Hey guys! Crescent Rider here, and welcome to the final part of Chapter 2. But before you proceed, I would like to tell you all that I have an important announcement once you've reached the end of this chapter!
Normally, I would have told you now. But it's better that I do it later instead of now.
Other than that, enjoy the final part of the Chapter!
The Fight
Assassin had distanced themselves after the cyborg fired his hand cannon. Before going forward with their next move. She manifests at least three more personalities in the field and readies dirks against the cyborg.
Meanwhile, The latter kept his hand cannon up at all times while keeping an eye on Assassin's movements, 'She multiplied... There are several of them around me and I can't afford to get my guard down. Otherwise, they might overwhelm me with their numbers,'
The cyborg then performed a thorough analysis on Assassin to determine whether there is an original among these clones he could attack. All while narrowingly avoiding the dirks thrown at him
After a while, he was unable to identify which one is the original as every one of these copies holds the exact same signature despite their differences in overall appearance.
Though he kept a sharp eye on Assassin with a long purple ponytail. His initial guess was that she might be the leader among them. Thus, she's a priority to defeat before he can handle the rest.
The cyborg then assumes a fighting stance and increases his energy output while Assassin waited patiently for his next move.
'I need to end this quick...' The cyborg declared, then powers up his cybernetic legs as he directed his attention toward the purple-haired Assassin,
In a split second, the cyborg dashes toward the purple-haired Assassin, and attempts to land a right cross on her. But he was intercepted by a hooded Assassin from his right flank and struck a dirk blade underneath the cyborg's right arm.
The purple-haired Assassin then attempted to throw a dirk at him, but he narrowly avoids the blade by tilting his head to the left. Though he did sustain some damage as the blade grazed through his right cheek.
The cyborg backs off but was caught by surprise when the Big Arm Assassin appears behind and smash his fists down onto top of the cyborg.
He resorted to the defensive by crossing his arms over his head, but the strength of this Assassin had proven too much for the cyborg, went straight through the road, and his lower half gets buried into the ground.
Then, Assassin jump through the hole and surrounded the area where the cyborg had crashed into, and the latter attempted to climb out of the hole.
Unfortunately for him, The damage he sustained from the Big-Armed Assassin had made it extremely difficult to do so. Most notably, his broken arms and his face cracked from the sheer force of the attack.
Hence, it was checkmate for the cyborg.
'One is specialized in Speed, and Another specializes in Strength,' The cyborg bitterly deducted, 'I hate to admit it. But I can't win against... If it comes to this, I might as well self-destruct myself once all six of them have closed in on me,'
However, Assassin remained idle and established a communication link with her master...
A couple of minutes later, Assassin receives an order and questions the cyborg once more, "We will ask you once more... Who are you?"
The cyborg gaped a bit, but soon made a stern look on his face as he decided to comply with her question while thinking of a new plan of attack, "I'm Genos, Saitama-sensei's disciple,"
"There is no need to recite your occupation," Assassin stated, "We merely wish to know your name. However... Our Master has made it clear that your destruction is not necessary,"
"Not necessary? How come?" Genos questioned,
"We reported your presence to our Master, and suspected that you were some sort of stalker towards this man known as Saitama," Assassin stated, "Should you become hostile, we would retaliate but not kill unless the order has been given,"
"Then what do you tend to do next," Genos asked while secretly powering up his armaments,
After a moment of silence from Assassin, they all dematerialized their dirk blades and the same can be said for personalities as well...
"My mission is complete, We do not need to continue this confrontation any further," Assassin declared, "But our Master has provided a warning to you. Should you stalk within this area again, the same result will apply to you once more,"
Assassin then converts herself into her spirit form and returned to the Apartment while Genos was a bit dumbstruck by the sudden end of their confrontation.
With the damage he sustained, he would return to the laboratory and have his doctor conduct several repairs as well as make several suggestions for some upgrades to increase his durability should he fight Assassin in the future...
Saitama's Room
Saitama and Nadia had finished their french fries and the latter had the courtesy to clean both plates as well as the pot she used to cook the fries.
After she had cleaned it all up, Nadia returns to her room to read some books. But soon notices Assassin's return and the latter bends a knee to the former.
