CHAPTER 1

Six woke up to a bright arse lamp in his face. The Spartan moved his eyes around to see the room he's in and noted he's in a hospital room. He remembers coming out of slipspace and got hit by an asteroid, damaging and rattling things inside of the ship. Some scrap metal hit Six in the shoulder pretty bad and he was hurling towards Earth, on the verge of passing out due to blood loss and exhaustion. That's when the film went black. He groaned as he tried to get up only to fall back on the bed he was lying in with a hand belonging to a slender red headed woman on his chest.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. Your ship crashed in a remote location and we were there in time to pull you out. How are you feeling?" The woman said.

Six groaned again. He noticed his wounds seem to be healed, but he doesn't have a clue where he's at or who this woman is. The Spartan looked at the woman before him.

"Where am I?" He asked the woman. "Who are you?"

"My name is Alex. You're safe now so take it easy, alright?" She said to him. "You're at the DEO's Medical ward. You were out for three days."

Six sat himself up as he get his bearings straight. His armor and under-armor were missing and so was his ship he used to somehow get to where he's at now. He went to wipe his face with his hand and noticed the marks on his arms. That was when the anxiety started to happen.

His scars are laid bare in the open for all to see. The light blue scars that were the incisions of his augmentations. The bastards of ONI knew that he has blood they never seen before. They knew about Kryptonians, so, they knew about his abilities and the bulletproof skin under a yellow sun. The idiotic scientists somehow found kryptonite and used a portion of it to use in order to augment his body. What they didn't account for was his extreme metabolism.

When Six was brought in for the augmentation trial, They thought the anesthetic was doing it's job until they realized that wasn't the case anymore. The young Spartan candidate woke up during procedure and immediately started screaming and crying in agony. All he wanted was for the pain to stop, but unfortunately, he didn't have a choice in the matter. The assholes were cutting into his hands and wrists, and shoving, to what appears to be chemicals, into his very being.

When it was over, when they stopped cutting. They turned on the sunlamp to help him heal faster, but the scars remained. Kryptonian scars are different from human scars. Human scars are raised, hardened, and have no feeling if you touch it.

But with Kryptonian scars, they almost look like stretch marks. They become very sensitive to touch, and with added kryptonite, they'll become a bluish color.

From then on, the boy had night terrors every night. He would never screamed, but he'll wake up heart racing, cold sweat running down his skin, and hyperventilating until he forced himself to calm down or cry himself to sleep.

He didn't have Kat or Jorge to help calm him. And they were the only people, human, capable of doing so. But... They're gone. Dead. He was... alone and afraid.

Six's Breathing became irregular, fast and shallow, all the while his chest feels constricted.

Heart beating at a nonhuman rate.

Alex noticed that he was having a panic attack.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. Deep breaths! In and out. Can you do that?"

He continues hyperventilating shaking his head yes.

"Okay. Okay, in and out. C'mon, can you do it with me?" She asked him. She got her answer when he started to mimic her breathing. "That's it, that's it. You're okay, you're safe." Alex gently told him once Six calmed down a bit.

The Spartan slowed his breathing and his heart do that he could speak to the woman once more.

Out for three days?

That's how long he was unconscious for? He wasn't expecting to live through the event of blood loss, but, he survived worst if the scars on his body was any indication. Six placed his face in his hands, sighing to himself.

"My name is Alex, can you tell me yours?" Alex greeted once more. She wasn't sure if he heard her tell him her name or not.

He started to stumble on his words a bit before getting a hold of himself.

"M-my name is E-E-Ethan, Spartan B312, ONI and UNSC property of the Spar-"

"Whoa, whoa, easy now. You're not a slave here." She told him. "Just your name, buddy."

Alex waited patiently for him to just say his name. She couldn't help but think about what he called himself. Slavery has been abolished for over a century now and here was Ethan saying he was property to... whatever government agency he was talking about.

"Does it have something to do with the scars across his body?"

She thought to herself.

Alex did some blood work on him while he was in a state of unconsciousness, and found that he has Kryptonian blood in him. She also noted that Ethan doesn't have the same abilities as Kara, so she chalked it up to him being only part human and mostly Kryptonian. But his DNA was heavily mutated by whatever it was that was put into him. She told J'onn and Kara about this discovery. And to her shock, Kara looked upset.

It doesn't take a 12th level intellect to know that Ethan was used as a guinea pig.

"Ethan, Dr. Alex." He said snapping her back into reality.

She looked at him and smiled gently at him. Just then, there was a woosh of wind coming into the med-bay. Alex smiled at the two women that came in.

"He is awake alas, little one!" Astra said with excitement with Kara standing there with a smile.

Alex stood up to hug the older woman and pecked her on the lips. Kara, who was behind her girlfriend, was smiling that bright smile of hers. She slowly walked towards Ethan with a warm smile on her face.

"Hi, my name is Kara. It's nice to see you awake, how are you feeling?"

Ethan, who was just staring at his lap, didn't look at Kara at first because he was trying to hide his scars from them. Even if they saw the scars on his body, that didn't necessarily mean he wants to show them. Hiding the scars from even himself, so that he wasn't reminded of the pain, procedure after procedure.

When the Spartan did look up, he saw a pair of natural bright blue eyes, blonde hair and a beautiful bright smile that even a super soldier like himself can feel totally relaxed. Ethan was in awe. He mouth slightly open, his breath hitched and all the tension in his body fading away.

"I-I-I'm fine, better actually. Um, can I... can I get some pants and long sleeves, and some food, please?" He asked looking away with a faint blush.

