Well, everyone. We are down to the final part of the Synchro Dimension Arc. We will also be going back to weekly updates since I have to go back to work tomorrow, but I'm hoping to at least get to Xyz Dimension during Christmas Break. Speaking of breaks, we'll also be getting a break from the Riding Duels and going back to regular Duels.

Chapter 34: Defeat Roget! Stop the Ark Cradle!

Duel Palace

Everyone was watching in anticipation for the next major Duel to begin. The Title Match between the current king, Jack Atlas and the captain of the team that won the Friendship Cup, Yuya Sakaki.

"You've done well in leading your team to victory in this tournament." Jack said.

"All I did was simply believe in them and their potential." Yuya admitted as he looked at his friends who smiled at him. "The only reason I'm here right now is because of them as well as the other teams that we fought in this tournament."

He then took out his deck and showed it to Jack. "And this victory also belonged to each and every one of these cards. They answered my wishes and they helped me gain victory in battles in both the Standard and Synchro Dimension. And they will continue as we keep fighting against Leo Akaba."

"I see…it was that belief in his cards that Tuning Magician granted him a miracle in the form of Enlightenment Paladin, Sorcerer Supreme and Stardust Wing Dragon. Believing in his cards, learning from both his friends and opponents…you're the opponent that I've been looking for, Yuya Sakaki." Jack thought.

Just then a large helicopter hovered over the Duel Palace and holograms of the five council members appeared. "The Council?" Gongenzaka questioned.

"What are they doing here?" Aki questioned.

"Citizens of Neo Domino City, with the completion of the Friendship Cup Main Tournament, we of the High Council have something to confess to all of you." White Taki announced.

"While the Friendship Cup is supposed to show the harmony between the Tops and Commons, the truth is that it is a tournament mean to choose the King among the strongest Duelists." Bordeaux explained.

"Our goal was to use this King as a symbol to create balance between the Tops and Commons with the intention of ensuring the status quo." White Taki said.

"In other words, for us it didn't matter who was the King." Gael admitted.

"The status quo isn't threatened as long as there isn't someone with the ambition to get rid of us." Gray said.

"Roget…" Yuya muttered.

"However, during this year's tournament, we realized this line of thinking became antiquated and merely a stopgap, and how cowardly we had become." Azul confessed.

"Jack Atlas, your idea of expanding the Friendship Cup to include Team Battles played a major part in showing a new future for Neo Domino City! And Team Guardians, despite all of the events that had come, including Zero Reverse, you have shown us that even in the depths of despair, a single glimmer of hope is enough for us to find a path to harmony."

"That is why, as of today, there are no more Tops or Commons! Everyone will be treated as equals as we all walk towards the path of a new future! And of course, we, the High Council, will also dissolve and entrust the future to the next generation as well as forming an official alliance with the Standard Dimension to combat the Fusion Dimension and offer aid to the Xyz Dimension. If you all approve, please show it with your applause." White Taki said.

Instantly, everyone in the city applauded and cheered with the decision. "Wow! Just wow! This is the most moving, stirring sight I've ever seen! Tops and Commons are no more! Neo Domino is truly one! We are all friends! To think I can commentate on this historic moment…I still got it!" Melissa cheered.

"We did it…we actually did it…" Rua started to tear up. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry." Rua started crying as the Guardians achieved their goal of changing the city.

"Come on, Rua. Save the tears for our big victory." Jonouchi patted Rua's head.

"Yeah! Wohoo!" Sawatari did a victory dance. "Mission Accomplished! We saved the Neo Domino; we got new friends and now we're the champions! Raise the roof! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!"

Just then the entire city began to shake. "What's going on?" Gongenzaka wondered.

"Hey, over there!" Rin pointed to Security Headquarters. The entire building started to rise from the ground and the building transformed itself into a mechanized fortress with cannons, missile launchers and lasers and multiple Antique Gear monsters started taking positions around it.

"I DIDN'T MEAN LITERALLY!" Sawatari shouted.

"Attention, ungrateful rats of Neo Domino City." Roget appeared on the screen. "Since you all have failed to follow my orders, I have decided to do the next logical thing. I will kill every single resident of this stupid city!" Roget declared.

"Say what?!" Crow exclaimed.

"Do not even bother trying to get out using transportation, I have stopped the Momentum that provides power to this entire city!" Roget revealed.

To prove his point, the power all over the city went out, vehicles on the ground came to halt and helicopters started to go down and crash. Luckily, no one was hurt.

