Matsuda and Motohama were fuming at the sight of Asia hugging Issei. "Why him?" "We're going to look like fools at this rate."
"You do know the lovers this is superstition right?" Kunou said but it didn't matter to Asia as she was naive to things of that nature.
Crossing the bridge took a bit as it was filled with tourists but as they crossed to the other side something was off. The sky changed from the normally blue sky with clouds in the air to a purple haze as something was clearly wrong. Looking around he saw that Matsuda Motohama and Kiryuu were missing and everyone else was with him. "Okay, any ideas?" Issei asked looking at the girls.
"It seems as if you are in here as well." They heard Yumi as she came toward them.
"Yeah apparently so."
"Hey" They heard from above as they saw Azazel land in front of them. "Your all okay?"
"Seems so." Issei said as Azazel retracted his wings.
Yumi however was looking at the surrounds "It's a perfect copy."
"Yes, it seems that we were forcefully transferred to this dimension and possibly sealed in it. And from the looks of it, everything is an exact replica of the area, so this has to be the work of Dimension Lost."
"Is this like the dimension that devils use for the Rating games?" Xenovia asked him.
"Looks like it, the technique for it was most likely leaked. It looks like Dimension lost can transfer anything to whatever it wraps around. But to be able to transfer me and all of you at the same time is a terrifying thought."
"The guard… he walked about a mist before he died." Kunou's voice trembled to bring it up.
"Well, the normal rules should apply then. Kill the caster or use something strong enough to shatter the barrier." Issei looked at Azazel "We should be able to do the latter."
"Good day, Governor-General Azazel and Red Dragon Emperor." They heard a male voice and saw it come down the bridge towards them. He was wearing something that looked like a split between a school uniform and something that came right from the early portions of Chinese history. The thing that was off the spear he was holding onto.
"I take it your from the rumored Hero faction?" Azazel stood in front of them as he asked the black-haired man.
"I am Cao Cao descendant of the famous Cao Cao recorded in the Three Kingdom." Behind him appeared a few other people.
"Holy shit is that what I think it is?" Issei asked looking further at the spear in question.
"Whatever you do, don't let that spear touch you. That is the true Longinus the most powerful Longinus said to be able to pierce gods. It's been a long time since I've seen it in person ."
"That's the holy spear…" Irina was in awe of it.
"I've heard about it since I was a child. The spear that pierced Jesus and it carries its blood. The spear that pierced the body of God." Xenovia said quietly as she was finally able to lay eyes upon the weapon so talked over.
Azazel was quick to cover Asia's eyes "Don't stare at it. Those of faith have issues when it comes to Holy Relics."
"You boy" Kunou started yelling at him as she got closer to him "I have questions for you."
Issei was quick to grab her by the back of her shirt and pull her back "The little princess, what is your problem?"
"Are you the ones who took my mother?" She asked as she tried breaking free of Issei's grip.
"That is correct." Cao Cao said to her with no hesitation. It saved them the time of having to do work and finding out who took her.
"What are you doing with her?"
"Just some simple experiments on behalf of our benefactor."
Kunou was mad hearing that but there wasn't much she could do at this point. "Benefactor?" Azazel asked "Is it Ophis? And better yet why show yourselves to us?"
"Well now, no need to keep it hidden anymore now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag. We decided that we wanted to say hello before the experiment. However, I wanted to meet the Governor-General and the Red Dragon Emperor. "
Azazel formed a spear of light in his right hand "Please return the Kyuubi. We are trying to join forces with the Youkai here."
He was buying some time for everyone to get ready when a blade appeared in Issei's hand as he tossed it over to Xenovia. "Thanks for Ascalon." She said as she was not ready to fight so soon.
Yumi and Irina made swords as well getting ready to fight. "Where's Rossweisse?" Issei asked not speaking too loud for them to hear.
"She came with us but she should be asleep still in the restaurant. Being a lightweight right now was not the best of ideas."
"Leonardo" A young boy with little no expression on his face came out from behind Cao Cao. "You should be able to handle the devils with your monsters."
The boy only nodded as he stuck his hands out and shadows formed underneath him. It soon grew outwards covering most of the bridge. Out of the floor creatures of all sizes draped in black clawed their way out from the shadows. They snarled at them as they looked hungry for blood along with making odd sounds, they were no know creatures of the world only something from the imagination of another. "Annihilation Maker.
Cao Cao laughed hearing that "Very Correct Governor. This child carries a Longinus that is a much different threat than my spear."
