The trip was still a bit out but there was always something to kill time with how their lives went. Fortunately for them, it was always interesting. In front of them they saw Rias dressed in something oddly familiar as she had her hair pulled back into twin tails and she a toy staff in her hand twirling it around. "Magical Girl Ria defeated all the villains with my twinkle magic." She said as she struck a pose with her right leg hiked up holding out the toy staff.
Rias dressed as a Magical girl was not something anybody expected to see but it worked surprisingly well. Why? Well, Serafall of course is the reason why. She wanted a new movie and was looking for a new sidekick. Sona begged Rias to help her out with an audition. "Yes Yes great job Rias!" Serafall said as she winked at her as sparkles were sent out with her cutesy pose. "Next it's.." Serafall threw her hands up in the air as the area rained down with sparkles "Sona"
Issei was watching this amazing shit show go down as he played protection for the little audition. The thing is Serafall is a VIP in all parts of the world, sure she can defend herself but the notion of somebody attacking her wasn't too far gone. Female magicians had done it a few times as Serafall gave their kinda bad rap, but nobody seemed to inform them about a sailor on the moon. "Sona!" Issei got her to look back at him as he gave her a thumbs up "You look cute even with matching panties!" Issei could see them as he was sitting on the ground
Sona was flustered with that as she saw his stupid smile "You are supposed to be on my team." Rias said to him."
"Oh, I am."
Serafall gasped hearing that "Oppai DragonXSwich PrincessXMagical Girl SonaX Magical Girl Levi Tan super sexy night."
Sona tried covering her butt "Sister this is already embarrassing and now you are spouting nonsense." She looked over to Rias "Help me out here Rias this costume is embarrassing enough, and now he's hitting on me."
Rias sighed "Issei stop hitting on Sona she doesn't seem like your type."
Issei and Serafall faked a gasp at that in unison. "How could you say such a thing." He quickly stood up and got between the two girls as he grabbed onto them and pulled them together. "Just look at them."
"Yes, Girls love!" Serafall squirmed seeing what clearly wasn't there but if it could embarrass Rias and Serafall got a kick out of Sona it was worth it in the end. "And the dragon takes away my magical girl team members."
"This is already embarrassing enough" Sona complained as Issei looked down seeing that her face was already red. He knew that she didn't partake in the same hobbies as Serafall did but the magical girl outfit was a kicker.
"What about you Rias?" He asked
"It's different, the Outfit is a little tight around the chest."
"A magical girl's outfit must be perfect at all times." Serafall proudly told them.
Issei looked over at Serafall "Who else can we get in one of these outfits?" Sona was quick to stomp on his foot "Ouch! What was that for?"
"You know what it's for."
"Oh what about Koneko, or maybe Tsu Tsu" Serafall had a big smile on her face thinking of the possibilities.
Something was clicking in Rias' brain and the cogs were moving. "Something feels like it's missing here."
Issei thought about it "I think I know what you're saying. Maybe a girly tomboy? Xenovia? No how about Tsubasa."
"What about a crossdresser?" Serafall asked.
"There's a crossdresser who wants to be a magical girl in this town. He watches your show." Rias told Serafall that as she was getting ideas flowing.
"That sounds amazing. But this is a show for girls and that's also weird."
"Did something happen between you two?" Rias asked Sona as she was still acting a little funny after he pulled them in.
"No nothing happened." Sona was quick to readjust herself and push up her glasses.
Rias looked over at Issei with a smug smile on her face "Well done Issei, you managed to charm almost everyone woman you've come across."
"So how do you do it?" Serafall asked wanting in on the girl talk.
"I don't know." He looked at Rias and Serafall "You two tell me."
"Just tell her." Sona said trying to deflect everything away from her.
"OH?" Issei heard that from Sona and it was a small surprise to him. "Okay then" He took a step to get behind Sona and put his arms around her. "You see Sona here lost her virginity a while ago. And ever since then she's been a little funny."
Rias was somewhat surprised to hear that as she blinked a few times to make sure it went through "You didn't rape her did you?"
"No" Issei, Sona, and Serafall all said at the same time making Rias flinch as she wasn't expecting an answer in unison.
"Serafall wanted a foursome and Sona was one of the participants." He grabbed onto Sona's waist and got close to her hear "But she needs to decide."
"You know I can't say I'm surprised but I am at the same time."
Issei nodded at that "Tell me about it. If you would have told me that I was going to be able to have fun with her I would have called you crazy." He lifted his head so she could see Rias "Cheer up Sona, you still have time to choose." His hand moved down to her exposed midriff and swirled his finger around "But I never said I was going to make it easy."
Sona fell to her knees not saying a word or making any noise "Looks like you made her faint" Serafall said seeing her sister just sitting at his feet.
"Can you blame the poor girl?" Rias said pointing to her outfit. "These outfits are a little skimpy even for Sona."
He looked over to Serafall "Your sister is a prude, and I think that's why I like her so much."
Rias shook her head "And I think I know why." Tomorrow for her would explain more.
The following day however the girls were able to pull it off is beyond magic but somehow they did and they were about to throw Issei out of the house for a while. All of the girls had gathered in the living room as they were sitting across from some important women from Issei's past, Gabriel, Aphrodite, and Amaterasu who was back and forth doing other things but still participating nonetheless.
"Oh my." The blond bombshell of a woman said seeing all the girls in front of her "I didn't think we would be meeting like this so soon."
"Yes I didn't think so as well but here we are. Considering we have a mutual acquaintance in one Dragon."
Gabriel smiled knowing full well it was about Issei "How has Issei been doing?"
"Good?" Rias looked at the others wondering if that was the best way to describe him.
Aphrodite looked at the girls as she was running her hand through her long pink hair "Oh yeah I bet he's doing real good." She smiled knowing full well only a few of those girls were still virgins. Looking at Koneko she pointed at her "Your one of those catgirls right?" Koneko nodded "Oh that surprises me then."
"And just what surprises you?" Gabriel asked Aphrodite.
"Well I could tell you but I would not want to be one that causes you to fall."
Gabriel sighed hearing that "I'm well aware of the acts of man and that Issei no longer has his purity."
"Purity, now that is funny." Amaterasu laughed hearing that "I tried shacking up with him and he as yet to have his way with me.
"Lady Rias what did you want to speak about?" Gabriel ignored the other two.
"We" Rias looked around at the girls "Wanted to know more about Issei. The things that only you could tell us."
She sighed hearing that. "The poor child had it rough. I don't know how much he has told you. But I found him some a short time after he had a burst of power. He was badly injured and horribly mutilated from the attack and his life was fading. Confirming what sacred gear he held was quite obvious from the red gauntlet on his hand. With no way of hiding that and taking him to a hospital in the human world, it was best that I took him to Heaven and had Raphael perform surgery on him to save his life. But it took over a year for him to awaken from the surgery."
"After he awoke his body was more dragon than human as it was obvious to see that. Ddraig had hardened his body or changed it to save him as well. Once he did wake up it was something all-new for him, we quickly found out that he was rather attached to me."