"Assassin, How did it go?" Nadia questioned,
"We've managed to subdue him, Master," Assassin responded, "We also received some info from him after our confrontation,"
"Elaborate," Nadia ordered,
Assassin explained the details to her, and Nadia keep nodding her head at every important detail.
"So you're telling me that this stalker, Genos, is actually Saitama's disciple?" Nadia assumed,
"Yes," Assassin replied,
"And since Saitama told me that a cyborg demanded to be his disciple. Then there's no telling that he'll come back for him..." Nadia concluded,
"Do you want me to follow him?" Assassin inquired,
"No need," Nadia said, "Just continue your patrol and let me know whether there's a monster in the area,"
"Understood," Assassin agreed, then returns to her regular duties,
After that incident, Nadia would spend her time reading her books until the day had come to pass.
City - G
The silver armored swordsman was seen performing his daily training. But his thoughts were clouded as he recalls his encounter with the Masked Individual.
Back then, he couldn't pierce nor slash through the monster's tough shell. Then the Masked Individual came into the fray. He takes note of the fact that the sword he used was capable of piercing through the monster's thick shell despite it being on the belly of the monster.
Even he couldn't break through the reinforced bone of the monster. The Masked Individual had somehow managed to do such a thing and use some sort of technique that burned the insides of the monster.
Like it was made by magic...
After he finished his sword at the estimated count, he then sheathes his katana and assumes a proper swordsman's stance.
Moments later, he quickly draws his sword and cuts through several bamboos with swift strikes and breathes out afterward.
"Iaian, is there something in your mind?" The swordsman, now known as Iaian, heard this voice and turns around.
There, he spots his Master, One of the top 5 Class S Heroes of the Heroes Association known as "Atomic Samurai'.
Iaian remained silent, but soon admitted something by asking a question, "Shishou, Are you familiar with the Masked Individual?"
"Him? I'd heard from the higher-ups that any sightings of this person are to be reported," Atomic Samurai said, "Why do you ask?"
"I saw him," Iaian said, "But he came out of nowhere,"
"Really? What was he like?" Atomic Samurai questioned,
"He was mysterious as they say," Iaian admitted, then glances at his katana," But in battle, I felt somewhat inferior to him as soon as he fought a monster in my steed. His swordsmanship was simple, yet he had bested a monster whose defenses I couldn't cut. Before he left, he patted my shoulder a few times"
"I see," Atomic Samurai understood, and smirked at this information "He seemed like a rather interesting individual,"
"Indeed," Iaian agreed,
After that, the two would continue today's training. But their interest in this Masked Individual rose as they were tempted to know who this person is.
The Following Day
Nadia decided to read in Saitama's room since they planned on going to the supermarket together due to a major sale discount coming.
But as they were doing their casual stuff, they soon heard a voice from the other side of the door, "Sensei!"
Saitama was dumbfounded then his mood went a bit bitter as he walked his way towards the door. Nadia just stayed where she is and watched him go there.
When he reached the door, Saitama slightly opens the door, and Nadia leans her head to peek through the open part of the door to see a glimpse of the person standing outside.
After a moment or two, Nadia soon heard the voice of Assassin in her mind, "Master, That's the cyborg we encountered the other day. What are your orders?"
"Remain neutral for now," Nadia said, "It seems like this cyborg has decided to confront this matter personally,"
"Understood," Assassin responded then remained neutral for the time being,
After that, Saitama decided to let the cyborg in and he soon laid his eyes on Nadia first. The two stared for a moment, then he turns to Saitama, "Sensei, Is this girl your daughter, or a relative of some sort?"
"Neither of those, She just so happens to be my neighbor," Saitama answered with a deadpan look on his face,
"I see," Genos understood, and kept that in mind
As for Nadia, she merely raised a single brow at this question, then shrugged it out of her mind as she continues with her book.
Saitama served Genos some tea and told him to go home after since he wasn't looking for any disciples. However, he also mentions Genos' condition as he wasn't fully repaired the last time he saw him.
Genos simply proves an explanation, and it proves a point since repairs are easy as long as the parts are around. Then he would ask if Saitama used any sort of parts, to which the latter responds none.