"I am well aware of what Annihilation Maker, True Longinus, and even the Dimension Lost are capable of. I also know that your abilities are well above what they should be for your age." Azazel was far from enthused seeing three Longinus users are the enemy.
"So you take Cao Cao and we handle the rest?" Issei asked him.
"Yeah, Target the user directly, that's the best way to take down Annihilation Maker and Dimension Lost. They can most likely take some punishment with their level of skill."
Cao Cao pointed his finger at one of the buildings as one of the monsters opened its mouth and a large beam of light shot out destroying the building. As the wind and dust swept over them Azazel was only getting angrier "You sent assassins to all the major factions to collect data for these monsters."
"Antimonsters but yes you are correct. Everything we sent after them was prime data for the young one here. Even if they were all destroyed it showed us more than you could have expected."
"Hey so, if you kill him I want the lance. Gabby would love it if I were to get my hands on it rather than this band of psychos."
"It's fine we still have some time." Azazel said to Issei.
"Oh?" Cao Cao was intrigued by this deduction by Azazel. "And what makes you think that?"
"Simple, if you could have killed a god with those monsters you would have done it already. That or you don't have the resources needed to do it."
Cao Cao smiled at that "If a god is going to be slain then it will be by my spear." The spear rolled off his shoulder as he pointed it to Azazel "The battle begins now."
The horde of monsters charged forward as the bridge shook. "Yumi can you make me a holy sword please?"
"Right." She held her hand out for a while and a silver blade appeared "Dual wielding is more your style."
A little red line of energy flew into the horde of monsters as it vaporized ahead and exploded. "Yumi Xenovia go in and start cutting them up, I can handle the many stragglers."
"Right," They both said as they lept into the fray as a few beams of light were fired at them as started slashing away at anything in front of them. When Xenovia swung her swords around large swaths of monsters disappeared. Her raw destructive power was impressive nonetheless as the two worked in tandem Yumi was picking off enemies as they got close and deflecting the light beams.
"We should be fine but any more light could be dangerous." Yumi said to Xenovia.
"Then we just kill them all its that easy."
"Your starting to sound like Issei." Yumi could only shake her head at the thought that she was never going to break Xenovia of her habits.
Azazel however reached into the pocket of his coat and pulled out a golden scepter. "So Cao Cao do you want to be defeated by me?" His twelve wings shot out from his back as he rushed at Cao Cao.
Cao Cao dodged the first attack as he jumped out into the river landing on a rock. Tappin the spear on the ground it radiated a golden aura "It would be an honor to fight against someone recorded in the Bible." The two of them went for it as their spears started clashing with each other.
"Right well Azazel has that dealt with." He looked around seeing that was coming. "Yumi can you make a sword that eats light?"
She had just cut off one of the enemy heads as it disappeared "Light? Oh, I see" She stomped on the floor as blades came out "Everyone grab one, any form of light deflection is better than none." He looked over at Irina as the two of them "Get in there, your resistance to light will help."
"I'm not immune to it." She said to him as she flapped her white pairs of wings and skirted off to the battle.
"Oh, I know just watch out." He said as the three of them were fighting in the melee.
Issei started to glow red as his clothes waved like a flag in the wind [WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER!] Donning his armor he held his hands out and focused energy on them as he fired off two orbs of red energy into the sky. They hovered in the air for a moment as they started to break apart into smaller orbs and fall to the ground. Cluster munitions were deadly in the real world and no different for the supernatural as they laid siege to the creatures destroying large portions of the backline.
"We can deal with him." They heard as out from the smoke appeared three girls with swords in hand as they rushed at Issei.
"Don't do that!" They heard a man from the back shout with white hair.
Seeing as the three girls come toward him Issei laughed as they got closer. All three lept in the air as if they were going to come down on him with the swords. "Oh come on, your just normal girls." He open-palmed the air as a shockwave rippled through the air. It shredded their clothes and cracked their swords as they fell to the ground screaming covering themselves up. "Seriously what did you expect was going to happen?"
"That's evil" Kunou said as Issei could feel her eyes peering into his back.
"Oh, it could be much worse. I could have spoken to her breasts or maybe used magic to strip them of their clothes. A shockwave is quite tame. I'm still wondering why they would bother attacking me." Issei could feel the girls staring at him in disgust for what he had just done. "What? Don't try and attack me and then complain when your weakness got used against you this is your fault."
"The Red Dragon is as dangerous as the rumors say he is then." The white-haired man said as he stepped forward from the group and looked at Issei. "Yes, you are extremely dangerous. No different than Vali yet worse."