"But I'm not that cruel, I'll give you all a three-hour time limit to get yourself away from Neo Domino City." Roget held up three fingers.

"Three hours?" Aki questioned.

"For those who are wondering what will happen in three hours, take a look." Roget showed the fortress. "This fortress, the Ark Cradle, is currently charging a cannon blast that when made contact with the ground will spread several hundred kilometers, developing all of Neo Domino City and even beyond!" Roget showed the map of the blast radius.

"So, say your goodbyes you pathetic worms!" Roget laughed before he disappeared.

Panic instantly erupted as all of the citizens attempted to evacuate.

"Everyone, calm down!" An officer calmed down.

"Panic will only make it worse!" Another officer said.

"There are four routes straight out of the city, if you all remain calm, we can get out of the blast radius with at least an hour to spare!"

All of Sector Security started helping evacuate the citizens, actually doing their jobs for once.

But Roget didn't make it easier for any of them, as soon as he ended his call the Antique Gear Monsters started jumping down from the Ark Cradle to block anyone from exiting.

"Since it's come to this." Shun prepared his Duel Disk only for a hand to stop him.

"You're needed elsewhere." Sherry said. "Fleur De Chevalier!" Sherry summoned her monster and it started destroying the Antique Gear monsters. "We'll help with the evacuation. Guardians, you have to stop the Ark Cradle."

"Sherry." Shun said.

"Driven Daredevil!" Mizoguchi summoned his samurai.

"Reptiless Basilisk!" Misty summoned her Dark Synchro Monster

"Thunder Unicorn!"

"Voltic Bicorn!"

"Lightning Tricorn!"

Andre, Breo and Jean summoned their monsters.

"Go! Gogiga Gagagigo!"

"Help them out! Frostosaurus!"

"Awaken! Zushin!"

Yoshizo, Jinbei and Taro summoned their monsters to fight them off.

"The fickle god from the Polar World, show us your absolute power and laugh at the world! Descend! Polar God Emperor Loki!"

"When the gate to the star world opens, the ancient god of battle swings its magical hammer! As the earth trembles, it arrives with roaring thunder! Descend! Polar God Emperor Thor!"

"The almighty king that rules the northern polar sky! It's time to control the gods of the Polar World and show your authority! Rule the heavens and earth! The ultimate God! Polar God Sacred Emperor Odin!"

Brave, Dragan and Harald summoned their Norse Gods.

"Hurry, Guardians! Defeat Roget and stop the Ark Cradle!" Harald shouted.

"Alright, let's go, everyone!" Yuya rallied everyone together.

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

Road to the Ark Cradle

Despite Momentum not working, Yuya, Rin, Rua, Jack, Crow and Aki discovered that thanks to the Crimson Dragon, they were still able to use D-Wheels. Since Jack's D-Wheel was one seat only, the others had someone riding with, Yuzu rode with Yuya, Sawatari rode with Aki, Rua powered a D-Wheel driven by Jonouchi, Rio rode with Rin and Asuka rode with Crow, while Shun used his Raid Raptors to carry himself, Serena, Ruri, Dennis and Gongenzaka.

Jonouchi felt Rua's grip increase on his jacket and looked back. "You okay, buddy?" Jonouchi asked.

Rua was thinking back to before the group headed to the Ark Cradle.

Duel Palace – Before the Guardians left for Ark Cradle

"Here, Ruka." Rua gave Ruka her deck back with Ancient Fairy Twilight Dragon on top. "Let's take out these monsters and get somewhere safe."

"Wait, you're not going?" Ruka asked.

"Ruka…you're the only family I have left. If I lost you and I wasn't there I…I'm not abandoning you again." Rua said.

"Rua, you never abandoned me." Ruka took Rua's hand. "Even though I was trapped in the Spirit World, you did everything to make sure that I would come back. And you protected me even though you weren't beside me."

"I just…I don't to want to leave you…We're finally back together and if I leave I…" Rua couldn't finish his sentence as he had a gut feeling that if he went with the others, he might not ever come back to Ruka.

"Rua, you're a hero, and the people of the Xyz Dimension and Fusion Dimension need you." Ruka spoke. "There are probably brothers and sisters there that have lost their siblings but don't have the courage to fight back. But you can give them the courage, you can help them reunite their families. You can give them hope in despair. Just like Papa said."

"You remember Dad's words?" Rua asked.

