Warframe Beyond the Origin
ESKK: Well, here we are chapter 15 ready and published enjoy.
(Start Starforge Relay the Drydocks)
The Tenno had been hard at work for the past few days. Ever since their mission on Mandalore the Tenno had opted to let the Jedi deal with that bit of crazy. Though it did not really do them much since the Tenno had heard that Satine had gotten into some trouble in Coruscant which by the end kept Republic forces from occupying Mandalore. At the moment the Tenno were heading to the Dry Docks to where the Lotus had a surprise for them. Mari still had not gotten her spa room, yet which served to annoy her but Akin now had his workshop up and running. Though Mari got smug about it when the Mandalorian Clan had occupied it using the workshop to develop new weapons for the Tenno and armor for them as well.
The Tenno soon arrived inside the Drydocks and were wide eyed at what they saw. First of all, they saw two brand news Railjacks causing them to go wide eyed. "Wow a Caballero Railjack and a Sungem Railjack!" Akin called out as they fly boy was no doubt seeing stars at this moment.
"Yes, Tenno crew." Cy was heard as this got the Tenno's attention. "Thanks to the Starforge Relay we were able to bring these vessels back from beyond the grave." Cy said as he introduced the new Railjacks. "But this was not why you had been summoned." Cy said and thus they walked down the path and saw something else entirely. "According to Republic records this is an Old Republic era Hammerhead Cruiser it had been used in every fleet during the era of the Old Republic and had been the inspiration after." Cy said as the Tenno saw the newly created ship. "We have extensively modified it with a Void Drive as well as the use of a Hyperdrive as well. All data on it of course has been locked to prevent possible Sentient incursions on it." Cy spoke as the Tenno looked at it and saw that their Orbiters were being loaded up into the ship as were the Railjacks.
"Want to take the grand tour guys?" Zed asked as he looked to his squad.
"I call captain!" Akin called out already running in only to be grabbed by Titus.
"Nope!" Titus said as he saw what Akin was trying to do.
"Tenno one small update my precepts have been updated with the data of your new vessel. Not only can I act as the Command Cephalon for your Railjacks but so to can I act as such for your new ship." Cy said and thus the Tenno began to enter the new vessel via a walk bridge.

Needless to say, the Tenno were surprised over what they had found once inside. Zed eased himself onto the chair with a sigh and not just any chair, his brand-new Captain's chair. The ship itself had several new weapons to add to its arsenal as well as other upgrades here and there. The infirmary looked sterilized and ready for patients with its medical droid on standby. The main reactor in engineering already warmed up with a new coolant system and inertial dampers. Several new point gating laser turrets to replace the old ones and add to the existing armament. Such as putting one directly over each of the escape pod bays and another two protecting the cruiser's belly.
They also got a few dozen R2 and R3 series astromech droids with a few R2z Starship Maintenance droids, bought at a great price by the ships new Requisitions Officer. They would make ship maintenance go a lot smoother and quicker. Cy had had the forethought to give them memory wipes to prevent possible spy units being brought on board the ship. Once they were cleared Cy had linked them up to the Cephalon Weave and in turn the ships repairs were of course automated. But nothing beat good old hand and elbow grease hence why they took a bit of time to meet their new crew.
Apparently, the Lotus had put out a Help Wanted ad on the Holonet for their crew requesting certain skills for certain areas with promise of good pay. Needless to say, several people had filed in their applications within the day. It was here that the Lotus had discovered that several republic soldiers had been let go in favor of the Clone Troopers and most of them were still in good health. It was concerning with the Tenno opting to investigate at a later date but for now they had other things to focus on.
The Twi'Lek in Engineering named Julia had been an immense help for the Tenno. She was hired after she had been fired from her old job do to not showing up. It was also the same way they got the ship to begin with... a long story all they can say is another squad of Tenno found this and handled it. Of course, the biggest surprise for the squad were the two used Republic LAAT gunships, six Z95 Headhunters, and two ARC-170 starfighters bought from a Republic surplus station sat in her hanger, ready to fly when they found some pilots to fly them which was handled quickly.
Most of their new pilots came from Coruscant with a few hailing from Republic controlled worlds. this left the Tenno with an entire crew for the ship. Their Railjacks only required a crew of four, but this new ship required a crew of a few dozen people to run it. It seems the Lotus had of course pulled through, but this would be a lot of names for the Tenno to learn. Zed had made his squad section leaders for the ship mainly to ensure a better handling of how things ran. Zed had Akin handle their ships, Titus was with Julia down in maintenance, Aya went over to their medical while Mari handled their general day to day stuff.
The hard part came in the form of payment since these people needed money to pay for things. This came with a small benefit as the ship they had was originally found to have an entire cache of Refined Coaxium which was basically Hyperdrive fuel. This provided the Tenno with a means to pay their crew since finding this stuff was the equivalent of winning the jackpot in the lottery. So, the Tenno had everything they needed for this ship save for one thing a name for it.
"Tenno have you decided on a name for your vessel?" Cy asked as he looked to the Tenno as Zed thought it over.
"Actually, I had one idea I was thinking we can call it the Light of Dawn." Zed offered to which his fellows all looked to each other.
"It works." Aya said as Mari nodded to this as Titus shrugged with Akin chuckling.
