'What If?'
He's everything I could ever want
His eyes, his smile
And lately I've been thinking
What if he looked at me that way
What if he looked at me the way the looks at her
What if I was the one he cared about
What if I was the one he talked to
What if I was the one he held
What if I was the one he smiled at
What if I wasn't just a know-it-all to him
What if I could work up the courage to tell him how I feel
Would good things happen
What if I let myself become vulnerable
What if I took a chance
What if I was different
What if I was more like her
Even though I completely hate her
What if I was more like her
What if I was his all
What if I had tired to get to know him
What if I had been braver
What if I hadn't hidden
What if I wasn't such a coward
I'm not usually
But he's different
He's the one I can't get over
He's the one I have liked since last year
He's the one that makes me smile, cry, and laugh, all without knowing it
He's the one that sparks a feeling inside of me
He's the one that causes butterflies in my stomach
He's the one that makes me blush
He's the one that I love for him
He's amazing in every sense
He's the one I think about
He's the one I talk to my friend's about
He's the one I wish wasn't taken
He's the one I wish was mine
What if I had taken a chance