Aphrodite snickered hearing that "There are two spherical reasons why."
"Yeah no that has to be it." Amaterasu was in agreeance with the Greek Goddess "Tell me something young ones. If it has breasts and is nice to him will he hit on her?" The girls looked around at each other somewhat agreeing on that crude statement. "See, and Gabriel here has a set that makes most other gods jealous."
"My back hurts just thinking about them." Katase said with a slight blush on her face.
That's when a thought came across Rias' mind "Does anyone want to take bets that he's done it to Sona?" Some questions were being risen now from the others.
"Anyways…" Gabriel got their attention once again. "I believe he was looking for a mother figure after the accident considering the shape he was in. But his attachment became something like a pet as he always want to lay on my lap or my shoulder when he could. Once he got accustomed to everything and was willing to speak we made sure he was sane and he understood the reality of what happened that night. We also ran an investigation as well onto anything that we could find out but not much showed up. Issei however understood everything and took it surprisingly way too well. Couple with his newfound strength and no way to release him back into human society properly so the Seraphs decided that it would be best if we trained him."
"Excuse me Lady Gabriel" Irina spoke out "Did he ever speak about me?"
"We didn't know the two of you were acquainted until he was much older. He didn't speak much at all early on and nothing about his past as well. It would have helped if we knew about the association. We think that his human psyche was altered or distorted disturbed somehow by his body transformation and that led to him being quiet about anything before the split. I had to train him most of the time building up the fundamentals of combat between my duties. That was the one thing he took too easily as he was able to fight in hand-to-hand combat with some of the more seasoned warriors at a rapid pace."
"Dragons are known for their immense strength so that makes sense." Akeno said getting a nod from Gabriel.
"They're also known for being hoarders. What they horde is up to the dragon in question." Amaterasu pointed that one out.
"We never found that one out." Gabriel was quick to inform everyone surprising them.
"Wait what?" Aphrodite was shocked to hear that "How could you not it obvious what it is."
The devils understood quite well what it was as it didn't take a rocket scientist to put one and one. "I hate to tell you Lady Gabriel but he hordes women." Rias said as all the girls were in agreeance as they were the subject of his horde.
Katase and Murayama raised their hands "He started with us, and added on everyone else." "Well except for Koneko here he hasn't gotten her, not for the lack of trying."
"See" Amaterasu put her arms around Gabriel "He wants what he sees as the pinnacle. And considering how much he's into breasts" She looked at the stacked angel "Yeah that's why, but there are plenty of problems that go along with it. Mainly with you so please continue about our mutual dragon interest."
"Right, so as we trained him and he excelled in hand-to-hand combat and didn't care much for swords, magic was left out as teaching him how to use Angelic techniques. Fortunately for him, he learned how to use fire. He didn't see how he learned how to do it but the only person who could have taught him to breathe fire is Ddraig. Once he had a grasp on this world we decided to try to reintegrate him into the world. First, we had him do simple escort jobs within the Vatican. That got him interacting with humans again but things unraveled as those jobs turned into some fights and eventually to the point where he ended up coming upon some people smuggling humans."
"He killed them didn't he?" Koneko asked
Gabrial nodded "He did, we found out they were smuggling people into sex trafficking rings. I can't blame him for what he did but I also don't fully agree with how he went about it. Much later on, some of our younger nuns started to disappear. When we investigated it there was no pattern as to why any of the girls disappeared and we kept a more watchful eye on the ones we had left. Issei was assigned to a set of twins as he watched over them and one night the perpetrator revealed themself."
"Diodora Astaroth," Rias said knowing full well where this was going. "The end of that story was revealed to the underworld."
"Unfortunately, something like that happened but at least we can help those girls with everything that has happened."
"Yes not everyone in the underworld is particularly pleased with his actions. There will always be some outliers but the majority don't agree with how he went about it."
Gabriel was somewhat relieved to hear that from Rias. "Things in this world are always out of our control no matter how hard we try to aline the dots."
Next to the couch, a silver magic circle appeared with 4 spikes on the outside of it as out came a very tan woman with lime green eyes who was around the same height as Rias her defining feature was two horns on her head black on the outside and green inside with a short silvery-white hair. Her outfit was a black crop top that showed off her midriff blue jeans and two red straps that ran over her shoulders and into her pants. "Excuse my intrusion Kami" She bent over bowing her head as they saw a white fluffy circle near her ass.
Amaterasu reached over and grabbed ahold of the fur and fluffed it up as they heard a squeak from her. Amaterasu laughed hearing that "If you don't want it touched hid your tail." She pulled her hand away "What are you doing here Zest?"
The now-named woman realigned herself with the present situation "Sorry but they asked me to deliver this to you. It comes from the recent works project and they said it is of the utmost urgency." She handed over a few papers to Amaterasu as she looked them over.
"Well now, this is interesting." She said as she handed them to Gabriel "Look familiar?" Amaterasu looked at the kids "This here is Zest, she's a rabbit."
"Please tell me Issei isn't here." She looked around for him. "And you know I'm a demonic rabbit."
She laughed hearing Zest's complaint "Looking like this and you are worried that he's going to play with your tail."
"Wait so there are rabbit girls as well? What's next Fox and dogs?" Murayama was interested in what else there was.
"There's plenty of Youkai species, Rabbits from the moon making mochi. Also Dog and fox youkai as well, but cat youkai are more common."
Gabriel handed the papers back to Amaterasu "That looks like her from what I remember seeing."
"Interesting" She looked at the kids "Well then Issei's mother back in her day once applied for work in the shrine systems. She was denied due to location and background. Seems as if this family mystery only gets deeper and deeper."
"My mother informed me that she was a contract magician for her for a short time." Rias told them as this was news for everyone.
"Now the rabbit hole gets deeper." Aphrodite smiled as she looked over to Zest only getting a frown from her.
"Quite so, it seems as if nobody knows why things played out the way they did. But here we are with one child looking for a new path in life."
Hearing that from Gabrial Amatarasu handed the documents back to Zest "Take these to my office, then return to whatever you were doing."
"Yes Kama" She bowed her head once again and disappeared leaving the room.
"Okay so…" Irina held her hand up "If Issei grew up in heaven with you and he wasn't a pervert when we were kids what caused the change?"
Aphrodite snapped her fingers getting their attention "Yep that was me my bad. I was…" She was trying to come up with a better word than saying horny in front of the innocent one. "Excited to see fresh meat. And one thing lead to another and I got out of hand."
"How out of hand?" Akeno asked wondering what it took.
"I had to spike the refreshment supply at a feast. An Orgy broke out but that's nothing new for us Olympians but I unlocked his primal side."
"Temptation is a sin." Gabriel tried to scold the Olympian.
"Yes well, I figured it out after the fact as some of us live on our vices. I did find out how much it would take to get a dragon basically drunk so that was interesting. Also, Issei is into older women so that explains things."
"He also has a swing with the Leviathan but not me of all people."
"She's not even that old. Like only a few hundred years old." Aphrodite looked over at them. "What like five or six hundred years old." Katase and Murayama were surprised to hear that as they were not as versed in devil history only learning parts of it. "Your new devil leaders are around that age."
