The Next Day...
Nadia is now seen with Genos after the two bought some crates filled with fresh live crabs. The latter carried a small stack while the former carried one crate on hand. As for how they bought these, a discount was announced and Saitama's wants were Genos' priority while Nadia tagged along with him.
They soon set the crates down onto one of the seats and sat on their chairs. But sitting with them was a woman wearing a dark green form-fitting dress, thigh-high black boots, and several necklaces.
'Isn't that...' Nadia muttered, 'Class B's Top Hero, Fubuki. Founder and Leader of the Blizzard Group, and an Esper at that,'
"Doesn't she have a reputation for bullying Class B Heroes?" The Strict Voice inquired,
'In a way...' Nadia added,
The two then noticed her sniffing and tears forming in her eyes.
'She seemed troubled...' Nadia said, 'I wonder what's on her mind today...'
Moments later, the crates carrying the crabs started to rattle, and Fubuki seemed to have flinched.
"They're crabs," Genos assured, and Fubuki turns to the cyborg, "Crabs for my Sensei,"
Fubuki seemed to have recognized Genos from looks alone. But he wasn't the only one she noticed when Nadia spoke, "Is there something on your mind?"
"Huh?" Fubuki turns to her right, and spots Nadia sitting beside her,
"If you want to talk about it, I'd be happy to listen," Nadia said,
'A Class S Hero and a Class A Hero? Why are these two together?' Fubuki inquired,
Before the conversation began, Genos' phone started to ring and the cyborg answers the call. After that, the cyborg stands up from his seat and shouted, "Everyone, get out now! There's a bomb hidden on this very train! Quickly, leave this train at once!"
But he pauses when he overlooked the fact that they were on a moving train. Thus preventing any means of evacuation for the passengers.
"Hey, what do you mean there's a bomb here?!" Fubuki worryingly questioned while Nadia looks at him,
Then the cyborg recalls a certain fact about this hero, "Blizzard of Hell, Fubuki. You're an esper, right?"
"I am, why do you ask?" Fubuki replied,
"Would you take the passengers off this train?" Genos inquired,
"You want me to take care of the passengers?" Fubuki questioned,
"Yes, this train will not stop until it reaches its destination," Genos stated, "Our top priority is to ensure that all passengers get off the train. I will try and stop the train,"
"But what about the bomb?" Nadia questioned, "Shouldn't we be looking for it?"
"We can't concentrate on looking for the bomb right now," Genos elaborated,
"If that's the case, I'll go look for it. If it's defusable, I'll let you know," Nadia said, and Genos nods to her suggestion,
He then turns to Fubuki, and she looked rather hesitant, to say the least.
"What's wrong? You can't do anything without your group or something?" Genos questioned,
"No. I just don't like getting ordered around like this!" Fubuki corrected,
"But in any case, you should listen to what he's saying," Nadia pointed out, and Fubuki turns to her, "We don't exactly have much time left until the train reaches its station. We need to act now before disaster strikes City - Z,"
Fubuki stares at her for a moment, then sighs before complying with the cyborg's orders, "Fine,"
"U-Um, excuse me," A girl called out, and the three heroes turned to a passenger wearing a yellow hoodie, "Would it okay if I help as well? I'm actually a Hero as well. Even though I'm ranked in Class C,"
"That's alright," Nadia stated, "If you want to help, you can assist me in finding the bomb. We'll also notify the other passengers along the way,"
"R-Right!" The girl responded,
Then Nadia turns to the other two, "We have our roles, now let's get to work,"
With that, they sprung into action. Firstly, Genos went outside the train via the emergency exit. Secondly, Nadia and the girl, Swim, went through separate cars and informed passengers to move to the front, and Fubuki uses her psychic powers to evacuate the passengers one by one.
In the midst of their search, Swim soon finds something out of the ordinary and turns to Nadia, "Hey, this door is locked,"
Nadia went to her side and placed her ear against the door. Moments later, she soon heard several beeping noises and pulls her head back.