"Very well then, Light of Dawn, is ready for departure." Cy spoke as his new precepts allowed for him to become the new ships Command Cephalon as well.
"Alright then let's get ready to move." Zed said and thus they were all prepped for takeoff.
(The Drydock)
The Ship detached from the holding clamps and in turn began exiting the dry dock it made its way outward. Its new paintjob was a pure white color with a secondary of black that had gold trimming around the edges. It was a paintjob worthy of the Orokin but changed to suit the Tenno's own ways. On the side was the crest of the Tenno which was the symbol of the Lotus. Departing the ship departed to whatever their next big adventure may be or whatever mission the Republic may have for them.
(Scene Break Jedi Temple)
Anakin was walking through the Temple as he made his way to the mission briefing. Apparently, he was needed and now that Ahsoka was back to fighting shape she was also taking part in it. But as he was walking a new voice called out to him a voice, he was familiar with the voice of Obi-Wan.
"Anakin." Obi-Wan called as he approached Anakin.
"Oh, hello master what can I do for you?" Anakin asked as it seemed they were on the way to the same place.
"Actually, I wanted to talk to you about Ahsoka." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Anakin.
"Is something wrong?" Anakin asked as concern began to form in him.
"Nothing of the sort I was actually hoping to talk about her ability as of late." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Anakin. "She's grown remarkably well under your tutelage which I shall admit surprised me." Obi-Wan said as he and Anakin began walking together. "And after that whole business with Somnus I as well as several others were starting to wonder if you considered it time for her to undergo her trials." Obi-Wan said which surprised Anakin.
Anakin won't lie Ahsoka has grown a great deal the fact she had known his secret and chose to keep it hidden aside; Anakin saw that she took all his lesson like a sponge. He still had his doubts, but Ahsoka had endured near torture from Somnus to protect the other Jedi from coming to her rescue. He never wanted to put her in that sort of situation again, but Anakin felt there was more to this question.
"I've considered it for some time, but I feel the trials may not be needed considering Somnus." Anakin said as he then had to ask his own question. "Why do you ask?" Anakin asked and thus Obi-Wan sighed to this.
"The Tenno and your Void bearing other half." Obi-Wan said bluntly to which Anakin figured this may have been the case. "Right now, we have a good relationship with the Tenno but after that bit of business with Duchess Satine and the Mandalorians there are those on the council who are fearful of a war between the Jedi and the Tenno." Obi-Wan said which Anakin was well aware of at this point. "So far you and Ahsoka have kept peaceful relations with the Tenno as of late and some feel that it may be a good method to help promote those relations and hopefully bring the Origin System into the Republic." Obi-Wan said as Anakin heard this and glared a bit.
"You mean you want to use Ahsoka as a political tool?" Anakin asked as he did not like that one bit.
"Not a tool but even you must admit the Tenno are those we'd rather have as allies." Obi-Wan said to which Anakin knew his old master had a point. "The Council might believe she is ready for the Trials and all that she had gone through even I would agree with the need to bypass the trials and make her a Knight." Obi-Wan said to which Anakin knew he was right about that.
Her heroics and actions during the clone wars and her close friendship with the Tenno have paved the way for a peaceful path between Jedi and Tenno. If theory is truth and the Void is a power equal to the Force, then it would be best to keep the Tenno as allies possibly friends. "All I ask is that you consider it." Obi-Wan said and thus Anakin sighed to this and nodded.
Anakin knew that the Tenno were powerful and any way to get allies from them was greatly needed. Anakin had actually been working on a bit of a gift of his own for the Tenno he just hasn't found the time to give said gift to them. "I'll think about it master." Anakin said and thus with a nod the two continued to the war room.
(Later in the war room)
The Jedi were seen surrounding the holo-table as they discussed their latest mission. On the holo-table was the images of a planet as well as a Separatist Blockade around said planet. "Parsina has requested our aid against the Separatist, they had recently discovered something of value on their world and now the Separatist desire it." Windu explained as he looked to the group. "They had agreed to join the Republic if we agree to aid them." Windu said as he made it clear securing this world was top priority.
"This thing they discovered did they explain what it is?" Luminara asked as she looked to the Jedi.
"Their transmission was brief but after testing they found it can be used as to enforce our soldiers and equipment perhaps more so than that of the Zilo Beast remains." Windu said and thus it was clear they needed to secure this world.
"So, we'll need to liberate this world in exchange for their allegiance." Obi-Wan voiced but there was more to this.
"Yes, but more so than that is this." Windu said showing images that they knew well enough.
"It would seem the Tenno will be needed for this battle." Obi-Wan said as he saw the images that looked right up the Tenno's ally. On the screen was what appeared to be a monastery, but it was controlled by the Separatist and from the looks of it shielded. "We need to capture this location to turn it into a staging area for our forces to land." Obi-Wan said as he gestured to the planet in question. For Anakin he noted that it had a familiarity to it almost foreign yet familiar.
"But first we will need to punch through the blockade." Anakin voiced as he looked to the scene before him. "But first we will need to contact the Tenno before we device a plan of attack." Anakin added to which they can agree on it.
"They might have something to offer to the table as well." Ahsoka spoke making it clear that she too felt the Tenno might have a better idea.
"We can't wait on them to respond to us we'll need to." Windu began only for the table to flux and from the images Zed appeared on the table.