"Awwwww" Issei played along, "I think they like me."
"Pleasure to meet you servants of Gremory. My name is Sigfried, a descendant of the Hero Siegfried. My compatriots call me Sieg so call me what you please." The white-haired man introduced himself as he brushed his coat aside revealing a few swords.
Xenovia stopped everything upon hearing that "I knew you looked familiar so it is true then."
Irina nodded knowing full well what Xenovia was referring to "Yes the demonic swords on his waist is the giveaway."
"Hey, Yumi does this guy look familiar?" Issei asked as getting a good look at the man something just reminded him of somebody.
"The psycho?" Was the first thing that came to mind
"This man here is a former colleague of ours. He was a top warrior in the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox Churches dubbed the Demonic Emperor Sig. He has the same white hair as Freed as they are from the same organization most likely the side effects of an experiment."
"Ohhhhh Freed that makes perfect sense. Wait…" Issei stopped at that "Rewind that one back The church is experimenting on people again? We saw how this went last time and it looks like we're two for two at this rate."
"Sig!" Irina shouted at him "You betrayed the church and Heaven"
He smiled at that "Sure let's call it that. I belong to the Khaos Brigade now, much more fun here."
"Betrayal leads to eternal damnation." Irina tried to talk to him.
Siegfried only laughed at that "My ears are going to hurt more than that. Also, who cares? The church has plenty of strong warriors. The loss of myself and Durandal can be made up for. And then of all, that guy made himself a joker of all things."
"Was it the hungry Italian, if so he ain't human, to begin with."
Siegfried nodded at that "Anyways that's been too much talking. You all look like you can carry a sword well. Xenovia of Durandal, Irina Shidou Ace of Michael and Yumi Yuuto of the Holy Demonic Sword." Yumi was the first to take him up on that as she charged at him. With a swipe of her blade, she aimed for the head trying to lop it off in one swing. Her sword was stopped by a large red blade with golden highlights that gave off an unpleasant feeling of being near it. "Demonic Emperor Sword Gram." He told her "The Strongest Demonic sword, and with a strike like that it was nothing."
Issei was interested in this as Yumi was looking as if she was no match for Siegfried. She was just far too slow as everything she tried was deflected with relative ease. Every move she made had to be calculated by giving her enough time to dodge and even then it took everything from her to dodge. Off in the distance, they could hear one of the other Hero Factions members speaking "She is no match for Siegfried when he can go toe to toe with Arthur."
"Ooooh" Issei's face squished together hearing that.
Xenovia ran into the fight as she saw that Yumi was having issues with it. "You can't win this alone." Irina was quick to follow up as well as the three of them started attacking Seig.
Sparks were flying as colors were blurring from the speed they were moving at. "What's going on over there?" Asia asked as she wasn't able to see everything that was happening.
"Uhhh they're losing badly." Issei said to her as they heard metal shatter as fragments flew everywhere.
"Balmung The demonic sword of Norse Legend." Seig said as his other hand had a large purple and silver sword. Out from his back sprouted a large silver arm as it held up a large blue blade that looked like a comical pizza slice with a stick on it. "Nothung" He swung the blades around sending the girls flying around. "You know this is a handy dragon arm. From the twice critical of all things. But I got a subspecies that gave me a dragon arm."
"Yeah, but I have the original." Issei waved his left hand around "Let me guess your balance breaker gives you three more arms."
"Maybe who knows."
"Great." Issei complained as he was more than enough to overpower the three swordswomen and still didn't use his balance breaker. Looking around Azazel was having his fair share of the fun as he was throwing around the largest light spears at Cao Cao he could. The bridge would shake as the buildings around the area were vaporized and turned into a wasteland of broke pipes and concrete.
Cao Cao however was far from injured but his clothes were ripped where he would need a new outfit. "Well, this has been fun. The Gremory servants have been the most interesting of the group. But I must say that I'm surprised that the most interesting of everyone where has none the least here." He pointed the spear at Issei "Unlike the Old Maou faction we will not be making the same mistakes. YOu are the most dangerous person here and you will be eliminated."
"Oh really?" Issei laughed at Cao Cao's threat.
"And just what is your goal with all of this?" Azazel asked him.
"Just a test to see how us frail humans can go."
There was a clap that was heard from above them as a little golden light shot out from an amber magic circle that spawned on the floor. As the light faded away as they saw a girl wearing a school uniform not from Japan but Europe somewhere with a large hat and a cape. With curly blonde hair that stuck out from her large hat was not the oddest of things but the fact that she was sitting on a broomstick of all things. She looked at Issei and company and smiled at them "Good Afternoon everyone, I am Le Fay Pendragon mage of the Vali team."