"Is there anything else you would like to hear?" Gabriel asked them trying to distance herself from the direction APhrodite was going.
"How did he get so strong?" Koneko asked, "Training is one thing but for his age seems odd."
"The body of a dragon did him many favors when it came to that department. When I taught him how to throw a punch he destroyed a wall. Sparing was an interesting time as he accelerated his combat skills. Some of the other angels wanted to see how well he learned or if he was brute-forcing his way through everything. That didn't last long as some of our lower winged ranked were dispatched with relative ease. I take it as he has been training you all?"
There was a collective nod "Yes we have received a power boost." Akeno told her.
"Let me guess, everything you do, everything you learn and apply those tactics, and yet you still can't stop him?" The look on their faces was enough alone to answer the question Amatarasu's question. "You can't beat him you can outclass him when it comes to magic." She held her hand up in front of her face extending her index and middle fingers up the rest of them pointed down as a red talisman appeared on fire between her fingers "Outside of teleportation this is about all he can do with magic. If I'm being honest he kind of an idiot when it comes to magic. I taught him how to manipulate fire in his hands so he didn't have to breathe it. But even then teaching him that much was pulling teeth." Amaterasu stood up as she crafted a magic circle as she was getting ready to leave. "Issei is interesting yet boring at the same time. Oh, and don't tell him about what you heard hear today. I would rather have more information on the why than give him instead of more questions." She stepped through the portal while waving as she left.
"It seems that what you girls seek is something that can only come from him. While his past is painful there wasn't much we did outside of teaching him how to be human again." She stood up and went to head to the basement but had something to say before she left. "But there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, how you see that light is up to you."
"What about you?" Rias looked toward Aphrodite
"Want some advice in the bed?" She shrugged "I don't have much as the other two do on him. I didn't teach the poor kid things nor do I secretly love him deep down inside but I can't express it because I'm an angel."
"What?" Yumi was confused at that. "Your not…"
Aphrodite smiled hearing that "I know what I am. We gods rule over something. And the things I see are not what normal people see." She closed her right eye and opened it back up. The pupil changed to a heart for a moment before it flicked back as she smiled "At least your all happy with him and not trying to take advantage of it."
"So what did you just see with your godly powers?" Rossweisse asked her as she was quite familiar with how gods operated.
Aphrodite smiled hearing that "Do you want to open that bag of worms? The easy way out is saying that I know what you feel for Issei?" She stood up "Helps the have primordial powers over a subject. And It's so cute seeing you girls like that." Walking in front of Asia she bent over to look at the blondie "And your just so cute to begin with." She wanted to gobble Asia but knew that Issei wasn't planning on sharing. She stood back up "Well I have to leave before I get any more ideas. Because if I did you girls would be in my little harem and Issei would not be happy. Oh well…" She made her way to the door "Buy some cute matching underwear and he's always gonna be happy. If you need some advice in the bedroom hit me up. Since I'm here I'm going to poke around the city for a while, Toodle loo."
Once she was gone they looked around "Sooo gods are…." Katase was thinking about what to say.
"Weird?" Koneko asked her
"I was thinking eccentric but weird works as well."
Rias sighed hearing that "Anybody who lives long enough develops a quirk. Devils are no different."
"But did we learn anything today?" Akeno asked.
"Nothing we didn't already know." Rias sat there wondering if this was all a big waste of time or was this just a ride they were on.
A few days passed as it was one of the few nights left before the trip. Issei was greeted by not what he was expecting to see in his bedroom. Akeno was there wearing only a very thin nightgown that might as well dissolve if water touched it but it was slightly undersized so that overlap covered her nipples and left everything open. She ran over to Issei and latched onto him "You're going to abandon me and go to Kyoto and have fun." Unlike Issei's body, her body was soft and comforting as she held on to him.
He was quick to spin her around as his arms wrapped around her. His right reached over to her left breast and grabbed it while his left hand slid down and glanced at her pantyless groin. Placed his head on her left shoulder he pushed on her head "So was this your plan? The maiden tempts the dragon. All so he could assert his dominance over her with the lack of panties?" He spoke into her ear as he licked her ear lobe
"But I need to recharge my batteries before you are gone." She protested
His nose was pushed into her hair as he sniffed it "Oh yes but look at you." Fingers glossed around everywhere he wanted and he was happy that she never said no to his requests. "Such a needy girl"
"Ise" She moaned out
He quickly pulled his hands away from her "Alright I'll stop messing with you."
"Akeno" The two of them looked over and saw Rias standing in the doorway wearing one of her skimpy red panties and her red negligee that she often favored. "And just what are you doing?"
Akeno smiled seeing that "How scary she is. I wonder if she's jealous."
Rias shrugged it off like it was nothing "I come back from a bath and your in here without panties no less."
Issei felt his arm move as a soft sensation pushed into his back "I can't deny that."
"To bold" He heard as there was a tug on his other hand and he looked down and saw Koneko holding his hand as she had tails and ears out wearing only an oversized white t-shirt that didn't do much for her. "My turn"
Issei picked her up and walked over to the bed and place her on his lap when he sat down "You heard it, ladies, she said it was her turn."
Rias' right eyebrow was twitching as she tried to put up a strong face. "Noooo" He watched as Asia darted past Rias and over to Issei "I'm joining in tonight"
"Realy? I'm your master and you're not going to listen to me at all?" Rias asked as she knew it was futile as they were going to do whatever they wanted when it came to it. "He's mine!" She shouted as she jumped into the air and glided towards him.
While they were still devils they still had to do devil work and Issei was just toted around with them. This time they are in the Gremory mansion after school as everyone was talking about the future with Zeoticus and had to reintroduce everyone to her parents as she finished with her peerage. Rossweisse was the current one on the chopping block "I would like to create a school for Norse magic… maybe just magic in general but teach young girls how we were trained into becoming Valkyries."
Irina just smiled "I'm just happy to be here, you know as an Angel and what not. Visiting a well-off upper-class family is nice."
Issei never did find out if Tea was an upper-class thing but it was quite common with the people he knew. "I must say a magical academy of other realms of magic in our territory would be a most interesting prospect for our lands. So I look forward to seeing how well your progress goes."
"Issei" Venelana called out to him "Your class is taking the annual trip to Kyoto soon correct?"
"Yeah, we will be finishing preparations once we leave here."
"Excellent" She smiled hearing that "You know when Rias went to Kyoto she brought back some pickles that were tasty."
He raised an eyebrow hearing that "Pickles?" She smiled and nodded "I understand then still somewhat surprised that it's pickles of all things. But I can bring you some pickles."
Venelana had a slight blush on her face as she put her hand over her mouth "You don't have to do that."
"Oh?" A wide grin came across his face "But I thought you wanted some pickles? I'm fully capable of bringing a jar of pickles but are you going to share? I didn't take you for the kind of woman who would share her pickles" Akeno understood quite well what was being said but it took Rias a moment before she smacked him over the head.
