Chapter 2: First Day of Working Together

Hey sorry for the long wait. My assignments from my classes are slowing me down to complete the next chapter, but I do wish to pass so I shouldn't be distracted from my work. Also, some of you voiced your concerns and pointers for what I should know about Hazbin Hotel and Gravity Falls or what I should put into my story. I thank you for it, but I would like to do this in my own way. Plus, this chapter will have the sinners of hell explain to Dipper and Mabel about themselves along with what hell is like and what the exterminators do.

Also, sorry for the slight confusion in the first chapter. I went a head and thought that I had wrote down what I was thinking. But I'll clear that up, Angel, Vaggie and Charlie transformed when they entered the forest of the gnomes. And the line where Charlie calls out to Mabel not to shoot in the house. They are living separately, but they are not too far apart. With her singing voice, Charlie is able to project her voice farther across. Kind of like a singer with a microphone, but in Charlie's case she doesn't need one.

The next morning was peaceful; the sun is rising, the birds are singing everything is so relaxing to just stay in bed all morning.

"Good morning all at the Mystery Shack and Hazbin Hotel!"

That is until every radio in the shack and in the hotel, all turned on simultaneously hearing the voice of the grand radio host from hell giving the morning report announcement. Alastor. "It's going to be a sunny morning with the clouds moving in from the west, giving us a patch of sun and shade for the afternoon."

The pines grown as they were force to get up out of bed trying and failing to turn off the radios.

Time Skip

"Is this going to be a regular thing for now on?" Stan asked Alastor, who reply "I have no idea what you mean?" Stan let out a sigh, "I mean you broadcasting on the radio at 6:00 in the morning." Alastor laugh and said, "Early news makes everyone's day, my good man." Not wanting to go on a long conversation about a man needs his extra hour of sleep, Stan just let it slide for now and focus what they are really here for. "Alright everyone, look alive. We're going to be working as business partners for the summer, or for who knows how long. So, as boss of the Mystery Shack, I have some of you do part-time work here and at the hotel."

Stan hands everyone a schedule plan for who's going to be working on what, where and when. "Some of you are going to be working in the Shack with Soos and Wendy. That means creating newer attractions, stocking up on the merchandises, giving tours and repairing anything that might be broken." "What about money handling at the register?" Vaggie asked, "I didn't put that in cause some of you look like you would steal from me." Stan answers. "Grunkle Stan, they're our new friends. We can trust them." Said Mabel, Stan pinches the bridge of his nose, "Look sweetie, with new employees you need to build up on trust to see if they can handle register duty. Also, to keep an eye on them if they try to steal from me or do something stupid."

As fate would have it, Soos walks in and said, "Sorry to interrupt the meeting Mr. Pines, but the wings for our new attraction have gone missing." Stan simply said without looking, "Check and grab a new one from the supply closet, Soos." "You got it, Mr. Pines." Soos saluted and walk to the closet, but when turned the missing wings were glued to the back of his shirt. The hotel residents tried to hold in their snorts and laughs. Stan jabs his thumb over his back, "See what I mean?"

Charlie clears her laughter and ask, "Okay. Anyway, back to our main concerns. We're have a small staff of employees, so if Dipper and Mabel would like they can do some small odd jobs from time to time. I can see them working as assistants for either an Event Planner, a Porter, Waiter/Waitress, Housekeeper or Concierge." Dipper and Mabel look at each other thinking it might not be that bad. "Also, Soos could help with any repairs we may in the hotel, and Wendy could help manage the front desk with Husk." "Provided that she doesn't starts taking a drinking habit." Vaggie said with a glare at the winged cat, Stan gave some thought to the idea, "Huh, have my employees work twice as hard having two jobs and keep the payment the same. I don't know if it could- Sold! They can work around here too." Said Stan.

Everyone was surprised at Stan's quick answer. "Now, let's see what kind of hotel joint we're working in." And so, Charlie and her friends gave the Pines a tour of their hotel. "So, starting off is our main Lobby." Charlie spread out her arms as the Pines looked around. "You have a card table and a bar?" Stan asked, "Well, we weren't planning to have one. But some of us think we should." Says Vaggie, glaring at Angel for slamming into her to shut up and declared on keeping it back then. Angel just smiled and averted his eyes away from her.

