Chapter 2
NIGHTTIME
He felt strange...his body felt stiff and cold. Why was that? Wasn't he dead? He remembered getting stabbed and bleeding out, so why could he still feel his limbs? Wait...he couldn't feel his heart beating, instead, he felt a strange vibration.
He also felt heavy, his magic moved around him like normal but it felt...content? Why? Blake grunts as he felt his fingers twitch as he started to hear voices around him.
"They're waking up," A female voice said loudly making Blake wince a bit.
"Keep ya voice down lassie, their hearing is gonna be a bit off," A male voice said, sounding like a pirate Blake heard in a movie once.
"Shush, both of you," Another baritone male voice said as Blake managed to get his eyes to open.
He gasped and jumped a bit when he saw four animatronics in front of him, Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and Chica. They looked like they had been cleaned top to bottom, they were looking at him in concern.
"Blake? Are you awake?" Bonnie asked looking hesitant and worried only to relax when Blake nods.
"I-I'm fine, why am I alive? I-I thought I died," Blake asked as he glanced down at himself only to feel shocked when he saw the Spring Bonnie suit instead of his body.
He was currently torn between curiosity, slight panic, and amazement. But he had to stay calm to find out what happened and how they became like this.
He lifted his hands, they felt a bit heavy as he looked at them. He flexed his fingers, there was no flesh under the suit hands. In fact, it felt like the suit hands were his own hands, he clenched them into fists as he looks up. He glanced to the side as he saw the spring lock Fredbear groan and wake up, his muffled voice let Blake know it was Felix.
"Y-you did but Marion did something that bound our souls to the suits," Jeremy or Bonnie said as the Puppet floats over to them.
"Puppet?" Felix asked as he looks up.
"I am the Marionette or Puppet and Marion for short," Marion said as she glanced over to the side, the golden Freddy suit with Cassidy inside had yet to move but she could feel the rage inside the suit, looks like she was dormant for now.
"I see, I can sense the magic in you," Blake said as he carefully moved and tried to stand up.
Chica and Bonnie move to help him up on shaky legs, he nods in thanks as he got his balance in check.
"Magic? That would explain many things, but yes my 'magic' attached your souls to the suits but even I don't fully understand how it happened," Marion explains as she tilts her head.
"Magic works in strange ways, ugh," Felix said as he got up with help from Freddy.
"Wait, magic be real laddie?" Foxy asked looking a bit excited.
"Yes, magic is kept hidden to avoid witch hunts from kicking back up, hang on," Blake said as he raised his arm and focused on his magic.
He hums as he managed to make a ball of light, looks like he had to retrain his magic with how sluggish it felt.
"Whoa," Chica said amazed as the light fades away and Blake lowers his arm.
"Why did you do this?" Felix asked as he looks at the puppet who looked at the floor a feeling of sadness to her.
"The man who killed you, William Afton, he killed me as well, I couldn't save you in time but the least I can do is help your souls get revenge on him," Marion said as she looks up.
"He deserves it after what he did," Chica said looking upset as Freddy nodded.
"Aye! I'll rip him apart with me hook!" Foxy said with a growl showing Fritz hasn't lost his energy at least.
"I'll hold him down for ya," Bonnie said as Blake and Felix shared a look.
While it was a bit disturbing to listen to the children they met not long ago talk about torturing a guy to death the two were not really that surprised, a soul that goes through intense trauma changes and grows. They could feel a slight change in themselves but due to being older and having magic, lowered the effects, still, getting revenge sounded good but they would help get revenge for the children first.
"We will help where we can, just calm yourselves okay," Felix said as he crossed his arms.
"Yes, getting worked up now won't help anyone," Marion said making the four animatronics calm down a bit.
"So, how long have we been sleeping?" Blake asked as he moves to lean on the wall.
"A week, I watched police come and go, your bodies were taken away and the employees spent 3 days cleaning each of you of blood and...other things," Marion said as she remembers the hassle.