"Aporia always believed in you even though he wasn't gonna have much time with you." Bruno approached the twins.

"You knew him, Bruno?" Rua asked.

"Yes, Aporia was one of my closest friends and when he died, I was devastated but looking at you, I can see that Aporia is very much alive. Don't worry, Rua, I will look after Ruka. We'll be waiting for you." Bruno promised.

"Just promise me one thing, Rua. Come back home safely." Ruka pulled Rua into a hug.

"Yeah, of course. I will come back. I promise…" Rua hugged Ruka back.

The twins separated before Ruka gave him a smile. "Now go save the world, hero!"

"You got it." Rua nodded.

"Rua." Bruno held out necklace locket with a back of Duel Monster's card at the end. "If you ever need motivation, look inside this locket."

Road to the Ark Cradle

Rua opened the locket and he smiled at what was inside. On one side was a picture of him and Ruka as babies and on the other side was his parents with his grandpa and Bruno smiling with his mother pregnant with them.

"Rua." Jonouchi saw the locket.

"I'm fine. Just needed motivation. Let's save the city." Rua smiled.

"You got it." Jonouchi grinned.

"Hey, guys, we got someone coming up behind us, fast!" Sawatari looked back to see a buggy driving up fast towards them.

Coming up from behind them was Reiji, Reira and Tsukikage with Tsukikage driving. "You sure you should be here?" Yuya asked.

"My wounds have healed up." Reiji confirmed. "Also, I had time to think about what you and Jack said. You both were right. I behaved just like my father, only caring about the mission and not my comrades. I need to do more than just formulate one strategy, I have to open minded to other's suggestions and put myself in the frontline with my comrades. If you will have me, I would like to be part of the Guardians."

"What about the Lancers? Didn't you want to destroy all of your enemies?" Yuya asked.

"Protecting the other dimensions is more important than crushing our enemies. That's the true way to earn more comrades than displaying our power." Reiji smiled.

Yuya smiled back. "Alright, Guardians! Let's storm right in!"

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed and they sped up.

The marks on Yuya's, Rin's, Rua's, Jack's, Crow's and Aki's arms glowed and the Crimson Dragon appeared and it used its body as a bridge for everyone to go up to the Ark Cradle and everyone stormed through the glass doors and into the fortress.

The group continued travelling when they suddenly reached a dead end. "Seriously, a dead end?" Serena complained.

"How much time before the Ark Cradle fires its cannon?" Rio asked.

"In exactly 2 hours, 10 minutes and 47 seconds." Roget's voice answered.

"Roget! Where are you?!" Jack shouted in anger.

"Oh, where are my manners. Please, let me show you the way." Suddenly, the path that the group came in was blocked by a wall and Shun's Raid Raptors disappeared along with Yuya's, Rin's, Jack's, Crow's, Aki's and Jonouchi's D-Wheels.

"What the hell?!" Jonouchi exclaimed.

Then four giant vacuum tubes emerged and started sucking everyone in and everyone screamed as they were separated.

Yuya, Jack, Rin, Yuzu and Crow got sucked through the North.

Sawatari, Gongenzaka, Aki, Jonouchi and Rua got sucked through the West.

Shun, Ruri, Dennis, Serena and Rio got sucked through the South.

And finally, Reiji, Reira, Tsukikage, and Asuka got sucked through the East.

North Path

Everyone screamed as they a slid around the tubes before landing in a separated area from each other with only one path forward.

"Ow, is everyone okay?" Yuya asked.

"A bit shaken up, but I'm okay." Rin answered.

"But where's everyone?" Yuzu looked around.

"They were sucked in by different tubes." Crow recalled.

"Did you all enjoy the ride?" Roget appeared in a hologram.

West Path

"0 stars!" Sawatari complained. "I prefer rides that don't put my life in danger!"

"What have you done to everyone?" Jonouchi asked.

"I split your group into four areas with only one path ahead, but don't worry, all paths will eventually converge to one point." Roget explained.

South Path

"Stop being a coward and face us!" Shun shouted in anger.

"Don't worry, I will face you all. Consider this my last stand." Roget answered. "Let me explain. All four of these paths will join together at where I am, but, three of those paths have checkpoints where there will be a Duelist waiting for you."

"And what about the one with no checkpoint?" Rio asked.

East Path

"The one with no checkpoint will automatically face me, however, my door will only open if the three Duelists at the checkpoints are defeated in a Duel.

