"Nice knowing you Eli." Nico shuddered as she put her phone in her pocket with.

Nico let out a huff as she left the kitchen with a bowl of water in her hand, as she reached the living room, she could see Maki sat on the sofa with a bag of ice covering a black eye, the Ravenette could also see the pinkette had bruised knuckles and a cut just above her right eye.

"How's the eye?" Nico asked as she sat on a chair in front of Maki.

"It's fine." Maki mumbled as she put the ice pack down.

"Shouldn't you keep that on?"

"Its fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Nico, I'm the doctor here not you."

"Fine, if you say so, now hold still." Nico said as she wrung the cloth and began to wipe the cut over the pinkettes eye, earning a series of hisses from the doctor.

"Well that's what you get for getting in a bar fight." Nico growled.

"Hey, I didn't…OW!" Maki shouted as Nico was wiping the cut "That hurt!"

"Why do doctors always make the worst patients?" Nico growled, as she wetted a cloth in a bowl of water.

"Maybe because we know how wounds should be treated and..." Maki mumbled before she let out a cry as Nico dabbed the cut again "Ow, careful!"

"Do you want to do it yourself?" Nico asked with an exasperated sigh.

"Just hurry up, I want to go to bed." Maki groaned.

Nico let out a sigh before she carried on cleaning the cut above Maki's right eye, "You got lucky," Nico sighed "Eli, Rin and Umi are far worse."

"Did you hear any word on the others?"

"Rin and Hanayo are home and safe and Nozomi is taking Eli home now, which given how Nozomi looked earlier Eli's doomed when she gets there."

"Any new on Umi?"

"Nope, last I heard she was still asleep in hospital."

"I hope she's ok." Maki said with a dejected look.

"She'll be fine, she's a tough girl." Nico said trying to reassure her girlfriend "Though she might not survive Kotori later, she's scary when she's angry."

"They say you should always fear the anger of a gentle soul."

"So I don't have to worry about you then." Nico said with a smirk.

"What's that mean?"

"Well your no gentle soul, your quite prickly princess."

"Oi, I can be gentle thank you very much." Maki said with a scowl "And your one to talk."

"What are talking about you tomato lover?" Nico said with a scowl.

"I've seen those jealous looks when we are out and people come and talk to me and ignore you."

"I'm just better at keeping myself low key in public is all."

"Yep, keeping telling yourself that."

The two glared at each other for a few seconds before pair giggled to each other "Not done that in a while, have we?" Nico asked as she put the cloth in the bowl of water.

"No, we haven't." Maki smiled.

"Are you sure you don't have any other injuries?" Nico asked quietly.

"Yes, why do you keep asking?"

"Because your stubborn and might be trying to look better then you are."

"I'm fine Nico, I wasn't in the fight much to be honest." Maki growled.

"Hey, that's no bad thing."

"I know, but still I couldn't help but feel a bit useless in there." Maki said gloomily.

Nico put hands on Maki's shoulders as she shifted forward to sit on the pinkettes lap "Maki, if I wanted someone who was good at fighting, I'd date a boxer, but I'm not, I'm dating you so don't feel bad you weren't good in a fight, you're a doctor your meant to patch people up after a fight not get in one."

"But Umi, Eli and Rin were ok." Maki said with a slight tint to her cheeks at the pair position.

"Rin's a runner and she did kind of surprise those three guys, Umi's an archer so she's got muscles."

"And Eli, what about her?"

"Well she's always had a good physic, plus she's dating Nozomi, Eli needs to have good muscles to pick her up with all that weight on her chest."

"Nico!" Maki said through giggles "That's mean."

"Hey, she groped me more then you, I think I've earned that one." Nico smiled as reached to get the cloth again and began to dap the pinkettes knuckles.

"How did the fight start do you know?" Maki asked.

"Nope, I would have thought you'd know."

"I was coming out the loo at the time, next thing I know I'm seeing stars and on the floor thanks to a bottle to the face," Maki growled "When I got up again and out the loo, I saw a giant fight breaking ou…OWW, that hurt!"

"Jeez, Maki where doesn't it hurt?" Nico asked, dumping the cloth in the bowl of water a little exasperated.

"Here!" Maki said pointing to her shoulder, Nico leaned forward kissed the shoulder.

"Anywhere else?" Nico asked enjoying the slightly surprised look on the doctor's face.

"Erm, here." Maki said pointing to her forehead, which Nico kissed again.

"Anywhere else?" Nico asked leaving her face closer this time when she pulled back.

"Here isn't too bad." Maki said pointing to her, which Nico kissed again.

"Anywhere else?" Nico said her face so close Maki's vison was almost filled with Nico's scarlet eyes.

"Here." Maki said pointing to her lips.

Nico leaned forward and captured Maki's lips in a gentle kiss, Nico could feel the doctor melt into the sofa as the ravenette continued the kiss.

"Your still in trouble." Nico said as she broke the kiss.

"What for?"

"For hurting that beautiful face of yours." Nico said with a smirk at Maki's flustered face.

"That's unfair." Maki muttered looking down.

"All's fair in love and war." Nico said cupping Maki's chin and kissing Maki again "And you love me for it."

"I wonder why sometimes." Maki pouted.

"Because I'm the number one girlfriend and Idol."

Nico then felt hands on her hips before she felt herself being picked up "Well right now I'm more interested in the former."

"Oh?"

"Yes, I need to reward the number one nurse for taking care of me." Maki said with a smirk at the blush that appeared on Nico's face, as she carried the ravenette.

"Your unfair."

"And you love me for it."