The little tea party they were having continued for a little longer till they had to get back to the human world. As they were getting ready to leave they heard a little commotion and found out that it was none other than Sirzechs returning home. And that alone Rias wanted to see so there was another detour for them. When they saw him he was being accompanied by a man with black hair as it was Sairaorg in his Nobel attire. "Well if it isn't Rias and Issei" Sairaorg said seeing the two of them.
"It's so good of you to come to see us here." Rias said to him as she looked over at her brother "Welcome home, we heard that you came back and we came over here to see you before we had to go home.
"Yes, it is good to be home after a while." Sirzechs smiled as he saw his son and picked him up.
"So Sairaorg why did you come along?" Rias asked him.
"I have a delivery of apples from the Bael territory."
Sirzechs smiled at that "How thoughtful, maybe you should visit the Bael household some time and express our gratitude. Also, we were talking about the match coming up soon and he had a few requests on the rules. I'm not a rules lawyer but if the two of you agree then I can persuade the commission to agree to it. But he wants there to be no restrictions on combat everything is fair game."
Rias was surprised to hear this "Are you sure about this?" She had to know as it was outlandish to even hear that.
Sairaorg could only smile hearing that "A vampire that can stop time, your power of destruction, the Wielder of Durandal and even your queen's powers. If I cant stop that then can I even be the heir to the Bael family?"
Everyone else was surprised by his boast as they figured out that he was no different than Vali, someone who enjoyed the battle. "Scary" Gasper said as he moved behind Issei.
"Maybe you would like to take a chance in having a spar with the Red Dragon?"
An eyebrow was raised hearing that "I can do that." Issei was still skeptical as to why Sirzechs wanted him to have a spar with Sairaorg but he would humor the satan.
"This is an excellent opportunity to show you my fist." Sairaorg said as they were escorted down into the vast basement of the mansion a training section.
Once inside everyone took a seat overlooking the match that was about to happen. Sairaorg had stripped off that bulky formal attire and was only with his undershirt left. He looked over at Issei "Are you going to don your armor?"
Issei held out his hands in an open yet rigid ready to defend himself "Prove to me that I need it."
Hearing that Sairaorg was determined to make him use it as he moved in closer and started throwing punches. Issei slid his hands around and pushed the attacks around so he didn't have to dodge as many of the oncoming attacks. When he caught a small gap between the attacks he shoved his right hand forward striking Sairaorg in the chest and pushing him backward. "That was an excellent hit, but I am no ordinary devil."
The ground shifted as he saw Sairaorg coming towards him so what a better time to see how hard he could hit. Putting his arms up in a crossguard his fist crashed into the guard as Issei could feel that there was the power behind the attack and not just any power but the power of somebody who has worked for it. [Now this is a surprise.]
'I know right' Issei said to Ddraig as he spread his arms out grabbing Sairaorg's arms and pulling him in as he reared his head back and smashed it into Sairaorg's head. 'I wasn't expecting this at all, somebody who can fight.'
[A man who seriously pursues pure destructive power. And yet he has none of the Bael's power. This is something you don't see all too often.]
They saw Issei smile as he tossed Sairaorg as one of his wings came out and smacked him away. "You surprise me Saiaorg. You can throw a punch and back it up with power." He pushed his right foot down launching him towards Sairiaorg "BUT LET'S SEE YOU GO FURTHER!" He shouted as when he reached the two of them started trading blows with a lack of defense in mind.
The crowd watched as the two of them pummeled each other without a care in the world as the ground cracked around them their attacks created small shockwaves through the area. They could see a small amount of red flying everywhere from the two of them as blood was drawn, was it cracked ribs or torn skin they would have to find out later. But seeing that Sairaorg was somebody who could take a hit from Issei was something nice, lately, the people around them were no slouches as they were in the upper class of power.
Sairaorg wiped off his nosed cleaning the blood out "You punch like a rook and can dodge like Knight."
Issei swayed back and forth "Float like a butterfly." As he flicked his right hand hitting Sairaorg on the shoulder enough to make him stagger back a moment "Sting like a bee." He hopped back before Sairaorg could retaliate as he punched his two fists together they could red gauntlets on his fists. "So show me the real power that you hold."
They went in for a punch as they both swung at the same time hitting each other's fists. The pressure from the strike cracked the ground open around them. Sairaorg's hand was bloody from the attack as Issei's gauntlet was cracked surprising him the most. He could only smile seeing that his attack had done damage "I look forward to a proper fight sometime later. But for now, we will have to conclude as this area is not the best for something like this." He went over to where his clothes were and got redressed.
Issei was looking at the cracked gauntlet as Sirzechs came over as did everyone else "So how was the fight?"
What he was about to say would surprise everyone around him "What interested me is he has the power to break my gauntlet. Loki didn't even do that when he hit me with his magic."
Sirzechs smiled saying that "Sairaorg trained to make up for his inadequacies and this is where he's at as of now. Sound familiar?"
Issei could only nod at that "It does" He flex his hand as the gauntlet broke "It's all too familiar, direct attacks are what I do best as does Sairaorg. But something is missing from all of this."
"Oh, he uses the technique of the magical weights as well in case you didn't catch them."
That caught his attention "So he is faster and stronger."
"Yes, He is already on the level of other experienced kings in the Rating Games. And has fought in many battles against the Khaos Brigade. Some opponents he has fought against have seemingly lost the will to fight anymore after he defeated them. Those who pride their demonic power then get utterly defeated by somebody without it is a crushing blow. The Upper class has a massive pride issue."
"Yes, pride means nothing if you're dead." He looked over to the group "Your training just got worse as he is much stronger than he looks." Issei thought about it for a moment "He's more like me than I would like to admit."
"Except not a raging pervert?" Katase had to point.
Issei only nodded at that "Yeah, but come on I'm not that bad." As much as he wanted them to agree with him they didn't.
The following morning it was still dark out as everyone was gathered at the train station where a large group of students getting ready to get on the bullet train to head down to Kyoto. Rias was handing everyone a card "Here's a pass so you can get into Kyoto. These things are a pain to get ahold of so don't lose it. They call it a free bus pass don't ask as to why. Have fun while you're there."
Asia's phone started to right as she answered it "Yes Kiryuu? Yes, Xenovia and Irina are with me. We will be there soon."
"Alright everyone make sure you have plenty of fun while you are there and not to cause any problems."
"Yes" they said in unison as they walked towards the train.
Rias grabbed Issei and pulled him in closer and spoke in his ear "I may be able to hide it but Akeno and I are going to be lonely while you're gone. I want you here with me but I have to bear it for a short time."
"You still will have Koneko and Gasper."
She sighed hearing that "Yes I know but it's not the same"
Issei stopped her "I know I'm just playing with you." He leaned over and kissed her "That's the best we can have for now. That and there are too many people around."
Rias smiled hearing that "Yes I guess I will have to make do with it. Take care Ise and keep out of trouble." Issei then took off leaving her alone for the time.