"Which means the ones on your path have no choice but to wait until the others are finished." Reiji fixed his glasses.

"That's right." Roget nodded. "And I will tell you, these three Duelists are not your average kind. In fact, you might as well give up right now."

North Path

"Don't screw with us!" Yuya shouted. "It doesn't matter how strong your Duelists are, we're not gonna back down nor are we gonna run away! We're gonna save this city and defeat you!"

"Well then, I wish you all luck. But you better hurry, clock's ticking." Roget's hologram disappeared from every path.

"Let's not waste anymore time, let's go ahead and move." Jack said.

"Right." Yuya agreed. Everyone started running straight down the path they were on.

Roget's Room

Roget watched with a smile as the Guardians all ran down their paths and to their goals. "I have studied all of you during the Friendship Cup." Roget said. "I know your weaknesses."

He pressed a button at the West Checkpoint. "You're up first. And you better not let me down, or else."

West Checkpoint

Sawatari, Gongenzaka, Aki, Rua and Jonouchi saw a light a door at the end of their path.

"Hey, I think I see a checkpoint!" Sawatari said.

"Let's get ready for anything." Jonouchi advised.

The group entered the checkpoint room and looked around to see where their opponent was.

"So, you've come…" A voice echoed and Gongenzaka tensed up.

"That voice…" Gongenzaka recognized that voice. The door in front of them opened and walking into the checkpoint was.

"Kiryu!" Gongenzaka shouted.

"You know this guy?" Sawatari asked.

"He's the one who taught me Dark Synchro. But what are you doing here? What about Satisfaction Town?" Gongenzaka asked.

"Take a look." Kiryu showed his neck and there was a device. "Roget took all of Satisfaction Town hostage and unless I defeat you, I cannot save it."

"What do you mean?" Sawatari asked.

"This device is connected to bombs that are scattered throughout Satisfaction Town, should I lose, the bombs will go off and everyone in there will die." Kiryu explained.

"Wait, Kiryu! We can find another way! We don't have to Duel!" Gongenzaka tried to reason.

"You don't have a choice." Kiryu snapped his fingers. Two chains shot from beside him and one wrapped itself around Aki and another around both Jonouchi and Rua.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Sawatari argued.

"This is a war." Kiryu explained. "Both sides are fighting for what's precious to them. If I lose this Duel, my town will be destroyed, but if you two lose to me, your friends will die."

"Stop, Kiryu! This isn't you!" Gongenzaka shouted. "Roget is controlling you just like he's done with Security! Snap out of it!"

"I'm not being controlled. I'm Dueling you with my own free will." Kiryu said. "It's my duty to protect Satisfaction Town no matter what and if that means the death of Neo Domino City, then so be it."

"Kiryu!" Gongenzaka was torn by what his master had decided. He wanted to help Kiryu but if the cost was the lives of his friends, he couldn't do that.

"Damn it, no matter who wins, someone will lose something important to them. The only one who wins is Roget, it's just like Zero Reverse." Sawatari thought.

"Gongenzaka! I hate to admit it, but he's right. This is war, there's always tragedy. I don't want to destroy a town, but I don't want to watch my friends die either." Sawatari looked behind him. "So, show your Steadfast resolve and fight with me."

"Sawatari…damn it…" Gongenzaka cursed. Both Sawatari and Gongenzaka activated their Duel Disks while Kiryu activated his.

"Duel!" Gongenzaka, Sawatari and Kiryu declared.

South Path

Shun, Ruri, Serena, Rio and Dennis ran down their path before coming upon a large room.

"Think this is the checkpoint?" Dennis wondered.

"If that's true, then where's the Duelist?" Serena looked around.

Suddenly, mist started coming in and it was getting very hard to see. "Mist?" Shun questioned.

"Looks like you haven't learned your lesson." A chill went down Shun's spine as he heard a familiar voice. "That voice…"

Everyone turned to the sound of footsteps and appearing in front of them as the mist cleared was Hell Kaiser.

"Hell Kaiser!" Dennis gasped.

"Are you serious?!" Serena exclaimed.

"What are you doing here?" Shun asked. "Don't tell me you're Roget's puppet?"

"The answer is obvious, I'm here for those two." Kaiser pointed to Ruri and Serena. "Normally, we would have Roget executed for his treason, but since he gave us an opportunity to kidnap the girls needed for the ARC Area Project, we gave him a pass."