"Sorry we missed your call, what is the mission?" Zed asked and thus Anakin gave a small smug smile to Windu.
"We are about to attempt to liberate a world from Separatist control we were hoping you might be able to provide some sort of plan." Obi-Wan said and thus showed the planet Parsina opting Zed to give it a deep look from his end. He also saw the data on the staging area and felt a small trickle of familiarity to it.
"We can take the mission no problem, we've recently acquired a vessel for our use you see." Zed said as he then pulled up the ship in question. "We can use it to act as a bit of a scout ship run recon and since we are not affiliated with the Republic... run a mercy mission to deliver supplies to the people down there." Zed said as he looked to the Jedi.
"So, once you land you can take the location and secure it while we punch through and meet you there." Anakin said as he saw where this plan was going.
"Precisely." Zed said as he then went on to tell them more. "We do have former military onboard discharged mainly but they still have fight in them. I hope you all don't mind us having civilian volunteers on our side." Zed said as Windu glared at the Tenno no doubt, he did not like it.
"Wow talk about a museum piece." Ahsoka said as she remembered that Hammerhead Cruiser model from the archives which stated it was used a great deal in the Old Republic with modern models being based around it.
"The more help the better." Anakin said as he then got down to the nitty gritty. "We'll send coordinates to the staging area once we have it until then stay in touch." Anakin said and thus Zed nodded and hung up on them.
"I don't like this, it's one thing to hire them and they get paid in supplies it's another thing to conscribe civilians." Windu said as he glared at Anakin.
"Don't worry I may have an idea." Anakin said as he then looked to Ahsoka before focusing back on Windu. "How long will it take to get the 313th Clone Legion involved?" Anakin asked as he looked to Mace Windu and Obi-Wan.
"They are our reserve forces." Obi-Wan said as the 313th Legion were without a Jedi General at the moment, rest his soul.
"It might involve what we've been discussing prior, Obi-Wan." Anakin said gesturing with his eyes to Ahsoka and thus Anakin got the idea. "Now let's focus on the plan." Anakin said and in turn they redirected their attention to the planning of this assault.
(Scene Break Light of Dawn Day of Attack)
The Tenno had arrived at the staging area for the attack with their new Corvette. They were fueled up and ready to move as they awaited the arrival of the Republic ships. Zed had already gone ahead and informed the crew of the mission and even made it clear that if any of them wanted to back out now was the time to do so. He was very clear that the Tenno aided all those they can, and this was among those aids to the group. Thankfully, the crew was willing and able thus here they were ready to depart for this mission.
Despite the ship being a cruiser since it was no longer in use by the Republic and more so the Tenno technically were not affiliated with the Republic, they should in theory be able to sneak past their enemies. Of course, there was promise that the Republic would provide aid to the Tenno somehow which was hard to tell at this point.
Thus, as Zed sat in the command deck, he began to remember the Old War and the Neptune Campaign a bit. The Campaign was a long one against the Sentient. They lost a Dax then and if not for the Warframes the Orokin would have lost that battle. As Zed let his mind wonder a bit, he then heard the familiar sound of ships outside and looked to see the Republic Fleet had arrived.
"About time." Akin said as he was hoping for a bit of action.
"Come on let's head out and meet with them." Zed said as he began to make his way to the ships holo-comms.
(Meanwhile with Anakin and Ahsoka)
"So, what did you want to talk about Master?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to Anakin.
Anakin was nervous about this since, after all how else is he supposed to tell Ahsoka that he was going to recommend her to become General and that she be promoted to Jedi Knight. "Ahsoka how do you feel about me as your master?" Anakin asked as Ahsoka noted the concern in his tone.
"Well, I'll admit I learned a lot from you and I'm grateful for that." Ahsoka said as she found this odd for a bit while they walked. "Honestly, I like being your Padawan because if one thing I know is that sometimes, following orders is not the right thing to do." Ahsoka said as she looked to Anakin who then nodded to her.
"Do you think you still have more to learn?" Anakin asked as he looked to Ahsoka who smiled.
"Honestly... I'm not sure if I do or not." Ahsoka admitted as she then smiled nervously a bit. "I leave that up to you to decide and maybe the council... but." Ahsoka began and in turn the doors opened to reveal the hanger and in it a legion of Clones standing there.
"Well, Ahsoka then consider this your trials." Anakin said as he gestured to the Clones. "Meet the 313th Legion I had requested they be brought in for this mission, Ahsoka." Anakin said as he looked to the shocked Ahsoka.
"W-what?!" Ahsoka asked as she was completely lost on this.
"They were on reserves after the loss of their Jedi General thankfully I managed to get them back to the fight." Anakin said and then turned his attention to Ahsoka. "This is your chance to see if you're ready to rise or if you still have some things to learn." Anakin said and thus Ahsoka went wide eyed to what this meant.
"Wait you want me to command them!?" Ahsoka asked shocked at what she was hearing.
"You've come a long way little one, I believe for a fact you're ready." Anakin said and thus Ahsoka knew it was her time to shine.
"I... I won't let you down master." Ahsoka swore and thus Anakin smiled and thus he gestured to the clones. "Now go meet your men." Anakin said and with a nod Ahsoka was about to when the comm. links went off. "Skywalker here." Anakin said and thus was met with Rex.
