Story Start
Ratchet was the first beautiful sight the newlyweds saw the next morning when they left their quarters. Ratchet wanted to make sure their spark bonding went well without any complications. He had to check since Tiffani had been changed into a femme. He would be doing the same thing for Lexi and Optimus tomorrow since their wedding was today and spark bonding was tonight.
"Ratchet, enough with the scans, is she ok? Are we ok?" Ironhide snapped from his spot in the medbay. He was tired of Ratchet scanning both of them and making reports. He wanted to actually enjoy the first day with his spark mate before time for Optimus' wedding.
"Ironhide, quit rushing me," Ratchet snapped and held up a wrench in a threatening manner. Ratchet sighed and set down the tool to look at his reports one more time. "The spark bonding was successful, no issues. If either of you feel anything out of the ordinary, then comm me immediately or come here to the medbay," Ratchet ordered both of them before waving them out with another sigh.
"Freedom," Tiffani shouted. She grabbed Ironhide's hand and made them run out of the medbay and straight to the shooting range.
"A femme after my own spark," Ironhide said with a chuckle when he saw where Tiffani lead them to.
"Ok, so time for more training! I want to be ready when I run into Starscream, ready to rip him to pieces," Tiffani cheered and laughed when Ironhide just smirked at her.
Lexi was nervous as she stood in the exact spot that Tiffani stood in yesterday. Tiffani had already walked down the aisle and was standing by Ratchet, who would be leading the ceremony since Ironhide was Optimus' best man. Annabelle was now walking down the aisle again in a different flower girl dress. The little girl had insisted on a second dress for Lexi's wedding.
Lexi never thought she would be marrying a mech from outer space, but as she walked down the aisle to a smiling Optimus Prime, she didn't see anything weird about this scenario. All she felt was joy. She was marrying the mech she loved.
The ceremony was cute and sweet as Lexi and Optimus sealed their marriage with a kiss. They stayed at the reception longer than Tiffani and Ironhide had. The private spark bonding went well later between the two of them. Lexi was definitely more shy than Tiffani had been, but eventually Optimus calmed her down and their sparks became one.
The next day they were greeted by Ratchet and ended up at his med bay. Optimus and Lexi were more patient with the scans and reports that Ratchet did, and thankfully their sparks were fine.
Optimus walked Lexi to the training area where Tiffani was currently fighting with Sunstreaker and Sideswipe for practice. He gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek before he left to go to a meeting with Will and some other officials.
Later that day, the friends were relaxing outside just talking about how the spark bonding went.
"Children," a voice appeared in their heads making both Tiffani and Lexi stop talking.
"Did you hear someone just say children?" Lexi asked and she was really freaked out from the surprise voice.
"Yup, I heard that too," Tiffani replied as she looked around like it wasn't just in her head.
"You can have sparklings now. Continue our race, have children," the voice said this time.
"All Spark?" Lexi questioned and both girls felt warmth and love from the voice.
"Oh my god, we can have babies," Tiffani said in shock.
"Take care of each other, and thank you," the All Spark said before going quiet.
"I never thought we would hear the All Spark again," Lexi said and Tiffani nodded.
"Well I'm not sure how Autobots have babies. Let's go ask Ratchet, he'll know," Tiffani said and went to grab Lexi's hand. Lexi pulled her hand away before Tiffani could grab it. "What's wrong?" Tiffani asked her friend.
"I've never even thought we could have babies after we were turned into femmes," Lexi said and looked at the sky in surprise.
"Well I know you've always wanted kids and even better you'll have kids with your amazing husband Optimus Prime! I've never thought about being a mother but I can see Ironhide being a good dad," Tiffani said and gave her friend a hug. "Now let's go ask Ratchet how babies are made with mechs," she continued and laughed when her friend shook her head at her.
Ratchet dropped whatever was in his hands after he heard what Tiffani and Lexi just asked him. They had barged into his med bay and he was about to throw something at them, but then he froze when they asked him how mechs and femmes have babies also known as sparklings.
"I think we broke him," Lexi whispered to Tiffani. The two femmes were still staring at a frozen Ratchet.
Ratchet shook himself out of his shock and gave the two femmes a critical look. "Why are you asking me about that? I haven't even considered the possibility that you two, who were turned into femmes by the power of the All Spark, could produce sparklings," he said and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well we are asking you this question because the All Spark gave us one more message telling us to have children. So Tiffani said we should ask how mechs and femmes have children," Lexi explained while both girls sat down in Ratchet's office.
Ratchet looked between the two friends a few times before sighing. He locked the med bay door and took a seat to explain to the two new femmes how sparklings are made. "If they really did hear that from the All Spark then we could have some sparklings running around again," he thought. He knew all of the Autobots would be excited to be around sparklings again. It had been so long since a sparkling had been born.