"I'll say. This reminds me of my time in Vegas." Stan complimented, "I'm loving all of the colors!" said Mabel as she trots around the room touching the floors, the walls, and the paintings. "Mabel. Please refrain yourself from touching the paintings." Vaggie scolded politely as she could to the 12 year old, Dipper sadly explains "I'm sorry about that, Mabel can be kind of, energetic when she's excited." 'Which is always.' Dipper thought to himself, as he and everyone watches Mabel poking at the eyes on, well, everything. "Let's move on, shall we?" Charlie said, guiding them down the hall.

1 ½ hours later Time Skip

After seeing every room, space, and closet in the hotel. The three Pines collapse down on the couch back in the main lobby.

"I need to head back up to level 32, I think I drop a lung back there." Said Stan gasping out of breath, Dipper checks his watch and sees how much time has passed, he turns to his Grunkle and said "Grunkle Stan, don't you have to open the shack Soon? It's already 7:30." Stan shot up with newfound energy, "Hot Belgian Waffles!" and bolted out of the front door.

Seeing the old man out of the room, the Pines twins and the demons of hell can finally open up and talk freely. "Now that the old man's out of the way, I propose that we should explore more of the human world!" said Charlie, "Hon, please. We still need to figure out how we got here in the first place, and how we can get back to hell." "Come on, Vaggie." Charlie moans, "This is my first time being in the human world, I want to see everything!" placing her hands on her girlfriend's shoulders, Vaggie calmly spoke, "And you will, we all will. Well, maybe not everything, but still, we can make this memorable. But for now, let's focus on trying to contact home." Taking in a breath, Charlie smiles at her lover, "Okay."

Mabel turns her attention to her bother and ask, "Why didn't you show Grunkle Stan that journal you found, bro-bro?" "Stan doesn't believe in the supernatural." Dipper explains, "Plus I don't know how he will handle the idea of demonic sinners living around him, no offence." Alastor waves, "None taken."

"By the way." Mabel asked Charlie, "How long have all of you been living in hell?" "Mabel, that's a little rude to ask that." Dipper scolded her, but Charlie said, "No that's okay, I know you were probably thinking about it anyway. You see, I was born in hell. My father, Lucifer, was banished to hell by god. And soon fell in love with my mother who was human turned succubus." "That's so sweet of your parents love, but so tragic at the same time." Said Mabel, "So wait, your dad is Lucifer, not Satan?" Dipper asked, "No, no. Satan is more of a title for king, for my dad. Kind of like my title as a princess or Alastor's title of an Overlord."

Dipper and Mabel turn to the red colored deer like demon, as he nodded his head. "It's true, I am an Overlord. One of the handfuls of other Overlords who also resides in hell." The twins eyes shines in awe and amazement, Dipper took notes in the journal while Mabel asked, "How did you get sent to hell?"

Everyone went silent, "Ah, Mabel. I think that's too much of a personal question." Said Dipper, "Oops, sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel upset or anything." Vaggie crouch down and said, "I know you didn't mean to make us feel bad, it's just talking about how we died isn't really something we'd like to talk about." Dipper then suggest, "How about instead of how you've died, why not say what year it was when you've died. Is that better?" Looking over her shoulder at her co-workers and acquaintances all of them were nodding in agreement.

Alastor went first. "Let's go in order from oldest to youngest, my life ended in 1933." Angel went next, "1947." Then Niffty, "I'd died sometime around in the 1950s." Husk just said, "1970s." And finally, it was Vaggie's turn, "I've died in 2014." "Wait, what?" Dipper and Mabel said confusingly, "That can't be right." Said Dipper, "What can't be right?" Niffty asked, "Did we jump two years ahead? Are we now teenagers?!" Mabel asked, "No, Mabel. We didn't." said Dipper as he faces the confusing looks of residence of the Hazbin Hotel and said. "I don't know what year your thinking it is, but it's 2012 here."

Crash!

Everyone was so stunned, Niffty didn't react to clean up Husk's broken booze bottle. "What!?" "That's impossible!" "It's supposed to be 2020!" Vaggie, Charlie, and Angel voice their objectives, while Alastor is either more excited or a bit frighten at the news.

"Okay. Let's not jump to panic-y conclusion here, people." Said Mabel getting everyone's attention, "We don't know how all of this happened, and maybe it could turn out to be a good thing." "HOW CAN IT BE A GOOD THING!?" Vaggie, Charlie, Angel and Dipper yelled angerly at Mabel, who smiles as she replies "Because, you can tell your past self not to get killed."