"General we've arrived at the staging area we're waiting for you for mission briefing." Rex said and thus Anakin nodded to this.
"I'll be right there." Anakin said and thus Ahsoka saw what this meant.
(Later Mission Briefing)
The duo arrived in the strategy room as Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan stood around the table with the image of Parsina and the blockade around it. Near the trio the hologram of Luminara and Barriss were seen as were the holograms of Zed and his squad. They were talking strategy as with the map Palpatine, Yoda, and Windu were seen as well.
"Our plan is simple we'll send the Tenno in to provide relief supplies while setting this monastery as a staging area for us." Anakin said as he pointed out the monastery in question. "Once our forces are able to land safely, we'll begin a campaign through the planet to take the strategic bases around the planet here, here, and here." Anakin went on while the locations were highlighted around the planet.
"By taking each of these locations we cut off the Separatist hold on this planet before we hit the main base." Obi-Wan said as he had a highlight on the capital of the city.
"And once we liberate it, we gain access to this new resource this planet had found, brilliant." Palpatine said as he saw what this meant for them.
"My squad and I will hold the location until you all in space can break through the blockade." Zed said as he looked to the group. "Once we make it through and land you will start your attack so they can't send aid down once we take the location." Zed said as he pointed to the landing sight.
"I'm also going to have Ahsoka and the 313th Clone Legion accompany her down there." Anakin added before Luminara spoke up next.
"My Padawan had requested to accompany your ship down to the planet if you shall allow it." Luminara said and thus Anakin looked to Ahsoka on this one.
"Well, Ahsoka?" Anakin asked and in turn Ahsoka saw she had to speak up.
"Of course." Ahsoka said and thus with a nod they got ready to move.
"Very well." Palpatine said as he looked to the group. Just then the door opened, and Senator Riyo Chuchi walked in as she looked to the group. Now it was quite uncommon for a Senator to join a battle, but she was here for a purpose and that was to help with the relief supplies. It also provided a bit of validity to their mission, but it came with risks of itself. "Ah Senator Chuchi, it pleases me to see you have made it." Palpatine said as he looked to the Pantoran Senator.
"Of course, I was more than happy to provide relief to the people of this world who wish to join the Republic and negotiate their joining as well." Riyo said as she also came here to be close to Akin as well.
"And for that I am grateful." Palpatine said before Anakin spoke up.
"Don't worry Chancellor we'll make sure she gets out in one piece." Anakin said which got a nod from Palpatine.
"And for that you have my thanks, Master Jedi." Palpatine said just before Windu spoke up next.
"Good luck and may the Force Be with You." Windu said and thus their communication link ended.
(Scene Break Light of Dawn)
Tenno were in the hanger of their ship as they were preparing to greet their guests. They now added credits to part of their payment with the explanation of the need to pay for their crew and expenses. Thankfully, they did not ask for much and kept their rates at a reasonable area. Money and the like were handled by the Ships HR Department which funny enough was Mari's idea. So, when the Republic transport ships landed the Tenno and hanger crew were greeted by the sight of Ahsoka entering with Barriss Offee and Ahsoka's Clone Legion even if said legion was only as part of a testing phase for her.
"Riyo!?" Akin asked shocked to see his girlfriend was here of all places.
"Hello; Akin." Riyo greeted recognizing Akin by voice alone.
"I'm happy that you joined us Senator to add a bit of validity to our mission." Zed said as he looked to Riyo who nodded to the Tenno.
"Of course, we have the relief supplies on the ship as well." Barriss said gesturing to the relief supplies in question. "I also took the liberty of doing research on the planet we will be visiting I hope it will be of some aid to you." Barriss said as Zed nodded to this.
"I'm sure it will, it will be nice to work with you once more." Zed said as he nodded to the Jedi. "Now then we best start moving the more time we waste he more these people have to go hungry and suffer from sickness." Zed said and thus they began to move.
"Right." The group agreed and thus they got moving to the command deck.
(Later Parsina Space)
The Light of Dawn came out of Hyperspace as it flew towards the Blockade with shields active, but weapons deactivated. In the command deck Barriss was surprised to see so many different people on the ship. "Platinum for your thoughts?" Zed asked as he walked over for Barriss.
"Oh yes sorry it's just I'm caught off guard by how you have such a crew like this." Barriss said as she looked to the crew in question.
"Yes, well when we found this ship it was being used for far more nefarious purposes and some of these people were forced into it." Zed explained as he looked to the crew as they worked. "So, when we took ownership of this vessel, we offered them all jobs and that was how we learned of the varying military vets who had been discharged in favor of the Clone Army." Zed said noting some of the military guys were weary of the Clones. "It's not much but we do our best." Zed said as he did not want these people to end up like the people of Fortuna.
"It's more than what the Jedi have done as of late." Barriss said as Zed looked to her seeing she had doubts about the Jedi.
"Perhaps." Zed said as he then got word from the bridge crew.
"Captain, Zed the Blockade is hailing us." The crew said and thus Zed knew what this meant.
"Everyone to positions." Zed said and thus he went to answer the comm with Riyo while the Jedi and Clones avoided it to avoid letting the enemy know of what was coming. "Patch them through." Zed ordered and thus the hologram appeared before them of a fat Nemodian Lok Durn as he stood before the group no doubt the one responsible for the occupation.