On the train, everyone was sitting in their little groups next to each other as they talked to each other. Infront of Issei was Matsuda and Motohama and across from Issei was Xenovia and Irina. They all watched as the landscape changed as the bullet train zipped past into the countryside. "Hey, Issei." He heard a soft female voice as he looked over and saw Xenovia next to him.
"Yes?" He looked over at her wondering what was going on.
"I'm unarmed, I didn't bring Durandal with me."
"Why?" He wondered what would possess her to do such a stupid thing. You never know what would happen and she wouldn't have a weapon.
"The alchemists of the Orthodox Church requested it. They found a technique to suppress Durandal's offensive aura and Heaven sent it to them yesterday." She had a small laugh "It's funny that the Orthodox Church is helping now."
"Okay but why?"
"It's a rare opportunity to have a sword reforged. The thought of suppressing Durandals offensive aura without damaging it is great. I can't fully control it so this will make carrying it around much easier as well. This is just my trial as a Knight, the Lord will guide me."
"Right," He watched as she started her self-punishment routine wondering if everything was set in motion by a dead man "I'll give you Ascalon if something happens. You still need to learn how to punch then."
"Thanks, Maybe you should train with swords more often. You have two holy swords it would be a shame to waste them away." She placed her hand on his leg "Have some fun working with Yumi." She made a quick jump back to her seat leaving Issei by himself again to stare out the window for a while.
After a while, there was some squealing from the girls. Issei looked up and saw Yumi as she was standing in the aisle. "Yumi is going to get eaten by the dragon." Some of the girls called out as they saw a hand come out into the Isle and look like it was going to grab her.
Yumi put a quick stop as she sat down in the free chair. "What's this about a dragon?"
"Murayama mention it jokingly and it stuck" Issei said as he peered over the seats looking at the girls with a big grin on his face. It was almost as if he was taunting the other girls.
"Right, I came over here to see what your group's itinerary was going to be. Everyone not with you will be traveling with me as they thought it would be fun to hang out with the other kendo girls."
"You got a schedule written out for yours?" Issei asked as sat back down in the chair?
"Sure do." Yumi handed Issei the paper as he started looking it over.
"Looks like we're doing everything backward from your group. We plan on going to see all the famous stuff in the first two days. And if we can Irina wants to see the tower if we have time so that's been planned for."
"So our paths will cross at the Togetsu bridge then if everything goes according to plan."
Issei nodded "Yeah that sounds about right."
"How was your time with Rias at the Maou sanction events?" She asked changing the subject.
He sighed hearing about that "The Underworld and all the fancy parties. If it's not one stuck-up Nobel it's another with her head so far up her ass. You rarely find someone who you can talk to without everything being a business deal or trying to use me for their motives. And on top of that, the Gremory family ritual was an odd way to confirm an engagement. But at least her family is a group of people that you can talk to like a normal person."
"I see," Yumi said "I have a question tho. After watching your fight with Sairaorg I was wondering how do we get stronger?"
Issei had to think about that one for a moment "That's a good question. The body can only go so far so fast. Since you are a Knight you are limited in what you can do with magical power and defensive abilities. But outside of pushing how fast you can go and improving your sword technique, you could improve how you deal with your downsides. Magic sword techniques are possible to learn but also something that would help you conserve your energy for endurance battles." He had a wide smile on his face as he looked at her as he got close to her and whispered in her ear "There's another way to increase your endurance."
He couldn't help but tease the girls he was around. For a bunch of devils, they were modest and that was somewhat odd to him. But he could never take it too far depending on who it was or how she felt about him. "That's not what I meant." Yumi looked away as she had a small blush on her face.
"Oh I know, but I would like to." He had to stop as there was only so far he could go as they were in a public space. "Anyways, you need to think of yourself like a Queen. The ability to do anything but in reality you're a knight. Only then can you think of ways to improve on yourself."
"That sounds as if you've been on that route before."
A nod of the head was quick to follow up with that "Something like that. Putting in evil piece terms, you could say I mastered the Rook and Knight."
"And yet the bishop portion is lacking. So how come you can use fire to such a level if that's the case?"
He held his hand out. "I was taught just enough magic on how to bring what is generated internally outwards differently." She saw as his hand glowed a light hue of green as a very small flame appeared "Outside of that changing the size is about air to dragonic energy levels." He snapped his hands closed as the flame was snuffed away.
"If Sairaorg cracked your armor then we have a long ways to go in a short amount of time. Oh, and since you're going to be buying gifts tell me when you go I want to pick up a few things as well."
"Ah yes, pickles." He looked over at Yumi thinking "I can share a pickle with you as well. Maybe a pickle with Rias' mother if I'm super lucky."
Yumi shook her head "She not going to do that."
"Hey now don't get my hopes up."
"I'm going to get back to my group."
"Wait" He called out to her as she stood up. "Before you leave we need to keep up the appearances." Issei reached up and lifted Yumi's skirt and saw the hot pink panties. He gave her a thumbs up "Okay" Yumi was quick to leave with a slight blush on her face after that.
There was still plenty of time before they got to Kyoto as the bullet train while it traveled fast it could only go so fast for the distance it covered. So he closed his eyes for a while as he fell into a part of himself that he didn't have much need for anymore. 'It's been a while' He heard a feminine voice call out to him.
When he looked around he saw a long blonde hair, green eyes woman wearing a purple dress that showed off her breasts on all sides except her nipples. "Elsha it's been a while." He looked up at the woman. "So what brings you here?"
"I wanted to speak to Ddriag before its time."
"Time?" He asked her.
"Anyways Belzard and I saw the clips of your show Oppai Dragon. And we thought it was great. It's nice that one of the hosts in the world can have some fun with it. I can't exactly blame the whole idea of loving breasts."
"I think I got that from you."
Elsha shook her head hearing that "No that's from another blonde woman, and be honest you knew that." She held her hands up looking around at the white void. "Everyone here is gone, the curse of madness is lifted and it's our time to leave as well, time for a new evolution in life." She reached behind her and rustled her dress as she pulled something out wanting to hand it to him.
Issei held his hand out as she place it in his hand. When she pulled back the area glowed blue for a moment as the light faded and there was nothing there. She looked up "Ddraig, while Belzard and I were the strongest. We were eclipsed long ago. But don't hate the direction that fate has taken. Where we all are now is far better than we were long ago." She turned around as her dress twirled only to walk away waving her hand at him.
When she was gone he was snapped back to reality as he felt like he just got hit with a pallet of bricks and most of his energy was drained as he looked around. 'Ddraig what was that?' He asked as he was trying to catch his breath.
[I don't exactly know.]
'I'll have to talk to Azazel. I feel like crap tho.'
[I can see that much. Elisha isn't responding to me either.]
It didn't take long for them to arrive at the train station as they were all getting off the train and the chaos would ensue. The girls were more than happy as they looked around as they were in a giant station that was crowded with people. "Look" Asia pointed off at one of the nearby buildings that she could see.
"Yes, we need to go in there. I hear it has all of the latest fashion trends." Xenovia looked over at Issei "Maybe you can pick something out for us? Unfortunately, it's all women's clothes."