"Like hell you're gonna take them." Rio growled.

"I do like a challenge." Kaiser smiled. "Though we are short on time so we'll settle it this way." Kaiser activated his Duel Disk and placed a card in there and the entire room transformed into the inside of a volcano.

A barrier then formed around Dennis, Serena and Rio and levitated them over the magma. "What are you doing?" Ruri shouted.

"It's simple. If you defeat me, you're free to go on ahead but if you lose, then they'll be dropped into the magma. Well, only the traitor clown and weak link of the Resistance." Kaiser clarified.

"You bastard…" Shun growled.

"Let's see if having a partner will let you can at least take half of my Life Points." Kaiser grinned.

"Let's do this, Brother!" Ruri activated her Duel Disk.

"Yeah!" Shun activated his.

"Duel!" Kaiser, Shun and Ruri declared.

Kaiser LP: 4000, Hand: 5
Shun LP: 4000, Hand: 5
Ruri LP: 4000, Hand: 5

East Path

Reiji, Reira, Tsukikage and Asuka arrived at their checkpoint and they were shocked to see who was waiting for them.

"Impossible!" Asuka trembled. Tsukikage prepared to fight and Reira trembled. Reiji looked at the person with a stoic expression.

"It's good to see you again, Reiji." Leo Akaba smiled at his son.

"What is he doing here?" Asuka wondered.

"That's not Leo Akaba." Reiji fixed his glasses. "Don't think your tricks can intimidate me, Roget!"

Roget's hologram appeared. "So, you saw through it. Well, that's to be expected of the Professor's son. But with that being said, I worked with Leo Akaba and I know his deck. So, think of this as a test."

"Test?" Tsukikage questioned.

"If you cannot defeat this copy of Leo Akaba, then what chance do you have against the real deal?" Roget questioned.

"I know you're just trying to stall for time until the Ark Cradle fires, but even so, the path to you can only be unlocked by defeating the opponent in front of us. So, I'll accept this challenge." Reiji accepted.

"Of course, you will, but just to be safe." Roget snapped his fingers and both Reira and Asuka were trapped in a cage. "No interference, please."

"Big Brother!" Reira cried.

"Don't worry, I will assist!" Tsukikage activated his Duel Disk. Reiji activated his and so did the holographic Leo Akaba as the hologram of Roget disappeared.

"Duel!" Reiji, Tsukikage and Leo declared.

North Path

Yuya, Yuzu, Rin, Jack and Crow made it to a large door at the end of their path. "So, this is the door that leads to Roget." Crow said.

"Yeah, which means that in order for us to fight him, the others have to win their Duels." Yuya said.

"Then it shouldn't be a problem, there's no way our friends are gonna lose." Crow declared.

Roget's Room

"You'll find out the hard way when my Duelists bring your friends in body bags." Roget smiled. "Hm?"

Roget saw someone approaching the group from another camera. "Isn't that…hm? Not what I was planning but it could be good entertainment."

North Path

"So, what should we do?" Yuzu asked.

"We should plan out a strategy to face Roget." Jack answered.

"Or I can assist you in killing some time." Everyone turned to the sound of a different voice and appearing in front of them was…

"Raider." Yuya growled as he saw the Duel Academia Soldier.

"That's…Raider…" Yuzu clenched her fists with anger. "He's the one who burned You Show."

"What are you doing here?" Rin asked.

"You should know the answer." Raider answered. "You and Yuzu are important for the ARC Area Project and Yuya is a target to be eliminated of course. It's two birds with one stone, I kill Yuya, and I take you two prisoners."

"Like that's gonna happen!" Crow stood protectively in front of Rin.

"I won't let you harm these children!" Jack stood in front of Yuya and Yuzu.

"Hahahahaha…." Raider chuckled.

"What's so funny?" Crow questioned.

"Just seeing you two protecting them, talk about déjà vu." Raider pulled out five cards. "I felt really bad about burning You Show so I thought I would give you some souvenirs." Raider tossed the cards to Yuya.

Yuya grabbed them and looked at them and his eyes widened in horror. "Th-This is…" Yuzu and Rin looked at the cards and they were shocked.

"Dad! Ayu!" Yuzu saw her father and Ayu with scared expressions sealed in cards.

"Futoshi! Tatsuya!" Rin saw both Futoshi and Tatsuya crying.

"Mom…" Yuya trembled as he saw Yoko with a defeated look on her face. "Why…WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!" Yuya roared in anger.

