Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here, and I'm back with another chapter! I've got nothing important to say at that moment. But I will let you all know that you should brace for what I have in store for this chapter.

The cyborg Gorilla, who introduced himself as Armored Gorilla to Nadia, explained the details of his boss and backstory. Apparently, his boss was once a prestigious protege of the science community. Despite making several contributions to human knowledge, the public deemed him to be a disillusioned man and he never received even the slightest support from the science community for his theories or ideas.
Hence, the scientist shunned himself and devoted all his time and effort to his research alone until his research had come to fruition when he became 70 years old.
Nadia was quite surprised that a scientist with such devotion was able to accomplish a scientific miracle such as eternal youth, mass production of clones, and countless experiments on several animals all by himself.
But before Armored Gorilla could continue any further, Saitama soon interrupted him, "This is taking too long!"
Armored Gorilla stopped as Saitama continued, "What's this got to do with me? You're just trying to act cool again,"
Nadia glanced at Saitama, then turns back to Armored Gorilla.
"Just get to the point, okay?" Saitama demanded,
"Sensei is a busy man. Summarize it in 20 words or less," Genos added,
"I-I'm sorry," Armored Gorilla apologized, "So, in other words, my boss has become very curious about your body,"
"I'm not interested in dudes," Saitama stated,
"What does that even mean?" Nadia innocently questioned him,
"It's best that you don't know," Saitama said directly to her,
"I think you misunderstood, Sensei," Genos corrected, "He plans on using your body which surpasses normal human limitations, for his research on evolution. If we don't do something, I'm sure he'll try again. We cannot allow him a free hand. Our move should be to attack him,"
"Sure, let's go," Saitama declared then started walking,
"Yes!" Genos responded, then became a bit dumbfounded after processing Saitama's answer, "You mean now?!"
"Yeah, there's a sale tomorrow. Can't do it then," Saitama said as he revealed a flier containing said discounts,
"Sensei!" Genos called out as he goes after him,
As for Nadia, she just watched them while Armored Gorilla opens his head in an attempt to alert his boss. But Genos comes back with his hand cannon aimed at Armored Gorilla again, "Hey, you,"
"Y-Yes?!" Armored Gorilla panicking exclaimed,
"Was the 'House of Evolution' developing cyborgs prior to four years ago? How many cyborgs are there? Have any of them destroyed towns in the past?" Genos interrogated,
"I'm not sure, but at the 'House of Evolution', I'm the only combat cyborg," Armored Gorilla answered,
Genos then lowered his hand cannon, and Nadia could tell that he was disappointed at the answer he received. Before he went to join Saitama, he turns to Nadia, "Are you coming along?"
"No," Nadia answered, "Since Saitama made a mention of that sales. It reminded me that there's a discount on a couple of books I want to buy in another city. I'm not wasting the opportunity, so you two can go on ahead,"
"If you insist," Genos said, then joined up with Saitama as they make their way to the supposed hideout of the House of Evolution.
Before Nadia left, she then turns to Armored Gorilla. However, that's when Assassin materializes beside her, "What shall I do with him?"
Nadia thought about it for a moment, but she soon turns away from him.
"Let him be, He isn't much of a threat anyway," Nadia said and went in the opposite direction
But as she kept walking, she lets out a couple of words for him to hear, "Armored Gorilla. If fate allows us to meet once more. I would learn more about your boss,"
Armored Gorilla simply watched her go in the opposite direction. Once he was alone, he would alert his boss with a distress message and then waits for hours since he was in no condition to move due to the loss of his arms and legs.
City - J
Nadia was by the bookshop and began browsing the shelves for anything interesting since most of them have a small discount since the owner is planning on relocating his business elsewhere.
The reason wasn't due to minimal customers coming and going, nor was it the monsters that lurk around the city. The true reason is due to the establishment being nearby a prison facility known as 'Smelly Lid Prison'.
It said that it houses the most dangerous criminals there. But the worst of them all happens to be one of the strongest heroes in the Heroes Association.
Nadia found it odd that the hero would be imprisoned. But when she read a file from one of the books regarding heroes. It was said that this hero had been arrested for committing several assaults on several handsome men and was given a life sentence with no parole due to this charge.
Therefore, she wouldn't blame the owner since he's male and a good-looking individual. One that might fit the preference of the hero's wants.
After picking up the books she wanted to buy, she then went to the counter, placed at least three to four books, and waited for the owner to scan them.
With the price displayed on the register, she then pulled out a bill and placed it on the counter.
The books were now paid and carried out of the store, and plans to make her way back to City - Z to read them.
However, when recalling the sales again. She soon recalled that today was Saturday and Saitama may have miscalculated on the dates.