Then Genos points at Saitama's head and asked about something called 'skin-colored armor'. This caused Nadia to snort a bit but managed to stop herself before it could get the attention of the two.
"That's just my skin," Saitama answered,
"But that would mean you're bald despite being so young," Genos bluntly remarked,
"So I'm bald. What's your problem?!" Saitama yelled while Nadia choked in laughter before calming herself down,
"Me? You'll listen to my problems?" Genos inquired,
"No thanks, I'm good," Saitama answered,
But the cyborg went to tell it anyway.
First off, Genos was once a normal human being around four years ago and he had lived more of a poverty lifestyle with his family but lived happily and peacefully. But his life soon made a disastrous turn when some crazy cyborg came and attacked his hometown with him being the lone survivor.
Genos then went on about meeting some passing doctor named Kuseno, who miraculously saved his life at the cost of him turning into a cyborg since most of his body was beyond repair after the incident.
At first, Saitama thought he was done. But Genos went on about what he has been doing for the past four years after the incident which irritates not just Saitama but also Nadia as it is not only annoying but also distracting as she couldn't focus on her book.
The two soon approached their breaking point as Genos repeated the incident where Saitama saved him from a mosquito monster as well as how he was inspired to be just like Saitama in terms of strength over and over again.
Once they've had it, they wanted to say something to the cyborg. But unfortunately...
...
...
...
Something else interfered between them.
A shadow-like entity suddenly bursts halfway out of Nadia's body and started throwing a fit at the cyborg, "SHUT THE HELL UP!"
Everyone in the room immediately turns to the entity, even Nadia turned as she had a shocked look on her face as it went on with its complaint, "NO ONE IN THE WHOLE GODDAMN WORLD WANTS TO HEAR A GODDAMN WORD BY WORD EXPLANATION OF YOUR GODDAMN STORY! IF I HAD A SAY IN THE MATTER! I'D SAY YOUR DOCTOR FUCKING FORGOT TO PUT THE TERM 'SUMMARY' INTO THE GODDAMN THICK STEELHEAD!"
"HEY! I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO COME OUT!" Nadia shouted at the entity,
"I DON'T FUCKING CARE! I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE OF THIS NONSENSE TALK OF SOMEONE'S LIFE STORY! SCOLD ME ALL YOU WANT! EVEN THE OTHERS AGREE TO MY COMPLAINTS!" The entity said directly to Nadia,
Saitama and Genos couldn't make of the situation as Nadia and this entity argued with one another.
Minutes later, the two had finally cooled down, and the entity remained present with its arms crossed together while Nadia pinched her eyes and shook her head a couple of times, "I am really sorry for the rude interruption. My magic tends to act quite unstable at times,"
"N-Not at all..." Saitama said with a dumbfounded look on his face, "But anyway, what is that?"
"It's... Ego Magic," Nadia answered,
"Ego Magic? What's that supposed to be?" Saitama asked,
"Normally, I wouldn't explain it since it's a personal matter and I'd be leaking this information to someone I've never met before," Nadia admitted, "But since this interruption has occurred, I'll explain it in the shortest way possible,"
"Please do..." Saitama insisted, "And make it short. About 20 words are good,"
"I'm capable of manifesting my emotions in a physical form with separate personalities," Nadia admitted, then turns to the entity, "As you can see here, This thing deliberately revealed itself to you both of you,"
"Huh? That's new," Saitama bluntly remarked,
"But it comes with a downside though. My emotions become sentient beings and it tends to... do this whenever they've picked an interest or felt irritated," Nadia admitted,
"Damn right, We do," The entity stated,
"Can you please leave now?" Nadia requested,
The entity simply scoffed and then immerges back into Nadia's body. But before continuing with a conversation between Saitama and Genos, Nadia had her say in the matter, "Once again, I am so sorry for that interruption. But I must say that I agree with them as well. Genos, We get you to have a tragic backstory, a goal to pursue this cyborg, and your encounter with Saitama and this Mosquito Monster. But you shouldn't explain it all word by word, It's easy for people to lose track of what you're trying to say and what you want to say. It also annoys people if you keep rambling for minutes to no end as well,"
"I see, then I apologize," Genos said, then turns back to Saitama, "But what I want to say..."