"Hey, in my defense, they came after me. They were like, "You won't get away with burning our school down!" and then there was "Shivers!" and "Burning! Hot-blooded!" and nag, nag, nag." Raider described. "This was just self-defense; I was protecting myself. I'm the victim here."

"You…" Yuya growled.

"YOU BASTARD!" Yuzu bellowed, surprising everyone. "I will never…I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" Yuzu's bracelet shined and she unleashed a shockwave that knocked Yuya, Rin, Jack and Crow off their feet and flowers burst around her.

Raider shielded himself as she saw Yuzu being covered in pink aura and the pupils of her eyes started to glow white. "Is this you're power? Ray?" Raider thought.

"Y-Yuzu…" Yuya was surprised by what was happening to Yuzu.

"Duel me!" Yuzu activated her Duel Disk.

"Very well. Those cards weren't the only thing I picked up from the ashes of your school." Raider activated his Duel Disk.

"Should we help?" Crow asked.

"This is her fight." Jack said.

"Duel!" Yuzu and Raider declared.

West Path – Sawatari and Gongenzaka vs Kiryu

"I'll go first! Draw!" Kiryu drew his card. "I summon Infernity Reloader (ATK: 900, LV: 1)!" Kiryu summoned a monster with the body of a gun. "I set one card and end my turn!"

Kiryu LP: 4000, Hand: 4
Gongenzaka LP: 4000, Hand: 5
Sawatari LP: 4000, Hand: 5

"My turn! Draw!" Gongenzaka drew his card. "I set one monster in Defense Position and end my turn!" Gongenzaka set a monster.

"Gongenzaka must still be torn between fighting Kiryu. I can't blame him. Kiryu taught him that Dark Synchro." Sawatari looked back and forth between Gongenzaka and Kiryu.

"Not only that, if we defeat Kiryu, the bombs around his town will be destroyed and so many people will die, but…" Sawatari looked behind him where Aki, Jonouchi and Rua. were tied up. "If we lose, Aki, Jonouchi and Rua will die. I won't let that happen."

"My turn! Draw!" Sawatari drew his card. "I summon Abyss Actor – Wild Hope (ATK: 1600, LV: 4, PS: 2)!" Sawatari summoned his cowboy actor.

"Then, I activate the Equip Magic: Abyss Prop – Dual Pistol! This Equip Magic can only be equipped onto Wild Hope!" Wild Hope grabbed to two dual pistol guns.

"When this card is equipped to Wild Hope, once per turn, by not having Wild Hope battle, I can select one monster on the opponent's field and destroy it and the opponent takes damage equal to half of Wild Hope's Attack Points!" Sawatari revealed.

"Sawatari, wait!" Gongenzaka tried to stop.

"Sorry, Gongenzaka, but not every story has a happy ending and I refuse to let my friends die! Go! Wild Hope! Destroy Infernity Reloader" Wild Hope fired his guns and one bullet pierced through Infernity Reloader and the other pierced Kiryu and he grunted.

Kiryu LP: 4000→3200

"I activate my Trap Card: Infernity Reflector!" A burst of wind made Sawatari brace himself. "When a monster with Infernity in its name is destroyed, by sending all cards in my hand to the Graveyard, I negate its destruction and inflict 1000 points of damage to my opponent!" Kiryu revealed as he discarded his hand.

"What?!" Sawatari gasped as Infernity Reloader returned to the field and in an instant, both Sawatari and Aki were electrocuted.

Sawatari LP: 4000→3000

"Sawatari!" Gongenzaka gasped.

"Aki!" Rua and Jonouchi shouted.

"Wh-What was that?" Sawatari fell to his knee and Aki panted.

"When you take damage in this Duel, the Duelist and the ones that are trapped in chains will receive an electric shock and when you're Life Points hit 0. When Sawatari takes damage, Aki will be electrocuted. And when Gongenzaka is electrocuted, Jonouchi and Rua will be damaged." Kiryu explained.

"He's serious…he intends to kill us." Gongenzaka thought.

"I set one card and end my turn." Sawatari finished his turn.

"For my town, for the people that live there, I will show you why I'm known as the Death God." Kiryu declared.

And that's the end of Chapter 34 as well as the beginning of the final part of the Synchro Dimension. I hope you all are excited for this to finish up and then moving forward to the Xyz Dimension. I have big plans in store for everyone and I am so excited to share them with you.