Therefore, she plans on heading to the market where the sales will occur. But not before she heard people suddenly panicking about sudden monsters appearing in the area.
Nadia simply groans while the entity inside her started a conversation with her, "This world has a lot of pests roaming now. Don't they?"
"Tell me about it," Nadia agreed, "Can you handle it?"
"Gladly," The entity responded then exits Nadia's body through her shadow,
Monster Battle
A group of monsters was holding a few people hostage while law enforcement was pinned at the feet. They would boast about the monstrous strength that they've gained by lifting weights too much.
They would declare their battle with law enforcement as one of the many victories they will achieve. But soon comes the Masked Individual as he cuts down at least one of them and simultaneously rescues the hostage.
As soon as the Masked Individual lets go of the hostage, he readies his sword while the monster's attention were now diverted towards him.
"Who the hell are you?" One of the brute monsters inquired, but received no response from the Masked Individual, "Well, it doesn't matter who you are. What matters is that you've killed one of our friends! Therefore, we will not let this matter side!"
The supposed leader of the monsters rushed towards the Masked Individual while the latter readied his sword.
But before the monster could get close, an unexpected newcomer enters the fray as he punched the monster back.
When the Masked Individual turns to the newcomer, that's how he knew who this individual was...
It was a hero wearing a prison jumpsuit, a chain ball on one of his legs, black bushy hair, a muscular build, and lipstick.
The Masked Individual stared at this hero and had yet to process a single thought in mind.
"It seems I've arrived just in time," The newcomer said, then placed his hand onto his chest as he focused on the Masked Individual, "My name is Puri Puri Prisoner, A Class S Hero of the Association. And I have escaped just to see you!"
The Masked Individual felt weirded out by this man's behavior. But he soon shrugged it out and focused on the enemy in front of him.
'So this is the Masked Hero everyone's been hearing about,' Puri Puri Prisoner presumed, 'He's so focused... and probably handsome underneath all that black clothing,'
Before Puri Puri Prisoner processes his thoughts any further, one of the muscled monsters rushes toward him and punches him straight into the chest.
Even when he sustained the hit, he manages to straighten himself up before frowning at the monster, "My, what strength you have. It's a shame you've turned into a monster,"
His sentence was soon followed by a strong hook to the jaw that knocks him straight to the ground. The Masked Individual glanced at the Convicted Hero while avoiding the monsters attacks with ease,
When he focuses his mind on the monsters lunging at him. The latter materializes his Black Sword, firmly grasps it and twirls it once to slice every lunging monster at him.
'He is indeed talented! No wonder why the Association wishes to have him in the ranks!' Puri Puri Prisoner questioned, but he soon notices the monsters going on head to head with the two,
"It seems their trying to overwhelm us with sheer numbers." Puri Puri Prisoner said, then bends on on his knees "In that case, It is time I transform!"
The Masked Individual glanced at him as he was curious about what he meant by transform.
"Now... Gaze upon my true form, Transform!" Puri Puri Prisoner exclaimed and flexes his muscles
Moments later...
...
...
...
His prisoned jumpsuit was ripped to shreds, and he now stands butt naked for all to see, "Puri Puri Prisoner: Angel Style!"
The Masked Individual widens his eyes at the sight of this sudden change. Nothing really changed for this Class S Hero. But the fact that this man isn't ashamed of being publicly in the nude is something he has never seen in a hero.
But putting that aside, The Masked Individual focused on the battle at hand as the muscled monsters charged their way toward them.
Puri Puri Prisoner resorted to the same method as he rushed forward while the Masked Individual stood still with his sword on hand.
The first brute monster that approached him attempted an obvious punch. But the Masked Individual sidesteps without much effort, then strikes him down to deliver a single stroke.
The same applies to the other monsters that attempted to do the same thing to him. As for Puri Puri Prisoner, the Masked Individual mentally cringed as the naked hero not only punched his opponents. But shamelessly performed several leg locks on each individual monster until their necks cracked.
Despite its effectiveness, it was very uncomfortable to watch the Masked Individual momentarily lost its focus on the enemy.
At the end of the battle, Puri Puri Prisoner exclaims in some fashion way while the Mask Individual felt utterly confused beneath his deadpan expression.
After that, Puri Puri Prisoner then turns to him and remains completely unbothered.
"The rumors about you were better than I expected. You are indeed strong," Puri Puri Prisoner praised,
The Masked Individual remains somewhat silent, but quietly leaves while the Convicted Hero continued with his back turned, "the Heroes Association has held an interest in your abilities and informed every hero regarding your heroic deeds,"
Before long, the Masked Individual had already left the scene, "After seeing you in action today, I am proud to tell you that-"
As soon as he turned, the Masked Individual had already been long ago...
