Thatch slipped and fell back down onto the ice, muttering 'ah fuck' as he did so. Which definitely earned him a few dirty looks from other skaters. Casper laughed and helped his poor date off the cold floor. They were currently at an indoor skating rink, and the ghost was attempting to teach the other how to skate.

They both were currently wearing some "human illusion charms." Which were some basic cord bracelets with a magical bead on them. The bracelets didn't actually turn them human, it just made them look that way to humans. The illusion also had no effect on magic folk, so it was a pretty weak spell, but this also made them very affordable. These charms were a bit easier to get now that Kibosh was gone.

"How the hell do people balance on these things?" Thatch attempted to balance, but quickly slipped back down to his knees.

"With practice." Casper chuckled, trying to help the other up again.

"Did you invite me here just to repeatedly see me on my knees?" the vampire joked with a smirk, looking up at the other.

The ghost laughed a bit louder and blushed.

"No, now come on, a few more try's and then we'll take a break and go get some food." He smiled.

"Alright, deal."

Casper helped him stand up again. Thatch stood wobbly when let go.

"You know, usually people go on a date before spending a romantic evening in a greenhouse." He smirked slyly up at the ghost.

"We're very backwards, I know. But it's your fault." Casper joked.

"I don't recall it that way…I say it's your fault."

"You flew to my house and kissed me, I was minding my business crying in a corner." The ghost stated with a mock offended tone.

"It's still your fault. You're cute." Thatch snorted with a smirk.

The vampire started to fall again, but the ghost quickly caught him. So quickly in fact, that it made Thatch squint at him suspiciously.

"What?" Casper raised a brow.

The vampire smirked. "You're actually flying aren't you?"

"…No."

"Liar."

Casper laughed with a slight flush, confirming the vampire's suspicions.

"Don't worry Thatch, I'll teach you how to skate, it's not that hard." Thatch mimicked the other in a sarcastic tone. "Meanwhile you're flying. Cheater." He smirked, giving a fake glare at the other.

"I know how to ice skate…a bit of floating just helps from time to time..." the ghost explained quietly.

"Yeah sure, cheater." The vampire teased.

"Oh, shut up." Casper snapped jokingly.

"Make me." Thatch stuck out his tongue.

"Make me." The ghost mimicked back tauntingly.

"Ok." Thatch leaned in to kiss the smaller one, but something snaked around his midsection and yanked him away.

"No kissin on the first date." Stretch taunted, pulling the vampire to a standing position, then removing his arm from the vampire.

Before Thatch could even process what had happened, he found himself being pushed across the room by what had felt like a large beach ball. It was of course Fatso, who had belly bumped him across the room.

"Excuse me. Wide load coming through!" Fatso laughed.

The vampire struggled to crawl off the floor, somebody started to help him up. He had hoped it was Casper. It was not. It was Stinky.

"Smellagram!" the ghost used his stink breath on Thatch, who stumbled away coughing, only to slip on his own skates and fall on the floor, hitting the back of his head on the hard ice.

He stared up at the bright white ceiling, feeling dizzy and lightheaded.

"What the hell are you three doing?!" Casper snapped angrily running and sliding over to his date.

He pulled Thatch to a sitting position and held onto his arm as he tried to reorient himself. The ghost turned his attention back to his uncles and glared.

"You nearly knocked my date unconscious!" he snapped.

"You shouldn't even be on a date! Not with this…miscreant" Stretch gestured to the vampire on the floor.

"You're miscreants!"

"Which means we know what they look like." Stretch snorted and crossed his arms dignetly.

"UGG! Get out of here!" Casper snapped angrily.

"You don't order us around, bulb head!"

The vampire snapped back to reality and held his head groggily.

"Come on, let's get you off the ice." Casper helped his date off the ground and back to carpeted part of the building.

"Now hold on, you get back here young man!" Stretch snapped as the trio followed their nephew.

Casper didn't listen or care to what Stretch was yelling at him, he was more concerned about his date. Furthermore, he was furious at his uncles for this. They had no right to burst in on them and treat his date like that!

He and Thatch walked past the locker area and down a hallway that looked like it was for employees, then Casper opened a closet door and pushed the two of them into it.

"Oy! Where do you two think you're going!" Stretch flew down the hall and towards the door irritated.

But when he got to the door, it flung open, and Stretch found himself being sucked into a vacuum. Fatso and Stinky yelped and attempted to fly away, but it was too late. In a matter of seconds, they were in the vacuumed too.

Casper threw the squirming vacuum back in the closet and grabbed Thatch's hand again.

"Come on, we need to go before they get out of there!"

"And you thought I'd find you boring!" The vampire laughed as they ran back down the hall.

