As Tails and Sonic made their way through the other side of the wastes they found the third and final key.
Sonic: So Tails what do you think of Mikasa?
Tails: Her past feels awfully similar to mine, I can't help but feel sorry for her. No one should go through the pain I experienced.
Sonic: I can see why, Eggman has terrorized many people in the past, leaving them with bad memories.
Tails: I just wish that event never happened to her, but if that never happened...
Sonic: You wouldn't have met her...
Tails: Exactly... I saw some of myself in her.
While making their way through the depths of the wastes back to me they came across Dusk-Bent who blocked their path. Tails used his arm cannon to blast Dusk-bent when he had the chance while Sonic was distracting the faker so he could Tails the opening he needed. Dusk-Bent was firing multiple Endergon blasts at once but the unbreakable bond managed to dodge every bullet it threw at them.
When that faker was weakened Dusk-Bent unleashed even more power, trying to dash into them, but same as before the faker missed every time. When he was at his weakest Dusk-Bent created a massive explosion made of Endergon revealing confinements of the very same substance. On his escape Dusk-Bent dropped the Dark beam which Tails was able acquire and use, he also sent the data the me allowing me to use it, this also give him access to new areas, which going through them allowed him to acquire the Light beam and like before sent the data to me. Just than they recieved new coordinates.
Tails: Sonic, Dawson just sent me the location to the entrance of the dark temple, he wants us to meet up with him there.
Sonic: Go ahead and lead the way pal.
