Halloween Horrors

Chapter Nine

Richard Castle inside his grey Mercedes with the very light rain had been searching the area as with Sergeant Anderson and Lt. Alverez on where the lawyer might have gone. Castle stopped for a brief moment to exhale when he noticed a garbage container remembering the past serial murder cases of the past.

Driving slowly over. He will park the Mercedes by getting out using his black umbrella from the back seat. He had raised it up with one hand as he started to walk on over. Pulling out his cell phone briefly in case he's able to notice anything.

However, as it turned out. He noticed the body on the side of the container. He had the awful feeling that it might have been the lawyer Michael.

Moving down to check for any ID as his face was cut to ribbons as with his throat and chest. He found his brown wallet in his coat pocket reading the ID using his pocket flashlight that he keeps. He had dropped the umbrella to read the name and the very man they were looking for from the Crow's feet bar as well.

Bringing up his contacts for Sergeant Anderson and Lt. Alverez. He pressed the send button to have Anderson answer the phone. "What is it Castle?" His son-in-law noted with his comment.

"I found him over at the garbage container not too far from his apartment complex. William, Michael had been cut to pieces indicating that it looks like we have a serial killer on the loose again?" Castle responded.

"I will have the crime scene unit called into the area making sure that nothing is touched, Castle. Plus to have any Tv reporters to be staying out of the place as well." His son-in-law says to him turning his head to let Lt. Alverez updated inside their own vehicle.

Lt. Alverez will mutter the following response. "Son of a bitch!" he will then slams his fist up against the door on his side.

Castle will come back with his words over the cell phone. "Understood," he remarked with his tiredness beginning to set in. "I will wait here for now before heading home gentlemen." he alluded with a loud yawn out of his mouth.

It didn't take all that long before Sergeant Anderson and his partner arrived with moving out of their vehicle to see the sliced male body with Castle waiting for them.

"What a mess, Castle?" Sergeant Anderson exhaled.

Lt. Alverez agreed with bending down to check for a pulse in his neck. Only to be shaking his head. "A shame that his wife Carolyn had lost her husband to this killer." he motions seeing the first of the crime scene team to be arriving in 15 minutes along with the Coroner Doctor Syndey Perlmutter and his assistant after a long shift at the hospital.

Doctor Perlmutter moving out of the coroner's van didn't need to have another mystery on his hands after such a long time working at the Manhattan medical center. Both officers will bring him up to date on who is the body.