"Pendragon?" Azazel was skeptical of the girl "And just who is Arthur to you?"
"Arthur is my older brother. He's such a nice person." Her bubbly personality was far from her brother's outlook.
"Morgana Le Fay and Arthur Pendragon were said to be blood-related." Azazel was scratching his head at that.
Her eyes lit up like stars in the sky as she saw something behind Azazel. Her broom zipped past Azazel and stopped in front of Issei. "I am such a big fan of Oppai Dragon. Can I shake your hand?"
It was weird seeing something like this in the middle of a battle as nobody wanted to do something about it. He stuck his hand out as she grabbed it smiling and swinging her feet back and forth "Thanks?" Issei didn't know where to go with this but she was happy so it was fine?
Cao Cao however was over this special that was happening "And what does Vali's side want with this operation?"
Le Fay was quick to turn around "Oh I come to bring a message." Her voice changed to a deeper voice like she was trying to imitate Vali "I thought I told you not to disturb me" She smiled at Cao Cao as she pointed her finger up the sky "You need to be punished for trying to put us under surveillance as well." Her finger flicked down to the ground as the immediate area got dark and the area shook.
Out of the water, a massive creature rose up as everyone was having a hard time standing from how bad it was shaking. Asia and Kunou were holding onto each other as they had already fallen over. The giant creature cried out as it towered over them making skyscrapers look tiny.
"Gogmagog!" Azazel shouted seeing the creature.
"What the hell does the welsh have to do with all this." Issei asked as something like this was new to him.
"This is one of our strongest members, Gogmagog but I call him Gogz." Of course, she was nicknamed a creature like that.
"Giant Gargoyle-like creatures that were cast into the dimensional gap. The ancient gods of old created them but they should have been deactivated long ago."
"Oh great, now we're dealing with creatures from before your time." That wasn't exactly the problem at this point.
Azazel however was lost in amazement "It's been so long since I've seen one move. I have so many questions about it. Mainly how you got it to move, but I'm even more surprised that you found one. "Oh, that's what Vali was looking for not Great Red."
"Yes yes, Vali found Gogz and Ophis said that she once encountered one and said that it could move. So we searched around." She told Azazel as the Gogmagog swiped its arms around destroying most of the bridge and taking out all of the monsters Annhilition maker summoned.
Cao Cao only laughed at that "So it seems as if Vali found out about our surveillance." He pointed his spear at the golem "Extend" The spear rapidly grew in length and struck the golem piercing its shoulder. The impact caused the creature to topple over as the spear retracted.
As the golem crashed into the ground they could see a figure appear near the shoreline as it stumbled around towards them. "HEY!" It was a feminine voice of all things "Sho noissssssy WHY! Sleep…" It was Rossweisse of all things as her words were slurred to hell and back but drunk and pissed off from the sounds of it.
The hero faction was at a pass as they didn't know what to do to attack her or let her be as she was just a drunk person stumbling around. But she looked over at Cao Cao "What'sh up? Yousa wanna fight? I show you power" He threw her hands up as the sky was filled with a rainbow of magic circles that created a dome around the bridge blocking most of the area. "Eat Norsh magic." It soon turned from a rainbow sky to rainbow death as it look like laser beams raining down on Cao Cao's group kicking up massive amounts of the ground some of it chunks most of it dirt.
There were explosions of sorts as it pushed the dust away showing that they were surrounded by the mist as the caster was protecting them. Cao Cao smiled seeing that "Well now it seems we have had far too many interruptions. However, it was a fun pre-game warm-up. Tonight we will be using the Kyoto Leylines and the Kyuubi for our Experiment at Nijou Castle. Come participate in our experiment it will be lovely." Cao Cao said as the mist thickened and they disappeared.
Azazel looked around seeing that the zone was collapsing. "Put your weapons away! We're returning to normal space!"
Weapons were quickly hidden and Issei dropped his armor as the purple sky faded to the grand blue sky and the bridge was restored to its normal condition. Motohama and Matsuda were looking at Issei "Hey you okay, you look kinda serious face right now?"
Issei blinked at it "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to motorboat a goddess? Like an actual deity? Would she have A cups or monster DD or maybe E cups?" He had to throw something out there that the pervs would take hold of, not like they would believe that they were just fighting in an alternate dimension. They still had plenty of time to go to Togetsukyou and Nijou Castle as it was on their list but not til they got to scope out the real thing.