"Attention unmarked vessel you are approaching a restricted zone, state your business or be shot down." He said as Titus in Chroma Prime rolled his eyes to this.
"We're here to provide relief supplies to the people of this planet." Riyo Chuchi said as she stepped to the plate. "I had hired the Tenno to escort me and the supplies to the planet." Riyo said as Lok Durn looked at the Pantoran General who awaited a response. But when he saw Zed with his Excalibur Umbra it was clear that he knew not to mess with the Tenno.
"Very well we shall allow you safe passage." Lok said and thus Riyo nodded to him.
"We thank you for your understanding General." Riyo said and thus the call ended.
(Meanwhile on the Separatist Ship)
"That was close." Lok said with a sigh of relief as he sat on his chair. After all word of the Tenno's exploits were legendary as well as... gruesome.
"General are you certain it is wise to allow this vessel to pass?" The Tactical Droid asked and thus Lok glared at the droid.
"Do you want to be on the receiving end of a Tenno's fury?" The Nemodian responded and in turn the Droid wisely shut its vocalizer.
(Back with the Tenno)
The ship flew through the blockade as it made its way down to the planet. As they went downward the Tenno were preparing to land the vessel at their landing sight. From what they understood most if not all of the refugees were there, as were the Droid forces. They needed to go in strike fast and strike hard to secure the location as a landing zone.
"Send word to General Skywalker to begin his attack." Zed said and in turn the bridge tech nodded and did as, told.
Soon enough as the message was being sent, zed stood up and spoken to everyone with a small announcement, "This became our very first mission as an entire crew of the Light of Hope, lets show this world, and any other worlds the strength of our will and our spirits and send these battle droids to the void!"
Everyone cheered out and gotten ready for battle with Zed picking up his Skiajati and place it at his side as he said, "Mission starts!"
(outside)
With Battle droids surrounding the ship as they prepared to unload the supplies inside but will be meet with a nasty surprise as when the doors started to open, they were meet with the barrel of a rifle as one droid said, "Ah oh."
Suddenly the droid was blasted to bit with the other droids behind it was throw back as well by the force of the blast and their fellow droid companion as leaping out from the ship first was Titus as his wings appeared on his Chroma Warframe as he glided across the air while battle droids started shooting at him, unaware of a spear made of pure void energy came forth with great speed, piercing many droids as well while creating a vacuum effect that drew in other droids.
Akin came out next while using the Styanax wielding the Vitrica Heavyblade as he came in and slash the droids around him at once , with many droids was rushing towards him they were suddenly shot at by a violet sphere of some sort which expanded while shocking the droids in the process before it soon exploded as Mari came out from the ship next wielding the Alternox in her hand while using the Gyre Warframe.
She soon thrown down a blue orb that created a bubble barrier with plasma stream from the orb itself looking like a super-sized plasma ball, as the bubble that surrounded other droids which it soon began to electrocute as they cry out in pain.
Next up was Ava as she was riding a K-drive like board make of water as she surfed the air while firing her Warframe signature side arm, the Kompressa which shot out water bubbles which they exploded a few seconds after they were fired destroying many droids at once.
Lastly from the ship as droids were about to storm it and take anyone inside as hostages, only to be meet with the poster boy himself, Excalibur Umbra as Zed draw forth his exalted blade and swing it across, releasing energy slashes that cut down many droids at once before they could get any closer to the ship itself , with many stragglers droid that's around, as they aim their blaster at him, Zed leap up into the air as they fired upon him only for Zed to come back down and slam his sword into the ground summoning and sending many exalted daggers at all the surrounding droids destroying them all at once with ease.
"Clear!" Titus said as he sheath his heavy blade on his back with while regrouping with the Tenno squad as Zed said, "Alright we may have gotten rid of the droids here, but there still a lot more around, and what I can see, a lot of civilian as well, so I want to get these people to their homes, or on board the ship for those without homes for safety until we can secure this location before we hand out supplies."
"Got it, we'll bring the crew out to help out a bit more," Akin said as he and Titus started to head back to the ship and get the crew involved while Mari and Ava stay for the moment as Ava said, "We'll get the people back into their homes and gather up the homeless and the sick as well and get them looked at in med bay."
"Get to it then," Zed said as the two girls left leaving Zed by himself as he turned around to see the clone troopers were coming out of the ship with Ahsoka and Barriss coming up to zed as Ahsoka ask, "So what the plan."
"Securing this area is top priority, so at beast get the clone troop station at different points around clear out any more droids that we may have missed and lock them down while the ship crew will unload supplies and get prepared themselves, do what you think it's best to do," Zed said as Ahsoka nodded as she said, "Understood."
"And what will you do?" Barriss asked him as zed look to her and said, "For now I'll scout around just in case if there any large platoon of droids around, if not then anything else that I can do."
"May the force be with you then," Barriss said as Zed just nodded to that as he said in an awkward way, "And may… ahh it be with you as well."
At that moment Ahsoka and Barriss snorted a bit to that as Zed sighed as he wasn't used to saying anything force related, as the void didn't have a saying like that, so why should he say that?
Zed just walked away without saying another word at that point, feeling a bit embarrass by that as Ahsoka said, "I guess he can't say it just yet."