"We woke up two days ago, it was...something," Freddy said as he reached up to tug at his top hat.
"The building is slowly coming out of its lockdown, we'll have to start acting like the bots soon," Bonnie said looking on edge about that.
"Ugh, we're spring locks, it's gonna feel weird to have people inside me," Felix said holding his chest making Blake groan.
"Thanks for reminding me Felix," Blake said covering his eyes with a groan making Foxy chuckle.
"Wait, we should start using Fredbear and Spring Bonnie as our new names, it will be strange otherwise and freak people out if I suddenly turn to you and yell 'hey Blake!' from across the room," Felix or rather Fredbear said he had a point making Blake sigh and nods.
"I understand we can still use our names between us though, um, where is the second girl? I saw her when we burst in here," Blake or Spring Bonnie asked looking around.
"She is staying dormant, she's full of anger and rage, it's best she stay sleeping for now," Marion said as she points at the golden Freddy suit nearby slumped over.
"Right, nice to know, anything else?" Spring Bonnie asked but got silence until Fredbear spoke up.
"I got one, what was your name before you became this," Fredbear asked gesturing to the puppet's body.
"Charlotte Emily or Charlie for short, my dad Henry helped to make the animatronics, William killed me behind the alleyway of the restaurant," Marion said in a whimsical tone of voice, she missed her dad.
'So she's the murder case that sprung up 2 weeks ago, what a mess this is' Spring Bonnie thought as he mimicked a sigh.
"Nice to meet you, Charlie," Fredbear said making her nod it felt nice to hear someone say her name again.
Bonnie's ears then twitch as he heard something, Spring Bonnie picked it up as well as he looked at the door to the room.
"Quick back into positions! Employees," Bonnie said ending further conversations as the four animatronics went to their area and stood still going into 'offline mode' or pretending to at least.
Marion went back to her box in the room while Fredbear and Spring Bonnie sat back down and made it look like they were slumped over, right on time as the door opens and two guys came in wearing uniforms and talking.
"Jeez, I can't believe they got the stains out," The first guy said looking at the floor.
"It was harder getting it off the animatronics and suits," The second guy said with a huff.
"Ah, poor kids, they didn't deserve that," The first guy said with a frown.
"Those two lads put up a fight though, let's hope they injured the bastard enough to track him down, god, I can't help but think what if it was my kids?" The second man said as they went over to the four animatronics.
"I wouldn't put my kids down when I got home, I heard we're gonna be getting more security during the day to prevent a repeat," The first guy said before shaking his head.
"Good, right, so what is going on today?" The second guy asked after a moment or two.
"Well, these five are on stage for the first party back after the incident, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie are gonna be kept in the animatronic mode so no one can wear them again," The first guy said making a certain duo mentally breathe a sigh of relief.
'Good, no sweaty guys wearing me' Fredbear thought as he peaked up to see one of the guys turning on the four bots.
"Right, so these four on the stages, will Fredbear and Springs be wandering around?" The second guy asked looking at his friend.
"Yeah, they're gonna do some modifications and add in some security measures to them, the big guys are gonna help with the day watch," The first guy said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out some papers.
"What about the Marionette and Goldie over there?" The second guy asked.
"They're not booked for today, come on let's move these guys," The first guy said as Bonnie, Freddy, Foxy, and Chica powered on and looked at them.
"Follow us," The first guy said as the two men lead the bots out.
Once the door closes Fredbear lifts his head and looks at his brother, who leans his head against the wall.
"What a mess," Spring Bonnie said as he sighs.
"How do you feel?" Fredbear asked pulling his knees to his chest and hugging his knees.
"Amazed, shocked, a little bit angry but right now...I'm...upset, we won't be able to see our families again," Spring Bonnie said as he reached up to touch his left ear.
"Hm, I know, our magic is too weak right now our magic signatures might not show up," Fredbear said as he remembers the special family tapestry.