Kara noticed he was trying to hide the scars again. She couldn't help but feel sad for him. He must have went through hell and back and repeated somehow. Sighing internally, Kara turned to search for clothes for Ethan, only to find that they were the only occupants.

"I thought I was fast." Kara thought to herself.

HALF HOUR LATER

After sponge bathing and changing in better clothes to cover himself with, Ethan was being examined one final time before the doctors decided that he was healthy enough to move. The whole time he tried not to let the flashbacks in when the doctors were just doing a routine check-up, but he managed.

Afterwards, Ethan was given a small buffet, to which he was very grateful for, then after eating he waited for the three ladies to come back.

He quickly got bored and decided to stretch his legs. Get the blood flowing again. He slowly moved to let his feet hang almost at a limp. Six has been asleep for three days since crash landing on Earth.

Ethan eased his feet onto the cold floor still holding himself. When he'd let go he quickly realized how weak his legs are and fell straight to the ground. He was slightly frustrated with the fact that he can't walk at the moment of his current situation, and on top of that he's back on Earth where he lived the first six years of his life before being taken away.

No pun intended.

Ethan tried getting up but before he could a strong pair of arms picked him up bridal style and placed him back on the bed. He looked up to see the blonde lady again. Man that smile was beaming with happiness. Something the Spartan hasn't seen in a very long time.

"You're still weak from a long sleep. Rest for now, and I'll get my sister and Aunt Astra to come back. We have questions for you." Kara told him.

Ethan shook his head no. He rested long enough and wants to move around.

"I need my armor." Ethan told her.

Kara was a bit confused as to why he needed his armor. She remembered when she had to steer the ship into a location where nobody was going to get hurt, and then ripping the ship's hatch door clean off only to see Ethan wearing a dark blue armor.

"There's, uh, medicine specifically made for my body in order to heal." He sees that Kara understood what was being said and she tapped a comm link ear piece. She contacted and person named 'Winn' asking to bring the armor and helmet to the Med-bay where she was at. When it was done, Kara gave a bright smile to Ethan saying it's on the way. "Thank you." He said to her.

Ten minutes later there was a knock at the door. Kara opened it and found the man she was talking to standing there with a crate on wheels behind him.

"Hey, Winn!" Kara couldn't help but chuckle at her best friend's struggle to bring in the crate. "Need help with that?"

Ethan looked over from the bed and noticed Winn was sweating bullets. He forgot to tell them that it's two times denser that normal human armor, but nothing compared to Dwarf Star though. That stuff will kill you of you're not careful with it.

Kara didn't wait for him to answer, just simply grabbed the crate and brought in front of Ethan and held it for him. She noticed that the Spartan did not look surprised at how strong she is. Maybe he knows what and who she is?

"I know about our species and Krypton along with the history and houses. Please, if you need answers from me I'll be willing." Ethan stated to Kara, who has her mouth hanging, so that there was nothing between them when they start asking him questions. All the while he grabbed his chest and back armor.

"How... Who are you and what are you? Alex ran tests on your blood but the results are-"

"Mix."

"..."

This was an unexpected turn of events. How much does Ethan know and most importantly, what is he? That was when Alex and J'onn J'onzz walked in and stood next to Kara while Alex checked the super soldier's body for anymore injuries that may have went unchecked. When she was done, Alex stood next to Kara as well.

"Hey, everything alright? Where's Aunt Astra" Kara asked.

"She had to go pick up Carter from school and mama is upset right now. The ex has him this weekend. Prick." Alex informed her while cursing their mother's former husband under her breath.

Ethan spoke up.

"I need to inject this blue serum into my legs but there's no kryptonite to use." Ethan informed as he found the medicine hidden in his chest armor.

J'onn became shocked at what he just heard him say. Kara went over to the controls of the krytonite levels and turned it to where it was not harmful to either of them. Alex was gaping like a bloody goldfish for a moment before recomposing herself as a stoic agent. What was more shocking was the fact that Ethan was anticipating pain from the krytonite. His body became very tense thinking that he was going to be in pain from it.

His eyes were tightly shut.

When he didn't feel the full effect of the krytonite he opened his eyes and sighed in relief before inject the soldier medicine into both his legs. Once done he laid done, legs straight.

J'onn spoke first.

"My name is Director Henshaw. We have questions about you save hopefully the blanks will fill in by you." The DEO director said. "First one; How happened before you crash landed here?" He asked before Kara could ask with a million of her own.

Ethan looked at the dark skin man with a bit of hesitation. He knows that he said he was willing to answer questions but that didn't mean he wasn't afraid either. The super soldier cleared his throat.

"My ship suffered damage from an asteroid field and tore my left wing completely off. When I broke through the planets atmosphere I went to prepare to make a jump but a piece of slag broke apart and struck me without notice. Passed out from blood loss then woke up here. " He explained while the three people left with him to digest this information before it was Alex who asked a second question.

"Where did you come from?"

Knowing that the suit he had on was not something their planets military would make since the suit is about two Centuries ahead of their time. Ethan 'hmm' for a second before answering the red head.

"I came from a planet called Reach."

Hey, cliffhanger!

Now, I know this is the first Halo and Supergirl crossover but before you say TRASH please consider I had many ideas running from watching supergirl and playing Halo Reach asking with other stories about supergirl and family. This took a month to write.

I would like to know where do I find the Kryptonian language. I want to incorporate a few languages in here with translations in by them.