"But then again he is devoid of anything force related, maybe he doesn't have it in his heart to say it because of that," Barriss said as she and most if not all the jedi are aware the Tenno are absent from the force itself and left in their wake is just a void, but that didn't mean they were lifeless, it was just a harder way of living.
With Zed on his own now, there was a place he needed to check out, when he saw that image that the Jedi had showed him, he had saw some similarities about one building in this entire place that was similar to the Origin system, and he was on his way to it.
Leaping across building and roof tops to find the place he saw, and after a bit he soon arrived it, and as far he could tell the build did look new compare to other places, and the architect wasn't something from the Fa'ar-Awa system either which had bother him, one of the reason he took this mission, to check the place out as he said, "Time to see who home."
But before he got off to that building, there was pings on his mini map as he sighed as he should have guessed it wasn't that easy as he look to check it out, the pings increase and the size was huge as zed quickly rush over where the pings are showing, and to his surprise, he saw many platoon of droids coming in their area as he said, "Great, just great. Team, Ahsoka, Barriss and anyone else that can hear me, we have many platoons of droids coming are way, I repeat many platoons of droids are headed our way. Everyone to safety now and prepared to defend!"
"Got it/Understood/Roger/We'll hurry then!" everyone said as Zed soon headed back to the landing area to face the incoming droid forces.
(Ahsoka)
Many clones were rushing as they were setting up barricades and try to block off as many allies' way as they can to force the droids to come in from one direction with a platoon or two of droids coming their way while other platoons were going down other ways.
"Lay down some barriers and aim down those streets! We got a platoon of droids coming our way!" Ahsoka order her clone forces as one said to her, "Roger that General!"
Ahsoka is a bit surprise to be called General now, as it was just commander or Ms. Tano, but she was leading this small army of clones herself now, and she can't let anyone down as Barriss said, "We got everyone evacuated off the streets, but there are too many areas to secure."
"We will have to make do and cover as much as we can," Ahsoka said as she wondered what else she can do as she looks around as she soon said, "I want some troop on top of those buildings covering from above!"
"Understood general! Sniper team get top side and hold that area!" the clone commander order out as Clone troop with long ranger blaster rifles gotten up onto the buildings and get into high places to set up their Sniping nest.
(The Tenno)
The Tenno were getting their gun all fully loaded and prepared some Spector's fresh from the star forge factory line to help cover the area. They were mostly 1 Star types as they were the cheapest to make right off the bat as Titus said, "Those droids are so screwed when they come down this way."
"It seems it's just like back in the old war the Neptune Campaign if … man I sound like an old person," Akin said realizing what he is saying as Mari said to him, "Not a surprise of what we been through before, at least this isn't going to be like the New war."
"And lucky avoided a third war as well," Ava said as everyone could not help but agree with that as they didn't have to worry about Sentient attacks all over the place with Titus said, "Hey droids just appear on the map, they are coming in soon!"
"Great, now where is our fearless leader anyway?" Mari asked looking around just before Zed suddenly landed in front of the group saying, "Right here, is everyone ready?"
"As ready as we can be," Akin said as Zed nodded as he stood with his fellow Tenno and the few soldiers that they brought with them as the droid forces was soon coming into view as they came down the streets and turn into theirs.
"Here they come." Zed said and thus the Droids were seen marching towards the area. The Tenno in turn began to open fire on the Droids as they made their approach towards them. As the Droids came their way Zed made ideal use of Nataruk as he sent a few energy arrows out before sending one that detonated once it hit a droid taking several down with it. The battle Droids meanwhile continued with their approach as they saw the Tenno were here.
Aiding the Tenno were of course the clone Troopers as Ahsoka and Barriss deflected the laser shots back at the Droids. Many droids were falling to them, but they continued on with their approach towards the Tenno. The Tenno were just trying to bring them closer since the area was blocked off enough to force them to come in one direction.
In the back of the path was a Separatist hover tank which of course meant trouble for the Tenno. Thankfully, they were fully prepared for it as they saw this. "Aya take out that Tank, Mari Titus cover her!" Zed ordered and thus they understood their task.
"Right!" The three Tenno called out and thus they got moving on the tank.
Riding on Merulina Aya rode through her foes while summoning up saw blades made of water. The blades sliced through the Droids tearing through them like with ease. If they were organic beings the scene would have been much more gruesome but thankfully that was not the case. Once she got to the tank, she spun around the canon barrel and got to the hatch before tearing the hatch open.
"Hey, you're not authorized to." The Droid was cut off when Aya stabbed her blade into it and then tore the Droid out of the tank. Taking out a grenade she had secured she threw the explosive device into the hatch before closing it. Once that was done Aya slid down the tank, opened the other hatch, and threw the grenade into it as well and then fired off her side arm at the Droids inside it. Once that was done, she once more summoned Merulina and rode out of the area to safety.
The tank exploded and in turn this gave the troops a new spot to use as cover. "Forward!" Zed ordered and thus he and his fellow Tenno moved forward followed closely by the two Jedi and the Clone Troopers. Once they got to the destroyed tank, they used it as cover as another wave of Droids began to approach.
"Take that Clankers!" A clone called out firing off his blaster at the Droid as Ahsoka helped by deflecting laser fire.