"Step back," Nadia ordered, and Swim steps back,
Nadia then materializes her sword, heated the blade, and struck it within the gaps of the door. Then, she melts through the door lock and opens it.
There, the two find a pile of bombs strapped like a pillar, and the wiring of every bomb is too complicated.
"Looks like we found it," Nadia said,
"What should we do?" Swim inquired,
"Get Fubuki," Nadia ordered, "I'll stay here and examine the bomb. See if I could find a way to disarm it,"
"Right!" Swim complies and went to get the Esper to the bomb's location.
All in the while, Nadia examines each and every one of the explosives. There were several types of explosives before her.
Dynamite, Plastic Explosive, and even Thermal Explosives...
What's worse is that she can't defuse them all due to the detonators being wired separately.
She could try using magic, but time is short and she wouldn't be able to cover all the bombs in time.
She could also call upon her Servants, but before she could process a way to use them. Swim arrives with Fubuki following her.
"How is it?" Fubuki questioned,
"The bombs are wired to separate denotators," Nadia stated, "We wouldn't be able to defuse all of them in time,"
"What should we do? It's almost time!" Swim said as the train was closing in on the station,
"Shut the hell up!" Fubuki yelled, "Nothing will change with your whining! Get ready,"
"Eh?" Swim hummed, then Fubuki uses her psychic powers on the Class C Hero,
She then lets her out of the train, and then she turns to Nadia, "You're next,"
"No need, I can get out myself," Nadia assured, "Archer!"
Archer soon reveals himself in his physical form much to Fubuki's surprise.
"Let's go," Nadia commanded,
"Alright!" Archer replied, and seemingly lifts Nadia off her feet,
Though the latter didn't care much about it...
The two then jump off the speeding train and Archer used his chains to catch the railings and stopped their momentum.
Once they were out, Archer gently puts Nadia down and the two watched the speeding train closing in on the station.
But before it reached its destination, the train had been lifted off of the tracks and sent flying into the air.
Nadia then notices that the train was emitting a green glow and it hovered in the air, and then the train is compressed until the bomb explodes.
But the blast and smoke were compressed as if nothing had happened.
"What just happened?" Archer inquired,
Nadia turns up to the sky and spots a figure hovering in the air, "It looks like Fubuki isn't the only Esper to have to arrive at the scene,"
Nadia and Archer then made their way to Fubuki, whose currently on the train tracks meters away from the station, then they see the second-ranked hero of Class S. The Tornado of Terror, Tatsumaki...
"Jeez, why didn't you just run away?" Tatsumaki questioned directly to Fubuki,
Fubuki straightens from the floor, and turns her head away from Tatsumaki, "This had nothing to do with you though,"
Nadia glanced at the two for a while, then recalls a certain fact that Tatsumaki and Fubuki are biologically related. Though from their expressions alone, Nadia could tell that the two have a strained relationship.
Without an answer from Fubuki, Tatsumaki scoffs as she turns her head away and hovers off to who knows where.
With Tatsumaki gone, Fubuki covers her eyes with her bangs and muttered, "I can't believe it, this happened yet again,"
"Is that why you were upset earlier?" Nadia questioned, and Fubuki turns to her,
However, Fubuki covers her eyes once more and walks past her without an answer to share.
Nadia watches her leave, but she admits to herself that she won't get anything from her due to the mood she was showing.
Then, she recalls something that she regretted forgetting.
"The crabs!" Nadia yelled out loud, and was disheartened soon afterward, "All that trouble for nothing..."
But her disheartened expression soon turned to resentment. One that will stay fresh until justice is served to the bomber...
The Following Day...
The Bomber in question is seen in an interrogation room after his failed attempt to bomb a city.
Apparently, the authorities weren't getting anywhere with their interrogations as the ex-Hero's lips were sealed tight and he refuses to comply regardless of how they interrogated him.