"There's a men's section in the back." Kiryuu said
"Ohhhhhhh" Asia's eyes were almost like glitter hearing that.
"We need to get out of here. Moving through this is going to be chaos."
Xenovia nodded hearing that as she pounded her fist into her hand "Yes just like a battlefield."
"Whatever you call it let's just get out of here." Kuryuu was quick to grab ahold of Asia as she lead the way through the crowd.
Once they broke through the sea of people and made it outside they saw the sights. Off to one side, they could see the Kyoto tower in the distance and even the hotel they were staying at. But that Hotel they were staying at Ironically called the Kyoto Serzechs Hotel was owned by the Gremory family. That factor helped as to why the students were able to get dirt cheap rooms. It also was the meeting point as they checked in everyone was being accounted for.
Motohama was looking around at the hotel trying to soak in the atmosphere "This seems a little fancy for a school trip."
"It's better you don't think about it. It would only make you wonder how the rooms are so cheap." Issei said to him.
Xenovia however was in another mindset "This place is nice but it is nowhere near Rias' house."
"Okay everyone," Rossweisse said getting their attention "If you need any items there's a 100 yen shop in the center of the shopping center down the street." Hearing that Issei could only shake his head. "If you spent your money like its water time will turn you into an unreliable person. The 100 yen shop is a treasure of this land." Her enthusiastic speech about money had Azazel and the other teachers facepalming.
While Rossweisse was accepted by the student body quite well but she was still awkward about how money was dealt with. One of the other teachers slotted in taking her spot "Anyways, Once your luggage is in your rooms you can do whatever you want till 5 tonight. But don't wander too far away, stick to this area and be back by 5:30"
Keys to the rooms were quickly handed out as Azazel handed him a key laughing at the idea. Wondering why Issei looked at the tag as it read 666 "It's almost like I'm dating a devil."
"I don't get it?" Matsuda asked.
"Room 666, I'm sleeping in it," Issei said showing the tag as they understood it.
As everyone went upstairs to deal with their stuff Rossweisse pulled Issei aside. "About your room. Rias prepared it so we could hold discussions."
He twirled the key around "I do hope the room looks good then."
"Yeah, your the odd one out here."
"Right" Issei headed up to his room once he got up the flights of stairs he got to his room and open the door. When he did he was greeted by a large room that was no normal eastern or western room but it was one of the high-end rooms that was spacious a room in a devil hotel fitting room 666.
It didn't take them long for them to find Issei and plan out their attack pattern for the day. "Wanna go to Fushimi Inari." Motohama asked Issei wondering if he was down for it.
"Isn't that the one with all the Torii gates and foxes?" Issei asked.
Motohama nodded "yep."
"Sounds fun but are the teachers going to let us?"
"We already got permission to go, and it's only one stop away." Matsuda surprised him as they were all ready to go.
"Well, then let's go get…"
"Already here!" Xenovia said interrupting him as she was with Irina Asia and Kiryuu.
"Well then" Issei pointed off in the distance "Let's get going."
Inari was only one stop away via bus and it had its own special stop on top of that. The stop led them down the entrance as it was lined with shops ready to sell a plethora of souvenirs. And that was all it took for the girls to go wide-eyed seeing them. Asia was in love with seeing the figures of foxes as Xenovia and Irina had to look around and see what was for sale.
"The best girls in the class surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of Kyoto." Matsuda took out his camera and started taking a photo of the girls.
"What about me?" Kiryuu asked feeling left out. Motohama only laughed at the thought of Kiryuu being one of the best girls in his mind.
Getting the girls gathered and prepared for the walk up the hillside that was to come. They started walking up the hill as Issei looked around and saw a few things that were out of place. "It seems as if we are being watched." Issei said to Xenovia as she was the closest to him.
"I can't say I'm surprised, we are devils, an angel, and a dragon. It would be in their best interest to keep an eye on the invaders in their land."
"Yes but this seems excessive." He looked around as he could see some figures moving in the shadows.
The climb up the hill took some time as it was less of a hill and more of a massive load of stairs carved into a hill. "What… is wrong with you. How do you have so much energy." Motohama looked like he was in pain from walking up the stairs.
Matsuda was the first one to make a joke at Motohama's expense "Even Asia is fine and you're having a tough time with some stairs.
In Asia's defense devils had a much easier time with everything. But the training plan of Azazel and Issei making them work their butts off made these stairs look like chump change. While they waited for Motohama to recover they looked down the hill as it stretched over the city. "This is a nice view."
"Yes, it is." Xenoiva and Asia said looking down into the city as it transferred from modern to ancient.
Kiryuu was taking pictures "You know schools in the area use this place as a training grounds for runners." She told them to try to be smart.
"Hey Xenovia" Issei called out as he got her to look at him. "You know they say The early bird gets the worm, and the early fox gets the bird." He said as he ran up the stairs at a human pace until he was far enough away from them and then kicked up the speed.
Running to the top it was covered in shade from the trees as spaned over the red archways. But once he got to the top of the shrine area it was dead quiet and nobody around. He clapped his hands together "Well now, don't you think we should end this charade?"
He quickly looked around as he saw he was surrounded by shrine maidens wearing fox masks and humanoid creatures with black wings and crow-like masks on. "You are not from here." He heard a voice.
"That's generally how traveling works."
Out from the large crowd of people, a small girl in a shrine maiden outfit appeared as she had little ears on the top of her head along with a mass of fuzzy tails behind her. "How dare you attack us." The little girl looked pissed as she was gritting her teeth at him.
"I'm sorry what? I've only been in Kyoto proper for about 2 hours now." His words didn't matter as he was soon crowded by the tengu and maidens as they swung swords and fists at him. Dodging was relatively easy for him as they were skills but nowhere near enough that was needed.
"Give me back my mother!" The little girl shouted at him.
"I JUST GOT HERE!" He shouted back at the girl as a tengu got behind him and swung his staff at his head trying to knock him out. Issei reached up and grabbed the staff and shattered it.
"Issei what's going on?" Xenovia said as she saw that he was surrounded.
"Wait these all Youkai?" Irina asked seeing the bird people.
They came in with wooden swords to defend themselves as Asia was behind them.
"All of you are the ones who... My mother. Unforgivable heathen devils. You taint this sacred place."
"Right…." Issei sighed at that "Girls beat the crap out of them but keep them alive. We can figure out what this is all about later." He grabbed the closest tengu by his shirt and threw him into the air.
"Understood" they said in unison as they joined in the furball swinging the wooden swords around.
Without causing too much damage injured people were starting to pile up as the power gap between the girls and the strongest of them was miles between them. Issei tossed people around as if he did anything else they might be seriously injured. It was better off that Irina and Xenovia did the hard work as bruises from the wooden swords were preferred.
The little girl raised her hand as they started falling back to her position "Retreat!" They started gathering the injured up "We don't have enough people for this. I'll come back with more and make you give back my mother." The trees swayed in the wind as the attackers disappeared leaving the four of them all alone.