Genos made a determined look on his face, then Saitama decided to listen just this once, "Please teach me the way to become as strong as you,"
Saitama stayed silent for a moment, then begins to talk about his request, "Genos, How old are you?"
"19," Genos replied,
"So young, I'm sure you'll surpass me in no time," Saitama commented,
"Do you mean that?" Genos questioned,
"I'm 25 now, but I was 22 when I started training in the summer," Saitama stated, which surprised Genos and Nadia,
'He trained for three years? That something...' Nadia remarked,
"Sure, I'll teach you. But it won't be easy, Can you handle it?" Saitama questioned,
"Yes!" Genos responded with a determined look,
But in just a split second, Genos detects something within the area while Nadia received an alert from Assassin, "Object approaching at high speed. It's here!"
Saitama remained a bit dumbfounded until something bursts out of his balcony. It appeared to be some sort of Mantis monster crackling.
Nadia conjured a small barrier to protect herself from the debris and then immediately stands up but doesn't assume a fighting stance.
Before the Mantis monster could introduce himself to the people inside the room, Saitama punches its face and sends its head straight into a wall while green blood gushed out its neck.
"Pay for my ceiling!" Saitama irritatingly said,
"There are two more outside," Genos said while he didn't notice that Saitama had already left, "Master, leave them to me!"
Nadia simply watched the cyborg jump down the building through the hole and she then sat down and watches as the entire thing unfolds.
After Saitama had buried the two intruders into the ground head first, he was then pulled down to the ground while Genos faced some sort of cyborg gorilla.
Then comes a giant Lion Monster and a Mole Monster responsible for burying Saitama. The lion monster would boast its superiority to Saitama and even brought two of its claws near Saitama's eyes.
Eventually, Nadia held the same reaction as the Mole Monster as Saitama easily got out of the hole.
Moments later, a fight between him and Saitama had occurred and the Lion Monster began slashing his claws that even cut through buildings.
However, Saitama easily avoids all its attacks with minimal effort even after the Lion Monster unleashed its full power on him. Then Saitama kills the monster with what looked like several punches since Saitama was moving rather fast than the eye could see.
Afterward, the Mole Monster attempted to make a run for it, but Saitama simply digs down to catch up with the Mone Monster then he sends it flying out of the ground a few moments later.
Genos had also finished his fight with the cyborg gorilla and it seems like he spared him to interrogate him for information about why he and the others came out of nowhere.
After some time, Nadia decided to drop down and went to the gorilla while Saitama held an eyeball of the Lion monster and presented it to Cyborg Gorilla, "Is this who you mean?"
"Apparently so," Genos added,
The cyborg Gorilla remained silent as he maintained an expressionless look on his face. But after a long period of silence, the look faltered as he panicked, "I-I'm really sorry! I'll tell you everything I know. So don't kill me!"
"What the? What happened to your robot voice?" Saitama questioned,
"I'm really sorry, I was just trying to sound cool," The cyborg gorilla apologized,
Nadia simply giggled to herself to the gorilla's honesty...
That is it for this chapter, everyone! As for my announcement, here is what I'm about to say.
In the next chapter, I will NOT do it in parts as I will be skipping since I don't want Nadia to be involved with Saitama and Genos all the time. In compensation for that, I will do a full original chapter involving the other characters of the franchise as well.
Next, you may all question how Hundred-Faced Hassan managed to beat Genos? Here's some info I've picked up. Apparently, some of the named copies are no joke when it comes to certain aspects of their skill. There's this strong Hassan that beats Kintoki and Beowulf through brute strength despite being fully divided and a fast Hassan that beats Atalanta in an obstacle course.
Of course, people will complain about it as well as the fight being a bit short. But I will do what I can to revise the fight, but I will avoid making arguments with people.
Other than that, you may also notice that I just did a reveal regarding this so-called entity caused by Nadia's magic called Ego Magic. Think of it similar to that of Hundred Faced Hassan, but this magic is much more unstable than the latter's case and I will reveal more about it in the future chapters.
That is all I have to say for now, if you have questions let me know and I will answer, stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all in the next chapter!