But that all changes when an officer opens the door. The Ex-Hero expected a cop to interrogate him once more.
However, it was none other than Nadia. Who requested the interrogation to uphold by her, and she also received approval from the Association to do whatever she sees fit.
"Leave us," Nadia ordered the guard,
The guard nods, leave the room and locks the door behind her.
"So you're the bomber, huh? It's quite disappointing that an Ex-Hero would turn to a life of crime in a such short time," Nadia remarked while sitting down on the chair,
"What do you want?" Serial Bomber questioned,
"What I want is answers," Nadia stated, "Why did you do it? Why City - Z? And where did you get the materials?"
"Do you honestly think I'll answer your questions just because you asked?" Serial Bomber questioned, "I hate to break it to you, but you aren't getting anything from me. Little girl,"
With that response, Nadia pulls out a dagger before the man could react, and strikes down just near the Ex-Hero's arm.
The Serial Bomber was frightened, and expresses an outrageous look on his face, "H-Hey! Why the hell did you pull out a knife on me?!"
"Various reasons. Endangering the lives of people, destruction of company property, and attempted terrorism," Nadia listed, "But for personal reasons, you cost me three boxes full of crabs,"
"Is this what it's all about?" Serial Bomber inquired, "You're crazy,"
"I'm crazy, am I?" Nadia removes her hand from the dagger, went to the man's side, and grabbed two fingers with her right, and two more with her left, "Then tell, does a crazy person do this people?"
Nadia dislocates the Serial Bomber's fingers, and he cries out in pain. To make matters worse for him, Nadia had cast a spell to prevent sound from leaving the room and cast an illusion on the one-way mirror.
Nadia then lets go of the Ex-Hero's fingers and watched him caress his hand in pain.
"You going to tell me everything now? If not," Nadia's eyes changed to scarlet red, "I'll do the same thing to your other hand,"
"Why?!" Serial Bomber yelled while whimpering at the pain,
"Hey! I'm the one asking the questions. You're supposed to give me the answers," Nadia stated while breaking another finger on him, "Now, tell me everything, before I break all your fingers and ensure that you'll never make another bomb again,"
Serial Bomber continued to whimper from the pain so much that tears started forming from the corner of his eyes.
"I'm going to take your whimpering as your uncooperativeness to my questions," Nadia said before continuing her session with the Ex-Hero,
A Few Minutes Later...
Nadia had finished interrogating the Ex-Hero for certain answers and made her way back to City - Z on foot.
The fate of the Ex-Hero, Serial Bomber, had been decided by the court and is sentenced to prison at City - J's Prison. To make matters worse for the Ex-Hero, he will be sleeping in the same block as Class S's Infamous Hero, Puri Puri Prisoner.
She had no pity for the Ex-Hero, but she often wonders to herself if such people exist within the Association. Apart from Saitama, Genos, and Bang, she wondered if there are people who would exploit the system set by the Heroes Association for their own personal gains.
In the event that she finds such a person, she would lose some faith in the Association and expose them for their wrongdoings regardless of their ranks in the heroes community.
But such things weren't important as Nadia wanted to ease her mind after losing the crabs from the train and head home with some alternative ingredients for tonight's dinner.
As for Archer, he was seen walking next to her with a smile on his face. After what she had done to the Ex Hero, he grew somewhat amused by the show she had witnessed while also reminding her to stay on her good side.
That is it for this update, everyone! And I will say this thought, this update was done in just two days! That's fast compared to the other updates.
But enough about that. What I should be talking about is the topic of Nadia achieving some level of regeneration. Some of you may say that Nadia has become OP now that she has a healing factor.
If so, here's a bit of information about Nadia's healing factor. It isn't like Zombieman's regenerative ability (Who can survive a lot of fatal injuries without complaint). If she suffers damage, she will feel the pain and the regeneration is slower.
If she is fatally struck by an enemy or is mortally wounded to the point that the Heal Factor is unable to keep up. She dies and that's that.