Vaggie stares at the young upbeat girl like she was eating 30 Pupusas non-stop, "What did you say?" Everyone was dumbfounded just as much as Vaggie is. "I said, 'You could stop yourself from dying.'" Said Mabel, while Dipper felt uncertain about his sister's idea, "I not sure that's a good idea, Mabel." "Well, on one hand you'd be saving Vag's mortal life." Said Angel, "But on the other hand, I wont be in hell and be with the woman I love." Vaggie interjected, as she smiles lovingly at Charlie who returns the gesture.

"Well, we don't really know for sure. Look, let's just find Vaggie's name online and see." Charlie openly suggests, calming everyone down. Charlie went to the front desk and turned on the computer, "I hope we can still get internet connections here." Her hopes has been answered, when the screen shows up with the connection to the internet waiting to be connected. "Yes."

After getting the computer setup, Charlie loogle her girlfriend. Only for it to come up, "Vaggie… There's nothing." Vaggie walks over to see for herself, in truth. The internet has no information on Vaggie or her family. "This, can't be real." Vaggie said in a shaky voice, Angel walks over to them, "Let me try something." And takes control of the computer, Dipper raised a finger and ask, "Do you know how to operate a computer?" Husk answers his question, "Kid, listen. Do you honestly think that time doesn't flow in hell? Because it does." "Some of us do understand the new technology that has changed society or the world, and we don't mind it. But we do love to have a part of our timeline with us when we were alive." Alastor explains.

Angel typed in his real name and a year when his family made news. only to get the same results as Vaggie. "This isn't right. The articles of my family's mobster shooting should be on here." Soon, Husk and Niffty did their search on themselves online and came up empty handed, even Alastor's radio show podcast and his killings were nowhere to be found. "It's as if we'd never excited in the first place." Said Alastor.

No one wants to say it, for they have to agree with the Radio Demon's statement.

Dipper snaps his fingers, as an idea has pop into his head, "What if they did?" "Huh?" Everyone turns to Dipper, "Do you guys ever heard of the multiverse theory? It's were there are more than one universe co-exciting with ours. Like say, different personalities, or age, or…" Vaggie's eyes widen in realization "A different time."

Taken back at the sudden idea, Angel said "As strange and farfetched as that sounds, it does make some sense." "So, we are either sent back in time or in a different universe, but in the human world too, no less?" Niffty summons up what they all know. A memory came back to Charlie "Actually, I believe my father might have mention possibilities of other worlds besides heaven, hell and the human world." Everyone turns their attention to Charlie as she explains what her father had told her long, long ago. "He told me, that there are ancient deities living in a different dimensional plane. Similar to gods and devils. I always thought it was a boundary they live in, but now, I believe this is what he meant." Charlie showcased her hands, as to say for what has recently happened to them 24 hours ago.

"Okay, it's really possible that you guys came from a different universe." Said Dipper, "So, all we have to do is figure out how to send you all back to your universe." "And the hotel." Charlie chimes in, "Yeah, and the hotel." Dipper suddenly realized that, "This just got more difficult."

Alastor walks over to the young soon to be 13 year old, "Well, for now let's find what he can to get a connection to our hell universe. As well as getting to work with your uncle." Dipper nodded, as the front doors open, everyone stand up straight to see Stan in his Mr. Mystery outfit with some tourist. Stan announcing, "Welcome. To a world of dark mysteries of the Hazbin Hotel!" All of the Hazbin crew said, "Welcome." To the tourist as they headed to their workplaces. Time to start their new life in Gravity Falls.

Time Skip

"And Remember. We put the fun in 'No Refunds'!" Stan shouts to the leaving tourist, while Charlie said, "And do tell your friends you had a wonderful time at the Hazbin Hotel!"

The day went by with some few ups and downs, the upside is that the humans love the demon paintings hanging around the hotel and the drink service at the bar, Charlie manage to get everyone to agree on serving non-alcohols drinks to the tourist. She and Niffty even came up with the idea of serving their favorite drinks as a café theme. The downside was Angel's adult rated sex jokes and Husk's use of swearing non-stop. But thankfully they'd stop in time before things could have gotten ugly.

It was closing time for the Mystery Shack, and it was break time at the hotel. The Hazbin crew were taking this time to look around the shack so that they know the layout of the house; where the attractions are, where parts of the house is, stuff like that. Though, Angel, Vaggie and Charlie did see most of it yesterday they decided to hang out with the Pines twins.