"What was that all about?" Xenovia asked
Issei could only shrug his shoulders "You know as much as I do." He said as he pulled out his phone and scrolled into the contacts. It rang and rang until it picked up. "We have a problem." That was all Issei said as there were going to be questions everywhere. Issei looked at the others "Let's make this quick and get the rest of this done so the others are none the wiser. There was a collective nod as there was no need to drag the other three into this world.
Over dinner, the four of them talked with Azazel and Rossweiss and explained what happened earlier in the day. "Why were we attacked in the first place?"
Azazel didn't have much of an answer to that "After this I'll have to make some calls and see if we are still welcomed in Kyoto. We were before we left but things can change in this world. Whatever happens, just be patient during this trip. I'll have some of my subordinates look into the outlining issues as well."
"Also let's agree Rias doesn't need to hear about this." He looked at the two adults.
"Most definitely, If we told her anything she would most likely freak out, and that alone is the one thing we do not need now." Azazel couldn't agree more with him but for now, food was more important.
For others, it was what came after the food. Issei had met up with the other two idiots as they confirmed the plans for tomorrow and for what else was to come tonight. They were going to go peak on the girls as they were in the large bath. Issei however had other ideas on how to go about getting the same results. Back in his room, Issei carried around his jet black cloak with him for a reason. Sneaking around a city not wanting to be seen was always useful when on a mission. Fortunately, his windows opened up so he could get outside without having to use the stairwell. It was easily the easiest place to defend let alone the best access point.
Not being able to be seen for the most part helped as he climbed out the window and crawled along the wall making massive leaps and strides to get up to the roof. When he launched himself onto the roof he saw someone standing there waiting for him. "Hello" Issei called out seeing the red tracksuit wearing Rossweisse.
"Did you think that we couldn't figure out what you were going to do tonight?" She asked him.
"Honestly It was obvious. But I'm not dumb enough to go through the front door. Unlike the other two who are probably getting their asses kicked right about now. Say whos doing the ass-kicking? The Sitri Girls?"
"Along with Saji as well to protect them."
Issei smiled hearing that "You know I've seen the kendo girls naked so I bet they would have invited me in. So show me that resolve to protect them." He lowered his center of gravity and launched toward her throwing a relatively weak punch at her.
She was quick to deflect his attacks "Your attacks are strong, this is no doubt from your perversion. It's quite ridiculous that you would go to such lengths."
"Is it really?" He asked as she could deflect his attacks with the help of magic.
"How are you not satisfied with Rias' and Akeno's bodies? You get to have them every day and yet you do this."
He chuckled at that as his cloak blocked some of her vision for a second as he repositioned "Yes but you see they are not here, something needs to fill the void. And I don't know about you but masturbation isn't always that fun." That's when he thought of it. "Maybe you should try it sometime, help you lose yourself."
"How could you say that?"
"What?" He laughed at her embarrassment "It's natural everyone does it, well except for Angels, but asides from them it's natural. If you want we can forget this happened and go to my room and I can help you out with that?"
"You are a perverted playboy dragon."
Issei was shocked to hear that "Me a playboy? Those girls like to play with fire more than I do. And I wield some of the hottest flames around." Seeing that he was backing her up into a wall he was going to make a final strike at her "If you don't cut loose you are going to live up to Odin's words, a virgin who could never score a boyfriend."
She stopped everything as her mood dumpster "I wanna do erotic things with a man who has a promising future." The crying started as soon as that happened. "I won't forgive you for that."
Issei only sighed hearing that from her as he open-palmed hit her in the abdomen as she started to glow. Her clothes ripped to shreds as Issei got to see what was underneath that rough exterior she put up. The crying only got worse as Issei held up part of the bra she had on as she covered herself up. Of course, it was part of her bra and he was going to play with it but what he felt was not so pleasant. "How do you wear this thing?" He looked down at her "No seriously this thing is garbage."
"You don't understand, that tracksuit was on sale for less than a thousand yen. And now it would be almost three times the price to replace it. Not to mention that was a matching bra and panties that I got a great deal on as well." She was angrier that her clothes were ripped than the fact that she was nude trying to cover herself. "Now I can't get married anymore."
"Ah, so you noticed I saw it all. Nice to know you shave it all off, big fan of that."
"That's not the point! You ruined my clothes, that's a waste of fabric. I bet you use plenty of tissues as well contributing to that."
"Alright look" He stopped her before she could rant even further as he pulled the ruined panties up feeling how bad they were as well. The fabric all around was quickly burned to a crisp as he tossed his cape at her to cover her up. "Go get dressed, and I'll take you down into a department store and get you a few NICE" he had to emphasize that part "Sets of underwear. If you're going to wear something and least make your privates are well clothed."
There was a knock on the door as they looked over and saw Azazel shaking his head "If you two are done we have some work to do."
"What now?" Issei asked as he tried to cover Rossweisse up a bit more. "Can't you see I'm trying to hit on her, she's quite clueless."
"We have been summoned to a restaurant nearby."
"By who?"
Azazel only smiled "A wand twirling magical girl."
"Great." Issei held his hand out behind him "I guess that clothes shopping will have to wait." He told her as he felt her hand grab onto his.
After everyone was told about the summons they got dressed and slipped out of the hotel and made their way down the street to a high-end restaurant. When they walked in the staff guided them to a segmented room in the back for parties. When the door opened they saw Serafall sitting at the head of the table wearing one of her many colorful Kimonos as her hair was all done up instead of her twin tails. "Ah Issei" She smiled at him "And Rias' servants it's been a while."
"Oh, it's Issei." Saji called out as sitting next to him were Momo and Ruruko as the other girls were scattered around as well.
"I see you beat us here." Issei asked as they took a seat at the remaining spots. "So how was your day, because mine was a blast."
"Were on the student Council, so we spent the whole afternoon helping the teachers." Saji sighed as he had to work on a trip meant for them.
"Lammmmmmeeeeeee"
"Eat up the food here is really tasty." Serafall said as she ordered more food for everyone.
She wasn't wrong as they dug in and it was good-tasting food. They watched Issei inhaling the food. "Did you not get enough at dinner?" Rossweisse asked seeing him pig out.
"Dragons can eat large volumes of food with ease."
"Yeah I rarely fill up, I more or less eat enough to operate. It's one of those things that I got used to."
Saji heard that and after recent developments, he had some questions "Is that going to be a problem for me?"
"Only if you turn your body into a dragon." He looked over to Serafall "So Sera why are you here?"
A few reasons "First I was here to secure the cooperation of the Kyoto Youkai forces. But it seems a situation has arisen as of late."
"Such as?"
"According to reports from the Kyoto youkai faction, Yasaka the Kyuubi leader has been missing for the last few days."
Issei stopped and looked at the others who were there as they nodded "Yeah so does she have a daughter? Because there was a little fox girl with nine tails who tried to attack us earlier."
Serafall nodded "Unfortunately she does, and from the report, I received from Azazel everything seems to line up."
"It seems as.." Azazel paused as he downed whatever alcohol he was drinking at the time "If the Khaos Brigade is up to something."
