This is just something I decided to write when listening to a song that I right now can't remeber the name of. However I ownthe plot not the characters.
Burning Bridges.
I look back one more time, but continue walking. The house I'm now leaving is dark and the sleeping princess inside won't know where I am when she wakes from her peaceful slumber. Yesterday she started talking about where we'd settle down… I feel a dull ache in my heart, but I continue to walk. For years now I have burned every bridge behind me and it seems that I can't stop.
Every girl I have met and been together with I have left. The only thing I have always left behind was a little note, bitter good memories and pieces of a broken heart. On every note it stood: "Dear little princess. I'm sorry, love. I have to leave. I'll always remember you ad the times we had together. Good bye. Harry."
In every bitter good memory I showered her with love. On every piece of the broken hearts it stood: "Don't leave me!" I look back once again before I disappear behind a hill. The sun is rising… starting to colour the sky and treetops red. A light turns on in her bedroom-window. Soon she will find my note and then… there she is... she was faster than I expected… Standing on the porch, clutched in her hand is the note. "Harry!", the wind carries her voice to me. "Come back!" I turn around and walk away. "Don't leave me!" Burning the bridges behind me seems to be something I'll always do. The one day when I want to turn around and go back I won't be able to… Behind the flames on the other side I see them… blondes, brunettes, redheads… I can't settle down… Burning bridges is something I'll always do...