"Hey, Angel." Dipper gets Angel's attention, "I didn't say this yesterday, I want to thank you for helping me looking out for my sister." "Yeah, that was really sweet of you. Angel." Charlie smiled at the spider demon mobster, "Though it's strange, it's the first time I saw you acting so overly protective for someone, besides your friends." Said Vaggie, Angel replies "Don't sweat it, I just don't want anything like that to happen ever again." All of the girls and Dipper look at him in curiosity, but also a bit unsettle, "What do you mean, 'don't want anything like that to happen ever again.'?" Charlie asked, it suddenly clicked in Vaggie's mind, "Are you saying something like that happened to you?"

Angel looks down with sadness clouding his eyes, "Sort of, but I wasn't the victim." It was starting to make sense now; the protection, the threats, and what he said about having a gut feeling about a guy that maybe bad news and that siblings should trust one another when they have a plan in mind. "You have a sister."

Angel nodded his head yes, "Twin sister, to be more precise and an older brother." Mabel jumps onto Angel and gave him a big hug, "I'm so sorry." Mabel sobbed into his chest, Angel patted her head to comfort her, while Dipper came over and gave him and Mabel some comfort too. Charlie and Vaggie were shock to hear that Angel has a twin sister and an older brother, but they were more overwhelmed by the fact that Angel's sister was a victim of raped. "That's why you were so overly concern and protective of them. You didn't want Dipper and Mabel to go through what you and your sister did." Said Charlie softly.

The first time Vaggie met Angel, she thought he was more of a slutty bastard who doesn't give a shit about anyone and only cares about himself. But after hearing what his twin sister went through, Vaggie now sees another side of Angel she did noticed before. And her respect and trust for him as grown a little. But there was one thing on her mind that was bothering her, "Angel, not to be nosey, but I just want to know. Did it happen when you were alive or in hell?" Angel didn't want to give away anymore details than he already did. So, to answer her question, Angel only raised his pointer finger to the air.

"I don't like to talk more about it, it's a too personal for me." Angel said tirelessly, "I understand." Vaggie says walking over to him, and rest a hand on his shoulder, "Though, I do hope I could meet your sister sometime, I believe we can have an understanding one another on the same topic." Angel look at her with wide eyes full of shock, "Vags, you..." Angel was lost for words, but Vaggie nodded her head. "She's not alone in this." Vaggie replied. Angle smiles thankfully at the girl he argues and teases for as long as he's known her, "Thanks, Vags." Charlie was so overwhelmed, she flung her arms around her girlfriend, Angel, and the twins into a group hug.

It was a peaceful sweet moment, until Soos saw them hugging, "You dudes having a group hug?" and soon joins in on the hug, "It's always fun to be a part of a hugging friendship."

"Okay, this is getting creepy and awkward." Said Angel as he tries to wiggle himself out of the hug followed by everyone else. "I so glad for you, Angel. You're finally opening up to us. Though I never intend for you to open a tragic piece of your past." Charlie said sincerely to the spider demon, "Just try not to bring it up too often, ya got it?" Charlie nodded 'yes' in agreement. "Alright, enough of this sad tragic backstory, because I have a question." Said Mabel, "Why did you want to have a hotel and live in it when you can live in a castle?"

Charlie smiles at the young human girl, 'She really knows how to change the mood into a positive one.' "Okay. It's because I wanted to make a better place for all sinners. The hotel is a place to help rehabilitate demons so that they could go to heaven." "Wow, that is so noble of you." Mabel said in awe, "That's awesome!" said Soos, "So, you're trying to get sinners and demons a second chance to become a better person?" Dipper asked, hoping what he's hearing what Charlie is planning correctly.

"That's right." Charlie answered, as she explains her reasonings, "Once every year, heaven sends angels down to hell slaughtering any demons they could find out in the streets or in the allies." Vaggie then took over, "They do this because hell is overpopulated, many overlords agree to this tactic of reducing population, including Lucifer." "We call that day, 'Extermination Day'." Angel finishes. Dipper and Mabel were stun, why would anyone think of that!? "Who would have thought of killing is the only option?!" Mabel shrieked, "My grandfather, God." "Well, he's a stinky poop head for thinking that." Mabel declared.

The sinners laugh at Mabel's statement, "Which is why I'm tired of seeing death every year, I believe there should be a humane way to reduce the overpopulations." "That's way you're using a hotel to help Demons. For them to stay in and try to take part of being rehabilitating." Dipper says with a smile.