Issei could see Saji's eye twitching at that alone "Just what did you get into now?"
"We did nothing." Issei was quick to defend their actions from earlier. "They attacked me and we defended ourselves."
"This trip is already a pain in the ass." Azazel said as Serafall was filling up his glass.
"It matters not, this situation must be solved. And doing so will get up a leg up in the ability to negotiate with Kyoto."
"So what do we do then?" Murayama asked wondering what could be done.
"You do nothing. Enjoy your trip" Azazel was rubbing his head as he said that. "If anything happens we will call you if needed."
"Yes yes" Serafall said with a smile "Enjoy your time here and I will have fun as well."
Early the following morning they were on top of the roof having a small training session as they could only do so much. Issei and Asia were working together as he was assisting her in building up her reflexes so she could dodge close-range attacks and she was learning how to use her magical abilities to use them in unison with her newfound reflexes.
He was making her work there was no half-assing it in this world. The thing was she was going to need a shower at this point. "Thank you for helping me Issei."
"Think nothing of it. This is something that needs to happen and now is as good of a time to do it."
Asia knew that all he needed was a smile. "I told you a training partner would help." Yumi told Xenovia as the two of them were swinging around wooden swords as they were sparing. "Here" She held her hand out as a short sword appeared in the style of her balance breaker. "This is much better than the wooden sword in case anything happens."
Xenovia looked at them as she swung it around "Yes this short sword will be easy to conceal in a bag."
"Only use it if you get into a fight that needs it." Yumi said as she stepped back getting ready for the next round "We still have time for another round before we have to get ready."
After some school stuff needed to be done, they were on their way through the day. With a bus pass in hand, their first stop for the day was off to Kiyomizu Dera. A Buddhist temple up on a hill that looked down on the city. When they arrived they had to start the trek up the hill. "You know they call this the Three-year slope." Kiryuu said to them with a smile on her face. "If you fall here you die in three years."
Asia was quick to latch onto Issei as if she believed in the legend. But Xenovia was another story as she thought about it for a moment while grabbing onto Issei's other hand. "Seriously? You as well?" He looked over at her.
"The Japanese has some scary spells." He didn't know if her naive social aspect was a turn-on or if she was just messing with him. But was he going to complain he had two girls holding onto him for support as they walked up the hill as they got to the entrance gates. "It looks as if the temple gathers the pagans."
Issei sighed hearing that, there was no way to correct her. "Yes, the place looks amazing for its history." Asia was the only level-headed one of the three church girls.
"Cheers to pagens." Irina said as two hands came down upon Irina and Xenovia's heads with a swift Karate chop.
"You're the pagans here. Christianity isn't as large in Japan as you think it is." The two of them got some looks as they rubbed their heads.
Kiryuu looked toward "It's okay Asia, those who fall are saved from the curse." That reassured Asia as for their ascent up the stairs to the temple's location. When they got up to the top there was a smile area off to the side that had an offering box. "So Hyoudou why don't you try the love compatibility with Asia?"
"Why?" Issei asked Kiryuu
"Oh, you know why." She had that evil grin on her face.
"No, I already know that it's 100%."
"Hey! That's not fair." Matsuda shouted as the percentage didn't give him a chance.
Asia walked over to the offering box and dropped in a coin as she pulled a tag. She read it off as "Highly favorable and auspicious." She looked to Issei "What does auspicious mean?"
"Favourable" Issei said as relief washed over her.
"Hey look" Xenovia said as she and Irina did the same thing "Mine says the same thing." Irina nodded in agreement as she was happier than all get out.
"Were going to be left behind." Motohama cried as their luck was only going to be worse and worse as time went on."
Kiryuu laughed at their misfortune. "We can hit up the gift shop then off to the Ginkaku-Ji the silver Pavilion next."
"It's 10 already." Irina said as she saw her watch as they were quick to make their way down and buy what they wanted.
Time was always going to be a constraint as the bus was their main mode of transportation. But as they rode across town they made it north of Kiyomizu-Dera arriving at the Silver Temple. "Wait it's not silver?" Xenovia asked as she laid her eyes on it somewhat disappointed at the sight.
"Xenovia kept telling herself that the temple was made of silver and Kinkaku was made of gold." Asia informed everyone of Xenovia's disappointment as she hugged her in the time of disappointment.
"Rumor goes the Monk Ashikaga who was the head of the project to build the temple wanted to make it silver. But nobody knows why it's not that, some think it's because he died others because the Government in that time period were strapped for cash due to the wars. But it's not silver only in name." Issei was surprised at Kiryuu as she was doing well as their little tour guide and quite knowledgeable.
However, after they had the trip around the silver temple and some lunch they made it to the sister temple Kinkaku-Ji the golden temple. This sent Xenovia into a frenzy "It's gold." She said as her eyes were as wide as they could get and also as if she was going to cry from the sight. "It's really gold this time."
Xenovia's excitement wasn't overshadowed by everyone else as they were happy to see something as nice as this on the trip. Photos were taken and passed around and Issei decided it was a good time to pass them off to the others back at hope. It was still nice to see a new side to Xenovia as she was more of a child of amazement rather than a warrior for once. As they toured the temple Issei's phone went off and he answered it "Hello"
"Hey, Issei about those photos." It was Akeno of all people calling him. "Koneko has some concerns."
"Oh?
"Yeah, it's about those photos you just sent over."
"What about them?" He didn't know what was wrong with the photos the others took.
"In the background, there's a few fox youkai that Koneko spotted. Is anything going on? Because fox youkai are far from rare in Kyoto."
Issei knew where this was going and he had to make a lie up on the spot. "I was told they were quite common around the temples due to the vicinity of the Yasaka shrine. Did you not see many of them here?" He felt a tug on his shirt as it was Asia. "Listen I got to go we need to make our stops. Maybe we can talk later?"
"Call us if anything happens."
"Gotcha," He said as he hung up and looked down at Asia "Good timing."
"The teahouse." She said as if something wasn't right.
Issei walked into the teahouse where the others were as he say that Matsuda Motohama and Kiryuu were asleep on the floor. It was only the people aware of the supernatural who were awake. Xenovia had already drawn her sword from Asia's bag as they were on Alert. "You know I'm fine if you attack me, but I have no problem killing you if there's anything wrong with my friends." Xeonvia was glaring at the waitress as they could see animal ears and a bushy tail from behind her. Issei walked towards the woman as he was going to grab her as she had nothing to say only a pressure bearing down on her.
"Wait." The door opened once again as they heard a familiar voice. They looked and saw Rossweisse.
"So why are you here?" Issei asked her.
She was catching her breath. "Azazel sent me here to welcome you guys. A ceasefire has been called. The Kyuubi's daughter wishes to apologize for what happened."
Issei pulled his hand back as the woman bowed her head "I serve the monarch Kyuubi and wish to apologize for what happened. Our princess is at the inner capital where the Maou and Fallen Angel Governor are there. As for you Red Dragon, the princess is not aware of the marking of the Shinto ruler and I believe that is part of the reason why she attacked you directly."