Casper and Thatch walked through the park. The ghost had an arm tucked around the vampires own arm, and leaned on him gently as they walked.

"I'm sorry about my uncles. They're annoying." The ghost mumbled.

"You already said that."

"I know, but they did launch you across the rink. You sure your head's ok?" Casper raised a brow in concern.

"Yeah, but if I keep getting my head hit by things, I'm gonna have to start wearing a helmet everywhere." Thatch joked.

Casper chuckled sweetly. It became silent, but a relaxing silence. Just the night time sounds of the park; crickets, birds, and semi distant cars.

"You know…you still owe me a milkshake." The vampire smirked jokingly.

"Right, I forgot. We were going to get something to eat. Well, what sounds good?" the ghost asked with a smile.

"I say, we go get some take out. Then go back to my house, and watch some random TV before we go back to school." Thatch smiled.

"Will your parents mind?"

"They'll be at work."

"Well that sounds good to me. I should likely hide from my uncles for a bit." Casper chuckled bittersweetly.

"I thought so." The vampire nodded.

It was the next morning, Mantha met up with Ra in the hallway. Class was going to start soon.

"Where's Casper?" She asked him, looking around for her ghostly friend.

"I don't know; he didn't come back to the dorm last night. I guess he had a good time on his date." The mummy chuckled mischievously.

"Or Thatch has done something awful to him…" Mantha scowled, looking off to the side in thought.

"Or, they just missed the boat and ended up deciding to stay at their houses until morning?" Ra suggested with an annoyed sigh. His expression then changed to a smirk. "Or they both had some fun~" he teased.

"Ra!" she snapped, gently pushing him.

"Well it's a possibility." He shrugged with a chuckle.

"Hey guys!"

The two turned around and saw their phantom friend, a smile on his face as usual. The zombie resisted the urge to hug him, knowing it'd be weird in this scenario.

"Casper! I was getting worried!" she stated with concern.

"What? Why? I'm fine." He raised a brow.

She shuffled a bit.

"Ra told me you didn't show up back at your guy's dorm…" she rubbed her arm nervously.

"Oh…" he mumbled. "Sorry, my uncles crashed our date, so I ended up hiding at Thatch's house for the night. We had some take out and watched TV. His at home coffin is designed so that the top functions as a couch. It's a rather neat design." He grinned.

"Did you get to see the inside of the coffin?" The mummy chirped up, an evil smile on his face.

"Well, there wasn't a guest bedroom I could stay in, so yeah."

"Anything else happen?" he raised a brow curiously, still grinning.

Casper blushed.

"Not the kind of stuff you're implying." He chuckled sheepishly.

Ra laughed and patted the shorter one's shoulder.

"Well, I'm glad you had a good time. Even if your uncles crashed it." He grinned.

"They nearly knocked him unconscious! He's got a bad bruise on the back of his head now! Where do they get off interrupting my date! They had no right!" the ghost snapped angrily. His expression then changed to confusion. He shifted his weight and put his knuckles to his chin in a thoughtful manner. "Come to think of it…how'd they even find out? I never told them…" he muttered to himself.

"Who knows…" Mantha chuckled nervously.

Ra gave her an annoyed side eye.

Thatch walked up to the three, wrapping an arm around the ghost. Casper turned to face the vampire, a smile on his face.

Mantha was still having a hard time processing these kinds of actions between the two. She had an expression on her face like her computer refused to open a file because there was too much space on the hard drive.

"How's your head?" The ghost asked Thatch, reaching a bit for the side of his head.

"It's ok." The vampires smile turned into a devious smirk. "But you pulling on my hair didn't help the healing process too much..." he stated quietly, grinning.

You know how sometimes when characters blush, it goes up their face like the red on a thermometer? Please imagine the with Casper, but blue instead of red.

The stiffened up as his entire face flushed.

Ra laughed.

"Nothing else happened, eh?" he teased the ghost, elbow bumping him, Thatch letting go of his date and slinking off to the side.

"He's joking!" Casper quickly tried to correct.

"Uh huh, sure, I see how it is. You're stingy with exciting details." Ra pretended to be insulted, crossing his arms and looking away.

"It's none of your business anyways!" the ghost stammered.

"You did say you liked fast." The mummy coughed.

"Shut up! Thach, tell him you were jo-" Casper stopped as he noticed his date was gone.

The vampire had already left and was down the hallway.

"UGG!" the ghost groaned.

"So are you going to tell me some fun details now?" Ra joked.

"No!" Casper snapped, pulling up his sweater to hide his face in it.

Was Thatch just joking? You decide! XD (in this case he was, mostly anyways XD But decide in your own interpretations as well XD)