It recoded every member of the Jackson family, from blood to adoption, so when a person dies their name will turn from gold to black with the cause of their dead in brackets beside the names and their dates of birth and death. For Blake and Felix, their birth date would be when they became Jacksons and were adopted into the family.
"I wonder what it will say? Technically we're not fully dead, just in these suits," Spring Bonnie said as he looked at his golden yellow body.
He was mainly golden yellow with his chest and belly being a dark golden-brown color, under his neck on his chest was a purple metal bowtie. Under the bowtie were two little black buttons, he then looked at Fredbear, he had the same color's as his brother with a purple bowtie and the two buttons just with the added purple top hat he had on with a black band of color around the middle of the hat.
Spring Bonnie was also sleeker in design, where Fredbear had a nicely sized waist and head to make him look big like a bear. Fredbear's height was around 7'0" mostly so in suit mode employees could look through the mouth, Spring Bonnie was around the same height, Freddy and the gang being around 6'5" and the Puppet was 5'0" in height. At least they can put their new height to use.
"Who knows, let's just get used to being like this then we can start figuring out how we're gonna help the kids," Fredbear said as he shrugs.
"Right, let's get this day over with first," Sping Bonnie said as he hears footsteps making him nudge Fredbear and they both went back to the previous slumped positions as people came in.
"Right, let's move these guys to parts and service, Jeff, Andy, you two take Fredbear, Lisa, Billy, you two take Spring Bonnie," A man said as people came over to them.
"Right Jack," The others said as Spring Bonnie felt arms wrap around his waist and his arms lifted over shoulders.
"Ready, up we go!" Lisa said as Spring Bonnie felt himself get lifted up and pulled along.
"Man! Fredbear you need a diet, lay off the Pizza!" Jeff joked as Fredbear squashed down his response to make a jab back at the guy.
After a moment or two, along with some complaints of back pain, Spring Bonnie felt himself be sat down on a metal table.
"Right, first things first, we need to remove their head's and start adding in the security upgrades but we need to upgrade their memory processors otherwise the security system won't work, ha, this is gonna be a long day," Jack said as the sound of tools being moved was heard.
It felt strange as Spring Bonnie did his best to not move or make a sound, his suit head was taken off as he felt hands do things to his endo-skeleton head, he felt wires plugin as components were added. His head started to feel...better like he wasn't heavy any longer. He bit back a grunt as his chest was opened up and he felt someone fiddle with his inner components.
"Memory update complete, how are the motor upgrades coming Lisa?" Jack asked looking up from the computer he was working at and the thing Spring Bonnie was currently hooked up to.
"I've replaced his arm motors and waist, his neck motor is fine we upgraded that 3 weeks ago after it shorted out, hm, his legs and knees I'll do next and then I'll finish up with his hands and feet," Lisa said as she replaced some spring-locks that connected to the suit with motors.
"Though it is difficult with these locks, they keep pinching me!" Lisa said as she tossed another into the pile beside her.
"Don't forget to put the suit locks on, we don't want their heads or suit arm falling off suddenly and scaring the kids," Jeff said as he worked on something nearby.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Lisa said as she went back into Spring Bonnie's chest.
After an hour Lisa got all of his motors done, he felt less stiff now. His chest was still open as Andy came over next and used a device to deactivate the spring-lock mode, he pulls back and closed Spring Bonnie's chest.
"Spring suit mode is now deactivated, is the system check ready?" Andy asked backing up as Billy looks up from another computer as Jack moved on to do Fredbear after finishing with Spring Bonnie.
"Ready over here, just connect those wires to his head," Billy said as he passed Andy some cables and wires which he connected to Spring Bonnie's head.
'Ow! Those hurt!' Spring Bonnie thought with a mental wince at the small shock he got.
"Connected, right, let's turn him on," Billy said as he types in something and Spring Bonnie felt himself surge with energy.
