Mort dropped dead of a heart attack at sixty-eight. He felt more tired than usual after cleaning the chapel after one service and resetting it for the next. He sat in a chair to close his eyes but never woke up. He was discovered by the family of the deceased when they arrived for the funeral. According to their report they thought he was just asleep at first and were angry with him. Until the son noticed how gray he looked. He had married Samantha just over a year after Louise died. She retired after losing her husband, but her nephew Jace took over.
Jimmy Pesto Senior died of complications from advanced testicular cancer after fifteen years in prison. Halfway through his sentence. As the Belcher's lawyer managed to get five extra years added on. When it was proven that Bob and Linda's deaths were a direct result of losing their daughter. She pushed for a manslaughter charge. There were very few people who felt sorry for the pain he felt. Even though the final year of his life was pure agony. He got what he deserved.
Jimmy Junior returned to Seymour's Bay just after Tina got sober. He tried to see her, but Zeke and Teddy ran him off. He became a full-fledged scumbag. Just like his dad. He tried to open a restaurant but failed quickly. He undercut so much. Even worse than his dad and the business suffered as a result. The final straw was when he punched a heavily pregnant waitress for making a mistake on an order. Even though he had taken the order himself. He ended up serving a year in jail for that one. After that he just bounced in and out of jail and couldn't hold down a job for more than a week. He blamed everybody but himself for his failures.
Andy and Ollie lived with their mother until her death.
