NOTE: Sorry I forgot to post. In fact, when I was uploading the chapter on here, I realized I uploaded a chapter and never posted it the other day. Sorry about that too. I've had a couple things going on, and I always seem to be crazy busy on posting mornings. I remember/am free on some non-posting mornings (which is when I remember, of course), but that's not helpful when I have a posting schedule! Lol!

"Hey!" Jack exclaimed, surprised to see his wife at the airport in the same concourse at the same time as he. When she didn't respond and kept on walking past him, he shook his head and jogged up to touch her shoulder.
Surprised that someone was trying to get her attention, she stopped, turned, then smiled to see who it was. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "Well, I know what you're doing here, but how did our flights cross paths?"
He chuckled. "It's a surprise to me too. I guess we were supposed to see each other before we left for our separate missions."
"I like that." She replied, smiling, but the smile didn't last long. "I better get going. Boarding starts in a few minutes."
"ME-TOO." He signed.
Staring at each other for a few long seconds, Jack finally leaned in for a quick kiss, then the two parted ways, off to their separate boarding areas.
"That was fun." Tara said when Sue finally arrived near her after slowly walking back.
Sue nodded as she picked up her bags and Tara did the same. "Yeah. I wonder how long this case is going to last?"
Her friend shrugged as the two walked up to the line that was forming. "Don't know, don't care. I'm ready for an adventure!"
Sadly smiling at Tara, she then looked straight ahead. While she was always up for an adventure, it was always more fun when Jack came with. Now, both of them were going to be several states away from each other. Some adventure.

"This is so cool!" Mya exclaimed as she, Bobby and Jack walked into the Vermont Mobile Command Unit, which was inside a huge bus located in the parking lot of one of the local police stations.
"Yeah, you're right at home here!" Bobby replied, chuckling as he looked at all the different technological doo-dads that adorned the long and narrow portable office.
"Welcome." A smiling man said as he walked up to the agents from the back of the bus.
"Hi." Jack replied, shaking the man's outstretched hand. "Special Agent Jack Hudson, Mya Rankin, Bobby Manning.
After shanking everyone's hand and going back into a neutral position, the man introduced himself. "I'm Agent Dustin Marshall. I was the one that suggested this whole case chase." He said, waving his hands around. "Hudson," Dustin continued, pointing at Jack. "Any relation to a Sue Hudson?"
Jack smiled and nodded. "My wife."
"Really?" He asked, chuckling. "They said she's the best lipreader in the country, so I sent her to Maine. Hopefully she'll be able to glean something out of the security videos."
He nodded in reply. "I know. We literally said goodbye in the airport."
"Well, I'm sorry to have separated you, but we're trying to solve this before these bandits strike again." Dustin replied.
"You sent Tara Williams along with Sue." Mya added. "Her computer skills can't, well, almost can't be beat. I promise you, if Sue can't read anything, Tara'll get something out of that video."
"Oh, you know her as well?" He asked.
She proudly nodded. "She didn't teach me everything I know, but she taught me a lot. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her."
"That's good to know." Dustin replied, smiling. "I picked the right teams for the job. Now, how about we get to work?"

"Thank you so much for coming!" A woman gratefully said as she welcomed Sue and Tara into Maine's main FBI office.
"Of course!" Tara replied as they followed her from the main reception room to a maze of hallways, zig-zagging their way through them.
"They said you're the best lipreader in the country. I can't wait to see you in action!" She excitedly said to Sue.
She laughed in response. "Thank you, but I'm not quite sure I'm the best!"
She smiled. "Oh yeah, you are."
The two friends looked at each other, unsure how to respond.
"Where are my manners!" The woman exclaimed as they walked up to a doorway. She stopped and turned to them. "My name's Kimmy Montrose.
"Kimmy?" Sue confirmed. When the woman nodded, she continued. "It's nice to meet you."
Kimmy widely smiled. Come on! I'll show you what we have so far!" With that, she turned and walked into the room, the two women following close behind.