Puri Puri Prisoner seemed surprised at first, then he mistook this for shyness as he cupped his chin in thought, 'I wonder... What does he look like without that mask? Maybe if I get closer to him. I will find out...'
Puri Puri Prisoner thought soon turned into a small goal, then he would return to prison and spend the rest of the day with his 'harem'.
Back with Nadia...
The Masked Individual spent a couple of minutes finding Nadia in an alleyway and immediately stood next to her.
But when he found her...
...
...
...
She was in a depressed state as she bend down and her hands cover her entire face.
The Masked Individual wasn't sure how or why she looked like this. But after a couple of seconds have passed, he spoke to her.
"Um... Are you okay?" The Masked Individual asked concerningly,
Nadia remained silent as she kept her hands on her face. But soon responds in a small tone of her voice, "... no..."
"A-Are you sure? You don't look too good..." The Masked Individual asked again,
Before Nadia could say anything to him, she immediately stands up, grabs him by the collar, and frantically shakes him to no end, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS HEROES ASSOCIATION?! WHY THE HELL DO THEY ALLOW THIS SORT OF THING?! AND WHY IS HE EVEN A HERO IN THE FIRST PLACE?!"
The Masked Individual was taken by surprise as she doesn't do this sort of thing so often. But one good look of her eyes, he notices that the eyes have changed from emerald green to amaranth red.
After a thought or two, the Masked Individual soon realized that he had made an unfortunate mistake...
'Shit... I forgot to turn that off...' The Masked Individual cursed in thought,
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU FORGOT TO TURN IT OFF?!" Nadia yelled, "DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH I SAW FROM THAT PERSON! YOU DAMNED IDIOT!"
The Masked Individual was too much of an idiot to forget about a certain detail of Nadia's magic. Since he's generally a part of Nadia, they share a certain connection.
In short, The Masked Individual forgot to turn off his connection as all five senses are linked to Nadia's own senses as well. Therefore, she was thoroughly viewing the whole encounter by accident.
After she had finished shaking the Masked Individual for a couple of minutes, she continues with her depressed state.
"Hey, I'm sorry that I forgot to turn it off. So stop being so depressed already," The Masked Individual said,
"no... i don't want to live anymore..." Nadia muttered, "Just kill me already..."
"If I do that, I'd end up dead as well. So stop sulking about it," The Masked Individual stated,
Nadia chose to stay silent, and the Masked Individual sighs at this behavior.
"You know what, I think it'd be better that I talk to you in your mind rather than talk to you personally," The Masked Individual declared, then emerges into Nadia's body,
After some brief conversation within Nadia's mind, her eyes changed back to emerald green, and stands upstraight with calm composure.
"To think an idiot as you would forget about our shared connection. You should really learn from your mistakes sometimes," Nadia coldly remarked,
"Yeah, Yeah. And you're always the one to complain about me making mistakes," The Masked Individual said in Nadia's mind, "But right now, I don't want to think about it since I'm calming at least one of your personalities... Don't want one of them losing control again,"
Nadia sighed but chose to put it aside as she picked up her bags carrying the books she holds and then makes her way back to her apartment in City - Z. But not after checking out the discounted products in the supermarket
Smelly Lid Prison
Puri Puri Prisoner had just returned to his cell, and he was lying on his bed with his phone in hand as he conversed with the executives of the Heroes Association.
After the conversation, Puri Puri Prisoner switched on the television and watched the local news regarding him and the Masked Individual with the headline 'Masked Hero in league with the Heroes Association?'
Puri Puri Prisoner kept watching since he had grown fond of this hero. Not just in a romantic way, but with interest due to the powers he possessed.
Thus, he decided to join in on the search for this Masked Individual.
City - Z
When Nadia arrived at the apartment, she noticed that Armored Gorilla was gone. But paid no attention to it as she went to her room and began to read.
As she sat down on the floor, Assassin appears.
"Your report?" Nadia questioned,
"That Gorilla was hauled out of the area," Assassin reported,
"Did you interfere?" Nadia asked, and Assassin shook her head in response, "I see, and what about Saitama and Genos?"
"They passed through the area at high speed. It seems as if they were in hurry," Assassin reported,
"I wouldn't blame them, Today's bargain day at the supermarket. But I took the luxury of buying some for my own," Nadia said, "Have they come back yet?"
"No," Assassin said,
"Alright, that will be all, Assassin," Nadia said, then Assassin dematerializes to her spirit form,
Once the sun had set, Nadia ate her dinner in her own room and slept in for another day.
That's it for this chapter. As for the next, I won't be making it in parts either. But the possibility of Nadia and Sonic meet is there.