"We were supposed to have a grand announcement on the 666 News, until a certain someone decided to ruin it!" said Vaggie, glaring at Angel, "Hey, my girl buddy needed help and my credibility was on the line! If people found out I was trying to become clean, it just throws away my entire persona." Angel retaliates, "Your stunt made the hotel a fucking joke!" Soos, Dipper and Mabel quickly covered their ears when Vaggie said the 'F' bomb. "Guys, not this again." Charlie moans a little at the sight of her friends arguing, "So, does that mean you're a patient then?" Soos asked, the three demons answered "Yes." To the man child's question. "You know, in retrospect; You could have not said his name on air and just have it remain anonymous. No one would know Angel's name, and the hotel wouldn't be a joke."

All three of them facepalmed at Dipper's statement, 'Why didn't we fucking thought of that!?' they thought.

Soos then said out of the blue, "Well, time to get cooking. It's taco night, dudes!" "Yay! Ta-cos! Ta-cos! Ta-cos!" Dipper and Mabel raised their fist in cheer, "Mind if I could help? I haven't had a Baleada in a long time." Vaggie asked, "Oh yeah, dawg. I'm up for more food on the table." Said Soos, "Yay!" Mabel shouts, "More Mexican food!" Vaggie wanted to correct Mabel but decided to wait a little bit to tell her.

The girls followed Soos out to the kitchen, while Dipper and Angel stayed behind for a bit. "Angel I-" It's okay." Angel cuts Dipper off, "I was so guilty for not being there for my sister when it happen, when I saw how protective you were wanting to look out for you sister. I thought that if I could help save your sister, I would be fulfilling my amends for not coming to Molly quickly enough to save her."

Dipper's respect for Angel has grown, and his reasonings are justified and honest. "You've helped me and Mabel a lot yesterday. That really means a lot for me, Angel." "Anthony." Dipper raises a brow, "What?" "That's my real name. Anthony Ranieri." Angel explains, "I thought your name would have started with an 'M'." Angel chuckles a little as he squinted his thumb and pointer fingers close together, "No, but Martin was this close to becoming my first name. Thankfully, it's my middle name."

Dipper smiled, feeling that having a name that sounds not as cool as others isn't all that bad. Sticking his hand out, Dipper said, "Mason. My name is Mason Alex Pines." Anthony smiled back and shook hands with Mason. "It's good to meet you, Mason."

That day became a great day of a bonding brotherly friendship between Anthony and Mason. A.K.A. Angel Dust and Dipper.

Time Skip

It was midnight and everyone was asleep, everyone except the Radio Demon. His shadow swerve across the floor to the vending machine just as it was about to slip through the cracks of the hidden door, a powerful shock sends it back flying.

After collecting itself, Alastor's shadow places it's hand to the machine to see a protective shielding seal to keep spirits out. Seeing no other way of getting in, it retreated back to his physical-self with an interesting discovery.

"So, the machine has a demonic shield protecting what's down there? Well this day has been the most interesting one yet." Said Alastor, as he blows out his candle lantern. "I wonder, how long our partnership with Stan Pines will last? As well as our trust?"

And that's chapter 2, people. I hope you enjoyed it, just as much as I had enjoying making it. How did you like my play on words for google? I didn't want to make any copy rights, so I just have to play around with the words a little.

Angel Dust real name is Anthony, and his family name I picked is Ranieri. It means 'deciding warrior'. In Italian it's 'Ragnar'. it's a name of Norse origin meaning "warrior or judgment". Fun Trivia fact: Angel's name was actually going to be 'Martin' but was soon later changed.

I wanted Dipper and Angel Dust to have a big brother/little brother relationship in their friendship. But don't worry, he'll have a big brother/little sister relationship with Mabel later on. And more interesting bonds being made throughout the story.

Pupusas a Grilled pancake from El Salvador.

Baleada is a traditional Honduran dish composed of a flour tortilla, filled with mashed fried red beans, thick cream mantequilla Hondureña, and crumbled hard salty cheese.

If anyone has watched 'Hazbin Hotel Inspired Drinks!' I would recommend it. Because that's the idea theme for their hotel bar serving drinks to the people of gravity falls or tourist.

Well that's it for now, the next one is going to be the second episode of Gravity Falls. And don't worry, more characters of the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss universe is going to be in here sooner or later as the story progresses.
