rod Reiss. "That's him." Levi said.
In another place, Rod Reiss was looking at Historia. "Historia."
Then he gave her a hug, "I'm sorry for everything..."
Historia widened his eyes, and beside them, Eren was still tied up and lying on the ground, his eyes were half-opened.
"And that is the end of the episode. We'll be taking another 10-minute break." Ray says.
"So that was your father, the true king of walls?" Erwin asks Historia.
"Yes...that is my father. But are you sure I can really become a queen?" Historia asks.
"You don't need to worry, we'll make sure it happens. It will happen, right, Ray?" Hange turns to Ray.

"But seriously, a lot of things happened in just this episode..." Eren says. "Historia might become the queen, and both Mikasa and Captain Levi are related..."
"But how did Kenny know my last name?" Levi asks. "Was it because of my mother?"
"Your mother?" Mike asks. "So this Kenny know your mother?"
"I guess it has to be..." Levi replies.
"That's why we might know in future episodes, I hope." Erwin says.