"Hey check it out!" Akin called out pointing to a manhole which the group saw this.
"The city has several of these around the area." Barriss said as this was part of her research. "It might prove useful for our use if we can map them out." Barriss said as Zed had an idea.
"Dibs!" Akin called out and in turn opened the manhole before diving in.
"Akin wait!" Zed called but it was already too late to stop him. "And of course, you're already in." Zed said as he knew Akin would do something reckless again.
"Wait where are the Droid Poppers?" Mari asked as she noticed the devices were missing.
(Meanwhile with the Droids)
Akin rose up from another manhole behind them as he was grinning sinisterly through his Warframe. If he had brought Limbo for this mission, it would have been as simple as opening a rift and catching them by surprise. Or even better use Nova to open a portal and swerve through the enemy lines but this worked better also. Activating the poppers Akin sent them out rolling before holding one last popper in his hand.
He then tapped a Droid on the shoulder and got his attention. "Here you go." Akin said giving the droid the popper that was active.
"Oh, thank you." the Droid said as Akin then saluted the Droid and dove back into the manhole.
"Well, he was nice." The Droid said only for the poppers to all go off causing the Droids to go down with it.
(Back with the Tenno)
"Hey guys miss me!" Akin said as he came back out the hole he went into.
"Nice job." Zed praised but then more laser fire went off as they saw more droids coming their way.
"Geez they breed these guys like math." Titus said as they saw the Droids approaching them. Just then a rocket shot came forward causing the Jedi and Clones to panic over it.
"Take cover!" Ahsoka called out as she and Barriss moved the clones over to take cover. When the rocket his Ahsoka and Barriss were blasted back from it.
"Ahsoka Barriss!" Zed called out as he then went forward and checked the pair over.
Ahsoka was coughing as Barriss was raddled a bit from the blast. "We're fine." Barriss said thankful she knew the Force Healing technique.
As the pair got up it seems their Jedi Robes were not as practical for a battlefield as one would be led to believe judging by the tears and gashes that had formed on them. "Let's get back to the fight already." Ahsoka said as she got back up.
"Medic." Zed said as the field medic from his crew came over to check them over.
"Come on I said I'm fine." Ahsoka defended but Zed looked to her.
"Just making sure." Zed said as the medic was using a scanner on Ahsoka and Barriss to make sure they did not have a concussion or something.
"Get ready for." Zed began but was then cut off by something happening with the third wave. From above cloaked figures came down and began slashing their way through the Droids like nothing. From under their cloaks the Tenno saw traces of gold on them as he also saw them wielding familiar katana's.
"Are those?" Aya asked as she saw what was going on.
"Are they what?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to the new arrivals.
The new arrivals were slaughtering the Droids as they used weapons and styles that belonged to a Dax Soldier of the Orokin Empire. They were even seeing using Prime Weapons to take out the Droid forces who were trying to move in on the location. Just then a commando Droid appeared and tried to get one of them with its allies. The Droid in question only managed to get the cloak and tore it off to reveal who was under it.
Standing tall and proud was a Dax soldier armor unmistaken by the Tenno who knew two Dax soldiers who survived the fall of the Orokin Empire. "Friends of yours?" Ahsoka asked as Zed seemed nervous now.
"That is yet to be seen." Zed said as he knew that other then Tenshin and Varzia the Tenno did not part from the other Dax on good terms seeing as they purged them with the other Orokin so many centuries ago.
It was not long before the Dax soldiers had removed their cloaks and finished off the Battle Droids. This ended the skirmish and in turn had opted for them to start approaching the group after seeing the Tenno. Zed was ready to fight as were his allies on instinct alone opting the Dax to stop.
"Tenno you made it good." An unnamed Dax said quiet possibly the leader who approached them peacefully. "It would seem the planets leaders listened to their warnings and sent out the distress signal." She said as Umbra looked to the Dax in question finding her familiar.
"They?" Mari asked and in turn the Dax Soldiers stepped aside with the leader gesturing for them to follow.
"You will see soon enough." She said and thus Zed knew she was gesturing to the monastery near their staging area.
"Captain Vaughn once we get back to the landing site stay with the troops and ensure Senator Chuchi is secured." Ahsoka ordered and thus the Clone nodded.
"Yes sir." He said and thus they had orders given out.
(Scene Break later)
They arrived back at the landing site as and not long after they arrived at the monastery. Once they were there the Dax Soldiers a small unite of them were ready to welcome them in. Two stood on either side of the doors and proceeded to open them up and needless to say what they found inside was shocking. "Nostalgia anyone?" Titus asked looking around the area as they entered the place.
"Yeah, just not the good kind." Zed said as he looked at the scene and was reminded of Lua and the Orokin Empire. The Dax Soldiers took varying locations around the building standing vigil over something or someone. Just then the sound of elegant yet calm footsteps were heard which had in turn caused the group to look to the sounds source. The Source came from the stairs that led up to the buildings second floor. From above the Tenno and two Jedi were met with the sight of a pair of blue skinned being wearing the most elegant and expensive looking attire.
For the Jedi, these two brought with them a certain aura around them. It was hard to describe it but for the Tenno it brought only memories painful ones that of the Orokin and of Ballas. "Presenting." The Female Dax spoke as she did a small bow and raised her arm to the side to the two Orokin survivors. "Orokin Executor Rah-ha'ti and his sister Orokin Executor Osaria." The Dax introduced and thus made the situation worse for the Tenno.