'Here we go!' He thought as he lifts his head, still missing his suit head mind you, and opens his eyes.
"Whoa! Who changed his eyes?" Andy said taking back a bit in shock.
"Changed?" Jack asked looking over.
"Yeah, his eyes are green now, a very vibrant green but...I guess it looks nice on him?" Andy explains rubbing his neck.
"Maybe they ran out of the usual color?" Lisa suggested making Andy shrug.
"Could have," Andy said as Billy shook his head.
"Right, beginning system check, first head movement," Billy said clicking something and Spring Bonnie moved his head around.
He did feel a small compulsion but he guessed that was from his new systems, almost like a knee-jerk reaction. The closest he could compare it to was when a doctor did a reflect test on your legs, except it was his whole body.
"Good, now his arms and upper body," Billy said making Spring Bonnie's arms move in different ways along with his hands and he moved his upper body from side to side.
"Excellent, now pelvis, legs, and feet," Billy said as Spring Bonnie was pulled from the table and made to stand as he moves his lower body.
"Nice, no problems and glitches, now, voice test," Billy said as he pressed something.
'What do I say?' Spring Bonnie thought a bit panicked at that but he relaxed when some words popped up across his vision.
"Hey, kids! Welcome to Freddy's Family Pizzaria, enjoy your stay, and don't forget to have fun!" Spring Bonnie said making Billy nod.
"Good, voice box is fine, he's good to go," Billy said as Andy steps forward and took the wires and cables off before putting Bonnie's head back on.
"There we go," Andy said stepping back as Spring Bonnie looks around.
"We're ready with Fredbear," Lisa said as she steps away to go and clean her hands.
Spring Bonnie watched as they did the same checks with his brother, soon he had his own head back on and stood up looking glad that it was all over and done with.
"Right, you two are to walk around and entertain the kids and parents but also patrol and check for anyone looking...suspicious, if you do stay close to the children and alert the nearest employee," Jack said making the two nod.
"Understood," Spring Bonnie said as they were led from Parts and Service to the main area where they were met with the lively sounds of a party and children having fun.
Spring Bonnie looks at Fredbear who nods and walks forward to greet a young child who looked happy to see him, Spring Bonnie smiled and steps into his new role, he glanced over to the stages and saw the others having some fun.
'Maybe this won't be so bad, we can at least have a bit of fun while trying to get our revenge' Spring Bonnie thought as he knelt down to listen to some children.
A YEAR LATER
1883
"Argh! Me legs!" Foxy yelled as he sat on a table looking at his messy legs from his show today.
"The cleaners aren't gonna like that," Chica said as the animatronics were hanging out in the main stage area.
Well, not everyone, Marion was keeping an eye on Golden Freddy in the storage room, they had been twitching recently and Marion was sure they caught the suit teleporting but wanted to be sure about it.
Bonnie sighs as he sat on the edge of the stage holding his guitar, today had been hectic, two big birthday parties and a food fight broke out. He looks up to see Freddy on the stage watching Foxy try to get some of the muck off his legs.
"Should I get some towel Foxy?" A smoother voice said making Bonnie perk up and look to the owner of the voice.
Spring Bonnie came in looking amused, behind him was Fredbear who was trying to get a stain out of his arm.
Bonnie felt his chest tingly at the sight of the golden bunny, over the past few months he had felt a strange tingling warmth in his animatronic chest and his cheeks would feel strangely hot when they shouldn't be. He didn't know what it as but it would always turn up when Springs was around.
He was sure Freddy had mentioned it last week after routine maintenance was done, Freddy said he had been feeling odd around Fredbear but thought it was a loose wire but nothing was found out of place.
'I wonder what it means?' Bonnie thought as he put his guitar down and watched Spring Bonnie try to help Foxy get the food off his legs while Fredbear talked with Freddy and Chica.

In the next chapter, some events from Fnaf 4 will take place...with a twist of course.