Rah-ha'ti saw the Tenno as he and his sister began to descend the steps with every bit of propriety and arrogance the Orokin were most known for. "Ah Tenno good the planets leadership headed our warnings and sent for aid before these Separatist Scoundrels made their way here." the Executor said as he looked to the Tenno welcoming them as if they were longtime friends.
"Know you lot are still about I'm starting to regret us coming here." Zed said as he knew never trust an Orokin after what happened with Ballas.
"Ah yes that bit of nasty business." Rah-ha'ti said while his sister Osaria scoffed to this as calling it, 'nasty business,' was a severe understatement.
"It seems even now you Tenno forget your place." Osaria said her voice dripping with arrogance and pride. "Now I suggest you send your two servants away this should not be discussed among their foreign ilk." Osaria said to which she gestured towards Ahsoka and Barriss.
"Hey how about we!" Mari began but was stopped by Zed who raised his fist signaling her to stand down.
"These two are Jedi the peacekeepers of this galaxy their Dax as one would compare." Zed said as he tried to stay neutral in his tone. "If you have business with us that involves this planet joining the Republic then you have business with the Jedi as well who serve the Republic." Zed said as Ahsoka caught the tone Osaria had used and was glad Zed stopped Mari from acting.
"Of course, please forgive my sister's tongue she at times forgets the Orokin Empire is no more." Rah-ha'ti said with a cool and soothing tone while the Tenno watched the eyes of the two. If those eyes started glowing it normally meant that they were about to do something with their mind. "And being the last of our kind, your Republic is obligated to ensure that we survive is it not." Rah-ha'ti added as the Tenno knew that these two were in fact the last Orokin in the Universe if you disregard the Entrati due to them being infested.
"That is correct the Republic have laws in place to preserve sentient species who suffer from certain problems, last of their kind and those whose culture has a low birth rate." Barriss said as she looked to Zed confirming the Orokins words.
"Ok so you called for help, what do you need help with?" Zed asked as he looked to the two Orokin and their small detachment of Dax Soldiers.
"Unlike my narrowminded and intolerant sister I have grown quite fond of this world. I've shared with them many wonders from the old Orokin empire and in exchange they allowed us to remain here undisturbed." Rah-ha'ti said as he gestured to monastery in which he called home. "While I can agree that the Separatists have the right to leave the Republic should they so desire I fear that they would not provide such proper treatments for my sister and I as endangered as we are of dying out." He said with his right arm to himself and his sister. "I simply wish for my sister and to continue to live here peacefully." Rah-ha'ti said gesturing to the area around them signally the planet itself. "And to do so if I am to work alongside the Republic, I feel it would be best for us to... bury the hatchet between us, Tenno." Rah-ha'ti said as he was offering the olive branch of peace to the Tenno.
"Oh, so now you guys want peace only because you are on the bad end of extinction, you're trying to save your own skin!" Akin yelled almost accusingly no doubt hatred between Tenno and Orokin had carried on even to this age.
"Silence your tone cur! If it were not for Margulis and the Sentient, you would have been put in your place as a Yuuvan should!" Osaria said and thus Rah-Ha'ti's eyes began to glow.
"SILENCE SISTER!" He snapped with his voice echoing causing his sister to shy away from her brother. "My apologies once more for my sister's tongue, it seems so long without our fellows she has forgotten basic posterity." Rah-ha'ti apologized on his now silent sister's behalf. "Now then I hope we can be open to negotiate our needs as well as the needs of this world whom we had shared our wonders with." The Orokin male offered as Zed glared at the pair before Ahsoka spoke up.
"We will be happy to negotiate once the fleet breaks through the Blockade over the planet we can contact Chancellor Palpatine to make your request known." Ahsoka said being calm about this, but she could sense the tension.
"Thank you, Master Jedi for you and the Tenno's considerate nature." He said and thus two Dax soldiers approached them. "I noticed your outfits were damaged in the battle allow me to offer these replacements as we repair yours." Rah-ha'ti said and thus Ahsoka saw the tunics were of a fine silk.
"Oh, there is no need for that." Barriss said but Osriria growled suggesting they should have been grateful for the mere offer.
"I insist." Rah-ha'ti said and thus Ahsoka and Barriss took the outfits. "Dax Kuroko." He then signaled to the female Dax from before. "Please send out a small detachment of Dax soldiers to help secure the area and aid in the relief effort." He said and thus Umbra went wide eyed as he knew the name of that Dax as it almost made Zed lose his focus when flashes of memories training a young girl appeared before his eyes.
"As you wish." She said with a small bow and thus signaled to a few of the troops to gather who they could secure and provide aid.
Once that was done Zed nodded and was ready to go and thus looked to his group. "Let's go we still have a job to do." Zed said and thus he and his squad with the two Jedi took their leave of the area.
Once they were out of the room the siblings smiled sinisterly to each other. "So how was my performance sister?" Rah-ha'ti asked and thus Osaria returned it with a sinister smile of her own. It was clear that the Orokin pair had their own plans and what many don't realize it involved a special object made by a familiar foe to the Tenno.
